We went there a while ago and we were quite impressed with the quality of food. This place run by a Thai family was located in one of the most unexpected places in north Boulder.. the place was dark, strangely secluded, and close to no other 'attractions'.. we had to think twice before we could enter into the building. But it was definitely worth the "risk"... The service was very friendly and the place was very neat. I and my wife.. we just loved the taste of the food. Will definitely recommend to anyone who love spicy Thai food!

I came here a few nights ago with my aunt. We were both first timers, but she had heard the food was excellent. The rumors were true, the food is pretty delicious. She had the drunken noodle with chicken and I had my old stand by, pad thai with chicken. In addition, we had a cool and crunchy cucumber salad as an appetizer. However, the waitress doesn't speak much English, and they gave my food to another table - it wasn't even what they ordered! My aunt's food came, and we tried to ask about mine, but she didn't understand us. After flagging down the person who seated us, we explained - but it still took them 5 more minutes to figure out what happened. I can understand she was embarrassed, but they didn't even try to explain or apologize. All in all, I think I will get take-out if I'm craving Thai again. The food is definitely worth it though, and we all have our off days, so if you don't mind 3 star service, you should give Bangkok a try. The food alone gets 5 stars, especially since I've been told Boulder doesn't have the best Asian fare.

I think this restaurant is closed. I tried calling the number listed and it was disconnected.

This is a dinner-only restaurant that shares the space with the North Boulder Cafe. I think it is the same Bangkok Cuisine that was once on 13th St. in downtown Boulder ~8 years ago. I will ask about that next time I go in. It just opened recently; there was a Chinese restaurant doing dinners here for quite a few years prior. A friend and I had dinner at Bangkok Cuisine last night. I liked the people (a family?) running the restaurant and working there. They were polite and welcoming, despite some language barriers that at times made communication a bit strained. This added to the cultural authenticity of the experience, ultimately!! ;o) Lots of vegan and vegetarian items on the menu.... Egg rolls were tasty...a bit oily, but totally yummy. You can only get an order of 4 for $5.95 which I thought was a bit inflexible and rather steep for an appetizer. I suggested that they offer the option of ordering 2 egg rolls, but am not sure if they understood what I was suggesting. The yellow curry with tofu was what I ordered. This was excellent. Vegetables included potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and broccoli, all crisp and fresh. My friend ordered the Tom Kha soup and liked it pretty well. There's a whole world of yumminess awaiting me at this place. It is in my neighborhood, so I will be back.

Though the ambiance is kind of truck-stoppish, this might be the most vegan-friendly Asian place in town, and the food is great! They are open til 10 and won't roll your eyes if you come in late. The food is delicious, reasonably prices, and the service is really friendly. For all you non-meat eaters out there, these guys are really conscientious. If you tell them you're vegetarian they actually omit the fish sauce (most places don't do that), they'll ask if you want eggs or not, etc. They also have brown rice as an option, and they give delicious tapioca for a free dessert. A welcome addition to the limited North Boulder fare.

I had dinner at Bangkok Cuisine last night with my girlfriend. The service was okay, portions were decent, but the quality was hit-or-miss. The mango lassie was uninspired, full of ice chunks, and tasted like it came from a powder mix. The vegetable tempura offered a nice selection of carrots, zucchini, eggplant, broccoli, and onion rings and the batter was light and tasty. However, their pad thai was mostly noodles and didn't have a lot of meat or other veggies, while the cashew nut chicken stir fry was also mostly veggies (although it did have a nice spice to it). If you're in the area and looking for ethnic food, you're probably better off going to Pupusas next door.
