I have lived in Texas for several years and I love Mexican food. Through my travels and the various places where we have lived I am always on the hunt for good and authentic Mexican food. My sister took us to La Fiesta Supper Club for lunch and we loved it so much that I wanted to keep going back (unfortunately it was time to leave Denver so we couldn't :-(. ) The staff and owner were wonderfully warm, pleasant and wanting nothing more than to please their customers. More rare these days to be sure. But the food sealed the deal. I had their enchiladas in green chilli sauce, and their chimichanga (which was huge!), fantastic. Every bite was incredible! When I found out that they have been serving customers there for 50 years, well, it came as no surprise that they have stood the test of time. A diamond for sure. Truly fabulous!

Love this place for all the reasons I shouldn't but the salsa is fab, beers are cold and the Chips are addictive! A solid standby--great way to start a night downtown (lunch is great too)

The food is as good as you want, and the green chili will cure a cold.

I have to give La Fiesta an A-OK for standing the test of time. I have been eating here with the ex-Shell employees group for years as in lots of years. It is standard Tex-Mex, a little heavy for my taste now but it is the classic flavor of Tex-Mex: fried and cheesy. La Fiesta still handles a large lunch crowd and from the looks of everyone, they have been eating there for years as well. I have never seen so many oxygen tanks in my whole life. And what is funny, one of the tanks belonged to an old boss I had years ago. So, La Fiesta is doing something right for the crowd it serves and keeps them coming back.
