Friendly cashier, and nice big menu. Lots of options are available. I ordered the 5 piece tender meal in mild. Wasn't a long wait for my order either. The meal was good and satisfying. BUT The employee should help clear tables instead of sitting down and relaxing during the busy lunch hour. They could of used more tables inside but well nothing can be done about that now. I don't recommend sitting outside unless you want to be bothered by the Resident crackhead asking you for money or Possibly chicken?? Just stick to the drive thru. You'll thank me later.

Don't eat here unless you absolutely have to eat Popeyes chicken and other locations are not an option. I came here with a friend while waiting for a haircut the other day, we both got the EXACT SAME THING (Chicken Waffle Tender meal w/ sweet tea) and I ended up paying 32 cents more than my friend for some odd reason? I wasn't gonna make a big deal over 32 cents though. My friend got his order right off the bat and I had to wait around 10 minutes for mine even though it was during off peak hours. I understand you run into some problems sometimes, but 10 minutes for a fast food restaurant? Come on. And they were out of the honey mustard sauce that came with the chicken waffle tenders too, but whatever. The chicken itself was relatively good, so they get a star for that.

Although this certainly wasn't my life's goal, I've officially found the SECOND worst Popeye's in the metro area (see my other review for the first). I wonder if they're owned by the same franchisee? Regardless, the main problems we experienced were during the ordering and fulfillment process: 1. I was asked to confirm, NO LESS THAN 6 TIMES, what sides I wanted on the TWO meals I had ordered. (One meal had red beans and rice and one meal had cole slaw! Oh my God! That's too complex to keep track of! Quick! Someone get us a Nobel scientist!) 2. While ordering, I made the mistake of asking whether a baguette could be swapped out for a biscuit on a particular meal. Ooops! Well, that required a heated "intellectual" debate behind the counter for a good 5 minutes while other orders sat there, getting cold. 3. At the end of all this strange confusion, I ended up with 2 extra sides that I didn't order and didn't really want, but was afraid to hand back and confuse the poor people even more. I'm officially done with any/all Popeyes in Aurora, Colorado. #EPICFAIL

WOW. Terrible. My son and I decided we'd like some chicken. I hopped in the car in my pj's (one of the great things about drive- thrus !) I ordered an 8 piece spicy and a side of mac and cheese, and a small side of slaw. I happily drove home, which is about 7 minutes away from this location. When I opened our food, I found that the mac and cheese was 1. COLD 2.Coagulated and separated and had some sort of liquid, which must have been a part of the cheese at one time. The chicken was okay tasting, but slightly over cooked. The biscuits and the slaw were the best part. I called, thinking I would give them a chance to redeem themselves. I told them about the side. They told me I could either drive back, or I could just pop my mac and cheese in the micro-wave. I told them that the crappy food I paid over 20$ for was fast food, and was supposed to be hot when they handed it to me. I thanked the and hung up. (Okay, I did not thank them...) This part of Colfax has rotten food it seems, the Sonic not too far away is rotten as well. Hey, that will be my next review ! Maybe a new list...rotten places to eat on East Colfax ! Hey Popeyes ! If I must eat your chicken, I will go the location on Colfax and Chambers. Schmucks.

Food is good and I truly like their choices. Unfortunately, they can't get an order right. Half of the time I've been there, my order is wrong. Also, they are very under staffed especially during rush times. If you eat there, just check your order before leaving.

I ordered the surf and turf. Are you kidding me? 4 tiny little shrimp and 2 skimpy chicken tenders. My husband got the 5 piece wings and those are the smallest wings I have ever seen. At least give me a proper amount for what I paid. I wont be going back.

Absolutely disgusting. Mac n cheese was practically soup. It should be a crime for charging customers.
