Went here on a Saturday night to take advantage of their daily happy hour. Pretty decent happy hour prices on food and limited drinks. It was my husband, another couple and me, and we were surprised at how quiet it was for a Saturday night. There not a ton of people there, the "crowd" was very subdued, and it was just eerily quiet for a Saturday night. Our server was nice, and certainly tried to liven things up by offering shots. The buffalo waffle fries were delicious!! Spicy, cheesy and totally hit the spot. Overall, a decent place to go to start the night inexpensively. I'll likely be back.

Cozy patio fire pits. Avoid Lodo D bags and DTC cougars by coming here to the land of burb folks. Draft Beer: great divide Yeti and Hercules, Odell 90 shilling, Oskar blues, left hand nitro plus many more Irish taps. 20+ Irish whisky 30+ scotch (my fav Lagavulin 16) around 20 HDTVs. Maggie Smith's is owned by the same restaurant group that runs The Irish Snug, McLoughlin's, and Slattery's. They all offer consistent Irish food and service with Happy Hour everyday 3-7pm plus daily drink specials.

Love the salmon filets ! I order them regularly as sides only , nothing else. Great price for just a single piece of meat also.

The happy hour doesn't do 2 for 1 beers anymore... the food is still pretty good tho so it's still good just not great ;)

Good location, right off Arapahoe. The food is good. The 2 for 1 happy hour makes it nice to enjoy a double or have a couple beers at the price of 1. The bar is usually always busy and right across the street is a nice little 9-hole executive course. I recommend shooting 9 or even 18, taking the best score and then grabbing a drink at Maggies!

Though they may not have much of a beer selection on draft, Maggie Smith makes up for it with quite an extensive assortments of whiskey and scotch. Try some Jameson 18 on the rocks it's so smooth I can sip on that stuff all night! Their late night menu might be limited...but I finally got a chance to try their full menu and ordered the liver and onions served over mashed potatoes. Not for the faint of heart, but I guess consuming liver is an acquired taste. I liked it. It's very rich in flavor. Decent bar in the middle of no where and the fact that it's still there where many businesses have closed down says it all. 3.75 stars.

We had not been here in a while, and enjoyed seeing some new beers and snack items on the happy hour menu. The 5 lamps and Naked Tinker were still good, and the buffalo bites were delicious! Glad to see they still have All Day happy hour on Saturday and Sunday! No for the 2 stars. When we received the bill, we had noticed that some items we ordered from the happy hour menu were not happy hour priced. We wanted to discuss with the waitress, but alas, again, we ran into the 'Good service up until we need to pay' syndrome. This is a theme we have seen around lately and it is a trend that I wish would stop. Nothing leave a bad taste more than waiting to pay. I can stand a delay in initial service, but a delay to pay... that is unacceptable. My wife finally went in to get the bill fixed, and the bartender said 'Oh, happy hour is for drinks only'. Really? Nowhere, NOWHERE, does it say that. Not on the happy hour menu YOU provided, nor on the door, nor on the daily specials board, nor the flyers on the tables... nowhere. He reluctantly fixed the bill and the waitress apologized for the mistake (not for disappearing and us having to go find someone to fix the bill). So will I go back to Maggie Smith's? Meh, maybe... if just for a beer, but not anytime soon. There are too many other really good places around to waste time with 'shenanigans'.

Great option for drinks! Especially enjoy the warm drinks with whiskey. However, the food is not up to par. Ordered a simple chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The chicken was charred and dry and the fries were burnt and shriveled and completely inedible. I saw a couple seated across the bar send back a whole plate of waffle fries as well. My partner ordered lamb sliders which were also super dry but he did enjoy the Irish chips that accompanied the sliders. So go for the drinks and the bar staff is quick and friendly. Avoid the food.

I LOVE their Irish Nachos even though they are SO bad for you. My husband is Irish so he loves it here. They usually have good service and we haven't had anything bad.

Me likey lots! I wish it wasn't so far away. :( I came here with some friends for drinks after a movie. I had no idea the owners of Slattery's owned more than one bar and to my ultimate relief they had the old Slattery's food menu! Gots to have my irish nachos with my irish whiskey. We went on a Sunday and they have 2 for 1 house wine and well all day freaking long! YESSSSS!!!!! Our server was good, probably could have known a little more about the alcohol she was serving. One of the gent's I was with asked her what Irish whiskey was the well and she said, "I don't know, something Irish?" But she got the country of origin correct, right? She brought us more drinks as our current ones neared the end of their lives so good job! Irish nachos, yummy! Blue cheese dip with crisps, yummy! The gents said that the fish and chips and the corned beef and cabbage was really good. If you order a salad, go for the half portion, it's still as big as your head and they don't skimp on the yummy salad stuff either! I'll be back, even though you are soooooooooo far away from me.

So a friend won a Happy Hour for 10 friends -- you don't need to ask me twice to check a new place AND eat free food! However, parking was a total pain! Few parking places were available on a Friday evening around 5:30pm unless you want to park in a muddy, non-paved area where people were parking willy-nilly. Yeah, no thanks. If I didn't have 9 friends waiting inside, I would have just gone home. Instead I drove around and around and around until I found a place WAAAAAAY across the plaza. The place was packed inside, but surprisingly was not loud and it was much more spacious inside that I expected. For our Happy Hour we had three appetizers -- crunchy, moist gyozas, a veggie plate with ranch and club sandwiches. The gyoza was pretty good, the rest of the choices were, well, they were. Know what I mean? The beer selection was nice and the whisky choices broad. These two things will bring me back - if I can find a parking spot. A friend tried the "Banana Bread" beer. Interesting. Very interesting. My eyes said "BEER!", my taste buds said BANANA BREAD!" and my brain was completely puzzled by the combination. The other specialty beer on draft was a chickory stout, which I tried and liked. As for being an Irish pub? Meh. Didn't strike me as a "pub". It's a crowded bar in a plaza. Not that this is a bad thing, but "pub" and "Irish" it isn't. Since they were packed, service was a bit slow. I think I'll check them out again on another night when it might not be so crowded to check out the rest of the menu and let you know!

We came here last night for dinner and made sure to hit the happy hour, based on the fact that 90% of the below reviews talk about it. The parking lot is definitely tight for close spaces. Not spaces in general, just spaces right near the restaurant. There are plenty in the back parking lot and the lots to the side for the other restaurants. This is an excellent time to get some walking in before eating pub food. We waited at the front desk for a few minutes before a server popped by and quickly showed us to a table. We were seated in the back in the hallway leading to the restroom. It was kind of quiet and there was plenty of light. Our server was over quickly, which was perfect so we could place a drink order. Turns out the 2 for 1 is only on wells and wine. Beer specials apply to select beer types. I ordered a pinto grigo and my husband had a beer. Our drinks arrived quickly and both were nice and cold. I got the signature 'ticket' for my free drink and confirmed that this could be brought back at any time during a happy hour, for my 2nd drink. Good thing as glasses of wine are $6.50. Food wise, to start I ordered a cup of tomato artichoke soup and my husband had the french onion. We also ordered the southwest philly and the Guinness BBQ bacon burger. Our soup came out quickly and was nice and hot. My soup primarily tasted like a creamy tomato with a lot of acid. Little distinguished the presence of artichokes. But it was tasty and quite filling. My husband enjoyed his soup and it smelled good like sherry. I had the philly and it was really good. The beef was super tender and it wasn't very spicy. It could do without the shredded lettuce as that just wilted due to the hot filling. The fries were well seasoned and nice and thin. They stayed hot until after I had finished my sandwich, which was impressive. My husband greatly enjoyed his burger and it was huge. He took half of his meal home, for example. Overall the service is very good and prices are right for the menu items. The patio looks like a nice place to relax on a warm day and they have a fireplace going for colder times. Sure, go for the happy hour, but outside of that time, it would still be a good choice.

Ok for neighborhood bar food or quick drink. Definitely not destination food. Grabbed some chicken fingers. This was very little chicken with fish and chips batter-greasy and weird! Next was an apple crumb pie with ice cream. Second time I had tried it. Just a gooey mess of mushy apples and lots of mush topped with ice cream. That said, the wait staff was friendly, attentive.

Great happy hour 2 for1 wells/wine 3 to 7 Monday through Friday and all day Saturday & Sunday. Sliders best in town. Great staff and wonderful service. Lots of tvs to watch all sports. Food has always been fantastic and they serve it quick.

Popped in here to meet a friend for happy hour/business meeting. If you go here, you must try the blue cheese & bacon dip. Just decadent! They have a great beer selection, but since I'm gluten-free these days, sigh, I was disappointed that they didn't have a gluten-free beer. They process is to give you 2-1 during happy hour, and they give you a slip good for the 2nd drink. You can bring it back on a different occasion! I thought that was a cool idea. Our server was very good, fixing a cold soup issue quickly. Overall, I'd go back and try some other offerings on the menu.

This place is actually a lot bigger inside than it looks. Have only been here on afternoons on weekends, when it seems way to big for only the handful of customers in there. Green walls do not make a place Irish, though some of the decor is nice. Great wrap around bar, and the staff are very friendly. Had lunch here both times. Burgers were cooked to perfection on the first round and the corned beef sandwich on the second was delicious. Was nervous about trying the bangers and mash, so I opted for a cup of onion soup with my sandwich. Thank God I didn't order the bowl. I can't remember now if they said it was Thyme or Rosemary seasoned, but I CAN tell you they put in way too much. The only thing good about the soup was the cheese and bread if you could get the seasoning off of it. Even the onions were bitter from it. Still worth a shot if you need a good drink and a snack.

I like this place, but it is nothing special - one of many of the same type of upscale "irish" bars - think katie mullins, landsdowne arms, etc. Good food, good beer. Good place to sit at the bar and watch some baseball and have a few cold ones. My biggest problem is that they got rid of the 2 for 1 happy hour on select beers, which would have kept bringing me back. now it's just another bar with ok prices and is close to my work...

  • Cheryl L.

I've been here a couple times for happy hour. Some friends won a happy hour and invited me to share. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I asked for club soda and they kept it topped off the entire night. The Happy Hour specials are great 2 for 1. Best thing is that when you order 2 for 1 happy hour they bring you your first drink and then provide a ticket for your 2nd drink. You can use it on that visit or bring it back and use it later. I think that they think ahead and don't want you to have warm beer. I've had apps and a burger and it is good solid bar food.

A small group of us decided to stop by Maggie Smith's on a Sunday for some brunch and to watch a game or two. The location is in an area with a decent amount of other restaurants, stores etc. There is a large parking lot for the restaurant as well. Their brunch menu consists of breakfast and lunch items (wait isn't that what brunch is?!) and we were able to get 2 for 1 mimosas/bloody marys when 2 people ordered mimosas/bloody marys. We had 3 people order mimosas and 1 order a bloody mary so all the mimosa people got 2 for 1 and the bloody mary person did not which was okay but kind of unfortunate. We ordered the chicken tinders and I got the Reuben sandwich with fries. The food was okay just your average bar food. The atmosphere was good and they literally have TVs everywhere you turn and they show multiple games as well so there were football fans from multiple teams who came to the restaurant to watch the game and eat. The service was great and our waitress was very nice checking on us and making sure we were doing okay. This was definitely a good place to come and have a few drinks and watch the game.

Happy hour kills it!! Cheap eats that are super yum! Go for the beer brat on pretzel bun and the corned beef sliders. Minus one star for occasional terrible service.

Let me begin by saying. I've never been a huge fan of Irish food in general, so I may not be the best person to review my meal. I typically enjoy simple foods, but I found my Shepard's Pie to be some what bland. I did also try the corn beef and cabbage and I must say I really enjoyed the corn beef. Perhaps a cliche of eating Irish food on St. Patty's day, but oh well.... Good service, fun environment. I'll be back for the drinks or just a plate of corn beef. ;-)

My BF and I came here for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed our food. We shared a half order of Irish Nachos and I was too full for my lunch when it came! They were good, but very filling. I got a cheesesteak sandwich but I wasn't overly impressed with it. My boyfriend got the Shepherd's Pie and it was amazingly good! I would definitely recommend that. They have awesome drink deals and happy hour menu items. I would definitely recommend it.

The food is really good and the menu matches it quite well. There is a nice variety but there isn't too much. I've been here twice now and ordered 2 completely different things and both were great. The place is worth a try.

Well this review is based on 2 visits the first was a 4 star the second a 1 star. I am perplexed by the difference between the 2 visits we went at about the same time and even ordered the same 3 items. The waitress for our second visit seemed to be new. I asked about the happy hour prices for the appetizers the menu shows the time but does not mention the prices. The menu has a price us it the happy hour price or regular price. She came back and said that non happy hour they were a dollar more each which makes no sense. Moving on we order irish nachos brussel sprouts and the potato chips with a blue cheese dip was supposed to have garlic and bacon second visit they were both missing. Second visit all of the items were not hot. The brussel sprouts were also supposed to have bacon and parmesan cheese. They must have forgotten to order bacon as it was missing and the dish was not put in the broiler or whatever to get hot enough to melt the finely shredded cheese. The cheese dip for the blue cheese was not hot either. The ratio of chips to cheese is also off we needed another full order of chips each time. We got the refill no problem the 2nd visit we waited 15 minutes for our chips to show up after that we just got our check and left. The irish nachos were also almost cold. I would have thought that maybe two waited for the third but all of the items were less than warm. The nachos are ok but the ratio of cheese and toppings to waffle fries is off with too many fries. Overall I don't know if I want to go back or not. Based on our first visit we were excited to come back. Now we are not sure we sat in the dining area which had 3 other tables occupied not that busy but not empty but just getting a drink filled took too much time. I usually tip pretty well but we really felt they had to know the food was not hot and waiting over 15 minutes for and order of potato chips is just rude to me. You may ask why didn't I tell the waitress couple of reasons could not find her and my daughter does not like when I point out issues with the food and I was starving.

As an Irish-American pub, this place is nice. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing, you never have to wait for a table (unless it's St. Patty's Day) and the service is consistently good. There is a huge selection of whiskeys and I've been happy with the bar. I always find myself getting the bangers and mash with brussel sprouts, though the corned beef and fish and chips are good, too. They frequently add new dishes to the menu based on the season so there is often something new to try. My only complaint is that their desserts are not great. Also, twice we've ordered sides and then told after our mains came that they were out of it. So it's sometimes a good idea to make the waiter check first. Overall though, I really enjoy eating here.

I was there for happy hour on a Friday. Showed at 5:30 and got a table right away. Really? On a Friday? Happy hour has special beer prices for about 10 beers and 2 for 1 on well drinks. Service was fast and attentive. Had HH wings which were good but only 5 wings, and corned beef sandwich, which was a little dry. Usual pub fare and will try something else next time. Atmosphere and service makes this place. Beer selection is also a plus.

This place is a great choice, the menu offers creative Irish-infused American pub food, with interesting items like corned beef egg rolls, bangers and mash, etc. The beer selection is good and there are many TVs for sporting events. I Was there for a Broncos game and the whole restaurant cheered on the team. Food's time to table is on the average-to-quick side, even with a packed house. Definitely recommend Maggie Smiths!

I stopped in to have a drink during happy hour with some friends. The place was quite a bit bigger on the inside than I had expected. The seating was ample and the televisions were abundant. I did like the 2 for 1 happy hour specials. Happy hour is every day from 3 PM - 7 PM and 11 PM - Close. You get "Two-for-Ones" on Select Drafts, House Wines By The Glass, and All Wells. On top of this, the "daily special" on Saturdays and Sundays is an ALL DAY happy hour. Pretty sweet indeed! This is a true "2 for 1" and not a 1/2 price deal. I do have to give them kudos, however. They will stagger your 2 drinks, so you don't have a warm beer waiting when you finish the 1st one. Also, I had never seen this before, they will even give you a "free drink" receipt, so that you can enjoy your 2nd drink on a later visit if you wish. The appetizer I sampled (Irish Potato Nachos: Seasoned waffle fries topped with shredded cheese, black beans, jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, and black olives. Served with guacamole, sour cream and salsa) was pretty heavy and rather greasy, but still quite tasty. The waitstaff seemed very attentive. I will definitely be coming back for future happy hours.

I work just down the street from Maggie's, and my co-workers and I often visit for happy hour! We love the 2 for 1 drinks. It has a great atmosphere, excellent service, and the food is great for happy hour. During peak hours, the parking can get difficult as I think the bar holds more patrons than are parking spaces! Overall its a great place to chill after work!

Geoffrey (my boyfriend) and I had a date night here. He likes pubs, and really likes McCarthy's, but I don't... AT ALL. So, we decided to try Maggie Smith's. Might I say, it's actually not bad! We ordered a couple appetizers (Warm Garlic Blue Cheese with Bacon and Chips with Salsa) and Geoffrey got a Caesar salad. He ordered the salad with fried chicken strips. The food came out promptly, to our surprise. His chicken strips looked greasy to me, but he said he enjoyed them thoroughly. If you don't like the bitterness of blue cheese, do not order the Warm Garlic Blue Cheese with Bacon. Geoffrey liked it and I liked it to an extent. I didn't like the bitterness. It's either a hit or miss with my taste buds. So, it wasn't really a huge loss because I'm picky. The chips with salsa was VERY good. How can you screw chips with salsa up? Ummm... You'd be surprised. Maggie's salsa is very fresh tasting. I usually don't like chunks of tomato and onions. My salsa has to be puréed before I will eat it. This salsa is chunky, and extremely tasty! For dessert, we had the Warm Apple Crumble with vanilla bean ice cream on the side. It was very good! They turned the volume down on the television we were seated in front of at the bar and changed it to the news and turned up the music. This perturbed Geoffrey, being it is preseason of football and he was watching the game at about 9 PM. I couldn't care less about football and this is my review, but thought I would throw that in there. The bartender was very nice and it was a nice atmosphere. I'm coming back!

Horrible food. Went for the brunch because of the yelp reviews and not sure if they've had changes in the kitchen but it was terrible. Bacon was cold and limp, eggs over easy could've been hard boiled. The Bloody Mary bar could've been okay but simple things like a stir stick were non existent. Service was not as pathetic but pretty close.

Solid place for a bite and a brew. Typical fake irish american bar and restaurant. Better than Bennigan's was minus the monte. I work close by, so we hit maggie smith's for lunch or a drink occasionally. The food is generally good. I've tried a few dishes, and the fish and chips is on the high side of average. They usually fry a whole filet perfectly golden, and the fish doesn't have any skunkiness to it. The seasoning is a little lacking, but the tartar and malt vinegar make up for it. I love the fries-very crispy without being hard or crunchy. The reuben and burgers are pretty good as well. I've only had guiness here for beer, but it was poured properly and an accepable temperature. Service is friendly, but somewhat slow and inconsistent at times. It is not uncommon for a glass to be empty 5-10 minutes. They are bit slow to bring out the check. The atmosphere is quieter than most bar type restaurants, and the place is clean and well maintained. Overall pleasant for any casual get togather. Parking is limited during peak hours due to having so many restaurants in the strip. The development was poorly planned.

I decided to try this place after driving by it a few times. It was in the middle afternoon, so it was during the slow time, but there still were a lot of people having lunch. That ambience was nice, they played Celtic music, and there were also many televisions to watch. The service was very good, every time I finished my drink, somebody would come and fill it up. I had an excellent burger, and a great salad. It is also pretty inexpensive. I definitely enjoyed my lunch here. It's in a nice tucked-away spot off of Arapahoe and Peoria.

Fantastic! From their ghost pepper grilled cheese sandwich to their tomatoes artichoke soup, this place is truly a place to be discovered.

Pretty large bar outside Denver. Good place to meet up with coworkers who are working in the Centennial area. Food held up well & as always, great place to find local brews.

Good food, nice presentation, a live Celtic band, and unknown to us it was half way to Saint Patty's so a little free Guinness to toast the day. A very enjoyable dinner.

Fantastic! From their ghost pepper grilled cheese sandwich to their tomatoes artichoke soup, this place is truly a place to be discovered. Although it sits off the beaten path, it's a place to find & frequent! Excellent service, outstanding food & personalized service. We frequent the place a couple times a week... It's that good!

I have seen the restaurant for a whole now and kept meaning to try it. My wife and I went today finally and I was impressed. The service was good and the food was good. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the bangers and mash. Very good choices. There aren't too many restaurants near here, but this would be a good one if there were. Will try it again and recommend it.

I come here at least once a month with my coworkers at lunch. My overall experience had been great. I've only had one unsatisfactory server who was extremely slow and just seemed clueless. Every other time food and drinks are served promptly. I like the salmon dishes. I would like to come to a happy hour during the weekend, but don't live near enough. I hear its excellent. My only food complaints being, there is barely any crab in the crab cakes and I didn't care for the chicken tenders.

Above average pub food...my husband and I enjoyed our burgers. The happy hour special is a great deal: 2 for 1. They give you a ticket for the second drink to use at a later time if you want. Our waiter was really attentive. The patio has a fire pit and looks perfect for a nice night. The night we went, they brought in an Irish band. It gave the place a good vibe. Overall, I'm impressed. I'll definitely be back.

    (3)

Awesome place! There's no better way to beat the Arapahoe Road traffic then a stop at Maggie Smiths! The food is exceptional, the beverage selection is varied and more than fairly priced, but the staff is what keeps you coming back. I would definitely recommend!

Maggie Smith's is one of my family's go-to restaurants and I'm glad I had a chance to check it out when I was in town. It's has a pub vibe: a big wrap-around bar, hardwood floors, dark wood, plenty of flat screen TVs and a couple traditional bar games (I think I spied a dart board in the back). If you buy two drinks you'll get a ticket for a free one on your next visit (I think that's how it works...I don't drink so I wasn't paying much attention...). The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the pear and Gorgonzola salad with grilled chicken. It was a decent size and the ingredients were fresh, crisp and (in the case of the chicken), tender. A solid place to grab a bite and a brew.

Food is usually pretty good...service is spotty Ate lunch on the patio today and a super inefficient waiter...he had no clue how to multitask or check drinks or remove empty glasses while he was near our table checking on another table. We giggled about it because at one point we each (party of 4) had at least 2 empty glasses on the table while he went to get refills....maybe he had alot going on but all the more reason to think strategically about being most efficient at each stop...not to mention it was warm in the sun and we drank more and faster. We'll go back for sure but avoid the tall dopey blond dude's section.

Randomly found this place and went there for dinner and drinks during happy hour. Drinks are 2 for 1 on a good selection during happy hour and I know they have a happy hour food menu but we ordered off the regular menu. The food was great! Got a Guiness BBQ burger and I was pretty impressed! I'm sure the other food there is great. A little out of the way for me but I would definitely recommend trying it!

Went this past Thursday for family happy hour. This place has two happy hours; one from 3-7pm and the other from 10 or 11 to close. Draughts, select wines, and wells are buy one get one free which is a bonus. Lots of happy hour menu choices food-wise. Parents had the nachos which they seemed to like. Gf had the French dip which she enjoyed and I went traditional with the bangers and mash. Let me say, hard to find good, traditional bangers in the area and these are A-ok! Great flavor! Staff was very attentive and friendly, good atmosphere and very clean. Only downside is parking; the parking lot is small and not equipped for larger vehicles or even for vehicles to pass by side by side but does have an open parking lot across the street which is merely a minor inconvenience. We will definitely be back.

  • Randy B.

Well, if you want to drink this place might be ok. I see they have a lot of unique beers. But, if you are looking for food you should go somewhere else. If this is a traditional Irish Pub the Irish people must have pretty damn boring food. In fact, This Maggie Smith must know Mrs. Paul, because she borrowed her recipe for Fish Sticks. Not good. And the diet Coke is mixed so badly that it is barely distinguishable as being a beverage. One of the cute waitresses must have broken the heart of the delivery guy who sets the ratios of syrup and quinine water. Find a better place to eat dinner. randy

I work in Centennial, and have been here for lunch about 4 times or so.. It is a welcome break from hamburgers, burritos and Subway sandwiches, indeed. I have tried several things from the menu, and they've all been delicious. The portions are good, and most plates come with fries and a pickle. If you enjoy a beer with your meal, they have you covered, as well. I really don't have anything bad to say about them. Only four stars because I'm not feelin' as gregarious as usual.. :)

I went here for lunch on Monday. They weren't crowded got right in for a table. I ordered a hamburger with pepper jack cheese, mushrooms and avocado. It came with lettuce, tomato, onion, a dill pickle spear and French fries. The burger was cooked properly and it was served on a super soft Kaiser roll. The tomato, avocado and lettuce were fresh. My disappointment came in the fact that I know the mushrooms were not fresh. They tasted canned and pretty much ruined it for me. The French fries were just ok and not memorable. The waiter kept my drink full; the restaurant and bar were very clean. I liked the decor and the music was nice they played Irish bands the entire time we were there. Overall I might try this place again but not a must-return experience.

You know how people oftentimes remember where they were at when significant historic things occur? Well, I was at Maggie's Smith's (I think Maggie's isn't supposed to be plural) when Casey Anthony was announced to be innocent. Triva moment is complete. The ambience of the joint is dark. I know, weird right? Who's ever heard of a dark Irish pub? They've got a couple TVs and a healthy amount of tables. I like to judge an Irish place by their fish and chips, so that's what I had. They do have a number of other British/Irish dishes as well as what I'd term a "regular" bar menu. The fish and chips was a solid 3 star dish, with nothing overly memorable. Service was OK as well. Will I stop in again? Sure. Will I make it a point to go there if I'm not in the neighborhood? Probably not.

I don't give out many 5 stars but I feel Maggie Smiths has earned this rating. The food is much much better than the run of the mill Irish pub. Salads, wings, burgers, fish and chips are all excellent. The shepards pie is first rate. It doesn't hurt that they host Irish bands on a regular basis. I like Maggie Smiths

Good happy hour drinks and a good lunch selection. Fast during off hours and happy staff during busy times. A fun experience and good food.

Great friendly last night staff. Awesome happy hour. Menu could be expanded and may a more vibrant bar could be desired, but everything else about is awesome. Maybe more food specials.

I'm a frequent visitor and always enjoy it. Same ownership as Slattery's in Landmark, but I prefer Maggie Smiths, you don't have to hassle with the impossible parking and upscale prices. The entire staff is great - very friendly and accommodating. Food is quite good and they have a great happy hour. The bar is quite large with many TV's for sports viewing. I'll be going back (again).

Great for work happy hours! A couple of Fridays ago we went after work and they had buy one get one free drinks! Can't beat that! Will defiantly be going back again sometime.

We stopped in to watch a football game. The TV's and the seating are plentiful. And the service is good. We've enjoyed their other restaurant at Landmark called Slatterty's. But just when you thought you settled into an "Irish Pub" and on a cold winter night had a craving for corned beef and cabbage... keep driving. Seriously. They have a really nice menu and there are lots of options. The other meal we ordered was perfect. Do not miss the strawberry salad even if it is as a side. You'll be back for that one. But how on earth can you spend the money to open an "Irish Pub", buy signage calling yourself an "Irish Pub", blow open at least two walls to expand the place, pony up for some decent "Irish Pub" wall decor, deep dark wood appointments and then open a package of thinly sliced, (like making a sandwich - thin) processed corned beef and layer it cold on top of cabbage from a jar and mashed potatoes and call yourself an "Irish Pub"?

Great place for happy hour. 2 for 1's. After that it gets pretty pricey. Food is over priced. Service for the most part is good. If your there to watch a game, have some drinks and a bite to eat. Save your money and go to Jds. Drinks are almost half the price.

Eat here regularly. Good food, service and a nice place. The bad is that this place gets busy at times and parking can be a pain.

This place is awesome. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. I would definitely recommend it for brunch, happy hour or if you just want some crispy wings.

This place has a great Happy Hour...and it is not just at the bar. 2 for 1 anywhere in the place. The food is good and beer is unique. A great place to meet friends.

Awesome place! There's no better way to beat the Arapahoe Road traffic then a stop at Maggie Smiths! The food is exceptional, the beverage selection is varied and more than fairly priced, but the staff is what keeps you coming back. I would definitely recommend!
