Happy hour is where Brio really shines. $4 appetizers and $5 martini's are an insanely great value. I love sitting on the patio with a martini and a couple of apps, watching all of Cherry Creek's local wildlife. This is a favorite spot of the indigenous "Cherry Creek Cougar". I'm no Jack Hannah, but I speculate that these cougars flock to Brio to feed on their low priced appetizers in order to save money for later use on botox injections. Your $4 gets you a really nice sized portion. My favs are the beef carpaccio and shrimp with eggplant. There really isn't anything bad on the menu, however the bolognese lettuce wraps are a bit odd.

Just like the rest of them... but not as good as the one in Southlake Texas!

Good service, acceptable food - no complaints. I was actually quite surprised (in a good way) by the atmosphere and kind attention of our waiter. Recommended as a "safe" choice for visiting relatives.

Yum. Love Brio. The food is delicious and is definitely way better than Olive Garden. Hence, a little more expensive. I recommend the lobster bisque, its amazing. And for dinner try the Mezza Chicken under the Brick with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The chicken has a mushroom marsala sauce which is very tasty! Our server was a sweet heart. This was our 3rd visit and 2nd time having her as our waitress. Her name is Athena I believe. We brought our 2 year old this past time for my birthday lunch and she brought over some dough to play with to keep him occupied while us adults finished our meals. I would've rated the place a little higher, but the hostess..well, she was not the hostess with the mostess. When we walked in the door she just looked at us saying "can I help you?" in not the nicest of tones. But ya know, thats Cherry Creek sometimes...

Man, the service is really on the ball here. I was hesitant to come back because how slow the park meadows location is. Try the artichoke beef medallions.

Decent Italian - clean restaurant - hit or miss service. The first time we had good service with an efficient and friendly waiter. For dinner I had the artichoke crusted beef medallions - the beef was tender and the crust was yummy - something I never had before it came with veggies and mashed potatoes. I could have done without the mushroom Marsala sauce which was a pinch salty. For around $22 the price was a bit steep for 3 two ounce medallions. My hubby had the sweet potato and chicken risotto with pancetta, grilled asparagus and cheese hold the pine nuts as he is allergic. Lunchtime service was hectic and disorganized - our waitress was very slow to come by our table. I had the eggplant pomodoro topped with cheese served with a side of spaghetti -it was the perfect size for lunch and the eggplant was light and crispy. Just over $12. Hubby had the lobster bisque and the first time it was served luke warm - the 2nd bowl was piping hot. It was ok but not a lot of meat. A plus is the parking which is in a lot and they also have valet.

I really hated this place. From the minute we sat down we were being up-sold from the drinks to the appetizers to desserts. We sat outside at a table where I literally could not hear my son talking to me across the table because the 4 top was too large & the patio was so loud & it was not even crowded today. We ordered strawberry salads at our waiters suggestion, it was literally THE WORST I have ever had. I only ate the 3 strawberries on the salad & the "candied" nuts-which by the way, we're not candied, they were spicy. There was hardly any dressing & the little it did have was not of a sweet variety which you would typically find on this type of salad. In a word, it was just odd. Our waitress does not even clear our plates before she brings over the dang dessert tray. She then proceeds to ask me what exactly I didn't like about the salad as she's handing me our check. Just plain bad & strange behavior. I wouldn't suggest.

So disappointed. We decided to get out of the house in the snow for some Italian food. We had to make a stop in Cherry Creek so decided to try Brio. Brio had a $52.80 special for restaurant week so we ordered from that menu. Caesar sale was really good. But the Minestrone Soup tasted like pasta sauce - few vegetable, no beans or pasta. The entrees were worse. While the beef was tender on the Steak Tournedo dish, it looked better than it tasted. And the Veal Milanese was awful - really greasy and overcooked. Tossed the Loyalty Reward card when I returned home!

Went here for the first time today in Denver's exclusive area Cherry Creek. The decor was great, atmosphere and staff were also great! However, $13.95 for a burger that's not thicker then what Burger King servers as their patties is totally uncalled for! Additionally the burger itself is preformed and not made from ground beef on site, its so thin I can't image being able to cook it to order by any stretch of the imagination. I asked for medium rare and it was plainly cooked well done, why? Because the burger itself is paper thin and pre-made ordered in and not made to order. I've had better burgers from fast food joints. The fries that came with my plate were of such small portions it would not fill more then a measuring cup, 1 cup. They did bring me another side of fries so that helped a little. I'm really disappointed and won't be returning and though it seems I'm ranting a bit about my dining experience its because the manager on duty plainly told me that there's never been any complaints about the burgers and blamed corporate on the skimpy proportions, as if that makes it acceptable? pfft!

Brio may not be my favorite Italian food in town, but they're definitely in the running for my favorite happy hour! Why? Because of $3.95 food specials and $5 drink specials! The bar menu has ten options for $3.95, and the portions are actually pretty generous. They're not huge, but you can share a snack or two with a friend and not spend very much money at all. The spicy shrimp and eggplant is to die for, and I'm a fan of the ravioli caprese as well. The ravioli are coated in romano and made crispy, which isn't clear from the menu, but works well. Both the white and red sangrias on the drink menu are yummy, and they have quite a few mixed drinks and a few wines for $5 as well. Service is pretty good, and the patio is nice-- it has fans and a mix of tables and comfy seating. Your view is of the parking lot and 1st Avenue, but there's not much they can do about that. Cheap food and drinks with free parking on a patio in Cherry Creek? I'm a fan!

We happened in here a few weeks ago while trying to avoid the crowds in Cherry Creek. I was happily surprised to find that they have an amazing happy hour. $5 wines - but the best part, is that you're not limited to just Chardonnay or Merlot. They have a handful of other varietals that are also included in the happy hour pricing. We were meeting friends a bit later to eat, but the happy food menu was also tempting - we tried the Shrimptini and the Spicy Shrimp and Eggplant - both were tasty, but the best part is that they were only $3.95. You can bet that if it weren't such a hike, this place would be on my regular rotation. Next time around I might venture out onto the patio for some people watching while enjoying my cheap eats and drinks - it's bound to be amusing.

as long as I'm not paying - it's okay. Other than that I would choose a different place, plenty in Cherry Hills to choose from.

Great place to eat dinner or lunch. Staff is always courteous and attentive. Food is superb. Love their lobster bisque. Especially in a cold day like today. We sat by two avalanche players today. Very cute!

So, we visited this place two times in two nights - definitely not on purpose, but I mention this because our first visit I would have given them 2 maybe 3 stars, but our second night bumped it up to a 4. And the difference was service. The food is actually very good, the carpaccio is HUGE and delicious, salmon is yummy, their salads are very good as is their risotto (among the food we tried). Also kids mac and cheese is yummy! Our issue was the first night it took FOREVER between ordering and getting food or drinks refilled. And we were a pretty large party, you'd think we'd get better service. It was so bad that by the time our food arrived, I didn't want it, and was just wanting to get out of there and go home. Fast forward to night #2 ... unbeknownst to us, a celebration that had started for 12 people and expanded to 30 had been planned here. The staff were extremely accomodating as we bumped up the numbers, and the service throughout the night was very good - a major improvement from the night before. And the food was consistently as good as it had been. SO ... liking to see the cup half full, we chalk up the first night as an oddity and give the place the benefit of the doubt - food consistently good and service and staff were wonderful night #2. It is on the pricey side ... just be prepared for that! (-:

Not worth. All four of us thought our good was mediocre. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Even my specialty peach drink was bleh. The service was horrible to boot, there was barely anyone there! It was empty on a Friday night when we walked in so we should have known but wanted to try it anyway. Spent $110, felt like we got food that's $40 at any other Italian restaurant. It's cherry creek, go somewhere else and you'll do better...

Whenever were shopping with the kid and it's too late to go home for lunch, we end up eating a Brio. The patio keeps sucking us in. Such a nice atmosphere. This time we sat on the couches and had a nice casual lunch. Great place if you have a kid. They can walk around the table, people watch, or sit on the couch with their books. No forcing them to sit still at a table. Now for the food. It's ok. I had the tomato and caprese app. The tomatos were small (southern girl loves tomatoes), so it was ok. The kids mac and cheese was ok. Large portion, but I have made better a home. My husband got the burger. Yes, the burger at the Italian joint. It was pretty good. Even though it was well done, the overall burger was juicy.

Man, this place rocks!! My mom and I come here all the time for lunch. It's basically our go-to spot. We always order a few things and split it. I would definitely recommend that route because then you can order a ton of food and leave without feeling too ashamed. Here are some items we've tried over the course of our visits: -Sliced Steak Bruschetta (This is by far their best bruschetta. I wouldn't have guessed it, but it definitely got our vote.) -Chopped Salad (Amazing salad. I would recommend it for sure.) -Roasted Red Pepper Bruschetta (This was tasty, but not their best.) -Tomato and Mozzarella Bruschetta (Standard bruschetta, but it was very good.) -Eggplant Pomodoro (Definitely recommend this dish. So good.) -Sweet Potato & Chicken Risotto (I loved this, but my mom wasn't a huge fan. To each his own, I guess.) -Seafood Risotto (I'm not sure if that's the exact name, but it was something to that effect. This was delicious. Definitely a highlight.) A few things to note: +They have the greatest mints in the world. You definitely want to snag a handful of these babies as you head out the door. +They don't serve diet coke in this establishment. Only pepsi. I KNOW. It was almost a dealbreaker for me, but whatever, the food is worth suffering through a mediocre at best diet pepsi.

Brio is decent Italian food if you're looking for something to fill the belly. We ended up here out of default one night when we tried to go somewhere else and found they were closed. Enter Brio. We opted to sit in the bar area, the place was quite dead inside and with that said the bartender took his sweet time coming over and bringing menu's and taking our drink orders. Maybe a miscommunication but still unacceptable in my book. Dinner included a Cesar Salad for me, companion wanted anchovies on the side for his salty craving and yet they were on top of my salad when it was brought to the table. I didn't mention anything but I was slightly irritated. Entrees for the evening were Pasta Pesto for me and Chicken Limone for him. Both were delivered timely and looked very tasty. My Pesto Pasta hit the spot enough, I enjoyed all the veggies, spinach, roasted red peppers and onions. The pesto wasn't thick like I expected, it was thinned out, the flavor was still there though. He enjoyed his Chicken Limone with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. The veggies were roasted very nicely and I snuck my fair share of them. The garlic mash were just that, garlic first and potato later. I liked them, I like garlic, but these are not going to be for everyone, the garlic is way aggressive IMO. We both agreed that the salt in both the dishes was excessive. I needed a lot of water to help with all the salt in the dishes. Easy on the salt guys, I can always add salt if I need to, you can't take away salt. I think Brio in Cherry Creek suffers by location. It's nestled in the middle of Cherry Creek where culinary restaurants compete for neighborhood clientele and this place is not at the top of the list. Like I said we ended up here out of lack of choices and reservations. This place would do well in Stapleton where they would be top destination - just trying to help you out Brio.

Nicely decorated Italian chain restaurant. I would say pretty good as far as Italian food chains go (I mean its better than Olive Garden.) The house side salad is REALLY good and fresh tasting. The dish I had was tasty. Servers were nice. Ambiance was nice. I had a very NICE time :)

After finishing a full day at work I stopped by Brio around 8pm on a weekday to have a drink and meal on my way home. The bartender was pleasant but un-knowledgable about the menu. Barely made an attempt to make any type of conversation. The food was not good, to say the least. I ordered a steak and asked for some A1 sauce to go with it, the bartender rolled her eyes at me and said i wouldn't need sauce to go on their steak. i asked for it medium and it came out rare!! Almost blue rare!! I understand steak is difficult to nail perfectly but it wasn't even close. I asked the bartender if they could cook it some more of which she sighed and rolled her eyes at me for a second time. They re-fired the steak and served it on the same plate of veggies they served the first time which were not re-fired and I only got half the steak back. So now I have half a steak and a cold plate of potatoes and vegetables to go with it. I simply asked for a check paid in full and left with out trying again.

I walked into Brio after some shopping.. really good food and the atmosphere was very nice.. and comfortable. They have a happy hour menu $2.95, that is a must try! Cozy place and welcoming! I will be back

Exceptional food AND service. I had the chicken limone and my mother had the chicken milanese. Both were excellent and were very large portions (we both took home leftovers). The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and nicely decorated for the holidays. What exceeded my expectations though was the service. Larry was probably one of the best servers I've ever had.. in my life. Very attentive and genuine. Not sure if it was a slow hour, or (i hope) it was because the restaurant was properly staffed, but he never seemed to be in a rush, like almost every server always is. He took the time to talk to us, regarding our meals, my mother being in town, etc. It was just really nice to have someone that seemed like they actually cared. Brio, you are lucky to have Larry on your team. I hope you recognize his efforts :)

I wish I went at happy hour, because the mediocre food is a total rip off. I had the worst breaded veal for approx $23. (The side of spaghettini was basically overcooked spaghetti -- nothing "ini" about it). I never like to review things that I don't like. But, 48 hours later, I'm still thinking about how disappointed I was with everything about Brio. The bar however is really beautiful. It's a great space. The service was really excellent too. It's just the meal that was awful.

As far as good authentic dining in Colorado I thought for the last 3-4 years that no place could ever beat out Venice Ristorante, but when I came here I was pleasantly surprised! Great food and great service!

My family has been coming here for years, not sure why I keep trying to give it another chance. I like to play a game: Try ordering the half roast chicken and place bets on if they have "run out." Well, I win the game every time because THEY ARE OUT OF IT EVERY SINGLE TIME. Doesn't matter when you go or on what day, they are out. There is NO excuse for it. Chicken is one of those things you just don't run out of, and especially if they know it is one of their best sellers. We went the other night for my brother's birthday. I ordered it and was told they ran out (per usual). IT WAS A FRIDAY NIGHT AT 6PM. No excuse. A restaurant should not be out of a dish at 6 on a friday, it's not like you don't know you'll be busy. If it was just once then maybe I could forgive it, but its always. ALWAYS. I've even tried ordering it for lunch and they were out. ITS A CHICKEN. Why don't you just take it off the menu if you never have it. Or better yet, make it a special with the tag "limited supply." I asked why they were out and the waitress said it's because they throw them away at the end of the night. Ok, then what are you doing with the rest of the chicken? Why just the half chickens get tossed but the chicken breasts stay? When she told me they were out she stood right behind me and was pressuring me to order fast. I ordered chicken marsala, DO NOT ORDER THIS. It is a joke of the dish. If you want better chicken marsala go to macaroni grill honestly. I don't think they even know what chicken marsala is. I got this over-seasoned chicken breast with this super thick gravy just dolloped on top. Disgusting. The "grilled vegetables" were burned to a crisp and they charged $20 for this chicken breast with gravy. Meanwhile they charge the fabled half chicken only $15, no wonder they say they are out - they don't want you to buy it! The worst part: As I stated, we went for my brother's birthday. My mom had brought a cake as a surprise for my brother. She personally told the waitress we have a cake and handed it to her. The waitress come to the table after dinner with the dessert tray and asked if we wanted dessert. What? She knew we had a cake in the back! My brother, not knowing we had a cake because it was a surprise, ordered dessert. Then 5 minutes later they come out with the cake my mother made AND the dessert my brother got fooled into ordering. What was THAT. She knew we had a cake but tricked him into ordering dessert because the cake was a surprise? It made everyone super uncomfortable. Not to mention we were all already mad because of the horrible chicken "on a brick" excuse of marsala. We told the manager about how upset we were. He walked over, handed us his business card and left. Why would we want your business card? We all thought it was some form of sorry until we looked at it and realized it was just his card. Thanks, now I know your name, that does not make up for anything. I was very disappointed. Thanks Brio for ruining my brother's birthday.

I really wish I had been here under different circumstances. Some friends and I bought a "Dinner and a Makeover" package that turned out to be a Mary Kay party with Soup and Salad. Boo! But, I can say the bar area is relaxed and comfortable. The service was good. The drinks are pricey, though. They have happy hour food, not drinks, and a glass of house red will cost you $7. A Miller Lite was $5. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the patio looked like it would be a great place to enjoy a drink with some friends. They have free valet parking and share a main parking lot with Elway's & Bed Bath & Beyond. The minestrone is really, really good. No Campbell's served here! It was very hearty. And, the chopped salad with the red wine vinaigrette is quite good as well. But, the combo was a bit underwhelming for the package we purchased. It would have been nice to try one of their actual entrees. I probably won't return, as I've truly sworn off Cherry Creek at this point. That traffic/parking/driving headache is just not worth it. But, if you find yourself in the area and your wallet is feeling a bit heavy, you should definitely check this place out.

Went for a birthday dinner Saturday 11/30/2013. Service was horrible. Our waiter brought the dessert tray before everyone had finished with their entrée. He laughed when we said we haven't finished with dinner and continued with his sales pitch. The cake I ordered was frozen. The lamb my brother ordered was overcooked. I ordered a chicken and pasta dish and there may have been three tiny pieces of chicken. The Olive Garden offers better food for less. This is the second bad experience at Brio and I won't be going back for a third.

Pretty decent, nothing special, good casual Italian chain restaurant. The place was practically empty and service was goods. The bread basket tasted fresh. House salad was good, and the chicken skewers were ok, lightly breaded and seasoned. Others had pasta and salmon main courses and all were pleased with their dishes. The seasonal specials were pretty good. Overall a pleasant experience but not particularly memorable. I would consider going back but I usually like more unique restaurants that are not chains.

For chain Italian, Brio is hard to beat. Sure, its pricey but the food is surprisingly good. I have a hard time rating a chain 4 stars, but the food here was great. This is a type of place where the service is either going to be a hit or miss. You are either going to have a good waiter or not and that will effect how you view Brio. On this night, the service was good. My girlfriend and I ordered a Bruschetta appetizer. Pretty standard, but the bread tasted fresh and good. I had the Pasta Alla Vodka. This dish, a staple at most Italian places, usually tastes the same. The dish at Brio stood out compared to other places and tasted fresh. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken and Shrimp special and this was also excellent. A great place, but a little on the expensive side for chain Italian. However, I will return soon.

Nice afternoon on the patio. Shared a lovely steak salad with my friend and a bottle of white wine. The bread and butter were delicious. Hard to stop eating it and bread with wine would also have been a perfect meal.

Went here with my girlfriend. We didn't sit in the bar, which looked warm an inviting, but sat in the restaurant which was spacious and a bit cold. The hostess and server were very attentive and friendly. I got the chicken 'under the brick' it was pretty good, the roasted vegetables were very good, but they went a bit stingy with the marsala sauce. The girlfriend got a penne, I can't remember which, and it was kind of dry and she didn't like it much. To sum up: service was great; food was good, but I'd expect more for the price.

Its 12:30 on a weekday in Cherry Creek and you've lost your wife, 9 times out of 10 she's grabbing lunch at Brio. Outside of the food, the amount of middle aged women here for weekday lunch is astounding. Food talk: Awesome salads and bread. Service was very attentive while we waited 30 minutes for the rest of our party. Solid lunch place if not a bit pricey. Also the dessert sampler is killer.

I did not enjoy Brio, I have defiantly experienced better. I hated the ambiance, it was so bright; Turn the lights down!! The crowd was entertaining though, fancy elderly people, young women all dressed up, basically Cherry Creek wannabees!! The food was OK, it wasn't bad, it certainly wasn't great either. I had pasta Ala vodka and my husband had the pork chops. The salads would have been more than enough as a meal, they were huge! I had the wedge salad, and my husband had the chopped salad. I am not kidding when I say they could have been a meal, I was stuffed after the salad. And can I just ask since when does a wedge salad come with creamy Parmesan and Gorgonzola crumbles? I don't know, maybe I'm just a traditional gal, but I like mine with blue cheese, the way it should be!! Our server was a little over bearing as well, he was like the wine pusher man of Brio. Maybe I didn't want wine with my dinner, more less a bottle, I didn't realize that was a crime, but apparently, at Brio it is!! This opened in where the old Macaroni Grill was in Cherry Creek, and I didn't think that place was too bad, as far as chain Italian restaurants go, I wish it would have never left. You could get a decent meal there and it wasn't overpriced. I have to say, Brio is totally overpriced for what you get.

I want to like this place I really do, especially because they have a great happy hour deal. However both times we've gone in for the late night happy hour it's been a total joke. The bartender has no idea what she's doing and somehow we always wind up with her as our server. She forgets orders or drinks and leaves you sitting for extremely long periods of time. Now I would be more understanding on the leaving us sitting for longer than average periods of time if it were busy but it hasn't been either time. What is she doing? Standing around chatting with other servers or nowhere to be seen. Last time we were there she clearly forgot to put our order in as the table that came after us got their food way before we did. I was hungry and thirsty and it took at least 5 minutes to get a glass of water. Food wise it's not bad, the flat bread pizza is good and the carpaccio is a steal. I think that the fried ravioli's are alright, but they're nothing special. I think I've learned my lesson and will be avoiding Brio for late night happy hour but I might give it a shot for an actual meal if I don't have to be in the bar area.

Super fancy location, large bar, anh calamari, happy hour - no drink specials, so so quality food on the hh menu. Stopped in here on a mini happy hour tour of Cherry Creek with co-workers. One used to work for this company in Ohio and was raving about it all... I had to tell him i was sorely disappointed. Calamari was not the greatest, the aoli was great, but i'd have just ordered that on the side! (and really how can flavored mayo not be yummy!) The small pizza came cold and fast - indicating it was someone else's that was never delivered... ick. The wine list was waay more pricey and no deals for happy hour. Probably would go back for a fancy meal, but not for happy hour.

I was quite pleasantly surprised by Brio, for both its tasteful décor and extensive menu. During dinner, the four of us grew more impressed by the minute. Our server, John, was very enthusiastic about his job and knew the menu by heart. No wonder it seemed as though everyone in Cherry Creek was there last Wednesday evening--the place is an instant success. My husband and I had the lasagne Bolognese, which was perfectly prepared and gorgeous to behold, as well as ample in its proportions. When I asked for red pepper and extra Parmesan cheese ,the request was well-received-- two containers of freshly grated cheese and another of dried red pepper flakes arrived. Besides being classic and beautiful, Brio is a very gracious, diner-friendly place. My entrée came with a wonderful "bistecca insalata" (no beef in it, contrary to its name) for an additional $3.95 (the salads costs $5.25 when ordered separately). It was a very clean and fresh wedge of lettuce with Gorgonzola cheese, bacon, and tomato bits doused with a creamy Parmesan dressing. I'm planning to order that again on my next visit to Brio. All the salads on Brio's menu sound delicious. The other two diners with us had seafood, which they thoroughly enjoyed. All this was preceded by Bruschetta Quattro--four toppings, two pieces of each variation--a fantastic appetizer that served four, at $14.50. The waiter brought a tray with replicas of the desserts offered--traditional tiramisú, crême brulée, chocolate-caramel pudding among them. It was helpful to see what they looked like before choosing one's coda to a perfect meal. I liked the ambiance at Brio. There was no loud background music, and we could hear each other speak. Don't let the loud pop music outside in the entrance area scare you away. You won't hear it inside. Apparently, it is intended to "enhance" the outdoor atmosphere on the front patio, which will be pressed into service during warmer days.. Here is a notice that I found on the Brio website: NEW MENU STARTING TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20th! BRIO invites you to savor the flavors of Fall with our new menu creations like... Seared Scallops & Orzo Primavera Spicy BBQ Chicken Flatbread Roasted Sweet Potato & Chicken Risotto Artichoke Crusted Beef Medallions Braised Beef Fettuccine Shrimp & Scallop Linquine Grilled Citrus Chicken & Orzo

I love Brio for their happy hour! They have appetizer plates starting at $3.95 and drinks for $5! I met up with a few of my girlfriends to catch happy hour and man did we order majority of the food off their happy hour menu. We ordered their eggplant fries, tomato margherita flatbread, roasted garlic spinach and artichoke dip with flatbread, and spicy shrimp and eggplant. Plus 3-2 drinks each of their white peach sangria or Italian lemonade for us to hammer down with our appetizers. We loved our server, he was so awesome and made sure our glasses were filled as we inhaled our food. The peach sangria is not overly sweet and just the perfect amount of alcohol where you can taste just a hint of it. It was like drinking summer in a glass, so delicious! The food was absolutely delicious! And from our viewpoint semi healthy lol. As we had no red meat dishes. I loved their take of eggplant fries with a marinara dipping sauce, I will be trying to make this at home. The spicy shrimp with the eggplant was magnificent as well. These were two dishes I didn't even think of ordering. So thanks to my girlfriends in doing so that I may try it. The other two dishes I ordered were tasty too but not as good as the other two. We will be back for happy hour! Side note, it's also a dangerous happy hour as this restaurant is located next to cherry creek mall LOL.

Eh...I think this place is a little overrated honestly. My friend and I went here for an early lunch over the weekend. The sevice was great and they were quick to accomodate us with a nice booth in the bar area so that she had room for her newborn's stroller. Our waitress was friendly and quick and really seemed to enjoy her job. I ordered the lunch portion of the salmon over angel hair pasta with veggies. This was just ok; not much flavor really. The portion was also teeeeeeeny tiny considering the price on it. My friend seemed to enjoy her meal. I don't really see coming back here. Overall, good service, average food, way overpriced...not a huge fan.

I am very impressed with their happy hour here. I recently came here with a coworker and we had a great time. We sat at the bar because we didn't want to stay long, we were greeted fairly promptly, although our bartender had a big area to take care of and several cocktails to make before he could get to us. I can't remember what cocktails we had but they were on happy hour and were a great value, the food was too. The food took longer to come out than we would have anticipated. Again, the bartender just had a lot of people to serve and little to no help. Next time I am in Cherry Creek if it is happy hour I will stop in for drinks and maybe an appetizer but otherwise I don't go out of my way for this Italian food because how hard is it to mix noodles and make a sauce? I can do that at home. Great ambiance and friendly staff.

Mostly a happy hour stop for me and the girls. My go to here is the Beef Carpaccio, and the Black Pepper Shrimp. Its a ton of food and its delicious! I'm not a fan of the sugary happy hour cocktails so I normally just order a glass of the Pinot Grigio. Finally, it's pretty close to home and happy hour lasts until 6:30, and they have a great patio. Yes, its a chain, but for quick and delicious bites on the cheap we will keep coming back here.

For being in the Cherry Creek area, this place isn't too badly overpriced. The atmosphere is sophisticated, yet there were people dressed in casual clothes. The food is FULL of fantastic flavors! I had the ravioli, which seems plain but it was surprisingly flavor packed, and incredibly filling. I could barely finish! Rating it only 4 stars because they weren't busy, yet service was a bit slow.

Had the chicken piccata. It was very delicious and even convinced the nearby couple to order it as well. Only thing that bummed me out was that it didn't come with angel hair pasta. Vegetables were good though. They also gave a nice helping of bread before my meal which was nice.

Great food! Nice atmosphere! Went with the whole family and friends, had a nice private area. I got the veal dish which was really good! Everyone else got the grilled salmon and they loved it! Lamb chops were also out of this world.

Food is great and our server was excellent, that is, when we finally got seated. We stood at the hostess stand for a really long time, and it wasn't very busy. I'm pretty sure she saw us and pretended not to, so she could finish setting tables. Nice lunch menu, and really good kid's menu that you don't see very often elsewhere.

Such an amazing group of staff where they uplift the atmosphere with greeting you with a smile right when you walk in. We got sat down immediately and our server came with waters as soon as we sat down, the atmosphere was so clean and wonderful, staff was very well contained of the big group parties. We got our drinks so quick it was almost like our waitress already knew what we wanted and got it to us. There were managers walking around seeing if everything was good which is always a plus to have the managers actually interact with the tables as well. Overall my experience was amazing!

Although I'm not a fan of chains, It's been very hard to find a good Italian restaurant in denver but brio does a pretty good job. The purses of pasta with vodka sauce is very nice. The pasta is delicate tender and the ricotta filling is flavorful and light. The veal Marsala is well done too as well as the pasta that is paired with it. The key lime pie is rich and sweet, the creme brûlée is well done. The cheesecake was so so.

Delicious steak salad and grilled salmon salads enjoyed here. Nice atmosphere for lunch. Not too pricy. Good wine list. Close to Cherry Creek mall, so you can avoid the food court and have something much better!

They allowed a dog in the restaurant! My family and I wanted a nice lunch while shopping at the mall. As we were finishing our meal, we saw a lady bring a dog into the restaurant. It was NOT a service dog, which I am fine with. This was a pet. In fact, it was a small dog and the lady brought it in a basket. It even barked and she let it put its head on the table! Yuck! I called the manager the next day to tell him I objected to this. He said the lady was a long time patron. During our conversation, he also said he didn't know what the laws were. Really?? You are the manager of a chain restaurant and you don't know what the local laws are? I called the Health Department and they readily told me that a dog must be a service dog and on the patio. That's the law in Colorado. Furthermore, I sent an email to their corporate office. That, of course, was ignored. I would never eat at a Brio again.

I have eaten at this place several times with good experiences, except for the last when the waitress was horrible (the only time we saw her was when she took our order). Pros: * Good food * Free/easy parking * Decent conversation environment Cons: * Cherry Creek area can be traffic-filled * Wait-staff could be hit-or-mis * Loud music (they will turn down if request) * Could be interpreted as pricey (almost $20 per person) I would recommend to friend, with possible hesitancy.

Brio "Tuscan Grille" is nothing more than a table-turning Italian-inspired restaurant located at Cherry Creek. Typical mall-food option with the only difference being the valet team's obvious attempt at suggesting otherwise. Parking the Jaguars & Range Rovers at the front entrance is pretentious and slightly opposite to the product served. The service at the beginning was just A-OK (as the 3 stars suggests). The food was bland from beginning to end - or at least what I ordered was. I asked the server if the Artichoke Dip was cheesy & tasty, he said very cheesy. He wasn't wrong, but the cheese used was a wrong choice to make. Too much Parmesan can just be gross. This was not an exception to the rule, unfortunately. My next course was the Lobster Bisque which tasted like canned Cream of Mushroom, yet smelled like Lobster. Lastly, the Chicken Caesar Salad was nothing to brag about but I would say was the best item I ate. Lastly, please train your servers to refill water as the guest approaches the middle of the glass. Do not wait until you are asked before refilling someone's drink. I needed that water to wash down the taste of food. And if you're wondering why I didn't mention the food issue to the server, it's because he never came back to check on us after the runner brought out the food. In fact, it wasn't until we were done eating he came over to see how everything was. At that point, I was too parched to speak!

This is a regular go to restaurant for us. It is close to our house and our meals have always been good here. If you want to eat light, they have some very good salads as well as great chicken. If you want regular Italian, that is always good as well. They also have a good happy hour in the bar.

I have been wanting to go to Tuscany, Italy for a very long time, and I finally made it, via the Brio Tuscan Grille. Interior - browns, tans, whites, black, and just so very relaxing! I love the interior! Open with lots of tables, but it doesn't feel crowded at all! The curtains that hang from the top center of the ceiling and extend outward, filter out the strong sunlight, and soften it, as it gently falls to the interior of the restaurant, the way I picture it in Italy. There are booths, tables, and just wonderful places to sit and enjoy friends and family, and nice conversation. Oh, conversations are so easy to hear here too! There are several areas for private parties as well. The bar has its own area, with the bar seating 20 people very comfortably. There are also several tables and booths in the bar area as well. Did I mention the comfortable seating area directly next to the bar, with couches and a tv? I want to go, have a drink, and just melt into one of those couches and enjoy the yummy food! Patio - I can't wait to try their outdoor patio! Comfortable, inviting, and it's calling my name! I can't wait to sit there when it's warmer outside. Oh, they have both heaters and ceiling fans too, the best of both worlds! Service - excellent! They are visible, but not in your face, just waiting in the background to take care of your every need. Menu - you name it, they've got it! Brunch is on the weekend too! Parking - well, that's a different matter. This restaurant is located in Cherry Creek, which has limited parking. The restaurant does have valet, so use it, it is worth it. Prices - you will spend a bit, so be prepared. See you there!

We have been there twice since discovering a couple months ago. A wonderful central location to meet friends for happy hour or dinner. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the delicious and large proportions. Service was excellent, even including an escort to the restroom when I asked where it was. Beautiful restaurant. A fine place to take company when you want to impress. We plan to go back often.

Great happy hour menu! And not small happy hour food either. It's a great value for the dollar and decent portions. We ordered severe apps and couldn't finish them all. They have drink specials, but I stuck mostly to the wine list which has plenty of offerings. I highly recommend the burger and the spinach artichoke dip.

Been here twice. Decor & layout awesome. Area in Cherry Creek awesome. Food was just OK. Typical Italian restaurant. So the "Signature" dishes don't stand out as something striking nor something to write home about. Portions are decent but over priced when all factors above are considered. The Wine Night selection could be more diverse and upgraded. This comes after 2 visits, both on a weekend and weekday.

Really nice interior, enjoyable dining space. Food is not good. Tries to be fine dining and flavored but not quality mamas Italian or anywhere close. Olive Garden is better and cheaper, even though OG isn't all that good.

We attempted to enjoy Sunday brunch on the patio here, but, no matter where you sit you get the stench of rotting garbage from the dumpsters which are next to the patio. To top it off: an abundance of flies kept trying to join us at the table. The food is pretty good and the staff could be more attentive.

Food was good and service was better. Sat in bar area on a Saturday night because dining area was a 1/2 hr wait. The bar tender served food and drinks to everyone sitting at the bar and all tables surrounding the bar. She had a great attitude, was fast, knew all of the menu, and was very impressive. I believe her name was Matty (not sure on spelling). Btw , they have food that is not on the menu so don't hesitate to ask if you don't see it but have it in mind.

Started with the prochuitto (spelling?) And portabello mushroom pizza- delicious! Washed it down with a White Peach Palmer (peach lemonade and iced tea). Main entrees are large enough to split with a lady friend.

My wife and I went here to have Valentines Day dinner, on the recommendation of a good friend. The steak bruschetta was awesomely unforgettable. My wife ordered their lobster shrimp fettuccine and as she put it completely devine. One of the best she's had. I had their Tuscan pork chops with a side of angel hair pasta with the pomodor sauce. Now as scrumptious as the pork chops were it was a minuscule bit dry and over cooked. The mashed potatoes were good but very plain, it would have been better if there was some parmesan cheese and or chives integrated into them. The pasta on the other hand was exquisitely aldente and the sauce was surprisingly lightly seasoned to all of my Italian friends grandmothers satisfaction. The service was impeccable. We will return for future meals

The first and only time we ever attempted to eat here we stood at the front and waited for either a hostess to seat us or someone to let us know if we seat ourselves (we would not know having never been). We, along with another couple who entered shortly after we did, waited for over ten minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us. I made eye contact with waitstaff and tried to get their attention but after almost fifteen minutes we just left. The initial experience has not left me wanting to go back.

As Zia Rosa would say, "accettabile, ma non eccezionale." (Actually, I think a large percentage of my former girlfriends used to say that about me). Hmmmmm. Oh yeah, about Brio's . . . All-in-all, at the very most, a 3 star experience, and one I probably won't repeat. To sum it up, Brio's is very much like Maggiano's. But, whereas Maggiano's is a 3 star restaurant to which I'll return, and which works; Brio's is a 3 star restaurant to which I won't return, and which didn't really work. The fascinating details follow: There were 10 of us looking for dinner on a Thursday night. On arrival (around 9:30), the hostess told us there was a 20% gratuity on parties of 10 or more. Now don't get me wrong: I'm all for generously tipping servers, having been one myself. But when did 18% become 20%? (I guess I'm getting so out of it that I'm not in touch with current restaurant practices). That aside, we really liked Jordan, our server. As to the food, not so much. The calamari and carpaccio appetizers were very good, but each of the chicken dishes was way over-cooked, to the point of being tough and dry. And I noticed that some of those who ordered pastas left a good deal on their plates, and some of the toppings pushed off to the side. On a positive note: The drinks were fairly priced and well made. By the time we left at 10:30 or so, the place was a morgue, and we were the only ones there. Now since I started with Zia Rosa, I am going to end with Zia Rosa: As Zia Rosa also used to say, Brio's, "arrivaderci, perdente."

I originally tried to book my company holiday party at CPK and was treated like garbage... best issue ever! Brio was so super nice and very accomidating. When we all walked in we had a grand banquet set up and our servers were so sweet, funny, and attentive! The only reason I'm knocking off a star is because a lot of our food was cold. I know its hard to serve 16 plates at once... but hey, it was cold. I recommend the artichoke crusted steak dish! FOLLOW UP: I came in for my bday brunch a week later and I must say the brunch dishes are quite tasty... so were the pitchers of white sangria! Still, our food was cold. I mean cold. Lets work on this BRIO!

Came here with a friend for lunch. He had a coupon and wanted to try it. The decor is very Las Vegas, something from Caesar's or an over the top Italian home. Besides that the food wasn't awesome. I had a pizza and salad and everything tasted ok. The pizza sauce tasted like it was from the can and wasn't anything as elevated as I thought it would be. The staff is super nice so I have to give them 2 stars for that, otherwise not worth going to.

  • Neil A.

Just visited Brio for the first time. It was extremely impressive although there was nothing revelatory about the visit, the food, the atmosphere, or the service. Why? Every aspect of the visit was solid to exactly the same level - reliably above average, never superb and never mediocre. Even in the best places, usually you see strengths and weaknesses. Every part of our experience was consistently very good, never mediocre and never transcendent. Solidly enjoyed everything, including: -Bread was nice -Spinach artichoke spread was tasty as was the crisp flatbread it was served with -Lobster and shrimp fettuccine hit the spot nicely - it can be tricky to have a flavorful dish featuring lobster. They navigated this nicely, with good flavor, but not drowning out the lobster -Ravioli de Bello - also good -Ghirardelli chocolate cake - Delicious. The lil one proclaimed it his 'favorite in the world' There are many dishes at other places that I may crave more than any of these, but this visit gave me some confidence that I could explore the menu at Brio and not be disappointed. Very satisfying visit.

Brio has good food and serves a good portion. I am Italian and I think their food is pretty good. It's not Moms, but I will clean my plate. The food is very tasty. The menu is loaded with options. The pricing is fair. A good way to try them out is during the weekly Happy Hour. They have a large selection of apps at $4. Drink prices are reduced also. Service is good.

My entire extended family and I went here for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. I was expecting an atmosphere like Macaroni Grill, The Cheesecake Factory, or Maggiano's, all of which I am not a fan of. Brio is an enormous restaurant but you don't feel as though you are in a huge box or anything. Our server, Aaron, was spectacular. My family is full of every allergy and dietary restriction possible and he did not mess up a single order. The portions are huge, I had more than enough for lunch the next day. I would suggest the tomato bisque, but beware the cup is a huge bowl! I also enjoyed the shrimp verduta, light and tasty with a white wine sauce. I wouldn't go to Brio on a date, it's not that intimate in my opinion, but it is a perfect place for large group dinner that is sure to please everyone. They have a tasty and extensive gluten free menu as well, something hard to find at an Italian restaurant.

Extremely average food at above average prices. Even in Cherry Creek there are better options. The salads are fine, but the brunch is just a waste of money. Unfortunately my mother in law likes this place, but if you have other options I suggest skipping this place.

This was our second trip to Brio in Cherry Creek, and neither visit really impressed me, so I'm fairly certain there won't be a third. This time around the only noteworthy part of the experience was the speedy and polite service. The decor is, to me, a little fussy. Not a fan of pink and gold, I guess. The curtains around their banquet area are really a bit much, and it just looks unkempt. Our very polite waiter, who's name I unfortunately didn't catch, brought us water and took our drink orders right away, but sadly the exterior of both my husband's drinking glasses had dishwasher muck on them, so we sent them back. The outside of mine was dirty too, but I didn't find out till after I had consumed half my tea. Didn't bother sending it back. Here's to hoping the inside was cleaner. I didn't look. The Cesar salad was ok, but I've had much better. My husband's Chicken Limone looked terrible. I wouldn't have eaten it, but he's a trooper. The sauce had been sitting for a while I think, because it had developed a skin and was clumpy. The meat was dry too. There was no Spaghettini served with it, just some sad looking veggies that had seen better days. I tried the Pasta ala Vodka, on the waiter's suggestion. It didn't have the spicy tomato cream sauce with vodka flavor I was expecting. In fact, this was the first dish I ever ordered at a nice restaurant that required that I add salt and pepper to make it palatable. The sauce was so bland, tasting weakly of tomatoes and cream, but no vodka, and no spice. It did however have a mystery ingredient that might have been thinly sliced water chestnut. At first I thought maybe it was garlic, but garlic has a flavor, so no. But why they would add something so weird to an Italian dish, I can't even imagine. And there was at least one fork full of the stuff. Just bizarre. I ate all of it just in an effort to figure out what it was, to no avail. Had the dish been served hot rather than lukewarm, that might have helped some, but I doubt it. The pasta was a little mushy, and the ricotta filling wasn't seasoned any better than the sauce. Just over all, very Chef Boyardee with some possible Chun King thrown in for a twist. I really wanted to like Brio, but they just aren't trying as far as I can tell. They made me miss Macaroni Grill.

New in Colorado and had never heard of Brio until I passed by it while shopping nearby. I was more intrigued because of the pleasant smells around the building, intrigued enough to want to go in. The interior reminded me of Olive Garden/Macaroni Grille... pretty typical Italian place but nice nonetheless. The service was prompt and our tables were clean. They also offer you a small bread basket to start. I had the lobster bisque (very creamy, not the best I've had because it was a little salty for my taste, but not bad at all) and the penne alla vodka. Honestly, the penne is what won me over. There's something about the sauce that's different from other places, there's a bit of spice in it to give it an added kick. Overall, felt pretty satisfied for my first experience.

I've been to this place several times now and have always had rock solid service. Their bruschetta is awesome and they also do these little pizza flatbreads that are tasty with some dips. Its a BIG restaurant so even if you dont have a booking you dont have to wait long to be seated. Their prices range around $15-25 for an entree with only a few dishes around $30, and the range of food is pretty impressive, You can get your standard pasta's or get some more northern italian food which ranges on various scallopinie's, picatta's and the like, or some nice seafood dishes. Their service has always been great in my mind, especially after comparing it to True Foods Kitchen just down the road in cherry creek which left alot to be desired given the outrageous wait times there. Brio is definitely one of my favorites and is not uber expensive for being in Cherry creek.

Went here on Black Friday while shopping around Park Meadows. I was actually pretty impressed -- the interior is very pretty! We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, and it was delicious. They served it with two different sauces, and I'm totally a saucey kinda gal, so I loved the variety. I ordered Lobster Bisque and a Caesar Salad. The salad was awesome. Perfect caesar dressing. The Lobster Bisque was good, and rich, but a little too creamy for my taste. Too much cream, not enough lobster. Would be back to taste some of the pasta dishes!

We were there for dinner last night, courtesy of our financial planner Leslie Myers of LPL Financial. The staff was right on and the food very tasty. As I was enjoying mushroom soup, a server apologized for forgetting to place my order along with the others at our table. It appeared after only a few minutes and several apologies. The Spicy jumbo shrimp served with orzo, grilled asparagus, zucchini, tomatoes and lemon vinaigrette was worth the wait. We'll be happy to return.

This place is wonderful! Excellent place to dine. The price for the quality of food is phenomenal! Our waiter, Carlton was cute and great and attentive. We had such a great time that I didn't realize he forgot to bring me my salad until I'd gotten home. The atmosphere is nice. The decor was great. But the food. THE FOOD! I am a picky New Yorker and yet, I was blown away. The lamb chops will make you go home and slap your neighbors! The pork chops will make you re-think what a good pork chop is supposed to be! They even gave everyone in our party gift cards at the end of the night (not sure if they liked us or if they were trying to get rid of us for having too good a time!) If you are looking for a great place to eat at a very affordable price in an easy to reach location that is close enough to downtown to be convenient yet centrally located and far enough away from the silliness of downtown and Capital Hill this place is a definite hit!

I went here about a week ago, and I can't even remember the exact dish I ordered, only that it was too salty to finish. I just remember wanting to gulp down loads of water during and after. Everything on my dish was just salty. And I tend to like things on the saltier side, but this was just too much. Maybe no one noticed that the top of the salt shaker came off in the kitchen? The only thing I really enjoyed was my cocktail. The caesar wasn't anything to really write about either. I had a much better one at crepes 'n crepes the other night. Sadly, Brio is a no go for me.

Headline: A chain, but a bad representation Brio is a chain of tuscan italian restaurants. Since it's a chain, you know what you are going to get. It's a little more pricy than, say, Carinos, but also has better quality food normally. What's so different about this one? Let's start with the bar - where my wife and I like to sit. Instead of the ubiquitous raised booth, we have a half-booth and barstools. However, the barstools are light and uncomfortable. If I didn't sit next to my wife on the "couch" side, I'd be leaving. Seriously, they were that bad. Next is the service. I've had excellent service at the Park Meadows location. This one? So-so. The bar-staff normally do a great job, even when it is busy. However, the service here was average at best. What was good? We still love the flatbreads that come out with the bread basket (even if we had to ask for the bread basket, and then have it come out late after our appetizers arrived). The Lobster Bisque is to die for. This is the sort of thing I go "Hmmm - I want lobster bisque - time to drive 20 miles to Brio". The sliced steak bruscetta - had better. Overcooked steak, and no gorgonzola. The toast was a little overdone. The balsamic reduction was nice and thick and drizzled over the arugula and parmesan slices. Main course? Shrimp and crab cakes. At other locations, these actually taste of crab. At this location, it tasted of shrimp. At least they had a nice crisp exterior and soft interior, and was not overcooked. The rating says it all - Meh. I've tasted and experienced better.

The steak is cooked right. The lobster and shrimp pasta is excellent.

When the Cherry Creek location first opened up, I went to Brio about 2 times a week for the Pasta alla Vodka. I craved this pasta! Miniature little ricotta pasta balls covered with the most delicious sauce. Yum. The apple bread pudding is pretty tasty as well. It's small and priced right. Never had any of the other desserts but they all look pretty good. The only reason I don't give Brio 5 stars is... We were celebrating a birthday with a large party (about 15 people). Our waiter was not very good, the food came very slow (in total we were there for 3 hours) and it was cold when it came out. It was an entirely different experience than I'd had in the past. Needless to say, I probably won't go here again with a large group.

This place seems like it's a bit over the top. The decor of the place is a little much, in my opinion, and the food is pretty good. I came in here with a Coworker after being out in the field all day. We got in here around 4:30ish, which was just in time for the happy hour/mini bites menu up at the bar. She had the brushetta and I had the dish with the eggplant and shrimp.. Both of which had a lot of flavor. I really enjoyed the food. Like I said, it was around 4:30 when we came in and the place wasn't busy at all, it was just starting to pick up for the evening. I was a little annoyed with our server/the bartender. She obviously didn't have too much going on, so, literally every 3 minutes she asked if we "were alright" or if "we needed anything". NO! Other than that, I have to say the experience was quite enjoyable!

Reminiscent of the cheesecake factory. LARGE plates, LARGE menus. The food was pretty good but not very unique. Typical for a chain I suppose. The bruscetta was the best thing I tried during my dining experience there.

I really had a great dinner here and I know I don't like to go to chains but this was great. The ambiance is this place is very dramatic and you feel like you have been transported into a place where you will have a wonderful experience. We ordered salads which came with flat bread and freshly baked bread. The waiter spent time with us explaining the menu and I had some wonderful beef medallions with a side of wonderful linguine. They are great about delivering substitutions. We had a leisurely meal and enjoyed a tasty glass of wine. Don't miss out on the great deserts to finish off your meal. This is definitely a special place to go.

Wow, love this place! You gotta try the salmon salad. I CRAVE this salad now and wish I was a good enough cook to figure out how to make it at home. Absolutely delicious. I also recommend trying their bruschetta sampler platter. They bring out the chef's daily choices of different types of bruchetta. It's always something different and the different tastes are such a great way to warm my taste buds up for a delicious meal. The service here is also great. I've come in for a quick lunch, long lunches with girlfriends, and long business dinners. I've had a good experience with the service each time I have visited Brio and can't wait to go back!

I tried the Pasta Carbonara today. It was delicious. My husband raved about his wedge salad with bacon and blue cheese, and he also really liked his grilled pork chop with mashed potatoes and asparagus.

I and a friend went to check out this place the very first week it opened. Excellent service and very friendly staff! Wine was yum yum (prosecco my favs), salad was excellent - very fresh and crispy. I ordered crab and shrimp cakes for the main course and was very happy with it. Very tender! The veggies on the side with it were cooked perfectly. Aaaah! and the best part - dessert! Perfect size for the dessert ... Caramel Creme Brulee and Key Lime Pie were excellent. I will go back to this place soon!

Went here on their grand opening at Cherry Creek Mall. I had never heard of Brio before but as I went into the old Maccaroni Grille, I was happy to see that it was so bright and inviting. We were greeted by hostesses, servers and the manager. My boss had given a coworker and I a free dinner at Brio so we told our boyfriends and made reservations for the evening. We enjoyed wine, a selection of bruschetta, lobster and tomato bisque, an entree and a selection of desserts in small tea cups. This dinner could not have been more delicious. The bisque soups were highly recommended by our waiter and he was so right on. I had the Shrimp Scampi. Great the next day too! The desserts were so tasty and the waiter even brought more out! Try them all with a group of people. Strawberry shortcake, Tiramisu, brownie, creme brulet... We probably would not have ordered that much food if we had been paying but it was so exciting to try almost everything they had to offer. Brio fits very well in the Cherry Creek Mall. I look forward to sitting on the patio one day. Such a gorgeous area!

I ate here last night with some friends visiting from out of town. Very good italian food but a little on the pricey side. I had the rigatoni pasta with the red pepper sauce. very very good and the presentation of the food was nice. As expensive as the entree's were, a glass of wine was actually not too expensive. We all decided to get the individual desserts which was the perfect size. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also amazing. It had very good ambiance. We spent a couple hours there enjoying our food and good conversation. Our server was a little awkward and kept coming over at the beginning even though we had barely had time to look at the menu. I would definitely recommend this place if you want good pasta and a fun relaxing evening out.

I want to follow-up and thank the manager of Brio for contacting me to ask me to give them another shot. And to sweeten the deal he sent me a gift certificate to use in the restaurant. Thanks Mike, that was thoughtful customer service :-)

Nice atmosphere & food. Only gave 4 stars because it's somewhat generic being a chain.

The drinks are ok once you tell them to stop adding all the filler ice... Looks like they try to get away with skimping out on alcohol content. I ordered the lamb, it was not very good and was covered with a poor gravy that really took away from what lamb is supposed to taste like. We also ordered the calamari which was very skimpy in terms of the actual size of the calamari... It just seemed like I was eating fried flour. The staff is friendly and attentive however, the food was no better than what I could make in my own kitchen w little more than a recipe...

I dined here a few months ago and I'm just now writing this review. Honestly I wasn't all that impressed. It seemed like it was a much more expensive Olive Garden. If you like that sort of thing cool, but if you dislike Olive garden or box restaurants then you will not like this place. Food wasn't bad, but wasn't memorable either. Save your money and go to another italian place. Decor was nice though.

First time at the Cherry Creek location with two friends for dinner. We arrived late in the evening, a little before 9PM on a Wednesday, so there wasn't a big crowd and we were seated immediately. The decor was very nice with good lighting and the ambiance was relaxed, at least at that time of day. We chose one of the semi-circular booths, which had a smallish table but was otherwise comfortable. I made a quick hand-washing trip to the men's restroom which was nicely appointed, except that the basket of hand towels had not been refilled in a while and there were only a couple left, which I swiped before the guy next to me had a chance. A minor inconvenience, but still something the staff might want to pay more attention to. The waiter who took our orders arrived promptly and was professional if somewhat robotic in his affect. He seemed knowledgable about the menu and answered our questions accurately. None of us ordered any appetizers so we just went with the standard bread basket that was provided. The bread arrived warm, in two scored half-loaves that you tear apart by hand, and was accompanied by a little plate with butter. It was nice as an appetizer, although I would have preferred olive oil for dipping. The included crispy flatbread wedges were quite good and were the first to go. The wait time for our food was fairly short, again probably because of the off-peak hour. I had the Caesar Salad and the Campanelle Carbonara pasta. Both dishes came in good-sized portions, not too big and not too small, tasted great, and were very nicely presented. The waitress who brought out our food offered to grate some fresh parmesan, which I opted for. I think the staff need to come up with a better way of doing this because as the waitress grated the cheese over the dishes she got a bunch of it on the table and our laps as well. I wasn't bothered by this, but others might think otherwise. When we asked to see the dessert menu our waitress brought out a sampler tray with almost all the available desserts, which was a nice touch. I got the Dolchino Tiramisu, which was mostly cream but nevertheless quite good. Overall a very nice place with great atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, and excellent food. The prices for entrees are a little towards the higher end but the quality and portions are good in my opinion, and I wasn't disappointed with anything. I would definitely go here again, and would give 5 stars if they can fix the small details mentioned above.

Ugh, I know it's a chain so what did I expect? How is it possible to mess up steak salad SO BADLY? I rarely send food back, but when I took a bite of my absolutely charred steak I started to think about it. Then I looked through my salad to see if all the steak was so charred and found that the next piece was absolutely raw in the middle. I've actually never received a piece of meat so undercooked in my life. How is it even possible to have steak so charred you can't get the taste out of your mouth AND steak so raw that it's blue in one salad? So I sent it back. And waited. And waited. They fairly unapologetically brought me out a second salad. In my mind, if you totally mess up a meal to the point that it gets sent back then you'd better make it perfect the second time around (and quickly!). Apparently Brio doesn't have that same philosophy. Got a new salad (dressing not on the side this time, but at this point who cares) and the steak was once again charred, super well done and chewy. Yuck. If a place can't get a steak even in the ballpark of medium, then you can bet I won't be going back for anything else. That salad goes in the books as one of the worst things I've ever eaten.

The food here wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't bad either. It was just...good. The menu had a lot to choose from, but there were only a few things that I actually liked. The waitstaff was nice, though, and the food came out fine. All in all, it was pretty unremarkable, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying them again to see if they can change my mind.

The word "Generic" is often misused and misunderstood. Sometimes generic can be really good if you're looking for a cheaper and better bag of potato chips at Whole Foods...or generic can be really bad as in the case with Brio Tuscan Grille. Just went here the other night and was severely disappointed. We ordered a couple of flatbread "pizzas" and split a salad. The first noticeable bad sign with the pizza was that it was luke warm at best and just downright cold at worst...depending on what side you were eating from. It obviously was under a heat lamp or two while the waiter was able to deliver it to our table. The pizza itself was somewhat reminiscent of a very flatbread version of Stouffer's Frozen Pizza. The sauce itself was overloaded with sugar to counterbalance the acid and above that was just completely under seasoned. The toppings were minced within an inch of their life which is pretty inexcusable for any restaurant...chain or not. Beyond all of this..this is supposed to be a Italian Restaurant. The best Italian cooking should be fresh, easy and simple. This place...not so much. The atmosphere itself was bad Vegas. Think about 3 AM at the Hard Rock...and this is pretty much it...and I don't mean that in a good way. Except this place is less hip then that and just trying to hard with way too many servers that clearly are mismanaged and overworked. We really don't need four different service people during our meal. One, it's a little disconcerting and two it's not necessary in a place like this. All the people working there does not mean that it's more efficient...just more desperate to impress. It seems like the owners ate at Elways and decided they wanted to match their service...but couldn't quite figure out how to do it correctly. It's too bad...because this could be a great restaurant with a good location...but nothing is worse then average food and a very generic menu at a restaurant. If you're looking for good Italian food I would consider someplace that doesn't have to try so hard to be mediocre. Or just someplace that tries to be great...I would settle for that and be very happy.

If you want real Italian, do not come here. There was nothing wrong with Macaroni Grill. Rubbery calamari, brown wedge salad. The steak was the saving grace. I think I may wake up with sausage fingers because of the salt:) don't waste your money.

This is one of my families favorite places to eat. We have so many menu items and nothing has not came out just delicious. My staple is the Chicken Limon. It comes with roasted potatoes and veggies. The sauce is perfect. Also their deserts are wonderful. I always get the Tiramisu, but I have also tried the berry cobbler and a smores creme brule. They have really great sourdough and these interesting crackers with every meal. Their cocktails are also interesting and very good, however I find them to be pricey.

Tried this place for the first time Monday and I must say, "Bravo Brio....Bravo!" Not only was the atmosphere great, the food and service was as well. We were able to get the couch by the fireplace which was a great time (we showed up around 8....apparently that is primo real estate during happy hour). Steve-O our waiter promptly introduced himself and recommended a few beers they had on tap and also a couple of entree's that may be a tasty match to our drink choices. I ended up getting a man's salad if I do say so myself (the Steak Salad). Their in-house made salad dressing was sooo damn good and the steak on top was great as well. Now being the pizza connoisseur that I am, my only small complaint was their Flatbread (a.k.a pizza). That was the one thing I tried that I wouldn't 100% recommend. However overall the experience was great. We actually ended up staying until closing time (10p.m.) and BS with the manager and staff as we exited. I will certainly be back. I fudgin' loved you guys!

Loved the Brio! After being turned away at another restaurant because we were a party of 12, the Brio took us in! Thanks to the lady on the street that recommended it! We loved the food, the service was right on, our glasses never emptied and the food was great! This is a great place for your kids budget! They have great kids meal offerings for both little ones and younger adults. The portions were huge, my husband and I shared a meal! Excellent food, excellent service and definitely returning! The past Brio, lasagna and shrimp/lobster fettuccine were amongst our favorites at the table. The young adults meals were as big as ours and less than half the price! Try it out, you'll like it!

Brio is about as Italian as a drag queen is a woman. It dresses very nicely for the part and even has its charm, but it's not the real thing. Don't get me wrong. I'm neither knocking Brio nor drag queens. The Italian-themed food was good, the service was very accommodating, and they played Laura Pausini and other Italian pop favorites, which is always a fun change from Sinatra and Martin, whom I admire despite their cliché status on the soundtracks of American-Italian restaurants. (Come to think of it I think I heard some Dean Martin in a restaurant in Italy once, but it was across the street from an American Air Force Base, so I'm not sure if that means anything.) On this first visit to Brio, I joined a group of ladies for a private mixer where we had a great time. The staff was adaptable to the flow of people moving in and out and the inevitable requests for separate checks. In fact they gave each of us our own check folios at the start and kept adding as we ordered. I'm sure that wasn't easy for them, but it was greatly appreciated by us. The servers gave good suggestions from the menu and even made positive contributions to the rules of a game we made up on the spot. I did not delve deeply into Brio's menu, but made a good run at the primi by ordering different things and passing them around. Ordering all of these appetizers was expensive, by the way, but that's just how Denver dining goes. I have no idea why Denverites accept paying more than what is reasonable for food that is most often poor, occasionally acceptable and rarely excellent. (Hunting for excellent food in Denver is as laborious and dangerous as hunting for one of Lewis Carroll's snarks.) People here should complain about the prices more, but apparently they're all rich or something. Anyway, back to the food at Brio. I started with the quattro bruschetta (sampler). The bread was a bit tough to get a handle on, but the toppings were very good. From there I tried the artichoke dip. Since we devoured that, I'd have to say it was good, though unremarkable. Finally, I tried the ravioli appetizer. The marinara was a typically tangy and sweet American sauce, and the ravioli could have cooked a little longer, but it too was acceptable. The dessert options looked outstanding, and they offer small dessert sizes, but I was too full from appetizers to indulge. I would gladly visit Brio again prepared for a full on American-Italian experience and some very good Italian pop music.

We decided to try the new Brio that replaced Macaroni Grill in Cherry Creek. We sat at the bar. I can say I agree with the other reviews on how open and bright it is. I think a little privacy goes a long way in a restaurant. But this review is not about the ambiance. The food was great! I had the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine, which was very tasty. My wife had the grilled Salmon, it was your typical Salmon dish, but came with these fried tomato things that made it great. The crackers that come in the bread basket are supper yummy.(If you like garlic and basil) Its definitely not a quiet private candle light place. Thought the price was good. There were a lot of older people in there for some reason. One day we will be old, so I think its great they are getting out and eating! Overall I would go back, if you want a fancy date, not the place. If you want a good meal, less the ambiance, great!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
