I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food here! I felt very taken care of. You are given a pitcher of water for your table (convenient) and, if you choose to get some coffee, you get a pitcher of that as well! I choose the le petit - two pieces of French toast with a side of bacon (which I substituted for sausage). It came with fresh spiced strawberries, butter, and warm syrup. So simple, but delicious. The rest of the menu looked promising - will definitely be back!

Always a consistent and tasty breakfast. Great service to boot as well! Love this place:)

Service was great. The veggie Benedict was what they were known for, and was one of the best I've ever encountered. Puts Eggs Florentine from any other restaurant to shame. Reasonable pricing as well.

If you're looking for an upgraded version of Denny's, this is your place. It specializes in breakfast, but has other options too. The egg sandwich, which is delicious, is around $5, but most everything else is around $10 or more. They give you your own coffee pot too, which certainly helps.

I was expecting something really exotic and tasty when I went to Le Peep. First thing I noticed was how expensive it is for basic eggs and toast at this place but I figured maybe they will give you huge portions. I was wrong, when they gave me my plate, I was more than just disappointed. The plate presentation was awful, the food took up like 30% of the huge plate they gave me and I was left hungry. Fortunately, the meal did come with huge pancakes which was nice. I will never come back to Le Peep when other places like Village Inn serves much better food for much better price. Good: pancakes and gourmet coffee. Bad: Price, food portions, and location.

It's alright for a breakfast type of diner. The stuffed french toast is wonderful yet its more than a tad on the pricey side. Le Peep does offer meals of larger sizes to appease even the largest of appetites. The decor is dated and uninteresting and the seating is stiff. The cleanliness of Le Peep was commendable although the service was slow due to what seemed like a lack of hired help. While this is not on my list of places to recommend first, I wouldn't be opposed to returning.

The service here was everything I'd come to expect from visiting other Le Peep locations. Delicious pancakes, plenty of coffee, and a friendly server. Yes, parking was a bit difficult and the seating was cramped, but that kind of just goes with the location. We had a great breakfast, went shopping at the Safeway right across the parking lot, and had an easy time exiting the parking lot thanks to the traffic lot. No complaints. I would note that I don't know how handicapped people could get into this place. You have to go down a set of stairs to get into the restaurant. Just FYI.

If you love green chili smothered breakfast burritos, you need to try LePeep's! I only went here because it was nearby and I love their french vanilla coffee which is the same price as regular coffee. I've never been a big fan of their "peasant potatoes" and I usually go out to Mexican restaurants for the Sat/Sun hangover. I was definitely impressed because I didn't expect good green chili at a non-Mexican restaurant. Their green chili is so good, I almost ordered a pint to go. Their breakfast burrito with chorizo smothered in green chili was HUGE and you could definitely share it. My companion ordered some monte cristo crepe thing and he said he wouldn't order it again. And last time we went there, I had some Mexican breakfast (forgot what it was called) that was good, but his again wasn't great. So unfortunately, we probably won't go there again unless I go with someone else. Oh- I almost forgot to mention that the service is excellent; it feels like a family-owned vibe with happy servers. I was happy to tip more than 30% and I usually tip 20% no matter what.

This place was fabulous! My boyfriend and I would always go to the IHOP right across the parking lot, but one particular day it was packed. We noticed this little place and decided to check it out. And I'm so glad we did! The prices are comparable to IHOP, but everything tastes better here because it seems that the chefs take their time and put in extra effort. They had a "Spring Menu" full of temporary specials when we went in, and I guess they rotate their specials with the seasons. This place is cozy and the staff is extremely friendly. I wish there were more open locations. I recommend this place for breakfast all the time!

When I lived in boulder 15 years ago I use to love Le Peep. I'm pretty sure this will be my last visit, at least to this location. This is my second visit to the Colorado and Mexico location and they were both bad experiences. The only thing that was warm was the coffee and it's not good anyway. Cold eggs, cold French toast, cold potatoes, and cold turkey sausage. Rough way to start the day.

The service started out great however after our food was delivered to the table our server never checked back to ask if everything was satisfactory. The food seemed like it came from a plastic bag straight out of the freezer. I would assume a restaurant specializing in breakfast / lunch could manage to use fresh ingredients prepared with some sort of character and love, but no. Bland, mushy, and dry.

    (2)
  • Rachel C.

The decor is a bit dated. If the intent was to make it look like a diner, they've achieved that end. Service was spot on; we were greeted right away and seated. Our server, Carlos, greeted us promptly, was always patient and pleasant. I had the corn breakfast tacos with chorizo off the gluten free menu, and asked for a third taco. I'm just sated, so the portion could be slightly larger. Everything was tasty, however, and fresh.

I've been going here for a couple years. It's few blocks from my place, so location is a plus. The food is always good and the service is usually very good. The people are friendly and there is a water carafe at the table with glasses when we sit down. The water is key since we live in a high altitude desert and extra hydrating is like breathing out here...a requirement. The big parking lot is free, though because the restaurant is below a popular yoga studio, you may have to park a few aisles out.

Good food and good service when I have gone. Omelets were excellent and so was the coffee. Only complaint was the peasant potatoes were not very good.

Le Peep - Le Breakfast, Le Brunch, Le Lunch Le Peep - we can always count on this place. Excellent prices, excellent food, excellent service, always crowded! Clean, inviting, comfortable, can be a bit noisy, based upon who is there, but this is easily overlooked. Parking - a parking lot - YES! NEVER Disappointed! NEVER! We are regulars too! See you there!

Walked in, sat down, ordered coffee and water, waited 5-10 min, no one ever came, got up and left. I even tried to get someone's attention. Then I went to IHOP.

I am not a huge Le Peep fan. For whatever reason all their food always seems OK to good. Never great, never interesting. I didn't pick this spot for lunch with some old work pals, but it worked well enough. It is easily access off the highway and sits in the bottom floor of a shopping plaza. It is a basement type place, although there are windows everywhere. All tables, no booths. We had good service and I really liked the Banana Walnut Pancakes, however the sausage was overcooked. It was OK, but really how hard is breakfast? A bit cramped and uninspired. I will vote for somewhere else next time!

I just had one of the worst breakfast experiences of my life. I've been to other Le Peeps and was hopeful this location on Colorado would be as good as the others (such as the Le Peep restaurant in Boulder). HARDLY. As soon as we sat down they began mopping the welcoming area, contaminating the entire restaurant with the potent smell of bleach. Hardly appetizing and in fact, it made me nauseous. Even if the food had been stupendous --- which WOW, it really was NOT --- I wouldn't have been able to taste it given the overpowering smell of bleach. Hey, I know you guys leave at 2pm (it was 1:30pm)...but do you really have to bust out the chemical cleaners when you have full tables within six feet of the mop bucket? POOR SHOW. Saying this restaurant is run down is kind. It looked clean I guess, but I wouldn't wager money on it. I ordered the Wanderer skillet and my companion had the french toast. The skillet was AWFUL and I mean AWFUL. People, it's HARD for me to use the word AWFUL in a Yelp review...but it WAS. The potatoes were so overcooked they were hard and chewy and they almost broke my teeth. The cheese was hard and tasteless and the whole dish was woefully under-seasoned. It's obvious the ingredients had been sitting around for some time before they decided to graciously serve them to me. My companion's french toast was almost white, it was so undercooked, and her side of sausage was just this side of cold. Again ... JUST VERY, VERY BAD. Obviously if SOME Le Peeps are great while THIS location is so terrible...it's a management issue, or else the owners aren't keeping adequate tabs. PLEASE START. Because whoever runs this location needs to be reminded what good food really is, and how to serve it in a pleasant environment. You guys know me, I'll give a place five stars more readily than four; it takes a lot to gross me out. This place did it, though. If I could give it zero stars, you best believe I would.

We had a coupon, and we were broke...hungover & hungry so off we went. I knew it wasn't the best idea we ever had, and I couldn't have been more right. I have been here a time or two before when I first moved to the hood, but hadn't been back for a long time. I won't be returning, no matter how great the coupon is or how hungover I am. The service is poor. The place feels dirty. The coffee is weak. The food's pretty bad. I had some egg dish, a scramble of some sort, with broccoli and mushrooms and cheese. The veggies were not fresh. I wonder if they even use real eggs. The dish was watery and soggy. The portion was small. I had about 6 potatoes on my plate that were cold. I do like the banana split, but I can whip that up in my kitchen on any given day, and have much fresher ingredients. Hate to give bad reviews, but there's just no way to sugar coat this one.

This is a nice place to eat a quiet breakfast. We were promptly seated and I had my iced tea within seconds. I chose the Omni Omelet which was good and full of meat and vegetables. The potatoes were a little dry and somewhat bland and I thought they could have used something like onion and peppers to brighten them up. I asked for a substitution for the toast and requested tomato slices. She brought me two thin slices of unripe tomatoes. Two slices! Apparently there is a tomato shortage I am unaware of. Still, it was a great place to chat and dawdle over a meal. The pace was relaxing and I enjoyed being able to hear what my friends were saying without a lot if interruption. Plus the server kept my tea glass filled which is always great.

  • Tricia W.

This is a fairly mediocre breakfast place. Meh...- that's mostly how I feel. It is my last resort when I don't get myself organized for a Sunday breakfast until 11am, usually the wait isn't too bad and the food and coffee are solid.

  • Joshua S.

I really enjoyed La Peeps. It was pretty empty and we were seated promptly. Nice and friendly staff. I had the breakfast burrito with bacon. It was amazing! The green chili sauce was phenomenal. Nothing you'd expect at a brunch diner. The serving was huge! Well worth the $10. My wife had the Monte Cristo with waffle. She enjoyed it, definitely not that best she's had. If I'm in the area and craving a breakfast burrito I'll definitely stop in.

DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION! I love the Le Peep in Boulder, so I assumed (wrongly) that I would have an equal experience at this location. I ordered a benedict, and it was so disgustingly put together, the egg was not poached (as a benedict is supposed to be) but was an underdone attempt at poaching. The hollandaise was a gross mess (looked much too yellow for hollandaise) and looked like it had been sitting out for days. The cream cheese was glopped (think huge gross scoop in the middle) of the english muffin. Overall unappetizing and I could barely take a bite. The interior feels old, dirty, and sticky. The bathrooms were smelly, unclean and run down.

I waited 8 months to check this place out because it's grocery store strip mall appeal. The place was actually really clean. The food is better than Ihop or those chain grease slingers. The portions are huge. If your plate comes with apple cinnamon cup, leave it alone. The fruit on the waffles was fresh, and they send out juice in a frosty mug. It's a nice touch.

Good: pancakes and gourmet coffee. Bad: Price, food portions, and location.
