Service is fast. Salsas are good and the chicken too. I cant say much about the rice and beans since it was alright. Was kinda sad about that since its what ties the meal together. Prettt clean... they have music playing and im glad that they require a key to the bathrooms. Not as good as rico pollo.

This place is awesome, for a Mexican rotisserie and they are Korean. It is the best hands down in Colorado. They have a really good deal for the full chicken special, congress with plenty of rice, beans, tortillas, and hot hot sauce

Service is fast and prices are cheap, but the food is slop. You get what you pay for, that's for sure.

Step off! I seriously can't describe how pumped I am to have found this place. You can see into the kitchen, which always makes me a fan, you watch the chicken being grilled, the food is delicious, portions are HUGE and the prices are CHEAP! We had the Chicken Nachos - couldn't even eat half of them. We also had the Chicken Smothered Burrito - wow! Good amount of spice, the chicken is fantastic and the salsa & guac are really good. I seriously wish this place were closer to my house because it might become my regular hang out.

Date(s) visited: about 1 time. Food/Drink: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Price: 5/5 Parking: 5/5 "MEXICAN FOOD WITH A 'TWIST' OF CHINESE!" Food/Drink: The other day I ordered a platter of chicken wings and was taken back by the taste! They were HOT yet had some other "spices" added to them that really made them different from other wings I've had in the past. The wings were still "joined" together which allowed for two pieces of chicken to be savored in each tasty serving. They were heavily ladened with sauce and were given to me in a pretty generous portion. My other half ordered the Broiled Chicken upon a suggestion made by the manager who said it is a popular item. It came served with rice, beans, and was topped with a couple of sauteed pieces of Chinese cabbage. As part of my job as a #Foodie :-) ... I try to be as honest as possible without being offensive (which I REALLY don't mean to be...Seriously...)...But, I have to say the chicken was a little "dry" and hard to bite into :-/ I later on had a craving for tacos so I ordered from their $1.50 menu and bought two tacos for less than $2. The tortillas were a good size for small tacos yet, the chicken once again was very dry and lacked flavor. Service: The man who owned this place is Chinese which actually surprised me since most Mexican restaurant "owners" I've met in the past were usually Hispanic. It allowed for me to connect with him on different topics about Asian culture and cuisine. I have to say, he was a very nice man who truly made our experience there one worth coming back. He was very friendly, personable, and provided GREAT customer service. He definitely helped in making me want to push up my ratings about the restaurant overall! Atmosphere: Decent...It was clean when I walked in... Price: The prices are pretty good for the generous portions of food they give. They also have a $1.50 that allows for person to pick different items ala carte with the highest price for any item being no more than $2. Parking: Parking is located for free right in the front of the restaurant. MY THOUGHTS? I really wish I could give this place a higher rating but have to say that their Broiled Chicken which my other half and I were so excited to try was quite dry. I do enjoy speaking with the owner and found him to someone who does understand the concept of how to actually "treat" his customers to make them feel welcome and comfortable about dining in. I will definitely give this place another shot if I happen to be in the area since I do like their wings ($3 bucks and some change...you can't go wrong!). I think I will try some other things on their menu such as say...Catfish Nuggets since I love Catfish (?) RECOMMENDATIONS: Their Chicken Wings are REALLY good! I love the sauce they use on them.... :)

I don't even know what to say about this place - except that I am stunned that anyone gave it a five-star review. BUT - don't get me wrong, I could absolutely see myself returning for another bean burrito on a particularly hungry day. I ended up here by total chance, craving a burrito but unfamiliar with Denver - so I eagerly veered into the parking lot after looking Pollo Picante up on Yelp while lost near Colfax. It wasn't exactly on the menu, but I just ordered a bean and cheese burrito, with a side of guacamole. I got exactly what I asked for, although it is a slight pet peeve of mine when places put the cheese on the outside of the burrito - but whatever. The guacamole was surprisingly fresh, and the salsa verde that came with my order was great - super spicy, with a slight sweet kick. I couldn't get enough of it. The red sauce was slightly congealed, so I didn't take any chances with it. This joint definitely isn't the type of place you'd take a lady out on a date to, but if you're hungry, not looking to spend a lot, and absolutely need a burrito, this place ain't half bad.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
