A simple and straightforward concept in a nice area. Prices are a bit high but it fits with their clientele. They have a very nice but limited cheese selection that you can choose from to take home with you.

So many cheeses to choose from it's actually frustrating to know that I can't try them all at once. All of their Spanish goat cheeses are delicious, especially the one covered in Rosemary (can't remember the name). Great date spot, especially the date night deal that comes with a cheese plate and bottle of wine for $25. 5/5 would recommend!

Great wine and cheese selection however we got a beer and the quinoa salad :) Definitely try quinoa salad - it was delish!

Quaint restaurant on Platte St. Small atmosphere. The food is very good, service is nice. Fun loft atmosphere. Mix of sandwiches, soup, and salad to pick from for lunch. Also have a few chocolates and gourmet cheese to pick from. However it is expensive! I paid $17 for a sandwich, side of salad and chips the other day. Not sure if I want to stomach that again. It's good, but not $17 good. Value is not there.

EAT + DRINK....but unfortunately I only had the opportunity to drink because I came post-brunch & had little appetite for food. The breakdown: Around $8 for a class of wine & $12 for a flight of three wines (flight options: red or white). I tried the red flight which surprisingly came out to be three full glasses of wine . I thought I'd get a wine teaser but the quantity of wine in the flight was definitely doing more than teasing me. The red flight: 1. tempranillo: muse by pollyanna | rioja, spain | supple.earthy.silky 2. malbec 3. something that starts w/ a c that is not chardonnay nor cabernet sauvignon Also tried a pinot noir. The waitress was polite & seemed genuinely sweet. I came during an afternoon lull & had the place to myself so the atmosphere definitely felt relaxing. It's not the most inviting or cozy of shops because of the tall ceiling, bright windows & proximity of the front door to the counter then to the seats but I thought the brick walls & worn wood floor were homey. Review to come for when I try the cheese & small plates.

I am a cheese and wine fanatic and this place is where it is at! I found them on yelp and decided to try it out. I am a happy camper. The cheese is so fresh, savory and delicious. But the waitress is what makes the place. She was kind and attentive and knew when to come around. Great wine. I had the Pinot noir which was perfect. Sat on the patio and just people watched. Love it here.

Quite good. Free Wi-Fi Soothing background music Light wood decor Hefty Fortessa flatware Cloth napkins We had a relaxing Saturday lunch with a glass of wine (pink Garnacha and white Verdejo). The gazpacho was interesting and tasty. The croque sandwich was delicious.

Ate Chicken Salad for dinner. It was exceptional. Just the right quantity and very good quality. Prepared it with care and served with a smile by Stephanie. Visited for dinner and tried two more items. Excellent preparations.

I mean! This whole restaurant is dedicated to cheese plates and drinking wine. What's not to love friends? And even though I didn't drink any wine the day I went most recently (because it was for a lunch meeting) I still have a mad crush on Eat + Drink. It's small and friendly and casual. I think it would be a really fun spot for a date and I know it's a really great spot for lunch, either solo or on a meeting. My only wish is that they would be open later than 8 pm. Because then I could have more date nights there with Sir Nicholas.

Some friends and I stopped in here for a glass of wine and sample some cheese. We got one of the meats & cheese sample boards and it was delicious. They have a excellent wine selection and their available cheeses is something to be admired.

I have had this place on my "go-to" list for quite some time. Finally, my husband and I tried it out a few weeks back. We stopped in for a light dinner of wine and cheese. The place itself is very cute and looks like it would be a great place to purchase cheese to take home. We wanted to not eat at home though so we ordered some cheese, bruschetta, and wine to enjoy there. The service was very nice but a touch on the slow side. We were the only ones "dining in" at that time so I was hoping that it would be a little bit more prompt. I also don't know if I got enough to eat for a dinner but it would be a great place for lunch. Or, like I said above, a great place to purchase cheese at!

This is one of these establishments that you go into and you overwhelmed and inspired by your senses, If you are a Wanabee food network chef this is the place for you to inspire you sit and see all the different cheeses some almost unpronounceable but great to taste, that will start turning of what you can put those great cheeses and different meals different dishes on and on it's a great place for the senses , On an exterior note the ramp could use just a little smoothing over but it is disabled accessible a great place hope to come back soon

What can I say? I was a devoted fan of Eat!Drink! in Edwards and am so happy Polly and Chris decided to open up a shop in Denver. Cheap Date Night is the best deal around. You get a bottle of wine and 3 cheeses for $25. And their cheese selection for a place you can hang out and enjoy it doesn't compare to any other place in Denver. I do miss the one-stop-shop aspect of the Eat!Drink! in Edwards, but I love this place and I love the staff. They're so attentive (but not overbearingly so when you're with friends or a date hanging out) and knowledgable. I don't know many other places in Denver you can get such a fantastic selection of wines by the glass that you've never even tried. Heck, I'm a wine enthusiast and there was stuff on the menu I've never tried! You're free to sample everything they have and they're so gracious about it. Next time you want to Eat! (cheese) + Drink! (wine), this should be your destination!

What's not to like?? Wine, cheese, delicious nosh....I'm a happy girl. We tried all the bruschetta and they were quite tasty... not at all like traditional bruschetta, more like cheese + toppings, but still very good. Also tried the Spanish cheese plate and a couple of wine flights and everything went incredibly well together. I will go back again and again so I can try everything.

  • Amanda D.

I really enjoyed the wine, cheese selection, and the olive oil. We went on a Tuesday and apparently they have a"cheap date night" which was a bottle of wine and cheese plate for $25, which is a great. I would of given it more stars, but the two women working while polite, were extremely slow. We were the only people there for awhile and it took forever to get the cheese plates. I can understand that the presentation was nice, and it is not that quick, but I think it could have been plated more quickly. I'm not sure how long it would take when it is busy. I will go again, maybe it was just an off day.

Cheeeeeeese! Glorious, plentiful, bountiful cheese! Before coming here, I was unaware that I could make a whole meal based solely around different types of delicious imported cheese........ How wrong I was. My trusty foodie companion Courtney B. brought me here, raving the whole way about how amazing it was. When we came in, we went to the counter and were given samples of all the cheeses we wanted to try. Then, we had a seat and poured over the menu. We ended up sharing a panini - I cant remember the name of the one we tried but it had prosciutto and fig preserves with a cheese I also can't remember the name of .... the sandwich itself was QUITE memorable, however. The mix of meat and fruit, savory and sweet was just perfect. We also had all three of the different types of bruschetta they make, along with the cheese sampler plate. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the women working there were all very nice and helpful. I can't wait to go back and eat more CHEESE!!!

This is strictly for the cheese....but cheese is life. I love going here when we visit- we're able to get Humboldt Fog and Cowgirl Creamery because we're spolied little Bay Area foodies, aren't we? But it makes me smile to see that Denver shares our appreciation! What we have a harder time finding is Buffalo burrata and mozzarella - and love getting it, and many other wonderful cheeses, here when we visit! The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable, and helped us discover some new favorites!

Super friendly service, great location, and an atmosphere that's both inviting and polished. Great place to grab wine with friends and then have a bite. I think we stayed after closing time but never felt rushed or even knew that they closed (except for checking later).

Yummmmm we dropped in one day and the staff was super friendly! We got some wine and I think we had burratta, which is hand pulled mozzarella. I may have spelled it wrong, but it was super delicious! I'd like to try their cheap date night! I definitely recommend this place!

Eat + Drink is a wonderful new addition to Platte Street and will soon become a beloved staple of the neighborhood. I would consider it a cheese shop and a lovely dining stop for lunch or dinner. They offer a good variety of reasonably priced wine by the glass or bottle. Take your pick, they have red, white, rose, and sparkling. The menu is simple and offers, charcuterie boards, small plates, salads, paninis, and sandwiches. They also have a cute shop with a variety of cheeses, chocolates, fresh bread, sausage and other little items. If you're looking for a gourmet cheese basket, this place sure would make a great one for any of your friends (they offer a variety of sizes). I had the pleasure of trying The Emilia, a panini with prosciutto, mozzarella, pesto, tomatoes, and truffle oil. This panini had wonderful flavor and was the perfect lunch destination for my Mom and I on a sunny afternoon. Each ingredient had a purpose and added much needed texture and deliciousness to each bite. The women working here are very sweet and will answer any of your questions and will also allow you to sample some of their cheeses to make an educated decision. On a sunny day I could see myself making use of their wonderful patio, enjoying a glass of wine and some of their decadent cheese.

Once upon a time in Denver there was this sketchy area of Denver surrounded by warehouses and railroad tracks to venture there you had to know where you were going..get there and get out. At least that was what it was like when I was a wee little girl in Denver. But as the City grew and expanded it did so into this area now known as Confluence Park and Riverfront. The beauty of this area is a show of what can happen with planning and growth in a community to help to make it prosper. Located on Platte just near the bridge that walks you over to the Highlands and walking distance from REI is this fabulous wine & cheese emporium, so subtle in its appearance from the street you would hardly know it is there. It is the sister restaurant of Eat!Drink! in Edwards and offers wine, beer, small salads, sandwiches and soup. But mostly an ambience of a new found favorite deli..Denver Style. Meats so fresh and cheeses so remarkable that you aren't overwhelmed with the petite presentation of your order when dining there. I was there for a small intimate group dinner - well not dinner as much as an evening of 15 friends with wine and conversation and bites. It seats not more then 20 at most, and if you bring a group be sure to call ahead. In the winter come sit inside and watch the snow fall or in the summer sit outside on the patio and watch all the locals walking around. There are lots of other great places near by so you can begin or end your day here. One of the conversation we had at dinner was in regards to the area as I sated in the beginningthis area has grown and it is beautiful and neighborly. Much is happening in Denver and this is just one of those areas worth your time to check out. Cheers to the idea of sharing and good wine and cheese plates. Hint a nice intimate place for Valentine's and they sell cheese and wine as well. All you will need to get else where are the flowers... eatdrinkinc.com/eat-drin…

I showed up around 7:45 pm, not realizing they were closing at 8...the two employees were so nice. Not only did they offer me a glass of wine while they cleaned up shop, they kept the doors open, chatted a while, and even topped off my glass! I didn't have a chance to eat, didn't want to push my luck, but I will absolutely be back... Best service I've had in a very long time!! The owners must be lovely---their staff truly respects them and their establishment. I'm beyond impressed.

We really enjoyed our wine, cheese plate, and paninis here. The Tuesday "cheap date night" special (bottle of wine and 3 cheeses with bread) was a good deal for $25, but we ended up getting more food for dinner. It's a great scheme to get you in! But honestly, we really enjoyed the food, wine, and the service here.

Enjoyed a perfect afternoon on the patio. LOVED the olives! Also loved the burrata appetizer and the Pinot Gris. The Pinot Grigio was also very good. Overall, it's a super cute place with a great menu!

I recently attended a small party/event at Eat + Drink and they easily won me over. You will get no complaints from me when wine + cheese are involved. The staff was very accommodating of our group. I believe we had the place reserved, since we kind of packed the entire thing out, but it would be a great place for small gatherings. I'd definitely go check it out again on my own.

This place is great. The paninis had so much flavor in them. I got the Croque, and my girlfriend got the Arti. You could taste every ingredient in each one. There was a great proportion of cheese in each one, not overpowering but perfectly complimenting. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner. Delicious!

$20 Tuesday date nights!!!! My boyfriend and I love going here for a bottle of wine and great cheese!! And best of all for $20 !! You get your choice of red or white wine...I think we had a rose once, but we usually order their malbec/tempernillo. You also get to choose your cheeses. If you're unsure the server can help you decide. They are usually pretty knowledgeable about their cheeses. They also give you a bit of bread and some nuts and fruit. Not only is this a cute little place to have lunch or snack, but it's also a cheese shop! So if you really love your cheese, you can buy some for home!! The only reason why it is not a 5 star is because they do not serve dinner entrees. We usually have our cheese and wine and then have to search for dinner afterwards. But all in all --great!

I've only gotten items from the counter, but I'll be back soon for dinner. If you live in the area or are passing through, they've got foods that will make your guests BEG for an invitation to come back again. Salumi, olives, cornichons, and more will make your cocktail party (or afternoon snack) special. Oh, and did I mention the chocolate? Ritual Chocolate, Mast Brothers...only the good stuff here. They have a nice cheese selection, and the quality is great. That quality comes at a price, so if you're on a budget be careful. That sample is free, but next thing you know you're pulling out the credit card for cheeses that you MUST. HAVE. NOW. While I gasped at the price of the delicious cheddar I bought, my bf and I agreed that it was worth every one of the many pennies I paid for it. They also have some cheeses that I haven't been able to find elsewhere in town.

Gotta love a good cheese shop! When I walked into this shop, I fell in love. They have a small, but good selection of nice cheeses, wines, and accoutrements. My friends and I bought some cheese, pâté, and a baguette today, and it was all amazing. I can't get enough stinky cheese, and they have a good selection at Eat + Drink; not only that, but I was told they rotate their selections, so I can't wait to see what else they stock in the future. The girls that work in the shop are also really friendly and willing to help. They held our cheese for us while we walked around the neighborhood, and let us sample the cheeses before we bought any. I'm glad we found this place, and we'll be back to try their happy hour and Tuesday date night special.

What an outstanding little import shop! My husband and I were really early for a birthday dinner at Sushi Sasa, so we went for a walk and stumbled upon eat + drink. The second I saw it was a imported cheese shop, I nearly bolted through the glass doors. We had to be really careful not to fill up, which was hard. I wanted to eat everything. We settled on 2 bruschettas. The riccotta which was topped with honey and crushed pistachios and the chevre, which had red pear and pomegranate molasses. They were a nice size, served on house ciabatta bread and they were cut in half so we could share. I loved the chevre, though it was too tangy for my husband. If you don't like tang or tart, don't get this. The ricotta was amazing! It was like eating a dessert. I understand why European's do a cheese course for dessert now. They also carry a line of "dry sodas" and the dry vanilla bean went beautifully with these. Oh and did I mention they let us sample whatever we wanted to?! I can't wait to return with Abby Q., my cheesy cohort in food crime. :)

If I could live here, I would. If they let me crawl into their cheese case, I would roll around blissfully eating everything until I was so full, I looked like the guy who died of gluttony in the movie Seven. The selection of cheeses is phenomenal - from every region of all the famous cheese-makers in the world: Humbolt Fog, Truffle Tremor, Delice de Bourgogne, Fromage d'Affinois, Robiola (can you tell I like soft cheeses?), just to name a few. They have amazing olives (castelvetrano !!), chocolates and gluten free crackers that are delicious. Everyone that works there is lovely (Richard, Nancy, Matt, Pollyanna-owner). They are helpful and let me taste everything and I always end up buying more than I intended. Their happy hour is also fun and fantastic!! Once I finish the kerjillion pounds of cheese I just bought, I will be back!

This small and charming cheese and wine shop exudes quaint in every sense of the word. Located on the Platte, it provides that perfect escape from a stressful day or just a peaceful break from the shopping and numerous things things to do along the pleasant Platte stroll. I wondered in, not really with huge intent on where I was headed for the afternoon, and was immediately inspired to stay. I was greeted warmly and never once felt out of place for dining by myself. I had planned on camping out here for a while to get some work done, with which they had no problem. I had concerns as this place is not only teen and adorable, but not your ambiance to claim your spot at a table or couch and camp out for hours as you study of work. Though, I did linger longer than I should and it was acceptable, this place is more suited for a light and lovely lunch with a glass of wine from their wonderful and extensive inventory. I settled on the chicken salad with organic chicken, garlic aioli, cranberries, over wild arugula with marcona almonds served atop some toasted bread with olive oil. It was exactly what one would expect when describing a fresh and delicious, but light lunch. The dressing wasn't overpowering and the marcona almonds added a nice touch. The wine list is also adds a nice touch in simply describing how each wine tastes, feels, and what mood it suits. I would recommend stopping in for a glass accompanied by a cheese plate from the huge cheese inventory. And hey - camp out for a while. Take in the day.

Oh my gosh this place is the best. Their homemade EVERYTHING is insane. Butternut squash soup is to die for, every panini they make is with love and i can't resist a small fun environment with good wine and plenty of cheese and snacks to take home. This is my new Denver favorite for sure. The girls are so nice and their specials are out of this world!

2012 Review #358: So, when I saw "Eat + Drink" I thought "Eat, Drink, Dish!" in Edwards, CO. Dish! is one of the best CO meals I've ever had, and Eat + Drink was downstairs, like a low-key restaurant/coffee shop. I was hoping that maybe that advent of an Eat + Drink meant that a Dish! was on the way, but no. Sadly that's not the case, but at least we have something in Denver from this enterprise. This is sort of restaurant/market, and I came in to browse for to-go items. I'm not sure how practical this is for eating in because the menu is still sit-down style, not just a big menu at the counter but it seems to be working for them. For to-go items, besides the menu, they have locally preserved pickles, olives, fruits, pastas, breads, crackers, charcuterie, etc. They also have a cheese selection unlike any I have seen aside from the cheese shop on 6th. They have a "Cheese of the day!" but they don't define what that means- cheaper? Just, special for no reason? They have wine and beer but I'm assuming you cannot take them with you, unopened like a liquor store, which is too bad. When I was here a guy came in to get a charcuterie and cheese order and the platters were incredible. They walked him through the choices and selections very clearly and helped him to his car. They'd given him an awesome selection of meats but I didn't see those in the store- maybe they sold out in order to meet his order requirements? Nonetheless, their happy hour of $5 is good, and the owners and employees are very kind and accommodating.

Eat + Drink is right up my alley for a nice glass of wine and a light bite. Kind of casual European meets local Highlands' eatery, this quaint, quiet place has a lot to offer. Great wine list, tasty cheeses and charcuterie, and creative and tasty sandwiches. And if you're on the go, choose from a variety of artisan olives, crackers, olive oil, baguettes, chocolate, and more. Plus, the service is always awesome. Makes me want a glass of wine just writing about it...

Cute and cozy modern bistro, with excellent service, and deliciously simple food. A cheese lover's dream - shop and eat all in the same place... Great wine list, great ambiance - just what the neighbourhood needed. Dying to try the cheese fondue Fridays.

If you're looking for a quiet spot with great food, great wine, and is not too pricey here is your spot! The service was okay (they were training someone I believe) but made up for by the unique menu! Between our party we ordered the chicken salad (amazing and surprisingly filling) the turkey sandwich (perfect if you like a sweet touch with the jam) and the basil pesto sandwich. The olive oil was really fresh and yummy to dip the bread in. Great alternative to busy highland spots

I love Eat + Drink so much that I took my Italian family visiting from the old country (New Jersey) here instead of the Olive Garden. We showed up the night before Thanksgiving with 6 people about 45 minutes before closing and the staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I'm always wary of being "that guy" who comes in when the staff is ready to gtfo but we got a really welcoming vibe from everyone. My family really enjoyed their meal here and still talk about "that charming little cheese shop". We have been back several times since. The panini sandwiches are excellent - I love the emliia and my wife loves the arti. Staff are consistently pleasant, friendly and knowledgable, Go!

I have had great experiences at eat + drink. The service has been great and friendly. I love the artichoke panini, the dry sodas, fresh mozerella, smoked almonds and selection of chocolates. They will also turn anything into a gluten free option by making the paninis into a salad, which is nice for anyone with gluten allergies. Wonderful place, great food :)

A little gem! Went for happy hour and left very happy. Amazing and ample cheese plate for $10 plus $5 wines. Also had a delicious arugula salad and some lovely chocolates to top it off. Waitress was awesome too. Will definitely go back. Great addition to the area.

I keep making up excuses to eat or shop at this place. It's a cheese and other gourmet food (dried pasta, sauce, olives, CHOCOLATE, crackers, nuts, dried fruit, olive oils etc) shop along with an eatery with a fantastic wine list. The paninis are superb with balanced flavors. The burrata is sublime. And you can purchase the cheese you love to take home (or camping as I did on a recent visit) too! Related to a fantastic family of businesses in Edwards, Denver is blessed to have Eat + Drink in town.

Great location, beautiful exposed brick and lovely set up. Came in on 7/29, had the olive boat, which was so yummy and the California panini. I knew it was going to be amazing, but it exceeded my expectations. The food is fresh and tasty. Go check it out!

I was kind of dragged to Eat + Drink the first time I went. It was pitched to me as a wine bar. As a rule I am not a big fan of wine bars but it was a work happy hour so I went along. It was one of the first really cold days we have had in Denver and by the time we made it over to Eat Drink we were all a bit chilled. Thank goodness for the warm and inviting interior. It is a open beam decor inside but with the yellow lights coming off of old timey bulbs hanging above the tables it felt comfortable and not a bit sparse. We ordered a cheese plate and wine for the table. Our server helped us pick out some cheese and was very patient while we, to use a political term, flip flopped on what wines we wanted. I don't think anyone at the table had a wine they didn't like. Well done who ever selects the wine. For my second glass, don't call me a lush just yet the firm was buying, I asked about the expensive red on the menu and if it was really worth the price. I explained what kind of wines I like and sensing that I might be a, well we will say thrifty customer, she excused herself and returned with a taste of a truly wonderful wine. I said it was perfect and I would like a glass of that please only to be informed that it was not the expensive wine but a more moderately priced Spanish red. Sold! You now have a customer for life. Any place that will take the customers taste over the bottom line is the kind of place I will continue to patronize. I have since returned with my wife for a glass of wine before dinner and I don't know what I did wrong but the two glasses and bar of chocolate we got was 26 dollars. I will keep a look out for what Curtis ordered next time I go. The bread they have up front is 4 dollars a loaf for a crunchy baguette that goes wonderful with any creamy soup you may be making at home. Stop in and get that. YUM!

This is a darling shop that is the perfect place to catch up with a friend over a glass (or two) of wine. It's quaint and cozy with character. They have a nice cheese selection and some really unique wines. For the quality of the wines, they are reasonably priced. I look forward to coming back here again.

We had a very pleasant luch today at Eat+Drink!! We started off with the bruschetta trio--wow, they were all so delicious. (I can't even remember all the components of each to describe--all mild cheeses...one was mascarpone, one was a chevre so all pretty mild)--prosciutto on one, the other had pear and one had pistachios I think on it. I got a ham panini and asked to swap the cheese out as apparently it was a pungent cheese per our waitress, so I am glad I asked about. They swapped it out with a nice french cow's milk cheese that still had some flavor but was not over powering. It was good. We also had a nice dry Spanish Rose and it was pretty good. All-in-all a very nice experience!

This is a really cool place to relax and indulge. I bought the goats milk young gouda (it is pronounced like Cow-Da), and a soppresata salami. I did not look at the olive oils tho but next time i will have a panini. The people are friendly and Anna is a doll. If you can get Anna's friend to laugh, and a belly laugh not a giggle you get a 20% discount (not really). I love cheese and kinda been in a rut so nice to get a new cheese.
