The interior of the restaurant may be old and a bit dingy, but then again so is every worthwhile Chinatown in this country, right? The prices are really quite reasonable, the food offered up is tasty and plentiful, and the atmosphere, well... we already went over that. I haven't had delivery, although they seem to do a good bit of it, so I can't comment on that. It's a great little hole-in-the-wall for a quick lunch or a cheap dinner.

Business at this chinese food joint has increased. We like the food and we eat here a lot. Not a place for the armosphere. Take out and fast!

Not my favorite, there are several better options around town, the fact that they deliver is a huge plus. You can't go wrong with anything "spicy" here. The menu options all seem the same all though they are not. The steamed rice is always my go to, since the lo main, is a bit nasty almost all the time!

The food is ok but there isn't any competition so they don't care about you at all. ALways a bunch of teenagers playing around and they'll get to you when they feel like it. Plus what's with always being out of stuff? I make the drive and go to New Dragon.

Even if you're a carnivore, order the veggie fried rice, because it's delicious! Pair that with a side of their cheese wonton or crab Rangoon or whatever it's called, and you won't regret it!!

We've been going here for take-out for the past fifteen years, and the quality has not gone down during that time. The staff are always friendly and helpful when placing orders, and often remember repeat customer. The food has always tasted great, and the prices are very reasonable for take-out. We can feed three people for $15-$20, and have some leftovers for the following night. Would highly recommend Jade Cafe!

Wow! This place is disgusting. We ordered sweet and sour pork, orange chicken, fried rice, and crab ragoons. Let's start with the chicken.....is it really chicken? Honestly, I'm not completely sure.... Fried rice is supposed to be fried..right? It was white rice with some old egg tossed in it.....yuck! Crab ragoons. ...well, they had no crab. I didn't eat the pork, so I really don't know the quality, but I'm guessing from the rest of the food.....it also tasted like cat shit. The best part was the cola.....which had more ice than soda in it. Boooooooo....

Cant get over how fast the delivery is.Ive ordered from here numerous times and where eating within 15 minutes. They dont skimp on anything either, the cashew chicken has tons of cashews and chicken! not like other places where its all veggies. We also ordered some MooShoo as well and happily there where plenty of mushrooms(wood ear too!)to be had by all but sadly not enough pancakes

After ordering delivery twice and being very, very pleased with both the food and the service, we decided to go to the restaurant and try their dine-in experience. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the server was attentive without being intrusive. We have found a new dine Chinese restaurant for dining and delivery!

Fat, friendly and consistently great quality. We get takeout from here at least once per month. I love the veggie fried rice.

There seems to be a lot of regulars that come here for take out. I'm sorry to say I will not be one of those regulars. In my option this place was just overall, really bad (bland, canned, over-fried). I'm continuing my search for good Chinese food in the area...

Jade has been a favorite of mine since High school. Wontons, Eggrolls, and chicken anything is delicious. Even though I prefer sweet and sour or seasame, also Kung po shrimp is good. Delivery is always quick if you live in bear valley. Jade has only disappointed me a few times but just because they messed up an order but they always make it right if you call them on it. Hope this helps yelp folk.

Consistently good Chinese food. Great hole in the wall for takeout; don't go here for a dining room experience. Sesame Chicken is our family's go to choice. Love the light batter. Sauce can sometimes be a little overwhelmingly sweet. We always get prompt delivery when we need it. Also love General Tao's and Kung Pao Chicken. My general complaint seems to stand true with a lot of Chinese restaurants. When you order an entrée / combo and have to choose white or fried rice, the fried rice is very basic, bland held in the rice warmer fried rice. When you actually order a chicken or pork fried rice from the menu, you get the full version. Everyone that works the counter and / or delivers have been very friendly.

Jade Cafe is a great place for affordable Chinese food. The interior is small, I believe there are five tables altogether, so it is not conducive to eating in with large parties. They seem to do a great carry out business and have delivery for orders over $10. The hot and sour soup and Kung Pao Chicken are delicious. The dumplings are alright, They are well-filled, but a bit bland without the dipping sauce. The service is good and fairly quick. The employees are helpful and polite. This is definitely a place I will continue going.

I'll leave them a good review even though I'm paleo now and probably won't find myself here again. They are good for what you're looking for, which is a fast food Chinese (take out) joint. I'm going to compare them to the upscale Chinese places, because they're not trying to be that. They're no frills, I ate inside once and its that divey type atmosphere that gives you a table and food so you can do your business and leave. Takeout is good too. Food is decently prepared for no frills Chinese and the take out container is filled with what you ordered. Those complaining that it's cheap Chinese .. yeah .. you're right. That's what they're trying to be. No every Chinese place strives to be P.F. Chang's .. and not everyone wants that chain type experience either (tough to say that you get what you pay for at Chang's).

The dude and I didn't feel like getting off the couch to cook or go out, brilliantly decided to order Chinese. We got the orange chicken, Tao chicken, and beef with broccoli, and of course won tons! Order was correct, and prompt, came with lots of fried rice!

Cheap and plentiful this place has been feeding me and my LIVE TO EAT family for years!! I've never had anything on the menu that I didn't like. They have an awesome staff with super fast delivery. This is my favorite chinese place in this area, hands down. If you love eating, and love takeout chinese food, you will fall in love here.

This place is less than decent to border line lousy depending on what you order. We've eaten here twice, the second time on accident. Go to Peking Tokyo Express at Wadsworth and 285 if you are in the area.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
