I must say, this place deserves another review. Vast improvement from our last visits. They must have read my and other's previous lack-luster reviews. Last few times super-friendly service. They might've hired new staff and got rid of the rude baristas. The new staff remembers us (even our names) and we even got FREE chai soy lattes simply because they were out of soy on our previous visit. Beverages seemed to have improved, also. Like how can you improve delicious Starbucks beverage but somehow they have. Still parking spot hard to come by which leaves me tempted to park in the handicap spot. Overall, keep up the good work, folks!

My family needs Starbucks nightly.. this is our go-to location. Always friendly and Kyle,Jared and Sarah make the best drinks. If you need caffeine this is the Starbucks. If people are in that big of a hurry for a coffee go make it yourselves or hit up the Quickie Mart! Drinks are made by true baristas here!!!

My drinks have been messed up every time I come here and I don't even make modifications. They also don't know how to apply discounts and offers. Low energy employees. The only good thing is that they have a drive thru but it takes 20 minutes to get through. Quicker and better anywhere else. I actually drove away from here, tasted my drink which was missing the flavor, then took it to another Starbucks. They barista took one look and said "what is that??" They promptly made a replacement for me which tasted perfect. This tower location is often out of flavors too. Wtf??

D.O.N.E. I have really tried to be tolerant but I am over it! Ordered a venti...got less than a grandes worth of coffee.

Worst star bucks ever. I went here last week to get two green teas. When I go to pull out I realized I had one tea and iced coffee. So I take it back inside to get my drink. The guy at the drive through takes it from me without asking if I got my drink or apologizing. It's like he was stoned out of his mind. Never again.

  • Lua F.

The drive through lane for this place is ALWAYS long. Very rarely have I waited less than five minutes at any time in the day to get my order. The inside is small and doesn't have enough places to sit. The baristas are okay but not any more friendly than someone working minimum wage at a job they don't enjoy.

I am so tired of coming to this location and having my order messed up!! Every flipping time for the last 6 months. This is insane. I asked for a cafe mocha and again they messed it up. Last time it tasted like hot chocolate and they treated me like I was insane. I have these all the damn time since Starbucks opened I know what they taste like! This time they introduced coconut milk I asked for the coconut milk and got a regular cafe mocha - I know the flavor should change and I sat there and watched her make my drink! IT WAS WRONG! To top it off it wasn't even the cup the guy wrote my order on - the cup was BLANK! Had it with this location - STARBUCKS IF YOU READ RHESE BUILD ANOTHER LOCATION BECAUSE HAMPDEN &TOWER IS NOT DOING YOUR GOOD NAME JUSTICE!!!

I see some bad reviews for this location and I disagree. This is a busy store and while there is almost always a line at the drive-thru...that is life. It is busy and it isn't so much the line but the design of the line that is the problem. It intersects with a bank drive-thru. The staff rocks. They are always friendly. I agree that the inside is too small and if they could kick out the Verizon (dealer) store (that is always empty) beside it; they could expand. They have rarely messed up any order I have placed and I am there all the time. The store is clean and the bathroom is clean. I wish they had a fireplace. It can be cold in there. Kyle rocks. The baristas know my order and my name. This is my home Starbucks and I think they do a great job!!

Slow and very slow drive thru...20 minute wait drive thru 3 times visit last year and year before...accuracy is also issue time to time...i avoid this starbucks if i can

It's a Starbucks. Coffee, Tea and other chilly drinks & gifts for those who can't get enough. The one thing I do love about Starbucks is all year round I can get something Pumpkin. Pumpkin Bread, Pumpkin Muffin, Pumpkin Scone. There's usually always something. At 6 am on a Saturday morning the gang inside was friendly and ready to serve. I will return again I am sure.

I want to like this place so bad because it's so convenient for me, but it's unfortunately only a 2 star at most. My biggest issue with this place is their consistency in making my drink right. In the approximate 20 times I've been to this location, they've succeeded in making my drink right about 5 of those. I'm a forgiving person so I keep going back in hopes one day they'll all be retrained or actually use the drink book on making their drinks because Starbucks drinks have been the same since The Beginning.

Everytime I come here my drink is wrong. (I visit 1-2 times per week) I either order a caramel macchiato or a flat white. They never put in the minimum amount of espresso for either of these drinks. Today was the last straw when I ordered a flat white with 3 shots of espresso and I can clearly see that I only got one shot of espresso. I am not paying 5-6 dollars for steamed milk. They get two stars for the service always being speedy and polite, but I will not be visiting this location again.

Slowest Starbucks in the world. Especially in the drive thru! Even when you go inside, there usually is some confusion with your drink!

    (2)
  • Sara W.

Slowest. Starbucks. Ever. 8am or 2pm it doesn't matter. Packed or dead, The service is ridiculously slow!!

  • Jill F.

This location used to be my regular, but I have since moved. And boy do I miss it. I haven't been in a while, and the (manager I think) Jack, still remembers my name and drink. Way to go! When i get great service, I don't mind going that extra distance. Thank you Jack, for remembering me.

This Starbucks is the slowest one I have ever been to. Regardless of the time of day, you better plan on an extended wait when going through the drive thru. One car or three cars ahead of you, the wait time is ridiculous! Not only is the wait time frustrating but so is the attitude of the workers. They could at least apologize for messing up the order or the wait time! I would rather go to the Starbucks in Safeway than visit this place again. Will not be back.

  • Eric And Jennifer R.

Three years ago I would have given them a 5 but they have a new team and the service is not the same. I used to visit this location daily when I worked in the area. They had my drink ready for me just the way I liked it every day. They knew my name.

    (3)
  • David M.

The staff at this Starbucks don't seem to be as friendly or as organized as my "home" Starbucks location on Buckley and Iliff, but the drinks are usually just as good.

    (3)
  • Suzanne P.

In my opinion the problem at this location is mostly the customers.....Yes I am a customer here. They can get very busy very quickly. I have stood there and listened to woman SCREAM at the employees to get her order ready quicker, she was picking up drinks for like 15 people and called 10 minutes before she arrived to pick up.... Anyway they are always nice and always get my orders right.

  • Cassandra F.

This is my local Starbucks. This location is almost always busy, so don't stop if you need to get in and out really quick. The drive-thru line in particular is usually quite long in the morning, so I have to leave early if I intend on stopping there on my way to work. Other than that, it's a pretty regular Starbucks.

    (3)
  • Debby S.

This is the slowest Starbucks in the state maybe even the world. If I order a plain ol cup of joe it takes forever if I feel wild and get anything else like a expresso I know that means ill wait even longer. It's faster to drive out of my way to a different Starbucks then get back on the same Road that I have to pass this one and be on my way

    (1)
  • Christine G.

I've been to this Starbucks several times, always as a walk-in customer, and have never encountered a problem. It's a decent, run-of-the-mill neighborhood Starbucks with outside seating when the weather is nice. They always smile when they take my order, so that counts for something, I guess.

    (3)
  • Mark A.

I live near this Starbucks and so come here often as I pass by on my way to work. I review this particular one only to warn of their consistantly slow service. It's not uncommon to sit in the drive-through for up to 15 minutes. Going inside is a better experience, and the place is clean and layed out nicely. Also, for some reason, their always out of brewed coffee. This isn't so bad if you enjoy a free americano... Not surprisingly, this street corner has two other Starbucks on it, though both of them are within supermarkets. Even still, I'd suggest going to one of those if your not interested in waiting.

This is my most frequented Starbucks as I am an addicted Tea drinker with an unusual mix and frequent several Starbucks around town throughout my day. As I stated this is my most used location and it has not been without trials and tribulations, but the staff is awesome and they really are the best. They have gone out of their way to learn my name and my drink even in the absence of my presence. They deserve all the kudos and shout outs for a job well done. This location is always rockin and seldom dull. Keep up the good work you guys! I will be in soon for my Tea (Awake) Misto :)

I thought it might be silly to review a Starbucks, but I see that they are still helpful in identifying problem locations. And this particular location is a Problem! Like Mark, I have also experience 20 minute waits at the drive thru, so I opt to head inside. I don't wait as long, but twice now I've had my beverage made completely wrong. Admittedly, I order a tea latte, which is not common but it is on the menu. And what's more, the staff always seem confused, like they're in training even though I recognize many of them from the past year. Today was the kicker -- after making my drink wrong, twice, I explained the correct recipe. She then asked her coworkers if I was right. One agreed with me, the other agreed with her. I guess she saw the 50/50 split as an advantage to her, because she asked if I still wanted her to remake the drink a third time. I said yes, but what I should have done was asked for my money back. It's sad when you leave a Starbucks and think -- "Darn, I should have gone to the one in Safeway" quick update - 6/17 - Starbucks Corporate responded to a complaint I sent via their website. They apologized and promised to share feedback with the regional manager of the store. They're also sending a few drink coupons. I'm not sure if I have the courage to return to this location any time soon, but hopefully Starbucks will be able to correct a few things.
