Way more than your standard coffeehouse. From the outside signage, it gave me the impression it was a local, small boutique coffee business. I was 50% right on the small business part. They go beyond by offering wine, real food (Italian-themed), and all kinds of coffee drinks to boot. A couple of super nice folks run the operation (owners?), so its probably not a teen hangout. Instead, attracting a 20+ crowd. During the day, it's a great place with a moderate amount of business. Great for writing, thinking, small chats, or working on that big proposal (sales, or marriage planning -- one in the same?). At night, well...it probably heats up a bit...so I'll try to check that out sometime for a glass of wine. This is a mile or so away from ultra cool downtown. Instead, this is is a bit hipster, casual, while still being modern. Wood floors, high ceilings with exposed pipe (but not old, newer and painted black), floor to ceiling windows, a bar-like setup with a handful of high-chairs, 8 tables inside, and a ton of tables outside on a big streetside patio. I didn't try any of the food, and not a ton of selections...but gosh, so reasonably priced. For example, Pastas ($8-$10), Entrees (Parm, eggplant, lasagne...$9-11), Sandwiches ($7-$9), and Salads ($6-$8). Coffees are really reasonable, I had a large drip for $2.10! The kitchen part has shorter hours (starts later, closes earlier), but snacks/goodies are available always in the more-than-welcomed muffin/cookie category (yahoo!). The desserts offered could be upgraded, as well as the display of what they do have. While each may be fresh, they are individually plastic-wrapped...not my favorite.

I stopped in during the USA vs Germany World Cup match during the second half because I saw they had a big screen tv. While this is NOT a typical place to watch sports, most of the patrons were tuned in and the staff was accommodating. Nicole behind the bar was training a new barista/bartender and was also very helpful to me. I had a latte (made perfectly with two shots of espresso) and a breakfast burrito smothered in green chili sauce (that's how they do it in Colorado, right?). I will probably go back again today. I would definitely recommend this place as a sunny cafe/lounge. The have patio seating and big glass windows.

Love this place! (Sitting here now!) Pleasant ambiance, friendly staff and the food is soooo good.

The emo girl who worked at the counter was super short with us. Not sure if it was the emo glasses that got in the way of being friendly or she was just mad we came in with a groupon. Groupon coupons promote business yes? I think she might've cracked half a smile? At the end of the meal, she outright ignored us and we had to go to the counter to get her attention just to pay. Food was alright. However, I would rather venture around the block to find somewhere with better service and food.

I began my second day in Denver looking for a café to start my day. After seeing a high rating of this café from my device, indeed I have found a really good one to start my day, which is also walking distance from my hotel. The café is also a wine bar with a good selection of local wines and a few local draught beers on tap. There is also a kitchen for the professional chefs preparing salads, sandwiches and other pastries. Yes, I started my day with a latte made from the Rainforest Alliance Certified Coffee Company. The $4.00 cup of Latte was strong and the foam made with organic milk is very rich and creamy. I also got a $2.50 Blueberry Muffin to top off my treat. My breakfast: yelp.com/biz_photos/caff… I was sitting at these comfortable chairs with free WiFi. As comfortable as the chair was with the cool surrounding, I can actually stay here all day. "But why would I want to do that when I'm on vacation?" My seat: yelp.com/biz_photos/caff… This is a café just like home. And I love this café. The staffs were very chatty with me. I feel very welcome here.

I would give it five stars but I once heard the owner turn Led Zeppelin down. Other than that slip, love this place. Just be aware if Dave is off his meds. Linda makes great bakery.

I got a groupon deal for this place that gave me 2 entrees and an appetizer for $15 between 4-7PM. I tried a salad that had mozzarella cheese, olives, red onion, spring greens and a light vinagrette. I also tried the caprese sandwich with prosciutto. I would have liked the sandwich more if the bread was toasted. The bread was dry for me. I also tried the linguine with chicken and pesto sauce. It was a good portion and it was really tasty. I would have preferred a tad bit more sauce.

Today for lunch I had a delicious meal @ Caffe Sanora. I highly recommend the Roasted Turkey Sandwich. Typically the sandwich comes with apples but I opted out including them on my sandwich. Anyhow if your near the area, try this place out. Great food & friendly staff!

First visit to this New York-ish style cafe. Friendly staff, home-made breakfast and lunch eats, and delicious brew. Chai Lattes are bomb!!!

Stopped in for breakfast on our way to Mile High to see a Broncos game. I had the veggie quiche & it was amazing. Fresh ingredients and the crust was super flaky. Could definitely tell it was homemade. My boyfriend had the veggie breakfast burrito (tasty) and the pumpkin French toast (delicious). Several tea options, important as I don't drink coffee. Great place we will visit again before we depart from Denver!

Today was my first visit to Caffe Sanora. I can't believe it's taken me this long to try it. I had a cappuccino, a smothered breakfast burrito, and a glass of iced tea. They were all good. Unlike most Denver coffee shops I visit, they have a real kitchen here, so the breakfast burrito was freshly made, not premade-and-microwaved. That was a nice touch. The cappuccino was good enough, though not the best I've had. For the two hours I was here, they played Grateful Dead and related old music, which is pretty unusual for a coffee shop. I guess it keeps away the hipster kids. The staff of two -- one working the counter and one working the kitchen -- seemed to keep up pretty well with the ebb and flow of weekday morning patrons. WiFi was free and reasonably fast. Next time I want to try their iced toddy.

Cool little spot. I had a Sunday morning off, which is rare, so I decided to treat myself to a good breakfast. Anyway, I came here looking for a different place, which is actually a few blocks down Colfax, and ended up just deciding to stay at Sanora. The server/barista was extremely friendly and the Eggs Benedict Florentine were great, as well as the potatoes that came with. The bill was very reasonable and it wasn't hectic at all, unlike some other breakfast/brunch joints in the neighborhood. I will definitely be going back.

Friendliest staff ever. . I always feel welcome in this great little place. Always fresh from scratch food. With the great large patio there is always ample seating. The kind of place where friends become better friends. And they always know your name.

I'm on Colfax. I'm early for dinner. I would like an espresso. "Look, a coffee shop that isn't Starb***s." I walk inside, order a double espresso. It is served in a real espresso cup. I sit, enjoy my beverage and read the paper. I smile. This is a real coffee.

A relaxing, pet-friendly environment with great drinks- I'm a coffee drinker, but I was in the mood for an Italian Soda, which was delicious. This is a spot to go when you have a few minutes to sip a beverage and have a seat. I'm not generally a people watcher, but the atmosphere here glued my butt to my chair long enough to relax and drink while sitting, a rarity for me. Apparently all independent coffee shops MUST offer a breakfast burrito and pastries now. It is a federal regulation. At least that's my interpretation of the strange breakfast burrito takeover happening in our nation's coffee shops. I don't mind though- they are generally good, if a little bland.

came in here a couple days ago and it was a prefect spot to relax and refuel! I had an iced mint green tea and a slice of the house made chocolate banana bread. The mint tea was great and I will go back to get some more banana bread! It was moist and perfectly sweetened. The cafe also offered sandwiches, appetizers, and also has a small breakfast menu. I wasn't hungry enough to order the sandwiches but I will give it a try next time. The cafe was small but cozy, and they even had a couch and some magazines in the corner to make it more homey. The barista was really friendly and accommodating ( she offered to make me an iced tea from the hot tea selection since I wanted something minty) Overall the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, and it was definitely a good spot to do some people watching ( It's right on Colfax!) I will def come back next time to try out some sandwiches and coffee!

This is hands down the best coffee shop I've been to. The coffee is excellent, the staff are very friendly, and I was very surprised by the food, very high quality, fresh and prices are great too.

Spent 5 hours at Caffe Sanora today. The bacon breakfast burrito was fantastic and the mocha was delicious! I wish there were more outlets to plug in my computer - I had to move from a table to the counter to plug in :( Other than that, the service was great, space is bright and clean. I'd definitely go back to meet with friends or read a book. I definitely want to go back to try more food!

Cute little shop with seating inside and out. They have a great Chai, good coffee, and even a good selection of food items, not just pastries like most coffee shops.

Caffe Sanora feels kind of like sneaking into a family reunion that's not yours and being welcomed with open arms anyways. Everyone seems to know everyone and the vibe is all smiles. I especially love the huge, cozy dining room style chairs near the back. (There's a photo somewhere of them). This is the money table! Great view of everything going on inside and outside but also with the space needed for some serious productivity. The patio is the best I've seen at a cafe. It is huge, has tons of seating, and overlooks the always interesting Colfax Avenue. People watching is in full effect even at the early hours of the morning and the steady stream of people wandering in will keep you on your toes. The menu is perfectly priced and the breakfast options are decent. Fresh quiches, breakfast burritos, homemade oatmeal, scones, and even some gluten-free fare. I love that the have "cambric tea" on the menu. I got a delicious brew with Vanilla Almond Rooibos and the creaminess was the perfect way to start my day. With this level of friendly, I'm boldly guaranteeing you will walk away from this place feeling a little happier.

This place is both phenomenal & unassuming; I love the combo. I highly recommend this authentic Italian Trattoria, because the owner David ensures that no matter who you are, you are welcome. I love their organic coffee & that they offer up in-house pastries & handmade pasta, while the patio is a great spot for people watching along Colfax. I felt like I wasn't in Denver for the duration of our time in this fantastic lil' spot! They have a great beer & wine selection & their stuffed mushrooms are perfection. The Caesar salad is yum-yum-yummy - homemade croutons & all. The same goes for the Sanora house salad too! We thoroughly enjoyed the Italian Cold Cut sandwich, along with the Prosciutto de Parma. And now we want to go back to enjoy one of the breakfast offerings! I can see this being a great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner, so please-please give it a try! You won't regret it.

  • Courtney B.

This place is really unassuming and quaint. you could totally walk by and never see it, but I'm so glad I did. The food is phenomenally good Italian cafe fair. The espresso drinks are hand tamped and pulled by lever. The pastries are done in house and the bacon cheese scone is one of the best pastries I've ever eaten. The caprese sammich is my fave. I was told by the hunky chef that they are going to start family style Sunday dinners, by reservation only. I'm getting in on that!

    (5)
  • Dale Z.

The Prices here seem a little more affordable than you might expect. That was a pleasant surprise. My double espresso was pretty tasty. The seating, indoors and out, is rather good. The staff were nice and friendly. They also serve beer, wine, and some food.

For some reason, not a lot of good cafes around this area for breakfast/coffee. Very happy with Sanora - good breakfast burritos, great pastries (I snagged a fresh blueberry muffin hot out of the oven that was incredible), and good coffee. Combine that with a fun location along Colfax for people watching and reading the paper - perfect!

  • Tiffany N.

One thing I loved about this place right off the bat was that its patio was bigger than its inside. When I found out the free wi-fi worked out there I did a happy dance. Well, I did one secretly inside my head anyway. It's strange how often places with outside areas have free wi-fi that doesn't work out there. They are pet friendly here so if you like to bring your dog you can. And I believe one of their tabletops is a chess board so if you like to play games of the mind you can do that, too. I had an Americano made by our own Robert A. and I'm not being biased in any way when I say it was damned good. And as I sat outside, typing away at my laptop I was able to do lots and lots of interesting people watching courtesy of our most interesting street - Colfax.

  • Brian B.

Great food, and friendly service. Brand new clean & shiny location. I especially love the Italian cold cut sandwich (although it's hot, so misnamed?). I'm not a fan of coffee anywhere, but they sell Bhakti chai, many awesome hot teas, and a good iced green tea. Baked (on-site) goods change daily and are always tasty.

I am redoing review as the Sanora is changing. The changes are not finished. They will have an all new menu. My companion and I visited on Friday July 26th. The Italian specialities were gone as were the stuffed mushroom. It is my understanding they are going to focus more on sandwiches and offering breakfast after 9am. he Quiche and coffee are excellent. The beer and wine selection is still excellent. We were disappointed that the Italian and noddles were not as prominent. David was not present on Friday so could not verify if the menu they had printed represented new final menu. The sandwiches are excellent although for us the removal if final of the Italian specialties will be disappointing.

Came here on a Groupon with my boyfriend today for lunch. We split a caprese salad to start, which wasn't like your tradition caprese, it was made into a greens salad with a delicious italian dressing and fresh parmesan (so good!). I got a hot turkey sandwich which was layered with cheese, bacon, apples slices, mayo, onion and greens and it was so so good (and came with a pickle spear and chips). My boyfriend got the pesto pasta which he really liked but when he got to the bottom of the bowl there was a ton of oil, so the pasta was really oily and pretty inedible, but the flavor was good. The service was great, would come back here again.

So, we buy a Groupon after checking out the menu on their website. An appetizer and 2 entrees....they had a couple of things we thought sounded good, so we bought it. We went on our way to the Moody Blues concert, and we mostly disappointed. The menu was pared down to only linguine and sandwiches even though they have not updated their website. Okay....got the stuffed mushrooms which we definitely give 5 stars! But, the pasta....marinara was not that good and the meatballs and sausage were so overcooked that I might have broke a tooth! I asked the server if they were always like this and she said no, let me get you some more. She did and they were a little better, but still so dry inside that there wasn't much flavor. She didn't charge us at all for the iced teas so she would get 5 stars for that! But, sadly, with the lack of choices now if you're in the mood for Italian food...don't go there!

  • Kyle A.

I loved coming here for breakfast. There aren't many italian bakeries in Boulder as far as I am aware so this was a pleasant find in Denver. The lunch looked interesting too. Menu is short, simple and fairly priced. I had the two egg breakfast which comes with the eggs, some delicious sausage (or bacon), toast, herb potatoes, and some fruit. The eggs were cooked perfectly and I would come back for their sausage alone. The barista and chef were super friendly and I felt at home on my first visit. I will stop by for sure next time I am in the area!

Hands down one of my favorite coffee shops in Denver and trust me, as a graduate student, I love me some coffee shops! The coffee is organic and delish (and from Honduras!), the pastries are fabulous, but more than anything I come here for the people. I moved to Denver 3 years ago and this coffee shop was right around the corner from my house. I have continued to go here because of the "community" that has been created around this shop. Everyone knows everyone and if they don't know you, you'll be included immediately. I love the staff here and the owner, David, is incredibly genuine... oh, and handsome ! :) (Also, 2 hr parking behind the shop- - but they don't tow so you can certainly stay there longer than 2 hours or park on Lafayette for free too!)

Was staying near by while in town for business and stopped in for a quick bite. I had the breakfast burrito and some chile verde. It was excellent. This is the perfect place for a casual breakfast or lunch. Great service and food.

Great place for coffee and homemade morning eats. They actually know about coffee here. Also, the patio is nice on a weekend morning. Bring your laptop and jump on their wifi. Tip: Buy your coffee here.

I was on a recent trip to Denver to hang out with friends and attend a local rodeo. I got in late Thursday evening so when I got up to wander around the Colfax area Friday morning my first goal was to find a local coffee shop. I figure if I'm on a trip out of state I should check out the local businesses, not the corporate conglomerates. The kind folks at the front desk of the Ramada quickly pointed me to the coffee house across the street. Off to Caffe Sanora I wandered. Being from Seattle I'm used to my coffee being cranked out quickly so, as I stood in the line watching the barista hand crank everything I was wondering when I was ever going to get to put in my order. I reminded myself I was on vacation and to relax. As I was looking around I took notice of all fresh pastries so I nabbed a scone with fresh strawberries. When I got up to the counter put in my order watched the gentleman make my latte, paid for that and the scone I sat outside on the patio to enjoy the recent purchases. Damn - that was a good latte, and the scone was a crumbly delight. So, the wait was well worth it. Thanks to Caffe Sanora I've discovered a great local place for good coffee and wonderful tasty morning treats. On my next trip I'll be sure to pay them a visit or two again!

  • Gianni D.

This place is my favorite patio on Colfax, I love people watching, playing chess, sharing cigs, laughs and awkward conversations with bums. The coffee is...well coffee, it doesn't suck and it isn't mind blowing, but I keep coming back. I don't know the guy who owns/works the counter but he's about as cool as they come and has great customer service. But, what I totally love is the baked goods they got. Sometimes its hard to get quiche for some reason. And technically even here, but when they have it, I am in heaven. They also have these croissant egg bacon breakfast bliss things...that are just the cats pajamas. The happy hour rules too, can't remember the time, but its cheap ass Budweiser if I recall, and I am so pumped on a happy hour that doesn't involve PBR. Aka the most annoying beer in the world.

  • Jay J.

Being as it is that I am able to count the number of times I have purchased and drank coffee on one hand, I am really in no way a reliable judge on the tastiness of said drink. Now, having got that out of the way, I freakin LOVE the coffee here. I am actually thinking of taking up this habit of which I have so avoided throughout my short life just so I may indulge in the deliciously organic blends of coffee that Sanora has to offer. Perhaps it was the company of my beautiful coffee aficionado companion, or the sheer excitement of my first cup in years that made the drink so good? I shall not know until I return there alone someday to find out. The tea is great as well.

Love this coffee shop! Fresh pastries, and delicious coffee at reasonable prices. It also has a patio on Colfax for your people watching pleasure. I also like that I'm not blasted with corporate upselling. They are always fast and pleasant.

I stumbled upon Caffe Sanora by accident one afternoon while apartment hunting. I needed a cup of joe and this was the first I spotted. I was pleasantly surprised, given that this is Colfax. The guy behind the counter (who had a dark hair and a goatee) had to either be the owner or manager. He was genuinely friendly and happy to help. I ordered just a cup of house coffee to go but it was a GREAT brew, and as an added bonus it's organic and only about $1.60 (it's $1.80 if you stay but it's a free refill). I haven't moved to the neighborhood yet (one more week to go) but made a trip out of my way yesterday to go again. Again I got a cup of house coffee and also pulled a generous piece of spice bread from the day-old-for-a-dollar bin - which for being a day old was super yummy and who can beat it for a dollar?? Again the same guy was at the counter having a funny conversation with another guy about football. Everyone in there seemed to be "sane" locals that enjoy the spot, which gave the place a great neighborhood feel. This is definitely another diamond in the rough that is Colfax Ave! Pros: Cheap but great organic coffee, yummy day-old goodies, friendly service Cons: Patio seating is right on Colfax

Caffe Sanora was nearly my second home when I was unemployed (it's a tie between here and Pablo's). I would go and job search with their free wifi while drinking a most likely comped coffee and eating a breakfast burrito (for dinner). I like this place because the coffee is great and the people that work here are down-to-earth, awesome, and real. The baristas here have always been more akin to my favorite bartenders than anyone I'd meet at Starbucks. Example: when I mentioned I was apartment hunting (totally in passing), the owner gave me a number for a local landlord at my next visit. I love that kind of thing. The anti-oxidants in the coffee may make me feel better inside somehow, through some chemical reaction. But the wonderful people who work here probably have a little more to do with how happy this place makes me.

I have been going to Sanora since Dave opened the shop. It is without a doubt one of the best coffeehouses in Denver. Their coffee taste is incredible, the service is great, and there is a real sense of community there which just makes it a cool place to hang out. Dave also has a knack for hiring folks. The staff are all extremely friendly. The baked goods (made in house) are also the best I have found anywhere. They serve breakfast burritos from Bocaza (another fav of mine. I just get their drip coffee, but have heard people rave about the espresso based drinks (mochas, lattes, etc). Don't miss this place!

This cool little coffee shop tucked away on colfax keeps my days going as I work a stone's throw....Great coffee and they make a damn good breakfast bagel covered with savory goodness (scrambled eggs, peppers and cheeze on mine!!)

Yum! Their latte's are made perfectly and their service is impeccable. Nice patio with really superb people watching - it is on Colfax. My husband occasionally surprises me with their latte's and it

This place feels more like a lobby than a coffee shop. What little seating they have is uncomfortable. No tea selection. I live less than a block from this place, and I walk over to Gypsy house (which is several blocks away) anyway.

  • Matt O.

I don't drink coffee and I know the owner, so right off the bat I seem biased. However, I will objectively say that this place is definitely a place to check out. I drink and enjoy the chai (hot and iced) and also they make really tasty smoothies, as well as Italian sodas. They do have good breakfast burritos as well. Let's face it, there aren't many places to get coffee that don't have the name Starbucks on them, so when you find a local place you should consider supporting them. Caffe Sanora makes you feel glad for going in their shop and they cater to your needs. They have a neat little patio, on Colfax, allowing you to get prime people watching while enjoying your beverage. My only complaint is that the owner is a Yankees fan, despite being a Jets fan. I guess no one is perfect! :)

  • Robert A.

this place has the best coffee this side of Sumatra. Its "unique roasting process" keeps the bean's natural antioxidants that, otherwise, get burnt out during the roasting process. What does that mean to me? A smooth cup of tasty coffee that keeps me on my toes, keeps me looking young, and whatever else the antioxidants anti-ize. The staff is definitely a stong perk and they got some skills when it comes to making a latte or any variation therein. With a prime location on e. colfax, there's a lot of interesting to be seen and the patio is perfect for people watching. The inside of the shop is small, but deftly decorated with a sort of intimacy to it (check: "Cheers" theme or the "people in your neighborhood" song from sesame street)...

  • Linda G.

The best neighborhood coffee place ever. Free wi-fi, and owner David Boyan is great. So are his baristas. Addition of wine and beer for later hours has created a more social vibe for all hours.

    (5)
  • Nathan B.

This is a great coffee shop. Dave the owner really is a good guy. All of the coffee is organic and a cup of joe is still under 2 bucks. They recently got there liquor license. So now you can have your morning coffee then your afternoon beer. They also serve breakfast burritos, quiche and normal coffee shop pastries. The patio is where to be. You can grab a paper or just people watch everyone on Colfax. I can not even muster a bad thing to say about this place.

This place is quite literally one of my favorite places in Denver. The owners are really personable and one of the nicest people, they have a cool arcade machine, and their breakfast burrito is absolutely perfect. When I visited Denver before I moved I really found this place to be welcoming. Now that I live here it's one of my favorites.

We live right around the corner from this place, and it's probably our favorite neighborhood spot. The owner, David, is usually there and a super nice guy. We love the green chile (spicy!) and I haven't had a bad meal there yet. Their coffee is solidly delicious and the staff is always friendly, plus the Colfax people watching that other reviewers have mentioned.

The atmosphere of this place is pretty cool. Very laid back- a seat yourself kind of place. It's a bit hipster for my taste, but a neat place. The food overall was ok. Decent flavor but my hash and my finances roasted potatoes were extremely greasy. It made it unappetizing. We also waited quite some time for our food and the place wasn't very busy. My chai, however was delicious. Overall, and average experience. I will be back for the chai but not the food.

A pleasant departure from pub food and the regular bar happy hour! This is version 2.0 for Caffe Sanora, my old favorite coffee hang spot, more seating and a growing menu of Italian cuisine. The meat and cheese plate with these artesian Salumi meats (locally made), make me smile, great wine choices for happy hour and Avery Brews... The Welcome Back is bigger and better and I am sure I won't be able to get a seat soon!

I've probably passed by this time a hundred times but never noticed it before until Groupon brought us here. We went on a Sunday morning around 10am and there were a few tables sat inside and outside. It's really not clear what the situation is--do you order food at the counter then sit or just sit? The one barista working finally got to us and she told us to sit wherever we wanted. If you're going to eat there, get a physical menu, there's tons more on there than the menu on the chalk board! As for brunch, they have a decent selection of sweet and savory options. I got the Florentine Eggs Benedict on two little crostini's with potatoes and fruit while my boo got some almond orange stuffed french toast scone thing. We did splitsies and both were great--I liked how light yet flavorful both meals were and it didn't leave me too full. I got a latte as well which was pretty weak and not a lot of flavor. We barely saw our server aka the one barista working....maybe because it's a coffee/brunch spot on Colfax on a Sunday....and there was one barista working. That really put a damper on the whole experience which sucks because I really liked the simplistic feel of the atmosphere and menu. She seemed not only busy but really like she didn't care. Oh hipsters......

This place is a gem. The food is fresh and cooked perfectly. They have more than just coffee. The staff is super.

It's quite a shame that I didn't find one of my favorite coffee shops until the end of the CoffeeThesisProposal era. Caffe Sanora is just perfect. It's quiet and calm, the barista was just the sweetest, and they have real food. The Colfax traffic is strangely soothing, and being able to glance up from my work to view the CNN coverage is a nice distraction. Plus, the soundtrack playing is way more chill than most of the other coffee shops I've frequented. Oh, and the wifi is suberb! A fantastic coffee shop, through and through. Ignore the Colfaxy exterior and come in for a coffee, meal, or conversation.

Fantastic coffee served by fantastic folks. Great food too, highly recommended for lunching. The fact that they now have a beer tap & a cocktail table vintage video game system with all the old classics... Just icing on the cake. Rock out Dave & Co., you're my fave coffee shop in Denver.

Really delicious coffee - I've thoroughly enjoyed the simple brewed stuff as well as various lattes. I had the breakfast sandwich with Italian sausage last time I was there, and it was /spectacular/, from the fresh bread, the perfectly cooked over medium eggs drenching the whole thing in thick, yellow yolk, and a very generous portion of some very tasty, and not at all greasy, sausage. The place is tiny, and a line of people ordering to-go can kind of clog the place up. But, there's a large outdoor patio for spillover.

Atmosphere and Space: It is a nice space. It had tables to eat and drink coffee. Coffee Drinks: I got their straight black coffee and it was pretty good. Something even more awesome is that if they are closing soon, they can give you free refills. (I actually do not know if this is an official policy but it was much appreciated!) Non-Coffee Drinks: I had their breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, etc). plate. It was pretty tasty but I wished the portion was a tad bit bigger for the price I paid but it was tasty regardless. Staff: The staff are pretty friendly and I have not had a negative experience with any of them. Overall: If you are hungry AND need some coffee -- Caffe Sanora is the place to go.

Came here just for coffee l and I must say, delish!! U ordered the mocha and my husband ordered a triple shot on ice. Both tasted the way real coffee is supposed to taste... Not to sweet and not watered down. The service was very chill and relaxed but I love it!! Will be back tomorrow for brunch!

This place is awesome. Their coffee and brunch items are great, the customer service is also on point. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which had sausage, eggs, cheese and comes with a side of potatoes which were perfectly cooked. The sausage was unique in that it wasn't your typical sausage. I also ordered a mocha and white mocha which were delicious and well made. Everyone here is really helpful and friendly which I truly appreciate. The price of this place is very reminiscent of the food they serve, the quality is just there.

From the inside, you'd never guess you were in one of unsightlier areas of Colfax (not scary or dangerous, just ugly.) The space is bright and airy and sunny has a little bit of a Euro-vibe. This is my favorite coffee shop in all of Denver. The coffee is fantastic, the food options are diverse and tasty, and you can't beat the service. And the owner reminds me of Luke from Gilmore Girls, which is a plus that pretty much nowhere else can claim.

Stayed at the Ramada across the street and popped in for their brunch at 9am on a Saturday. Egg sandwich on ciabatta with a side of roasted potatoes and fruit was delicious and hit the spot for only $7! Atmosphere was nice and quiet, perfect for people watching on the street. Staff was quite friendly and accommodating.

Their lattes are craftily made and are always so delicious! The baristas are all very helpful and friendly. Prompt service and their pastries are fresh. During the holidays they have whole pies that you can order ahead of time. Pumpkin pie is to die for!

What a great first experience. I had a groupon that I let expire but the $13 was still valid for credit. The counter/bartender was extremely nice. She made a few recommendations and I went with meatballs, coleslaw and a house salad. Everything was very fresh and somehow that strange combination of food worked out great. Very welcoming place and I will definitely be back.

Was walking around after the pride festival today around 11:00. Not going to lie, I was a tad bit hungover. Some brunch sounded nice. Caffe Sanora was the first place like that I saw. The patio was packed with happy people drinking mimosas. I simply wanted sandwich and iced tea to-go, so I order at the cash register underneath the "To-Go" order sign. I was given my tea in a glass and my sandwich on a plate and left to stand wandering to find my own seat, because apparently I was staying to eat. However, the prosciutto sandwich was amazing! The staff was a little crazed and confused, but that could easily by attributed to pride fest. They were pretty busy. Overall I do not regret coming here and would love to try this place on a normal day!

Best coffee shop ever. Hands down. The baristas are friendly and amazing and personal and invested in their guests lives. The owner is too, and so is the kitchen staff. I came here twice a week for three or four months to plan my wedding, Angie not only have me advice but lent me some of her decorations! Seriously. This place has become a part of me. Oh. The coffee is awesome and so is the food! :)

New to the area. Walked in and sat at the counter. One other person was there. At least 10 other people walked in and got something to go. Finally, after 15 minutes I was approached with "sorry I've been ignoring you". Nice greeting. So, I said I was just sitting here and continued to read my paper. Never come back here again. Obviously the owner isn't present.

Awesome place to grab a quick early day meal without breaking your bank. I recently visited Denver and after finding this gem decided to start most of my days here. The breakfast sandwich is awesome especially with the sausage. The breakfast burrito was really good too. My girlfriend was especially obsessed with the veggie options. The staff was super friendly and the guy I believe to be the owner was there on all occasions. Super nice guy even if he wears a Jets or Yankee hat and has a New York accent. I highly recommend this place to visitors and locals alike. The coffee is good, fresh and on the cheap side. Don't waste your time at Starbucks when awesome places like this exist.

I know it's known as a coffee place but I also had some scrambled eggs and sausage that were delicious. But you have to try their mocha too - just as good. Caffe Sonora is really close to Colfax but you can't tell because it is very quit and relaxing there.

Solid food at good prices. Basic serving for breakfast burrito (no extras) but it was good. Coffee was okay--I had the drip coffee and it was fair. Quick service and clean tables.
