Can't say enough about this place. I just moved to the neighborhood and went for a pizza, they were closed, but I discovered JPP is open and served food until 2:00am!! What a find for someone who has late work hours. People there we're very friendly and I can't wait to go back.

A neat little bar in a weird part of town. This one intersection is very modern and hipster, but go a block in any direction and its pretty sketchy. I came to meet some clients, and the patio is a little oddly shaped to have more than 2 people there, but we squeezed in and make it work. The wine was very good, and its one of those places that allows food to be delivered.

Can't really review this place. It was closed at 11:52pm. Contrary to the Yelp Review

Solid 4 stars. Could be more, but not on first visit. It was a lazy, perfect Denver weather, Sunday and we were out for a 6-mile walk. After 3, we needed a beer. A very warm welcome from Sara at the bar. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The window opens onto the patio. The TVs are not overwhelming. Special Irish Red for St Paddy's Day weekend. $4 for 16oz (no foam) and the price INCLUDES TAX. Damn, this good. We did not have any food. It is a limited menu. Highly recommended.

Fun little place. Has the "towny" feel that I was looking for. Locals hang out but don't intimidate people that don't come in frequently. They let you bring in pizza from across the street (rare for a place that serves food!)

Fun little neighborhood bar, kinda the only one in that area. They have games, the bartenders are nice and friendly, and they have plenty on tap.

Small, unassuming spot that's perfect for having a few drinks with friends. Friendly bar staff and a decent selection of beverages. I ordered a hummus plate to go with my drinking and on a future visit I might steer clear of that and order pizza from the restaurant across the street. The staff will provide you with their menu & number if you need it. There is a patio but it's small, so I wouldn't count on it for a large group looking for patio drinking. I'll be adding this spot to the bar rotation.

Awesome neighborhood pub! Everything is new and clean but it has that old rustic feel.

It smells good. No really, when I walked in my first thought was wow this bar smells good. This is a product of a few things; first - it's new ( 2 weeks old) and second - the tables and bar are all freshly carved and have that newly cut wood smell. The decor is top notch as well. Along with the upscale tables and bar there is exposed brick and local art to add to the ambiance. Whomever did the design on this place did one hell of a job. The beer/liquor selection was adequate. They had a handful of local brews on tap as well as can and bottle options. They serve food, not a full menu, but the kind of stuff you can munch on when you're having a few drinks. There is also a new pizza place right across the street you can order from and bring into the pub ... there is really no reason be hungry here. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere equals new place in the rotation.

Taking the backroads home from work one day, we saw Jefferson Park Pub and thought we'd give it a chance. It was a great call. The bartender was super attentive and friendly. You could tell she had a lot of regulars, but that made it more fun. It was by no means crowded, but had enough people to be a good happy hour spot. We tried the spicy artichoke dip which was amazing, but I hear you can bring in pizza from next door if you want. Either way - it was inviting and cozy with the fireplaces. Definitely recommend if you're in the neighborhood.

I noticed this place open the other day so I decided to pop in. It's funny to walk in and smell the fresh paint- literally! It is THAT new! I was intrigued and it did not disappoint. Not surprising, there were not that many people there but that will come with time and as the neighbors (Italian and pizza) open up soon and once people discover some of the great new places on Federal! As for the space, I like how intimate it is and it looks like it could be the perfect neighborhood bar in an area that really needs one! Not to mention they also have a patio for when the weather is nice. There is a limited food menu but I think it will be mostly for drinks and hanging out. They do have several flat screen TV's, which I am not too thrilled about but, in this place, I could see that as an appealing thing for the clientele. I am not sure this place is yet a 4-star place but I am rating this on the potential I see and what I hope it becomes!

A nice neigh neighborhood bar with a steadily improving atmosphere. Great for a quick beer or drink, but be prepared for slightly higher than average pricing. They are dog friendly on their patios and allow outside food, which is refreshing in a world of crappy bar food. Go Hawks!

After my previous review, I was contacted by the owner who was very apologetic. Great to see they care about their patron's experiences. I was told they will be changing up the menu and drinks, which I personally was excited to here. Hopefully they expand the food options and add some hot food choices. This is a new place so I'm sure over time their food/drink options will evolve as they find their identity. May have been a bit harsh in placing blame on them for the misbehaving dogs and their owners since that is not entirely their fault. Wish some patrons were better dog owners or just left their dogs at home as this would make the experience much better.

Wow. This place is awesome! First time here and the bartenders are attentive, efficient, kind and funny. The happy hour is 3-6p and 11-2a. We ordered from sexy pizza next door and brought it inside. No problem. Comfy atmosphere and multiple tvs with football on... But not even close to overly crowded. I'm a fan and will be back soon!

Jefferson Park Pub has all the charm you could expect and want from a local pub. I often head down here to read a book or do homework. When I am in a social mood, there are always interesting people to talk with. This is definitely one of my favorite hangouts, and I make sure that whenever I have visitors in town, I bring them by for a drink. If you are hungry, Sexy pizza is right across the street. You can order a pizza and eat it here. Jarid is one of the best bartenders I have come across. He is knowledgeable, personable, and quite the beverage craftsman. The owners, Sara and Stephanie are a delight, and their establishment is a great addition to the Jefferson Park Neighborhood.

I was not too happy when I found out a bar with a late night license was moving into that space, but after meeting with the owners I can honestly say that if a bar had to move in, I am glad that they are the ones running it. Awesome people.

Made my first visit to Jefferson Park Pub yesterday. Was completely taken with the feeling of 'home', personalized service and , as I came to discover, a menu featuring homemade-type food. There aren't many taverns in Denver that generate the warmth that Jefferson Park Pub exudes. I highly recommend the place, particularly if you wish to spend some time simply chillin'. Love the place and, I will be back. M.R.

Live in the hood and LOVE this place. Owners are super nice and it's a really nice, clean bar. The bathrooms smell like wood, it's great. They let you order pizza from Sexy pizza across the street and they'll bring your pizza over to you. I love this bar and am so happy that it's walking distance from my house. oh and did I mention that they are super nice about us bringing our son up there to eat pizza dinner and have a beer. Top notch establishment and great addition to the hood.

I work near this place and have had my eye on it for quite some time. I finally decided to stop by after a hard day's work and entered to a half filled, warm atmosphere where I was instantly greeted by a friendly bartender. They had a decent election for a small pub, and I felt instantly at home. This place has a nice ambiance, and one feels comfortable talking to other patrons. It has a real neighborhood pub like feel to it. Good vibes, and good beer. The bartender even offered me a slice of delicious chocolate cake that his mom had sent hi for his birthday! I will visit again!!!

I went to Jefferson Park Pub last Friday evening (April 3, 2015) to meet some friends. My friends were running late, so I grabbed the last available table. While I was waiting, a few of the other tables opened and were immediately filled. It looked like only two people were working the entire pub. The waiter came around to one of the tables that had already been seated and cleared a few glasses. They asked to see a menu. He went back to the bar and helped a few customers standing there. He didn't return with the menu to that table, didn't come by my table, and didn't help any of the customers at the new tables. He came out to deliver some food several minutes later and stopped by my table (finally). He was moving slowly and seemed completely unconcerned about the number of customers waiting for service. I asked for a water and a wine list. Then he disappeared. The few tables that had drinks already finished up and the rest of us just sat there waiting. One of the people at the table waiting on the menu finally went up to the bar. No sign of the waiter. When my friends arrived, we waited for a few more minutes then finally left. In total, I was there for 32 minutes without being served. Ridiculous. I won't be going back, and neither will my friends who had previously been regulars (they live a few blocks away).

One of the best pubs around... great spot to watch sports. Staff is friendly, fun and always remembers you. Drink selection is delicious and they have fun, tasty brunch menu. Just an awesome place to kick back and relax.

We were soo glad when another place opened on this side of town. We don't have to go to Highland Square, Tenneyson or Lohi and can ride our bikes here. The staff is awesome and soo nice. They know everyone's name and drink. There is no dinner food to speak of but Sexy Pizza is across the street and you can bring a pizza into the bar. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. We will be spending plenty of the summer here.

The place just opened so I will update after additional visits (as lots of places seem pretty different after a few months of operation) but I've been here a few times now and it's pretty solid. I've lived in this area for over 3 years now and it had always been underserved. The redevelopment of this little square is going to be great and much needed and the opening of this place is just the start. The times I've been here have been after dinner to just have a couple drinks then walk home. The drink selection is pretty good and their draft selection has a good variety. I think they will have more and more small food stuff as they get going but right now what we have had has been decent but this place is the best place in the area for grabbing happy hr or later night drinks. Atmosphere is great and decorated nicely. Staff is very attentive and know what they are doing. All in all, this is definitely my favorite bar right now in the Jefferson Park area and I'm hoping they just keep getting more popular and keep putting out a good product.

Although their drinks are a little on the pricier side, I must say, this is a GREAT new addition to the neighborhood, and gives great character to the "town square." The pub is a very relaxed atmosphere, and I like that it's clean and not too crowded. Batman The Boston Terrier approves of the pub as well, as he is not only welcome, but embraced by the employees (bring your Bostons, they LOVE Bostons here)! ;-)

Awesome place to grab drinks in the heart of Jefferson Park. They only serve light food however Sexy Pizza is across the street and they encourage patrons to bring your pizza back to enjoy.

The epitome of what makes a great neighbor bar. Very clean and well decorated. Very welcoming atmosphere. Sarah, Steph and the rest of the staff are all very friendly and hardworking. I live out of town, but if I lived in Denver, this place would be my favorite hangout. Great place to start, end or spend your whole evening out. Plenty of well-located TVs if you're looking for a place to watch sports with friends. Make sure you play a game of "Shut the Box" while you're there.

Jefferson Park Pub is a great place to relax with friends or take a date! It is beautifully decorated with a chill atmosphere. The service is impeccable and other customers are friendly. I now have a new favorite cocktail, Habanero Tequila with Fresca! Thank You JPP for a fun time.
