This place sits near the top of my "microbreweries in CO" list. The location is a bit strange and the actual brewery sits in this strip-warehouse/shop area in an industrial part of town. They are located in building "C". But boy do they crank out some awesome brews. I would recommend everyone to get samplers of everything they have, and these three are my favorites: "Card Your Mom" saison: a nice spice-filled saison that's pleasantly sweet and floral (with hints of nectar). 6.9% ABV, 25 IBU. "The Earl" English mild ale: a very light, smooth drinking ale that resonates with vanilla notes. It actually tastes like Earl Gray tea (not kidding). 3.5% ABV, 17 IBU. "TIM" curry imperial pumpkin ale: a subtle pumpkin and spice taste, but not overdone like a lot of the seasonal pumpkin beers that taste like you're eating a pumpkin pie. A mild touch of curry (that I wish they added a bit more of). 9.5% ABV, 27 IBU.

Wonderful place, terrible location. It's out of the way and hard to find, but worth the trip. Hint: It's in the industrial park, around the back. On my trip they had several Asian themed beers which aren't really my cup of...tea... But I did enjoy the samples I had. Super friendly folk, and a monitor showing a live stream of 4sqaure check-ins and twitter mentions so I could feel like a minor celeb and wonder if anyone noticed my untappd check-in (they didn't). It's a small-ish space, but can easily fit a good group of people, as you should never visit a brewery without some close friends! I thought the staff was incredibly friendly, and really interested in talking about their beers with patrons. Pairing interesting, creative brews with a staff that likes sharing them is a winner in my book. I'm excited to go back!

A few weeks ago several coworkers and I decided to head out to happy hour, but wanted to try something "new to us" in the neighborhood. I've been meaning to check out Caution for ages, so away we went! As are most breweries in town, Caution is hidden away in an industrial area near Peoria and I-70. One really just needs to follow the long haul semis to find it. But once you do locate Caution, you're in for a treat. Caution's tap room is cozy, but with some elbow room to spare. Plenty of space at the bar and at the half dozen nearby tables. One of the friendly bartenders immediately greeted our party and quickly served up our orders. Since I'd been meaning to try Caution for some time, I opted for the flight sampler, which turned out to be a great decision. Every beer I tried was excellent! I was honestly surprised because I'd read so many mixed reviews. After the tasters, I opted to for the Lao Wang Lager in a pint. This is a really killer lager; the flavors and spices were just magical. And now I want to go to Lao Wang and pair it with my favorite dishes there. This little brewery in the middle of nowhere is warm, welcoming, and brewing some tasty beers. If you're looking for an adventure outside of your normal rotation, definitely pack a day bag and head out to Caution. I promise, you won't be disappointed! And you may even be serenaded if you ask for a song!

If you're headed to/from DIA (or anywhere else close to Nebraska), this is your pit stop! Love the arcade games and board games available for amusement. They are dog-friendly (THANK YOU!) and often have food trucks outside for sustenance. Alternatively they have menus from nearby spots that do food delivery. Love that they have Cards Against Humanity. Nothing beats making new friends, enjoying some beer, and playing a wonderfully offensive game of CAH with the whole bar!

Beer - 3.5 Service - 5 Atmosphere - 4.5 Yesterday was our first (and there will be more) visit to Caution Brewing. They are located in an industrial area and will celebrate their first anniversary May 19. What I appreciated most about their beer is the unique approach to ingredients they use. Peat, chrysanthemum, Asian spices, honey, and more. Some folks are going to struggle with this approach to a traditional style, but if you;re looking for something different, this is the place to go. They have a collaboration with Strange Brewing as well, which was perfect, as Strange is another of those breweries that always has something a little one-off weird. The staff (brewers, servers, owners) were outstanding. Friendly and passionate about their creations, they even play Poison on guitar by request. It just so happened that the owner of Baker Street Pretzels made a delivery while we were there as well, and he too is a big fan of them (and we are a fan of the Baker Street). We chatted with everyone the entire time and they gave us 3 samples of what's going to be on tap next. I really enjoyed our visit and will be bringing out of town guests here in the future. Cheers!

Having visited this location a few times now, I have to say these guys are awesome! The staff are super friendly and will engage you easily. We even played some Cards Against Humanity during a slow day! Definitely get the Cardamom Saison! You won't regret!!!

Love this brewery! It's close to my house and they have some great beers. They have created a great atmosphere here with lots of tables and a good selection of games to play. They constantly have food trucks that come to the brewery so you can enjoy a beer and some good food. The reason I come here a lot is for their Lao Wang Lager. The beer is flavorful and amazing. It goes well with everything especially Chinese food. The Lao Wang Lager is created with a blend of secret Asian spices made famous by food from Lao Wang Noodle House. The noodle house is owned by the parents of the owner of Caution Brewing Co. I highly recommend you giving this place a try. This beer is also offered at the noodle house so give that place a try too.

Great, inventive little brewery and tasting room in the Stapleton area. This place has not been open long, but has already developed some solid brews. I don't even like Lager, but I really enjoyed the Lager here, which they made to be served at the noodle house. They don't have a real hoppy IPA that I like, but they do have a great variety and many of the beers are quite tasty. I like their inventive style. One beer is made with Sake yeast. Another has Green Tea flavors. Just really fun and interesting. The service was just fantastic. The couple pouring the beers seemed to really enjoy working there and I had a great time chatting with them while at the bar. There is plenty of room for bigger groups, here. This brewery is in a Stor-It-All type building and is a bit difficult to find, but there is plenty of parking (especially on the weekends). The 2-pint Growlers are pretty steep at $20, but they are a non-standard design that is metal (not glass, so you can take them to events in the park, hiking, etc.) and seals the air out better, so your beer stays good longer.

This place has the BEST beers I've ever tasted! They are all unique and wonderful in their own way. The owners are always striving to make the newest thing. It's a tad tough to find the first time, and you basically have to find out about it by word of mouth... but that's just another thing that makes this place cool.

This place is the shit; if you can find it. It is in an industrial area. When you think you will get mugged, your transmission changed or your visa to Zimbabwe renewed, you are in the right place. It is on the "other" side of building "C". Barely marked and difficult to find. Once there, it's the coolest staff, very nice patrons and certainly, awesome, unique beer. If you are looking for a big screen TV to watch your favorite baseball team and guzzle Coors Light (a Colorado original), you are at the wrong place. Enjoy! I surely did and will the next time I visit this hood. Try the banana and whatever hefe weizen and the cardamom and whatever beer. Awesome! Best to get a flight to try first and go from there.

Nice people, great beer! We met the owners recently and they were both friendly and obviously passionate about their beer. Honestly, you really have to WANT to find this place. I guarantee you'll take at least one wrong turn once you get close. If you cross the RR tracks while heading east on 39th, you've gone too far. Turn around and make your first right (north) that goes towards the rows of orange buildings. There's a tiny "Caution: Brewing" sign to let you know you're on the right track. My wife & I really enjoyed all of their beers. I especially liked the Cardamom Saison, my wife loves the Toaster Bat Black. For their regular lineup, the Lao Wang Lager is excellent. Their beers are all very well balanced, which is how it should be, so if you're a hop head this probably isn't the place for you (at least not yet). I hope more people discover Caution or they move to a better location because they brew very good beer! It's worth a trip to this off-the-beaten-brewery-path!

Very good beers, friendly staff, not the easiest location to find but worth the hunt. The beers are Asian Fusion and very experimental. I would always recommend the Lao Wang Lager and when available the Toaster Bat Black Porter. As with most breweries ask what seasonal ales are available because they are just as good, like a Cardamom infused Saison.

This is probably the most "micro" of microbreweries that I've ever visited. They make some excellent brews with a creative twist. Try the Hippity Hops IPA. The owners are great and make you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

This little mico is definitely worth your while to check out if your looking for some creative brews and a very chill, cool place to hang out (they have the original space invaders!) Similar setup as Asher in Boulder if you've been there. The green tea hoped ale was my favorite, but the wild blonde and IPA were also very tasty.

WOU DUDE! Great beer, always trying to invent new good tasting beers, and the staff is friendly . You get the vibe that "hey, these people actually care about their customers".

Their beer is quite good. They are dog friendly (always a plus since my dog has separation anxiety). Both locations are a bit out of the way, but are welcome additions to their respective areas. I've always gotten great service at their East Denver location. Wasn't so lucky at the lakewood location, but I'll forgive the bad service because they seemed pretty busy that day, and the beer is really, as I said, quite good.

Some of their beer is good. If you're a woman by yourself and stop by for a growler after work, you'll get descended upon by the bar flies. It's an uncomfortable atmosphere, which is a shame since I work nearby and would love to frequent this establishment.

If you haven't yet noticed, I've been to a lot of breweries. This is my husband's thing and I fully support him on it. Therefore, it's sort of become my thing too. That being said, I've seen a lot. The good and the bad. The "why did we ever go there" and the "when can we return?" Caution falls into the latter category. The owners/brewers/cool people were really friendly and didn't act snooty as some brewers like to. I mentioned the awesome guitar just hanging out next to the toaster oven, and that simple comment got us a free 2-person concert. The beers were on the creative side which I liked. They did something different and it paid off. Looking forward to coming back!

So many breweries are hit and miss or just partially okay. You won't find a bad draft here at all. Like Left-Hand they don't have a beer here I don't like and that's the sign of a good brewery.

This place (and the owners) are awesome. Went with a big group from work and everyone left impressed. I was surprised how much flavor the Lao Wang Lager had. The kissing cousins was tasty as well. Off the beaten path but worth the trip. Hopefully the next/second location does well. Would come more often if the current location wasn't so strange.

Great speakeasy feel to this brewery bar You can try swinging by closer to 9pm on weekends - sometimes they're open later than their posted hours Swing by on your way to or from the airport, taste a pint, play space invaders, keep it real!

Although the beers don't match my typical flavor profile needs, I do appreciate that they know their craft. Some inventive flavors and the owners seem genuinely nice and very knowledgable. Also, they have an old school SPACE INVADERS GAME!!! Bless the person that turned them on to that little piece of historical nerd nirvana!

I love this brewery. They offer many different styles of beer Card Your Mom is one of my favorite Saisons. The owners, Betty and Danny are down to earth people with creative beers. With two Denver locations, this is a must try for beer lovers.
