I want to love this place but it has some Issues... Pro's- lot's of Space to hang out in... -they sell Gluten Free treats Con's- 1. Ambiance is off with lots of Clutter and Oddly Placed Merchandise 2. Not Very Clean in General (see description below) 3. Not a fully equipped kitchen and doesn't look sanitary There's a "Stickiness" that seems to coat the entire place, it's just kinda dirty. I've also peaked over the counter when they are making sandwiches- also not totally sanitary. I am willing to pay extra for things but I think another reviewers is right- the freshness and quality of food doesn't match the price- they overcharge for certain things. I've also had an experience with the owner where he's tried to get me to buy MORE stuff than I wanted. Me: "Thank you, I'd just like a sandwich." Owner: "Oh, sure! Well everything's fresh! Have you tried our coffee yet?" Me: "Yes but I'm not drinking coffee right now." Owner: "Oh well we have these other drinks that are non-coffee, are you sure you don't want one?" Me: "Oh no thank you." Owner: "I see you are getting gluten free bread with your sandwich, have you seen the other gluten free stuff we have? It's awesome!" Now this all sounds innocent- I'm in Sales and I don't mind being sold to- however his tone was a little Desperate and Pushy. I was clear that I didn't have a huge appetite and He was trying to gouge me a bit, and no one likes that. Also: The owner might be going for "Charming shabby chic?" The Chic Part is missing... ...There is also extra clutter that does NOT make sense. Want some coffee and a sandwich? Got it! Hey, want some Greeting Cards while you're at it? here ya go! There's an entire "Greeting cards" section plus a camping store (?) that connects to the back of the cafe. It all just seems like the owner is a Hoarder? It may not be the case but Customer impressions are Important. I'm not just some perfectionist, my Boyfriend thinks the SAME. From a Business Perspective it would make WAAAYYY more sense to sell Coffee Related Product in that section- where are the coffee mugs, thermos, etc? He would make way more money selling that instead of cards. OMG as a marketer it HURTS seeing someone drive a business with potential into the ground. That's where this place is headed if it doesn't make some changes! Even with the New Traffic coming in with the New Condos- he's gonna need to change to Thrive.

Hmmmm....where do I begin? Let me start by saying Jessica H's review is right on. First of all, this owner is about as cheap as cheap can get. He buys most all of his food in bulk from Costco and then sells it at prices like he made it fresh in house. (Not all) but many of the meats for the sandwiches are processed, and sometimes are not too fresh. When you order any kind of hot item it is microwaved. That is why the sandwich that you just paid around ten bucks for is slimy when it comes out to you. The owner of this business is just cheap, plain and simple! And believe me when I tell you, his overzealous friendliness is a complete act. In my opinion it is obvious that deep down he despises what he's doing, and ironically isn't a true "people person" at all. This guy is disrespectful, and can be borderline inappropriate. He skimps as much as he possibly can, yet over charges his customers on everything he possibly can. Please, don't support this man....he is fooling you and basically robbing you of your hard earned money in the process. Believe me, I could go on and on about this place - but I will stop for now. Hopefully this will be enough to make people think twice before stepping foot into this establishment. Please, do yourself a favor and go to a different locally owned business, or even a Starbucks....wherever.... just anywhere but here!

Not the greatest, nothing that really sets them apart. Nice little shop included, would be a quick cheap alternative if the price for a latte was cheaper, but for the same price there are better alternatives in the nearby vicinity. I just didn't find much flavor or distinction in the taste. Nice people though.

Great food, free WiFi, awesome owner and staff, great coffee. Love this place!!!! On the weekend mornings it's nice to stop by for a bagel and coffee and listen to the live music! I support local businesses over major any day, but it's always a big plus when they're awesome on top of it. I definitely recommend the salmon breakfast sandwich on a garlic bagel. You can thank me later :)

Worst breakfast burrito ever. Soggy mush on one side of tortilla and hard as a rock on other half. Served scalding hot. Impossible to eat. No less than 20 napkins needed. Unfriendly staff. Place is filthy. Cobwebs, dirt an inch thick. Kitchen area is terrible. Stained and greasy ceiling and old, broken down equipment looks very unsanitary. I use to frequent this place years ago and it was better but my first time back after 5 years and I remember why I stopped going. Food is terrible.

I had been going to Page two about four-five days a week for an entire year (close to my work). I love coffee shops. I am a regular at many cafes around Boulder county. It is clear the employees at Page Two do not care about the quality of the coffee they make, it always tastes burned or watered down. I also asked for extra foam and was given attitude, later i learned the baristas don't know how to make foam. The food is generic and overpriced. I spent about $70-$80 a week here for a straight year before giving up on it...the service is just so unfriendly. Tobias is a nice guy though. The older man who works there is extremely unhappy and grouchy, all his smiles are forced and very ungenuine. My friend went with me to Page Two and just bought a muffin. The older man gave him a hard time for not leaving a tip. My friend felt very uncomfortable and has boycotted this place, honestly many of my colleagues have boycotted this place as well. The best thing about this place is the ambiance, lots of comfy places to sit. I now only come here to work, never for the poorly made coffee or service. As a loyal customer I was spending $80 a week for a year you'd think the staff would be more friendly!

I love this place, such a wonderful unique neighborhood joint. I always get the same thing and I am never disappointed!

The food is pretty good and I think fair priced based on their business size. I like giving back to the local small business owners so I dont mind paying a little more for a sandwich or coffee. The bagels however are yum and very fair priced. I will continue to come back here.

4 stars for convenience and comfy seating. 2 stars for the food. They are in a tough spot with Tod's coffee shop just opening around the corner. I want P2 to succeed but they need to figure out how to offload the extra space they have and get it down to a manageable amount of space. They used to have retail, now it is just a wide open space. I get that the retail side just isn't profitable, but maybe lock the back door and put up screens to make it seem homier.

So I decided to try one of their sandwiches today. Thumbs down. I may give them another chance and get the turkey bacon and avocado. But I decided today to get the Cordon Bleu. More like Cordon Blows. I don't know what it is about hippies that makes them take would could be totally delicious and f*ck it up into a tastless bland waste of time. two slices of bread. A little sliced chicken, one sad ass thin slice of ham. That's right, one thin slice. Lettuce, swiss and tomato. It was seriously one of the most dissapointing sandwiches I have had. If you are going to charge $7.50 for the sandwich at least throw a few more slices of ham and some more cheese. For f*ck's sake. I never go there for coffee anymore because their coffee tastes like water with a few grounds thrown in.

I find the coffee to be good enough, and I LOVE the lox bagel and the CATS sandwich... unlike some of the other reviewers, I actually have had great experiences with the sandwiches! I'm not a huge fan of the environment. As another yelper mentioned, the big, open formerly-retail space makes the place feel like the set-up is temporary. It feels like they're not using their space very well. I've been going here occasionally for about 3 years and I get a very strange vibe from the workers behind the counter. The guy who runs the place used to seem disgruntled and worried (and maybe even a little hostile), and the employees give the strange air of being under his thumb all the time, like they're afraid to say or do anything out of line. It's a bit uncomfortable. The guy who runs the place seems to be making an effort to be more cheerful in the last few months, but it's still a strange vibe there... I always take my coffee and food to go. That said, I stand behind my statements about the lox and CATS being tasty!

Arrived at 1PM on a Wednesday Line - there was none Prices - $7.50 for a sandwich, a pickle and a bag of chips (standard variety you would get at Subway). Atmosphere - odd Explanation - This place is not bad. It is a tad difficlut to swallow that a $7.50 sandwich has way less that the sandwiches from Gunbarrel Deli, but the fact is they serve "normal sizes." As someone else stated, this is about the size of a sandwich that you might make at home. That doesn't mean it is horrible. My husband had a turkey rueben and I had a tuna melt. I prefer the "sweet" tuna and this tuna is more on the tangy side. And there was jalapeno jack cheese and you can taste it - spicy. Design - This place is a lot larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. It appears they have not chosen a direction for their interior. There are books, cards, wrapping paper and two necklaces. It is just odd on the inside. They have plenty of large tables in the rear of the building. Restrooms - two single room unisex toilets!!! MAGH! Women do not like to "share" toilets with men! Ew. The restrooms look decent - nothing to brag about.

Great drink, muffin, bagel, pastry, cookie, coffee selection. They also offer breakfast sandwiches, burritos and cold/hot sandwiches, although I have yet to try them. Soups, salads, & smoothies also available. I like the atmosphere, free wifi, and love the cushioned bench. Very relaxing.

Food is directly from costco, and for the prices they charge you can get a whole box of Muffins, Breakfast Burritos, Breakfast Sandwiches. The staff does not know how to run a store, the line was just horrendious but there was only a half dozen there ordering anything. Pretty ridiclous scene.

I'll freely admit that I'm possibly biased due to the fact that I can actually walk to this place from my house, giving me visions of Lorelai from Gilmore Girls. I'd never had a Cafe Florentine before this place, and while it wasn't the best thing to ever flow past my lips, kudos for the barista who encouraged me to broaden my horizons and avoid my fall back Juan Valdez. The coffee here is perfectly fine, and they have a pretty decent selection of sandwiches and other light foods. I get a kick out of the gift and card section, and as far as atmosphere goes, this place rocks. The staff are friendly and remember you, openly chat when there's no line, and I just like this place as sit and read spot.

I wish there was a coffee place in Gunbarrel that I could love; but this is it. Is it a store? Is it a cafe? It's both. So the atmosphere is bleh, and the food is bleh, and the seating seems designed to get you outta there. At least the wifi is reliable. Coffee is 'get it yourself' style from a pump-style thermos, so I get Americano instead. Oh well. We need a Vics or something...

It is too overpriced for the quality. The sandwiches are what I could make for myself at home - nothing more or spectacular, like Great Harvest. They charge almost $7 or more for every sandwich. I have only gone here when I have had a coupon, and I think that I may not even do that anymore. If they charged $5 and the sandwich, and it came with chips, then that would be a more accurate price for what you get, in my opinion.

I work right near this shop and find the staff to be very pleasant and the store to be comfy...where you sit for a while and read the paper or schmooze with your coworkers. I always order an everything bagel toasted with smoked salmon, capers, tomatoes, and onions and it is very tasty. My coworker once asked for a salad a certain way and they obliged and she said it was really good. This is my solid go-to place for breakfast and chat.

As a place to sit and drink coffee, study, read, play a game, chitchat, etc...this place fills the bill. I've not tried their foodstuffs, so I can't give an opinion on that, but it's a nice little hangout. They're only only open til 5 on weekdays, so it's not a cafe you'd come to in order to pull an all-nighter of studying or other work, but it's a good choice to while away an afternoon. I like the big tables they have where you can fit a group of people and books and laptops and junk. Staff is nice, bathroom is serviceable and clean. It gets a bit drafty when you sit near the door.

I love this local coffee shop. It's much better than Todd's coffee around the corner which is over priced and has limited food options. I love their bagel sandwich - Bacon, Egg, Cheese, Avacado, & Tomato (BECAT) is very tasty. Also, on Saturday mornings there is a local guitar group that quietly plays at one end of the cafe. Overall, great for lunch, brunch, or coffee on your way to work. I'll definitely be returning.
