An extension to a burger bar of the same name, 5280 scoops out a whitewashed, under-sweet experience that just works. You'll find 6-8 standards and another half dozen specialty flavors sitting in the chill. Sizes range from mini (for the kids) to a triple scoop and shakes, and anything that's booze-free is less than seven bucks. You can split flavors with a single, so Caramelized Banana met Cinnamon Toast Crunch and they partied in the lobby of Hotel My Mouth. The whole shebang was more than enough ice cream, and rang in just over four bucks. The product has a bit more elasticity and won't uproot your sweet tooth -- I actually found both to be a bit savory (a pleasantly bitter, starchy banana and more cinnamon than sugar), making this Ice Cream for Adults. And while it's natural for the chunks of cereal to soften, perhaps the staff could sprinkle fresh stuff on the scoop when it's served? The Crunch was MIA. Slow melting, subtle in scrumptiousness, and they serve liquored-up shaketinis. Yes, shaketinis. Check 'em out.

The cinnamon toast crunch flavor is awesome. It's solid ice cream, but didn't blow me out of the water in terms of quality or uniqueness. The two girls working at the shop when I went in didn't have the best service - they never smiled and asking to sample flavors seemed like a nuisance that I got a lot of attitude for.

Got the mint chocolate chip and it was very disappointing. Kinda melted already, not minty at all and tiny chocolate shavings that you could only feel, not taste. It might as well not have had chocolate in it. Tried my friend's coffee and it was way better but also nothing special. It probably does well because there aren't any other ice cream shops nearby.

My most favorite ice cream in Denver and I have tried most of them! Super thick and creamy and full of flavor. The marshmallow tastes like marshmallow! Banana tastes like banana! Schnozberry tastes like schnozberry! Ok well they don't have that flavor (thank goodness, hah) but their flavors are truly on a different level than all the other places around here that I've been to. Plus I love marshmallow and banana so they get my vote for consistently having those. The coconut is also amazing and tastes like coconut icing! They really maximize the flavor and mouth feel of the ice creams and minimize the air whipped in. You won't be disappointed if you like thick and creamy ice cream with round, full bodied flavors.

Yummy ice cream. Great service. I tried a lot of flavors and thought they were all pretty delicious. I will be back. I tried the toasted coconut and the salted caramel. Both were delicious.

This is an ice cream parlor next to 5280 burger. $1.95 for mini, $2.95 for single, $3.95 for double scoop, and $4.95 for triple. They have a constant main stay of flavors (10!) and also 6 rotating. All ice creams are churned in house. I recommend the Caramelized banana! If you're feeling more liquidy then get a milkshake for $6. If you're feeling even more adventurous, an adult milkshake served in a martini glass might be in your future ($10)!

Yummy ice cream. Right in the heart of 16th street mall. I had the Belgian chocolate on a sugar cone n it was delicious. If ever back downtown I'll definitely come back to visit!!

Great flavors. I could tell the ice cream was made fresh. My only negative was that it was a little melty when served. I would have liked it to be a little more frozen so it wasn't immediately dripping down the cone. It tasted so good though, it just made me eat faster.

I will admit that I'm fairly devoted to Little Man and don't typically mind waiting in the ridiculous lines, but this ice cream was phenomenal. I had an incredibly difficult time deciding between several flavors, especially after tasting a few flavors. The ice cream is SO creamy, and you can really taste the quality. I ended up with cinnamon toast crunch (they do not skimp on the cereal bits!) and could have easily eaten several more scoops. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

Terrible service. This place looked cute so we went in. I asked the cashier to tell me what was in the Campfire Marshmallow and her response was "marshmallows and milk." She said 'he' (no idea who she was referring to) makes all of the ice cream and doesn't tell them what is in it, and all the flavors have 'secret recipes.' Seriously??!! I don't want the recipe, I just want to know what is in it to see if I may like it!! So weird. I ordered the Oreo, which appears to be a chocolate ice cream base with Oreo cookies - pretty straightforward. The ice cream itself was bland and forgettable. Threw away my cone after a few bites - the Oreos were the best part.

Delicious ice cream! I got the sea salt caramel and campfire marshmallow! Soooo yummy. The only downside to this ice cream shop is that it lacks a variety of flavors. Overall, good experience. I would come again if I were in the downtown area, but would not take the drive just to get some ice cream.

I can't believe this place isn't more busy! I had a little trouble finding it because I'm not from the area, but this little ice cream shop is next to 5280 Burger Bar (which makes sense..doh!). I tried the Campfire Marshmallow and the Oreo ice creams. It was amaaaaaaazing. Super creamy and delicious. I regret not finding this place sooner during my trip- I would've gone every day! This place has other rotating flavors, sundaes and milkshake combos. Seriously some of the best ice cream I've had. The price was pretty reasonable, too!

Holy crap, this place will make your taste buds jump for joy! I haven't had ice cream this good in a while! All of it is homemade, the texture so creamy and delicious that you wont even notice the added freeze on a cold day. I strongly recommend the salted caramel AND banana, that stuff is a dream! They're also open late, so if you want a quality dessert (and maybe avoid that late night truffle shuffle at Denny's) after hanging with friends, or just because, this is the spot to be!

Short & sweet: Queso Chili Fries, Wedge Salad, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ice Cream. A weekly treat. Sometimes, we even mix Cinnamon Toast Crunch with Cookie Dough and call it "Cookie Crunch". (5280: you may borrow/steal the concept, but I get free fries no more than once a week!)

After dinner at the 5280 Burger Bar, we made our way to get ice cream next door. I had the caramelized banana which was good. My daughter had the campfire marshmallow which she gave high marks. We ended up coming back the next day. Ice cream is my favorite food after all! She had a repeat of her order. I decided to try the brown butter pecan. Good lawd, was that ever so tasty.

I find that this place only having 2 reviews is undermining it's amazing ice cream. This place is incredibly delicious. Previous reviewer mentioned that there were so many wonderful tasting flavors that it was very hard to narrow it down. Same case for us as well! Try everything! The ice cream is churned!!! The best kind ;) My boyfriend and I shared 3 scoops: butter pecan, Oreo, and coffee together. It was heaven in my mouth. The flavors individually eaten was incredible and distinct. When I ate all three flavors at once... A blend of beauty. Texture was creamy and light, and freakin churned! highly recommend. Coming from California... The land of trendy and overpriced things, I am glad to stumble upon such a shop with very noble ice cream and decent prices.

Really good ice cream, all made in store. I will be going back for the shaketini they have, sounds too good to pass up. The store is connected to the restaurant but is a separate store all together, so you can get some I've cream to go and not have to enter the restaurant. It wasn't busy when I went but of course it was late on a Sunday. It was clean and the girl was fairly nice. There are lots of options and they have specialty flavors so you will always have plenty of choices.

My husband and I stopped here after eating next door and it ended up being a great decision. We had a hard time deciding (even though you can try flavors) so we ended up getting 5 flavors between the two of us. My favorite was easily the caramelized banana. This was obviously made with real bananas and tasted exactly like a caramelized banana in ice cream form. The toasted coconut also clearly had real toasted coconut in it. The cost for 5 scoops was less than $10 and this is high quality, made from scratch ice cream.

AMAZING ICE CREAM! There were so many awesome ones I tasted that I couldn't decide which one to order! The campfire marshmallow (tasted just like when you roast a marshmallow over the fire during summer camp!!!) and caramelized banana were my favorite. My mom loved her toasted coconut and sea salted caramel and my brother loved the cinnamon toast crunch!! They have really good sized cones and portions are pretty big for the prices (especially compared to California ice cream prices!)!! I would definitely be back if I visit the area again! Parking: apparently there is $5 valet parking at the Denver Pavilions where this is located with any purchase. Being a tourist we didn't know that so ended up having to pay $20 at a nearby outside parking lot which was a pretty big rip-off. But the ice cream was awesome at least!! Wish they had one of these closer to my house!!

Many of the small ice cream shops in Denver have a homey feel like you're invited to stick around and have a good time. 5280 Ice Cream (along with 5280 Burger Bar) are synonymous with this feeling. This place is wonderful. The staff and the ice cream make for one heck of an experience. Psst parents! They also have adult ice cream concoctions too! Even when it starts snowing outside, you better believe I'll make a pit stop the next time I'm walking around 16th St Mall!

The Campfire Marshmallow was amazing! It's a must. My husband had Oreo and was equally pleased! I really hate that I didn't get to swing by there again before we left.

No complaints. The Mexican Vanilla tasted like regular Vanilla to me, but was delicious. The Campfire Marshmallow was my favorite between the 2 flavors I tried. Nice they are open late, perfect for after date night dinner.

Small ice cream store with just a few choices. I was disappointed. There were higher priced ice cream sundaes on the menu behind the counter, but I just really wanted a cone. Nothing to write home about. Normal ice cream. Tiny shop.

Enjoyed their different flavored ice cream. She allowed us to try any flavor we wanted. The lady there mentioned that they actually roast the marshmallows in the back (campfire marshmallow) and infuse it into the ice cream. 5 stars goes to creativity and customer service!

Pretty typical ice cream shop, nothing special. Very strawberry sundane is overpriced with almost no strawberries.

OMG! This place is absolutely EPIC! I love everything about it! Well, except for the lack of seating but, other than that, there's nothing to complain about this place.

We were visiting Denver and checked this place out on our first day. The ice cream was so good we didn't want to try any other ice cream place and just kept coming back to here. The Oreo is probably the best Oreo ice cream ever. I also recommend the mint chocolate chip. The waffle cones are made fresh at the location, you can even see the waffle iron they make it from in the corner with all the batter around it. The first night we arrived 10 minutes before closing. The staff looked to be shutting the store down but let us in and were very nice about it, which we really appreciated. I know from working in food service that once you get in shut-down mode it's hard to break out of it. We were really craving ice cream that night and this place delivered in spades.

My dad had a late night ice cream craving and it was the only ice cream shop open at 10:30 PM. What a great find. We had the Sea Salted Caramel and it was so tasty and creamy; the Carrot Cake flavor which had pieces of carrot cake in it....that cone didn't last long; and the Brown Buttered Pecan that was so much better than Butter Pecan from Baskin Robins. My Dad, who is a chocolate malt snob, thought his malt was one of the best he ever tasted. Great ice cream and reasonably priced. They offer shake-tinis that sounded yummy but we didn't try. Perhaps next time because we will definitely visit this shop again.

The ice cream taste is good, but I am disappointed because the guy charged $5 tip without asking and it was not advertised anywhere, for less than a 12$ total bill. So a 42% tip. Expensive.
