This is absolutely one of my favorite ice cream places ever! I've gotten the pints to go a couple of times (even though they're right down the street... LOL). I'm a HUGE fan of lemon popsicle w/raspberry swirl and my boyfriend loves the darkest chocolate.

After Perusing the menu, I ordered the Strawberry Ice Cream. Some of the freshest tasting Ice Cream around. Both Employees who run the truck are friendly and personable. Nice Chunks of Fresh Strawberries in the ice cream as well. And at a reasonable price.

NEW FLAVORS! The pumpkin pie and banana & honey are very tasty! The pumpkin pie was spicy and not-too-sweet! I thoroughly enjoyed this flavor and the graham cracker bits that were in it! SO good! The banana & honey is on the sweeter side, BUT it tastes really good with fudge (if you get the ice cream flight). My go-to flavor is Earl Grey with Shortbread Cookies, but that pumpkin pie is definitely up there. My sister really liked the banana & honey with fudge, though. My friends and I debated on getting a kiddie scoop-person ($2.95), but found it to be cheaper to get the ice cream flight for $9. The service here is great -- the person serving us was very sweet! Be sure to leave a tip for them! They work hard to scoop you your ice cream! Now, get out, get some ice cream, and smile.

Awesome ice cream! I was really surprised and impressed with their variety of interesting flavors. The employee was super nice and patient, letting me try a lot of the flavors. Cinnamon, sugar and honey tastes just like a crepe. Salty Dog chocolate, Rosemary Apricot, and Coconut Chocolate were all great. I really enjoys sitting on the outdoor patio overlooking Holly Street. It's a covered patio, so even when it's raining outside you can still sit outside. It's right next to Park Burger, so the perfect place to go to after dinner.

So I came here way back in November and remember the experience being Ok but nothing special. My last two visits have made up for that ten fold. First trip must have been a fluke. So one trip I got the basil blackberry swirl and the coconut ginger. Wow, super different. I usually don't care for basil, but wanted to try it since it was very different sounding, and I'm now a basil in ice cream fan. The coconut ginger is really cool to. Tasted a bit like a curry base without all the spices. It was very exotic and packed a bit of a punch. Next time I got the basil blackberry again because I just loved it so much! I also got the banana honey, which tasted like a delightful frozen banana. Looking forward to coming back and seeing what new flavors they will come up with.

As a Bay Area native that has been spoiled by all of these boutique small-batch ice cream shops, I had to see what all the hype was about. ...and the hype is 100% real. This place offers a number of unique flavors that pack a punch, and the absolute best part about it is the ice cream flight they offer. 5 small scoops of ice cream, each in it's own little cup, along with a cup of hot fudge or caramel. This is an absolutely brilliant idea, and I'm going to beg and plead with all of the ice cream shops back in the bay to introduce ice cream flights as well, because I'll never again be satisfied with being offered just two scoops of ice cream. It's a testament to the variety they offer that I had to come here twice during my 3 days in Denver just to make sure that I didn't miss out on any exciting flavors (and 2 ice cream flights in, I still did). Bottomline: Thank god they deliver to California. My personal favorites: - Basil with blackberry - Cilantro with orange marmalade - Mint chocolate bark - Queen bee & the sunshine seeds - Lemon popsicle with raspberry - Tin cup whiskey with pistachio brittle - Rosemary with apricot chutney

Earl Grey tea with shortbread cookies, in ice cream form. A brilliant idea and a great combination of my two food loves: tea and ice cream! Texture, flavor, and local ingredients are the essentials of the ice cream here and it shows in how distinctive each flavor is. The flavors that I've tried have their own unique character with a nice creamy finish. I really enjoy how dense the ice cream is, without being too airy, so that I really get a full taste of everything from each bite. Texture from bits of chocolate, pecan, or the respective fillings mixed in keeps it interesting as well. They even offer an ice cream flight for $9, in which you pick 5 different flavors and a sauce, which is a great way to try out all of the flavors that catch your eye! My personal favorites so far (other than the Earl Grey), are Basil with Blackberry Swirl, Chamomile Flower with Strawberry Glass, and Cookies & Cream. I love the house-made chocolate sauce that isn't overly sweet. The ice cream is made fresh daily, which gives a perfect reason to stop by frequently, especially on a hot summer day.

Quaint location next to a Park Burger. We gave highpoint a chance because we really wanted to find a good local dessert spot. While they have a nice variety of flavors, a few taste tests left me feeling no "umph!" Don't get me wrong. They're not bad. They just seem to fall a bit short on flavor. I ordered a scoop of cookies and cream with "the darkest chocolate". To be completely honest, it tasted like regular chocolate and vanilla. No distinguishing flavors or cookie bits (which I kind of expected). For the $12 we paid, it seemed a bit high for the quality. As far as creameries go, this is probably the only one I know of in the immediate area and I guess that's most of its appeal to people.

This place is the da bomb. First came on my radar after watching Unique Eats on TV. The episode was great and I always love to compare against my favorites in the city - Sweet Action and Sweet Cow. The flight is a unique option in the area that caught my attention and allowed me to try five flavors with a side of fudge or caramel. I am a big fan of creamy and rich ice cream and this did not disappoint. The highlight was the darkest chocolate. So good. It should be in the conversation for best ice cream in the city. Keep up the great work.

There are a lot of trendy ice cream shops popping up in Denver and High Point in by far the best. CREAMERY is in the title and it shows. There is a technique here that doesn't leave the crusty/icy experience that I really don't enjoy. Some of the flavors can be overwhelming..."fighting" with each other, if you will. But others are absolute gems. Try before you buy! They allow tastes and the "flights" are perfectly sized to share with a friend and get to taste a bunch of flavors!

I discovered this place while watching some episode on some cooking/food TV show about 2 weeks ago. What caught my eye was this place not only made their own ice cream flavors, but also offered ice cream FLIGHTS! Yes, flights people!! The term you used to only associate w/beer drinking has crossed over to our favorite dessert......ICE CREAM!!! So, knowing I'd be in town on an upcoming business trip, I made a point to make my way to this cute little establishment. This cute little shop is located in a small little residential neighborhood. According to the girl behind the counter who helped me, they've been there for almost a year now, altho most people I spoke to about this place had never heard of it, including my Uber driver who supposedly shops at the little "farmer's market" across the street. As you walk up, you see its location is sandwiched between a burger joint & some other eatery. The vibe is kind'a trendy & it seems like an up-&-coming type of place. The outdoor seating is nice, w/a bar-type stool seating along the sidewalk facing the street, where I saw people enjoying their cones & desserts while watching passer-byers. When you walk in, you immediately notice the charm from the nicely decorated chalkboard menu & cleanliness they keep. Next, you walk to the case to see the selections......& what a selection! They had a few classics, but that's not what you come here for. You come for the unique flavor creations such as Coconut Ginger, Basil with Blackberry, or Blueberry Lemon. What's especially awesome about this place is they let you sample as many flavors as you like before choosing! How awesome is that?!?! So, after sampling a few more than a handful of flavors, I chose my 5 flight flavors: Salt Dog Chocolate, Corvus Coffee, Mint Chocolate Bark, Chamomile Flower w/Strawberry Glass & Earl Grey w/Shortbread, with the last actually being my favorite one. Each $9 flight comes with your choice of hot fudge or caramel dipping sauce. I went w/the caramel, cuz I didn't want the hot fudge to overpower any of my flavors. Boy am I glad I chose caramel. Once I indulged in each of the wonderful flavors, I decided to try some in the sauce & was pleasantly surprised by a crispy textured something in it. I couldn't place it so I had to ask. Apparently it was creme brulee mixed in.....SOOO AMAZING! I can't tell you how great that made it all!! This place was definitely one highlight of what otherwise would've been known as just an ordinary business trip. With summer just around the corner, this place surely will not disappoint when that cool-treat craving arises. So if you haven't checked this place out yet, then what are you waiting for???

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Seriously tasty ice cream and very interesting flavors. The staff was polite and funny, making the experience all the better. I highly recommend the salted caramel for a once-in-a-lifetime euphoric moment :)

Stopped by here when a friend was craving ice cream. Shouldn't have to decide between Blackberry Basil and Cilantro Orange Marmalade, and luckily, their small is two half scoops of different flavors, and so I didn't even have to decide. Fun flavors for me, good ol' "normal" flavors for my partner who only likes coffee or mint chocolate chip. Lots of seating, some parking. I'd definitely come back!

BASIL WITH BLACKBERRY!! Order that and you can thank me later. We visited with a Livingsocial deal for the flight and a $10 gc for a return visit. Darkest chocolate- rich, creamy, and extremely chocolatey. This would make an awesome shake! Earl gray with shortbread- the shortbread is very good! It's crumbly and buttery. The earl gray flavor could be stronger. Basil with blackberry- love, love, LOVE! The basil flavor is strong but not overpowering. Lightly sweet, fresh, and just amazing. Corvus coffee- strong. We got a shake on our second visit and it was really good and decadent. Tag mostarda- I think this is some type of fruit.... it was good! Whatever it is, I got it on my second visit along with the basil and blackberry. I came here to enjoy a Corvus Coffee shake and my beloved Basil with Blackberry and Tag Mostarda before my flight home. I was really, really sad. I'm so tempted to get some Basil with Blackberry shipped to me but I'm pretty sure my husband will give me the evil eye. I'm already planning my next visit back to Denver because of this amazing ice cream shop!

Creative, homemade, local, fresh, cute, light enough, rich enough ... Just some of the few good things I have to say about this place! Perfect for a mini date night or after dinner dessert! Kid friendly and the flight is great for sharing with a special someone! And you can tell other people agree bc the line is out the door ! We loved the tin cup whiskey with peanut brittle so much , that we bought a pint to bring home! Just delish! #bravo We also tried the blueberry lemon - 4 brown sugar cinnamon 3 Salted caramel 2 Earl Grey with shortbread 4 Happy Ice Cream eating friends

Stopped into High Point on a Thursday night at 9pm. I was immediately drawn to the menu board and the unique flavors such as Cilantro with Mandrain and Queen Bee & the Sunshine Seeds (honey & sunflower seeds). I sampled those, plus the Earl Gray, and Basil with BlackBerry that everyone talks about, and here's what I realized - ice cream preference is totally personal!! I thought that the basil with blackberry was the most blah things I'd ever had, while others raved about it. None of the specialty flavors stuck out to me, BUT...the flavors I did order were great. I got half a scoop of coffee ice cream, and honestly it's one of the best coffee ice creams I've had in Denver. Not too sweet & it tasted just as flavorful as munching on espresso beans. I also got half a scoop of whiskey pistachio praline. It was equally as delicious & totally satisfied my sweet tooth for the evening. The shop is adorable cute & has excellent outdoor seating, but another down side was that the teenage girls working seemed unable to pick up the pace even with a line of customers to the door. I would definitely give this place another go. Good ice cream, maybe just a little inconsistent.

Any place that offers a flight of ice cream definitely has my attention! Unfortunately, High Point has some things to work on but it was still an enjoyable experience. We came here thanks to Groupon for a flight plus a $10 gift card but made the mistake of coming on a Saturday night after dinner. The timing gods were on our side because we got there right before the rush and by rush I mean everyone and their families in an out-the-door kind of line. The girl who helped us was really sweet and patient but they definitely needed another person scooping or working the register. The ice cream was good but nothing mind blowing (and let's be honest, ice cream should make us happy!) The most memorable one was the Basil with Blackberry, it was fresh, light and tasted like summer! We got the chocolate coconut, mint, earl grey and chocolate as well but they were pretty bland for their said flavors. After we finished, it was difficult to wiggle back in the shop to put our bowls in, those suburbanites got feisty! I would definitely stop by during the week or afternoon when there's not a lot of food traffic.

I was looking for ice cream in the area and decided to try out High Point due to their unique flavors. I approached it with some uncertainty, as the reviews were all over the place in terms of whether people liked the ice cream or if parking was available. I also heard much about their decadent ice cream flight. I went on a weekday night and found that street parking was the way to go, as their lot of kind of small. I lacked sufficient morale for the ice cream flight. Now on to the store itself. I was greeted by very friendly ice cream-a-teers (I feel like there should be a term like barista). They were very open to me sampling. I tried the chamomile with strawberry glass. The strawberry flavor was bright with a subtle, floral flavor of chamomile in the background. I ended up going with the tin cup whiskey pistachio brittle and the basil ice cream with blackberry swirl. The tin cup whiskey was great. The texture was soft and rich. The chunks of pistachio brittle really went well with the whiskey-flavored ice cream by adding some crunch and burnt toffee flavor. The basil ice cream was super basily. I've had basil ice cream in the past, and this was far more basil-filled than anything I've tasted. I really enjoyed the bright herbal flavors, though it did overshadow the blackberry. The one thing I thought was odd about the herb-flavored ones (basil and chamomile) was that the ice cream was quite hard for both of them. I also wondered about the color of the basil ice cream, as ice cream I've had in the past is a light shade of green. Overall, I had a good experience and look forward to coming back with a strategic ice cream strike team to face the ice cream flight.

Can't say enough good things about this ice cream joint. What we order: -Blueberry Lemon -Earl Grey with Shortbread Pros -Consistency is SO creamy -Flavors are super unique -They give you a good amount for the price Cons -Parking sucks -Depending on who is serving you the ice cream, you may get a little more or a little less...

I could not be more excited about giving High Point Creamery a 5 star review! I'm moving from Los Angeles to Denver in a few weeks, so friends and family have been on the lookout for places in Denver to recommend. I had multiple friends tell me about this amazing ice cream place featured on TV, so of course I immediately looked into it and decided that it would be a must-try on my recent trip to the area to prepare for my move. It completely exceeded my expectations! High point has perfected their unique flavors! The staff was super friendly and encouraged sampling any flavor we wanted! I ended up sharing a flight, which allowed me to enjoy 5 different flavors! They were all amazing, but if I had to pick favorites, the earl grey shortbread and the brown sugar cinnamon were above and beyond! I can't wait to enjoy high point creamery on a regular basis when I live in the area.

My friends and I came here because of all the hype we heard about this place. We ordered a flight, which was a tray of 5 ice cream flavors, and the choice of a sauce for about $9. The sauce options were hot chocolate and salted caramel. The ice cream flavors here were so unique such as the Chamomile Flower with Strawberry Glass, and Tin Cup Whiskey with Pistachio Brittle. All 5 flavors were delicious and balanced between not too sweet and not too rich. I also got the salted caramel sauce and found they balanced with the flavors beautifully, without overpowering them. I walked in with high expectations, and my first experience surpassed my expectations. I can not wait to come back and try more flavors in the summer.

I had extraordinarily high hopes for this place and it didn't quite live up to my expectations (hence 3 stars). That's not to say it was a bad experience though!! The lists of flavors that they offer are so creative but left me feeling a little bummed out by their actual flavor. Example: Chamomile with strawberry glass? Sounds like it would taste magical! But didn't have much flavor. Whiskey praline? Whoa! But actually was just kind of regular praline-y. Chocolate coconut? Two best things ever! But didn't have a ton of flavor either. The one shining star of the show was the BASIL WITH BLACKBERRY SWIRL. Wowza. Now THAT is what I was expecting from them!! You can get a flight of ice cream here which is cool buuuuuut its $9.00 which is not cool, sorry. Overall great place to get some ice cream but not my favorite place in town.

$7.95 for a hot fudge sundae? Seriously? Got a small cup - half Tin Cup Brittle, half Salty Dog Chocolate. Meh. Creamy but bland.

My standards might just be too high because I tried Bonnie Brae Ice Cream first... But I was not extremely impressed with High Point. We tried the flight (absolutely genius idea) and had 5 different flavors. They came to us and they were melted almost immediately and the flavors were average at best. The thing I like with Bonnie Brae is you can go there in 90 degree weather outside and your ice cream will still be perfect. The service was great and they were very friendly an the design of the place was very cool. I might give it another but we shall see.

Omg this is my new favorite place for ice cream in Denver to the point that I've already started looking into the cost of shipping pints to LA. I loved this place so much the first time, I made my boyfriend take me back the very next day haha. I recommend getting a flight to share for your first time so you can try more flavors. They're really nice about giving you samples too so make sure you try any flavors you're curious about. My order of favorites: 1. Earl grey with shortbread - I die. Everything about this is perfection. The earl grey flavor could be stronger but it's still good. It's like an afternoon tea party in the form of ice cream. Literally, I want pints. 2. Root Down's peanut butter crème brûlée - tastes like it sounds -- sweet and SO delicious. 3. Chocolate coconut - made with coconut and dairy free so tastes light and balanced! 4. Salty dog chocolate - kinda like salted caramel but chocolate version aka yummy. The basil with blackberry is quite unique but didn't like it enough to get more than a half scoop. The Corvus coffee was okay, I feel like I've had better coffee ice cream. With the flight, you get 5 scoops and a side of chocolate or caramel sauce! Not only is it insta-worthy, it's perfect for people who need more than a sample to really know which flavors they like the most. Staff is really friendly and patient and the store is well kept and clean. Parking is easy and there is lots of seating inside and outside! PS they also make ice cream cakes...

I was skeptical when this place opened last year because it didn't have the greatest Yelp rating right off the bat, but then it won Westword's Best Ice Cream award, so I re-checked the ratings and they'd gone way up. Plus, three words... ICE CREAM FLIGHT. Sign me up! Sadly, the ice cream flavors just didn't do it for me. This is personal preference, but I'm in it for the mix ins and straight ice cream kind of bores me. I guess I should know by now that if there's no chocolate chip cookie dough on the menu, it's not a good sign. That being said, they do have some interesting flavors. My favorites were the mint with chocolate bark (we're talking fresh mint, not fake mint flavor!) and basil blackberry, which was delicious and I don't usually gravitate towards fruity flavors. Overall, not a bad experience but my heart still belongs to Sweet Cow.

I am torn about this establishment.. Decisions, Decisions, Decisions... Hubs opt for the Blueberry Lemon Ice Cream (Small Scoop) ($3.95) while I opt to have the Mango Lassi Coconut Milk Ice Cream (Kiddie Scoop) ($2.95). Hubs had his in a Cup while I opt to have mine in an Ice Cream Cone. From Hubs feedback, he said the Blueberry Lemon Ice Cream is NOT STELLAR as he was hoping for. The Combination was somewhat a "big" mistake - More like "Muddled Flavors" aka like "fighting with each other".. Err that alone received 2 stars for it. For The Mango Lassi Coconut Milk, Err, I can taste the COCONUT MILK MORE than anything else, but aren't sure WHERE IS THE Mango concoction in the Ice Cream Flavor. *SIGH* All in all, we are OK with this establishment and DO NOT MIND Returning, coz we want to try many more Ice Cream Flavors on what they will offer in the future. Furthermore, I am EYEING for that TRIO or ICE CREAM FLIGHTS... There are ample seating inside and outside of this establishment. The lovely server who offer the Samples I requested, if I am NOT mistaken her name is Colleen. This recent visit was after our Dinner a few blocks away on Monday September 22nd 2014. Time was about 20:05hrs ish. Order #1-594 High Point Creamery 215 S. Holly St, Denver, CO 80246 Tel : (720)-420-9137 @189/2014

So this is a perfect example of why sometimes I like to wait a while before I write a review, especially of a rather new establishment. At first, the texture of High Point's ice cream was lighter, less dense, and not very sweet. It was okay but not really great. Over time, the product has evolved into the rich, creamy ice cream I do love so. It's still not really sweet but that's okay because what's more important to me is texture. I think they've nailed that now. Also what's just as important is the fact that these ice creams are made with fresh, local ingredients. The menu doesn't seem to change a whole lot though some flavors appear to be seasonal. There are usually about 20 or so selections at a time. I've tried several of the flavors on the current menu: The Chocolate Trio - Dark Chocolate, Salty Dog Chocolate, and Milk Chocolate. Of the three, Dark Chocolate is my favorite. Mint Chocolate Bark - the fresh muddled mint will just about freshen your breath Earl Grey with Shortbread - you can really taste the shortbread so you might even need a glass of milk Brown Butter Pecan - a light flavor with lovely pecan pieces Tipsy Peach - subtle peach flavor. I paired it with the Brown Butter Pecan and it was wonderful. Bananas with Honey - nice flavor and pairs well with Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate Basil with Blackberry Swirl - the fresh basil really shines and beautifully compliments the blackberry A small size consists of two scoops so you can easily mix and match flavors. I haven't yet tried a flight but I probably shouldn't eat that much ice cream in one sitting. I mean...I certainly could, of course, but probably shouldn't. Luckily, High Point is a short walk up the Holly Street hill from home so I get to burn off some calories before I pack them back on. Something to keep in mind: this ice cream store is in the middle of a neighborhood, and lots of kids live in that neighborhood. If you're bothered by rug rats running amok while you're trying to enjoy your scoops and chat with your friends, you might consider planning your visit after family dinnertime.

Absolutely love this place! The staff is so friendly and don't mind if you want to sample a few ice creams to make up your mind. And many of their ice creams are kosher. I had the flight which included 5 ice creams and either chocolate or caramel sauce - I went with caramel. All their ice creams are delicious and have a different twist from the norm. I had tag mostarda, whiskey with pistachio brittle, chamomile with strawberry glass, basil with raspberry, and coconut ginger.

The ice cream here isn't your usual stuff. Don't expect to find common popular flavours here. Having said that, the more exotic flavours they do have are delicious. The staff (Kate) were incredibly friendly and helpful. Top marks for customer service and the ice cream is out of this world. What more could you want?

Do not be fooled by the little men promising sweet action and liks from sweet cows--High Point is the best ice cream in Denver*. Earl Grey with Shortbread Cookie is my favorite, but the Basil with Blackberry a close second. The flights are a great way to try several flavors and are fun to share with 1-3 others. *This assumes you like third-wave-hipster-experiments-with-flavors ice cream with a...toothier (?) consistency (harder, can see my teeth marks when I bite it, isn't airy or overly creamy such that it tastes buttery...someone who knows what I'm talking about please DM me a better term for this). If you like old-school airy, sweet, ultra-creamy stuff, the other popular places listed on Yelp are going to be great.

Oh yes! I've tried many a ice cream joint since I moved to Denver in February and this is one of my favorites. The flavors stood out as being unique and interesting combinations, the staff was knowledgeable and helpful, and the ice cream texture and taste completed my experience with much satisfaction. I ordered the Basil with Blackberry Swirl, which features basil leaves steeped overnight in cream. My second flavor was Earl Grey with Shortbread. The tea flavor came through and the shortbread pieces were flaky and sweet. Must return. Need ice cream.

My husband and I were traveling from Los Angeles and saw a movie and had time to kill before the rockies game so we decided to look for ice cream. I found this place on yelp and we were very near by so we stopped in. I had the whiskey/pistachio brittle and vanilla bean. My husband opted for cookies and cream and the cinnamon sugar. He immediately fell in love with the cinnamon sugar and actually considered buying another scoop. The cookies and cream he said was better than average but nothing out of this world. My flavors were both very good. My only complaint is that when I was offered a sample, she gave me a bite that had the pistachio brittle in it but the scoop I was given maybe had one sliver of brittle. Therefore it made the ice cream fairly ordinary. The brittle is what really made that a special flavor.

Oh my gosh! This place was so yummy! I went here with my grandma, aunt and sister. We bought a groupon which included two ice cream flights. A flight includes five flavors and one sauce. We split two flights four ways. The woman who helped us was so friendly and helpful. We split the tipsy peach, salty dog, basil raspberry, lemon Popsicle, mint and chocolate bark, coffee, and a couple others but I forgot the rest. I loved the mint chocolate bark. I don't usually love that flavor but this one tasted of fresh mint. The caramel sauce was good enough to eat like soup! I will definitely be coming back here but only with a groupon. It's a little pricey though.

I've had ice cream flights before in Oakland and San Jose but this is the first time I've seen a flight in Denver. I'm an ice cream fanatic so I was ready to venture on this flight. I'm going to give this place 5 stars. I debated between 4 and 5 but honestly I don't think it's fair to compare this to other ice cream spots because their style/goal is different. So yes, you can get cheaper ice cream elsewhere. And yes you can get maybe more traditional or guilt filled uber rich and creamy ice cream flavors (like rocky road or mint chocolate chip with our comfortable and familiar artificial mint flavors) but where can you get ice cream flights in Denver that are served on Pinterest worthy ceramic bowls/wood platters? With fresh ingredients?AND garnishes? They also have ice cream bombes which, for me, is not something I see very often. So for that, the 4 went to a 5 stars. There's a Groupon for 2 flights for $10 when normally a flight is $9! Sadly, I didn't know this until after my first visit. On my first visit I got the ice cream flight and tried the following flavors: 1. mango lassi 2. mint chocolate 3. earl grey shortbread 4. darkest chocolate 5. ginger coconut The 6th bowl is a bowl of liquid chocolate or caramel. We chose the chocolate. I wish they'd like you get a 6th ice cream flavor instead. What I like about their ice creams is that they are made with fresh ingredients and taste accurate to their description. Mango lassi didn't just taste like mango, it literally tasted like mango lassi. What I hate is when ice cream is named something that it doesn't taste like. For instance, many places will add cinnamon to a cupcake or ice cream and then call it horchata ice cream or horchata cupcake or maybe snickerdoodle ice cream or snickerdoodle cupcake when it actually just tastes like cinnamon! High point thought is definitely on point with their flavors. The mango lassi tasted spot on like the real drink. One of my favorite teas is earl grey with bergamot so I loved that they garnished the ice cream with some citrus to compliment the bergamot flavor. That flavor, like the mango lassi, was also very accurate to its name. The mint chocolate might be too minty for some people. It tasted like literal fresh mint rather than mint candy or mint flavoring that you typically eat in the green type of mint chocolate. I enjoyed it despite it being very unfamiliar and untraditional. How can you argue with fresh? Ginger coconut tasted EXACTLY like a Vietnamese che dessert that has ginger and a giant ball of dough. I'm unsure of the name but for folks that eat Vietnamese che and enjoy it, I'd highly recommend the ginger coconut. There's a line here sometimes because some people take too many liberties on trying a bunch of free samples. The man who was a bit ahead of me was pompously trying more than 4 flavors while commenting on each one like he was some kind of ice cream connoisseur. The girl directly behind him was pretty annoyed and the worker helping him was suppressing similar feelings I could tell. My server apologized to me for the wait. So bonus points for good customer service. The decor inside is very cute and trendy. They have that Pinterest look going on with bright matte colors but neutral furniture items like the white/grey marble tables. I very much like the aesthetics of the interior as well as the presentation of the flights. The flights are served on a wooden engraved board with ceramic asymmetrical cups that carry the ice cream. I've had an ice cream flight before but none before had been quite as clean/high end looking as these.

I had a Groupon for a flight (pick 5 flavors plus 1 sauce) so Mama and I went today. First impressions: trendy but not overly hipster-esque, ample indoor seating, and a HUGE patio for the summer time that looks like it would be nice and sunny. There's a small parking lot behind the building which was fine in January but is probably always full in the summer time. Our server was friendly but not terribly helpful; she didn't offer any samples or suggestions and asked if we wanted any toppings like they were extra (turns out they are included). However all was forgiven when we tried the ice cream. Flavors tried: Basil blackberry, dark chocolate orange marshmallow, whiskey pistachio, cherry miso, and brown butter pecan. Every flavor we sampled was very good but I think my favorite was the basil blackberry, which was surprisingly strongly basil flavored a great mix of sweet and savory. A close second was the pistachio whiskey, which again balanced out the sweetness of the ice cream with a little bitter and richness from the whiskey. I will be back to try more flavors in the very near future.

Got a groupon and shared ice cream flights with my friends. Every flavor was delicious! Try anything and everything!

Probably some of the best ice cream I have ever had. The staff is super friendly and willing to help you taste-test to figure out what you would like. They also have some unique flavors in addition to the classics. Totally worth it.

While visiting a friend for the long weekend, we stopped here after I gave her my qualifications for good ice cream--not icy, creamy, and flavor variety. She did good finding this spot. The flavors are original, tasty, creamy, and they let you sample as many as you like. We ordered the flight, which is 5 scoops of your choice along with chocolate or caramel sauce. The scoops were a nice amount and less than $10. Me likey. I don't remember all that we had, but they were all delicious. What's also cool about this place is that it's in a residential neighborhood and attached to a café and burger joint--all with modern and tasteful architecture and design. While there, most of the customers were families with small children. The workers also wear super cute headbands. Very nice vibe. I will definitely return when I'm in town next.

I can't wait to go back to High Point Creamery for another ice cream flight--I've enjoyed two flights so far--which are perfect for sharing with a friend or a date! The helpful staff makes the tough flavor decisions easier but I don't think you can ever go wrong here. Probably the best creamery this ice cream snob has ever experienced. So far, my all-time fav is the pumpkin pie but my research continues...

Let me start of by saying Ice cream is my favourite thing in the world. Let me also say that I am an incredible ice cream snob! I can't help it, but mediocre ice cream just doesn't cut it for me. This, is anything but mediocre! This is amazing! I found a deal on Groupon a few weeks before my boyfriend and I were heading to Denver on vacation. It sounded interesting and the flavours on the website sounded like they were totally up my alley. When we arrived, the service was awesome. The girl who worked there was sooo friendly and helpful. We got two flights with our Groupon which was a total of 10 flavours and 2 sauces plus a bunch of toppings on each ice cream. She let us taste all the flavours that we wanted which was so great! The flavours were amazing!!! We started off tasting each one individually and mixing them with the sauce, then we started mixing ice cream flavours and then mixing ice cream flavours with the sauce and each of the toppings. It was like an adventure in ice cream! I seriously couldn't believe the two of us ate all of the ice cream. I highly recommend this place! The brown butter pecan, the bananas with honey, and the coconut mango one were my favourites!

High Point Creamery serves up high quality, rich, creamy, low overrun ice cream. My husband and I decided on the ultimate taste test: one flight each. That means between us we got to try 10 flavors and both sauces. We had: Brown Sugar Cinnamon: Reminded me of the milk at the bottom of a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch, probably my favorite of everything we tried. Tin Cup Whiskey with Pistachio Brittle: All of the subtle and complex flavors of whiskey with none of the burn. LOVED this one. Lemon Popsicle with Raspberry: Very pleasantly tart raspberry flavor, a tiny bit icey but I found that kind of fitting with the bright tartness, and the Popsicle name. Corvus Bloom Coffee: Not icey at all like some coffee flavors can be, the flavor is very authentic "black coffee", with a nice bitter bite of espresso beans. Brown Butter Pecan: Quite sweet, lots of big chunks of pecan, with a little hint of amaretto. I couldn't eat a lot of this one but a bite or two was soooo good. Salty Dog Chocolate: Well balanced, not super chocolatey or super salty...solid. Mint with Chocolate Bark: not too sweet, not dyed green (yay!) very herbal, reminded me of Moroccan mint tea. Salted Caramel: a little sweet for me but with tons of brown sugary flavor. Blueberry Lemon: really good, tastes like freshly picked blueberries, just a touch of lemon. Basil with Blackberry: Captured the summertime basil taste perfectly, a little licoricy. Not necessarily my cup of tea when it comes to ice cream, but really well executed. The only thing holding me back from that 5th star were the sauces. The fudge sauce was only ok, and the caramel was downright disappointing and VERY grainy. I've had tons of trouble getting caramel to turn out right at high altitude, so I know that its no easy feat, but with the quality of the ice cream being so high, I really had hoped they would nail it. We'll definitely be returning. They have a diverse selection of flavors to suit every palette and no matter what flavor you choose the craftsmanship of the ice cream is top notch...probably the best in Denver. Though next time I may try and trade my sauce selection for a couple extra triangles of that delicious waffle cone garnish.

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. My husband and I split 2 different ice cream flights and tried 10 flavors total. The ice cream is flavored with REAL ingredients and you can taste the difference. Each scoop had great flavor. Our favs was the earl grey short bread, blueberry lemon, and the mint chocolate chip. The mint was so fresh it was like eating mint springs. Everything tastes like it was made with love and lots of hard work. Highest quality ice cream I've had in the states. The girls were so cute and whipped out a container full of toppings. Each flavor has its own designated topping, like a pretzel or sprinkles or chocolate. I could have done without the crap on top but I appreciate the effort and care haha!

  • Al L.

Unbelievably good, with some awesome flavors I've never seen elsewhere! Friendly staff too! I spoke briefly with the owner. She developed the recipes and makes all her ice cream in small batches right here so it's ALWAYS fresh! The ice cream's SO yummy that I know I'll be back in Winter too :-0)

BEST ICE CREAM IVE EVER HAD. I've been to all the popular ice cream parlors all over the US (Bi-Rite in SF, Salt&Straw in Portland, etc) and I must say, this is on my list of BEST ICE CREAM PARLORS. I'm surprised this place doesn't have that many reviews yet. For selfish reasons, I hope this place doesn't get terribly popular so I don't ever have to wait in a ridiculously long line! I very much enjoyed the Pear & Cucumber, Blackberry & Basil and the Early Grey & Shortbread! I love that they have flights where you can get 5 flavors plus a sauce to put on your ice cream! They have cute decor, indoor and outdoor seating. Everything about this place was perfect and I wish I lived close so I could come hear everyday!

We shared a $9 Ice Cream Flight and took a pint of Blueberry Miso Chocolate Chip home. Luckily we had a Groupon for this deal. We tried the Earl Grey Shortbread, Mango Lassi, Blueberry Miso Chocolate Chip,Ginger Coconut , and Corvus Coffee. We had the choice of chocolate or caramel sauce. The caramel was good and went with all the flavors of ice cream. We liked all the flavors we tried and will be back.

  • Michelle C.

Loved the flight of ice creams! For $9, it was actually the perfect size for two people, but I did skip dinner and went straight to dessert instead! The ice cream is seriously creamy and delicious. Perfect for date night! Flavors we tried: coffee (light, creamy, tasty), mint chocolate bark (VERY minty--you can practically taste mint leaves!), chocolate orange with marshmallows (loved the gooey marshmallows), salty dog chocolate (favorite! Chocolatey with a hint of sea salt), and strawberry (yummy). They were all great with the fudge sauce and their special unique toppings! Definitely get the toppings and try a few waffle cone pieces. There are a few tables inside and outside. Friendly staff who are very willing to scoop samples!

  • Chaviva G.

Every time I go here, I fall in love all over again. The flavors are so unique, so fresh, so deliciously tasty. I highly recommend the Basil Blackberry Swirl, Cinnamon Sugar (tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch), and ... okay, I recommend them all. Just get five flights and try 'em all!

When this business opened about a year ago, I was one of the first to give it a review. I liked everything about it's decor, service and friendly staff, but wasn't wowed by the taste of the product. Now, I'm happy to report that they've really rebounded like businesses rarely do. They have a very unique variety of very tasty ice cream flavors that are so creamy it rivals Little Man, which in my opinion is the benchmark here in Denver. So glad cause Hilltop is my neighborhood. Great Job!!! Go see for yourself.

  • Sam H.

Great spot for unique flavors and delicious ice cream! The flight of ice cream is a fun take on the flight and is a great way to try many of their great flavors. Next time you're in the mood for a sweet treat, this is your place!

  • Jesse B.

The High Point Creamery is one of three new businesses that replaced a lot that used to be an auto repair shop. They offer unique flavors including blackberry and basil swirl, salty dog chocolate or mint chocolate chip that actually has pieces of mint in the ice cream A scoop is more expensive than other competitors but this is really fresh, made on premises ice cream. High Point Creamery is a welcome addition to Park Hill/Hilltop that didn't have a local ice cream shop until now. There is very limited parking in back but Holly and Cedar do offer street parking that is not metered.

Popped in after a delightful meal next door and though the line took awhile, it was worth it. I had a small (which comes with two small scoops - love variety!) and picked salty dog chocolate and brown butter pecan. They were both very good - super creamy and flavorful. I do agree with other people that it is pricey for what you get - my small and my husband's shake totaled $11. It is a great treat though and will come back when I'm in the area again.

My little girl saw High Point Creamery featured on a cooking show and talked about going there for days and days. We took her and a friend in on a Saturday night for a treat. We were impressed with all the available flavors, the taste, and the location. The only reason for four stars is the customer service. The attendant who helped us was very impersonal and literally rolled her eyes and sighed heavily when my husband asked for information about three different flavors. We were quite rushed and I did not even know about the flights of ice cream until I came to Yelp. We will go back because the ice cream was worth the attitude.

Delicious ice cream & unique flavors! Can be very busy on Friday/Saturday nights- expect a line, but it'll move fast. Definitely worth the wait.

  • Chris C.

Ok, so being next to Park Burger was a genius location choice. Because that is where my girlfriend and I went right after having a burger and fries next door. The girl behind the counter was extremely patient with me trying all these new and interesting flavors. I'd never had ice cream made from coconut milk before. So I was blown away by the "Tropical Chocolate" flavor! Great stuff! They make their waffle cones in house like they make everything else! Great service, deliciousness abounds! Apparently their flavors rotate often because they use what's in season and they try to buy local for ingredients. So no strawberry right now, because it's out of season. The prices were good. We're definitely coming back!

Carrot Cake Ice Cream. Say what? Well if that first line doesn't grab your attention then you must not be a fan of ice cream. The Ice Cream was very tasty. No complaints at all. Give this shot if your craving ice cream.

I really can't say enough good things about this place. Service: 10 stars (out of five)... everybody working there was nonstop smiles. I am the horrible customer who asks to sample 5 flavors because I am indecisive. Still nothing but smiles and kindness. The is is the type of place I'd go, even if the ice cream was just alright (but it was ridiculously good). They made me feel so welcome! Even after I told her about the livingsocial, her service did not change - some places seem to do that and it makes me never want to return. Ice cream: unique flavors, all very fresh and SO delicious. We got the flight with the livingsocial and it was so hard to choose just 5 flavors. Although $9, they are very large, generous scoops of ice cream. I actually had to tell her to give us a little less because it was too much for 2 of us. My mom and I were so pleased with this place that even if it is 30 minutes away from home, I would much rather come here than any other ice cream shop. Also, best smells ever when you enter... and those delicious delicious delicious waffle cones. :')

Really good ice cream and service. Does anyone see the resemblance to Jeni's Ice Cream all over the Midwest?? Seems like a bit of a rip off of Jeni's concept. Won't complain though, because that's one of the things I miss most about Columbus!

I love ice cream and have been a huge fan of Little Man. I seriously thought no one could beat them. We decided to give High Point Creamery a try since we drove by Bonnie Brae and it was ridiculously busy. This spot is my new fave ice cream place! The small scoop can be a 2 flavor combo. We tried coconut ginger, earl grey with shortbread, orange chocolate marshmallow and sweet bloom coffee. Creamy and all robust in flavor and all natural... We will be back!

  • Tim S.

Oh man. I'm about to go back in and get another cone, that was awesome. Yep, got another one. What ever. I'm an adult I can do what I want. This place is great. Unique perfectly crafted flavors in rich creamy ice cream. Take my money high point creamery!

We came here one night after we ate at the Park Burger next door. Sweet Lordy this place is amazing! They have some peculiar flavors like orange marshmallow chocolate. And basil lemon blackberry. But I went with my usual mint chip. Am I glad I did. It tastes like nothing I have ever tried in my life before. First off it was white. Not neon green. That is always a good sign. The first bite tasted like actual mint leaves. There was no artificial flavors going on at all. I let each person in my party try it and everyone was blown away with the taste. So creamy and delicious I couldn't even believe it. It was a bit pricey for the small little scoop but it was worth every penny. They use local organic products. As well as have an assortment of kosher items. I was bummed when we went back as they had a different group of flavors and did not include the mint. This time I tried the brown butter pecan. Not as good as the mint but I think I just had my heart set on that one. I would recommend this place to anyone. I am absolutely in loooove!

  • Jamie G.

This is the best ice cream in Denver! By far. We got a flight of ice cream which allowed us to get 5 flavors and one sauce. They are distributed on a plater that has 6 different cups. We got coconut ginger, earl grey with short bread, mint chip, coffee, and butter pecan! Plus chocolate sauce! Every flavor was AMAZING! Holy cow. Best ice cream in town. And I'm a ice cream snob. Get some!

Worth the drive if you're in the Denver area. Homemade ice creams in unique flavor combos. So creamy and delicious!

  • Owen B.

Pretty disappointed. After months of anticipation and excitement, I got nothing out of it. The ice cream was so over priced. The staff wasn't cool or friendly. They should be neighborhood oriented and family friendly. They try too hard to be hip or different, instead of doing things right. Take a tip from a few other local spots and focus on the process of making awesome ice cream. At the end of the day it wasn't even creamy and the subtle odd flavors were awful. I will never buy it again. In my option they owe me a few bucks and a smile.

Erika the owner gave us a splendid welcome and sampler tasting before lunch today. She told us about her background and her development of her recipes, training, and new ice cream business. After lunch we ordered her coconut and mango non-dairy gelatos plus coffee ice cream. All were outstanding. My sister in law, who is extremely critical at time, said this is a totally superior product and experience. My wife and I agree. We will go back often. High Point was the high point of the first day of our Colorado vacation. Erika's masterpiece gelatos are the best I have eaten, and I wish her huge success in her tasty and tasteful new venture.

First time and we went to use a Groupon. The flight it most definitely the way to go-you don't want to miss out on any flavor! We went around 7:30 on a Wednesday night, were able to find parking. The service was great-she was so nice and easily helped us choose between flavors. Great flavor options that change, we choose vanilla bean, cinnamon brown sugar, salted caramel, salty dog chocolate and blueberry lemon with the homemade caramel sauce. All fantastic! We will definitely be back, and will bring our fellow ice cream loving friends we were sending pictures to last night!

I cringe as I write this, mostly because I would hate for more people to find this wonderful place. Granted CNN named it one of the best ice cream place in the US or something like that, but I want it all for me. Great flavors, mostly sublime and melow. Do not hesitate to get the ice cream flight. Even the simple coffee and chocolate flavors are amazing. Watch out Little Man.

  • Leah R.

What a super cute place.... My friends and I bought the groupon and so happy we did. We discovered this little gem. Probably the cutest ice cream shop I've ever been too and the ice cream was amazing. The ice cream flights are the best way to try 5 different flavors and the toppings are the cherry on top! My new favorite place :)

To Die For!!! I am a total sweets/ice cream lover... Life would be wonderful if we could just eat ice cream! I just moved to Denver and High Point has been my favorite part, yet! I tried the chocolate orange with marshmallows and I wanted seconds and thirds!! My first visit was last Friday and I have been craving it ever since!! The staff was so nice and encouraged me to taste anything I wanted! You could absolutely tell everyone loved working at such a tasty place! Do yourself a favor and go this outstanding hidden gem!!

Yes yes yes!!! Please give me some more high point creamery. Easily the best ice cream in Denver, and probably the best ice cream I've ever eaten. Definitely a must try if your in this hood and in the mood for ice cream.

This is some of the most delicious ice cream that I have ever had. To be certain, not every flavor is for everyone, but everything they make is high quality and there is something for everyone. My personal favorite is the Dark Chocolate Orange with marshmallow. It had the perfect balance of chocolate and orange and the marshmallows were not hard which is always a plus.

  • Rachelle G.

Wow... Went here tonight with a friend who owned a dairy (Robinson Dairy) and even he was impressed. Totally creative flavors (blackberry basil and chocolate orange with marshmallow) totally amazing yum and I am not really an ice cream girl.

  • Schuyler G.

This place has killer flavors that are well done! I had a sundae with Hammond's peppermint, Darkest Chocolate, and Whisky pistachio brittle. It was exceptionally tasty. My wife raved about her brown butter cinnamon scoop! It is definitely off the beaten path but conveniently located next to a solid burger joint. Well worth a visit!

    (4)
  • David P.

Maybe the best ice cream I've ever had. The mouth feel is incredible, and the flavors are creative and well-developed. This is our go-to ice cream shop from now on. If you haven't visited, you need to make a trip there right now.

    (5)
  • Roxanne R.

Still love this place! It just gets better and better! They now have a slightly different pricing tier, which is probably more reasonable for some folks. Had the Banana peanut butter Creme brûlée ice cream today (based on a dessert from Root Down---one of my favorite places in Denver!), and it was sooooo good. The pumpkin pie is also delicious. They now serve Corvus coffee instead of Sweet Bloom.

  • Leslie H.

I have a new favorite ice cream shop! The flavors at High Point Creamery are unique and delicious. We had a couple flights of ice cream which is a great way to try new flavors. Here's some of the amazing combinations we got to eat: Ginger Coconut Basil Blackberry (PHENOMENAL!) Salty Dog Chocolate Magno Coconut Lassi Chocolate Orange Marshmallow Earl Grey Shortbread Brown Butter Pecan Peach Salted Caramel They offer sauces and toppings, but their ice cream can stand alone. Service was great, shop is clean. I will be back many times for sure!

  • J P.

The ice cream was really good and worth trying......but the price was crazy high for what you get. I'm no fan of huge portions, but the scoop size was a little extreme on the small side and almost insulting. The atmosphere was great, folks were nice enough but the value is just not there. Glad I tried it, but probably won't be back.

    (2)
  • Cori W.

Okay ice cream. Definitely not my favorite and A little bit expensive for what you get. Really friendly staff.

    (3)
  • Kelli R.

okay... I went back. I think they may have lowered their prices or increased their scoop because I did not feel ripped off. The ice cream was better; creamier. Glad to have a neighborhood option.

    (4)
  • Jen N.

Two words: Earl Grey. This flavor is seriously so good, my taste buds are dancing right now as I'm thinking about it. The ice cream flight is plenty for two people to share and I highly recommend getting as many waffle pieces as you can! They really add to the palette. I think the texture of the ice cream wasn't as thick as I would've liked and some of it melted before we got to it. But other than that, High Point is still definitely one of my favorites!

    (5)
  • Bill G.

Prices are high for the small portions, but one bite and you can taste the quality ingredients and the expert care and creativity that go into crafting each of the flavors. The basil blackberry swirl and the coconut ginger are fantastic. The small is pretty small, so if you want more than just a little, splurge on the medium. It is great to have top quality ice cream in the neighborhood.

    (4)
  • Timothy F.

The ice cream is different, different flavor options and a very different texture. Be careful if you get a small, it will be two scoops and out of our party of 7, 3 of the top scoops fell off. The texture reminded me of ice cream that has a bit of freezer burn. Being walking distance from home, I really had wishes for better. Also, beware a small costs $4.25. Staff was friendly and place is clean, just disappointed in the actual ice cream...

    (2)
  • Ryan M.

Cute place with unique I've cream flavors. I really liked the coffee ice cream I got. But I'm giving them two stars because they are WAY overpriced. $4+ for two half scoops for a small is ridiculous! I love to support local businesses but I can't see us going back. A pint to go was $10!

    (2)
  • Natalie B.

This was the first time that I have ever heard of an ice cream flight and it could not have been better. All the flavors were great and not too sweet. If you are looking for a ColdStone/MarbleSlab type place this isn't for you but if you just want a local homemade type place this is the only place to go.

    (5)
  • Christy C.

Simply delicious. For us it beats Bonnie Brae, Little Man and Sweet Action. Melt in your mouth awesomeness. Do yourself a favor and go now. Highly recommend the dark chocolate, brown butter pecan and strawberry. Oh and homemade waffle cones right there in front of you. Yum yum yum.

    (5)
  • Stephanie L.

Went for the first time tonight. It was pretty good and we will go back. I had the mint chip. It was different from any other mint chip I've had. You could taste the fresh mint on the first bite (vs peppermint extract which is the norm). The ice cream was creamy so it didn't have any texture issues like earlier reviewers mentioned. I do wish the mint chip had more chocolate in it though. I felt this was lacking. My husband had the salted caramel with fudge sauce. The fudge wasn't hot though which he prefers. I don't mind the prices especially if it's organic. I'm not 100% sure if it is or not. The kid serving us didn't know but another reviewer said it was. All in all pretty good but Sweet Cow is still my favorite. I'm glad to have this nearby though and we will be back.

My wife and I are new to town and we're checking out Pete's next door when we figured we'd swing by for a sweet afternoon snack. As others have mentioned the flight is a great value: 5 scoops of ice cream and a topping for $9, so my wife and I shared that and got to try five different flavors. The Tipsy Peach was a fantastic and surprising flavor, and they have excellent coffee flavored ice cream (of which I'm usually not a fan). Parking is just fine as there are two well done bike racks off Cedar. We will be making the 5 mile bike ride back over here this week when my brother is in town visiting!

  • Kenny N.

Basil blackberry ice cream - 1 pound of basil steeped overnight in the cream is the secret. So good! The blend of basil and blackberry. That food memory nearly overwhelms my complimentary flavor, the Sweet Bloom Coffee, also an excellent choice. Their cream is excellent.

  • Matthew B.

We just moved into the neighborhood and wandered in after dinner a couple nights ago. The flavors are seriously unique, but in a good way! The staff was very friendly and encouraged us to sample anything we wanted. Our picks of the High Tea Sundae and a cone with Dark Chocolate Orange and Earl Grey were delicious! It's going to be dangerous living this close to such great ice cream...can't wait to go back.

Ice Cream flights, an awesome concept. The flavors this ice cream shop puts out are incredibly unique, and even more incredibly delicious. Don't be afraid to try flavors you may not get anywhere else.

  • Dedra E.

Husband and I are eating out first flight right now, and this ice cream is so delicious! Had the Groupon for the flight plus a $10 gift card, and that was a definite deal. We opted for the dark chocolate orange with marshmallows, brown butter pecan, Corvus coffee, milk chocolate, and brown sugar cinnamon. My favorite was the chocolate/orange tied with coffee, his was the brown sugar cinnamon tied with coffee as well. We decided that the chocolate orange tasted like tootsie roll, and that the brown sugar cinnamon was like cinnamon roll icing. The price was right and the ice cream was wonderful. The only drawback was that we got here just before close, so we got a flight to go, and for whatever reason we didn't get the cool toppings, which I happened to be really looking forward to. Also was looking forward to a couple of flavors not currently on the menu, specifically the blackberry basil and peach. I have the gift card though, so we'll definitely be coming back to try them. Either way, a great place to go for a huge selection of great ice cream.

I went back again this evening and it has been too long. I bought a new flavor (blackberry basil), but tried several of the ones I'd had before. All the flavors I tried were creamy and the strange waxy finish was totally gone. They've fixed the problems and are making great ice cream... pricey, but great.

  • Lauren S.

New fun place-good assortment of flavors and the ice cream bomb looks interesting. It's still no Littlemans but if you are on that side of town it was worth stopping!

    (3)
  • Marnie S.

Way overpriced, but those living in the area can afford it. Bought a pint of the choco/orange/marshmallow, and it was grainy and it tasted like iced milk instead of ice cream. Treated rudely by a tall blond, but very, very nicely by short brunette. I am sure they will do well, even with their exorbitant prices, now that summer is around the corner. Will stick with Haagen Daz.

I am what you would call an ice cream snob. I LOVE ice cream. I have been looking for a good ice cream place in Denver ever since I moved here. *sigh* I have found it. This place is amazingly good! Try the brown butter pecan- it is amaze balls! But really you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Even the coconut based ice creams (that's right vegans!) are incredible. Get a flight and share it with friends.

This cute little place is extremely over-priced. For about 2 tablespoons of ice cream, you'll pay $3.25. The ice cream was tasty, but the texture was not great. It was not creamy at all- it was like cheap ice cream. I won't go back. I'll stick to the "itty bitty" cone at Bonnie Brae Ice Cream, which costs about a dollar.

Only been here once but it was delicious. I like that it is a local store. I also like that the small comes with two different flavors. I wished there was more outdoor seating but the few benches worked for me.

This ice cream is phenomenal! Creamy, creative, and comforting -- a difficult trifecta to achieve. We ordered the flight, which is perfect for sharing. It comes with five flavors and a home made fudge or caramel sauce. There were so many amazing flavors, that picking five favorites was still hard! The prices are perfect given the top quality ingredients used -- the mango coconut lassi (a transformative experience) uses a purée from fresh mangos and real coconut cream and tastes like India. I bought pints of the mango, earl grey and basil blackberry to bring to a dinner part. They were a huge hit! I visiting from DC, so my only complaint is that there is not a high point creamery in my neighborhood. I hope they start shipping soon! I have a few favorite ice cream shops around the country -- Jenny's in Ohio, the bent soon in New Jersey and Humphrey Slocombe in San Fransisco -- High Point has just topped my list as the best ice cream I have ever tasted.

Found this creamery on Yelp! Did not want a chain. We are from Iowa and have Coldstones and DQs. Loved, loved, loved High Point. Went on a beautiful summer nite-many patrons were eating outside. We both had waffle cones-salty dog chocolate, vanilla bean and butter pecan....highly recommend this place! Clean and friendly staff, as well!

WoW! You gotta go! Get the "Flight" and try several flavors. Homemade Hot Fudge and Whipped Cream. It is a good thing I don't live too close.

Probably some of the best ice cream I have ever had. The staff is super friendly and willing to help you taste-test to figure out what you would like. They also have some unique flavors in addition to the classics. Totally worth it.

Got a groupon and shared ice cream flights with my friends. Every flavor was delicious! Try anything and everything!

  • Matt H.

  • Sam H.

Great spot for unique flavors and delicious ice cream! The flight of ice cream is a fun take on the flight and is a great way to try many of their great flavors. Next time you're in the mood for a sweet treat, this is your place!

Delicious ice cream & unique flavors! Can be very busy on Friday/Saturday nights- expect a line, but it'll move fast. Definitely worth the wait.

Get some!

  • Tim S.

Oh man. I'm about to go back in and get another cone, that was awesome. Yep, got another one. What ever. I'm an adult I can do what I want. This place is great. Unique perfectly crafted flavors in rich creamy ice cream. Take my money high point creamery!

Carrot Cake Ice Cream. Say what? Well if that first line doesn't grab your attention then you must not be a fan of ice cream. The Ice Cream was very tasty. No complaints at all. Give this shot if your craving ice cream.

  • Brett M.

Yes yes yes!!! Please give me some more high point creamery. Easily the best ice cream in Denver, and probably the best ice cream I've ever eaten. Definitely a must try if your in this hood and in the mood for ice cream.

    (5)

    (2)
  • Kelli R.

okay... I went back. I think they may have lowered their prices or increased their scoop because I did not feel ripped off. The ice cream was better; creamier. Glad to have a neighborhood option.

    (4)
  • Cori W.

Okay ice cream. Definitely not my favorite and A little bit expensive for what you get. Really friendly staff.

    (3)

New fun place-good assortment of flavors and the ice cream bomb looks interesting. It's still no Littlemans but if you are on that side of town it was worth stopping!

This is absolutely one of my favorite ice cream places ever! I've gotten the pints to go a couple of times (even though they're right down the street... LOL). I'm a HUGE fan of lemon popsicle w/raspberry swirl and my boyfriend loves the darkest chocolate.

The ice cream here isn't your usual stuff. Don't expect to find common popular flavours here. Having said that, the more exotic flavours they do have are delicious. The staff (Kate) were incredibly friendly and helpful. Top marks for customer service and the ice cream is out of this world. What more could you want?
