Thought I might be coming across a hidden gem here, easily one of the worst burritos I have ever had. Ordered the sausage breakfast burrito - hot. It had a weird, sweet taste to it, and the spice tasted like some kind of yucky, off the shelf, canned Tabasco or something. It is not often that I throw half a burrito in the trash.

This hidden gem off of colorado blvd has a great breakfast burrito, I ordered mine smother with green chilli cheese and it was delicious. Very unique flavor. Been back a few times and would also highly recommend the kookoo.

I had a delicious breakfast at this little hole in the wall in a strip mall along Colorado Blvd this morning. It's not hard to miss but it's a door or two north of House of Kebob and the opposite end from Damascus Restaurant (not an endorsement, I've never been to either). I had the Caspian Scramble and it was delicious. I will return. It's a quiet place on a Wednesday morning to read my snail-mail, newspaper and email (it has free Wi-Fi). My coffee cup was always full and my pace slow, but the service was prompt and courteous and I wasn't rushed.

This place makes a solid, tasty breakfast burrito. The outside is nothing special; a semi rundown looking storefront in a strip mall along S. Colorado; the inside mirrors that lack of special...but the owner? He's pretty cool...he wants to do well, and if you engage him, he will actually talk quite a bit about how he wants people to have good dining experiences here. I think all restaurant owners want that, but maybe not a lot say it so openly, vulnerably, honestly. His place is pretty stripped down to bare essentials, and he often just runs the place himself - I don't know how he affords the rent, but hopefully he's at least making a living and not bleeding out. Because his food's worth it. My friend and I both had breakfast burritos; my friend had the standard with chorizo and I had the "meat lovers" with about 4-5 different meats in. Friend loved the crispness of the vegetables. Both of us declined smothered burritos which was $2 extra, seemed a bit pricey for the location and for what may have been a can of Stokes warmed up and spooned on; but we did spring for the .50 green chiles inside. It was not a monstrously long or thick burrito, but it did the job and was pretty tasty. Friend's final consensus was overall he thought his was average, but I liked mine. So I'm giving this guy 4 stars for his efforts and his food. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a "hidden gem", but this is also my 1st time eating here. Good to know of a decent breakfast place a few blocks from where I live (just south of Crown Burger).

Oh my gosh was this yummy! In a little hole in the wall on S. Colorado Blvd., I would never have expected to find the scrumptious fare that I did! I had the breakfast burrito, spiced "hot", with chorizo and smothered. For about $6.50 this was about the best thing I've had in 20 years. The burrito was made fresh to order. I could hear him making it just past the counter. What made it so special was that there was a perfect dice of onions, bell peppers and tomatoes -crunchy and fresh -inside with the delicious eggs and chorizo. The salsa and sauce used to smother the burrito had a delicious flavor. This really was a great Burrito!! Also the coffee was so good I asked about it and the proprietor told me that he mixes several coffees together -just like my mom! Really nice breakfast I will be back here often. Above and beyond!

So much potential, but could use some better management.

I was not happy with my experience here. There was no one else but me in restaurant. Owner or person waiting tables served me. Didn't go out of way to greet me or ask if I had questions or anything. Was an awkward experience and I ended up throwing away my burrito and went to panera for a bagel. Sad to say because other yelpers had different experiences. However, my experience was poor and I won't go back.

Ugh... Extensive use of microwave. Spare yourself the pain of a terrible meal. The breakfast burrito was just atrocious. Tortilla was like dry pasta, clearly the result of having been microwaved. Furthermore the insides were scalding hot, again undeniable proof of mircowave use. As if there was any doubt, having heard the constant beeping sound coming from the back. And the "green chile" sauce had some oregano or wierd spice in it, not appropriate for a breakfast burrito. Just buy a frozen burro from the grocery store. You will feel better about yourself, I promise. The truth is hard sometimes, like a microwaved tortilla.

First time using Yelp. Not sure how reliable this service is. Was looking for someplace good for breakfast. Chose this place for four star rating. Chain restaurants such as IHOP, VI, Perkins are showing three stars so I figure four is better. Nope. Powder creamer for coffee. Limited menu. Food good, but the other three star choices are superior in my opinion. So I don't get the four stars.

The honey chai tea latte is so, so good. Food took a little bit to prepare, but was worth the wait.

Yeah, OK, I was rooting for it to be good. But the truth is that the breakfast burrito was as good as I've had in a decade. The proprietor wasn't exactly talkative, but he served up my food promptly and was attentive throughout.

I was in the neighborhood frequenting one of my favorite used book stores (The Book Rack) and happened upon this place buried in a strip mall on South Colorado Blvd. It is a small clean little place. I ditto what Cora R said "Their idea of smothered with green chili was tomato sauce with canned green chilies on top." I ordered the regular breakfast burrito with bacon and smothered with green chili cheese. It was a good size for the price. It was OK but a little heavy on the black pepper.

My wife comes here every week. The food and the service is great. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast or lunch.

I am a fan of their breakfast burritos. granted they are not the cheapest, but boy are they good! We got bacon and chorizo and were not disappointed in the slightest. I will definately go again.

So I have driven by this place more than a few times and something about it always made me think it could be a hidden gem. The place is small and not sure how busy they get, but we were the only people in there. The way it was set up looked like they do a lot of to-go orders, but you can dine in as well. There was only one man there and he served us and cooked the food as well. My boyfriend and I both ordered the regular breakfast burrito smothered in the green chile cheese sauce. Our cook/server informed us that the green chile cheese sauce was made in house and it was great, I do recommend it. Now the breakfast burrito was so refreshing, I loved it. So so good! It had lots of fresh veggies and you could get it spicy if you like, which is important to me. (I usually choose spicy stuff or whip out the chalula in my purse). I agree with Emil S that it had a different taste than a mexican influenced breakfast burrito. Ordering just the breakfast burrito was just the right amount, enough to fill you up for the day, but not enough for you to go overboard and hate yourself later. I totally am into restaurants that don't feel the need to serve monstrous portions. Try this place, for breakfast or lunch!

I try very hard to eat local and support small business, but this tiny "cafe" (4 tables, two sad beaten booths) just doesn't have anything to offer. I believe the owner was Indian/middle eastern and I wished that his menu reflected that a little better. The sign on the street said breakfast burritos and more! Seriously, don't order the burrito, especially not smothered if you do happen to wander in here. Their idea of smothered with green chili was tomato sauce with canned green chilies on top. Just say no.

This is a breakfast-and-lunch cafe that serves really tasty food. It's located near the north end of the lot that has the middle eastern restaurants Damascus and Marrakech in it. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito, which is pleasantly spicy. It has a fresh flavor that's distinctly different from what you would get at a Mexican restaurant. The kookoo is also delicious -- a omelet sandwich with a home made yogurt sauce.
