First, I've gotta say I'm a sucker for a literary theme and Fiction has made me proud! The books EVERYWHERE (bookshelves, stacked under bar to appear like books are holding it up, and more and more details everywhere you look) were charming, quirky, and fun. If you show your server your library card, you'll get a discount- sweet! Service was friendly and prompt. I really appreciate a brewery that will come to your table and take your order- not everywhere does this and it is nice to not have to stand around waiting at a crowded bar. They have a variety of brews and are even working on a sour cider- coming soon! Food trucks are outside Wednesday-Sunday- if you check their website/social media they will tell you which food trucks are coming when. Their back patio has picnic tables with umbrellas, corn hole, jumbo Jenga, and flowers donated by Ace on the Fax. The inside has a bar area, a bunch of tables, and some leather chairs set up like a living room. You can "leave one, take one" from their bookshelves, and they also have some board games available for kids and grown ups. Free popcorn too, and dog treats for your pup if you choose to bring him/her to the patio!

Decided to try this place on a whim. I liked the theme of the bar and the great descriptions they had for each of their beers. I also appreciated that they were participating in Ales for ALS, as that is a cause which is dear to my heart. In terms of the overall ambiance, the place was pretty chill. They had lots of seating and a nice outdoor patio. They even had a book bar! I also discovered that they have parking out back, so do keep an eye out for that. They had some comfier seating and board games as well. For beer, I had a sampler of a bunch of different things as well as the ALS IPL. The ALS IPL was my favorite. I really liked the earthy flavors of the hops used. A close second fave was the Waves and Ripples Gose. It had a bright, rich acidity and was super citrusy. I think that would be my go-to for a hot summer day. I didn't like their IPA or dragon fruit Belgian as much, but the Belgian in particular was very unique. I look forward to coming back with some folks to try some other things in the future.

Man, I dig this place. Super friendly bartenders that can shoot the shit about beer without being pretentious, and some good beers on tap. Popped in with my brother as it was "highly rated" on Yelp, and it was one I hadn't been to before, and it wasn't too far! Also, it wasn't closed at 10pm on a Saturday. WTH, Denver? It's summer, it's hot, the bars should be open! Anyways - good beers, they have some good tweaks on the standard fair, and the naming/inspiration of the beers (from books) and the overall book theme is very cool and very different - think more "bookhouse bar." I look forward to coming back next time I am in Colorado!

Great little brewery! A good variety of beer options. My favorite was the honey wheat beer. Would definitely visit here again.

I would imagine that buying my own growler makes me a major fan of Fiction Beer Company. I love Touchy-Feely which is a Green Tea Chai Milk Chocolate stout. I first tried this delicious beverage at an Open House at Ace on the Fax and became an immediate fan; I now stop by regularly when they have it to get my growler filled. I cannot really review anything else as I come in with my horse clothes on, stand close to the door, and chat with one of the brewers. I read that service can be a little slow and I can see that but they are so careful with keeping everything clean and there are a lot of people like me that pop in with a growler in need of a fill. I like the book theme and the brightness of Fiction and I love that a regularly scheduled food truck comes to serve food. But most of all, I love Touchy Feely.

These breweries are popping up like weed shops. Assuming you like what they are brewing then yeah they can be great. I only liked one on tap but the food truck outside was good :o) I was gonna snag a couple of beer mats but our server took them with the bill.

Such a nice atmosphere! The decor makes this brewery feel warm and cozy! There is a big shelf of books that run on the rule "take one leave one" which charmed the pants right off me! I tried 3 beers: 1. The green tea chocolate milk stout. Very VERY smooth. Tasted mostly like an extra smooth chocolate stout and didn't have much of a green tea flavor. 2. Hatch Chili Beer. A nice twist on a chili beer! Its a stout and not as spicy as a typical chili beer. Absolutely LOVED it! 3. Farmhouse pumpkin ale. Very nice. Not particularly pumpkin-y but delicious none the less. I'm a bit of a sucker for a place that tries new weird strange things in their beer! Having said that, while I think Fiction has the unique combos down, the beers aren't particularly mind blowing. Service is excellent and overall feeling is lovely. I saw that someone said in their review that they would like to read here. The room feels like it would be a wonderful place to read/study but it is LOUD in there. Just a warning that its not quite a library!

This is a cute little place on Colfax where they serve uniquely brewed beer amongst the many other places in town boasting their own. I really liked the concept of this place as well as the ambience. Their bar is made up entirely of books and they also have a shelf on one wall where you can bring a book and take a book. Have a beer and read a book, what a great concept! There is only street parking but I didn't have a problem finding any. As for the beer, there aren't many choices. They allow you to sample in this tiny little goblet which I thought was very cute but unfortunately, I didn't like any of the beers. There was a green tea chocolate stout which sounded very good but I didn't like it that much because I am not into stouts. Another one that I sampled was the orange blossom which to me tasted a bit more fishy than floral. I was disapointed because I usually like fruity/floral beers. Perhaps if I visit again in the future there were be a beer I really enjoy but this time was disappointing.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been to Fiction several times over the past couple of months and won't be stopping anytime soon. The space is really nice. It's a corner building. Very open, lots of windows. It looks like they are getting ready to open the patio soon and I'm looking forward to spending some summer nights there. The bar is made out of stacked books, titles and authors displayed on the spines. They have a huge bookshelf with a leave one / take one philosophy. And they pop popcorn all day for you if you happen to get peckish and there isn't a food truck outside. If you check out their website they have any events happening and the food truck schedule on there, personally I think every brewery should do this. It sure would make it easier for Jeff to track down that food truck he's in love with. I'm a book nerd and this is one of the reasons why I love Fiction so much. Their brews are all named after various books and they seem to have a decent rotation. They're adventurous with brews too, something I appreciate and enjoy. I think I have tried every single one of their brews. I really like most of them but Feely Effects is my favorite. It's a green tea chocolate milk stout named after Brave New World. *le sigh* We'll be headed back soon because they are about to release another edition of Something Around Barstow and some of that needs to go in my face!

I'm sorry, Fiction, but I'm just not that in to you. I'm really pretty easy to please, I promise. However, with so many other options, I just wasn't impressed with Fiction. I am happy that this was our first stop of the day, because if it were our last, I would have been really disappointed. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon, just after 2pm (when they opened). The place was easy to find and there was plenty of parking out back. As we approached the door, it was locked. The garage door to the patio was open, so we entered through there. There was nobody else in the place, which should have been our first clue I guess. I asked the young lady behind the bar if they were open and she said yes (and looked confused). I mentioned that the door was locked and she seemed a bit annoyed. The tasting room itself is nice. The bar is made of books and the overall theme is literature. The beers are inspired by famous books and each table has a quote on it. You can see the barrels and brewing system, and the room is light and bright. Unfortunately, the beer just fell short for me. We decided to do a taster of each of their available beers, which was $12. I hate to say it, but I didn't like ANY of the offerings. They all tasted very watered down, low in carbonation and one even tasted like soapy water. I love supporting new craft breweries and local businesses and hate to say what a let down this place is. I drink A LOT of great beer, and this place has a long way to go.

My guy and I were having dinner not to far and wanted to check our Fiction beforehand. Upon walking in the 1st thing I smelled was the free popcorn they offer. Not what I expected to smell when walking in to a brewery. We opted for the full sampler and tried all the beers. There were a few we both really liked and others we didn't. Surprisingly I liked the tea milk chocolate and I don't normally go for dark beers. I like the simple décor and seating areas. They have books to read and games to play. What I didn't like was the staff standing directly across from us behind the bar complaining about their salary and other personal issues.

Adored their doughnut/doughnut-flavored beer event with Glazed and Confused. The atmosphere is great and the staff is so enthusiastic and knowledgable about what they do. Would love to see a permanent Glazed and Confused presence here...

Wow, such amazing beer. Decided to stop in and try some samples, and I've now found a few beers that I liked and have actually exceeded my expectations and gone against what I normally order. Examples, below. Belgian style beers. Normally I dislike them for their overly floral aromas and flavors, but the one I had last night really changed my mind. It was crisp and refreshing thanks to the kaffir and just really lovely. It would be a great summer beer. Stouts. I don't like creamy, heavy beer as stouts typically are. This Milk Chocolate Green tea stout was just amazing and really blew me out of the water. It was literally like having a hot chocolate in beer form. If I had known I'd love it that much, I'd have just ordered a full glass of it. Milk chocolate and green tea you think sounds strange? Well the flavors actually play nicely together. Really good stuff, highly recommend you try if you're normally not a stout lover like myself. Of the beers I normally like, I found an awesome IPA as well. Experimental IPA was super tasty. Really sort of fruity but not in a gross and overly powerful sort of way. It made it refreshing. They added hops that have melon-y and citrus-y notes, and added real melon and grapefruit to boost the flavors. The end product was a lovely IPA that would be perfect for a summer day. My advice to you is go check this one out. I know there are a ton of breweries around here, but this one is truly worth a try.

This place is a fantastic blend of good beer and unique atmosphere. The atmosphere is focused on the literary component of "Fiction Brewing". The entire theme of literary brewing is carried through in all aspects of this bar, from the physical bar (made of books of course), to the beer menu (divided into genre's based upon the uniqueness of the beers), to the walls lined with bookshelves (available to borrow and read). The beers were excellent and the genre divisions made perfect sense, from more typical beers (IPA, pale ale) to very unique, (sour, stout with tea, etc), it was easy to figure out what the more adventurous beer choices were. I tried a sour (Waves and Ripples) and a saison (at a loss for the name of this guy), both were atypical of their category in ways that enhanced how enjoyable the beer was! Really looking forward to another visit and another beer.

Very tasty craft beer choices. Go for the Baltic Porter with Lager Yeast, freaking amazing. Not to many Craft brewers doing Lagers, so if you enjoy a nice refreshing Lager, then hit this spot up for a nice treat. Cheers!

This has been a great addition to the neighborhood. The theme has a bit of a hipster feel, but is incredibly comfortable for those of us sans fedoras. They do a great job of changing the beers for variety, but there are consistent stables here. There is always a very good food truck line up. I'm sorry I took so long to review these guys.

Nice room, bright, with a lot of glass. The decor is bordering on used bookstore with tap handles designed to look like bookbindings and beer names taken from famous author's works. I thought the five beers I sampled were fairly solid with the dark Belgian strong with chile flavor but no heat my fav. I like the place and will probably be back to see how they change as they grow into their space and what beers they'll come up with.

My favorite brewery! Unique tasty beers combined with excellent customer service in a charming location make this my go-to brewery. The fact that each of their beers are named after a book with a short paragraph story takes my love to a whole new level. Parking is easy with ample spots in the back as well as plenty of street parking. The relaxed and thoughtful decor put you at ease right when you walk in the door. I am crazy about their bar - which is made from books! The patio is on the back, so it has the benefits of sitting outdoors without the traffic sound or grit that you can experience when on a patio on Colfax. Food trucks rotate through daily and are always delicious. If the food truck isn't your thing, they also have menus available that deliver to the restaurant. You can tell that customer care is an important part of their business model. When I was recently there with a friend and her family, we asked for a glass of water. The water is self-serve (I had spaced this) and though she could have just pointed us at the water, she graciously provided the water without a word of reproach. The little ones weren't tidy as little ones generally aren't, but there were no stink-eyes or grumpy looks! I love how family-friendly, understanding and kind they are! I have been there for Trivia night, discussion groups with the library and just to hang out with friends and/or my sweetie. I almost always order the samplers because I just can't decide which of their brews I like the most! It's a good place for this as the music is never so loud that you can't hear who you are talking to and it's nice and bright so you can see your friends lovely faces. It's also like a little free library in that you can take and leave copies of books! There are board games available, though usually people are having such a good time talking and eating I don't see them in use much. I nearly always leave with a growler too!

  • Lauren B.

This is my neighborhood bar. The staff is THE BEST!!! So incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and fun! Trivia every Thursday...a rotating food truck...outdoor patio with giant Jenga...free popcorn....couches and board games. Oh and the beer...! The beer is truly great. Their two IPAs are perfectly hoppy and flavorful. They are definitely adventurous with a sour, or mixing hibiscus or dragon fruit. And it's all delicious. This is a place worth coming to and coming to often!

  • Nicky K.

I like the overall concept and atmosphere. Beer is okay, pretty standard for a brewery with some interesting flavors here and there (I do like the Green Tea Chocolate porter), but nothing exceptionally mind blowing. That said, we purchased two 64 oz. growlers that cost $64. Most growlers have ranged $12-$20 per fill at other breweries depending on the beer (special batches excepted). $32 per growler seems a bit steep to me when most breweries will drop the cost per ounce if you're buying a growler rather than multiple pours. I may stop in from time to time when I'm in the neighborhood, but the beer isn't good enough to warrant that cost.

This place is a must try. I love the fun, laid back atmosphere, and of course, the beer is amazing! It's an interesting place with a great new patio, fun environment, and if you like microbrews, this is it!

  • Molly S.

I had to give this place four stars because the beer really was good and the staff was friendly. Quite honestly, I found the atmosphere to be a bit pretentious, though. The menu (aka Table of Contents) was ridiculously long, explaining in depth the connections between the beer and some sort of literary work. I came to be impressed by their brew, not their vocabulary. But that's just me. I appreciate language arts, but not so much with my beer. A growler to go would be divine, though

Not bad. The IPA was refreshing but the other beers were just ok.

I'm a Bibliophile first and a beer lover second, so believe me when I say that I really wanted to love Fiction. The concept is to die for and the atmosphere is on point. It's bright and open while still maintaining a cozy appeal. There are plenty of books and smart nods to literature. The beer itself is quite good - I tried a few and liked them all. Nothing blew me out of the water, but I was satisfied. These things combined and I could see myself visiting on a regular basis, if not for the horrific service. I arrived around 6:30pm on a weeknight to meet a friend. It was not yet crowded at this point. When I sat down, my friend let me know that there was table service so I didn't need to go the bar. I wasn't in a rush, so I got into a conversation and waited for the server to come by. Before I knew it, 30 minutes had passed without so much as a "hello." At that point, another friend had arrived. I let them know I'd been waiting a while, so we both decided to go up to the bar. When my friend got up to the bar, the server immediately came up to him and said, "I was just waiting for you to sit down. There's table service, you can't order up here." Her tone was extremely nasty and she even rolled her eyes. Somehow, I was invisible to her, so I ordered from the bartender without issue. My friend, on the other hand, felt so uncomfortable that he was considering leaving. From that point in the evening, the server no longer waited on our table (though she flashed several dirty looks at us through the night) and the bartender took care of our table. He was perfectly nice, but did not acknowledge the server's behavior. I go out for a drink to relax and enjoy time with my friends, not to be made to feel uncomfortable and awkward. I loved the concept of Fiction, but I'd rather be in a place that makes me happy.

Ended up having a date here. The atmosphere is cool and so is the look. I'm a non-fiction fan who can appreciate a fun place and Fiction Beer does not disappoint. I enjoyed the food truck and live music they had as well. Went with the Green Tea Chocolate Milk Stout. It was super mellow as far as beers are concerned. I'm not a huge beer drinker because of hops and wheat being allergies but I really enjoyed the two of these I had. Burger Radio food truck was there and their burgers were super yummy! Definitely a fun and hip spot to check out and I'm sure I'll be back sometime.

Stumbled upon this brewery during a bike ride. Great little spot! Cozy front room, with tables and some couches, and then a great back porch. Good selection of beers. Great service as well, very friendly and helpful bartender. Would definitely come back here.

I love Fiction for the name and concept alone. The bar is made of books, the beers are inspired by books, and there's even a free swap book shelf for one to grab or leave something. I ordered the Old Bums and Beat Cowboys, a pale ale. I later asked for a taster of the Are Redheads Supernatural red, which is based on the works of one of my all time favorite authors. I really didn't have another beer in me or I would have immediately followed up with a couple of these. An excellent balance of flavors and tastes made my face happy. It's very spacous inside, easy to find, and the staff were all super friendly. I can see myself coming back here lots. Cheers!

A great place to stop in on a weekend afternoon for a beer. It would be awesome if they had a patio, but lots of ample parking. But it's the beers you want to know about, right? The IPA which is a go to for us was very drinkable and fragrant. They have different categories of beers that follow a literary theme..stick to the IPA under the classics. The double IPA was a little much. I usually am more experimental in what I like to try and I was really impressed by the Waves and Ripples, it was just the right blend of light and sour for a hot day. Service was nice and friendly, we'll definitely return.

Let's say your bored, wondering what to do or simply just looking to relax reading a book, work on the computer, play a board game and sip a refreshing beverage! Then Fiction Beer is a place you can enjoy with friends and family. The beers are attached to a story and temped at a perfect degree. So hurry down and choose your adventure as the bar stated !

Literature and alcohol go together famously, and in this case, perfectly. The environment is a big win (see photo of the bar).. The book references in beer are even better. I am pleased to finally have made it here, as it has been on my list for a while!

I don't drink and yet I had a good time at Fiction with my drinking friends. It was actually a great place for a non-drinker as they had a handful of specialty, locally made non-alcoholic sodas on the menu, so even I got to try something new. I had the Elderberry which was quite good! Overall a great, laid back atmosphere. As a side note, I love the open layout of the bar and how much natural light they get. Of all of the breweries I have gone to with friends over the years, this is the first one that didn't make me feel like I was walking into a cave.

This place was a big disappointment, especially because we were hoping to love a bike-able brewery. I will say that, as an English teacher, I loved the vibe. We had a flight, so we could try a bit of everything. Sadly, nothing struck me. The pale and the pilsner both tasted watered down and kind of devoid of flavor. We had a sour, which I liked, but I only like a little bit of a sour beer. I'm always looking for a brewery that can make a flavorful pale ale that doesn't go super sweet or super hoppy. Anyway, we'll probably give this place a second chance, but I was not blown away.

Visited this new brewery this past Saturday afternoon, and I think they are off to a nice start. We tried the Old Bums and Beat Cowboys, The Dreamer, Are Redheads Supernatural?, Autumn Stars, and one of their science-fiction brews (can't remember what it was called). Some pros and cons, in my opinion: Pros Space - Homey but clean, spacious, and airy. Tables, couches, and armchairs - I love a variety of seating options. They have bookshelves with a pretty nice collection of books, which they let you give/take from! I love that. Tables - crafted from old barrels? Not sure, but they have a slight curve to them that suggests that. Makes for a not-quite-flat tabletop surface, but it's cool. Garage door - located on the back (vs. the traditional front) of the room, you overlook the backyard and parking pot. Actually nicer than it sounds, and a definite step up from a Colfax overlook. Parking Lot - great, big parking lot out back Free Popcorn - I love free popcorn! Hooray! Babies - included my own, there were 3 babies in there! Service - everyone was super nice. Beers - very interesting beer options, and they serve either glasses or tasters/flights. Cons Beers - most of the beers were very "interesting" with additional ingredients added (fruits, veggies, herbs, chocolate, etc). They sounded awesome, but I honestly didn't think they tasted as good as they were described, and I did not love any beer that I tried (Supernatural was a little metallic tasting, Autumn Stars was good but not amazing). They were fine, but not outstanding - and I don't feel the need to go back to try any of them again... All this said, 3 stars = A-Okay. This place is a-okay. While we didn't love it, I can see going back in a few months once they have more time and experience under their belts, and then hopefully I can update my review/rating.

As a librarian, Fiction should be the place for me. I love the idea of having books that are free to borrow (without needing a library card) whilst enjoying a nice brew. However, I was a little disappointed to see that Fiction mostly caters to the IPA drinkers. I'm not against IPA's, but I like to have a little more variety to choose from. All the beers seemed pretty hoppy anyway. And our server was a little awkward at times. Sometimes she would just stand by us silently like she was expecting us to tell her we needed something when we were clearly not in need of her service. It's a cool concept, but I don't love the place.

I have enjoyed both of my visits to fiction beer company. I love that they experiment with the traditional beer types and they are not afraid to take risks, but what I like the most about this brewery is that the service they provide is amazing and for someone who pays particular attention to the service I receive they have provided great service to me both times and that makes a difference to me. Many breweries make great beer in Denver, but just like anything else I know I will like some more than others, but what I appreciate and what brings me back is the attentive service and Fiction Beer company will definitely get my business again.

Fiction is great. The bartenders are friendly and happy to talk (thoughtfully) about any of the beers. It's a nice new brewery in Denver. I love that they have a library in their beer space. I'll be back!

I love the place. The place is new, clean and in an easy to get to place off Colfax and Quebec. The atmosphere is great and they normally have decent food trucks stopping in. Was in this Friday and they had their first live band. The beer is good however being a small brewery it takes a while for a beer you might like to come back around. Overall, great for a quick happy hour with friends. The IPAs are my favorite.

This a great new, little brewery over on E Colfax! We got there right as a food truck was packing up which was kind of a bummer because it was still pretty early. The beers were great.. a smaller selection but the bartender did not hesitate to let me try a few samples before committing. I thought this was great because at most smaller breweries, the bartenders will just describe the beer and make it a little uncomfortable when you ask to try.. or worse, when you say you don't like it! The bartender here just simply grabbed another small glass and poured me another taster. My only suggestion for improvement is the interior. The bar is made of books and then there's a small bookshelf that I think was a take one/leave one type of thing. The rest of the seating was hard tables and chairs. I would definitely consider coming here to study over a beer but I'm not sure if I could get comfy anywhere. Regardless of the seating, props on great customer service and tasty new brews!

I finally made it over here and the space is beautiful. Parking was easier than expected, and the concept is cool. Sadly, the service was really lacking and the beer was only ok. It wasn't particularly busy, but the bartender completely forgot my drink and was not very nice about it when I inquired about it. :(

Next time, I'm going without a group so I can have all the popcorn to myself and read a book without feeling guilty for not fulfilling societal norms. Quick things: I liked the beer. It didn't make me an addict like other breweries, but it's good. I look forward to their future products like next year's sour. Thanks for all the popcorn. And I like how they have so many books available to read!

Love checking out Denver's new breweries. This place is 13 days old, and IMHO, their brewmaster has great skills. Tried all six offerings - all decent, three are special (This Is Not an Exit, Somewhere Around Barstow, and Autumn Stars). Great space, friendly staff, well worth your beer dollar.

I've been here twice so far, once on opening weekend, and once for an early date night with my husband. The beer is good -- we drink quite a variety of beers, and we've been impressed so far, although the first time we got a growler of Autumn Stars, and I didn't think it held up later. The first visit, we were at the bar and it was crowded and opening weekend -- busy, a little slow, whatever. On our second visit, though, the service was SO SLOW, it took a long, long time to get our couple of glasses of beer. And it is SO LOUD IN THIS PLACE that we could hardly converse. Every time someone pulled out a chair, it sounded like gunfire. Add that to the 3 young couples who brought their kids in (because bars are for children, right??) -- and we were turned off and couldn't wait to leave. I hope they'll get some sound baffles and maybe the parents can get a sitter and have a night out at an adult place -- without the kids.

I just returned from a trip to Denver. I was amazed by the number of micro breweries there. And amazed by the beers they served. My favorite a double IPA at Fiction on Colfax Street just two blocks west of Quebec St. was named Communal Synergy after TC Boyle's Drop City. I loved the book. And now I love the beer! What a great idea pairing beers with remarkable works of fiction. The Taproom has a friendly environment and staff. And best of all they have a great selection of books available for trading. I travel to Denver a lot and Fiction Beer Company will definitely be seeing me again. Next time maybe I will try somthing more adventurous like their 10.5% Belgium Quadruple.

Interesting but generally underwhelming beers, awkward (not in a fun way) and inattentive servers, way out of the way.....just another brewery that there is no need to visit ever again (unless the beers get way better).

I wanted to love fiction so much. A new brewery combing craft beer and books within walking distance from my house, we were so excited. We've been a few times now and I think went back the last time as a last ditch effort to love it. And it's really just ok. For one thing, the beer always seems so flat. It's like it was poured and sat there for a day except that it comes straight from the tap. Maybe it's a problem with their lines and it can be fixed but if not and they're purposely making flat beer I don't get it. Their beers also try to hard to work with the literature tie in. Some of them make no sense as a beer but exist for some obscure quote. The only beer I've enjoyed neigh to get a pint of was the milk chocolate green tea stout which again was so flat! Finally, the staff and service are mediocre at best. They're never very friendly whether it's crowded or empty. There are so many great breweries in town, if you're prioritizing id skip this one.

A great addition to the Denver beer scene - like any brewery, there may be some kinks to settle out, but overall the space worked (loved the comfy chairs), the beer was good - not astoundingly so but good - I liked their hoppier offerings, like the double IPA, and the pale was a little bigger than most you'll find, kind of in the vein of Odell's Five Barrel with less of a malt back. I was there with a local women's beer group and we were well taken care of - no complaints there. We learned a great deal about how Fiction came to be, how they brew, and the overall philosophy behind the place. As an avid reader, I do love the concept, especially the process they undertake to name their beers. I'm sure they'll work more on sound mitigation - it's tough in spaces like that to make it less noisy, and goodness knows our group contributed to the noise level - rarely do I visit a tap room where loudness is not a problem. LOVED the free popcorn. Ryan was a gracious host and he answered all of our questions with interest and good humor. This place is a keeper for the neighborhood, and I'm confident that it will only get better. And when it does, I'll be the first one to give it 5 stars.

I Love Fiction Beer Co. The beers have been interesting since the start and are getting better and better. Great service, really warm accommodating servers. Great concept, great execution. I'm in here at least once a week to read and drink. The new Gose is PERFECT, they nailed it. LONG LIVE.

This place is just alright. I love the idea of a literary themed brewery, but I think the execution is lacking. The lights are too bright, the atmosphere just feels a bit tacky to me. I had the sampler flight. I liked half the beers, (they were out of the IPA) the other half seemed watered down to me. I would not go out of my way to come here.

Definitely put this one on your list of craft breweries to check out! I love literary theme with beers inspired by Hunter S. Thompson and Jack Kerouac. The bar is made of books = awesome! Semi-hipster. Super friendly owners and staff. It's a new space, clean, and a really comfortable set up. More importantly, the beers are worth the stop! The Dreamer was a very drinkable IPA for those of us who are on the fence about IPAs. I liked the Pale Ale called Old Bums and Beat Cowboys and definitely The Farmlight, listed as an All Colorado American Amber.

BEST NEW BREWERY in town!! ALL of the beers are delicious and strong! The theme is very creative and the atmosphere is perfect for drinking tasty beers, socializing with friends, reading books, and playing board games. I can't wait to go back! Cheers!
