I generally ignore Starbucks. I don't go to them because I don't like the way the coffee tastes and I hate how there is one on every corner. Yet here I sit at this Starbucks on the corner of Colfax and Chambers. "Why?" you ask. Well, I had an appointment out this way so I looked up nearby coffee places. When I came to the address listed for a different, non-chain place lo-and-behold, it had been taken over by Starbucks. After checking out the other 2 places I had listed and finding them closed I gave in and came back here. That was one reason this particular Starbucks makes me unhappy. The second is they don't have free Wi-Fi. This is seriously the only Starbucks I've ever been in that made a customer pay for using the Internet. What's up with that? So, here I sit sipping my burnt-tasting coffee, paying for Wi-Fi because I have an appointment way out here and I can't find another place to work until it starts. On the positive side the girls working here are probably some of the nicest baristas I've ever seen in a Starbucks. They are the reason for 2 stars, nothing else.

Pleasant store. They take good care with the drinks and food. I was just visiting the area and they made my custom drink well. Convenient to University Hospital. Ample parking.

Good coffee stop, average service and average wait time. Nothing to "Wow" you but nothing to make your experience horrible either.

A quick stop for the mocha fix. Quick service. Small lounge area so don't plan on conducting meetings here but you can still maintain a decent conversation over coffee although avoid embarrassing ones here because of the echoing acoustics.

Kinda ghetto...that is the location - kinda shady - and the outside decor is a bit rough and outdated. However, the baristas are warm and friendly & the brews the usual goodness.

**3.5 stars** Was in dire need of some caffeine after landing at Denver International Airport. After wolfing down lunch at the nearby Subway - we found our way here. Ordered a triple shot Cappuccino, what I got was a triple shot latte. The barista asked me if I liked my Caps wet or dry. I asked: "why was she asking?" She made a drink that was really a latte - it was very heavy - no way you could pass this off as a Cappuccino. Was strong and good as Lattes go - just not what I ordered...

One thing I love about Starbucks is that they LOVE to crank the AC. This one was no exception. They caused me to go from sweltering hot to needed a jacket in minutes. I got an iced coffee and kicked back and enjoyed some conversation before I had to get ready for my evening gig. Now, I've reviewed several Starbucks around the city and have to say that this one is up to standard. The baristas were friendly, the service was fast, and the coffee was delicious. I know Starbucks gets a lot of haters, but I don't get it. Here's a company that made their mark as a local store and found a way to grow their business with no advertising, only word of mouth. Get over your hatred for "the man" and come see why people generally enjoy their jobs at Starbucks.

Like everyone else says, its Starbucks Coffee Company. You either love them or hate them which to me works out mathematically to a good solid three if they get your order right and with a smile. Why am I reviewing this Starbucks? This is the one ST, my horse, received over $50.00 in gift cards from this past Christmas for teaching several people how to ride. I am surprised he gave the impression he needed a Starbucks card but it was appreciated by me as I stop by for a warm-up after a cold ride. This is the one who does not turn up their nose at me when I come in looking like a giant cotton ball from a shedding horse. This is the one who turned me on to honey lattes. So to Starbucks, my horse and I thank you.

Just another Starbucks...nothing special, just overpriced coffee, that doesn't even come close to good coffee. I generally don't like SB since their coffee sucks, but I needed caffeine. I would say Mcdonalds coffee is much better and Dounkin Dounts is much much better but I don't think they have any stores in Denver :-(

A pretty good indication that you drink too much coffee is when they start your order before you get in the door. That's one of the things that I like about this Starbucks. The people are friendly and they make a decent drink. I frequent more Starbucks than I care to admit, and this one (besides being close to home) has some of the friendliest staff out there! And they make a pretty mean Toffee nut soy latte, hot OR iced!!

This is the most unkempt location I've ever visted. There are others around that are much nicer, clean, and friendly. Someone should be sweeping, mopping, regularly. Not a good experience

I rarely visit Starbucks but when I do the employees always seem happy and friendly. This shop is one of the ones to showcase that attitude. Oh, and they have old fashioned doughnuts!
