I like this place. I've been for lunch a few times - granted, it's super close to my work, but I've never really been disappointed. Their sandwiches are pretty simple, but somehow they manage to be really solid. Sometimes you don't want an over-the-top buttered-and-smeared-with-aioli sandwich, so I appreciate the simplicity. I also really like their soups - especially the split pea and chili. They even sprinkle cheese into the cup in between ladles of chili so the cheese gets all melty (nice touch in my book). I've only ever had sandwiches or soup (no salad, anything from the grill, or pho), but I'll continue to order those (I don't like heavy lunches). I also like that they have fresh fruit, snacks, candy, munchies, sodas/drinks, lottery tickets, a small selection of toiletries for emergencies, and they also have Starbucks coffee/lattes. So, all in all, a well-stocked and well-positioned little store that is super convenient.

They make better Starbucks coffee than the Starbucks that's a block away from it. So that's pretty awesome. I haven't tried any of their food yet, but the coffee and customer service is amazing. The two women who I believe are the owners are super friendly and always get my drink perfect. :-)

This place is so strange. It's called a cafe, but it's really more of a convenience store that happens to have a sandwich making station and salad bar. I ordered a southwest style salad, and the girl behind the counter pointed at a shelf full of containers. She told me to pick my size - kind of a cool concept, until I realized that the large option was a square styrofoam container (all other options were plastic). So much for being green... The salad took a little long to make, partly because they were out of lettuce at the salad bar when I placed my order. Someone brought some out from the back, and proceeded to dump it out from the store-bought bag (kinda weird). The flavor combo was pretty tasty, but the pieces of lettuce were enormous. A few quick chops would have made a world of difference. I see no reason to return to this place.

This place has no quality control. They offer too much and do nothing well. I've wasted way too much money on throwing food away. Their Chinese chicken is soggy. Their pho is too salty and the meat grissly. Their chicken for salads is veiny. They microwave their eggs. I'm not sure how this place is still in business. They clearly don't care about the product

I kind of love this place. It is a perfect lunch location for me when I'm working from home. Granted the dining area is virtually non-existent but the food is filling but not heavy (perfect lunch food, so I'm not hungry but also avoiding food induced comatose post lunch). The staff is super friendly and fast. The prices are really good too. I do a lot of work in New York (which one could gather by reading my reviews) and this place reminds me a lot of the markets in NYC that are great for lunch (minus the pizza). I'd recommend for lunch if you're in the area! PS I'm not sure why this Carolyn person gave them such a low rating, it doesn't seem like she really disliked anything about the place. Heaven forbid you eat lettuce from a *gasp "store." I'm wondering what is a more preferable place for the lettuce to come from in downtown Denver, a distributor? An urban garden out back? Just seems a bit ridiculous if you ask me.
