I eat at this location frequently, and I've never been inspired to write a review. However, I've noticed that service and food quality here are on the decline. Today, I ordered Japanese Pan Noodles for lunch. I've never had them with shrimp. I usually get them with chicken. I decided that I wanted shrimp today, so for $9.50, I got my Japanese Pan Noodles with shrimp. There were six tiny shrimp in my bowl, and I paid $2.99 for those six shrimp. I won't be making that mistake again. Last time I ate at Noodles, I ordered online. I usually order online because this joint is packed at noon, and you can waste a lot of time in line waiting for your order. I got to the restaurant before my meal was ready, and checked in with the person at the counter. Once my meal was done, it sat on the counter for about 5 or 10 minutes while I waited. I got tired of waiting, so I checked again, and they gave me my meal. This was frustrating to me because had they called my name when they bagged my food, I could have grabbed it and left. There are some kinks to work out in the service here, and I would never recommend anyone order shrimp with their meal because it simply isn't worth it. Stick with the other proteins instead because they are a much better value. If you take your lunch at noon, be prepared for a long wait at this location. I recommend ordering online instead for that reason, but make sure you watch. If you have to wait a while, check with the staff because your food is probably on the counter getting cold.

The absolute worst fast-casual dining experience ever. I can't remember a worse experience from start to finish. I work nearby and have patronized this location occasionally, and there are almost always mistakes with online orders (side salad/soup missing, no utensils, wrong noodle type, etc.). But the staff had been somewhat friendly and I overlooked this -- but stopped dining as often as there are so many other choices in downtown Denver. I've considered Noodles for work event food, but was hesitant and am very glad I did not (will never do so). On September 15 at 610 p.m., I had a buy one get one coupon and thought this would be a quick-and-go meal. The first problem is that this location's internet connection was down so I couldn't order ahead of time for pick up (if doing so, always come about 5-10 minutes after quoted time or it won't be ready). I knew exactly what i wanted to order (two entrees with protein), and I went to the location hoping there wouldn't be a big line-delay and I was the only customer. Waited a couple minutes before someone would take my order, no problem. Then the real disaster began -- from service to food. I asked the employee taking my order for whole-wheat pasta options and he said that linguine was the only type (for health reasons I need to limit carbs to healthier ones). I said, great, I am ordering two entrees and please give me whole-wheat linguine for both. I ordered meatballs and linguine (substituting for the spaghetti) and then paid tai (linguine also, substituting tomatoes for cabbage). I noticed on my receipt that linguine was not subbed for the spaghetti, and the employee told me he'd alert the kitchen, no problem. Not too complicated, eh? Nearly 30 minutes later, after every other customer who arrived after me receive his-her order, I finally received two items. Pasta and meatballs for crying out loud. Not one employee even acknowledged me during the wait, I had to politely ask the one female employee if my order was ready or would be ready soon -- she proclaimed that they had to cook meatballs (yes at 6-630 p.m., aka dinner time), one of Noodles signature proteins. Not one other acknowledgement whatsoever....just awful customer service. OK so I will assume that your employee don't care about customers. Mind you, I may have been annoyed on the inside, but I give folks the benefit of the doubt -- I was never hostile and never raised my voice (maybe I looked anxious as any customer would after 20+ minute wait ?). Then voila! the meatballs and pasta were ready and my second entree was finally packed up at 6:37, I asked the female employee to verify if it substituted whole-grain linguine as ordered and promised. She asked the guy who cooked it -- and he derisively said that it wasn't ordered that way, he cooked it as ordered, and that is what I get. At that point, the reaction was that they could make another one...sorry I just waited 30 minutes for this, missed 2 buses and I'm not waiting another 30 minutes (1 hour total). And finally when I got home to eat the pad thai, I discovered the pasta was severely undercooked to the point that pieces were so chewy -- and at times a crunch or two. This entree also had cabbage and did not have the requested tomatoes. The shrimp protein is miniscule compared to past years (almost need to order double that amount to taste them). For the other dish, I disposed of the spaghetti and salvaged the meatballs. So ask yourself, is this type of experience worth your time and money? The one employee, seeing my disgust with the screwed-up meatball pasta, tried to hand me a free entree coupon. But as I stated in an email to Noodles, why would I ever want that -- I will not be back to a place that obviously doesn't care about basic customer service and cannot cook the simplest of its signature dishes or basic pasta correctly. I will never be back, as there are tons of alternate dining options nearby. And, besides, I can go home and make dinner (with correctly boiled pasta) in way under 30 minutes the next time. Just an awful experience with disgusting food. Don't bother. PS it's a few days later now. I did email the same concerns to Noodles & Company, and did not even receive an acknowledgment. Apparently either the company or the restaurants employee voided my transaction because of an error that the store representative made in ringing it up. This I believe returned the balance to my previous gift card which the store discarded

The open sign was lit, but clearly, it was closing time. The crew wasn't bitter. They answered my questions and politely took my order. My hotel was local so I was a to-go order any way. My food was hot, fresh and very good when I got back to my hotel room. Try the specials, I had the Thai hot-pot and it didn't disappoint!

I won a free catering order from this location by dropping my business card. Love that they do this! The food was great, however, they lost my order so it wasn't delivered when expected. They were able to quickly accommodate but I had to go into pick up. A little inconvenient. Good thing I called to check on order though! Oh, and they forgot to include the desserts. Major bummer.

Service was friendly quick and efficient, dining area clean, and well stocked with condiments, but the food lacked... I only had a bowl of soup. The soup broth tasted Thai, and after doctoring it with condiments, it was good, but the noodles tasted like water flavor, distinct from the broth. So it seemed like really fast food... I was just not impressed, can't even remember the name of the soup I had.

There aren't a lot of gluten free dining options on 16th street, so it is good to know that you have some options here. That being said... the options here aren't great. They have a gluten free menu online & mini handouts by the cashiers. Pretty much 99% of the menu is off limits with the exception of 4 main dish salads WITH modifications only, the pad thai which is naturally gluten free (rice noodles), and 6 noodle bowls that you can substitute GF noodles for (for an extra $2, so at least get the big size). You have 4 GF protein options (the plain meats) for extra cash. There are 3 veggie sides that are GF too (edamame, cucumber salad, green salad). After all that you will end up spending at least $11 for one bowl, and for a light eater you need the large size to be full since the protein serving is so dang small. Maybe that explains why there are no weightlifters eating here and mostly just women office workers??? I think for an adequate small woman's portion size you'd need to at least double the meat, unless you get the chicken where you get more because it is cheap. And tasteless. No parmesan crust for you GFers! Overall if you are gluten free I would skip it and trek it to Tokyo Joes unless you really need a pasta fix, bc lets face it, if you're gluten free you don't have that many options when it comes to that! So eat up, because it doesn't last very well left over (like any GF pasta... anywhere).

I really don't understand the high ratings. Very disappointing (& pretty pricey to be that MEH). I ordered the stroganoff w/steak, & didn't realize that they don't toss the noodles with the sauce - why not?! Not nearly enough sauce, as well... I tried once more, purchasing the mac & cheese w/parmasan chicken - yet another disappointment. The chicken was good (however, small serving size), but the pasta was super BLAND & TASTELESS. I'm not sure how they managed to ruin alleged Wisconsin cheddar the way that they did, but I wouldn't want my name on their product...UGH!!!

I know most people love Noodles, but for some reason it only like it. It is one of those places I have to be in the mood for. This one is right off 16th St. Mall outside of the Republic Plaza food court. If you get there early it is easy to get in and out, but as the clock ticks closer to noon, the longer the line and the wait will be. I suppose it is so long because they are making up your dish as you order, but it always seems just a bit too long of a wait for fast food (especially if you are taking it to go). The dishes are all a-ok. Nothing is going to blow you away, but the pad thai is passable, the mac and cheese is yummy if you are in the mood and the stroganoff has a richness to it that is makes it seem a little decedent (for fast food that is). I like it, don't love it, but it is Noodles. If you are going here you pretty much know what to expect.

If you are looking for something quick to eat and decent (bland at times) taste, this is a good place. There was nothing spectacular about it.Unlike Chipotle (pricier fast food), with great flavors, this place lack those flavors. I got the Japanese Pan Noodles and my husband got the stroganoff and there was nothing special about it. The only thing good was the digital soda machine... I got my lime diet coke.

I got the Japanese noodle dish and it was so salty that I could not finish it. I will not return.

Horrible. Not worth the money. The chicken looked so gross I would not even attempt to eat it. There is definitely a problem when Kraft Mac n Cheese tastes better than the mac n cheese served here.

Well, I gave this place another shot against my better judgment. I ordered a noodle dish and a side of 6 potstickers. The girl came to my table and dropped off my order along with the wrong order of potsickers (they only provided the 3 count order). She also dropped off another dish which belonged to someone else. See, there was a turned over number 3 order sign lying down on my table. I was order 43. I said, "This isn't mine." She responded with, "Then why is there a number 3 on your table?" I told her it wasn't mine and she asked me, "Are you sure?" What? Really? I think I would know if I ordered TWO noodle dishes! I then told her the potsticker order was incorrect. She looked at her receipt and said, "No it's not" and walked away. What a b*tch! I cannot go back here and subject myself to this kind of childish behavior. What a shame because those potstickers are really good!

Went in for my free bday bowl two weeks ago and was shocked to find that they permanently removed the truffle mac and cheese from their menu! :(

Mmm... a big bowl of fail. We dropped $20 on lunch for 2. Three bites in, we decided to write off the $20 to bad judgement and left. My wife's chicken salad was devoid of flavor - no seasoning whatsoever on the chicken. My pad thai noodles were inedible. The sauce was disgusting and the shrimp weren't seasoned. It was difficult to choke down before giving up. Somebody teach this restaurant how to cook. They can boil water at Noodles & Co, but after that the kitchen needs help.

Had a great lunch "tasting" courtesy of Alicia (Ally) and the awesome staff at Noodles & Co. We got to try some of the summer items such as the Asparagus di Parma, Backyard BBQ Chicken Salad & Margherita Flatbread - all of which were pretty excellent! We also ordered a few favorites such as the Thai Hot Pot and Japanese Pan Noodles. I have to say, I've been eating at Noodles & Co. for over 10 years, and they never disappoint! P.S. Leave a business card in the fishbowl when you go in for lunch! Cheers, Franklin :)

Got the steak stroganoff and was very pleased! Great flavor and everything tasted fresh... got it to go with a cesar salad. Got back to the hotel and was still hot. Will definitely visit again. Staff was friendly.

First time and Yes never coming back! Horrible service and the food is super salty. They have to make my food twice, 1st they gave my food to the other guest (only 5 of us in the restaurant), 2nd made my food with no meat but yet i ordered with meat. Then after i waited for the meat to be cooked, i am the one who end up picking it up! Yet the 3 employees are just standing around and talking to one other. Purely this particular location don't value customer service at all!

I love this place. Food is good. People are friendly (as they can be for working million miles an hours). The line can be very long during the lunch rush, and once in a while the mess up your order, thus giving them 5 starts instead of 6. **Tip**order ahead, your food will be waiting for you typically 5 mins after you order, and you can skip the line.

Had the steak stroganoff noodles today, a desaster. To prepare it yourself at home just the way it was today: Overcook noodles in unsalted water, put some clotted cream sauce over it and some burned mushrooms. Overcook the steak and let everything dry out for 2 hours, then reheat it in the microwave and serve the mess to your family in the same rude way the staff treated you at noodles&company. It will be an unforgettable evening. You can thank me later...

I am a visitor so I thought I give this place a try after a co-worker suggested it. It was very busy during lunch time and it took at least 15 minutes for each customer to get his/her food. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes which isn't so bad unless you are in a rush. However, during that time, I saw at least 3 customers getting the wrong food. Maybe fixing wrong orders added to the overall time... I got the Japanese noodle with marinates beef. Noodle was over cooked, but the beef was tender. The overall experience is not horrible, but this is also not a place I will ever purposely try to come back to again

Noodles was a pleasant surprise for a new chain restaurant that I can get a quick lunch at. The Menu is rather small and simple which is nice for lunch. The meals are all cooked well and hit the style of the dish really well. It's kind of like a home cooked pasta for lunch or dinner. The plates are well portioned and even offer two different portion sizes. I've had the tomato bisque last visit and it wasn't as puree as I like it, yet was still enjoyable and hot. :) I like that they experiment with their meals every once and a while. Currently they have a Mac & Cheese BBQ bowl that I can't quite describe. The service is always efficient. Coworkers and I like it for a work outing.

Got the spicy Caesar wrap, but asked for regular Caesar dressing and they still gave us the spicy, took a while to get food but workers were extremely friendly! Wrap was still good even without the dressing! Also got a snicker doodle cookie and rice crispy treats, very good!!

Horrible service. Brought out my appetizer, took my number away, and thus never brought my main dish (thai soup). And even when alerted to it, took another twenty minutes. There's two other customers in here. Totally inept, I will never step foot in here again.

The Pasta Fresca is amazing, even with gluten-free pasta. I cannot provide any more feedback than that because I literally have never had anything other than the Pasta Fresca.

Visited this place for lunch on Friday Best place if you want to eat something quickly. But during peak hours you need to wait in the line. It took around minutes to order the food and took more 5 minutes to get the food. They do serve to your table once you ordered your food. I ordered Bangkok curry cooked with broccoli, carrots, red pepper, onion, mushrooms, a light portion of rice noodles and with Parmesan chicken breast. Even thought the dishes on the menu are Asian style, they are not at all spicy. I felt that the quantity of food should be more for what we are paying. No issues with staff and they have large seating area. Digital soda machine with lot of varieties...heard about it but this is the time I came across.

This place is the Chipotle of noodle dishes. Similar setup, decent value, and tasty food. It succeeds in it's consistency which, as a chain, it should. If I'm in a hurry and on a budget, this is a place to which I give a solid consideration. I'm particularly fond of the Pasta Cavatappi with parmesan-crusted chicken, though it tends to not have quite enough vegetables. It's a treat, though as the pasta alone is 800 calories. Add the chicken (another 200 calories) and I have consumed half of my daily caloric intake. Keep this in mind and enjoy it on occasion.

I did not want to go here but a friend suggested it for lunch and I agreed. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. My food was actually pretty good and they have some options that are relatively healthful. I won't turn my nose up at it again next time.

Yum! This place makes Mac and cheese that is Devine beyond belief! This Mac is the best you will get in downtown Denver! It is more than clear that this Mac-and-awesomeness is at least three cheese! This place is amazing! Cool soda machines too.

Just visited this place late night shortly before they close. My take-out order was prepared pretty quick. Had to wait no more than 3-5 minutes. Staff was very friendly. Food was good, only the meatballs I had were bit cold. Maybe that's because of the late hour. Would definitely give that place another try next time I am in town.

Can't believe this place only has one review! It's a great spot to grab a quick lunch or food to go. They have noodles of all types- several Asian varieties (pad thai), several Italian varieties (penne alla rosa), and several American varieties (beef stroganoff). They've also got soups and salads. The restaurant is clean, the service is quick and friendly- give this place a try!

Anytime you come to a place for the first time you expect to get a full idea of the menu and the counter personnel was not helpful at all. I thought the setup was good and the food was very average not tasteful enough to make a second trip but thanks for experience.

I've had pleasant experiences every time I've come to this location. It's really convenient to grab a quick lunch within walking distance from the office. I usually call ahead my order so I don't have to wait in line. At peak lunch hours, the line can be pretty daunting. Their summer salads have all been good. I also like the Wisconsin Mac and Cheese (plain) and Pesto Cavatappi w/ parm crusted chicken. I'm Asian and I know of better places to get your asian noodle fix for cheaper so I tend to stay away from the Asian dishes. I occasionally treat myself to a wedge of rice crispy treat too....mmm, they are less than $2 and are HUGE. No complaints about this Noodles & Company...drop in for a visit!

My first visit to Noodles & Co. was unexpected, fun, and accommodating - My good friend won a "Tasting for 6" and I was happy to join her & some friends for a "tasting" of several dishes from this (what I would call) "casual dining" establishment. Assistant Manager Debbie gave us choices of two appetizers, which she produced quickly, then described for us. After we finished, she helped us choose some noodle dishes: Pad Thai with tofu, Truffle Mac-n-cheese, Beef Stroganof (however you spell it), Udon with Beef, and Penne with Chicken (I'm not sure about the official name). Everyone was happy with all the dishes. Our vegetarian friend liked all the noodles that weren't mixed in with meat yet, and the Pad Thai of course. I (being gluten free) loved the Pad Thai rice noodles and took bites of the meat from the other dishes, which were both great! Everyone loved the Truffle Mac and the Beef Stroganof - well, we all liked everything! To top it off, we all got either a GIANT (gooey, extra-moist) rice krispy treat or a cookie (choc chip or snickerdoodle.) YUMMM-O! So I don't normally dine out in places like this (but only cause I love cooking so much) but if I was in the mood for some quick, fresh, tasty food, I would totally come here. I know it's a place I can trust to be CLEAN, fresh, and with plenty of options for gluten free dining. Thanks Debbie for being a great hostess and THANKS MELISSA for the invite!

Got there at 11:05AM, took 15 minutes to get my grilled chicken pad thai to go with maybe 5 people in front of me. It was greasy, non-flavorful and had whole sprigs of cilantro just mixed in (the stems of cilantro are bitter to me but iono seems like you should probably rip the leaves off if you're going to cook them together and not remove the stems later). would rather wait at chipotle or somewhere that actually gives me flavorful, well thought out combinations of food. not somewhere that I get one piece of chicken on top of a pound of noodles with some carrots and tofu thrown in. guess I should have expected this from a place that does 20 different things. maybe they do mac and cheese and what not better?

Close enough to work that my co-worker and I visit often. You have to be careful what you order in general. No location has any idea wtf salt is and that to achieve a good pasta, you need to salt your water. Get the potstickers. GET THEM. They are the crown jewel of this fast food chain. And don't skrimp, get the 6 pc because you'll want more. The mac is okay..needs salt!!! Japanese pan noodles are very very sweet. Needs to be cut with an acid or Siracha. They are thick a doughy in consistency but this was my first encounter with them. Also have had the Japanese buff bowl... Not a fan. The steak used is like the same steak Taco bell uses. It's not really steak and it was pretty fatty. Good sauce though. The spaghetti needs salt. The pork sandwich is also pretty good if you like a fresh coleslaw (aka not KFC--which is my favorite. I'm a disgrace, I know.)

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
