I usually love this place. The pizza is great, but the deal was that the Brighton parade was going on and I ordered pizza at 630. I call 3 times and they say they are busy we had a parade yeah I know I was there and that was 2 hours ago. Rude girl over the phone so I requested the manager he was rude as well saying we told everyone over an hour which is not what I was told. I had guest at my house and we're waiting and all they can say is there was a parade and closed streets. I live 5 min away and there are no closed streets. Every person was ridiculous and rude to me and I was just wanting them to know the the lady was rude and that it's not okay. I won't go to this place anymore no matter how good there pizza is. You don't even deserve the one star I'm giving you but yelp requires it!!!!

I have only lived in Brighton a short amount of time so not sure on restraint hours yet. I wanted a calzone so I drove over to Anthony's around 9:30PM on a Thursday. I asked if they were open and the very polite young lady at the counter said they closed at 9 but they could still serve me. I did not want to put them out so I politely said I would come back tomorrow. She looked at me and said "no! it's ok we can make what you want". Not only did they take my order they allowed me to eat it there and told me to take my time. Can I tell you that made a big impact on me and one I had to share with friends. I will defiantly be back and yes my calzone was amazing. Thanks to the staff at Anthony's my experience was one of the best yet!

Get the neopolitan, worth the money, but it takes time for them to cook it, as it's 18 inch pizza...

I enjoy the food here but the trouble I just went through ordering over the phone with a coupon for delivery was ridiculous. I had a coupon for an 18" 2 topping pizza for $14.95. All I wanted was half pepperoni and half cheese. The girl on the phone was rude about it and said I HAD to order 2 toppings or the price was $16.95. I don't understand why she couldn't just honor the price. I ended up having to order double pepperoni on the whole thing and ill just pick the damn things off half.

Good pizza, great crust, very skimpy toppings. I got probably 8 tiny pieces of sausage on my huge pizza. Also ingredients are canned/prepared. I guess jarred garlic is what you get from a chain. Wings were slimy - but the brownie was amazing!

Anthony's Pizza is our favorites! But do not eat there much because a little pricey. I ordered for New Yeas Eve, and was pleasantly surprised, the pizza I always order was $9 cheaper than in the past. Keep it up and you've won me back! The best in town! Thank you! Happy New Year!

They get one star because the option for zero stars doesn't exist. Customer service and the Sicilian pizza were both a big fail. My husband picked up 2 sicilians for take out. He came home and they were undercooked inside. He called to let them know. In addition, one of the pizzas had cheese stuck to the foil they put on top. Had to scrape it off back on to the pizza. I show back up there with the pizzas and they tell me they can't refund me because, "They don't know what I did to the pizza". What does that mean? How can you UNCOOK a pizza. Then they tell me we already ate some of it. Uh, ya....three people took three slices and found out it still needed to be cooked. I was treated like I was trying to scam them I had pizza in hand for proof it was bad. Employees are very rude. I was told to leave. Called corporate the following business day. The person I spoke to acted as if he cared. He was supposed to call me back and never did. Customer service: FAIL Sicilian pizza: FAIL Save your money and brain cells.

These guys make some pretty good pies and offer several styles which is great. The downside is the price. They are defiantly the highest priced pies in the area. The service is so-so, usually high school kids.

I have had Anthony's only a couple of times and I am not fully sold on it. First it's pretty expensive if you want more than cheese. $2.25 for each additional topping on the large. This last time we went we got the white pizza with onion and spinach. I was pretty disappointed by the amount of spinach on my pizza. First of all it was chopped spinach and a small smattering was all that was applied. I guess I am used to whole leaves and at least a good handful of leaves at that. Especially for $2.25...c'mon people. I'm not bitter or anything... The pizza was good though and we both enjoyed it the next day for breakfast. I don't know however how often I would actually order from there?

The pizza itself is wonderful. Crispy crust, spicy tomato sauce, great cheese, great toppings. Getting it fresh out of the oven is a good reason to eat in. Except that the staff couldn't care less, the bathroom apparently hasn't been cleaned in months from the orange stuff crusted on the sink. Toddlers screaming and running through the dining room, and no one who works there can be bothered to wipe a table or two. I don't know what to say about this place. The food is so, so good, but it's so scuzzy in there, I think I'll pay the price and get takeout from here on out. Sad.

It must be some kind of record. I ordered two pizza's and it was, get this $69! But holy cow those were some killer pizza's.

Not as good as Fuhgidabowdit Pizzeria down the street, but better than the other pizza choices in Brighton. Also kind of pricey, but kicks Pizza Hut, Serafini's, and Black Jack Pizza's collective butt!

Very good pizza and average pasta. A little on the expensive side for being a carry out or simple dine in (with paper plates) no frills kind of place.

I'm glad we finally got an Anthony's somewhat close to home. I'm so sick of living out in the middle of nowhere with nothing but a Subway and Sonic within a reasonable distance. Although no Anthony's can compare to the downtown location as far as the food (For some reason the pizza tastes better there, maybe it's because the oven has been in service for a lot longer? Dunno.) and atmosphere go, you can always count on a quality slice at a decent price at this location. If you have time, do the eat-in large pie, as opposed to delivery or carry-out. The eat-in large pizza is freaking ginormous, much bigger than carry-out size. The salads are decent, although it seems they're not as generous as the downtown location. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated on the inside, being that it's a brand new location. There's a couple TVs on, usually showing ESPN or news, sometimes cartoons. Parking at the Brighton Pavilion is hit or miss, depending on time/day. I don't mind parking a ways away and walking, but some people get pissy if they can't park right up front. (Wah) The only thing missing here is fresh brewed iced tea. All they have is the fountain crap. I'm giving this one 4 stars, because as far as Anthony's go, the downtown location sets the bar.

Great little spot we found while driving around for something to eat. Apparently not many restaurants are opened on Mondays in this area, so that is what led us all the way to Anthony's. We ordered an 18" Neapolitan, with white sauce, fresh veggies, and a couple of kid servings of pasta. The kids, scarfed up their pasta immediately. The 18" pizza we ordered was much LARGER than 18", and come to find out from their website when you dine in you receive a 24" pie instead as thank you for eating there. I only wish we had known, since we would have then ordered the 12" (Dine in is actually 22"), since we were heading to the Airport and weren't in need of left overs. Other than that, the pizza pie was amazing. If I lived around this area, I would definitely make this my go to place. We might have to sneak by on our way to the airport next time, just so we can try something different.

I love their pizza! I used to work at the one off Colorado and 7th for about a year, eating the pizza everyday. I still go to Anthonys because of how good their pizzas are!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
