The prices are amazing for the plates and many of the items are delicious. You can get a falafel plate for about $7.50 after tax and load it up with all of the items you like. The gyro plate is only .50 more. For the amount of food you get you just can't beat this place, and the pitas are so moist and good! The cilantro sauce is really tasty and they are always happy to build your plate just he way you like. A welcome addition to the mall, and as long as they keep these super reasonable prices I will be a regular.

This location of Garbanzo just does not work for me. I've been in multiple times and I have yet to feel good about it. There seems to be something amiss each time. The last time, it was as if the falafel was just "off", meaning it tasted like it was partially rotten or about to go bad. It was inconsistent, or I would have simply taken the plate up and complained. But it was every fourth bite or so that I felt was less than fresh. I can see how it could be a difficult to keep the varieties of foods that make up the menu fresh, but the appeal of the concept is fresh foods, so somehow this needs to be addressed. The cucumber vegetable salad was soggy and seemed like it was about to turn. This salad should be crisp and minimally dressed. The hummus is boring (read - lacks garlic) and too watery for my taste. I like this brand generally and have enjoyed the Highlands location many times over the course of a few years, but the 16th street mall location just doesn't have the same quality standards. On the positive side, they have streamlined the menu which makes it easier to understand. The menu is more like the menu style at Chipotle; a step by step process. I'm not sure why this newer location struggles with consistent food quality, but I'm going to have to go elsewhere until I hear from others that there have been changes.

Everyone's (especially my) prayers have been answered: Garbanzo FINALLY opened a location Downtown! To keep this short, this location is just like the many others - they have a wide menu with plates, pitas, and now Gyros - but what makes this place stand out is how delicious and fresh everything is: put it this way, it's probably the best tasting experience with them. This might have something to do with location as there are (and will be) so many people going through that nothing sits around to get weird. Anyway, just a quick shout out as I was super excited to see this and am so happy to finally have them close by. Look out LoDo, there is a new (lunch) sheriff in town and it's name is Garbanzo.

Nice, clean, open Garbanzo's off 16th Street Mall (& Market). Tons of seating, friendly staff and all the yummy fast Mediterranean food you love! I personally love their hummus, tabuleh, and red chile sauce! I love the freshness of their food and I generally get it went I want something healthy (that isn't a salad). Happy there is finally one downtown!

Awesome Greek sit-down/take-out place. The ordering style is similar to Chipotle: you pick your protein and format (gyro, wrap, plate, etc), then walk through the endless amount of extras to pile on. There are so many, they kept asking for each one, I just kept saying yes. Ended up with a feast of a plate for just $8 after taxes. Very flavorful and satisfying. I'm coming here from now on when I'm on 16th street mall!

I'm still sitting in the booth at Garbanzo, and two sentences just left my mouth: "I am so full." "I am so pleased with this decision." I got dinner for two with one drink for about $15. We each got falafel plates with babaganoush, vegetable salad, lettuce, tabouli, red cabbage, hummus, and rice, with feta cheese and sauce. All of that, each, for $15. The food was delicious, flavorful, and filling. AND they have the Pepsi version of those fancy Coke machines that let you inject favors, which I have been wanting for forever (Diet Pepsi Twist, I miss you!). Another sentence: "I would come here way too much [if I lived near one]."

Generous portions, reasonably priced, incredible topping options and nice staff. I can't say enough good things about Garbanzos. I went to the one near Colorado blvd in Denver, which is kinda out of my usual way, so I'm glad to see there's one out in Lakewood so I can go on a more regular basis. I've seen a lot of chipotle style "knockoffs" (and I say that just for lack of a better word because they are clearly doing their own thing and doing it right) and Garbanzos is one that has staying power.

Amazingly good for how much healthier it is than other chain restaurants! Super friendly staff at this location, and the service was quick. Garbanzo is a chain, and feels exactly like a mediterranean version of Chipotle. They don't allow any trans fat in their food, and everything here tastes fresh and real. Combine that with their friendly service, and I'll definitely be back again! My only recommendation to this place is to put a tip jar near the register for people that want to show a little gratitude to the staff when they do a great job.

We love Garbanzo and now that it's close by I am so happy!! This is a great fresh food addition to options on the mall. We brought our family here and everyone tried something different. Thanks Garbanzo for bringing goodness to downtown.

I don't know how someone could NOT like this place. Seriuosly, as long as you like med food, you HAVE to like it! I will fight you on this! It's on 16th so I can just hop on the mall ride from my office to get there when I want a satisfying, but healthy, lunch. I usually mix up what I get but I have never had anything I didn't like. Unfortunately for me, I have no idea how to prounounce basically anything on the menu. Fortunately, the customer service is great and they are willing to help you out to get you exactly what you want. Everything is so tasty, but I especially love getting a chicken plate with all the fixins. Huge portions, for around $10! The hummus is pretty good, especially when you think about how they must mass-produce it since it goes with almost every meal. Make sure to go before 11:30 AM or after 1, the line can get crazy. If only this place was on my end of 16th St., I would be here at least twice a week!

I pass this restaurant a few times a week and finally stopped in. Good quick healthy vegetarian and gluten free choice for lunch. I like the hightop table along the window for 16th street people watching. Disappointed that They don't recycle - and you don't have a choice in your plates and silverware - all paper and plastic.

Normally we love this place and would get 5 stars. BUT, this place is a total mess, most tables were dirty, trash cans full, and floors are Disgusting. There are at least 5 people working and the Manager can't send one person to clean the tables off? Suggest you send the Manager to the location in Lakewood to see how things should be run. After I wrote this the wife said he chicken was dried out because it has been sitting.

Terrible Gyro. 3 pieces of thin meat. Wrap was like public school pizza crust. tzatziki sauce was like paste and void of flavor. Will never go here again. 1 star for friendly staff and cleanliness.
