Ryan our server tonight is amazing! Very prompt, accurate and very friendly! He doesn't miss a detail. Our drinks were never more than half way before he was bringing more. He knows the menu and recommends things to your choice! Wait was only 5-10 minutes quick service. And the peach tea is delicious!

I'm giving 5 stars for the Dallas cut of steak ONLY. That darn steak melted in my mouth almost like a filet mignon but less expensive. The rolls are fine but I don't like that butter they serve with them at all. The salads are fresh. What more can you ask for.

This place was awesome! My girlfriend found this place on yelp and we decided to try it out since we're visiting from out of state. The service was better than most places we've been here or back home (the manager came by with a gigantic rib to try on the house) and everything was very well priced, even the margaritas with patrón kickers. We had the BBQ chicken and a sirloin steak and both dishes were great. I highly recommend this place!

Always very packed. Thankfully we made a reservation. Took about 10 minutes with reservation but it was worth the wait. Very loud tho so if you're planning on having a nice quiet evening, definitely wouldn't recommend here. But it's a good place to have a good night with groups of friends. Plate of food was large and yummy.

The food is always amazing and piping hot but better than the food is the service! We have been coming to this location for a year now and every time have received extremely friendly and attentive staff! Today is was a busy night so we headed to the bar and Andrew and Megan treated us like kings! Thanks for the great service, as usual, and we will be back!

Being a mother of a toddler, I have to compromise with finding a restaurant with good food and toddler friendly ambience. Texas road house is a perfect place that meets both areas. Pros: the bread and cinnamon butter is AMAZING. I know they are famous for that bread and butter! The staff and waiters/waitresses are friendly and welcoming. The ambience is casual and chill. The menu has a variety of options for steak, BBQ and some seafood (shrimp or catfish). They are child friendly, which is very important! Cons: the food took a little longer than expected, and our waitress was super slow and bringing the bread and butter when we ran out. I ordered the 16 oz prime rib, which came out looking a lot bigger than 16 oz (not a con) but when I cut into it, it was kind of tough, which prime rib should not be! The first bite was most excruciating because I was so hungry and looking forward to prime rib, but the meat was tough and very dry. I drenched it in au ju sauce but it was still very dry. I ordered it medium, but I would say it was closer to medium well to well done.

Good steaks, if you go there, get a steak, their grilled shrimps are awesome. Service is great and their people are warm and welcoming. Keep it up!

So far the experience has been ok they could use a healthier introduction of the bread it seems like this is a glob of fat the cinnamon butter is not real butter it seems like margarine with just cinnamon in it . The salads were very good homemade dressing is a plus and the blue cheese dressing actually was very scrumptious. The raspberry iced tea is pretty good. This part is not food related at all we were sitting at a table not a booth and it is the most uncomfortable chair I think I've ever sat in my life!!!. Now back to the food review. My steak is good I ordered the six ounce sirloin my veggies are overcooked especially the broccoli. I told the waitress about the vegetables and she went ahead and brought me over a delicious sweet potato to make up for the lack of the veggies. Megan is a very wonderful waitress she has done her best to make us very happy the manager just came over with a complimentary taster of their specialty award-winning ribs but unfortunately we don't eat pork but that was a very nice gesture. Megan also offered us some rolls to go she is doing a stupendous job. So overall this has been a pretty good experience.

DONT GO HERE FOR LARGE CELEBRATIONS. I just left texas roadhouse for my birthday and by far had the worst birthday service I have ever had. To start, they sat my party back to back even though I called to set reservations houra before. Our waitress Taylor was told several times that our party had a birthday, but she was so self absorbed that she didn't listen and we never received the birthday celebration that we came in for. That girl needs some customer service skills! Never coming here again.

Seriously the best place for awesome food and service at a VERY reasonable price! I am not much of a beef eater, but the chicken critters are amazing and the sweet potatoes,WOW! Sean and his entire crew go above and beyond to create a fun relaxed atmosphere. Always my first choice of places to go!

Excellent food. There were a lot of birthday parties the night we were there and a long line to get in. We were still seated under the quoted time and the servers were on their games. Food was exactly as ordered and out appetizer came out very quick. Great steak house.

Good food and service. The employee in the picture has been playing with his phone for the last ten minutes now. Good thing he wasnt my server. As a mgr. Myself, i would like to know if my employees were wasting my time. He was supposed to have been setting the tables. HE WAS NOT ON BREAK! thats the problem with these young kids today, their lives revolve around their phones. If you dont like this post, then obviuosly, you have never been a mgr that had employees wasting the companies' money!

We have just moved here from the UK and went here last night for my husbands Birthday, we used the call ahead queuing system and downloaded the queue app to keep an eye on our place in the queue (started off at over 30 ahead of us)! The long queue shows how popular this place is, and for good reason! The nuts, rolls and cinnamon butter for starters were delicious and a nice way to wait for your food. It was our first time here and we were given a small rack of ribs to sample too! Oh and frozen margarita- yum! We had the friend onion starter (awesome) followed by steaks all round. My husband had Sirloin with a side of ribs, I had fillet steak and my 6 year old son polished off an entire 6oz junior sirloin plus ribs, rice and some fries! The food was absolutely stunning and we are super fussy about steak. My husband even got a little brownie on the house for his birthday, which was a nice touch! The service was fast and very friendly. All in all, I can happily say dining here was an absolute pleasure and we will most definitely be back.

I took my dad here for Father's Day, so clearly I expected it to be busy. I had no idea it would be a zoo! I called ahead and they informed me that I was on the queue and just to check in when I got to the restaurant. Once we got there, there were families taking their dad's out EVERYWHERE. The nice thing was that they had a little tent set up outside serving free sno-cones and selling beer. We ended up waiting quite a bit longer than our expected wait time. They gave away our table saying that they called our name, but we didn't show. However, I never received a text, which is what they use to let us know our table is ready. The service was good; about as good as to be expected on a hectic day like that. I ordered the Dallas filet and it was melt-in-your-mouth good. I ordered my filet with a side of potato soup, which was good, but about the same as other big box steakhouses. I also ordered the steamed veggies with my meal. Overall, this place is not bad. The bread at the beginning is so good too. Ask for 2 baskets on your way to the table. I think I'll enjoy this place a little more if I go on a regular day.

I am absolutely in love with this place. I've been coming here for years and I've never had bad food. Steak is my favorite, and this is definitely some of the best restaurant steak I've ever had. (Particularly, the Ribeye and Prime Rib.) I've had every appetizer, too-- everything is yummy. Just be careful, it is a LOT of food. It's not just the food that is consistently delicious, I've been here well over a hundred times and I cannot recall a bad service experience. Everybody is always very friendly and efficient an no matter who I'm with, we always feel welcome. This is definitely my go to restaurant!

The food is good but not great. The steaks were over seasoned. The vegetables and salads are average. They are very good at keeping the restaurant looking clean--kudos.

Place is always packed and for good reason. Good steaks and rolls. Prime rib melts in your mouth. A little more expensive but worth it.

Okay--I'm not one for being too giving to a chain restaurant. BUT--Service means EVERYTHING to me.. Let me start with a Friday, end of the month, everyone just got paid, so the place is packed. I did call ahead seating, they told me 45 to 50 minutes. 47 minutes from the call, I was seated! Did I mention crazy busy? Yet, once seated, I never felt like they were really busy!! This was our first time at this location. So the manager Sean, brought us a complementary pork rib. We felt bad, he was so nice, but we do not eat pork for religious reasons. He was determined to welcome us right. Out comes an order of fried pickles to try. (Yumm!!!!!).. It was really nice, and I appreciated the gesture! Val was our server who came over, and took our order. My gent steak, baked potato and veggies. Me, steak, mashed potatoes and a salad. We were sitting there enjoying the conversation. When Val came back within 5 minutes of taking our order, to let us know Sean (Maybe Shawn?) saw that we ordered a baked potato and wanted us to know it was coated in bacon grease! OH MY GOSH!!! Can I say over the top service to ensure we did not eat pork? My guy was floored. Ordered another potato choice. Then back to chatting. Not soon after, I got my salad, and shortly after that we got our steaks. Perfectly cooked. Our drinks never went empty, she was always there before it was less then half left. I was so appreciative of the service we were provide. I have to say, we tipped BIG for our server. I have eaten at some of the super expensive steak places, and I would rather go here for the service alone. BIG kudo's to this location for understanding that customer service creates customer loyalty!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!! . 4-14-2014-- how can I update a 5 star, like this.. Weeks later and Shawn once again provided stellar service.. He remembered us!! I wrote corporate and the location to thank them. I am certain that might be a little reminder.. But he was so gracious. Made us feel so welcome in a very busy welcome. He runs a tight ship and keeps everything moving. Service is always over the top good. The food is fantastic too, I can not stop raving about all that they do to make us feel welcome and appreciated.

This is one of my favorite places to get a steak. The food is always good and the price is reasonable. I've eaten steak just as good here as several high end steakhouses. The atmosphere is great for my kids who tend to be a bit loud anyway. The peanuts are great to entertain then and snack while you wait. Margaritas are good and the beer is cold. I'm more of a craft beer person and that's usually not an option.

got lots of drink selections, draft selection is not extensive but got several popular notional choices. love the tall mug and price is reasonable. atmosphere is .. crowded.. looks dingy. suppose to look like roadhouse somewhere in Texas? got it duplicated pretty well. For about $40, you can have two drinks and good meal. love how rolls were already on the table when we sat with bucket of peanuts to munch on. place is packed during the dinner hours.. no matter what day of the week..

Fantastic sweet rolls, buttery and soft. Cinnamon butter is quite tasty. Acceptable beer selection - 5 or 6 beers on top, mostly light. Would order chili again. Steak was nicely charred and cooked well. Caesar salad has great croutons, but cheap cheese and lettuce detracted from overall flavor. Middle of the road.

On a Sunday you would think it would be busier. Maybe it wasn't due to the Broncos Playing at Home. We were seated quickly, and I dived into the Ohhh So Delicious bread and Honey Butter. MMMMM. The Server was so attentive he even brought out more. I ordered the 8 oz steak medium well with Rice and A Loaded Sweet Potato. Great price, so much food. It was flavorful and didn't even require steak sauce. The booth was in good proximity to the TV for watching Sports. My Lemonade never ran dry and he was right there with a new glass and clear off the others. No Dessert I was stuffed. And when calling ahead they let us know it wasn't busy at all. They have happy hour specials for the menu as well. I think it was 8.99 for a 8oz steak.

Good service and the quality of the food was in line with all of the other Texas Roadhouses I've ate ate. I had the 12oz prime rib which was tasty but maybe a hare over cooked.

This location of Texas roadhouse had the most amazing customer service I've ever encountered probably in my whole adult life. Every person was very attentive, our food was great, beer was cold, I've never had a better experience. Kudos to everyone who worked that night. I will be back for certain.

My husband didn't even know he liked steak till I introduced him to Texas Roadhouse! As far as steakhouse chains go, TR is simply the best. To top off the amazing food experience, every time we eat here the wait staff are always incredibly on their game. That's not always an easy task when you have a special needs kiddo, but they're so accommodating, kind, understanding, and really just make the experience that much better. If you're looking for a family steakhouse with good eats, this is the place for you.

  • Lisa Y.

The service here is amazing; the staff is welcoming and attentive! I love their rolls! It's soft pillowy bread with a light honey glaze on top. I could eat a whole basket by myself! They have a delicious hearty chili, which goes well with the rolls. I ordered the Dallas filet accompanied with a loaded baked potato. The food was good, and definitely better than the Outback chains.

I like how you can eat peanuts and throw it on the ground! Ive never been to a restaurant where I can do that. Their Prime Rib is absolutely amazing. Its always cooked well and the sauce that comes with it it spectacular. I could drink that sauce by itself! With the horseraddish it satisfies my prime rib craving.

The floors are blanked with empty peanut shells complementary as you wait for a table. The steak here is average at best, you get what you pay for and it's affordable. Can get really busy and there's often a wait...the sides are good, but what stands out here is probably the bread and the famous honey butter that they serve along with it. Sooooooo freaking good I think I can smear that stuff on just about anything or even eat it alone in it's entirety!

  • Shaina S.

Love this place! Texas road house never dissapoints. Service is always quick and friendly. We came in a few nights ago for my husband's birthday meal. There was a line out of the door and a twenty minute wait, no big deal, but we were called about 18 minutes later. I had the Dallas filet and my husband gorged himself on the porterhouse. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, they're doing it right here!

Been to this location many times. Never had a bad meal once. I'm a fan of the bone in rib eye or the prime rib. Love the seasoning and they cook it right every time. Great for the fam, or just a nice dinner for two.

From the minute we walked in I knew this was going to be one of my new favorite restaurants. There were fresh rolls hot out of the oven and delicious honey butter waiting for us. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, our server was attentive and generous. When the server learned it was my first trip to their restaurant, he brought me a sample of the ribs to try. Oh my goodness. The meat fell off the bone - delicious!! The manager also came over to make us feel welcome. The service was incredible. My steak was cooked to perfection and I will definitely be back any time I'm in the mood for a great steak. The couple at the table next to us were regulars and gushed about how much they loved this restaurant. Apparently there is a branch of this restaurant close to their home but they make it a point to drive out of their way to this Texas Roadhouse because of the quality of the food and service. Definitely try this restaurant as soon as you can!

This is my go to restaurant whenever I'm back home visiting. Ranging from delicious steaks to killer ribs or roasted chicken. Very festive vibe and amazing service! My favorite has to be the New York strip. Definitely drop by when you're in the area. Although it gets way crowded during dinner and specially on weekends. A must-try!

  • Bomy C.

I used to come here often. Its close to home and great selection of food for everyone's taste in my family. The food here has always been good, no complaints there, however i have stopped coming to this location due to the horrible service i received. Our server, as she was seating us, started making some racial remarks about my baby girl (she is bi-racial). When i asked her about her comments, she quickly tried to retract and say that she was complimenting her as bi-racial babies are usually never cute... REALLY???? So i will drive 30 min to go to a different texas roadhouse or go to a different steak house all together!

  • David A.

Food is very consistent and good. It is difficult to find a better steak for the price. Service is OK, and would probably be great if you could ever find a slow time to go. All that said, it is important to note that recently Texas Roadhouse did receive an F from the health inspectors.

Enjoyed my steak dinner here. Next time I will stay away from the appetizers, just too much food. Good service, location is convenient.

We ate here recently and the food was great. I had a BBQed chicken sandwich. My wife had a sirloin. We both enjoyed our food. There was nothing that we could complain about. As far as moderately priced steakhouses, this place is about as good as it gets. The atmosphere is a 4/5 stars since it is lively, loud, and exciting. The server was 3.5/5 as she just wasn't on top of drinks and wasn't that interested in being there. The food was 4/5 since it was fair for the price, and good. Its a regular old Texas Roadhouse. They don't have the world's best steaks, but the price fits the product and service.

  • Jessica K.

I can't believe I could give a Texas Roadhouse 5 stars, but our server was just amazing and he deserves a whole mess of stars all by himself. I can't believe I forgot his name but I'm going to do my best to describe him the next time I find myself in Aurora 'cause he's gonna be a big part of why I came back. I took a friend out to thank him for picking me up at the airport and gave him two choices, "seafood or beef." Luckily, he picked beef 'cause I wasn't in the mood for Joe's Crab Shack either and we entered peanut shell heaven sometime around 7 p.m. on a busy Friday night. I love a place that doesn't take itself seriously and encourages cheese, sour cream and gravy. And if it's all on one dish, I can't complain. We were immediately greeted by a high energy, friendly, and attentive server named Scott? Richard? Mr. Moustache? (internal scream.) He literally stepped away and came back with a sweet tea in less than 10 steps and recommended these little hush puppy cheese ball thingies with jalapenos. Yum! I snacked away at those suckers while I watched an unexpected third party invited herself to dinner. (internal snicker) I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with baked potato and veggies since I was trying to be a semi good girl and my friend and his (girl) friend who was trying to be more than a friend ordered the pot roast with mashed potatoes and fixin's. It was so cute to watch how uncomfortable he was while this woman infected him with her "relationship bug." I do so enjoy a dinner and a show. The chicken was so tender, hot and had the right amount of salt everywhere. I wish I had more room in my stomach but it was tasty the next day in between two buns and some extra gravy. And again, our server was in and out like The Flash with iced teas and refills with a big smile. I'll definitely be back with friends if I was back in Aurora if I could get that awesome server again.

Tuesday night of running errands... Craving steak... Texas Road House it is! I have come to this particular location many times as it is close to my house. I am a big fan of the early bird specials Mon to Thurs 4-6. Yes, it makes me sound like I am in my later years that I eat dinner at 4:30 with no problem. That's dinner time in my world and to be honest, why wait another hour and a half to pay nearly double. Last nights meal, 6 oz sirlion, baked sweet potato and corn for $7.99. I mean really 7.99. When the clock strikes 6 during the week that same meal is like 14 bucks! So for 2 people, beverage, onion blossom thing and 2x7.99 dinners... total check... 26.58. Plus it was too much even with the smaller lower priced portions, peanuts, onion and bread which is complemintary that I took 1/2 my dinner home. I do like that you can call ahead as well if you don't want to drop in and have to wait to be seated. It's a nice relaxed place and even had free Wifi at this particular location, so it's good place if you're trying to plan something. You can still have access with your laptop or ipad while you wait, or to even write a live running play by play review.

I can't even believe I had to put three stars on any Texas Roadhouse, especially one included in our five state tour of them, we included on our road trip. This one got the lowest because of service. I could just say, Are you kidding me? Leave at that and you'd know if you went in exactly what I meant. However, some people's perception of good service varies, so I will share my experience. This was the second Texas Roadhouse on the trip and Utah's location had blown it out of the water with service and food. When we got here they wanted to seat us in the bar, but we wanted a table, not the tall chairs. We had been on the road 15 hours. It was about 9:15 when we went in and they had closed one side of the place out, the hostess let out one of those 'huffy' sounds and told us they would find us a table. Clarification, we were looking for a table, not booth. After her theatrics, I thought we'd have to wait, but they seated us right away. When they sat us down, there was a waitress sweeping the floor of peanuts. My husband likes the peanuts, and they had not put the bucket on the table, so he got up and got one from by their station. She saw him throw a shell on the floor and gave him a dirty look and swept it up. This TR has some tight spaces between the tables and the booths, so when she was sweeping she was right on top of our table. We would find she would sweep the ENTIRE time we ate, around our table. We looked to see what the frack she was sweeping, nothing people, there were no shells. It seemed like it was a tactic to move us along. It made us really uncomfortable having her nonstop sweeping on top of us while we ate, in this little area. The icing was our waitress making comments that we were the only ones left and rushing us. She was not refiling drinks, and we had to keep asking despite sitting right by the place they are submitting orders. There were plenty of people in the bar and in the section next to us and they were still open, it was not 10pm yet. The area they sat us had been full when we got there, but now it was us and the fussy sweeping staff member. The wait staff sat at a table next to us, literally, and the manager I am assuming, tells our waitress she can't leave until we leave. It was really put in a way that we were holding these people up from leaving work. Are you freaking kidding me? They were not even closed yet. Between the sweeping and feeling rushed out of there I am surprised I could give this location a 3 star, but the food was good, except the potato was room temp, you could not have melted butter. I hated getting in there late for that reason. I did not want the ratty old-sorry-you-didn't-drive-faster potato. We were going to go to Denver's location the next night but we were tired of driving and came back here earlier on a Sunday night and had the same crazy sweeping thing going on around us. I am not sure who is OCD about the peanuts on the floor but it is a place that tells you throw the shells on the floor. Read my Billing's Montana Texas Roadhouse review to see what it SHOULD be like. Don't judge on this location. We agreed we would never go back into this location because of the service and the feeling of being rushed out.

The best ribeye ever! It practically melted in mouth with wholesome goodness, her flavorful. The rolls are to die for, and the red chili hit the spot! Wonderful service and attention. Servers and hosts seem happy to be there and doing what they do. I will definitely try the one near home on So Cal, hoping they stay true to their menu.

This has been a chain that I have been eating at for years because they do steak very well. I enjoy the service that I get every time my family comes here. This place gets the best servers who do their job very well. The cooks/chef put out perfecly cooked steaks from rare to well done...just try and see how good this location is. Would like to see desserts at all Texas Roadhouses that are as good as the steaks.

  • L K.

We order to go from this location every once in a while and the food is usually delicious, couple of times my steak was overly well done but was still edible. Loaded mashed potatoes are always yummy where you scrape the last bite off the plate. The buns are to die for! Texas Roadhouse, in general, has good food and good prices.

Good place. Great staff, good parking lot, enough space for everyone. Meal is all right, stakes are nothing special (or may be i got wrong one?) This was my first time in this place. Really interesting way of having peanuts...hehe i bet it takes forever to clean that mess at the end... will go there again.

  • Jason V.

I'll start with the good. My family of 5 was seated with no wait, that was cool and unexpected. Our server was very friendly. The dinner rolls were really, really good, and good thing we filled up on them, because it went downhill from there. When I found a loooooong blonde hair in my salad the manager was quick to replace the Salad. My wife asked for Hot Sauce 2 times for her catfish and after 35 minutes just figured they forgot about it. The pulled pork was seriously the most flavorless BBQ pork I've ever had. I only say that because I've had pulled pork in Oklahoma City, Dallas and Denver that made me say.."wow". This pulled pork was very forgettable, perhaps it was a bad day for that selection. My kids loved the sweet tea but they for sure were not doing cartwheels over the catfish, mini burgers, and chicken salad. Good thing we were given a giftcard.

This place is great! This location is always packed, but service is great. My last visit here I grabbed take out. The food was good and prepared quickly. To my surprise they included complimentary rolls and a soda. This was a pleasant surprise. Great place to grab a bite.

The service was excellent. The prime rib and ribs were prepared to the way I liked them. Dinner for 2 with alcohol and tip was about half of comparable restaurants. There is a great family meal option before 6 PM, there are 10 very affordable full meals. Children's meals are very economical.

From time to time, we go here when we're craving a good steak and salad. They are usually very busy in the evenings, which can be a pain. They have wonderful customer service, with friendly servers and managers who visit your table to check in. I really appreciate that type of service. Despite being busy, drinks and food arrive quickly and they are quick to bring extras or fix anything. I recently tried their steak salad and it was simply delicious. That may be my new go-to meal there. We've also tried and liked their rib eye steaks and a few other dishes. Overall, a pretty decent steak and American fare restaurant especially for the price and service you receive.

Yum! This place does have a pretty great steak. And at an extremely decent price, nothing to complain about! Outback doesn't even have a steak as good as this.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed the Roadhouse before; it's a semi-regular destination for a steak and a beer or margarita when the inclination hits, as it's close to home and no muss no fuss. This location always seems to be busy, a very casual place, with lots of families most nights. Country music is heard overhead, and a couple of TVs at the bar area for glimpsing your team at play. The food is pretty good for the price; they do a great job with their steaks and most sides and appetizers. Their salads are generic and could be much better, but I'd imagine the majority of customers don't come here for their salad. I'll usually get a sirloin, and entrees come with two side choices. They've always cooked my steak properly, but I've had ribs or chicken here before, and have learned to stick with steak. Service quality varies here, like with most suburban chains. There's a couple of servers who've been GREAT ( a guy named Paul, I believe - wears glasses, has always been VERY good) and some others are average, but friendly. The one thing I always experience here is the lack of proper timing if starting out with an appetizer - they'll always bring out the appetizer out at the same time as the starter salads, without fail, and sometimes before the appetizer (except for that Paul guy.) Seems like the server always puts in our salad/entree order, then goes back to the computer to order the appetizer later, having overlooked it. I have no other explanation for it. Last time I was in, we ordered our appetizer and told the server that we'd give her our entree order when we were almost finished with the appetizer; that's the only way to go at this place. I normally don't save room for a dessert when dining here, but have tried a brownie sundae thing and an apple streusel skillet thing before, and they're good. They have a decent early bird/happy hour menu (from 4-6, I believe) which is good for those wanting an extra margarita or having a smaller appetite and needing to be in bed by 8:30, but I normally get here around 6:30-ish. There's always a wait during primetime, unless you snag a booth or table surrounding the bar, which is open seating. Come here for an inexpensive steak and a beer, not for a fine dining experience, and you'll leave satiated.

Texas Roadhouse- You seriously have a fan for life. I don't know what it is about your amazing rolls and homemade cinni butter, thick juicy steaks [topped with mushrooms & onions!], yummy peanuts [whose shells we can throw on the floor!], awesome drink specials, friendly and great staff and crazy saddle [that we put a birthday boy on!] that always puts a smile on my face or ensures a good time....but I love you. plain and simple. Love, a steak lover at heart :)

Service 10 stars. Food 4 stars. Our server was amazing! He was on top off everything and did things without even being asked. Best service we have had in a long time and they were packed, with a good half hour or longer wait. Nice that we can call ahead and avoid the lines! Steaks were cooked very well and to our desired specs. Fried pickles have great dill flavor and a nice, thin homemade batter on them rather than the typical, frozen pre-made variety. Overall our food was very good and the service was spectacular for a chain steakhouse! We were told by management that our particular server has his own regulars and that we just happened to get seated with him as he is usually booked up every time he works. Lucky us! He literally brought me 3 full glasses of iced tea to the table so that I would never run out LOL.

I used to work at this location back in 2005 so I'm a little partial. But I'm never partial on service. Good thing I haven't had any bad service here. As always the rolls and honey-cinnamon butter is addicting. I always get the half chicken or a steak. I'm picky so I always pick my own NY steak out. I'm also picky about my salad but they always get it right. Of course it's busy on the weekends which is why call ahead seating is great.

I love Texas Roadhouse. They make some of the best steaks I've ever had the pleasure of eating. This visit was no different. The food was so good I over stuffed myself. The one negative thing I will say is that as we were being seated the servers/hostesses were crowding the way and not one would identify themselves as the one we were to follow. Once our buzzer indicated we were to be seated a group of people looked at us like we were in their way. Basically confused. I guess on a weeknight it wouldn't be so bad, and fewer people would be working. . . I'm glad the food made up for the messy start to the evening.

Friendly staff and fast service. Food is OK. Ribs and pulled pork are average. I like the house salad it is cold and crisp. The $value is very good as they give you way more food you can eat with the bread and peanuts. The beer selection is limited. I used to love the beef ribs (verses pork) but they took them off the menu.

Texas Roadhouse you got me again. I usually go to the one in El Paso, however, I had to show the GF why I sound like I'm coming out of a (food) coma when she calls. Started off with the peanuts and rolls as all patrons get blessed with. Then conquered the chili fries the size of two plates...fine we'll share the Rib-eye combo deal. 12 oz slice of goodness with the caramelized onions blanketing the steak. Baked potato (of course with the WORKS!) and Caesar salad (the gf got nervous, even after all the pineapple vodkas). And of course I had to wash it down with the dark beer they have on tap (51/50 or something like that...ask for it...good). The service was perfect and right on time. This is a must go at least once type of place to give it a shot. Can't wait for visitors to come to have a reason to make a return trip.

For a chain, and a steak house, Texas Roadhouse is surprisingly good. I personally favor the ribs here over steaks. They are very tender, literally fall off the bone. The sauce isn't great, but it's good. There is never any fat on the ribs. The steaks are fresh, you can even choose your own from the butcher like area in the front. The sides are standard. The service is good. It's not a bad place at all. I've even taken friends from out of town here a time or two.

We are regulars here, and the three stars happened for two reasons. It was busy busy busy. Always a crowd near the door. But this time I sat within earshot of the hostess stand. My goodness, the girl with the board in her hand had very little nice to say about another hostess working. Carried on an easy to hear conversation with another hostess regarding a third hostess. The language was not flattering or ladylike. During my twenty minute wait I expected it to stop or a manager to pop up and stop it. Neither happened, happily we were seated as promised and our server was Johnny on the spot. Never been an issue with server attention, and that held true this time too. I'm pretty easy to please, just represent me in the kitchen and I'm happy. My steak arrived with that dry looking exterior that speaks of having been later some time ago. I think my wife's burger was what held it up, hers was actually almost too hot to eat (a good thing). Sever offered to replace it, but I declined. It should never have left the kitchen. Then the same little girl with a board walked past and made a snarky comment about a "lazy fat.." Fellow employee. Does anybody supervise these teenagers ? Anyway, manager came by to offer a sincere apology for the steak and to offer to make it up to me, I assured him I didn't need anything. In retrospect I should have mentioned the hostess thing, but it didn't impact me so I didn't. Then it bothered me more, teenage employees need to be supervised otherwise they act as if they are in the lunchroom at school. Half the job is wrangling customers, which he did very well. But the other half is keeping staff under supervision and control. And I saw none of that. Of course I will return, but I won't sit in earshot of the hostess area again. Always a solid value and experience in all other respects.

I've always gone to Outback for an affordable steak, but I've been missing out! We've been to Texas Roadhouse on two occasions and the service has been great both times. The steaks are always cooked to specification (and perfection) and seasoned better than Outback. Love the rolls! This location is always busy but the wait has never been very long.

I agree with everyone else that the service here is excellent! Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, without being annoying. However, the food needs some work. The BBQ chicken had great sauce, but was undercooked and I was pretty sure it was Tyson bulk chicken telling by its hormone-giant size. They should consider moving to treating their other meats how they treat their steaks.

I'm from Texas so I was thrilled to see one of my favorite restaurants here in Colorado. The food as always was wonderful. Steak cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. I'm especially partial to this Texas Roadhouse location because of a waiter I had, Dakota. He was absolutely amazing! So attentive and kind! Drinks were never low and he would take the extra time to make sure we had extra ranch and anything else we needed. If you go here ask for him and you won't be disappointed!

This place is how Outback and the other chains used to be. Great service, perfectly cooked steaks, yummy drinks, and good food specials for early birds. Ask for Calvin. He will take care of you:)

This place gave us the warmest welcome possible, and the service were excellent. Unfortunately, my reviews are still 80+% based on the food. The food was good. The prime rib was a bit funky. It had the texture of a typical prime rib, but it tasted like beef jerky. I'm not sure I expected prime rib to be altered like that. This wasn't described in the menu. Though I got used to the taste, I almost spit it out on the first bite. I also had a slice of the strip from my colleague. That steak, though very rare, was much tastier. So, it's probably just my fault for ordering prime rib in the first place. It may not be the best indication of the rest of their steaks.

Wow....I received the BEST service ever from our server Rich. He was friendly and on point with everything: bringing the appetizers promptly, refills, taking plates-EVERYTHING! Our bill was 30 bucks so I left him a $20 tip. That's how good the service was! He came back with a HUGE appreciative smile saying "Thank you" Made me feel all fuzzy inside :) I ordered the BBQ pork and hubby got Country fried steak.Delish. Onion rings for appetizer, the bread and cinnamon butter is always yummy. The sweet tea is perfect as well.

For what it is, it is good. However, last night something made me very ill. Approx 5 hours after eating there, I was soooo sick. I had 2 rolls, salad, sirloin, potato with butter and sour cream. I made it through the worst and now this morning, just exhausted. Who knows what would have caused this, but something it appears was tainted.

Went there on Mother's Day. Big mistake! In the future will always call in for reservation. We had to wait for 40 minutes. I think it is a good sign of a busy restaurant. We had a Mother's Day when I refuse to cook and College graduation when my daughter also refused to cook. We will have a separate graduation party for her next week. But on Sunday she was the Queen of the day and wanted to eat steak. I am not big on meat so I ordered grilled salmon. It was great. According to the rest of the company the steaks were also very good. The waiter was probably too overwhelmed because he brought only one drink instead of two, kept forgetting to bring steak sauce, we had 2 empty buckets on the table with no nuts. But he kept refilling our glasses with water and pop, brough additional buns to the table and was really nice. So far it was the loudest restaurant I've ever been to. My biggest memory of this visit are two African-American ladies in the most gorgeous, piece of art hats. I paid more attention to them than the food. This was first time for us at TR. Next time we will go when it is not a holiday and not on Sunday.

How can I put my experience at Texas Roadhouse...well... I wish there were 5 more stars to give this amazing establishment. My wife and I recently moved to Colorado and have had some mediocre experiences with restaurants in the Aurora area. This place will blow you away. Every employee is on top of their game from the host, the server and especially the manager Calvin. I cannot express the amount of attention we received from Calvin in every way. We are originally from Georgia (used to southern hospitality) but Calvin smoked any place we have even been to in Atlanta. Our server Andrew was super attentive and also on his A game. Service is a very important thing for us and they blew me away, and of course an excellent steak and an ice cold beer is always a nice touch. These folks have gained a regular for sure and I look forward to spending a lot of time there for football season...WAR EAGLE...highly recommended

I've been three times in the last few months and have had a great experience each time. The steak is great- cooked perfectly with great taste. The BBQ chicken was sweet and tender. The pulled pork is delicious. Service is good too. Yummy! Highly recommended!

This Texas Roadhouse is the one located on Illiff in Aurora near to I-225. I was at the Texas Roadhouse with Scott and another friend of ours. The food was perfect from the rolls when we sat down to the cesaer salad (which was crisp and had an excellent taste) to my steak which was cooked just to my specification - medium rare. The service .... AWESOME! Joy, our waitress, was EXCELLENT! Words just can't even describe how excellent she was. I agree 1000% with what Scott said in his post about her. We all usually tip 20% but tipped Joy between 40-50% because the service was just that GREAT! All of us ordered dinner meals. It was nice that the manager, Andy, came over to our table and asked about our food etc. We all sang praises for the food and most important for JOY, our waitress. Even on the way out, Andy stopped us and mentioned how nice it was to have us at Texas Roadhouse. We will all be visiting our local Texas Roadhouse again and look forward to Joy being our waitress! I don't usually like chain restaurants, but this place is excellent. I got the ribs and the meet just fell of the bone! They were the best ribs I've had in a long time! The prices are reasonable and huge portions so I had leftovers. The restaurant is always busy and they don't take reservations but they do take call ahead seating which I recommend.

Wow. I've been to Texas Roadhouse before in Houston, I had heard about the one here. But let me just say good food and GREAT service. Joy was the perfect blend of waitress - there when we needed her, out of the way when we were good and into our conversation. Friendly at every turn. Right on top of things. And Andy - the Manager? What a Hottie! Great smile and made us feel good to be there :) Scott

Excellent value! If you really want flavorful steak but don't want to splurge on price or fanciness, this is the place to go. Bring your friends, but be prepared to WAIT for a table because dinner time is always busy.

Just got into Aurora and saw Texas Roadhouse on Iliff. Not a big fan of chains, but the front desk recommended it due to proximity and me being tired. The service was great. Laid back, was able to get a nice tall beer, place an order at the bar and watch football on three screens in front of me. The bartender even changed a separate TV for CFL per another customers request. The roadhouse burger was cooked perfectly to order (medium) and was super tender. I highly recommend it, the price was low and will keep me well under Per Diem and full well into dinner!

I am disappointed in this place more then ever! I decided to come back because I had $6.00 left on my gift card. So at six, they had a 20 minute wait... I didn't have to wait that long since it was my mom and I. My usual was country fried sirloin and hand cut steaks but they have been off to say the least! So I saw that they had prime rib for a good price, can't go wrong right? WRONG! I ordered it with chili and seasoned rice as my sides... The rice was good but the chili wasn't hot. And I can honestly say it wasn't even warm... You know it's not warm if the cheese doesn't melt in the chili... And the prime rib was tad warmer, but far from hot! I asked the waiter to microwave it and he said prime rib is always that temp when medium rare... I have never had this problem at other restaurants but I'll let him feel smart... What really made me confused was how I got my change... After my gift card the total was $10.00... So when I gave him a twenty, he gave me two fives... Did he really expect me to tip 30% for terrible service and mediocre returned food?

I am not a big fan of country music or the country "redneck" lifestyle in general, but I will always put up with it for the amazing food at the Roadhouse! Great steaks, love the appetizers too. I had something called Rattlesnake Bites, a creative twist on jalapeno poppers, and they were fantastic! Always busy and crowded on Fridays and Saturdays, but well worth the wait.

I went there with my wife and kids and some friends. I called an hour ahead to make my reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes to get seated. I like the atmosphere there, but at the same time I had to listen to that damn birthday song five different times. Our waitress was very nice and courteous. Always had my drink filled. The ribs were perfect, the meat was falling off the bone. The wife and I shared a full rack and it was plenty of food for both of use. Overall the food was great but wait to be seated and the staff were kind of annoying.

  • Christi S.

Never disappointed in this place. There can be a rather long wait if you don't use the "call ahead" option, so I recommend it highly. Service is always great, salads are always crisp and cold, steaks cooked just as we order and my 5 year old never goes hungry!!! Can't beat it for a family or friend gathering!

This place has been enticing us for many years. Whenever we visit family in Colorado we see it and say we gotta try it. Well we finally did and it was a pleasant surprise. It's decor is like a barn in Texas, never been to Texas but I assume that's what its like. Anyways, we were seated in the bar area next to the 42 inch LCD showing football highlights and we were asked for our drink order quickly. We then proceeded to look over the menu and found it had too many dang choices. We decided to share an entree and order an appetizer. The buffalo wings were pretty awesome, we even axed for extra hot sauce. We also ordered the pulled pork and ribs, they were good too although they needed some more bbq sauce. The service was good but the wait between appetizer and entree did take a long time. Oh we also tried the chili and that was very good too. I would like to try this place again and order a steak, the 18 oz. T-bone was only $19.99! One weird incident occurred at the bar, the manager and two customers were arguing loudly about an incorrect call-in order. It was rather distracting and the manager seemed unprofessional about the whole ordeal.
