I'm really bummed by this one. First, I was told by someone that this place was legit. Which it could be but it was a let-down. First, the pros. Good fries. So many burger joints just throw some soggy potatoes out there and call them fries so I was very pleased with these. Crispy and salty, perfectly cooked and seasoned for my tastes. Yummy. Nothing to dip them in, though. No flavored mayonnaise or extra burger sauce. Bummer. The burger toppings were okay. Love a big red onion so I was happy to see it. Just a plain burger with plain toppings, though. Okay, so a superb burger would shine here. So, the cons. The burger wasn't superb. Ordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly. The problem? These aren't hand-formed. They're put into some kind of form or press and they are WAY too dense because of it. Hard. Doesn't have that beautiful toothfulness yet give a hand-formed burger has. Had a kind of hockey puck feel to it. And look. Disappointing. And it was WAY too salty. Now, I'm a salt fiend so that's saying something. I added pepper jack cheese and bacon. Now, without the pickles (that come one it) and the bacon maybe it would have been okay. But if you're going to offer bacon as an add, you have to adjust the seasonings accordingly. And pickles come on it! So reduce the salt already. Disappointing, overall. Flavors were all there so a shame that such small things pull their product down. I won't be back. There are too many AMAZING burger joints in Denver to settle for this.

They make a great burger--much better than your typical fast-food fare. It does take a while longer, but quality is worth the wait. The burgers are cooked a little on the rarer side than normal, so you may want to go up a level from what you usually request. Be sure to get the truffle fries!

2.5 Stars. Larkburger is one of those places that I keep hearing about, but never get to because it's nowhere near me. Well, one finally opened mere blocks from my house, so I figured it was time I made it. Larkburger, like places like Pink Berry, tries to set itself apart with distinctive style-natural wood interior design, unique burgers and sandwiches, etc. It's a pretty flashy presentation, and it definitely makes you feel like you're not just eating at any old burger place. I went with their original Larkburger, some fries, and their hand squeezed lemonade. I asked for ketchup on my burger, only to find out they don't add condiments on burgers so I would have to get ketchup packets. Uh...what? You won't put ketchup on it? Call me crazy, but that's a bit silly. Now granted, I was there at the dinner rush, but my food took quite a long time-at least 15 minutes. So naturally, I was bummed when I got home (a 2 minute drive), took my burger out, and it wasn't even hot anymore-that was fast. The burger tasted pretty good, but I think Smashburger and Five Guys are both miles, miles better. I felt the same about their fries-they were very "meh". And here's the thing-it was $11 for the whole meal, and that was not worth $11. $7, maybe, but definitely not $11. I really just felt like I had wasted my money, because the wait and the quality of food was not on par with the price. I might give Larkburger another try, but I was definitely disappointed.

Visiting from out of town and stopped by based on Yelp reviews. Food was delicious and the proprietor takes a lot of pride in his food. Burger was delicious and juicy even when ordered well done. Truffle fries were fantastic, though a little salty for my taste. All in all a great meal and good experience! I would definitely recommend

The hamburger and fries tasted like the salt bottle was dumped on them. Not going back.

Food is really good, but you have to order everything item by item. You have to order the burger, then you order the fries, then you order the drink. You can't order a combo is basically what I'm saying. The food is really, really tasty but the portions aren't the same every time you go. Sometimes you can order one thing of fries and it's enough for two people. Next time you order a thing of fries and you barely get enough for one person. The drink machine is one of those new coke dispensers that lets you mix and match, add different flavors to your drink...you know the one with the buttons on the screen. Anyways the place is really nice and I think it's worth at least one trip. If you really like the food I say come back, but since the food is a tad more pricey then you might expect, if you feel you didn't get your money's worth then I wouldn't return. That being said my wife and I have gone at least 4 times and only once did I walk away still feeling a bit hungry/disappointed. But more good then bad overall!

On the way to grocery shop and was too hungry to not stop first and grab lunch (we all know how dangerous it is to shop on an empty stomach) so we went into Lark Burger. I've never been before but heard great things. Walking in, I noticed how clean the restaurant was. A little cold, but not too uncomfortable. Immediately we were greater by who we later learned was the GM named David. We were laughing and enjoying ourselves as soon as he greeted us. He helped us navigate through the menus for whole 30 compliant options. We loved our burger wrapped in lettuce. Perfectly cooked and deliciously flavor. Yum! We weren't able to order fries cause the potatoes are cooked with canola oil. It would be great if companies like lark burger offered sugar free dressings/sauces and healthier fat/ oil options. I noticed they make it easy to do gluten free/ dairy free which is really nice! The next step in health is all natural sauces!

Yum-o I've come in twice and I'm sure I will again. I love their style and look to begin with. Add in their better ingredient dishes and cool drink machine and I'm set. I had their chicken burger the first time, great, and then the BLT the second time. Even better! I also got their edemames both times which I love instead of boring fries. Check this place out!!

Best fries in town, and gotta love the option of big or small burgers. Try the turkey burger. Love this place!

The manager, David, made sure my friends and I had everything we needed and the entire staff were friendly and awesome! The food was of course delicious and the environment clean and welcoming. I had a great beer with my burger and recommend this place. Excellent!!

Sometimes I get a hankering for a burger and nothing else will do. Enter Lark Burger! Delicious. Be forewarned that they cook on the rare side so if you usually order medium, order medium well. I've been three times and the first time, I ordered a medium and it was rare. The fries are delicious too. I recommend these burgers!

This place was amazing. I went here to eat for the first time since I don't work too far away, and was immediately greeted by the manager, David. He was so happy and cheerful and very fun to speak with. He I mentioned it was my first time there and he went through all the options with me as well and his recommendations. On top of that, he gave me free fries and drink for my first visit. The food was quickly delivered to my table after. I had ordered a Larkburger and was very happy that I did after my first bite. The burger was cooked very well and the taste was incredible. The house sauce that they put on it was very good. As for the fries, they were amazing also. Definitely one of my top places for fries. This place tastes great, looks great, and has great people. Will definitely be coming by for lunch again soon.

Time : 17:35hrs Hmmm, Larkburger, Larkburger, Denver, CO 80222 Location... YES, they have a PATIO outside, but I just want to seat inside coz of the "heat" outside. YES you order at the counter. You wait for your order since the host at that evening her name is Isolina. We go thru the Menu and order these items : * My order of LARKBURGER ($5.95) Add Pepper Jack Cheese ($0.75) * Hubs Order of Truffle Burger ($6.95) Add Pepper Jack Cheese ($0.75) * Truffle & Parmesan Fries ($3.00) * LARGE Fountain Drinks (2 @$1.90) ($3.80) Subtotal : $21.20 Tax : $1.70 Total expenditure that evening was $22.90 ORDER NO : 97 We specifically request our Burger orders to be WELL-DONE. @17:54hrs : We waited quite abit for our order to be ready. When one of the server gave us the tray of food, he just put it on our table. NOT even telling us, which burger is which burger etc etc. Even the container that holds the burger is not indicated with anything at all. Hence Hubs, bring the tray of food to our Host, Isolina and asked her... One Burger patty look bigger than the other one. Even she does not know which is which. We cannot tell which is which let alone the taste of it. *Double Sigh* Hubs and I are quite disappointed with our visit. To pay that kind of amount for Burger and Fries, it DOES NOT WOW us at all. Remember each item if you need or want to be added to your BURGER, the amount you pay will DEFINITELY add up. MAYBE, the cost of food and all the biodegradable products they used for their restaurants, everything ADDED Up aka the cost. Maybe this visit was isolated but since we wanted to go next door and it was closed on LABOR DAY : September 2nd 2013, Larkburger was the next choice. *Big Bummer* *Big Disappointment* To return, maybe, BUT DEFINITELY NOT in a hurry. Left Larkburger, Denver, CO 80222 Location @ 18:15hrs. The ONLY thing that catch my eye fancy, was the Fountain Drink Dispenser which are SO HIGH TECH, that I told Hubs I want one for our household! New to the area and have been trying the local chains... After trying the slotted spoon already we decided to toss a bone at Larkburger. First, the burger was amazing and so were the truffle fries. Try the fries with mayo, you won't regret it. However, the 3 star rating was due to a horrible "shake". We received our order after waiting for 10 minutes, totally fine we were in no rush. But when we received the shake, as they called it.... It was nothing more than chocolate soft serve in a cup. The swirl gave it away. If I wanted soft serve I would have asked for your chocolate ice cream but I asked for a shake. The grainy consistency of this once powdered frozen dessert left much to be desired even for soft serve. How can a burger place screw up a shake so bad. Your burgers were amazing, invest in making a decent shake!

This one is kinda hard to find. Google wasn't much help saying across from King Soopers and theirs no signage on the street to let you know where its at either. Once you do find it. Its bright and well planned out with lots of booths and high top tables. You can see into the Kitchen, the Menu is nice and well thought out. Its clean and the employees are friendly. I thought Truffles were just Truffles. Didn't know they were apart of the mushroom family. And i was going to go with the standard lark burger. But after trying the truffle aioli sauce I went with the Truffle Lark Burger Medium well as I always get it with Regular fries. The burger and I know a good burger was moist and delicious without being over greasy. And the truffle sauce was a perfect compliment especially since it came void of pickles. The fries are always the perfect portion just enough but not to much to over fill you up. They do have Wifi but i couldn't figure out how to get it to work after making the connection. The food is Definitely 5 stars. But i deducted one for getting lost because its hidden.

We come here fairly regularly, but it never occurred to me to write a review until tonight. To put it simply, we LOVE Larkburger - esp. this location. Great food, excellent service. The manager, David is great. He and his staff are very personable and accommodating and they take good care of the customer. The fam and I just went this evening (kids eat free on Mondays - woop woop!) and were very pleased to see David at the register waiting to greet us. However, as soon as we were about to order, he had to excuse himself to take care of a small issue in the kitchen - no big deal at all, but he was very apologetic about the wait and gave us some complimentary fountain drinks for our trouble. Not necessary, but so nice. Free.99 is always good in my books. Once we got our order, he made sure to come by our table to check on us to make sure everything was good. This place is very consistent. We've never had a bad experience and the little extras in customer service go a long way. If you're in the area, definitely support local business and check them out!

I wanted 1 more visit before I locked down a verdict; well, I did that yesterday. Larkburger is an amazing place to devour grilled animal flesh on buns, or treat yourself to "what's so great about shoestring f--OHIGETITNOW :O" "epiphany" fries. I've only been twice, but I don't see that stopping. David, the manager at this location, is a tightly wound ball of energy that loves to spring forth and keep his customers happy -- this guy's pic should be next to the phrase "great customer service". He goes out of his way to apologize for meals that are "late" in arriving, even though they seem perfectly fine to me (not to me; to at least 3 people when I was last in). His team rocks it on the grill too. I had the chicken burger the 1st time with a friend on a 2 for 1 deal (Living Social?). Because we mentioned that first, but then dragged the waitstaff along a 3-4 min question barrage afterwards on various sammies, they spaced out granting us the BOGO deal. My friend found this out a few days later. No problem -- *eyes you, jerks thumb upwards* -- that guy took care of it. I have to say the truffle fries here are amazing. They are salty. But not ridiculously so. They are shoestring style, sometimes a little limp, and you might wonder "well how good are these going to be?" They're good like finding a $100 bill in some jeans you haven't worn for a few weeks. Yeah. :) Do yourself a favor and don't order the small; you get a much better deal with the "large" (which is just average size, but with a sammie fills the belly quite nicely). So if anyone asks me what my favorite fries place is now, I'm gonna say they have to quantify that further -- waffle, crinkle cut, etc -- but this place takes the shoestring crown and slam dunks it. The chicken burger is super flavorful -- very nice fillet, and the jalapeño and cilantro/chipotle sauce really make it "pop" on the tastebuds. You'll devour it with gusto. I had a free coupon (again, thumbs upward towards the background behind this) for any burger and so I splurged on the most expensive option yesterday: the ahi tuna burger. The "small" is at 5.50, but the regular is a huge almost $4 leap up from that. Again, cilantro along with the wasabi-ginger dressing helps bring out the flavor of the tuna fillet -- I asked for mine med-rare and they nailed it -- but a really special treat is to wrap all that in bacon. It's thick cut here, and *soooooo* good. Worth the $1.50 extra. Do yourself a favor and explore here if you like a casual, somewhat-upscale (in sandwiches) dining experience. The food will leave you happy, the customer service puts a bow on your experience.

First of all The guy working the counter (David) is awesome. He explained everything on the menu in detail. The food was delicious and they use high quality ingredients. Definitely try the Parmesan truffle fries. I'd definitely come back here again!

Okay I have been wanting to try this place for a while..... They don't have individual meal options I really didn't like that I like that it's a gluten-free place and they also have a non-dairy bun.... So I ordered the lark burger the burger was a decent size but it taste like something that I can make at home.... It was seasoned with the little pepper and some salt I had ordered it with pepper jack cheese I couldn't taste the cheese at all....... What I could taste are the Parmesan fries those are definitely great so I guess if you're looking for a healthier burger option this is the place to go......

I go to Larkburger on Colorado practically every Wednesday for lunch. I place my order online before I go, and it's always waiting for me when I arrive. The employees at this location are so friendly and funny & have always gotten my order right, down to the "protein style" because of my wheat allergy. The burgers are delicious and cooked to a perfect temperature... not charcoaled to death. Burgers & fries are pretty much my all time favorite food, and I have never once been disappointed by Larkburger!

I had lunch here earlier this week. I had the Larkburger with cheddar and minus the house sauce (I do not like mayo-based sauces on burgers), as well as the Truffle and Parm Fries and iced tea. The burger was quite good. It was juicy, tasty, and cooked the way I ordered it (medium). All of the toppings were fresh (lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle) and crisp. The fries were pretty tasty, but a little salty. Also, I'm not a big fan of those thin, shoestring type fries so I may skip those next time. The iced tea from the dispenser tasted fresh and like iced tea. You order at the counter and they give you a tracking device to put on your table and one of the staff brings your order to you when it's ready. Drinks, condiments, and utensils are self-serve. The only thing I didn't like about the experience was the starkness of the restaurant itself. The walls are light wood paneling and the floor, tables, seating are white. But it was clean and clean looking. (BTW, clean bathroom, too.)

This is my neighborhood LarkBurger. I love the wood on the wall, the modern furnishings and the light feel of the place. I feel like I have discovered the secret of the LarkBurger. I think the secret is to go deluxe. The chicken lark is delicious, with the fried jalepenos and veggies. So yum. When I have gotten the regular burger its always just good, but not amazing. However when I have gotten their specialty burgers or other sandwiches they have been great. They have happy hour from 4-6: 2.00 beer or shakes. The shakes are fantastic and beer us canned new belgium. I hope they are working on getting drafts.

Best chicken sandwich EVER!! Came with crispy jalapenos, a creamy chipotle sauce, and fresh cilantro. It was the perfect size too - not overly gigantic like a lot of sandwiches/burgers. The fries were good too. I'll definitely be coming back to try some of the other options, but the chicken sandwich is a must!!

Came here with the roomies after a longish night out - they were craving burgers. I ordered the Kale Salad with the Seared Ahi Tuna. Twas alright. I don't normally use dressing, but there wasn't much in the flavor department going on here so I poured it all on. It still was a little on the bland side so I asked for a side of BBQ (it was fresh, I just was craving a bit more). THEY DON'T HAVE BBQ. I think I would've given them 4 stars were it not for this small little fact. How do you make hamburgers and not carry BBQ sauce?! I'm still a little distraught...

Not as good as the Boulder or Broomfield stores. I've been here 3 times now, and every time something was a off. First time, I ordered a fresh squeezed lemonade. My food came out, but no lemonade! I had to remind them to make it, and got it 5 min later. Fries also way overcooked and oversalted, and usually I love Lark fries. Second time, I ordered bacon on my burger. I say ordered, and not received, because the bacon wasn't there. Fries again were over salted to the point of inedible. Third, and perhaps my last time because there are much better options in the area, I got a Little Lark, not feeling as hungry as usual. Medium okay? Yeah, perfect, love the medium. Welll, that's not what I got. Ended up with a burger a sliver away from well done. On a little lark, this makes it more like a greasy cardboard slick. Add to it the very overcooked fries, and grumpy senior clientele and I doubt I'll be making a return to this particular location. And I was so happy to have a Lark so close after leaving my job in Boulder. I would skip this location, other locations for Lark are much better.

My wife and I live about a mile or so from this Larkburger location - and do our grocery shopping, dry cleaning, elixir purchasing, post officing and office supplying in this center - so we were happy to see the open. The "but" is that there seems to be so many "X-burger" and "Y-burger" and "A-burger" and "B-burger" joints all over the place that it took us a while to try Larkburger. After all, a burger is a burger, right? Nope. Tonight was our second visit - yesterday was our first. After last nights delicious meal, my wife demanded that I run out and get more Larkburger, and honestly, I was only happy to oblige. We are both reduced carb eaters, so it was really nice to have the buns replaced with lettuce wrap - and even nicer that the cashier was actually familiar with our request (its on the menu). Ok, we could not resist one order of the truffle fries - we only had a few for the taste (honest). How was the food: *Burgers - tastey, NOT over seasoned - but seasoned to awesomeness - hot, with fresh lettuce, onions, tomato and sauce. *Fries - pretty amazing thin cut and seasoned to perfection. *Turkey burger (bunless with no lettuce wrap) - my wife said it was really delicious. How was the service: *Very friendly and upbeat *As fast as they could produce a really nice and quick meal *The gent that rang us up (manager?) yesterday, recognized me today and came over to discuss how we liked yesterdays meal - which we really loved, obviously - due to my return 24 hours later. The bottom line: *Great food. *Great service. Yes - Larkburger - we dig ya!

The food is wonderful. Always cooked to perfection and the staff is so exceptional even if the food wasn't nearly as good as it is I would come in here just to be greeted by the always smiling always warm Carissa. I'm so impressed by her shiny upbeat attitude and amazing work ethic I can only hope the management takes very good care of their staff. No one is idle for too long and teamwork seems to be running throughout. So the next time you want an amazing burger and truffle fries that will make you crave them stop in here and bring cash to tip because the only down fall is no tip line on the credit card receipt.

Great burgers here. The house sauce is a zesty lemon based concoction, and it's absolutely fantastic on their burgers. The service at this location was great, and our cashier was very friendly. The only thing I was a little disappointing in was the shake. I just don't think it's quite as good as Smashburger's offerings. Every burger lover should check this place out.

I work right by this Larkburger, and can't help but eat here ALL the time since it opened. First off, they have gluten-free buns. Second, you can tell the meat is green-fed. (Being a Texan I can tells difference!) Their Denver Burger Battle burger is so tasty. So if you can, go eat you some! Yes, it is a little pricey, but I think it has to be for the high quality product.

Best "better burger concept" in Colorado. Truffle burger with bacon and cheddar is definitely the way to go. The fries and shakes are great. This restaurant is by far the most expensive "better burger concept", but it is well worth it. They also seem like an environmentally friendly/conscious company.

My boyfriend and I have been back twice in the last 5 days since writing the first review. (I'm a tad embarrassed by this) The 2nd time he picked up a to go order and I had the Ahi Tuna which was rare and perfectly seared just as I had ordered it & very very good. He had the Denver Burger Battle winner again and this time it was perfectly cooked. I had the edamame and he the truffle fries and both were great. Our 3rd trip, I went back to the Denver Burger Battle (I see a pattern developing here) and this time it was a true Medium and juicy and delightful & again the fries were scrumptious. My boyfriend had the chili and LOVED it! I had more than my usual allocated "one bite" and seriously thought of buying some to take home with us for later in the day. Looks like we're well on our way to becoming regulars! PS: Didn't notice the funky smell this time, seems it has cleared up, but did notice two elderly ladies trying to decipher the menu ("What's truffle?" they kept asking. The counter person was beyond patient with them, and continued to check in on them during their meal. They were sitting right by us, so I swear I wasn't stalking them. They were blown away by "Truffle" and gobbled up their fries as they kept telling each other, "I can't possibly eat any more, but they're just SO good!" One lady loved her burger and the other loved her BLT (she originally wanted "tuna" but when she learned it wasn't 'tuna salad' she declined) They were adorable and seems they thoroughly enjoyed their Larkburger Adventure. Moral of the Story: A good time was had by all.

Goodbye Burger King and McDonald's! Real hamburgers made to order. Extra bonus: served on recycled product. Energy efficient and environmentally conscious. Good food and responsible business? I'll be back with my boyz.

We have been to Larkburger a couple of times before our weekly stop at Sprouts. It is a very clean, bright place with friendly helpful staff. The burgers and fries are delicious. Big enough so you feel satisfied but not so big you feel ill after eating. I prefer mine well done and thats the way it came. My husband prefers medium and got exactly that. The strawberry shakes are really good as well. I love that everything the meal is served in is recyclable. Looking forward to wednesdays trip to Sprouts so I can cross the street for a really good burger.

Meh! Not sure what all the fuss is about. Way too salty, dried up hockey puck patty. Probably four ounces of sauce put on top to hide the flavorless beef. You shouldn't have to hide the best part. Just saying!

I've been back a couple of times since my initial review. Had the turkey burger and fries this time around. The turkey burger was quite good and the fries were better this time around, crispier than my first visit. I think this is a place I'll probably go back to now and then. Employees are attentive, someone came around and was asking customers how their meal was, and they seem to be pretty good about keeping the tables clean. It was quite busy both times I went back.

Had my first visit at Larkburger this weekend. I really enjoyed it. Only reason I gave it 4/5 stars was that it definitely was a little more pricey than I would've liked, but at least I enjoyed the meal! (I feel the same way about Smashburger, and I like that place just as well). I really loved the fries, like I always say in my other reviews, I'm a bit picky on fries because I love them so! I had the little lark burger and really enjoyed that! My husband had a burger as well, though it slips my mind what he exactly had. And our little boy had a grilled cheese sandwich which he ate right up! They also told us that on Mondays kids eat free so we'll definitely be back!

On the inside, Larkburger looks a bit like a Chipotle. It is a quick-serve burger joint, but you'll end up spending about the same as a sit down restaurant. Fortunately, it is delicious, and you still bypass the tipping you get by going to a more formal joint. My burger was cooked perfectly, the fries are thin and hand-cut, and we got free fountain drinks as students. If I want a fancy "specialty" burger, I'll probably go to a certain establishment on Pearl, but for a basic (but amazing) burger, I'll come here!

Bottom line...You can't get a higher quality, fast food meal than here. Great food, staff and plenty of healthy options. Even vegetarian options at a burger joint? Come on dude! Get the Judge's Choice Burger!

I had been wanting to to Larkburger for months, and finally got the chance to have dinner with my friends here the other day. Being a fast casual restaurant, you wouldn't expect too much out of the quality and taste of the food, but the meal I had was very tasty and well made. Though the burger portions are a bit small, they are priced very appropriately, therefore one could afford to buy more than just one burger. The decor is really cute - boho/woodsy/industrial. I will certainly be back!

The food is always good and so are the milkshakes! David the manager is always upbeat and he knows how to get people to come back. This was the first Larkburger I've been to, and it was easily the worst. The burgers were delicious, easily on my short list for the best burgers I've ever had. The reason this restaurant gets 3 stars, instead of 4 or 5 is because of the staff. It appears this place only hired high school kids, no managers were to be found. When I went in I saw 4-5 teenagers behind the register / in the kitchen area chatting away. I ordered my food to go and grabbed a spot at a table to wait. I nearly couldn't find a place to sit... not because it was busy... but because it was filthy. There was food and crumbs on nearly every table. I decided to sit at one of the dirty tables since I wasn't there to stay. On a subsequent visit, I noticed the same thing in terms of cleanliness. I think I once again choose / had to sit at a dirty table. Do a better job at keeping the place clean, and this could be a 4 or 5 star review.

Let's just say I'm a huge fan. Their burgers can get a little spendy, but they are very worth it, imo. I tend to like the truffle burger, with cheddar cheese (Tillamook!) and applewood bacon. Their truffle fries are also delish. I have gone to another location with a friend and he swears by the turkey burger. I brought home takeout one night for me and the veggie bf. His portobello mushroom burger was also a hit. He usually gets shafted at burger joints as the option is normally a premade Morningstar or Boca Burger. The mushroom burger hit the spot for him. I know that he really liked it because he asked about it the next time I went back, so I'm happy to have found a burger joint that we can both agree on. Larkburger does have some salad options and I hope to explore them soon. That is, if I can convince myself from getting another burger. They also have a smaller size burger when you just can't eat 1/3 of a pound of beef. Also, there's Happy Hour everyday from 3-6 pm with craft and other beers on special, as well as shakes.

AAAHHHH Awesome... Not only was the service great the food was great. As a vegetarian Im always nervous to go to any burger place assuming I will only be eating french fries. BUT NOT HERE!!! So many options for me to eat and the nice girl at the register helped me choose. I got the portabella mushroom sandwich. IT was really yummy full of flavor. I also got the fries and yup also super good. Id go back to this store again good food great service...... ooooo and they have the cool soda machine !!!

Love the truffle fries. The burgers are good but the buns get pretty soggy before you can finish the burger. Great organic, healthy food.

The first time we stopped at Larkburger, it was packed with yuppies and their kids, so we didn't even go inside. The second time it was mid-afternoon and there were only a dozen other customers, so we decided to give it a shot. Service at the register was excellent . . . possibly the best I've ever had since I moved to Denver 5 years earlier. They have several vegetarian options, but I opted for cow cooked rare. Tried their "5 dollar shake" (small is only 3.50) and their famous Truffle Fries as well. Burger was cooked European Rare, which is EXACTLY how I like it. It was great, but seemed to be lacking something, as if it was not seared over an open flame. Bun was okay. Shake was made with local ice cream and quite good. I enjoyed the fries, which my friend loved, but I wasn't feeling anything extraordinary. The wood trays and compostable plastic cups were a nice touch. I liked this place. Better than most other burger places. We'll be stopping back when we're in the area again.

I really enjoyed my visit here. Normally I am not much of a burger guy. But I came in, and was astounded by the quality of food, as well as the great service. Since my first visit, I have made it a point to come to this location when I want a burger. Honestly, anything on the menu is fantastic. The staff was also extremely helpful when it came to somebody that had no clue what they wanted. Totally worth it.

I love this place for a quick bite. Ingredients taste fresh and of good quality. I love that they have edamame as a side, and their crunchy little french fries are awesome. Definitely would recommend if you're in the mood for a burger.

Two burgers, fries and a shake....$25.00. Crazy you say? I say crazy good! Stopped in today for lunch with my husband and we both walked out satisfied and happy. He had the Denver Burger Battle winner -- which was the burger with truffle aoili, bacon and cheddar. I had the ahi burger which was a thick tuna steak cooked warm on the outside, cool and pink in the center -- exactly the way I want my tuna steak. Since my huband ordered the burger with truffle aoli, we stuck with the regular fries. They are the thin, shoe string fries and we both loved them. And the $5.00 milkshake was delish! As we were eating, we were reading the information on the wall about the level of recycled materials and level of products they use and commented that we were willing to pay a little more at a locally owned restaurant who placed a high importance on this stuff. I also liked they are aware of food allergies and have posted information about their gluten free options, that they are a nut-free restaurant and also have a dairy free bun available. And always the number one thing that makes for a top-notch experience is service, which we got in spades today. From the woman who took our order, to the staff who delivered our order and the person who checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything. That certainly isn't your typical burger joint service. Totally worth the $25.00 and I'd go again tomorrow.

Sandbagged burgers. YUK. If I wanted a pre-cooked burger from a half-pan of beef broth I'd go eat at Coors Field. Fries are alright, they served them in a box which looks cute but not really functional, also hides the fact that the serving size is really small. Not a fan.

I love a good burger - and I love truffle fries. Plus this place has some surprisingly scrumptious salads as well. The kale salad in particular is really good. Overall Larkburger is impressive for being a chain. Good quality ingredients. Food for carnivores and vegetarians alike.

Food takes forever, but it does taste good! Still I can't see myself ever coming back, it took over 15min to get two chicken sandwiches and a salad and the place wasn't even busy.

Great burger joints. Most are a bit gritty, have some serious culture or are establishments that have existed for years. However, what if I told you one of the best burgers I have had lately is from a sleek, environmentally friendly quick-serve chain restaurant? Yeah, I would question it as well but let me tell you, larkburger is no joke. It is a legit burger joint that will change all your predispositions about 'fast food' dining. A quick background on the launch of larkburger. The conception of the larkburger was at the larkspur restaurant in vail, colorado. The certified black angus beef burger was one of the top selling items on the menu and it inspired the chef and owners to open up quick-serve spots all over metro-denver. With the mission to serve quality ingredients while being environmentally conscious, 12 locations have opened across colorado boasting natural ingredients, biodegratable packaging, wind energy and most have compost/recycling. As you walk in the doors of any larkburger, you enter a semi-sterile space; white tables, recycled wood paneling and lime green accents. The menus are on lcd screens and the space feels modern and minimalistic yet, welcoming all at the same time. Staff happily walk you through the menu and give suggestions on their favorite items. I think the enthusiasm the staff brings to their jobs plays a major role in the experience of dining at larkburger. Each visit I had was accompanied by staff that was well-informed and happy in demeanor. So, now to the food. The famous larkburger is a 1/3lb beef patty, made to order. It is topped with a bright house-made lemon dijon sauce and fresh sliced tomatoes, onions and lettuce. It is a juicy burger that showcases their certified angus beef and quality ingredients. I can honestly say, their consistency in burger temperature is top-notch. Major props to the cooks at the multiple locations I dined at because their is nothing I love more than ordering a burger at 'medium' and it actually coming out at a perfect 'medium'. However, I did feel like the buns on each burger I had (which was many) came out soggy every time. This would be my biggest complaint overall. Larkburger won the 2012 denver burger battle with their truffle, tilamook cheddar and thick-cut bacon burger. This burger was my favorite off of the menu as the balance of savory flavors and ingredients were spot-on. It literally was devoured in minutes. Other highlights off the menu include hand-spun $5 shakes (I would recommend the chocolate) featuring boulder ice cream® and their truffle-parmesan fries. While I wish the fries were a bit crisper, I did love the use of flat-leaf parsley as it gave a freshness to the fries. This past spring, larkburger added 3 new salads to their menu and a favorite was the bibb and quinoa. Bibb and romaine lettuce were tossed with prepared quinoa, carrot, crunchy cucumber, peppery radish, red onion, bay-leaf seasoned chickpeas and a house vinaigrette. Sadly the salad was a bit over-dressed with the vinaigrette but the variety of veggies was very impressive, especially for a quick-serve restaurant salad. I can honestly say, larkburger sold me. I would happily go back when my next burger and fries craving arises as I know a great product will be waiting for me. Their dedication to quality ingredients is obvious in the first bite and their environmental awareness is icing on the cake.
