    1. It is a Panera so you know what to expect. 2. Not as nice as the Panera in Glendale as it lacks the comfy lounge seating. 3. The Turkey Bacon Bravo sandwich was a disappointment. Bacon is cheap people! When BACON is in the name, I expect a decent amount of BACON. 4. Pleasant atmosphere overall. Very quiet with the carpet and windowing coverings. 5. The Broccoli Cheddar soup was delicious.

I don't know why this panera has such bad reviews. Everyone was very friendly. They were quick (took about two minutes to make my meal) my only complaint is my baguette wasn't heated like it normally is.

SO good. Everything here is fresh and delicious. A solid Panera establishment. Parking is around back, but I always get confused. Once you find the parking lot, they have a drive thru!! yay! I love the pick two, because I'm indecisive... Also because nothing makes a salad healthier than a pile of gooey mac and cheese. yum.

-It's Panera Bread and It's in my neighborhood. -They have free wi-fi. -I like their French onion soup and they have Mt. Dew! -It's not too busy at this location. -It's clean and tidy. -A-OK

Ordered their new item- soba noodle bowl- today. It was a disappointment. I should of stick to the usual sandwich or salad.

UPDATE: Got the same salad today that I always get. Substituted blue cheese for feta. They gave me HAVARTI cheese, and left off the bacon. Come on, Panera. I never have any problems with any other location. I love Panera, but this location is so hard to love. It's so near my work- I keep going back. Their employees are super nice, but my order is wrong EVERY single time. I don't even custom order anything- they just never put all of the things that are included in the salad on. I would appreciate my chicken cobb avocado salad with chicken on it! They are always great at correcting things, but I shouldn't have to go back in every time I visit.

Always had great experiences at Panera but this location was the worst! They served me wilted lettece and black avacado in my salad! WTH are you blind? NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN! My mistake for not reading the reviews first! This salad is disgusting!

Worst panera I have ever been to! Food was stale, unappetizing looking, and practically inedible. The staff was very rude as well. I had ordered the food to go and went through the drive thru to pick it up. An employee who wasn't even helping me came over to the window just to explain in a rude tone of voice "just so you know, we put the to go orders in the front of the store and you need to come inside to get it. We'll give it to you at the drive through this time, but next time you need to come in". So you are telling me I need to park, walk in, and wait in line for my to go order because you are too lazy to walk a bag across your store?

When I first started working from home 4 months ago, I loved coming here occasionally for breakfast. The staff was friendly, and they made a delicious egg white and cheese sandwich. One weekend I insisted my husband try breakfast here, and the drive thru took 25 minutes and got the order wrong. We tried it two more times, and each time our order was wrong. Having to find parking to take the order back in is inconvenient, but they always try to make it right. After a couple of months of avoiding this place, I tried it again for breakfast. The young woman working the window was rude. The whole point of going there was to get an extra bagel for my husband's lunch tomorrow... Asked for an asiago and got a cinnamon. It's my own fault for going back there when I know their record for getting things right isn't good.

The second star is for being friendly, but their service hardly merits it. 20 minutes in the drive-thru and my order was wrong. Like wayy wrong. Third time in week my order was wrong from this location. They always correct it, but so annoying!

Wow! Never mind on that previous 5 star review! I guess they've "settled in" now and are not worrying too much about the products they serve. Ordered the same sandwich on sourdough, got home, and it was literally all mushed together, and the bread was almost literally paper-thin! Tip! If you're running low on sourdough, just let the customer know! I would have returned it, but who wants to make a trip all the way back? Live and learn... I wish I would have taken a picture; it was really a sad mess. PS Pickles are now wilt-y. sigh..

This is not my favorite location, mainly due to the staff. They are slow, unfriendly and have issues counting out change... My order has been mixed up every time I've eaten at this location too. It is decent to catch an hour on the laptop, but it is not inviting to stay very long. Parking can be a hassle since it is right off 38th too. Save your buck and go somewhere local in the Highlands.

Deserving of 3.5 but not 4 stars. A great and needed addition to the Berkeley neighborhood. It's what you would expect if you've ever been to a Panera anywhere else. I do really like the fact that the atmosphere is warm and cozy. Service is very friendly. Food-wise, Panera does a good job with their soups and most sandwiches are very good and fresh. I'm partial to sandwiches served on crusty bread over thick-sliced soft bread. Ingredients are very fresh but they are too skimpy on the bacon (Turkey/Bacon Bravo sandwich).

I love that Panera opened within walking distance to my house. While I'm not a fan of chains, I view Panera differently. I went there on opening day and received my Panera travel mug. I was then able to refill my it for free (Yes, for Free!) every remaining day in December. I even snuck in a free refill in January. I enjoy their breakfast sandwiches as well as bagels, scones, muffins etc. I have yet to try their lunch or dinner but that will soon come next when in a pinch. The service is excellent and I have zero complaints. Oh! They also have a drive thru which is fast and just what I need when grabbing a coffee on my way to work.

Always fantastic customer service here & so fast. Love their salads & drip coffee to go. Seems well managed. I got a 1/2 salad though today and it was dinky with grocery store type shrimp - did not love it, but I'll try soup & sandwich next time... More their thing.

This location is awful. They have gotten my order wrong at least 1/2 the time. The people are nice enough and the food is the usual Panera quality, but the fact that I never know if I'm getting the right food is so frustrating! Especially because the most recent time, they gave me tuna salad instead of chicken salad, and I hate tuna! So I didn't have any lunch today. I will not be going to this location again

The Panera Bread location just opened and it's conveniently located on 38th Avenue, not far from my house. Upon entering the establishment, I was promptly greeted by the staff. I placed a take-out order and headed home. Unfortunately, upon returning home I noticed they forgot a portion of my order. I was a little irritated that I had to go back there and get our order squared away. The manager on duty offered to refund our entire order, which was very nice of her. Though I politely declined her offer, I was very pleased with the customer service. She also offered to throw in some free bagels and bread to make up for the mishap. Being a small business owner myself, I appreciate this kind of service very much and we'll definitely be back!

They took forever I drivethrough, I was ready to berate them. But unlike other restaurants, I was updated, was told periodically why my order was taking longer, and offered a cookie. Appreciate the customer service. Well done guys!!!

Horrible service! I've been there 4 times now and they are always out of sourdough bread. When i asked why they were always out, i got a bad attitude with even worse service. My sandwich was smashed and the bread was ripped apart. I could've made a better sandwich at home for less money! Also it was suppose to be toasted, but it wasn't...
