There is 3 other locations of Las Fajitas in denver...this location is the newest of all....each is own by one of the brothers I was told. Upon walking in...we were sat right away...1:30pm on a Friday afternoon. ..there were 4 other tables of patrons, so that is a good sign. The server was fast with our drinks and he also brought us chip and salsa. We order the combination 3 and 4....food were fast and hot...flavor were great too in all the burrito enchiladas and bf tacos. Overall, nice established. ..we will be back soon...only thing is need music...too quiet...also don't have all 3 TV on the same channel.....good job

Took a chance coming here and was pleasantly surprised! The exterior needs a lot of work (our waiter informed us they've only been there for a month), but the interior is warm and inviting. You'll start with free chips and salsa while browsing the extensive if a little standard menu. I grabbed the breakfast burrito. It's a decent chunk of food, maybe a hair on the dry side, but still good. My brother got and liked the tacos al carbon and liked them. I'll likely explore the menu a bit more before settling on some favorites. They also told us a liquor license is forthcoming, as is a M-F 3-6 half price appetizers and margaritas happy hour, so something to look forward to!

The only Mexican food that is good in Denver. The portions are huge and the food has authentic flavor. The only reason I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars is because the ambiance of the restaurant isn't very charming. The staff is very kind and quick!!

Pleased to discover Las Fajitas was now in our neighborhood. We have enjoyed the shredded beef burritos & fajitas at their location on S. Havana St. for many years. Downgraded the Evans location one star for the loud mechanical noise coming from the cooking area. It makes dining at this location painful to us and civil conversation impossible. They recently added music, perhaps in an attempt to cover the mechanical noise? All hard surfaces adds to the noise level. What's with the 3 video screens with no captions? We'll continue to drive to the S. Havanna location....no screens and reasonable noise level.

Second time my wife and I have eaten here. Second time we have loved it. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was one of the best I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be having that again. This visit my wife had the menudo which she raved about. We got a tip the posole is also amazing so looks like we'll be coming back for that as well. The service is always amazing, everyone is extremely friendly and although we've never been there when the place is packed there has never been much of a wait. Friendly people and good food, can't beat that. We'll be back for more!

My husband and I like to come for happy hour! 1/2 price apps and I enjoy their margaritas. Always great food that never fails at an excellent price. I've liked the Aurora location for years and this one is just as delicious! Yummy!

Terrific! I've eaten there three times. Superb menudo. Really good guacamole salad. Wonderful cheese and onion enchiladas. Food on the mild side but the salsa with they can make it hotter if you ask.

I was thrilled to find this place a few blocks from my house. The frozen margarita was excellent and they have options for vegetarians: red chili, jalapeño cream cheese sauce (great on chili relleno) and black beans. Oh...and the kids loved the churos!!

We ate lunch there on Sunday. We've driven by it millions of times without noticing but it's is worth finding. The food was wonderful! Fresh, authentic. I got a cheese enchilada, carne asada taco and a ground beef taco. The taco ground beef was a little too greasy but the carne asada taco was to die for. Lots of desserts. We had the fried ice cream which was beautiful and delicious. We'll be regulars for sure.

I like the food here and have tried the breakfast burrito, carne asada burrito, chicken fajitas, chili cheese fries, tacos al carbon and, the taco salad. My two biggest frustrations were that the taco shell was not fresh but premade and when I tried it, it had a taste of cleaner. I called them to let them know but there was a language barrier so the next time I went in I advised but still a language barrier. My second frustration is the pricing. The a la cart tacos are priced very high and the portion is very small. Two chicken and one steak tacos al carbon costed 12.49 (excluding tip for take out). They were very small and came with a SINGLE tortilla. For that price I wouldve gotten the delicious fajitas for 3 dollars more and made a huge amount of tacos. The food is great and the service is friendly just a little pricey.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
