Got such good food and karma at lunch today. My first time to (any) Native Foods Café. Blew me away with how good is was. Had the Portobello sausage burger with roasted kale and a glass of blueberry lavender lemonade for lunch (Prolly won't do the kale again--no one needs that much karma;). The burger came with caramelized onions, tomato, lettuce, mayo and creamy pumpkin seed pesto (really yumelicious). Tasted as good as a any burger I've had in a while, but all vegetarian. Couldn't believe it. Certainly a five star jewel of the lotus flower. Cheap, quick, healthy, vegetarian. Sign me one happy pseudo-Tibetan, David "Om mani padme hum" M.

My coworkers and I stopped by to eat here one evening. A few of them have dietary restrictions (hence we chose this place) and saw this cafe's Yelp page and were super excited about it. We went in with low expectations (for those of us who are not vegans/vegetarians/etc) and all left with generally positive thoughts on the food and service. I had the Chicken Bacon & Avocado Club- there's no way that I would think the 'chicken' or the 'bacon' comparable to the actual things but they made for good, if a bit weird, substitutes (remember: low expectations!!) The standout item of the meal (for EVERYONE) was the sweet potato fries. One person got it in the small size to share it around and we were all surprised at the really delicious sweet and salty taste. Another coworker immediately went to order another in the larger size! I meant to come back before our business trip was done to try more of the items but never got around to it, sadly. I'm pleased to see that there are a few locations in LA, SD and the OC but sadly none yet in the SF Bay Area. Come open a location here! There will definitely be people here that would love Native Foods! Solid 4/5.

Native Foods offers a fast casual meal atmosphere that stays true to the new social trend of eating healthy but still maintaining quality and flavorful taste! Every protein is plant based with options such as soy chicken, tofu, and wheat meat, which sounds peculiar but they blend the proteins with fresh delicious veggies and great sauces that compliment entrees really well! That being said, many of the entrees I've tried, such as the nachos and the soul bowl, have overdone it on the health aspect, partially because I am so used to the regular proteins and fattier ingredients. For that reason I recommend sticking to simpler items such as the sandwiches, the twister with buffalo sauce is my favorite, or burgers that they offer! Pair those sandwiches items with their awesome sweet potato fries as your side! Overall, Native Foods is an interesting take on healthy meals and a great choice if your on that health kick. Like I mentioned, some of their meals are a little over the top (unless your used to it) but other simpler options are incredibly tasty. For the hit or miss aspect of the menu I can't give this spot 5 stars but still definitely recommend trying it!

I loved this vegetarian place located in the mall. It's a cute little Panera style cafe with lots of booths and tables. They have a variety of meals with meat substitutes, as well as some really tasty salads. I ordered the ensalada azteca, which had avocado, pumpkin seeds, tomatoes, jicama, and quinoa. I only had to use a little of the dressing because it was flavorful enough by itself. They have a lot of fruity beverages like the watermelon fresca, which was pretty refreshing. I wish we had this cafe back in Florida.

This place was recommended by the I (heart) Denver store. I got the Chicken Bacon & Avo Club. Delicious! You have to get the watermelon fresca! Season fried were good but felt heavy against the healthy entree.

Just wanted to give a quick update since my first review. I have been to this Native Foods many times now. The service is always great. They recently changed their menu, and I am really bummed they removed the Bistro Steak Sandwich, as that was my favorite item there. I really hope it comes back! It's hard to get shaved seitan anywhere. In other news, I got the Scorpion Burger again but asked for it on ciabatta instead of the wheat bun: score! It was perfect. The one thing I really need to try now is the nachos! But I fear how many calories it might contain; I REALLY wish they had that information available!

Yes. Yes. Yes. I love Native Foods Cafe and I am so excited that there is now a store downtown! I've had just about everything on the menu... today I chose the Mexican Cobb and it was large and delicious. Today (12/9) was the grand opening for this location. I brought two carnivores with me and they enjoyed their dishes, too! They do offer online be ordering for take out which is very convenient.

I love this place! There are so many different vegan options and they aren't your typical vegan restaurant. Everytime I am in town, I have to go here at least once. I love their bowls and their desserts! Even their drinks are tasty. You order up at the counter and they give you a number to take to a table. Prices are reasonable and the hardest part is deciding what to eat.

I was looking for a place to eat a late lunch and randomly found this gem! I was greeted by the colorful decor and a friendly and knowledgeable staff member that explained their restaurant concept. Every single item on the menu is cooked with plant-based ingredients. All of their drinks (teas and fair trade coffee) are homemade (the strawberry lemonade was absolutely delicious!) I ordered their nachos and added guac. Portion size was very decent. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients- black beans, corn, fresh salsa, guac, hummus, cashew nut cheese (very nice consistency), green onions and fresh jalapenos (I liked how they were thinly sliced). I definitely recommend this place and will be returning next time I'm in town.

Such good food and I'm not even vegan! Tastes like chicken, their watermelon tea with basil in it (yum), and they have awesome service! Hot and ready! The only hiccup is its so darn expensive. Understandably though just because it takes a lot to prepare good for you food! Visit this place and get their membership card as you can get free desserts and $10 on your bday FREE!

Excellent food (I had the Japanese sesame bites and scorpion burger). Flavors were fresh and vibrant. For vegans this is a must try, but I would recommend this to anyone looking for a healthy and flavorful meal.
