Good Times has become my favorite fast food chain, almost entirely because of the portobella sandwich they offer. I've never been a vegetarian, but I consider myself to be a poor carnivore and generally prefer veggie options. This sandwich contains portobella mushroom, pesto, lettuce, tomato, balsamic vinaigrette and Parmesan cheese on a tasty bread and it is better than many similar sandwiches I've had at actual restaurants. I consider portabella sandwiches to be a tired veggie option, but it's at least decent quality. I generally avoid fries, but I do like the natural cut fries they serve here. Also, this particular branch once gave me a free pumpkin pie custard because they were slow. Score! I love custard, but usually avoid buying it and now I've learned that I love theirs. I wish there were some healthier sides available as I consider the fries a treat. That sandwich goes a long way for me, though.

I'm surprised to see such mediocre reviews for this place; I've never had a bad experience here. The staff are always incredibly friendly and the fries are delicious. It was so close to my old apartment and they were usually open. I was super bummed that they got rid of the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger (the one with the onion rings...) so I stopped going as often. Now I get the portabella sandwich, which is pretty damn good.

I love Good Times, but I hate this location. I could go on and on about this place, but their failure tonight inspired me to finally write a review. Tonight my Spoon Bender needed a straw, not a spoon. Which is funny because I've also had shakes here that needed a spoon

Good Times = Bad Times. And I don't think it was just opposite day while I was there. Sometimes I make crazy food decisions when I'm super hungry, and this turned out to be one of them. I should have known when I pulled up and the drive-thru was empty during the lunch hour....red flag, red flag. My optimism peaked when I pulled up to the window and they said it would be a few minutes before my order was ready, because they make everything to order. Mmmmhmmm. My fries were piping hot, but just okay. My burger - forgive me while I channel my inner 5 year old, but gerode is the only way to describe it. My fave burger is their bacon guac burger. You could tell the onions were old, the consistency of the meat was disturbingly un-meat like and it looked like someone stepped on it. I don't think all locations are like this, as I used to frequent a GT up north and their food was stellar everytime. Well, for fast food, you know. Anyhow, I'd skip this spot from now on, even if I'm starving.

Wow. Crappiest, slowest service I've ever experienced in a "fast food" establishment. Apparently if you aren't in the drive thru and use the walk up window you're second priority. I waited (no joke) almost half an hour..FOR ICE CREAM. I felt even worse for the dude in front of me who ordered ONE BAMBINO and waited just as long. So I guess if I find myself ever wanting to go back to this craphole again, I'll get in my car and drive the 3 blocks to use the drive thru.

This was my first time at Good Times. The burger tasted similar to Burger King and seemed of equal quality. The ordering process was easy and as expected for a fast food restaurant. The fries were ok.

I used to love Good Times. However, recently they mess up my order every time I go there, they don't correct it, an the staff is rude!

Prompt and friendly service. Same old GT's. Good greasy stuff. The other day i got a bambino and fried pickles. The fried pickles are so good. They arn't frozen from a box. They are fried in-house. great flavor. Better than I thought they would be. Served with ranch. A little salty. $2.49 for fried pickles though... Never had an issue with this place.

I've been coming to Good Times for years. They have always had good burgers, excellent fries, and more recently, excellent frozen custard. I was there for the Great Wild Fry Scare of 2009 (maybe 2010, I don't remember) when they had the misguided idea that people would prefer a McDonald's-style fry to their own, and discontinued the Wild Fries for a while - thankfully, they came to their senses shortly thereafter. Maybe it's because I'm not a kid anymore, but I remember their burgers being way better than they are now. Don't get me wrong, they're still better than your average drive thru, but I think they've lost something in the last 5-10 years. My most recent visit was solely for frozen custard. I make the same stupid mistake every time: I think I want a medium Spoonbender, and I love it, but I can never eat the whole thing, it's so rich. This last time, I don't think I could've even finished a small one. The cashiers are always friendly, and Good Times seems to be one of the last drive thrus that actually understands the concept of fast food (looking at you, Carl's Jr). I'd recommend Good Times to anyone who enjoys awesome fries, good burgers and delicious custardy treats.

Lol when you are starving and the nearest thing is greasy fast food you will forget all about finding new local places to try in Denver and run to said fast food asap! Not being a CO local I have never heard of Good Times before moving here. However I wasn't motivated to check it out as the setup reminded me of Checkers which I truly hate. Being that I was starving I went the safe route and ordered chicken tenders as I can be very picky about the quality of a burger. The chicken tenders were freshly fried and satisfying. Won't make it a habit of eating at places like this but it is perfectly good for appetite emergencies =)

The food has always been good, but a friend recently told us that he was going through the drive-thru and a Good Times employee told him he didn't wash his hands ever as he handed my friend his burger. If this is true, I need to know there's a whole new staff and new leadership.

The first thing that always goes through my head is "Well, it's not Taco Bell." The people working there are always extremely friendly. It is, however, fast food. Similar to hanging out with one of my single friends from High School or my alcoholic brother, I always know that I'm going to feel terrible afterwards. One thing though: As much as I really, really wish they were not, the breakfast burritos are terrible. This location is close to my house and it would be sweet to walk to get coffee and a burrito in the morning when I'm recovering from alcohol and the previous night's Good Times. However someone in their R&D department decided shoving loads of disgusting green chilies into them was a good idea, not only making them spicy (not what I want in the morning when my stomach is questionable) but also a gooey mess. Chilies are for salsa and salsa goes on the outside of food to be self administered by eater, which was clearly agreed upon in the East Los Angeles Burrito Treaty of 1967.

I work near this Good Times location, and while Good Times is usually my favorite fast food location, this one leaves something to be desired. Food seems to take a long time, which isn't much fun seems how it's just a takeout window and drive-through (no inside seating). Sandwiches sometimes aren't assembled very well and can fall apart. On the other hand, the custard and shakes are delicious as long as you ignore the calorie count, I actually really like the chicken dunkers, and the wild fries are great. I'm also a fan of the green chile stuff in the summer/fall (burger, chicken sandwich, fries). Not the best incarnation of Good Times, but options in the area aren't great, so if you're hungry and in the neighborhood, it's not a bad place to stop.

Probably the worst Good Times in Denver. Today was a good example. First the drive thru lady kept cutting me off and not just letting me tell her my order. I wasn't done telling her what I wanted on my burger when she was demanding me about fries, is it a combo, and your drink? I was worried that because of this they would forget the bacon I ordered on the burger, at the very end of her inquisition. And no surprises they did totally forget the bacon, but they did totally charge me for it. Of course I was home before I noticed. Next they used lettuce on the burger, which I wouldn't have minded if it had been the leafy part and not the bitter, thick white part at the end. Ruined what might have been an okay cheeseburger (sans the bacon I wanted) and I still can't get that bitter taste out of my mouth. On top of that, they SMOTHERED it with mustard and ketchup to the point it's dripping with it. I've worked in fast food, this is not a common practice. I couldn't taste the burger on top of the condiments. I should have known better however. In the past they have cheerfully handed me a full Lemon Cherry Glacier but expected me to stir the syrup in... while driving. A drink should at least be made so that you don't have to prepare it before you drive off. Next time they do that I am taking my sweet time in the drive thru doing their job and holding up the line while I do so. But that is IF I ever go back to that one. Which I don't recommend you do...

I am not too big into fast food places, but since this store is right near my apartment, I do go there on occasions when I have a craving for a PB Chocolate Crunch or other horrible-for-my-health foods. I absolutely LOVE the Bambino burgers. The buffalo chicken sandwich is good, the grilled chicken is great for when I want to pretend to be "healthy", and the Mighty Deluxe burger's ain't bad either. I also love their onion rings with Wild Sauce. The service is usually blazing fast, but there are times when the lines get crazy backed up, but this is to be expected anywhere. Service has always been friendly. Hate to recommend fast food, but if you need something in a pinch, give it a try.

I reeeely like Good Times - always have. I don't go there often. For instance, i went there the day before my jaw surgery (a year ago) to have the sliders (don't get me started on the heavenly custard). the sliders were sweet and piquant and perfect. tonight, not so much. they seemed 'altered' - and re-engineered from the intiial market introduction. the buns are bigger and the meat less less 'sweet' - less like meat and more like filler. HOWEVER. the girl at the drive-through gave my dog - calmly sitting in the back of my car - a MilkBone biscuit, Yes- they have them - for good dogs. So - three stars for you, Good Times. May your Doughnut Grade Oil fries live to triumph over all other burger joints! don't get me started on their custard - so, so, so good.... .

This place is terrible. Never have i had a "good time" from here yet hunger and conveinience sometimes take over my decision making... Food is usually under or over cooked. They slap on a ton of toppings and sauces to hide the taste of low grade beef. I mean this stuff still has marks where the jockey's were hitting it. Fries are good and that's about it.

Good Times as the name reads are only had if you like their frozen custards, like I do or for their wild fries or onion rings. Their burgers are good (Mushroom Swiss, my favorite) though I'm still not totally sold on their 100% all natural Coleman beef burgers. I mean mad cow disease is still mad cow disease, right? While I'm on the subject of burgers, their new Bambino burgers (chicken or beef) are nothing even close to a bag of White Castle burgers. The special sauce on the Bambinos is the same "special sauce" on a McDonalds Big Mac, which neither restaurant will claim is nothing more than Thousand Island dressing. If you go to Good Times, stay away from the Bambinos and enjoy the rest of the menu. At this location the service is good, at least they do ask if you want ketchup with your meal. Try and get that to happen at a McDonalds or Burger King. 3 stars, 1 for service, 1 for the sides, and 1 for the custards.

Wasn't impressed with the frozen custard, didn't really taste different then regular ice cream. Also the chicken and in the chicken strips wasn't very high quality. The staff was nice and they have some interesting seasonal items but still fast food.

I had the crappiest fast food burger I've ever eaten here. It was small, smushed and assembled poorly. As soon as I opened it - which was in the parking lot so it's not like I drove far - everything fell out of the burger. It was a pain to but back together, and definitely not worth it. The fries tasted like old potatoes with no salt. With the lack of flavor and finesse in making my food, you'd think it would have arrived lightning fast, but it didn't. I like that they're local, but I don't like them enough to come back.

So, I'm a little embarrassed to Yelp a Good Times...but here I am....Yelping. Being a long-time resident of California, I'm a huge fan of In-N-Out, which can never be replaced, or even emulated successfully. But, this has left a huge, gaping hole in my life for quick, "healthy" burgers. Enter Good Times. I appreciate the fact that it's a CO company, using 100% natural Coleman beef that has never been frozen. I happen to love sliders, and the Bambinos from Good Times do not disappoint. When you've had a long night of drinking, nothing sops it up inside like a 3-pack of these little buddies. Stay away from the chicken bambinos, however. They're just boring. The wild fries are good, though I'm not a fan of the dipping sauce. I'll just take ketchup, thanks. While it's difficult for me to order anything besides Bambinos, the Buffalo Chicken Sammich is yummy also! Ditto for their spoonbenders (a rare treat for me, simply because I know they're not low-fat!) - particularly the raspberry torte. So Good Times, you'll always have my business. You just temporarily fill the void for me, at a good price to boot!

I usually do not Yelp! fast food joints. But Good Times needs to work on the FAST part of fast food. I waited 15 minutes for two burgers in the drive thru. I just wanted a burger...I should have went to the store and bought hamburger meat, prepared it and then grilled it.

Deciding to eat at work I didn't check my order. My Bacon and Blue Cheese Burgar had no MEAT!!! No time to go back I called them and they didn't think it was possible. Um...I love Colfax but yes it is possible and yes it sucks as a sandwich.

Rude untrained cashier takes my order and forgets fries; I drive around to tell them they forgot my fries and immediately get into argument that I never ordered fries. I say I did and then manager comes to window and says they are NOT going to give the fries to me. The manager then starts swearing at me and goes into tirade. He was a huge man weighing over three hundred pounds and red in the face. I say he needs anger management class, and then he tells me I need one two. I leave and call their home office to complain and later a defensive corporate woman tries to defend the staff as they were right and I was only a customer who did not deserve an apology. AVOID this location and stay with any other chain who knows what good customer service is.. It is clear they don't care at Good Times.

May your Doughnut Grade Oil fries live to triumph over all other burger joints! don't get me started on their custard - so, so, so good.... .

Deciding to eat at work I didn't check my order. My Bacon and Blue Cheese Burgar had no MEAT!!! No time to go back I called them and they didn't think it was possible. Um...I love Colfax but yes it is possible and yes it sucks as a sandwich.
