Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

Last week was my first visit to the Icehouse. Went here to meet up with friends and get some food and drinks before we hopped from place to place. The prices here are normal and the food is solid. The building is awesome just like all the downtown restored ones. It was pretty dead here for a friday night but I think most people were avoiding downtown because the stock show had rented out a lot of the bars. Wait staff was friendly and they even let us use their gag shake weight!

Pretty good bar. They have above average bar food and great drink prices. $2 coors/bud lights all day any day!! Food specials rotate based on the day and are a great value. Great place to go before an event downtown. Does not get super packed and out of control like the rest of the LoDo bars also. This is also the bar for the Purdue Alumni club and I think the 49ers.

  • Maddie P.

We came here for the $2 draft beers and cheap appetizers, and to see fellow niner fans in Denver of all places. They have good service and good food, but the food takes forrrrrreeeevvvvver to actually come to your table. It's frustrating to wait so long when you're starving. Definitely fun to go to if you're a 49er fan traveling to Denver.

Decent place to catch a drink in the LoDo area before an event. A couple friends were in from out of town and we were wanting to go to a lower key place for some drinks and to catch up. Some of our other friends were at the bar that came in where Sing Sings used to be and we thought it might be night to camp out somewhere in the LoDo area for when they were done. Somehow the Icehouse came up and we thought it would be a great place to start off the night. Surprisingly for a Saturday evening, the Icehouse wasn't hoppin' like I thought it would be. On a nice note, however, we were able to snag a larger table and able to carry on conversation without having to raise our voices. Also, the drink prices weren't that bad for a Saturday night. I had two Grey Goose dirty martinis and I think my total came to somewhere around $16. Service was pretty spot on and we always had a full glass of something when needed. This trip, no food was consumed, however, the previous time I'd been in, I ordered a burger which was pretty tasty. All-in-all, I'd say that the Icehouse is a pretty chill place to come to grab a drink before an event in the LoDo area or just to come hang out and catch up in good company.

DO NOT FEAR, A San Francisco 49ers Bar is HERE!!! If you want a place with a great atmosphere and a sea of red, come to the Ice House for every Niners game. That being said.... ****Heres the review***** -The Atmosphere is pretty good especially during games and baseball season. - The location is right down the street from coors field and the party starts rocking harder during baseball season. -The TV's are well placed and during 49ers games the game can be heard throughout the bar when the game is on. On other days, one can request the sound from any television. - The food is better than most bars that i have eaten at, the dishes seem to be well thought out and recipes are unique to the ice house. *try the green chili tater tots and the cheese curds* DO NOT, however expect the food to get to you quickly. - The alcohol specials are pretty amazing. $2 local drafts and $3-4's for everything else is not a bad deal in my book. - The service when ordering food is sub-par especially when you are sitting away from the bar. there have been plenty of times where i have had to get up, out of my seat, and walk to the bar to get another drink or to request service. When you are at the bar, the service is a little better. The two best servers are DANNY and ERIC! If you are able to find them, DO IT; because if you don't, you probably will have a "sub-par" experience with the ice house. ************************************************************************************* Like i said, this is THE premier San Francisco 49ers Bar in Denver. DENVER'S BEST BURGER?? Perhaps... I am so very pleased to report that the food here at The Icehouse is truly TOPS indeed!! As a self-confessed Burger Snob- I really can't say too much more about the ICEHOUSE BURGER (cooked in chipotle and topped w/ guacamole) except YES!! THIS ONE IS A MUST TRY. I was with a group of 10 or so-- everyone enjoyed their food-- other popular standouts were the DIABLO BURGER (r burger topped with a smoked jalapeño, jalapeño relish and a whole fried serrano) and the Green Chile Tots. CHEAP BEER! ( $1.50 domestic Drafts for Happy Hour) Friendly Bar staff and they support MOVEMBER too!! Stop by and buy a paper Moustcahe for $1.00 donation and they'll tape it up on the TV's behind the bar.

Ironically icehouse is probably the warmest place in Denver! They have a chimney and probably central heating that helps with a sub-freezing temperatures in CO. The drink specials are awesome! they have a decent happy hour with a large selection on their menu. I am out of towner, so trying some of the beers that originated from the east coast or locally. Probably great before a Rockie's game since it is walking distance to the stadium. The food was pretty good too. I had the pulled pork sandwich with some chips on the side. It was delicious! Hit the spot for sure. They also have happy hour food specials during the weekday and varies depending on the day of the week. Overall, I think its a pretty good atomsphere with good drink specials. Not sure if it is a MUST visit for an out of towner, but definitely a good place to get your drink on!

Icehouse couldn't be more middle of the road if they tried. Now, that's not to say it's bad, it's not. But it's the definition of "A-OK." Popped in for a drink with a buddy of mine after a Rockies game. Kinda crowded, but not too bad. Lots of TVs, all playing final four basketball. We each ordered a beer, and a little snack. I had myself a bowl of the green chili which I actually REALLY enjoyed. Quite tasty. He had something or other and I think he liked it. Clearly I was not invested in his experience. I was going to order a 2nd beer, except after dropping off our first beers, our server never came back. Easily 30 minutes had gone by from when she dropped off the beers (our food was delivered by another person) so we had plenty of time to eat and finish our beers, then we sat there waiting. I had to go find her in order to get our tab. Had she dropped by at some point to check on us while we were munching, there's a 90% chance I would've ordered another beer. Instead...nah. It was kind of a busy night, but by the time we got settled, a large group around us left, meaning that we were the only people in a particular section. We stuck out like a sore thumb as being the only people in that area. That should get us noticed. On top of that, a busy night means you have to work harder to stay on top of all your tables. I didn't feel like she did. I felt abandoned. Alone, discarded and lost in the world! Okay maybe just forgotten about, but still. Despite the crappy service, she was friendly enough. The food was fine. The beer selection is exactly what you'd expect. It's an easy stop before/after a Rockies game or something else, but it probably won't ever be a destination spot for me.

Be warned, this is a Broncos bar second and a 49ers bar first. Not necessarily in terms of the staff and the decor (although they have a lot of 49ers stuff up) but in terms of the patrons. Additionally, the bar was packed an obscene amount. I have trouble believing they met fire code since it took me 15 minutes to get 40 feet to the bathroom hallway. Lets chalk that up to it being playoff weekend with both the 49ers and the Broncos playing. However, that isn't what I'm reviewing. Onto eating and drinking at the tavern itself. First of all (and the reason I came here with my friends in the first place) the drinks are cheap. $2 for 16oz of Coors Light and Bud Light. $4 for a healthy shot of Jim Beam. While I prefer Blake Street Tavern in a lot of ways, we definitely drank for quite a big cheaper as long as you aren't going for micro/craft brews. The food is completely "meh". My wife and one other person we were with got burgers. They were served on huge plates which looked almost completely empty since there was just a small handful of fries accompanying the burgers. However, the fries weren't really good enough to want more than a small handful, so hooray for silver linings. I got the smoked wings. Instead of serving them by count, they are served by weight. Since I don't make a habit of picking up hot plates, I didn't lift it up to compare it to other places, but based on eyeballing it, I think I got less wings for $12 then I would get most other places. Ultimately, if you want to go somewhere to watch a 49ers game or a Broncos game (as long as they aren't playing the 49ers), this place is fine to drink at, but you may want to eat somewhere else before you come.

I love this place. I live in the lofts above it. These are the best burgers I have had in Denver, and trust me i have had many. Quesadillas are awesome, green chili is awesome, wings are great too. I eat here 3 times a week and it is fantastic bar food, with super cheap drinks as well.

We had a great time here before the last Rockies game of the year. Fun people at the bar outside, cheap draft beer and $4 Jim Beams! The waitstaff were on top of their game. The only downside was the size of their burgers - very small. I should have picked up on the extra $2 or so for a double. I'll be back!

We have been meaning to try this place for a while. It was pretty empty on a Friday evening but the outdoor patio is nice so we sat there, had a few beers and ordered some burgers The menu is full of pub grub but all with interesting choices and you can substitute any burger combination with grilled chicken. I had the El Diablo burger, a burger topped with smoked jalapeños and a whole Serrano chile and substituted the chips for onion rings. My husband substituted his burger with chicken topped with pork, bacon and egg, he enjoyed it too. Prices are typical bar prices and beer selection ok

I don't get here enough but... FRIED CHEESE CURDS!!!! ok had to get that out of my system. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is pretty darn good too. The atmosphere is very mellow and fun, there's a great patio.

I met up with a friend here before a concert. She works across the street so it was more about location then we really wanted to go here. Still, they had good happy hour specials, including both booze & food. Weekday Happy Hour: 4 pm - 7 pm $1.50 Domestic Drafts, $2.50 Microbrew Drafts, $2.50 Wells We had the nachos (they make each nacho a perfect chip with a bit of all the ingredients on each chip - loved that) and chicken quesadillas (huge!). Both were better than expected and I would go back just for the nachos - I loved the attention to detail! Beer selection was good and the bartender was attentive. It isn't a terribly big place at first glance, but it keeps going back & back & back with booths in the back corner. Plus a nice little patio off to the side. I would go back, especially before a Rockies game. It is just a hop, skip and a jump from Coors Field. Plus it has free wi-fi if you are in need of a free surf!

Because i'm now a downtown working girl, i frequently find myself meeting up with friends for weekly happy hours and this week's stop: Icehouse Tavern. -happy hour is from 4-7pm [$1.50 beers, $2.50 microbrews and $3 margs...plus some yummy food!] -the patio is low key, yet nice. with white lights strung all throughout and large picnic tables everywhere, it's easy to get comfty here. -perfect view of coors field...and a good starting stop before rockies games! -service=not bad. our server was prompt [at least for having the entire patio to himself] and helped us to narrow down what we wanted to drink. -prices. super cheap. gotta love it. what could be better on a friday afternoon?

Went for lunch on a weekday, only one guy working, waited 15 minutes at the bar before leaving, never even got our drink order.

The Ice House is a quality watering hole. They usually have some variety of beer on special, and while the menu is you standard pub fare, there is enough variety that everyone can find something to suit their palette. The atmosphere is good, and there's just something about those old renovated industrial buildings that make for a good pub scene. I had Chili Rellenos last time, and they were quite tasty. The Oakland Raiders are a crappy team, but that's largely because their fans are assholes. Also, it sits very close to Coors Field, which makes it a great place to warm up or cool down during Rockies season.

What I had? Cordon Bleu (grilled chicken breast, sliced ham, avocado, swiss and honey mustard on a kaiser) and tater tots Food review: Tough to make a choice here.. a lot of it looked good. Unfortunately, I don't believe I made the best choice. The cordon bleu sandwich sounded good but was only so-so. I don't know.. just seemed like it was missing something (more honey mustard? a little seasoning on the chicken?).. all the ingredients there didn't really stand out. It wasn't bad but it certainly could have been better. The tater tots were of course solid. Service? No complaints Other thoughts: Nice little patio although it doesn't have a great view. Definitely will be back since once again.. a lot looked good on the menu.

my husband and I met friends at Icehouse before the Rockies home opener and I couldn't believe how efficient the staff was during such a busy event. When I approached the bar I fully expected to wait a long time for service but one of the bartenders came up within seconds and asked what I wanted. I couldn't believe it because the bar was packed. While he was getting my drinks, another bartender asked if I had been helped. wow. The bathrooms were clean, the customers all seemed friendly and polite, saying excuse me, holding the door for the person behind them, etc., We found this bar very enjoyable and will without question return for many happy hours. The manager genuinely seems to care about his bar and its reputation.

Great cool local bar. Especially good place to go before or after the Rockies game. I would go early on either end though, as it does get packed. The drinks specials are pretty good, but the friendly staff and cool ambiance of the bar is what makes this place great. Cool place. will be back.

Ok, so I like this place for three reasons: $2 Coors Light all day every day, Golden Tee in a non-high traffic area, and some damn fine green chili. Been here a bunch of times during baseball season, but its a good place to go (think low key) during the winter months.

I do not know how or why I have not been here before! Cold beer, and perfect location!! This place has a better than average feel for the location! Great beer selection, great service, clean, not crowded, and went there today for the $5.00 burger - which did NOT disappoint! A hand-crafted patty, choice of cheese, their "house sauce" which was A-1 not pink sauce based, proper fixings, and fries! Even cooked to order! Cute bar, pool tables, and ample condiments and napkins! Why not a 5-star? Bathrooms are a hike, and I really want to try it again NOT on a Monday, which I will, and maybe bump up the stars! A good place for something different inlodo.

Love this place! The bartenders: Mia, Cheryl, Mike, and Rich are AMAZING! They're always making sure you're taken care of. I've never felt more welcome at a bar. :) :)

We went with a group of six people after the rockies game last night. Got there it was close the the field had a great big patio....so we got drinks at the bar and went out on the patio to seat. Well a bit goes by and a couple of people in the party want to eat..so we see one of the bartenders and we ask her can we order food..she says "yea ill get you a menu" so she brought the menus...never should back up....so we went to the bar where there she was...while taking our order i though she was just gonna explode on us. We asked a question and holy schmolly dont do that!! Not really wanting to make to much of a scene we paid and went back to our group. The food gets delivered and i ask on e of the guys what is up with there unfriendly staff and his reply was...ooo shes been here since 10.....ooooook so thats my fault for coming in? The bottom line is the foods was decent...the drinks...well there drinks...the staff...Ice House just because your close to Coors field doesnt meant you will always get the business...your staff needs some serious overhaul....

This is a review of the Ice House Tavern's macaroni and cheese dish. I popped into the bar after a recent Rockies game to try their mac n' cheese offering. It is described as white cheddar mac & cheese "au gratin" $12.75. Nice presentation with a baked cheese top and is also served with a side of celery (or carrots?...I was pretty sauced, thusly forget). The elbow style mac is good and I like the taste but the consistency is sorta dry and taste is one-note. But I will say for an au gratin style mac it succeeds and I like the celery side as it serves as a light refresher when digging into a heavier style mac. Still, for $13 there are a lot of other m&c dishes in Denver I would eat first.

This sports pub has opened in the Icehouse, in a space once inhabited by Brasserie Rouge and other fine dining restaurants. They offer sports on big-screen TVs in a great location near Coors Field. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Excellent atmosphere. Reasonable prices, fairly straightforward bar food. Not for foodies, or for anyone wanting a glass of wine -- it's for sports fans, beer drinkers, and others who want a casual place to cool their heels. The pulled pork sandwich (about $8) was adequate. The green chili w/ pork (served with a good flour tortilla) was spicy and tasty, and at $5 a great deal. The chili was plated very nicely on white dishware-- the sandwich and fries arrived on a less spectacular plastic tray.

Stopped by on a Saturday night ($2 Coors, thank you very much), and I was pleased. It wasn't very crowded, but the crew I was with said it's a lot busier before/after Rockies games, and I'm sure other sporting events bring in some traffic as well. There are pool tables, some tvs and a patio that I loved. The patio has rustic looking picnic tables and is very roomy. The drinks are inexpensive (see above), and the ambiance is great. I would love to see what it's like here on a crowded night. All in all, I liked Icehouse and will be back.

This location could be so much more, but at the end it is just a sports bar, with really not enough T.V.s in good locations to watch anything. It was very hot, at 6pm on a Sat. night, like 80 degrees inside hot, so they might have a problem with the a/c. Wait staff seemed to be nice but checked out, they didn't even know there were happy hour specials on the weekend, but when asked if they were new, they weren't.

I stopped in here for lunch today and it was slightly meh, and mostly A-OK. The BLATO salad I had was decent, but nothing to remember. The lack of dressings was shocking: "Oil and Vinegar?" - Nope "Italian?" - Nope. At that point, I settled for *gasp* Ranch. The server/bartender was friendly, and kept our drinks full. Seriously, there was nothing bad about this place, but I can't find a single remarkable thing about it. A perfect time for a 2.5 star rating. A-OK will have to do for now.

I so wanted it to rock! Average fries. Good service. Cool Patio I met the sous chef during jury duty and was excited that a new place would be opening where Via used to be Alas - the results were less than stellar. We went later in the evening for some snacks and beers. The board walk fries were supposed to be the bomb-diggity, but left me bored (i think they forgot the salt). The sauce for the calamari was waaaay too mustardy for my taste- overpowered the calamari. We'll probably give it another go- hubby wanted to try some other items on the menu - but it wont be the first place we think of.

I'm still a bit speechless. We went in to watch some football and have a beer, but the bartender, who referred to the girls in our group repeatedly as "baby", was such a.freakin downer that we all decided to leave immediately. He is what happens when a total cheese ball wakes up on the wrong side of the bed. Now whenever I drive by icehouse I have to laugh. "baby". Hahaha

Not a fan. Service was fine enough. 1 Star. Ambiance was fine, especially for a sports bar. Another star. Food was pretty damn good. Final star. Otherwise, the clientele and the bartender's response to them was rather appalling. I walked in just to get some food to go. The bartender was friendly and professional in presenting me a menu. I ordered quickly and tipped well, 35%, just in good faith. All was fine, until I had to wait around the awful customers. I sit there and "drunk couple on the left" ask me if I'm an NFL Player. I'm 5'9 and 160lbs. Naturally, that's an astute question. As I proceed to pay for my to go food, one of them interjects that I don't need to show ID as the bartender can tell that I'm an NFL Player. Really, which one? "Drunk guy on the right" insists on putting his arm over my shoulder, slurring me questions about some football game that just ended. Whatever. I'll just walk over to the side where no one is, read a menu, and lay low. Right? Wrong! These people are like the plague. I'm sitting, reading, minding my own business, and even pretending like I can't hear them asking me questions. The next thing I know, some blonde chick approaches me, repeatedly asking me to touch her friend's hair (yes, just like maladjusted 2nd graders would). So, I finally make some semblance of an effort to go along with the program. It's like I figured out how to break the curse! As soon as I touched that woman's hair, the bartender magically appeared with my food. Needless to say, I took off after that. As I'm opening the door to leave, I hear the woman say, "That guy was a pussy," and the bartender laughs. Yeah. Definitely minus one star. Want to know the best part? This was on a Sunday! Guess when my next visit is!

I like to come here for happy hour and sit at the patio bar. I don't remember his name, but there is a bartender there most days who is awesome. Super friendly CO native that provides great service. Yesterday the patio was rained out so we were forced inside. The inside bar was bumping (probably due to the Rockies game and people fleeing inside to avoid the wind and rain) and service was slow, but the beers were still cheap so can't complain too much. Note: the bathrooms are kinda hard to find, so if you're super tipsy leave a bread crumb trail to find your way back.

The service was awesome, Ryan was very chill and anticipated our needs throughout the night. There were 4 of us, drinking.....drinking...and thank god eating. Killer burgers and appetizers with great drink specials. This establishment is a great spot to come for drinks or dinner, casual and inviting. We will be back.

I have no idea as to the quality of the service, ambiance, amenities, or even furniture. I have never so much as stepped into the place. So what, you may reasonably ask, makes this guy think that he can pontificate on the merits of the Icehouse? One seemingly meaningless sandwich, that's what. A friend of mine brought me a rather drab looking chicken sandwich from the Icehouse a couple of days ago. The meat was completely swallowed up by what looked like a dry, boring bun. I don't recall whether it came with a side of any kind. I just remember being irritated by having been offered what looked like a culinary cure for insomnia. And then I took a bite. I couldn't tell you what, if anything was on the sandwich other than the chicken breast. But I can tell you that the angels started singing in my head, and some sort of light cast from the heavens appeared to transform the sandwich into a fluffy pillow of ambrosia. I think I may have peed a little. After the asteroid hits, you will see my feet sticking out of the dumpster behind Icehouse as I fight the cockroaches and Cher (the sole survivors of the blast) for the last of the chicken sandwiches.

3rd update. Went back as a regular part of this year's Rockies season and I'm glad to report that the new ownership is doing a fine job. It's different than last year. They brought in pool tables and such and its bar food is what you would get at most other bars. However, it still has tons of tv's to keep watching the Rockies game even as I got my hand stamped at the stadium and went for some $1.50 beers at Icehouse instead of the $6 beers at the game. It's still a nice atmosphere with a good patio and it's only a block and a half from Coors Field so you can easily have some beers and make it back in one inning.

I am not sure about these other low reviews. My wife and I went on a non-game day, many of these reviews were upset with the beer selection, but, come on people it's about the food and the service. I cannot think of a better, cleaner, great service place than the Ice House Tavern. We had the calamari with their special mustard (awesome) and I had a cheddar burger that was amazing, my wife had the crispy black bean burger that even I liked, a devoted meat eater. Another cool thing was the chef came out to make sure our food was OK, how cool is that? The only thing I worry about is this place not staying in business because there were only two other tables with people when we were there for lunch. I hope it sticks around.

So I've been sitting here for the last 15 min...hmm when is the waiter going to get back over here so we can get the check. Finally someone other than our waiter but wait the resturant is nearly empty. I have no choice but to wonder where our waiter went. Hence the service is terrible! So if you like frozen and processed food this is the place for you.

It took about forty minutes to get our appetizer, which was chips and salsa! After this problem the rest of the night was fine. Luckily we weren't in a rush and were enjoying the drinks. There was good bar food. I had fish and chips for ten bucks and it was a big portion and tasty. The waiter gave us all a drink on the house for our wait which was nice.

Went for a company lunch at noon and there were only a few more tables of customers. The server wasn't very friendly or attentive.. you could tell that the place was short staffed. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out. Not much flavor to the food and it was slightly cold. Bad service, dull food, cool atmosphere.

I am super curious on how this place will do. It is in the old spot of Via, the French place I liked (can't remember the name). It kind of seems like this place/location is doomed, but I wish them the best of luck! We went in tonight for happy hour, dollar off draft, $3.50 wells. I wanted to try some of their signature drinks. On a rec, I went with the afternoon delight.....I asked lots if it was sweet..I was assured it was not. It came, and it tasted fresh, but super sweet. The next drink was one of Don Julio, cucumber, mint, grapefruit....good, but not sure it was worth $9. The menu looks reallly interesting, and I am hoping it will be their strength. I have to say, you don't find clam dip on many menus. We ordered it, and it was very tasty, although the clams were few and far between, but delish nonetheless. The menu consisted of burgers, to ribs, to gumbo, fish tacos, to steaks, etc. So, lots of items, and all a bit highly priced for what I think the concept is. My BF and I were talking about why restaurants are not successful in this space...is it because there is so much competition around? Is it because people can get the same food at a lower cost close by?? I don't know....Again, we did love the app we had, and we will be back to try something more substantial...we just aren't feeling "I can't wait to go back and try everything" like we were last night at Steakbar (see that review). We will see. I do wish them the best of luck!

Had a few drinks and happy hour apps this past Saturday. Decent tap beer selection, bartender was attentive (of course there were only about 10 people in the whole place) wings and ??? were good. Tried to pop in last night during the Rockies game, but was standing room only so we went to the Wazee Supper Club instead.

I had the worst service I have ever had at this place. Yesterday, we went in before the Rockies game to grab a quick lunch on the patio. The waitress was so slow and appeared to have no clue how to be a waitress. After 30-45 minutes I had to go inside and ask her to check on our food. She came out and admitted our food hadn't even been ordered! She tried to blame it on the kitchen but it was clearly her fault. How did it not dawn on her that something was wrong and check before we asked? Needless to say we did not wait for her to mess it up again. We left and had a great lunch at Fado. If you're going to eat around the ballpark walk right past the Icehouse and go one more block to Fado. Don't waste 45 minutes like we did!

The IceHouse is a great bar that isn't quite like the rest of LoDo. Its more relaxed and laid back. Not as crazy but still fun. Oh..and its the official bar of the Purdue Alumni Club of Colorado!! For game days this bar gets a great Purdue crowd. The bar opens early for almost all football games too. They have some great brunch specials - my personal favorite is the hangover. Their all day beer prices are very reasonable (2.25 for domestics) and during happy hour they are even less plus dollar off other drafts. The beer selection is pretty decent as well with some CO craft beers. The happy hour appetizers are pretty solid too..I usually go for the cheese curds. When it comes to a full meal I usually go for the cordon bleu wrap. The burgers are also pretty good too...and I almost always swap my fries out for tater tots or deep friend pickles :) They also have daily food specials. Service is usually pretty good here. On busier days they are sometimes a little short staffed but I haven't had any major issues. The bar is pretty big and has a tons of seating both at the bar and in booths/tables. There is also a large outdoor patio that is great on nice days. There are plenty of TVs too!

If you're a woman and there's no female bartender you're going to be waiting. And the door guy is always wearing a shirt with a picture of a woman with a gun going down her throat. This place is not one you'd want to take your family.

Icehouse Tavern is a sports bar type restaurant in downtown Denver. We stopped in for burgers and beer. The service was pretty good. The waitress made a mistake and brought me fries instead of chips, but then realized her mistake and brought me chips too. The burgers were alright, but nothing to write home about. This restaurant was just okay for me. There are definitely some better options in the downtown Denver area.

Went there for a 49ers game, the crowd was awesome, the atmosphere was charged with excited crazy fans. The wait staff was awesome! How have I not reviewed Icehouse Tavern yet?!!! I love this place! It's a Niners bar on Sundays, so don't go in if that's not what you're looking for. They have awesomely cheap domestic beers all day everyday. The bar food is better than a lot of bars too. Green chili cheese tater tots, cheese curds and solid burgers; who doesn't love that kind of goodness in one location. For people who drive in, there's the huge, close by Central parking lot right next to Coors Field. I really like the location. It has all the amenities of an awesome downtown bar with the "you belong here feeling" and class of your local dive with a consistent bar-tending staff that will eventually remember your name. What's not good about Icehouse? Probably the fact that it does have the charm of your local dive bar. If you're trying to impress your new date, it's probably not the spot to be. If you're not concerned about that, then stop on by.

Came in for lunch with some coworkers and sat at the bar. Took almost 45 minutes to get our food after the bartender assured us it would only be another couple of minutes. Didn't order anything special: 2 turkey wraps and a pulled pork sandwich; salads as sides. The wraps were average, maybe something you could get at a grocery store.

This is definitely a 49ers bar - can't deny that. They only have 1 tv playing the Broncos game which is fine by me. They have good happy hour drink specials. The nachos are delicious - but not on their happy hour menu. I would give this place 4 stars, but the service sucks. They've got like 6 girls behind the bar and walking around so you never know which one is your actual server. It takes forever for them to come to your table and take a food order. Better off eating at home and just heading to the bar to drink. **Well someone finally came to take our order and we got the food faster than the last time we came here.... Unfortunately, it wasn't what we ordered. Ate it anyways because I'd rather eat it than have to wait another 30 minutes for someone to come take our order and wait for food again. Hopeful that they'll eventually get all their ducks in a row.

I love Icehouse. And not just because it's a 49ers bar, although that helps of course. They also have amazing prices, good food, and really friendly people working there. If you're a 49ers fan, definitely come check it out during NFL season. It's the original official bar of the Mile High 49ers Booster Club ( milehigh49ers.com ). All our fans get together here for every game, and we're a welcoming, friendly bunch -- unless you're a Seahawks fan ;) Regardless of being 49ers bar, Icehouse definitely has the best deals in LoDo. I guarantee you can't find prices like this anywhere else in the area. EVERYDAY SPECIALS: $2 Coors Light drafts $2 Bud Light drafts $2 Icehouse cans $4 Tito's vodkas $4 Corazon Blanco tequilas $4 Jim Beam bourbons $4 Jagermeisters HAPPY HOUR: M-F 3pm-7pm, 10pm-close; S/S 11am-7pm $2 Domestic drafts $1 Off all other drafts $3 Wells $4 Wines $4 House margaritas $5 Appetizer specials WEEKEND BRUNCH: 10 am-3 pm $4 Bloody marys & mimosas $3.50 Screwdrivers, cape cods & greyhounds And they have great bar food, at really affordable prices. Definitely some of my FAVORITE WINGS IN TOWN. If you're feeling brave, try the Melaguta version (African hot sauce guaranteed to melt your face off). Sometimes the pain just feels so good ;) Also some delicious burgers here. The DIABLO BURGER (smoked jalapeno, jalapeno relish, fried serrano) is a must-try for any spicy-food fans. And the Icehouse Burger is also great (chipotle sauce, guacamole etc.). And it's all at the price of what a burger SHOULD cost (i.e., you've yet to see my foodie self enter TAG Burger, because I don't think a burger should ever cost that much). And their chili-cheese tater tots are the perfect thing for a weekend hangover (trust me -- I'm an expert on that one). They've also recently redone their their menu, so their new nachos are delicious. Same with the quesadillas.

It seems they are starting to let things go. Menus are not wiped clean. Ketchup bottles are messy and disgusting. They seem to be experiencing a high turnover of bartenders. I've been coming here for lunch several times a week for about nine months. I may have to find a new lunch spot. The music is deafening many days.

The bartender was crazy rude. My boyfriend tried to order a water for a me and a drink for himself. The male bartender then turned his back on us and went to the next party. Seriously? A girl can't get a water? The lady bartender kind of saw the thing go down and looked very frustrated and came over to ask us what we wanted. I said I had tried to get a water and he wanted a beer. I got my water. Still no beer. They didn't actually even ask him what kind of beer or anything. We are 32 and 34 lol. Its not like we are 17 trying to pull one over on someone. We left. Not sure what the deal was but the place WASN'T packed, just 5-10 annoying "bro" types prob. I finished my water before we took off. Maybe we resemble some hoodlums that caused trouble there before? HILARIOUS if that was the case and completely understandable. I doubt it tho.

"baby". Hahaha

Great cool local bar. Especially good place to go before or after the Rockies game. I would go early on either end though, as it does get packed. The drinks specials are pretty good, but the friendly staff and cool ambiance of the bar is what makes this place great. Cool place. will be back.

Update on 11/6: I stopped in Ice House last night to find a vastly different menu and a place that lacked much of the charm from my review below. While I didn't eat, expect a bar food menu that feels much more low end than when this spot opened. After my visit last night, Ice House Tavern has definitely made the list of my favorite spots in LoDo. We stopped in for dinner and found a table on their large patio. (The patio is covered with strings of lights which would look very cool after dark.) The place was relatively quiet, but I can't imagine that will last long. The menu is a good mix of high end bar food favorites- lots of sandwiches, burgers, brats, and salads. The appetizer list is long and we decided to try the crab cakes, the pulled pork nachos and the onion rings. The portions are VERY generous and I don't know that we were able to finish even half of what was on the table. We thoroughly enjoyed everything that we tried. The drinks were also very good, but less predictable. Some were poured strong and others less so. The Afternoon Delight was a delicious strawberry lemonade concoction that was a perfect addition to the warm summer evening. The decor on the patio and in the bar area is inviting and comfortable. There is even a living room style area of leather sofas around a fireplace that would be a great spot to catch up with friends over drinks. The rear of the restaurant has more of a family feel (think stack of booster seats in the corner). The entire staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. I hope that Ice House is a success- they are different than many of the current LoDo spots and are a very welcome additional to the restaurant/bar scene.

stopped here for a couple beers. sat at bar met some friendly people. of all the bars i went to in denver this place had the friendliest customers. Maybe its the un pretentious setting. this place is where you would go to watch a game or meet up for a beer after work. the staff wasnt as attentitive as possible. to their defense the design of the bar isnt bartender friendly. pretty long walks back n forth. obtructive views from one side to the other.

Stopped in here Friday afternoon to use a giftcard, eat some fried food, drink some stiff beers and contemplate moving out of our first Denver house the following morning. This place is kind of in the middle for me as far as Little Pub Co bars go...way better than Three Dogs but not quite The Cooler or Patrick Carroll's. On the plus side, they have cheap drinks (beer, wine, well, margs) during happy hour (4-7pm) as well as $5 food. The fish and chips with waffle fries and two big pieces of fried fish were awesome and the perfect size for me. My husband ate the wings and a quesadilla with pulled pork. Everything was great. I'm no coleslaw fan but my basket came with a tiny cup of agave lime coleslaw that changed my mind. No mayo, and it had a hint of spicy, smokey chile, maybe chipotle? We inhaled it. Also, the HH drink specials are a flat discount across the board, so you can pick whatever beer you want. Nice to not be limited to a few choices. $2.50 for a Guinness or a strong seasonal Great Divide draft is awesome. PBRs were just $1. Service was good, not overbearing. They also had a grilled cheese sandwich on the regular menu plus mini corndogs and even sweet potato fries. Most Little Pub Co bars have similar menus but these were a first for me. As much as love SP fries, the waffle fries are always going to win out. I guess the only con was no fried cheese curds. I'm not in this area a ton so I don't know how soon I'd come back (plus it was a little dark inside and filled 100% with dudes) but it makes me wish The Cooler had $5 HH food...hint hint ;)

The service was awesome, Ryan was very chill and anticipated our needs throughout the night. There were 4 of us, drinking.....drinking...and thank god eating.

They have good food! I love their sandwiches and drinks. It's a good place for a big get together. I was a little bit isolated from the other stuff in LoDo. I likey...
