This place is 2.5 times the price of a Santiago's for a tiny burrito! They forgot the green chile although the service was friendly. Seriously overrated. Hate to bash a local biz but that's the truth.

This place is amazing. My boyfriend and I grew up in Broomfield and now live in Denver, but still make the drive up north about once a month just to get their breakfast burritos. He enjoys their Gringo smothered, and I get their veggie breakfast burrito with beans smothered. Great green chili, and Cindy (the owner) is the sweetest lady you will ever meet. FYI- their cheese isn't a shredded cheese, it is more like a nacho cheese. But its great!!! Although I know it may freak some ppl out if they didn't know before hand. Also, this is more of a place you grab and go. not sit and eat..

This place is wonderful. It definitely takes a good place to compete with the ridiculous options available in Colorado for burritos. I would highly recommend the nacho burrito with chicken. Not to mention a great atmosphere and good service; as long as school is out or it isn't lunch time for HS students.

Chorizo breakfast burritos are fantastic. Nice family owned burrito place in Broomfield with homemade green chile you can drown your burrito ( and sorrows) in... :) enjoy

I really enjoyed the excellent service! But when I got home, I wasn't really impressed with my burrito.

So, I buy Burritos To Go's breakfast burritos for the office because everybody enjoys them. The service here is so very friendly and fast - even when prepping larger orders. They even pack a few extra goodies for us, too, which is appreciated. I really can't say enough great things about Cindy. She is as sweet and amiable as can be, and her smiling face is always there to greet you when you walk in. All that said, and since this is a review of my opinion and not my office-mates, I have to say that I found the burrito filling (filling, bc we got their gluten-free option) was just too darn salty for me... I couldn't even finish my chorizo bowl, and the few bites of hubby's bacon were fairly salty as well. Aslo, I prefer more egg in my breakfast 'burrito', too. But I digress. I haven't found a breakfast burrito that suits my tastes in CO yet... They're just made differently here, I guess. So, for me, I'm sad to say Burritos To Go was a no-go. However, that won't stop me from buying their burritos for the office as often as I'm able. I'm happy to give Cindy and crew the business!

Horchata (cinnamon rice smoothie) was good. Customer service was great. Taste tested several of the meats (chicken, beef, pork) and found them to be of lower quality and too salty, so we didn't order and won't be returning.

Although I have not been here in the last year or so, I am reminded that I need to go back! Cindy is awesome, polite and grateful for any and all business. The burritos are awesome and while different than the "usual", so is the green chile. One tip: If it's school season, try to get there before noon or after one because the high schools kids love these burritos too!

I loved it when we lived near by and have on several occasions tried to go by but they open so late for a "breakfast" place. Well I finally was able to stop by while it was open and I was so disappointed. First the pricing was so much higher than Santiagos or Jus' Borritos for the same type of order. The Green chili had changed and it was sooooo good the last time I had tried it . I was told that they might not have enough beef to complete my order. but they seemed to have it after all but the salt content was way up there. I really don't know why the changed the recipes but it must have been necessary in their opinion, maybe to save money. But at these prices and using canned beans they should have plenty of profit to rethink with. I hope that they will read this and take into consideration what is said and maybe make some changes. The gal is normally really nice but i even noticed that had changed.

This place is a gem. LOVE the food, LOVE the Lady that works the counter. LOVE the prices. You get full here folks. The green chili and the meats make the place. I mean everything is done fresh! Husband and I love this little place. They have no seating, so you have to grub in the car which can be a pain, but worth spilling on yourself. :) Must try this place people!!!!

I'm always looking for good burrito places. I found "Burritos to go" on Yelp and figured I'd give a shot due to the reviews. Well I'm not as excited like some of you. One big flaw for me in any burrito joint, "STOP USING CANNED BEANS". Canned beans mess up the flavor from what probably would of been a great tasting burrito. I did like the shredded beef. They could of added more beef. I liked the spice the green chile had. Did have some kick! Overall, it was an alright tasting burrito.

OMG I love this place! Thank you Yelp. The Carne burrito and tamales are absolutely fantastic. I didn't care for the beans or ground beef, but the green chili, steak and tamales more than make up for that. I will definitely make Burritos To Go a regular stop.

I will definitely be returning to Burritos To Go. Some friends have been telling me for some time how much they enjoy this place, so today, we went for lunch. The place is tiny - you're definitely taking your food with you, but the taste is big. The delicious smells hit me before I even walked in the door, followed swiftly by a smile from the lady behind the counter (one of the owners, I believe - it's a family owned business). They cook everything there on premises (except possibly the chips), and from what I could see of the kitchen, everything was clean and well-kept. The lady running things chatted with me for a bit - she was really delightful, and obviously proud of the business - it showed. And I can say they have every reason to be proud. She was happy to explain that they'd been in business for twenty years, and were going strong, and that they cared about what into their food. The menu selections are extensive, but organized and not confusing. I ordered a large carne burrito with shredded beef, cheese, guacamole and sour cream. When they say grande, they mean it. I'm a pretty big eater, and there was enough for two of me. The prices are extremely reasonable. You can eat really well on the cheap. They build the burritos out of multiple tortillas, which was slightly awkward if you're silly like me and unwrap the whole foil wrapper, but I scarfed mine down using a fork and knife, and it was fine. The taste was really good, and I liked that, unlike some burrito places, they mix the fillings together, so you don't end up with one bite of lettuce, one of cheese, one of meat, etc. Super-yummy, great prices, fast, friendly and family-owned. Before blowing a bunch of cash on food with less soul, from some uncaring chain, try this place. Like me, I suspect you'll be back.

So in my line of work I usually eat on the run. So I found myself up in Broomfield around 10th and Sheridan. (That's roughly 133rd and Sheridan for those not familliar with Broomfields streets) It was breakfast time and I was starving, so I pulled into Burritos To Go. I found a wonderfully friendly woman behind the counter, and a lot of community pride inside this very small establishment. A lot of pictures of the local High School kids, and awards for their work in the community. I ordered the "Ole" and I was pleasently surprised to see the size of it when it arrived. It was huge, and very filling. Tasted great, a little bland for my taste, but my taste tend to think everything is bland, so don't trust my taste buds. For the size of the burrito alone I would definitely reccomend it. And the taste was great, I just wanted to turn the dial up on the flavor a notch or two.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
