People go here because it's withing walking distance of their office, and they didn't - or forgot to - bring their own lunch. That's the only reason it's busy. As mentioned by other reviewers, their food is "OK", but not great. If you're expecting a Snarfs or even a Quiznos, you'll be disappointed. Also they have recently repainted with brighter colors, but it still gives off an "institutional" vibe - they should hang some photos or add some real decorations. I also echo what others have said about service, I asked for something slightly custom (one of their subs on Panini bread instead of on a sub roll) and the cashier made a point to say that they don't usually do that, but she asked the sandwich-maker and they both said "OK". Great, I tipped an extra buck and looked forward to my sandwich on nice crispy panini bread on this cold winter day. Ten minutes later (yes, that's the standard wait time), my number comes up, and it's a regular sub. Seriously disappointing. The order-delivery person said they could re-make it but my co-workers already had their food and I didn't want to wait yet another ten minutes. Very dissapointing, and a good reminder of why I avoid this place unless I really have no other options. Also rating them low because I heard that they were complaining to the city about the food trucks which are starting to stop by the office park, cutting into their business. I'm sorry, that's called capitalism - the appropriate response is to improve the quality of your food so that you can compete for that business, not ask the government to ban competition and leave you with a weak product.

I like what they've done with the place over the last year. It's a great lunch. I would definitely recommend it. Big subs.

Yay! They deliver! It's hard to find places to deliver out in the Burning Tree Office Park area. Being a vegetarian, it can be difficult to find some place fast, that has foods that I'd care to eat. Today I was craving something simple... Grilled cheese and a salad. The sandwich was great- it had a nice healthy portion of melted cheddar cheese, tucked neatly between two pieces of Vienna thick sliced bread. I went with the potato salad which had a nice mild flavor with hearty red potatoes and just the right amount of onion and dill. I saw some other items on the menu that peaked my interest, but that's another day, another order...

Been going here pretty regularly for a few years now. Great sandwiches, decent-enough salads, friendly people who've gotten to know my name. I don't understand the people who say the portions are small - I made the mistake the first time I came here of ordering the large and took part back to the office. I'm not a light eater and the 8" is plenty for lunch. Reasonably priced; more than Quizno's but still under $10 for sandwich, chips, and drink. Prices have gone up recently but that seems to be the case everywhere. Also, I've never felt rushed or asked to leave -- I frequently read the paper long past finishing eating and never seems like an issue. Pros: good variety of sandwiches (including creative veggie options), high quality toppings, flexible bread choices (wrap, croissant, etc). Nice patio when the weather is good. Decent loyalty program. Cons: chicken is invariably dry and bland, other options are better. Can frequently be slow for your order to come out, even with hardly anyone there, and *really* slow when there's a big line. Decor does kinda feel like a corporate lunchroom.

The Deli is nestled in between businesses in the tech park and is right behind the Boulder Dinner Theatre. It is a wonderful place not only for lunch but for breakfast as well. Their wide variety of sandwiches makes it easy for anyone to find something they'd enjoy. As for me, my favorite sandwich is the chicken avocado on wheat bread. Unlike other deli's this one doesn't charge extra for toppings. And if you buy a soft drink you get a free bag of chips. For breakfast I usually order a ham, provolone and egg sandwich on a croissant roll. It has amazing flavor and is makes a great breakfast. The staff is exceptional and knows a majority of the guests names. There is nothing I enjoy more than having one of the owners or staff members address me by my first name as I walk in. I will recommend the deli to all my friends and family.

Way over priced, portions way too small, and when I ask for no bun, I do not want a bun. Not very hard people. They try to rush you out the door, do you cannot sit and feel comfortable spending your lunch hour chilling and reading. And the owner is really snotty. Although I work literally a couple hundred feet from this place, I will never go back, even if the food was free.

Close to work with lots of sandwich options! I love how many "hot" choices there are, too! Lots of salads for vegetarians. I'd recommend this to anyone on a lunch break who needs something fast and filling

Been frequenting the Deli for 8 years now and continue to be pleased. Michelle and crew deliver a huge variety of sandwiches and salads with a smile and speedy service. If you want hipsters, go hang out at a nearby food truck; need to take out a morning of aggression, go do battle at Wendy/Snarfs/Picas; want to get a quick lunch, read a paper, enjoy eating it in the sun, head to the Deli!

We enjoy the deli. The staff is friendly and the food is great. We especially like the Cheesesteak Panini. When we want a lighter lunch, we order one combo (that includes chips and drink) and another chip and drink. We just share the sandwich. It's enough food but it lowers our cost and calories. They have a frequent diner program that gives discounts. Lunch for two with one combo, plus extra chips and drink is around $15.

I swear I must be the only person on Earth who doesn't like this place. It's overpriced and I am yet to find any flavor in any of their sandwiches. I used to work next door, and my co-workers went crazy for it. I'll take Quizno's over Flatiron Deli any day!

I do have to agree with Jordan, the place is not that special save one, the prime rib sandwich, YUM. A little horseradish sauce on top and this thing is good, everything else is ok. It's not too bad if you work nearby and need a quick place to grab something to bring back.

I love this place. Their subs are really tasty. You can't compare Subway or Quiznos. The quality is so much better at the deli.

Great food and fast service. I especially like bring able to order ahead, even when they're busy.

We have 82 people in our company and nobody eats here. Now I know why. Prices are high for a substandard experience. Had the honey mustard turkey wrap and it had lettuce, tomato and turkey. That's it. Very bland and unexciting. I don't know what people are getting that is promoting them to rate 3 and 4 stars. Maybe they know what to order and I don't? This is my first and last visit

Not a good sandwich and expensive. As a coworker put it, the bread tastes like it's the week-old leftovers from Jimmy Johns. I give two stars instead of one because the service was good - friendly and quick. The only reason I would come back is because it is in a convenient location.

Great lunch deli, surprisingly fast and what seems to be fresh ingredients. The house rolls really make it worth the $10 for a sandwich. Great sandwiches but not much of an ambiance, good for take away.

Going to go against the grain on the Deli it has good sandwiches and is a good value $8.50 for a soda, sub and chips huge menu. I eat here a couple times a week and like the service and the variety. They have a nice outdoor patio as well as a ton of seating inside. The Italian and Turkey subs are my favorite.

Great sandwiches, awesome crew and a large selection of food items. Even when they're busy, they're quite speedy and quality doesn't suffer. Excellent lunch (and breakfast!) choice.

Nice little deli tucked away in the business park. Good spot to grab lunch if you're working nearby. I went just after the lunch crowd and had the place pretty much to myself. The sandwiches were made fresh and were really good.

Great coffee! Tasty sandwich. Good price for the size of the sandwich. Staying down the street for training so location is very convenient. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. No soup today so I was a little bummed. Overall great easy lunch spot.
