Awesome place! I was visiting from Dallas and we just walked by and decided to give it a whirl. I recommend the flights. The staff/owners clearly knows what's up and has good knowledge on the selection. Cheese plate was a nice addition, plus $0.25 of each drink you purchase goes towards a charity of your choice! Atmosphere is awesome, reasonably priced drinks and Wes took great care of us.

This is one of my new favorite spots on Tennyson. Great selection of beer, whiskey, and tequila. The beer is rotated regularly which gives customers an opportunity to try various beers, including beers from local breweries. Another option offered is kombucha, which can be served alone or as a mixed drink. With the purchase of a beverage you receive a token which can be placed in a box and put towards one of three charities. You get to choose which one you would like to donate to; an animal, human or environmental cause. This is a great place to get together with family, friends, and loved ones. You can choose to sit indoor and or on the patio. They have various games to play, including my all time favorite Cards Against Humanity. Last of all, the staff is great. Jay, Tommy, and Wes are friendly and very attentive. Whenever I come in I am always greeted with a smile. Overall this is a great neighborhood bar to visit!

Really neat spot! Love the decor and the drinks. White wine blend (on tap!) that I had was perfect for a warm summer evening. Place itself is a bit small -- probably not great for large groups. Also, heads up, bar is SMALL. While we were there there was only one bartender, he was trying his best to keep up but it took a minute to get a drink from him or close out. Think this place is best for smaller groups or couples. Love that they do charity work also! I think the deal is each drink you get a chip and get to pick one out of three charities the chip (with some monetary value) goes towards. Was actually there for a charity event so they seem to be big on this, really neat concept, happy to support the animal charities in any way I can. Neat little spot, will be back!

What a great concept! Games + excellent drinks + charitable inclination = this five star review! There's an extensive beer list to choose from. Beers seem to rotate with some frequency. Additionally, some very interesting cocktail choices as well. We came here for a pre-dinner cocktail. I ended up selecting the Gin Untapped Lovender. It was delish! The sage and the lavender syrup were quite divine in this cocktail. This is a great place to bring a small group, as it is not huge in size. There is a very small outdoor area that overlooks the sidewalk if the weather is nice. Grab one of the board or card games that they have available while you enjoy your cocktail or beer. On our visit, we got into a spirited game of Cards Against Humanity. Service is proactive and friendly. At the end of your visit, you will get a wooden coin where you choose who receives your donation. It appears to be a rotating list based on charities falling into certain categories like environmental or humanitarian. Should my travels bring me back to this area in Denver, I'd happily return.

Have had two great experiences here thus far and I will be returning... Scotch and whiskey drinkers there's lots of options for you. Great craft beer selections on tap. Some nice wines by the bottle and glass as well. We were looking for a celebratory rose and even found one on the menu! Love, love, love that $0.25 of every drink goes to a charity. They give you wooden coins for each drink purchase and on their wall you can pick from an environmental charity, an animal charity or a humanitarian charity. Super cool place and super cool owners and staff who run it.

Berkeley Untapped is rad! I think this is my favorite bar on Tennyson Street. They have an ever rotating selection of craft beer on draft from lots of smaller local breweries like Strange and Black Shirt. There is also a selection of bombers available. Whiskey is their other big focus. I'm not a whiskey drinker but if you are I'm sure you'll enjoy their selection! They've also got gin and vodka available if that's what blows your skirt up. But what really makes Berkeley Untapped awesome (besides their wonderful array of local alcohol), is that they donate 25 cents of each drink purchased to charity. They have a wall up in the bar with information about 3 different charities: one animal related, one environmental, one humanitarian. The charities change every couple months. When you've receive your drink, they also hand you a little wooden token (representing $.25) that you can then drop in the basket for the charity of your choosing. They don't stay open as late as some of the other bars (they close at midnight on the weekends) on Tennyson, but this is the perfect place to come with a couple friends to enjoy a couple drinks and get your night started.

They only have tables that are bar height, so if you are in a wheelchair, there is no place to sit.

This might be one of my favorite discoveries in a long time. We were hanging out in Tennyson and several people recommended Local 46 so on our way we saw this place. From the outside, it looks like a little wine bar but it's actually a beer bar. If you are looking for a very mellow night to hang out with a friend then this is absolutely it. The owner was pretty cool and made us feel at home. I felt like his recommendation on beers was weak. He needs to be a bit more assertive and not so wishy washy. I wasn't a huge fan of the beer selection so I hope they either extend it or change it up a bit. I've only been once but I'm excited to check it out again.

Looking for a place to meet up for a couple of drinks and chats with some friends, I thought this place looked awesome and we gave it a shot. I really really wanted to love it - I mean, I loved the concept: craft beer, scotch/whisky, charity... winner. Except, it wasn't. Don't get me wrong, nothing was really wrong with it... it's just that nothing was really right either. Drinks - Honestly, I was disappointed by the beer list. There were about eight on tap, nothing terribly exciting or different. There was no bottle list, just a cooler with a few sad looking beers hanging out inside. They were fine, just not as many options as I had hoped. Service/Atmosphere - The vibe was pretty cool in this place. Small, not too loud to talk, but not awkwardly quiet either. A comfy place to hang and play some games and have some drinks. Service was fine. Ish. I mean, the guy got us our drinks and was pleasant enough... but honestly, didn't know anything about the beers. In conclusion - Great concept, and I really hope it was just an off night for me because I want them to do great. It's a perfectly okay place to have a drink, but I wouldn't go out of my way...

Cheers. Open. More to come after I finish my drink. Which was excellent whiskey from Breckenridge. A very convivial place. Lots of people from the neighborhood drinking on a Sunday afternoon. Jay and Rachael are very gracious hosts.

Berkeley Untapped is a great spot to hang out with friends and catch up. They have a good selection of beers on tap as well as several whiskeys, so you can choose whatever suits your mood (pretty sure they have wine too). I went during the day, so it was a bit slower, but the guys working there were knowledgeable and friendly. One of the bartenders took the time to suggest different breweries and spots to check out since my friends and I are new to the area. They don't really have food at the moment, but we were told that we could bring in food from elsewhere, so I'm sure we'll end up doing that. And to top it off, every time you order a beer, they give you a token that you can use to donate a portion of the sale (I think it's 25 cents) to one of three charities. They have info about the charities and a running total of how much each has earned on a board in the corner of the space. If nothing else, it will make you feel good about ordering your beer at one in the afternoon!

i went in here with a friend and had myself a pretty good time. It was chill and not too packed with an small area where you can sit outside if you wish. The best part of this place is the revolving beer list. The beer that, and actually whiskey is most local places in Denver, one of my favorite small time breweries is Strange. Recommend that you stop by and take a look what is on tap because in the next week or two there will be something new and local.

I wish there was more places like this! The personability and care of the owners and staff to their guests is very evident. The excellent sellection of their drinks was a pleasent suprise. And the fact that its a suprise on what is on tap each week is fun as well. Over all...good people, music, scene, libations and a fun people watching patio!

We love these cats new bar on Tennyson. Excellent and ever changing craft beer selection, and some really great craft cocktails. Wes the bartender does a fabulous job of creating his concoctions, including the highlights - The Berkeley Burrow and The Sharparita. Excellent work guys, and welcome to the hood.

Nice new place to meet with friends. Had wine instead of beer, but the list was a good local assortment, but not very extensive- instead of many they change selection often. Only downside, no food. they do offer a cheese & meat plate that was good, but no other food or munchies are available.
