I've been here twice now for lunch, and both times have loved everything I've eaten. Yes, it's a little pricey -- but it's worth it and a great way to treat yourself! While it's a sit-down restaurant, Pasta Pasta Pasta is set up for you to order and pay at the counter -- where all of the day's dishes (except for the regular salads) are displayed to trigger your drool reflex -- and then have your food brought to you once it's ready. Yesterday I went for the sampler platter, which allows you to choose 3 of any of the sides (I think 1-2 if you opt for one of their meat dishes), and is a perfect way to dine for anyone who's indecisive but doesn't want to look like a glutton by ordering everything on the menu. Both the brussels sprouts and the butter beans were delicious and tastily reminiscent of my eating adventures in Tuscany; the shrimp antipasti was also good, just less memorable. Enjoyed a cappuccino at the end of the meal, which was also delightfully similar to those I savored every day throughout Italy -- it's hard to find something comparable anywhere else, but this place comes pretty close! If you're in the mood to really treat yourself, don't shy away from the brownies, either, and one is enough to split between two people. All of their regular salads are great options, too. Don't let their price -- I believe all of them are between $9-11 -- deter you if you're really in the mood for a salad: they're big and full of everything described on the chalkboard menu! Also, the bread served with your meal is some of the best you'll get anywhere, so don't let them forget! Took away 1 star for the service, which is average at best and pretty lackluster. Both times I've been here, I've always felt pressured to order quickly (even when there's no line) and that they're annoyed if I ask questions about the menu items. But whatever -- the food is good enough to overlook this, and I'll likely be back.

I have been here once for lunch and I should say I won't be coming back. Overpriced for what you get. I had a regular Caprese salad. The mozzarella was the cheap kind, chewy and tasteless. Really guys! I don't know if the Cherry Creek crowd is not able to recognize a good mozzarella from a bad one but you should know better. For the price and place I was expecting Buffala Mozzarella. The salad was boring only with Romaine lettuce. My son had a similar boring sandwich with an overpriced Pellegrino lemonade. I was appalled to have this level of bad quality in the heart of Cherry Creek

I can see why some folks really liked this place, but I'm underwhelmed. I remembered seeing a pasta place on 2nd and walked there from work for a solitary lunch. The patio is lovely, and I found the staff perfectly friendly, unlike some other reviewers' impressions. The menu doesn't match the name; there were actually relatively few pasta dishes available. I ordered a basil pasta with a salad, which was scooped out of a tray sitting out on the front counter, deli-style. The salad was extremely ordinary, and the pasta was oily and cold. A slice of baguette accompanying the pasta and salad was a nice touch, especially with a cool pat of butter. The pasta was made with fresh, flavorful basil, and I did like the cheese on top. I can see how this might be a great choice for picky eaters who don't want a terribly complicated pasta dish, or for groups who can agree on Italian, but want a fast casual experience. For myself, I'm hard pressed to imagine coming here again.

I will never go back to this place again!!! Not only is the food subpar, but the service is horrendous. My mom and I were walking with my small dog and decided to stop for some lunch. We entered the outside porch area and I was going to go inside and order when this man stood at the door with a look of disgust not allowing me in and pointing his finger to us then to the bench street side and off his property. I have never been treated so rudely before. I understand places don't allow dogs but there is a right and wrong way to treat people.

Quick and delish! I stopped in here during the Cherry Creek Arts Festival to cool off, get away from the maddening crowd, and grab a light meal. Pasta, Pasta, Pasta had some scrumptious-looking (albeit pricey) lunch selections for lunch - sandwiches, pastas, and salads for around $10+. Most of the options seemed like too much food for me, so I settled on a medium caprese salad made with grape tomatoes and small chunks of mozz and basil, with a slice of crusty bread (and real butter - heaven!), and a lemon soda. It was divine. At first I felt like the portion was a little small - especially for $5.50 - but as I dug in I realized it was just the right amount. This place is fairly small and you'd likely miss it unless you're looking for it. I spotted a random poster hanging on their walkway during the festival directing people upstairs to their storefront, and was happy to oblige. Their patio is small and made to look lovely by all the beautiful hanging flowers, even though it overlooks a sloping parking lot that made me think I could be in San Francisco. Next time I'm in these parts, I'll plan on stopping again for another bite. They do catering, too!

It's confusing why anyone would rate this less than five stars. It's literally the best lunch spot in Colorado. Never had a bad dish. Try go at least once a week. Salmon top notch.

Earlier this week I met up with family for a quick lunch here. I arrived late so the selections were slim. I went for the chicken scallopini which was topped with lettuce, tomato and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. It was a nice sized portion. I found it to be a little lacking in seasoning. A hit of Parmesan on top would have been amazing but I ended up salting it. The service was quick and friendly. I tried a bit of my nieces pasta and judging from that, it is best to come early and get a better selection of items.

We've been going to this place for years and love everything from the pasta to the salads. Everyday the menu rotates to various pasta and entree specials of the day which are all worth trying. The chicken dishes are very tender and flavorful and the salads are a staple for us. We usually get the chopped salad (hold the bacon bits) to share as an appetizer before diving into the main course.

The food is above average, but you would think this place would be MUCH better given the appearance, ambiance, and location. Changing menu is definitely cool though, and the pasta combinations are creative. Worth going to but I'm not writing home about it.

Good luck actually getting food at this place. They stop serving food at 3pm but at Pasta Pasta Pasta that means 2:30. I thought getting here at 1:30 would mean there was pasta available. No dice. Just 2 pieces of chicken, a scoop of caprese salad, and $14 salmon. Luckily the chef(?) was walking around and was able to throw some pasta into water for me. The result? A to-go box of grease and noodles. Some advice to the owners: if you call the place Pasta Pasta Pasta, make good pasta!! Noodles are incredibly inexpensive and hard to screw up but this place gets it all wrong. One more tip -- if you're dead set on eating here, call ahead. They've been closed on at least one occasion mid-week at lunch time. No sign, no reason.

I've been eating here since it first opened. I moved to Boulder years ago so I only get to stop by when I am in town a few times a year. It is the only place in Colorado that compares to the fresh, simple, delicious food you can get in Italy.

If you are looking for how not to cook some evening and want great takeout, Italian style, call Pasta Pasta as good as Cucina Colore....Be sure to call early, by 1pm or some of the selections will be gone. I have had the sausage and peppers, the spinach and ricotta ravioli, chicken, and their salads. All were terrific, a great way to serve wonderful food at very affordable price...without cooking.

Very confusing place name is pasta pasta but its more like sandwiches salads and then pasta. This restaurant would benefit from signage instructing you how to order or even menu's that you can hold in your hand and take a moment to read instead of having stand at the counter with your head in the air. Or maybe even add a super helpful, friendly person at the counter instead of the aloof person i had. Pasta was good, salad was good but didn't quite take me over the edge and wow me. Maybe it's because it was served cold vs. lukewarm or even warm. Maybe that's how they serve it, but that wasn't explained to me and thus my less than enthusiastic review. I almost feel like they should bit the bullet and just go full service and that might help me like this place more. Other reviews comment on portion size, for me this wan't an issue, portion was very generous. Another reviewer noted their attitude was one of doing me a favor, and honestly i think it comes down to this. It's almost as if the place is striving to be luxurious and glamorous but isn't. Sure throw some beautiful Italian plates on the wall, but elegance doesn't stop there, it continues with attitude, Italians are friendly, warm and loving, this place isn't'.

I don't work in Cherry Creek, so the days I have meetings near there and can get lunch here, I get VERY excited. This place is a family-run (seriously, it's the whole family) lunch spot with all the food made fresh everyday. They make a set of selections, and you can choose from them up front. You do indeed pay more for the food - but this is what you should expect for fresh, handmade food. If people want to get big portion sizes for low prices, go to a quick-service chain restaurant. Don't come here. My favorite thing to order is the 3-items on a lunch plate. They have great pasta salads and protein options. I normally order the salmon, a pasta with basil or something similar, and a veggie side. Ask for recommendations. And enjoy!

Whoever is in the kitchen knows what they're doing. The food here is fresh and well cooked. I especially like their salmon with sauce on the side. Other favorites are the basil pasta and chicken milanese with tomato and balsamic on top. The bread is also fresh and a nice little addition. I'm usually not one to eat alone, but I don't mind doing it here. It's a nice setup for a peaceful lunch, indoors or out on the patio. The only downside is that it is a bit pricier than other lunch stops, but worth the visit once in a while.

I was torn on awarding 2 stars or 3 but I think 2 is most appriate. Stopped in for lunch with a friend and my child, let me start by saying this is not a good place to bring kids! They don't have any high chairs and the staff as well as clientele look at you as if you've just brought a bull into a china shop! The food was good, yippe, but way overpriced for the very small portions. The portions are probably what we SHOULD eat but if I'm paying $10.75 for a lunch sized pasta I expect it to be pretty good sized, enough for a meal and then some for later (keep in mind I'm a very petite thing, so it's not like I'm asking for a mega-meal!). All I can say is it's a good thing I didn't bring my husband, he would have been ravenous after eating here. Back to the food, I had the tortelloni and it was definitely yummy, the sauce in particular! The side salad that came with it was really average at best....don't shoot me for saying this, but it looked as though it could have been served at a school cafeteria...iceberg lettuce and a few julienned carrots....hmmm, not the level of sald I'd expect for the price & attitude at the place. Pasta, Pasta, Pasta, invest in 2-3 high chairs please.....remember all of us adults were once children too and then you wouldn't have to deal with those annoying strollers (our server seemed rather put out by it!) if there was a place for a small child to sit during a meal.

Yelp has the wrong address on its site. PPP is located between 1st and 2nd on Fillmore Street. PPP is expensive but very good and worth it.

Don't listen to any of the negative reviews...One of Denver's best kept secrets! Worth every penny.

I need to step in here amidst the somewhat mixed reviews. Honestly, this food is fantastic and there is nothing wrong with the service. It's not table service, which means you are not obligated to tip, so people who say the service is bad need to just get over it - like I said, it's not table service. I think a lot of the people who have given this delicious, local biz less than stellar reviews have not spent much time in other big cities and don't get it: 1) The prices are high because the quality of everything is very, very high and this is a family biz - it's not a McDonald's that can afford to sell you rock-bottom priced food because it's a huge chain. This place is these people's livelihood. 2) Read what I said about the service. If you are only used to eating at home or full table service, you need to travel. Everything here is great and worth every penny. Personally, I prefer not to have too much service because inevitably service screws something up. This is just the right amount of everything.

Wish I could give a rating for food and then a rating for service. Food is 4 star fresh, tasty, yummy. Pricy for the portion size. Ambience, ugh... I have been eating here since it was at the old location. Still every time I come in I get the vibe that "they" are doing me a favor by serving me. Great neighborly vibe; if your neighbor is stuck up. Parking available in garage for for a fee. I know I will get a good meal but, I definitely know it comes with a huge side snobbery. Wear your thick skin and bring.at least $12.00 for your lunch more if you want a beverage.

love...love....love this place. I have been coming here for the last 5 years and have never had a bad meal. my favorite is the basil pasta(which the unfortunately only serve part of the year) another highlight are the brussel sprouts, never had been a fan until I tried theirs. Make sure and come early for the best selection. If you wait much past noon they are out of most of the good stuff.

Just had lunch here with my wife. 1 PM and 3 out of the 6 selections of the day were no longer available. Had chicken scaloppine with side of basil pasta. Must say they were simple but tasty, probably fresh. However the pasta was cold. You can't be a pasta restaurant and serve it cold. Unforgivable. They said they serve it room temperature. I was born and raised in Italy. No one there eats their pasta cold. No one! Chicken was fine but also cold/lukewarm. Wife got tortelloni. They gave her 4. Side salad lettuce plus carrots - bland. They brought her 4 more tortelloni once they realized they had a mistake and after heating them up. Also, slightly overpriced for portions. Has potential but needs to fix a lot of issues. Sorry, but wouldn't return.

Food was ok, but rather pricey for what you get...a piece of chicken and a few green beans for $14.

I have been eating at PPP for close to 20 years. It is truly the best lunch in Denver. You have never tasted anything so delicious in the West...I promise. It can get hectic in this small place so get there early. Just like the world is now asked to understand the "slow-food" movement, you need to be patient with the staff who are doing the best they can to try to keep the food as homemade and individual as possible. PPP has a new location not far from the old one on Fillmore St. I like it for it shows off the beautiful for-sale ceramics from Italy even more. If you don't want to buy anything, you can just enjoy the beauty of Italian design while you eat your delicious tuna nicoise salad or chicken milanese or basil pasta or cold salmon or green bean salad or chop chef salad or brownie or....

Not impressed at all. I believe there was one pasta dish available and that is all, please name your restaurant something other than pasta pasta pasta. Their lettuce that they used for their salads tasted wilted, which is disgusting. I have eaten at quite a few cherry creek restaurants and bistros, they are usually good, not this place. I believe the lady at the register was the owner and she seemed nice and pleasant however the waitress was rude. Sorry guys, I will not return, I will go ahead and move on to the other places surrounding your restaurant and see if hey can impress me

I absolutely love this place. When I lived in Denver I used to frequent this restaurant often. My favorite dish is the Eggplant Parmesean but everything is good. I now live in San Francisco but every time I am in Denver I make time to go to this special place and I am never disappointed!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
