A new find! Best Pad Thai ever! This little gem of a place was first stumbled upon by searching on Yelp for a "Thai" place in Aurora. The people working there are so extremely kind. They made us feel so welcome, as though they'd been waiting for us to join them for a long time. When we left, it felt like we were already old friends. The Pad Thai with shrimp was amazing. The jumbo shrimp were tender and very tasty. I hope to return VERY soon to this wonderful place! BTW, I usually judge Thai restaurants by their Pad Thai and then I order other things too. This place ranks number 1 in my book.

By far the best Thai food I've eaten outside of Thailand. Seriously, I use Yelp to find good Thai food whenever I'm visiting a city and this beats anything I've eaten in New York or London. The owners are both so warm and welcoming, too. We dined with our two year old twins and the husband entertained them while the wife cooked an amazing meal. She even gave the twins a big Easter bunny as a present. Don't let the decor put you off. This restaurant has amazing service and amazing food!

I just went here recently with friendson a cool winter day and am so happy to have found such a great place for what feels like homemade Thai food. I had the Panang Curry. It was very tasty and spicy. I ordered it medium spicy and that was plenty hot for me. It was served with a mound of rice in the shape of a heart. Two of my friends ordered the Red Curry that was actually kind of yellowish in color but also quite spicy (ordered hot). The fourth person ordered the Drunken Noodles which she orders every time. I tasted all these and now am looking forward to ordering these dishes myself in the future. Yes, the location is not great but just go there and know that the food is the main draw not the location.

My husband and I went to this place with a gift certificate... when we got there, they told us the certificate was expired. The certificate was $25 off of a $35 purchase, valid for dine-in only, and clearly said DOES NOT EXPIRE. I even got home and called Restaurant.com (where I got the certificate from, and they informed me that Sue of Siam was no longer in their program, but are still required to honor the certificate THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR). The man who served us was nice enough, but the woman in the kitchen (who I assume is the owner) was yelling up a storm when we tried to explain to her that the certificate clearly says it doesn't expire. It was awful service... the food isn't expensive, but I refuse to go back based on principle alone. It's as if they lured us to the restuarant with hope of using our gift certificate, and then denied us what we had already paid for. Pros: - Delicious Thai Iced Tea Cons: - Horrendous service - Misleading, and dishonest - Looks like it's in a shadier area of town, and the restaurant itself isn't very "nice"... definitely not date-worthy... and I definitely wouldn't wear anything fancy-- you'll stick out like a sore thumb. - I can't really comment on the food since we didn't get to eat it, but I certainly wouldn't go back there. DO NOT TAKE YOUR RESTAURANT.COM CERTIFICATE TO THIS PLACE!

This Thai restaurant is under new management and the ambiance has been upgraded... Generous and tasty portions. Thai food should be cooked by Thai people and this place delivers. Definitely going back to check out the pad thai & pad se yew.

A friend of mine and I came to check this place out and we had wonderful customer service! The young owner was extremely kind and made sure we had everything we needed and she even gave us two extra bowls of rice. I ordered the Pab Ka-Prao which was delicious! I am definitely coming back to try their curry. Extremely friendly staff and great food. Highly recommended.

So, yet another boring Friday at school where we sit in class for a solid 4 hours and basically starve ourselves to death while the drone of lecturing continues. It seems to be the situation that when we have a good 1 1/2-2 hours, the prevailing attitude in my class is to head over to BJ's Brewery for some supposedly delicious comestibles. Luckily, the last couple of times they've been over there, my friends haven't had the best of experience w/service. During lunch, I Yelped the local area and came upon Sue of Siam. As luck has it, one of my friends frequents the place on the weekends and recommended it. It is definitely in a difficult to find location and is a small restaurant. We were greeted by a nice old man and were given the lunch menu - I opted for the Kao Pad Kee Mao w/tofu - essentially jasmine rice sauteed w/eggs, bell peppers, onions, basil, and spicy chili. It wasn't as spicy as I like, but that's what the lazy Susan w/all the wonderful spices are for. The dish was great and the portion size was a good size for lunch. The lunch also came w/a cup of Tom Yum soup which was okay. I would have rather had the Tom Kha soup which has a coconut broth. It was nice to see, I'm guessing it was her, Suni cooking the food in the back as everyone has said before. I will definitely be coming back to this charming little restaurant.

I came here with a friend who has been raving about this place for weeks. I ordered the spring rolls that, according to the menu, had rice noodles and vegetables with a peanut sauce. I asked if they had cilantro in them. 'I don't think so,' she said. 'Okay,' I replied, 'Because I hate cilantro.' They came out, and not only were they packed with cilantro, they had chicken and shrimp in them, which are not vegetables. I picked the wads of cilantro out and begrudgingly ate my two pieces as the waitress watched and apologised. I don't eat chicken but find wasting it even more repulsive. If there is anything besides noodles and veggies in it, the menu should say so. For the main dish, we both ordered the drunken noodles--his with shrimp and mine with seafood. They came out, and the portions were huge! But as soon as I dug in, I noticed that the 'noodles' were just crumbled pieces of noodle. The longest piece I had was just over an inch long, and they were super duper greasy. The seafood was overcooked and, to my horror, there was a piece of hair wound around a piece of my squid. I had eaten about half a dozen bites by the time I found the hair, but when my replacement order was brought out (just as my friend was finishing up his meal), it was about half the size of the original order. We were never asked if we wanted dessert. I had been considering the mango and sticky rice, but my appetite was gone by then. We had to go grab the check ourselves. I took over half of my half-order home because the whole experience made me not want to eat anymore. I never ended up finishing it. I am giving this place two stars only because it makes my dear friend, whose daily cuisine consists of canned refried beans, happy. And because my bottom-heavy review graph was starting to give me a complex.

What an amazing diamond in the rough. Went with a large party, they were very accommodating. The food was amazing, the Tom Kha soup, red curry, Larb, every dish we ordered was fantastic. I live 40 minutes away from here and will definitely be back. It's worth it.

Three and a half stars for this little Thai place, kind of out of the way unless you know you're looking for it. It also goes by the name Ban-Thai, so you might see that. I've tried four different things here and been pretty pleased with each of them. Obviously they have the usual noodle dishes that I enjoy, as well as curries and stir-fries. It's a pretty standard menu, though they do have a couple of more unusual dishes. Everything is offered at mild/medium/hot spice levels, so you can pick that for any dish, which for Thai food is generally a good idea. You get an egg roll with your lunch, though I preferred the soup you used to get a while ago. They're closed on Mondays, and only open until 8 pm all other days, but that's ok since it's a lunch place pretty close to my work. Service is friendly, though it's a small kitchen, so if you are very short on time this might not be the best pick. But if you are in the mood for Thai and are in the area, you'll find this to be a good place.

Crazily enough, this place has the best Pad Thai I've ever had. I can't say about anything else, but this place is the bomb if you want a good Pad Thai.

A friend of mine discovered this gem which is a family owned and run traditional Thai restaurant. It's off the main drag so it' s not heavily visited which means you will receive amazing personalized service by Suni and her husband and will be prepared beautiful tasty dishes by Sue, the chef. They serve traditional Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee which are special treats I like to indulge in. Last time I was in Suni asked if we had ever had the ground papaya salad and when my tablemates and I all said "No" she gave us the one Sue had prepared for her lunch and insisted we all sample some! Definitely a wonderful experience in hospitality and cuisine. Stop in and try the Drunken Noodles, Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, or Papaya Salad. Tell Suni I said SAWATDI KA!

Boy, I always struggle with giving a 3 star rating. I'm a love it or hate it kind of gal -- but trusting Yelp's "A-OK" definition I think 3 stars works here. I had my second lunch at Sue of Siam today. The food is flavorful and the menu matches many of the more traditional Thai places I've seen around town (more than just Pad Thai and a curry). But I still feel like it's missing a little something, I can't quite put my finger on it, but here are two possibilities: Portion Size - The first trip I ordered from the lunch special menu and left feeling still a little hungry. Today, I opted for a standard entree (which is one buck more) but it seemed like the portion size was still the same. That's not to say I expect enough food for two people and to walk away feeling stuffed, but I do expect feel satisfied at the end of the meal. The Depth of Flavor - no doubt the curry and the sauce on the Pad Ka Pow are flavorful. Just the right spice and good enough that I'm happy to eat it like a soup. But I'm missing the flavor of the individual ingredients -- the Thai Basil, the beef, the onion, etc. It almost seems like the individual ingredients are steamed or boiled and then the sauce is added to provide the flavor. This is different from some of my favorite Thai where you feel like the meat and vegetables are adequately seasoned to enjoy with or without the sauce. And again, this is why I don't like giving a 3-star rating -- I've given some things to be wary of, but I wouldn't tell someone to avoid this restaurant. I will continue to visit this place for lunch on occasion, but I can't say I'm counting the days. All in all, I guess I can safely call my visits "A-Ok"

Here is a great little gem off the beaten path in Aurora. Fortunately, it is located next door to Lek's Asian Market ( yelp.com/biz/leks-asian-… ), creating a little Thai synergy. We stopped by this joint on our way to Lek's and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The papaya salad (som tum) was a hit, while the drunken noodles were only a "pretty good." What sets sue apart is the availability of a thai condiments, your very own "lazy susan" filled with crushed chillies, ground peanuts, chilli paste, siracha (aka-hot cock sauce), chillies in vinegar, and, of course, fish sauce.

I didn't think we would find a Thai restaurant in Aurora but after browsing the Internet we found this place. Although, It was snowing like crazy we were craving Thai food. I'm glad we found this hidden restaurant. The tom yum kai soup was really good. The pat-thai was also good. This is a cute little mom & pop restaurant. Give them a try... They are friendly people. The man even cleared the snow off the side walk for us.

Well, the place has been sold yet again, and the new owner has added Ban Thai to the name and completely revamped the menu. Kind of a tradeoff-- lunches aren't quite as cheap, but the menu is much more extensive, and they explicitly offer delivery within a 3-mile radius. Also, they use the Thai eggplant in the green curry. Yum! Bottom line: still good food, still nice folks, still inexpensive.

I have been craving pad thai for a very long time, and it seems the days when I'm really itching for it, it's a Sunday or Monday when my favorite take-out place is closed. I've heard good things about Sue of Siam, so I decided to give it a shot... I was disappointed. The chicken was so dry that it was difficult to chew and swallow without drinking i down with water... almost like eating jerky, except not nearly as good. The pad thai noodles were so dry they were all stuck together so i couldn't even eat it with chopsticks... I had to cut the noodles apart with the side of my fork! The only good things I have to say about this place is that the service was very quick, and the girl working the register was very friendly. I will definitely have to suck it up and wait til Tuesday when my go-to thai place is open again.

Really cute place hole-in the wall. Nothing fancy, but really clean. Good sized portions, good prices, super sweet owners. It's really difficult to find even passable Thai in the Denver area. Really happy to find a fresh and delicious gem.

This place is amazing! ONE OF THE BEST THAI PLACES IN DENVER! Background: It's a family owned and ran business that serves authentic Thai food. The out side of the restaurant is not an eye pleaser, and when you walk into the restaurant you continue to question if you made the right decision, and if this if the place that yelp has given good reviews! The inside is very small with 5 tables. Not ideal for any group larger than 4 people. I have come here many times, and dined in as well as take out. Dining in experience: the owner (presumably the husband) is very nice and welcoming, along with the chef (presumably the wife). The husband runs the front of the restaurant and the wife runs the back. Upon sitting, the husband brought waters and had the up most courteous and refreshing customer service. During my meal, he checked up on our table with the perfect frequency, and offered any and all condiments for the food. The wife even checked on us towards the end, which is nice to actually meet the person who cooked your food. The food: my favorite dish is the pad Thai (shrimp and beef) extra spicy. For me, it has the perfect burn for my taste buds, yet a very slight and sweet undertone for my taste. The serving is generous, and the never skimp on the meats, like some restaurants do. I also enjoy the Thai fried rice (shrimp and beef) extra spicy. The rice is perfectly soft, and not hard or crunchy. It has a dry seasoning to it, which I really enjoy compared to the more oily/wet fried rice that I have experienced at other places. Portions are still generous and meat content is perfect. I also enjoy the basil fried rice (shrimp and beef) extra spicy, for the exact same reasons I have mentioned above. The pros: this restaurant is consistent with taste, flavor, and portions. The ambience is very casual, and I suppose, gives an authentic Thai feeling. The owners are very humble and sweet, and give off a "come eat at grandma's house" type feeling. The cons: I haven't found any.

I have been hooked on Thai food for the last few months, and decided to try some place new! My partner and I went in around 6:00pm and there were no other customers. (The rush actually started around 6:15pm-6:30pm.) We ordered the tofu Pad Thai and tofu Drunken Noodle. They were both on the sweeter side (as we got mild+), but we still enjoyed it. We added some chili powder, which made it a bit better! The flat noodles in the drunken noodles seemed undercooked. (?) They were very chewy and stuck together in big globs. It also smelled a bit medicinal when we had it, but was still pretty tasty. The Pad Thai was better than the drunken noodle overall (in my opinion), a bit sweet, but more thoroughly cooked than the drunken noodle. We also added a bit of chili powder to this one and ended up finishing it, and taking the rest of the drunken noodle home. The space inside isn't very large -- there are around 5/6 tables. And, there is one man waiting the tables. He seemed like a kind man! The service was quick and our food was prepared in about 10 minutes. I may be back to try one of the curries here, if ever I'm in the area!

Good and authentic Thai food cooked simply but a little on the pricey side if you want various proteins in your noodles/rice. The both of us ordered take out with 4 items total and 2 Thai iced teas. $48 dollars. The owner was nice enough to refill our drinks while we were waiting for our food.

Truly authentic Thai food in a quaint, charming atmosphere. Service could be improved (they're incredibly polite, but they get overwhelmed and seem understaffed).

Truly a hole-in-the-wall little restaurant. I've only been here for lunch, but both times the restaurant has been pretty busy. There are only five tables and the owner (I presume) waits on all these tables, so service can be slow. The food itself is great, though I thought the pad thai was a little too sweet. The curry and fried rices are delicious. The owner and staff are very friendly, and it's very clear from the restaurant decor that they want you to feel welcome and cozy.

We used to come here a lot when we used to live on this side of town. A lot has changed and it's their pineapple fried rice recipe. I don't know why they changed it for. It WAS the best pineapple fried rice I have ever had.. Ever. But they completely changed it. It's now extra bland and literally no bold taste to it like before (even all my friends who I've introduced this place to, have all agreed on bad recipe changes). I recently went there to give it another try but it was another disappointment. It's not worth the drive anymore. Change it back- I should have a riot just for this. That's how amazing it used to be.

Friday May 30th 2014. Came here with my friend who is visiting from TX. We came in for a very very late Lunch. Time was about 14:00hrs. The cut off time of Lunch at this tiny establishment is at 14:30hrs. Thankfully we managed to "squeeze" and get that Lunch hour pricing. The service is prompt and efficient. We ordered the following items from the Menu : * Egg Roll ($2.50) * Fish Cake ($5.95) * Chicken Green Curry ($7.95) * Shrimp Pad See Eew ($8.95) The order came out at the timely manner. The Egg Roll and Fish Cake came out piping hot. The Dipping Sauce from the Fish Cake is indeed intriduging and full of Flavor. It also comes with Fried Basil Thai Leaves. My friend like what we ordered. As for Lunch portion, personally its a little to skimpy for my liking. I specifically requested my Pad See Eew, THAI HOT but it came out NOT as SPICY I was hoping for. *SIGH* Yes its greasy goodness. The amount of Shrimp is doable though I don't mind paying more for Lunch and BIGGER Portion... Oh Well.. As for the Chicken Green Curry, yes it Green Curry with Slices of Chicken with Green Beans and tonnes of Bamboo Shoots. Its doable for my taste bud, but it DOES NOT Wow me as much. *DOUBLE SIGH* All in all it was OK, nothing stellar nothing fancy... I may return just for the fish cake though. Perhaps its already after Lunch hours, we were the ONLY Patrons dining in there. Sue Of Siam by Thai Thai 106 Del Mar Circle Aurora, CO 80011 Tel : (720)-949-1980 Tel : (720)-648-5954 @117/2014

Absolute knock out thai! This place looks a bit daunting when you drive up but do not let that scare you away! When you taste the food you will be amazed! Starting off we ordered the egg roles, while they tasted good there was nothing special to them! Next came the pad see ew (2.5) - this was amazing! The beef was cooked perfectly and the noodles were nice and crispy in areas but still sticky and soft in others! I was surprised by how it was NOT greasy! Yummy! As others said said the Tom Yum soup was sour but it kept me going back for more! And finally the Panang Curry (1)was phenomenal! Perfect balance of sweetness and spicy mixed with that amazing basil! Mmm makes me want to go back just writing this! Do your self a favor and GO! Just for reference there spice system seemed to be a little light so maybe go up a star!

A good restaurant is more than just about taste. It's about ambiance, professionalism, presentation, attitude, etc. This cute little spot has them all in spades. First, when you pull up to the store front, it is quite small in stature. That only adds to the charm that you will find inside. This is truly a 'mom & pop' shop. The owner greeted us quickly with a smile, and we grabbed a small, clean table by the front. Upon telling him that I had not been in before, he expertly navigated me though the different food options, and made a handful of suggestions, based on whether I liked spicy, sweet, etc. We ordered a couple of lunch entrees, and as we waited for them, the owner brought over a couple of eggrolls, on the house! They were some of the best I've had - perfectly crispy outside, but a remarkably light, non-greasy interior. The dish I ordered had a name I was not familiar with, but I think it was #703. Right amount of spicy, salty, and yummy. This is a gem of a spot, and the prices are very affordable.

All the curries are so good. I started going to the fancy side, but the green and red curries are such a relief from the bland recipes of other restaurants. Try the Koman Peebs for an appetizer!

Nice place. Very clean very colorful. Very friendly staff. Reasonably priced. I had the chicken satay which was really good. I also had the pad Thai which was okay. My wife had the drunken noodles again it was just okay. I would recommend this place if you want to do Thai on a budget.

Staff was super friendly and the food tasted authentic. We had to get it to go and travel a bit so I am sure that took a bit away from the flavor and texture of the Pad Thai noodles. Check it out. They have a different lunch special every weekday.

It's been a long while since I've been here and looks like it's under new management. We've ordered plenty of dishes and only 2 came out tasting ok. We were a little disappointed that the food is not as authentic as it used to be. Our beef Salad came out to be really dry (the beef). Papaya salad was ok except it tasted like the papaya was a little riped. The Rad Nar- again beef was dry. The only 2 dishes that came out good was the beef Larb and the Panang Curry. Besides the food, the people were nice! --SamAnTha

While we did not find it outstanding, this is a fine Thai restaurant. The place has a very "hole in the wall" feeling, which is generally a good thing for us. The server (who seemed like an owner as well) was very kind and helpful. The service was a little slow, but we were also a larger party (7). Biggest let down for us was the food. To be clear, it wasn't bad, but all dishes were overly sweet for our taste and portion sizes were slightly small for the price. Overall, it's a fine choice, but we have found better in town.

Tom yum was top rate. Full of flavor and fresh ingredients, it was a great start to the meal. The rad nar was a partial miss, in my book. The flavors were mostly there, but the noodles were not pan scorched like they should be with rad nar and instead were gloppy and clung together. Serving sizes are generous, especially for the price. The place is the size of a postage stamp and nothing to really look at, but that gives it a certain charm -oddly enough.

While visiting some friends in Denver they took us to Sue of Siam. Our friend is from Thailand and this is her go to place. What it lacks in location it more than makes up for with food and service. We loved everything from the fried tofu and the fish cakes to the spicy green curry chicken. Service was great and prices were fair. We also enjoyed some desserts made in house as well, the coconut ice cream was the perfect ending! Don't let the location or building fool you, this place is a must! Thanks Tom & Jutathip

Sue of Siam is a hidden gem that when seeing it from the curb, one would never guess that this family owned restaurant is amazing!! My bf and I have been here about a dozen times now and it's the only Thai restaurant that we will go to in Colorado. After trying so many Thai restaurants when we moved here from Hawaii, we were almost going to give up and just stick to other Asian foods since none compared to back home; however, we've found Sue of Siam and are so so happy!! We always get either the panang or mussaman curry with chicken (soooo good!). We also order the pad see ew noodles with chicken and my absolute favorite is the crispy pork fried rice - we get the rice without veggies but everything else straight off the menu. Their food is soooooo good!!! Very flavorful and we love the Thai flavors. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are well suited. They even have delivery available which we've also done before and they're great about that too. This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Colorado, we love it!!

Came here on a Friday night - this is a classic 'don't judge the book by its cover' spot as it doesn't look like much and is in a pretty random location. But great Thai food - lots of flavors and fresh ingredients. Started w papaya salad that had a great kick and chicken satay where the flavor the meat really stood up on its own. Had an excellent pad see ew with nice spice and then pad ka-prow with prawns and green beans. The owner served us and was really nice, overall a great experience, highly recommend.

Taste Central. What a surprise - this little hidden place in Aurora is solid good Thai food. I almost don't want to give the secret spot away. If you happen to find yourself in this neck of the woods it's totally worth a drop-in. Had me the Pad Thai for lunch and it was all I hoped it would be. A colleague had the panang curry and said it was fantastic. Real flavor, great portion sizes and all for not too many monies. That means it's inexpensive and worth a ton in the taste department. It's a vibrant menu for sure! The seating is very limited but man it's bursting with color! The walls are purple, the chairs are vibrant and fun. I really dig the purple and white bar stools that are perched at the front. Yay for fun! I also really liked that they had a mini-bar at the front with juices and what not. We felt very welcomed by the friendly service with a smile. It's a total gem tucked back behind a strip mall. The best things in life are hard to find.

Food: 3 Service: 5 A hole-in-the-wall, authentic Thai food place is a place to be tried. This is how we did it. Graduation lunch. Six adults. Six different dishes. Family style. It was pretty much the best decision we ever made. The service was excellent and the owners were so, so friendly. They gave us complimentary goodies because they knew there were two med school graduates in the group. The food was good, except that everything was a tiny bit too sweet: the Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Green curry, Paang curry, and the fried rice. Tasty but a tad bit too sweet. I wish the vegetarian spring rolls had a little bit more veggies (looked like lettuce, bean sprouts, cucumbers, and tofu only) like cilantro and carrots(?). The Thai Iced Cream is pretty much sugar in iced form (if that's how you like your ice cream); the green tea mochi was good, but I'd ask for it without the whip cream the next time. The thai iced tea is sweet (as it usually is) and the thai iced coffee reminds me of the bottled Starbucks frappuccino coffee drinks: sugar, with coffee taste. If I were in this area of town, I'd return... mostly because I love thai food and also because the owners were so kind, and I'd ask for them to prepare the food with a little less sugar.

The holeiest of the hole in the wall. Have only tried their massanam curry, which was fantastic, and their pad thai, which was good as well. They have curry specials all the time, great little spot for lunch! And seriously... if you have never had massanam curry and don't know what it is... get with the program! Potatoes and curry were basically made to go together. One final note to fans of Thai food... this place's medium is actually medium, so go hotter if you're expecting a Thai "medium"

Mid evening dinner--family owned and operated Thai restaurant that welcomes you with a smile and plenty of options if what you ordered ran out! Vegetarian options are limitless here and the environment is kid friendly (if your kid is into spicy food).

This place is amazing! Regularly eat here...the food is very well prepared, and super flavorful. I seriously haven't eaten anything on their menu that wasn't fantastic...very polite, courteous people who care about their customers. If u like thai food, check em out...bet u can't not come back! What a hidden gem! Went there with a group of about 14+ friends and we ordered family style so it was a great way to try a little of everything. The person who arranged the outing to this restaurant was Thai herself and had spoken to the chefs prior to making some things not on the menu. So, it felt special. The couple that owns the restaurant gave wonderful service as well!

The pineapple fried rice was good but far from the best I've had. My husband wasn't a big fan of the red curry. The place was clean and adorably decorated. The staff were friendly and for these things I will be back.

Yes, yes, yes. I figured this place would be good but had no idea. I pulled up to the front and, just as the others had warned, didn't think too much of the front. Inside, I heard a distant and cheery hello but couldn't see anyone. Then Sue stepped out from behind the kitchen and asked if I'd like some tea, water, Thai tea. It was like coming home and having mom scurry out to say hello - so cute! And then there was the food! I ordered the beef salad and pad ka prow with chicken. For context, I've had Thai food all over the U.S. and overseas (though never in Thailand - how ironic!) I even make Thai food. This was truly some of the best I've ever had. After I had finished my meal, Sue described in detail her Mom's recipes, the careful roasting of chilis, homemade pastes, she even brought out a bag of basil to my table to show me the kind I should use for ka prow when I make it at home (I've been using purple basil.) She is so cute and so gracious. I would support her restaurant several times a week if I lived in Denver. Anyhow, the beef in the salad was so tender (every single piece), lots of veggies, perfect dressing, and a surprise of peanuts. The ka prow was like none I've ever had before and it's hard to describe. Such a unique, rich sauce. And so spicy! I usually wipe out the spice trays, but here the medium was true heat. I love that! Thai food the way it's supposed to be. The dish also had tons of basil and little mushrooms and green beans. A nice touch. My only complaint is that my hot dish came before I had eaten much of my salad. I would have liked a bit more time to enjoy that delicious food, but given the entire experience, I just brushed it off. I love this place and would say you're crazy not to give it a try.

Venue: hole in the wall, not my favorite scenery...but decent. Service: EXCELLENT. Family is super nice and warming Food: delicious! I had the sesame chicken and fried rice. Hubs Had the cashew chicken and jasmine rice. Delicious. My sesame chicken was crunchy and tossed in sauce. Everything is so fresh! Cooked to order!! I also had delicious Thai Iced Tea....so freaking good!! Check this place out!

Having gotten to know the owners I am always pleased by their food,.... Part of it is I really like these people but as always it is about the FOOD, they deliver on the food portion as well. so far not a single bad meal.

Order delivery. Was prompt and still hot. Food was delish. Best Thai food I've had yet in this city. Pad Thai is amazing...Tom kah Kai was fantastic & spring rolls were awesome as well.

Great take out with small in restaurant dining available. This is our favorite take out restaurant in the Del Mar Circle area. We eat here multiple times a month, and have never had a bad meal. The food is excellent and the owners are very friendly. I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area who enjoys authentic Thai food.

My friend and I came here for a quick lunch in the late afternoon. The place was empty but the lady working was really sweet. I ordered the spicy fried rice and my friend got the garlic soft shell crab. Luckily she shared with me. The crab was so good! Perfectly seasoned and so tasty! It was only $8 for a plate of 3-4. Just thinking about that crab makes me want to go back.... Their menu is small and their building is kind of hidden so I wonder how much business they get. It's worth it though! Go in for a visit and support this family owned business :)

The food was good, but they all seemed a little too sweet for me. It seems like a nice little mom and pop restaurant with not much room for seating. Our server was very nice and did everything with a genuine smile. I ordered the Pad Sew Ew and my girlfriend ordered the green curry. We also ordered the Chicken Larb as an appetizer to share between the both of us. All three dishes were pretty solid, but they each seemed a little sweet to us. The chicken larb was good in my opinion as was the pad sew ew, but i felt the green curry was overly sweet. Also, our dishes came out about 5 minutes apart from each other, which wasn't too big of a deal as we often share our plates or do family style from time to time. I don't know if that's how it usually is but I've noticed it was consistent with the other patrons as well. Overall, I've been to worse Thai food places but I've also been to better. For me Sue of Siam deserves a solid 3.

This is the best Asian restaurant in Denver, hands down. Foods is superb as is the service. I have lived all over the US and been to Thailand twice and I would say that Sue of Siam is at least as good as Thailand and just delicious. Denver has a pretty abysmal food scene and this is a stand out gem in the city. Even better, the owner is extremely friendly and kind- I have catered from them multiple times.

I tried Sue of Siam based off of the positive reviews but was ultimately disappointed. Everything was overly sweet and laden with sauce, especially the drunken noodles. Furthermore, my Grubhub order was not even remotely ready close to the promised time.

I came in for lunch to try the drunken noodles after seeing the reviews. They did not disappoint at all! Food and service beyond amazing. This is my new go to place for my Thai fix.

The food was flavorful had enough oil in it like my mom makes. The curry had along of meat , it's not one of those places that skimps on protein. She told me she can work with any allergy and is gluten free. The thai tea was bomb ! And it was fast. The owner is extremely nice and actually is Chinese that moved to Thailand. I wished they were opened on Mondays but oh well I'll go tomorrow.

One of the best Thai Restaurants in Denver! Being Thai his truly is like home cooking for me personally. Not only is the food delicious but the service is outstanding. Even though it's a small establishment I would like for them to be busier. Maybe it's because of the location but they can compete with the best in Denver. We've tried just about every thing there and you can't go wrong. The drunken noodles with shrimp and extra basil is my go to! Please give the little place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Found this hidden gem on Yelp while driving by. Stopped in and got the green curry. It was special, people. The Thai couple that own this joint are super nice and so appreciative of business. The inside is comfortable and homey. Definitely worth the drive from wherever for authentic, affordable, delicious Thai food.

We had beef drunken noodles..was the perfect blend of sweet & sour, fish cakes...crispy and delicious, shrimp fried rice...seasoning was good, shrimp were not marinated but was fresh, Panang curry was slightly on the sweeter side (prob because we didn't want too much spice). Food came out pretty quick but as more people came think it got slower. (Think there were 2 ppl running the whole place)

Food was very good. Had to keep looking for our waitress though to refill out waters. Not a big seating area, so not many customers at one time. Three of us at our table & they would only bring 1 appetizer or 1 meal at a time. Took quite a while to get all of our orders on the table so that we could eat together.

I came here with my wife on a Sunday evening. Between the two of us, we ordered the Massaman Curry, Tom Yum soup, and Thai Iced Tea. Every single bite, sip and slurp was incredible. I highly recommend the food without hesitation. Potential downsides: wait staff was friendly but not too attentive (though we dined at a slow time.) The location is a bit sketchy, but my wife described the interior as "very cute." Summary: Don't expect fine dining here - expect great food.

Tom kha soup was pretty good--nice mix of coconut and slightly sour flavors. In addition, we ordered drunken noodles, street noodles and papaya salad. Unfortunately, the dishes were just okay. The drunken noodles dish was pretty sweet, when I thought it'd be more savory. The papaya salad was also lacking flavor--it was made fresh, but lacked the flavor and kick that I usually taste when papaya sits in the juices for a little bit and takes up the flavor. The service was great though, attentive but not too attentive.

I've had food from here twice. Once with my family (dine in) and once with take out. The first time was great! We ordered about half the menu and everyone thought it was great. I especially loved the fried tofu with the sweet dipping sauce and the fish cake appetizer. The papaya salad was nice and refreshing. My mom had the Lard Nar with tofu and it was so good. We all agreed that was one of the best dishes. The second time I had food here (with takeout), I was torn. The portions were very small (much smaller than dine in) and the tom yum soup was way too salty and there were still large chunks of ginger and stringy lemongrass in the soup that you have to fish out between bites. My husband ordered the Thai garlic beef and the beef was too dry. I will definately give them another try because maybe they were having and off day with the takeout. Overall, this is a small hole in the wall, very friendly, family owned restaurant. The food is very well priced and it is more authentic than most Thai places. I would have given them 4 stars for my first experience and 2 stars for my second so I averaged it all out to three stars.

Best Thai food I've had in this hemisphere. Sue is incredibly sweet, and the food was spiced just right and filled with wonderful, complex flavors. Nothing was oily or heavy; the spring rolls sauce was amazing. The papaya salad and the drunken noodles are not to be missed. INCREDIBLE meal for vegetarians, but has tons of options.

Outside looks scary, but inside is bright. Owner is very friendly. It seems like a family restaurant. They are Thai. I thought the food should be authentic, but not so much. Too sweet for my taste! It's American Thai food.

My Thai food credentials come from growing up in Los Angeles and spending about 4 months in Thailand. It's not the easiest to find comparable Thai food in Denver, but this place is as authentic as it gets. And reasonably priced too. We've been here a few times, and it's always satisfied. We've had the Green Papaya Salad, the Panang Curry, and the Pad Thai. All very nice. The Iced Teas come in gigantic glasses, which is awesome, because who doesn't like Thai Iced Tea? The owners are so sweet and friendly.

Authentic, not oily, not your typical rainbow curry joint. The food was fresh and delicious. We tried the noodle soup bowl- Kuay Tiew Nam, Penang curry, Larb and Fish Cakes and everything was wonderful. We will definitely come here again when in the Denver area.

Best Pad Thai in Denver by Thai standard. Very Authentic, flavourful and delicious. You wont be disappoint here. Chef Ying will prepare your food as dietary request. I am Vegan and she happily make it without fish sauce and make sure it is still delicious. Wonderful hospitality and warm welcoming place. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for authentic thai food.

Blink and you'll miss the location but it's worth turning around for! The family that runs it was so kind to us we felt like we were at their house having dinner! Fantastic spring rolls and a freebie (couldn't tell you what it was) that they brought out for us were fantastic. We felt very welcome. The food was awesome and keep us coming back. Support small business, guys!

Finally, real Thai food in Denver. I spent about 4 months in Thailand, and about 6 years in the great food city of San Francisco. Upon moving to Denver, I was pleased with the overall variety and quality of international food with a few exceptions -- most immediately, its Thai representation. Our order: Green Papaya Salad Panang Curry The owner explained to us that he is changing the menu from the previous owner's, one recipe at a time. He pointed out a recent change to the Panang curry, that we happened to order. It was excellent. Very rich. He recommended on our next visit to try the fried fish, which we will. He is a kind and personable man with a great vision for the direction of his restaurant. Come and support good Thai food in the Denver area.

We like that this is family run and local. We've had a few types of dishes, but for some reason they're not always consistent. I've been here 6-10 times, and for the most part, the dishes are either too salty or too sweet, and there's not a lot of vegetable options.

Real Thai food, real Thai spirit, full of love and happiness. Not American style, not Chinese version; real, authentic knock your socks off delicious Thai food. You will leave happy, full, and with new friends and a new favorite place to go.

Went in today w/ some friends, it was my second time. Delicious, their spicy basil fried rice was delicious. Pineapple fried rice was good. Owned and run by an older couple, and sort of hidden on Del Mar, off of Peoria. I will definitely support this small local business. They certainly get their flavors right. Best Thai place near Stapleton, hands down. The wait for food may depend on how busy they are since it's just a couple that runs it, and it's a small place. Seats about 30 people max in the establishment. They are closed on Mondays.

Hidden gem! Good, authentic, fresh food. The favors were amazing (we had the pad see ewe and panang curry). Portions are just right. Nice, friendly staff. A must try, don't let the "hole-in-the-wall" appearance dissuade you. We will definitely be back.

Wow! Coming from Silicon Valley, where high-quality Thai food places are everywhere, this out-of-the-way place in Aurora is a delight. The husband and wife owners are very attentive and friendly and the food is wonderful. It doesn't get any better than this.

Pad Thai was not loaded with sauce like other places in the area. The noodles were somewhat dry but very tasty. Shrimp as a meat cost extra but it's jumbo and peeled. Good food at a good price.

This place is like a hidden gem. When we came in, we were seated right away. We ordered our food (BF ordered the drunken noodles and I had the panang curry) and was pleasantly surprised with free eggrolls! Also, their Thai Iced Tea comes in just about the biggest glass/serving I've ever seen! The size of their Thai Tea alone is worthy of a star! The panang curry was great and flavorful, but the drunken noodles were mediocre. I would definitely recommend this place for its great service and food.

This is the kind of place that Yelp was made for - a nondescript restaurant in a nondescript neighborhood serving AMAZING food. I have traveled to Thailand several times, and the food here is the real deal. Loved the papaya salad and the chicken satay (I asked my husband if it would be a faux pas to drink the peanut sauce from the bowl). The pad thai was a little too sweet for me, but my husband loved it. I just prefer my pad thai a bit more fish sauce-y. The owners are a lovely family and service was fast and friendly. If I am ever in Denver again I will come here again. Thanks Yelp!

Everything you would want from a family Thai restaurant. Although located in Aurora and I live in Capitol Hill, this is my place to go. I have had an amazing experience getting to know the owners and have made a friend every time I go. If you want that small local eat then please try sue of siam! The food is delicious, each bite makes me want more from the pad thai to the drunken noodles and the curry is just a treat. Plus the wife bakes chocolate chip muffins and hands them out while you are waiting or for a small treat after you eat. Great place and great people!

This place changed ownership 6 months ago with the new owners originally from Bangkok. Still the best authentic Thai restaurant in town. Try the Pad Khing with chicken, pine apple, fresh ginger. Very rich red curry (best with beef). Iced Thai Coffee is awesome (says me, the coffee snob). And you got to try the warm, sweet, sticky rice with fresh mango as desert. Even better if you combine it with coconut icecream.
