Great!!!!! I walked in 5 mins before they closed and the lady was still polite and professional. This was my first eating here and it was good! The BBQ sauce was a sweet and I found myself almost drinking the stuff, very good! Thank you for a good experience! I will be back!

It's a takeout BBQ place, what more do people want?? The brisket is the best I've ever had, and while their BBQ sauce kinda weirds you at first since it's a little unconventional, even my non-BBQ loving wife liked it after she knew what to expect with it. The service is nothing different than I would expect from takeout BBQ. I've never experienced the "atrocities" that some people have claimed in their reviews, but the over the top bubbly greetings at the chain restaurants makes me want to puke. I'd rather people be real than fake. And their BBQ is real. Hand down. Beautiful 1/4" smoke ring all the way around the brisket. Very tender, great flavor. They have mastered brisket, which very few BBQ places have been able to do. I've had their ribs too, and they were certainly good, but not a highlight like their brisket. I kind of have to chuckle at the people complaining about the bread. This is a BBQ place, not a 5 star restaurant. Go to a good BBQ spot in KC, Memphis, TX, etc, you get a slice of bread. Nothing fancy. Exactly what you get here at Winston Hill's. If you want good BBQ, you won't be disappointed at Winston Hill's. Just to add too, if I could buy their BBQ sauce by the gallon, I would totally do it.

I had really looked forward to trying this place and and was very disappointed. Everything was heated in the microwave. My chopped brisket was very dry. The sliced pork seemed to be pressed pork. The beans and coleslaw were nothing to be excited about.

This was excellent bbq. We live not too far from here and tried it for the first time. The meats were soooo juicy and delicious! We got brisket (wow) and the pork. The beans were great too. The corn on the cob was not so good...just a microwaved piece so quite mushy. Wont get that again. We will go back for sure!

I've passed by a few times, contemplating if it would be worth it or not. Finally, today after work I decided to give it a try. Thank goodness I did. Lady behind the counter wasnt the friendliest, but I just wanted to order and go. I got the Beef Brisket meal and dammm was I surprised. It was actually really good! Portions were more than enough. The slice of bread took me bac to the BBQ joints back in TX. Now I wanna go back and try other things on the menu!

I'm giving this place 1 star, and that's only because it smelled pretty good, and I had tasted the food several years ago and remembered it being decent. However, on my last visit here, the lady behind the counter was quite possibly the rudest human being I have ever encountered. Myself and two friends walked in, and the lady behind the counter didn't acknowledge that we were standing 4 feet away, but instead stared out the window behind us with a scowl on her face. We looked over the menu, and when the lady still didn't acknowledge that we were there, I politely said "Can we place an order?" She mumbled something that we later deciphered to mean "The main guy is out catering right now and won't be back for a while." My initial thought was "Ok, but you're standing right here looking rather bored, can we tell YOU what we would like to order, and then pay you for it, and then you can provide the food that we just ordered in a somewhat timely fashion?" You know, like most take-out restaurants are operated? Then I saw the scowl on her face again, and knew I would get nowhere trying to reason with this person who CLEARLY did not give a flying shit about anything. We went outside to wait on the sidewalk, among 5 or 6 other people who probably had the same misfortune of trying to figure out what the hell was going on. The topic of conversation among the other folks waiting outside was all centered around the confusion about why we needed to wait for this one magical provider of BBQ to return to the restaurant before we could even place an order. Turns out it was a GOOD thing that we didn't order or pay for food, because we decided to leave, along with the rest of the people waiting outside. I will never return here again, and it's the kind of experience in human interaction that will stick with me. When they go out of business, which will be sooner than later if this lady remains, I'm not gonna lie.. it will make me smile.

We wanted to like this place but the food wasn't all that appetizing. The bread that came with our meal was two pieces of white Wonderbread. They could at least buy so store bought roles and resell them. We won't be back but it's too bad as they're smoker always smells great.

A little hole in the wall. Great smoker on site. The sauce is my favorite. Spicy enough for a little sweat!! Pork ribs my fav. More of a take out simple place. An old Ny Jets Football player owns this. Been a customer for more than 10 years.

Best BBQ ever and here's why... These guys use real hardwood to slow smoke their meets. A lot of other so called BBQ places are really just roasted meet with BBQ type sauce. This is really not a restaurant to dine in.... just get the food and go. The only negative is that I'm too poor to eat here and the smell of the fire/food is just an absolute torture to me every time I go to the King Soopers next door. Dickies, Brothers... Hick House... they are all really just a joke compared to Winstons.

To start with, I am not a huge fan of BBQ. However, I think I can get an equally decent meal from a can. The beans and all the other sides taste as if they came from a grocery store deli. The meats are alright; the brisket being the best. I also feel that the meals are a bit over priced. I wouldn't spend my money here, but it is edible if someone else is paying.

Quite disappointed. Always about trying a new place and supporting the local community (though I know its been here for years - I just moved back into the area). I always approach with a smile and really expecting the best from our community. Owner was less than enthusiastic about a smiling new face in his business (same with the family member working at the time). Food was bland and meat was dry. Dirty place too (not just from the smoker either.) Every item I ordered was heated in the microwave (and I tried a little of everything from the menu).

Ron and Winston know how to smoke meat! Denver offers very average BBQ as a whole but these gentlemen have it nailed. Over the years I eaten here more times than I can count and their ribs are always very good. I do wish there was more emphasis on their rub ( I order my rubs from Rendezvous and Salt Lick) but their sauce is one of the keys to a great taste. The sliced briskets is always very good and finally the baked beans are as good as you'll find in any BBQ joint anywhere. Ignore the store front, you come here for the food!!

Best take out BBQ! Love the brisket and the whole chicken. This is a great stop on the way home from work if you don't feel like cooking.

Holy smokes, Winston Hills has the best BBQ ever. We just had the greatest BBQ experience to date! Don't go in expecting luxury, it's a small strip mall restaurant with I three two top tables. So delicious.

Have been here several times as the wonderful smoked smell draws me across the parking lot. Had not tried their ribs until just the other night. They are awesome! All the barbecue is great-but the ribs are the best. Not much dining space so took it home with me.

So yummy! And I didn't have to leave my neighborhood for good BBQ!! Awesome info about the owner... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/… . Tried the beef brisket, chopped brisket, chicken, baked beans, cork on the cob, potato salad, & coleslaw. I'd definitely go with the beef brisket and beans again.

New in the area, I had their brisket and ribs the other day. It is delicious. The meat are tender and flavorful and the BBQ is not too sweet. I'm not a big BBQ fan but I love their food here.

I tried the pork sandwich first. Little dry but good flavor. Had to use the sauce for a medium. Sauce is kinda interesting..... Also tried the brisket sandwich. Not too bad. They slice it thin cause of the quality of brisket isn't quite there. If they sliced it any thicker it would be too chewy. I give this place 3 starts cause it's worth trying but won't go out of my way to get again.

Not a fan at all of this place... Sorry. It's a take out place which is fine, but the customer service was just really poor. The food and BBQ sauce was nothing at all to write home (or anywhere else) about. Was looking forward to some good smoked BBQ and didn't receive it here at all.

Really good ribs... Tasty sauce. Decent sides. Portions are huge and worth the money.
