It's a good neighborhood bagel shop. The service is okay and a clean table is hard to find. Not the best bagel or breakfast in town but definitely good for a quick breakfast. A plus is that they offer free wifi so you can surf the web while you enjoy your coffee and bagel.

If you want crappy slow service, then I highly recommend this place. Almost five times now I've gone there and I've stood at the register while the employees are chatting and no one offering to take my order. Then the amount of time from ordering to getting my order is ridiculously long. There's staff just hanging out by the bagels and my order is not being made; what the hell? I love the einsteins downtown but this is just the worst one and I don't think they understand how much more business they could be doing if they just had some sort of customer service. Oh well, they've lost me as a customer.

Wow, slow service, sandwich missing half its top. I ordered two sandwiches, both are supposed to come with sides. Only got one, asked the gal, she said I did not get two. Was not going to argue. Will never go back..............

Three of us waited in the Coffee Express line this morning. After 15 minutes of being ignored, we all walked next door to Starbucks.

I like this Einstein Bros. Their breakfast sandwiches are consistent and tasty. Their coffee is better than Starbucks (sorry to you insane Starbucks fanatics out there. Please don't firebomb my house). They have ample seating and a nice patio right in that new 28th Ave. shopping area that really seems to be turning into a decent destination. To be clear- it's a bagel shop, so it's not going to change your world. But it's a good bagel shop. I also don't subscribe to the "you're not from New York, so you don't know good bagels" philosophy. That may be true, but I'm not looking for good New York style bagels. If I were, I would go to New York. I'm able to appreciate pizza, bagels, coffee and baseball outside of New York City. I know that some of you are not. I'm not saying I'm right. I'm probably not. But if I couldn't eat food outside of NYC, living in Denver would be difficult. I always get the egg and turkey sausage sandwich on a green chili bagel. It's awesome. My wife is healthier, so she always gets asparagus and spinach on a bagel thin. It's very good as well.

This is only the second place I have given 1 star to. To be clear, I think all Einstein's have bad bagels. It is like a piece of Wonder bread with a hole punched through the middle. The kids like them however since they did not grow up near NYC. The major problem with this place is they are constantly out of bagels on Sunday morning. That is like running out of pumpkins a month before Halloween. When I asked why, the said "BECUZ WE BIN BUZY". Really, every week and you can't figure it out. I complained to corporate and they gave me coupons. Instead, I just plan ahead and go to Safeway whose bagels (as a supermarket) are far superior.

Meh for what's in the neighborhood... I have had better. Hard to find a clean table and seems uber cramped. Surprised that they have NO gluten free... or even gluten sensitive menu items with Udi's right down the street. Microwaved or whatever egg was bland, rubbery and had no taste. and seriously....SCALDING hot coffee.... =(

My company just ordered sandwiches from here. The experience was so poor it motivated me to write as I eat my Club Mex on challah. First of all, no one got their sides of fruit or potato salad. Chips were easy because you could just grab those. Also, there were no pickles. Another person ordered a sandwich that had avocado, but when he opened it there was no avocado. My particular sandwich called to me because of the fresh tasting sounds of turkey, bacon, and ancho mayo. It's boring. There's no spice. Then I found out the person that picked this up ordered while in line. The person did not take any notes down. Instead they attempted to rely on their memory. That did not work out so well. Overall, this was quite an unsatisfactory experience.

For months we drove by the Einstein location on Colorado Boulevard on our way elsewhere, and over and over I'd comment that fresh bagels sounded pretty good. We finally stopped in here for a late morning pick me up a few mornings ago. Our bagels were fresh and as ordered. I foresee us returning in the future.

Abysmal service! I watched as three people who ordered bagel sandwiches AFTER me get served first, before I got my Tasty Turkey, a basic sandwich which SHOULD not have taken over 25 mins to make. If you are going to hire young people, shouldn't you train them to offer good and efficient service??? Ridiculous!

How wasted were all of these employees last night? I'm cool with waiting but witnessing these employees is like watching the Walking Dead. No urgency. No one smiles. No one cares. One guy tried to bite me. Expect to wait too long for a mediocre bagel. Good luck.

Einsteins is always delicious! This particular location was friendly and pretty clean. It was fairly empty when I came in on a week day around 1. Not exactly bagel prime time, and they were still a bit slow. Also, there were lots of crumbs on the booth seat. It's definitely not a big deal, but if there's only a few people in your store, I'd expect it to be tidy. Anyways, you can't beat the bagels and schmear. I love that garden veggie!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I would've given it NO STARS but Yelp does not allow that. They not only forgot about us but we had to stand back in line to let someone know that we never received our order. NO ONE would make eye contact with us for us to even catch their attention - it's not like we were standing around for our health. On top of all that our order wasn't even made and when it was it was wrong. Two measley cards for free lunch or breakfast isn't going to make up for the wait, the TERRIBLE customer service, the wrong order and being late for work. The only reason they're open is their location. NOT COMING BACK HERE EVER!!!! EVER!!!!

I grabbed a bagel sandwich here with some other folks the other morning. The staff was friendly enough. The line did not move especially quickly, and there seemed to be some confusion as to who would be accepting payment at the dual registers. The price was okay (not ridiculous, but not especially affordable). The quality of the bagel sandwich itself was acceptable. The parking spots immediately in front of the restaurant are actually "do not park / no stopping" zones, but that did not seem to deter most people. There are not a lot of spots within one block of the place, but if you are willing to go out two blocks, it is less of an issue. They had some "doggy bagels" by the register, which seemed cool. But $1.25 each was rather pricey. I did enjoy the rather large outdoor patio.

Search online for mobile coupons. Just got a free bagel & shear with the purchase of a drink. Pumpkin latte is good... Almost as good as Starbucks!

I've been to this place several times and the service has always been slow. Today I ordered a blueberry muffin. There were several other people in line. When they made our order (2 drinks, a bagel, and the muffin) they made each item individually and handed them to us, five minutes apart. The muffin was forgotten about and when they handed us our second drink, they said have a nice day, totally forgetting about the muffin. When I said, we ordered a blueberry muffin as well, they went over to the case and saw there were no more blueberry muffins. They had given the last one to another customer in line behind me. It's not the muffin I really cared about, but their lack of customer service to remedy the situation. They could have cared less they sold the muffin to the other customer, when I had ordered it first in line.

A nice staple to the Stapleton neighborhood - hey that sounds kinda neat. LMAO Been here twice in the past two days for some breakfast and I think I like what they have. Yesterday I had a toasted Everything bagel with light cream cheese (yum). Today I had an Everything bagel (can you tell I love Everything bagels??) with cheddar cheese, sausage, egg, with a little tomato. I also bought a tub of Sun-dried tomato and basil cream cheese to add to my bagel sandwich. It was some of the best cream cheese I've ever had! They lose one star for being out of bacon - how can anyone ever be outta bacon???? That's like not having a place to live.... Great place for breakfast or lunch or to grab some bagels for work.

So I'm a fan of Einstein in general. I show up this morning at 6:20 am and was surprised to not see any bagels already put out, considering they opened at 6. Why wouldn't there be any bagels out already? What if a big breakfast rush comes in or someone who wants 7 bagels? How will they know what's cooking and what they don't have? I think, and this is why I'm only giving it 3 stars, that the staff needs to show up at 5 to make sure that the bagels are cooked and ready to be served and to continue making bagels till they think they have enough to cover a 20 person rush. I wouldn't have been surprised if the coffee wasn't even being made either. Yes I would go back for the breakfast bagels no doubt as it was very very good like always.
