After a 13 hour day at work coming from Grand Junction and Delta, I was craving for Vietnamese food when I got to my hotel. This was the closest restaurant and the ratings were pretty high so I came here for dinner. If there is a 10 star rating, I will give this Pho place 10 stars. I'm from Southern California and have been to Little Saigon many times and have tasted the best pho and vietnamese food in CA but let me tell you, this place rivals those I've had in Little Saigon but honestly, I think this was the best Vietnamese food I have ever had and I AM NOT KIDDING!! I did not get Pho tonight but I got there combination grilled plate-- this was by far the best Vietnamese grilled food I've had. It had generous amount of thinly sliced grilled beef, chicken, shrimp and egg rolls for only $10.95. It was very delicious and the egg rolls was out of this world. And out of curiosity, I asked for a bowl of Pho soup. I had to ask for a second bowl because it was that good! But what really impressed me about this place was the customer service. You rarely find good service with Asian restaurants in general and I know it because I'm Filipino. But the owner knew I was a new customer and he sat down with me and talked to me. He even gave me a free boba! Talking about great service. I told Ling, the owner, that he is definitely doing something right. So for those who live in Colorado, you have the best Pho place in town. I will be a loyal customer and will definitely come here everytime I come to Denver and I mean it!

Such good food but my god send a hazmat crew. My hubby was picking up food from here and I happened to go inside one time..... We've never been back. When I see blood all over and a floor that dirty..... Incredibly shocked they're still in business and people actually sit and eat there! Gross! They had amazing boba too but it's not worth the health risk.

Great food here and well staffed so you're always taken care of in a timely manner. This place seems to be pretty popular amongst the military people, saw a lot in there at lunch. It's always fun listening to other customers speaking Vietnamese (I can understand it) about other people, gives me great insight on how they think. I ordered the number 10 special and it was very good. The rest of my table ordered various plates of fried rice and dry noodle bowls and they all said their food was great as well. A lot of them ordered a boba drink in all sorts of different flavors, I regret not getting one myself. Overall great place to grab a bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup.

Read this thusly: 5 Star for food 2 Star for service Pho spots usually mean two things: great food and service... This was my first time eating here and per the Yelp reviews that I scanned (but didn't read closely), decided to get my Pho fix... The good - 3 sizes of bowls large, gargantuan, and OhMyDam (S/M/L) The bad - the service was horrible all the way around, not enough utensils/menus, not enough waters, didn't tell us where/how to pay (its at the counter in the back of the place) and my pet peeve... can sodas!! Even taking those bad things into account, don't let this review discourage you from coming here, because the food is good enough to overlook those slights.

So very close to being a 5-star joint for me. So, so close. I will say that the broth in the pho is fantastic. It's got just the right amount of flavor. I also enjoy the fact that they have many different sizes for whatever amount of goodness you require. One drawback, and this is purely my opinion, is that all their pho have some kind of raw meat. I just don't like doing the raw meat thing. Sure I can get it on the side and sure it always cooks in the broth but still. Just sayin'... The service is impeccable and the staff is super polite. The waiters are very easy on the eyes and the owner is the nicest guy ever! They are prompt and efficient, even during a crazy buys lunch rush. When the price is right, there service is right, and the food is right there's no way you can't like this place!

Ah, is there anything better than hot soup on a cold, rainy spring day? Methinks not! Pho 888 is tucked into a shopping plaza at 6th and Sable, along with many other fantastic restaurants. Plenty of parking, but the lot can be a bit crazy at times, so keep an eye out! While the dining room can be jam-packed during the lunch hour, these guys know how to keep things moving! Consistently fast and friendly service, you'll have your tasty bowl of pho in no time. But how's the broth? It's quickly becoming a favorite of mine on the East side of town! Do yourself a favor and go support Pho 888! You'll be super happy. And so will your belly. Pro Tip! This place offers a 10% military discount!

I so was curious how a Vietnamese restaurant located in a strip mall could have a 4.5* rating on Yelp that I had to check it out. And I was sure glad I did. I visited Pho888 on a Sunday night at 7:15. The restaurant closes at 8 on Sundays so were able to get in before closing. The restaurant is bigger than I expected. Inside you find the simple decorations that immediately tell you that you are not in a pretentious restaurant. Just one that apparently has great food judging by the amount of people dining on a Sunday night. My wife and I were immediately seated and given menus and waters. I ordered the medium pho with rare steak and flank. Within 5 minutes we had our food. My meal was a steaming bowl of broth, beef and noodles with a plate of fresh herbs and sprouts to accompany it. The meal was simple and delicious. One of the most flavorful broths I've had. And the portions of meat and noodles were very generous for the price. We are from out of town which is a shame because I wish I could eat here every week. This is definitely a restaurant worthy of its review score and 5 stars in my book!

I had the Pho Tom (shrimp) -- the broth was incredibly flavorful, and the service was great. It was probably one of the best pho restaurants I have ever been to across three cities. Will definitely swing back around when I have a pho hankering!

Food: 8/10 - it's pretty damn good pho - especially in Aurora (let's try to not compare it to federal). I live in aurora now and it's my go to place for all pho craving. Their thai tea is really great there - one of my favorites. Thai tea are not all created equal and this place has awesome thai tea. I do not like many of their other boba flavors because it is too sweet for me. Cost: 8/10 It's pretty affordable - not quite as cheap as some on federal (again, this is an unfair comparison considering their have a pho restaurant on every block). Environment: Definitely friendly - but sometimes the wait is a bit longer than I would like. I only go if I have 1-2 hours of free time. Overall: In aurora - this is my favorite pho restaurant.

I'm really torn about giving Pho888 three stars, but let me explain! I've been to A LOT of Vietnamese restaurants in my lifetime, and there are one standard property that I see across all of them: speedy (and effective) service. Each time I've gone to Pho888, I've never been disappointed with the meal itself, but they've either forgotten to give me my glass of water or gotten my order wrong or forgotten to bring utensils. Other than those little things, don't let this review discourage you from coming here, because the food is still pretty tasty, and the staff is regardless very nice. The owner is really nice too!! He actually makes the effort to ask tables how their meal is, which is very uncharacteristic of a pho restaurant. Veterans and military service people get 10% off!

Definitely order the rolls and the #32 it was delicious, also the avocado jelly pearl drink was tasty!! Great value and super scrumptious

Absolutely delicious. Their vermicelli was some of the best that I've ever had. Their peanut sauce is on point too. Even though you have to go to Aurora I think it's worth the commute.

I was slightly under the weather, and needed something with some kind of "broth". Hence after work, Hubs went to this establishment to get our Dinner TO GO. Man, this establishment is indeed jam packed with other patrons who also wants to have Dinner there. That evening was on Friday August 15th 2014. Time was about 19:30hrs ish. From the Menu we opt the following items TO GO : * #21A. Pho Tom (Shrimp) (Medium) ($8.00) * #33. Com Bo Nurong - Grilled Beef Rice Plate (8.95) Just take note, The Shrimp is an additional of ($0.50), they will add the TAKE OUT FEE for every TO GO orders you are opting for. In our case, it was ($0.70). Yes, they packed the Pho stuffs separately from the Condiments, The Herbs, The Rice Noodle Bowl what nots. When we reached home, the Broth is still warm. I pour out the Pho Broth to a saucepan, to heat it up so I can have it "boiling hot". The portion is reasonable. But somehow, the Pho DID NOT WOW me as much as I want hoping for. The Depth of Flavor wasn't there. It was just OK. Well actually it was "Meh" or "Barely OK". For the Pho, they provide, Bean Sprouts, Slices of Jalapenos, Thai Basil and a Wedge of Lime. In the Shrimp Bowl, has Slices of Carrots, Cauliflower, Snow Peas and Green Onions. I opt to have Shrimp instead, coz I was craving for Shrimp. Hubs opt to have the Grilled Beef. Hubs said its Doable and just OK. The Grilled Beef, is one Piece of Beef. The Beef was placed on a piece of Green Lettuce. It is also sprinkled with Fried Shallots. It has Rice on one side, slices of Cucumber and Tomatoes. The person who took our order that evening his name is Dat. All in all, just an OK Dinner for us. Might return when needed though NOT In A Hurry coz I am eyeing for the Smoothies and Jelly Pearl Drinks aka BOBA Drinks that they offer. My boyfriend and I stopped by today around noon to grab some lunch and we are so happy we found this place! We ordered an order of eggrolls and 2 combination pho bowls. The eggrolls came with all the fixings, some vermicelli noodles, lettuce leaves, cucumbers, bean sprouts, cilantro and mint. If you don't know why the plate comes with all the extras, here's what you gotta do. Grab a lettuce leaf and put the eggroll on top. Now add a little bit of everything else on the plate, roll it up, dip in the sauce and enjoy! My boyfriend had never eaten Viet eggrolls like this before and he was pleasantly surprised. It makes it taste less fried and has a nice contrast with fresh and fried. Just as we were finishing our eggrolls our pho came. The beef was super tender (like it should be). The broth was very tasty and an excellent cure for our minor St. Patty day hangover. The servers were very nice and attentive. Our waters were never empty and they checked in on us a few times to make sure everything was going well. I can't wait to go back to try their noodle bowls!

So we've eaten here over a dozen times, probably more like 40, and unfortunately tonight it was just awful. I was very disappointed with the dish I ordered and the service. They had several new staff members so I'm assuming that's why it was a bad experience, but I was very disappointed in my food which just seemed 'off,' including my boba tea (strawberry, but literally tasted like and smelled like dirty dishrags) and I can't see us going back.

Best pho I've ever had - and I've had a lot. They use amazing spices from scratch - the broth is so good I bought extra to make some pho at home. Try the brisket - really good.

Pho 888 has to be a true contender for the top Pho/Vietnamese food joint in the Denver-area, particularly if one just considers the food and not the overall experience. Both the grilled meat plate and bowl of Pho received a tip of the hat on a recent visit, and have to be among the better options for such cuisine in the metro-area. The overall food seemed very fresh, with good flavors. A constant stream of customers made for quick turnover as well. Portion size was strong, and overall service was fine from the waitstaff. Still, after finishing some delicious food, it was quite odd to sit for approximately 10 minutes before asking if we could receive at check. At that time, the waiter informed us that customer's pay at a cash register at the back of the store. Given where we were seated at the front of the store, the register was never even visible.

I came with a group about 11 people after having a long 12 hour road trip from Texas (last week), after feeling the cold weather our stomachs instantly craved a warm broth. We typed in "pho" on Google maps, and found this location. We were seated instantly, served instantly, and the food came out really fast. We enjoyed every plate and bowl of pho to the final drop. The staff was extremely friendly and the owner even hooked us up with some samples of the mango slush which was just perfect to settle the pho. This place is a must hit up if you're in the area!

Admittedly I tried this place when they first opened some odd years ago and I wasn't impressed. The flavors from their pho even to their cafe sua da was simply underwhelming. So I was completely and utterly baffled to why this place had such great reviews. Even more so when my friends started frequenting this location. Alas, one day I was dreadfully dragged here, almost against my will. Much to my surprise, this place was delightfully good! Pho 888 has come a long way since they first opened shop and it's probably one of the better pho joints in Aurora that's almost hidden away in a plaza located near the DMV. My only gripe, horrible reception on my mobile! But the service is just as good as their pho. It's now my go to place anytime I'm craving pho in Aurora.

OH MYYYYY GOODDDDD... This place is really, really good. I have to admit I was a bit snobby because we have great Pho in Philly, and I sort of judged the shopping center element to this place. I was totally wrong. FRESH, absolutely delicious flavors, great portions, awesome prices. Stop scrolling, and go order!

Tables and chairs nicely spaced, so I never felt crammed. Had simple and very nice decorations and color schemes. All the colors complemented each other and the food, making my experience even better. The employees and servers are very polite and punctual. I had the Pho Dac Biet (combo) and asked for the Bo Tai (rare steak) on the side. The broth was absolutely amazing, the noodles beautifully smooth, and meat deliciously tender. It reminded me of home so well. The portions are huge! I got the medium size bowl, and it was already very big! Not only that, everything was perfectly proportional. Every bite of noodles had a nice portion of meat with it. You will *not* leave this place hungry. That is a guarantee. Afterward, I had a green tea smoothie, and it has very flavorful yet very light. It was the perfect partner to the filling pho. Pho 888 serves somee of the best (if not the very best) Pho in the Denver area. A great, satisfying meal for a low price. My pho and smoothie costed a total of just about $10. I would certainly recommend it, and I will definitely come again.

This entire experience was phenomenal. I will be back time and time again. My pho was so good it reminds me of my favorite pho place back in San Diego!!! And score it's right by my house!! I got a medium and I ate the entire bowl, broth and all. With a fork. Yeah, I know I'm sinning. I am a big eater though especially when it's good so a small would be good for someone who isn't a big eater. Service was so fast. Food came out fast. I wouldn't say service was friendly or particularly attentive but it was fast which is okay with me. The chicken, beef and shrimp combo plate was pretty delicious. As we're the fried egg rolls. They were so so so good. My thai boba tea was excellent. The boba was soft with the perfect amount of chew. I would definitely recommend this place. It got packed pretty fast after we got there at 11:30.

Nearly perfect Pho. The broth was flavorful. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The meat was great. The veggies were nice and fresh. And, all of this was assembled in my bowl in what I consider to be the ideal ratios. Lots of places do Pho. Some are fair, others good, a few are great, and this one numbers among the better ones I have tried. With the possible exception of Pho79 (at Mississippi and Havana), I do not think I have had better Pho on the east side of the metro area. The service was good, and that took some effort on their part. They were so busy during lunch on this weekday that they set up an extra table. They are still following the traditional pay at the counter business model here. This did get a bit congested as the line of people waiting to pay stretched between the diners at their tables. While waiting for the rest of our lunch party to arrive, I also tried the pork and shrimp spring rolls. They were a solid B+, with great texture, tasty peanut sauce, and good (but not great) flavor.

Out of towner. Ate here based on the yelp reviews and was not let down. Owner came out and checked in to make sure all was well. I gave some of my pho to my friend and the owner topped him off with soup which was a Very kind gesture. Pho is delicious. Great value, great taste. Tendon was the perfect texture. Pork Sam bowl was great too. They gave us all individual bowls of dipping sauce for our spring rolls. For a low key affordable place, or an expensive place for that matter, the food was stellar and homey service was shockingly good. Real Vietnamese coffee service too. And actually had sawtooth herb, don't normally see that at pho places in the USA.

Literally love this place... Stole my business from PHO DUY II while they were down and being rebuilt/re-established on 6th and peoria due to the light rail construction going on. Some of the best Pho' I have ever found. I still contend that PHO DUY II has the best broth I have ever tried, but the broth is great here as well and the portion sizes are correct to my liking. I often go and get the spring roll plate where you roll your own and share it. Everything is pretty delicious, and I also like the full Vietnamese menu option offerings beside just the Pho'. First place I ever tied BOBA tea, my recommendation is the pineapple, very tasty, and refreshing. The one killer to me would be the prices... I remember the prices of Pho' 5-6 years ago, and it seems this stuff has trippled. I can never leave without spending 40-60 dollars for a meal now. This stuff used to be way more affordable for large families and groups.

Best Pho and Bun I've tried thus, far in CO. It even beat the pants off nearly all the asian noodle places in Boston with the exception of the now closed Pho Republic (which featured a chicken based Pho broth that is just unparalleled). The Pho broth has notes of anise and possibly clove, all those spices that gives you a warm happy feeling. My bf had the pho with flank and rare steak, tender and delicious. If it were me I'd also have added tendon for that extra chewy goodness. I had the Pork Bun, and have to say it's hands down the best I may have ever had, and I'm a Vietnamese noodle bowl connoisseur. I've sought out vietnamese food in some of the biggest cities on the east coast including NYC, Philly, Boston, and Montreal - Quebec. If you have a place you think tops this in Denver shoot me a message and I'll put it on my must-try list.

My boyfriend introduced me to Pho. Having never had it before I was a little unsure of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. While the space is small the way they set up the tables allows for plenty of seating and space to quietly hold a conversation while still hearing the person or people your dining with. Their hot tea is exceptional, not sure of the blend but it is tasty. The food is amazing. Meats all cooked to perfection, noodles just right and plenty of them, broth is a little on the bland side but overall I was pleased. When it gets busy the staff can get a little behind but we had lunch there recently and we were in & out in under 45 minutes. Will most definitely visit again.

Weather conditions called for a soupy dinner. After seeing the great reviews, I decided to check it out for myself. I ordered the pho bo vien (meatballs), and it was decent. The broth was clear and hot, the noodles hadn't 'opened' yet from staying in broth too long, so that was good. The broth was slightly on the sweeter side, maybe they used a tad extra rock sugar? We ordered a side of bo vien for $2, and it honestly wasn't worth it. There were only 5 slices of meatball (equivalent to 2 balls, maybe). I could have gone to the Asian supermarket and bought an entire bag for double the price! Price is another reason why I rated this place a little lower--a small bowl of pho cost $7. Prices all around are increasing, but the food here is a tad more expensive than other locations.

This is our favorite Pho on this side of town. The wonderful flavor starts with broth cooked from the bone, not just the meat like others. They are friendly and hard working. It shows in the fabulous service and a personal greeting from the chef. Love the noodle bowls, egg rolls and Vietnamese coffee too!!

  • Sean K.

This place is AWFUL. WORST PHO IVE EVER HAD. No offense, but notice most of the good reviews are from white people. Now, I'm not racist, but you're not gonna ask an Asian person whose got the best.... soul food in town? I'm actually an exception cause I'm Asian and from the South and love soul food lol. Anyways, the closest thing to Pho that Americans know is chicken ramen noodles from the grocery store. Honestly, I've had ramen better than this Pho. I got the large bowl, and there was BARELY any meat or noodles. Just a big freakin bowl of SOUP. And the meat was so tough that I literally SPIT OUT THE FOOD and didn't finish my meal. I have a best friend who is Vietnamese and KNOW good Pho... And this, along with the attitude of the waiters.... Was not good pho. Will never EVER come back to this place.

This place is a 4 star going on 5 star. As with most Pho places it is in an unassuming strip mall. When you go in it is the typical question if you just sit or need to be seated (for some reason that is the norm for Pho), but someone quickly came out and directed us to a table. The place is pretty big and the tables are well spaced out. Our waiter came over quickly, was super friendly and was attentive throughout. Pho meatball was delicious. The meatballs were pretty big and they plentiful in the bowl. The broth was really flavorful and balanced. I usually take a sip of it first to see how much of everything I want to add and I have to say I took more than a few sips enjoying the flavor. But what can I say, I need my sriracha kick so spiced it up to my liking. All the side veggies/herbs were fresh and they weren't stingy about anything. I really like the place. I think it is one of the best ones I have tried. Definitely a must try for Pho fanatics!

If you are new to Vietnamese cuisine, then this is the best place to try it out... Staff is friendly, fast and helpful at suggesting dishes & how to eat it properly. After spending a few hours getting my Colo license, I was quite surprised to find this little gem in the same strip mall... even more surprised to see the amazing reviews! When trying a new Pho place, I usually plan on bringing my own Roasted/Fried garlic as a Pho garnish but since this was a surprise I resorted to my back up meal, Rice Vermicelli noodles and Marinated Grilled Pork. If you like dancing flavors then the Marinated Pork is right up your alley. Side note: Turns out they have the Roasted Garlic and I can't wait to go back and try their Pho... it was pretty busy on a Tuesday at 2pm so I'm confident I won't be disappointed. Updated review to follow. PHO Review: Super Yummy! I've been here 2 times in one week for the Pho, once for Lunch and the other for Dinner - Both times were a manageable packed house. Out of the 700 choices this is definitely closest to what I was raised on. This is one of the top 3 Pho Restaurants I recommend!

So this is my second review since I've come back and tried more things. I have been going to this Pho place pretty often now. It's right by my work and it's probably the best Pho I can find in Aurora/Denver. In a nutshell: This place as many great dishes, not just pho. All of their food is tasty. The boba here is legit and actually tastes like fruit. Their customer service is awesome. A TIP FOR ANY VIETNAMESE PERSON OUT THERE: They have bun bo on Saturday and Sunday only so come get it on those days! -------------------- Dishes I like: -------------------- When I'm looking for something warm and soupy, I always get the Pho Tai (which is the regular beef one). There are other beef ones too which are probably just as good. The broth here is very good compared to many other places I've tried here in Colorado. It is not bland at all so I love it. I always add bean sprouts, hoisen sauce, and lime to my Pho. That's how I like it, and I almost finish the whole bowl including the broth. The second dish I love there is the vermacelli noodle bowl with beef. Note that this is a dry noodle. I add eggrolls to this as well. They give you a very good portion of beef, noodle, and veggies. Adding the fish sauce just tops it off and you've got a delicious plate in front of you. -------------------- Other things: -------------------- Last but not least, you've got to get the boba/smoothie when you're here. This is the only place I've found that has LEGIT boba (not the kind made from powder that doesn't even taste like the real fruit). They use ACTUAL fruit in their smoothies. I absolutely LOVE the mango one. To make it even better, they add whip cream to it! You can ask for no whip cream if you're trying to be a LITTLE healthier haha. I am a full blown Cali girl. Boba is EVERYWHERE in SoCal so I really miss the boba shops. I wish they had some kinda boba shops here in CO that were good, but for now I'm good with coming here for good food and boba. So, I know some people will give bad ratings because of customer service. I think yelp should be more for the food but sure. There's no worry when it comes to this pho place. The workers as well as the owner are very friendly. They ask how you're doing, if your food is good, they laugh at whatever stupid jokes you may have, and so on. Another minor tip: I don't like the chicken pho here. I'm used to the chicken being shredded. Here they have sliced chicken breast. I have noticed that this is actually pretty common in CO. Guess that's something to expect here in CO. In CA you definitely will get the shredded chicken. I still give this place 5 stars because it's the best you'll get here in CO.

Got wind of this place from my Vietnamese contacts at Alfredo's. If they are going to endorse it, I figure its got to be good. And they were right. The decor and set up was kind of simple, bordering on divey. Service was very responsive and polite. I ordered my usual pho and it was out fast. The veges and noodles were a little thin and the rare steak wasn't that rare, but all in all, it was a tasty little pho. Also for an area which I didn't think got a lot of traffic, there sure were a lot of people popping in. However, I had to knock them down a notch for missing some side benefits, lack of pepper paste, sodas in a can, which means no refills. But pretty good pho.

It's good! Small pho is a little too small, but I order medium usually and it's huge! Generous amount of meat in pho. Not so much in rice plate combos. Soup in pho taste good. Not the best soup, but good. Service is fast and friendly. Overall I like it.

We're on a big Pho kick lately and Pho 888 was close to where we were so we thought we'd try it out. As others have said, the service here is excellent. Very friendly staff and came over several times to refill the water and ask if we were doing all right. The Pho was excellent. Broth had good flavoring and a good portion of meatballs and noodles. The meatballs were a bigger slice than you usually get, too, which is nice. I got the medium, which seemed a little smaller than the medium I've gotten at other places, but still a good size. I've certainly had smaller mediums and larger mediums, so it's hard to judge. I thought the prices were pretty good, too. Can't beat going out for lunch for under $15.

Can I give 6 stars? Staff were really nice and personal. Chef came and spoke with me and accommodated a special request! The meat they use is tender and flavorful. Vietnamese coffee was awesome. Can't wait to go back.

This place is truly phenomenal. I was recently in Colorado on business and had a craving for pho. I found out about this place from my fellow yelpers. I must say, this is heaven on earth. I started with the spring rolls. They have pork and shrimp inside and are really good. They were served with the meat warm inside and a great peanut sauce. I had the pho with all the meats. The broth was very good and the meats were excellent. The server was very friendly and did a great job. I had a mango bubble tea for dessert and it really hit the spot. I will definitely try this place out again the next time I am in Aurora.

Amazing! I can't say enough about the food. I had the four meats on vermicelli. The Shrimp were cooked to perfection. The pork was crispy and very flavorful. There was a lot of meat in the bowl I had. I even took the rest home and there was still meat left to take. I liked the lettuce in with it. It gave the noodles another texture. This is my favorite Pho' place yet. The wait staff were very nice too. They came over and apologized for the noise in the back. It wasn't loud, they were making boba tea. Great place to eat and inexpensive.

As I was eating the vegetarian pho I remember thinking how I just wanted to live in the broth. It was that good!

I have been going here for 2 years and love their steak Pho. But on the latest trip I noticed something disturbing......their floors obviously haven't been scrubbed in a long time as they are filthy. Don't know what has happened but now it makes me hesitant to go there anymore. Sad

Our visit to this Vietnamese restaurant was super friendly and delicious! They have great vegetarian options (the noodle bowl is fantastic!) and they even offer avocado and durian shakes! The physical space is a bit boring and the restaurant is located in a strip mall, but other than that, the service is great, the options are varied, and the food is fantastic.

Pho 888 is easily my favorite place for solid authentic Vietnamese food. The servers are very friendly and offer fast service. The owner is always sweet and will make his rounds around the restaurant occasionally to ensure patrons are happy with their food. 5 reasons why I choose to drive further to specifically dine at pho 888 (I live closer to a handful of pho places on havana/parker). 5. Boba is fresh (you can always hear the blender) and delicious. The french coffee is heavenly. 4. The eggrolls are probably one of the best in town. Full plate of fresh veggies to accommodate several dips into the tasty dipping fish sauce! 3. Prices are fair and portions are a tad bigger than other places. 2. Don't forget to try the WEEKEND specials (that aren't on the menu) - banh cuon (vietnamese steamed rice cakes) and the bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup). Both are amazing and better than my mom's! SH! Don't tell. 1. The pho is fragrant, beefy, and delicious. You can really smell the anise. The broth is consistent week after week. No matter what time of day or how busy the joint gets, the broth is always tasty. Other places will water the broth down if they haven't prepared enough for the day, but Pho 888 does it right EVERY TIME. The S/M/L sizes are on the larger side as well. I only started coming to Pho 888 reguarly for the last 6 months or so because the other places nearby just aren't cutting it anymore. If you are ever near 225 and 6th, stop in!

I loved the soup here. Was asked a couple of times if everything was ok. And I got a 10% discount for being in uniform.

Awesome pho and rice bowls, bobla is awesome too. Can get crazy during lunch so come early. The egg rolls are good too. I stick with the #18 with rare steak, brisket, and flank!

As many have mentioned, the service at Pho 888 is excellent. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very willing to help out newcomers who weren't familiar with the different types of meat available for pho. The pho itself was pretty standard with all the usual toppings (sprouts, jalapeños, lime, etc.). Of course Sriracha hot sauce was readily available on every table. I also got one of their bubble drinks (they call it a "jelly" drink) and was a little caught off guard by how sweet it was (Mango flavor). It's definitely more of a smoothie with tapioca pearls than anything.

Dear America, please put down your disgusting Subway sandwiches and have some real food for lunch, i.e. Pho. I'm a big fan of Asian food in general, but Pho is definitely one of the best things one can eat. And this place is the best in town! The broth is outstanding, meat is great quality, and toppings always fresh. No wonder it's packed at lunch hour even with a good size dining room! If you're making multiple trips make sure to try the noodle bowl with various bbq meats...amazing!!! Service is always fast and friendly despite being busy and price is hard to beat (you will pay more at "food poisoning waiting to happen" Subway). Get here asap but don't take my seat!

This place is awesome! Our waiter was very attentive and happy to serve us. Even the owner(also chef) came out to see how everything was and gave great suggestions. The food was amazing!!!! Everything we had tasted fresh and delicious. Overall this place exceeded my expectations. I'll definatly be back!

Love going here! Super clean, great service and most of all, amazing food! I always get the grilled combo noodle bowl, the best on a hot summer day! I just tried another pho place, and I am ashamed that I cheated on 888...I got what I deserved and was super disappointed. At least it taught me to write a good review for 888 so everyone else knows to come here!

I had friends in town that wanted to eat Pho. Although I am an Aurora resident I had not eaten here before. It was fabulous! The food was great. The chicken pho was not too salty with just enough veggies. My friend had a noodle bowl and said it was wonderful. Awesome take out as well. Even my husband that is a very picky eater may get his own pho next time.

Stumble on this on the East side of town just because we wanted to have a quick bite but to our surprise it was delicious! There are so many Pho restaurants in Denver now, it's nice to find one where the flavor is authentic and an owner who cares about his restaurant. Plan on this being my go to Pho place from now on!

I stopped by here on my reserve weekend...not expecting much. Boy, was I surprised. Everything from the decor to the food reminded my of eating back in Orange County . The pho isn't cheap by comparison to places in OC but it was really good. The cha gio are made with real rice paper instead of the flour lumpia wrappers. The broth was really, really good. I'm a pho purest and don't like to put any hoisin or chili sauce into my pho. Just the way it comes and the fresh veggies. Good food! I'll definitely be a regular there on my reserve weekends.

Sadly, the place did not live up to the hype that I had been hearing about. I had really high expectations of this place because of recommendations from this site and from the person organizing this. I really wanted to like it and maybe because of the high expectations, I came away more disappointed than if I didn't have those expectations. After having been there, all I have to say is "What's the big deal?". Certainly not the food nor the price. The menu was typical of what you might find for a VN restaurant catering to non-VN people (pho, rice/noodle bowls). The food portions are typical of most VN restaurants (large is huge) but for the value, I would say it's average as you can get about the same portions of food for less at many places on Federal or cropping up in most neighborhoods. The goi (salad with shrimp and pork) was a good portion size but the shrimp chips were too little for the amount of salad. These shrimp chips are probably a penny or so each so why be so stingy about them? The French coffee was also good but it's hard to screw this up since all it is is French coffee and lots of condensed milk. Others in the party felt that the pho wasn't anything special and pretty typical. I was expecting to try the banh cuon because it was a weekend but they said the person who usually makes it was on vacation. Really? I've made it at home before and it really doesn't take a Cordon Bleu chef to do it. And we were told they could do a custom menu for us and that turned out to not be the case. Again, expecations were higher than actual experience. Our waiter forgot several people's special drinks and had to be reminded. Other than that, he was a friendly guy but really, why give the job to the newbie for a group of ~10? The only good thing about this place is it seems like it's in an area of Aurora that's being redeveloped so you're not feeling like you might get mugged walking to your car.

I had the Pho with shrimp. The broth was delicious and flavorful. The condiments were fresh and plentiful. The waitstaff was very polite, but it took awhile to get our check and to-go containers. I'll be back!

Oh my goodness gracious. I absolutely LOVE their Combination Noodle Bowl. It is delicious, everything that should be crunchy is, the veggies are fresh, the sauce is delicious and tangy without being oily. There is so much food that it is impossible to eat it in anything less than the medium sized nested pyrex bowls! I often get takeout and have it as dinner and lunch, there's way too much for one sitting. Every friend, even the biggest Pho snobs, that I've brought here have absolutely loved this place. The staff are friendly and polite, there is plenty of seating space though it is often at least half full.

  • David S.

Amazing Pho! Best Pho broth I've tasted. Their portions are huge...I ordered a medium and I couldn't finish it. You can choose your combo of meats, which is great since I like mine with just beef and tripe. I will be eating here again tomorrow and probably sunday, before I have to fly back to MI.

Quality, Quantity and Quick! I've been here a couple times for the Pho and found it to be a good combination of flavor and tradition in a bowl. You really can't go wrong by coming here!

Reading the reviews I was excited to give this place a try...... I must have gone on an off day, my pho was just bad, it was oily and my meat tasted old, I ended up leaving and just taking my bubble tea on the road, maybe it was just a bad batch of lunch Pho but I was not a fan

Being part Vietnamese doesn't just qualify me having a legit Vietnamese review, but having parents who owned Vietnamese restaurants probably does. I ordered & recommend: Goi Cuon Chay (Vegetarian Spring Rolls) Pho Tai (rare beef on the side) Pho Ga Avocado shake Papaya shake Let me get to the point: Order the pho ga!!! Normally, I am totally a beef pho gal and my husband gets chicken pho (which I never touch) but not at this place. The pho ga is literally the best I've had in a long, long time and I've tasted pho in Vietnamese meccas like San Jose, Westminster, Hawaii, & Saigon. The flavor is so authentic and way better than Turtle Tower. I've never wanted to switch to pho ga until I came here. Don't get me wrong, the beef pho is also really good. I just never had a pho ga that beat out my pho tai. I also ordered the Goi Cuon Chay and it was GOOD. If you like the regular goi cuon, I am sure it will also be good. I just prefer tofu rolls over shrimp & pork. The peanut sauce is made perfectly & trust me, I am a totally peanut sauce snob. I need the right amount of hoisin sauce to peanut butter and water ratio & this place makes it just right. The owner, Linh, is so nice, friendly, and down-to-earth. He knows his Vietnamese dishes and he sticks to the true flavors. His smoothes are so good and made with fresh fruits, not that crappy powder stuff most boba places use. I definitely plan to swing by this place as many times as I can the next time I am here. If you are a lucky local, I envy you!!!!

I know it may seem like I only write 5 star reviews...but I like to think that I only take time to write a review if the place is 5 star worthy...and this place is! It's really good. Period. I was in town visiting the folks and hit this place a few times with my mom. Being from LA, I have had the opportunity to eat some really good pho...and this place is totally up at the top of anything I have had before. It's great. It's fast. It's well priced. Not much more to add. Highly recommend and will be back whenever I am in town.

Differentiating yourself in a sea of pho restaurants has got to be pretty tough in 2015. Once again Yelp brought me to a gem, thanks Yelpers. Last night I ate at Pho 888. I had the pho tai nam and the goi cuon. Bottom line up front....I eats a lotta pho. The goi cuon was the best I've ever had. Not because it was an adaptation of the tradition but because it was well done. The shrimp was fresh, the pork was flavorful and tender, and the peanut sauce was unique and a must try. Even the rice wrapper was the right consistency. Now, on to the pho. The flank was awesome. It was cut right, a little fatty, and falling apart in the way flank should. The broth was an 18 hour broth, not same day broth that we all know and despise. The owner even brought over a side of pickled sweet raw onion for me to pair with the meat and it just brought my dinner over the top. In sum, no fear dining at Pho 888. You'll get a great meal in Aurora and a friendly restauranteur that genuinely cares if you enjoy your meal. Yelp on!

Let me tell you a secret. Come here for the bun bo hue. This is some bomb stuff you can't find elsewhere in Colorado. Forget your typical pho. This bun bo is perfectly flavored, with the drooling spicy taste. I could even drink the soup =). It's also a good size and makes me very full. I love how the owner comes and talks to the customers. This is how you get regulars. Good job! The only catch is that bun bo is only available on weekends and sometimes they even run out by sundays. I've gone two sundays in a row to get this and I think about it all week! This is perfect for a rainy day, a long day, just any random day.

The owner runs this place along with a lot of his family. His pho is great and has a chicken variety too. One of the best in town! Their kitchen is very clean and their staff is friendly. Go eat it!

This place is amazing!great pho! The owner is the nicest man you'll probably ever meet and his interaction with his customers is one of a kind. This is the ONLY place I eat pho now. They also have great "smoothies" or bobas I think they're called...but I recommend the mango one! Great service here as well.

Came here for bun bo hue but they no longer have it on their menu. I was so disappointed after reading so many good reviews on their bun bo hue. When I asked the waiter about their menu, he said they only make bun bo hue on the weekends when it's not too busy but every time I come here on the weekend, they say "Sorry, no bun bo hue today." I have given up on coming here to try their bun bo hue. From what I have tried here: the pho is okay. I have tried many pho places in Colorado with my bf and this place is decent. They do get busy during lunch and dinner time, especially on the weekends. I gave them 4 stars because I am a big fan of their bobas! The boba is soft, chewy and sweet just the way I like them. I usually get the taro boba or the thai tea boba. $4 per drink isn't too bad. Sometimes I would drop by just for the drinks!

Hot or cold, so far my favorite bowl in Aurora. It's no wonder that they're always crowded but they're polite, fast, efficient and the food rocks so it's worth a short wait. Pho or bun, they do it up right.

  • Brenda L.

Tip #1: ask for satay sauce (spicy chili sauce) for your pho (it's a game changer). It is like crack. I just cannot get enough of it. I don't care if I get a heartburn afterward. The sauce is totally worth it. And I've had satay sauces at other places before but the satay here is the best I've ever had. It's not the red stuff that they have on the table already but instead something they keep hidden in the back because it's a prized possession. Must ... Eat.... More .... Satay ..... I have only tried four pho places in Colorado so far but this one is my favorite of those four. This was the first place I ate at when I first moved here back in the summer. Coming from a city with a LARGE number of VIetnamese people, I was a little pompous about pho and a bit skeptic about the quality of pho in Colorado. But,like Kim Kardashian's marriages, I was wrong. Pho 888 had a great broth (not too strong in anise flavor but not too bland) and had fresh and large vegetables. The servers were friendly and even chatted it up with me. I am not used to having more than a 5 second conversation with waiters at Vietnamese restaurants. They also, to my surprise, serve banh cuon on certain weekends. Their banh cuon and their pho are both equally good. I also tried their watermelon sinh to (smoothie) with rainbow jelly. It was refreshing and reminded me of the watermelon smoothies I used to make when I worked at Q-cup Boba in high school. I will disclose the recipe here ingredients 1. watermelon 2. splash of simple syrup directions 1. blend in a blender I know. Mind blowing. Their green tea drink is also super refreshing & yummy. It's milky jasmine tea with matcha? I'm not sure why it's colored like that but it tastes like jasmine tea. But anywhoots, I suggest you come get some pho here if you're in the area. Pho is great for 1. breakfast (as it is traditionally a breakfast food in Vietnam) 2. hangovers 3. cold days 4. any other occasion that was not listed in #1-3

  • Dan L.

Huge portions, very high quality ingredients, great service, and the owner even came by to say hello. :) I honestly wasn't expecting to find that good of a Pho place in Denver, but I was very impressed! The only thing is that this restaurant would get another star if the flavor of the broth was stronger. I'd say 4.5 Stars for Denver, but 4 if it was here in Orange County lol.

  • Suzanne B.

This Pho place is close to work, fast and convenient for a quick lunch. It's almost always about 75% full with military personnel and I see a lot of the same faces every week. The food is incredibly flavorful and the price is great. We like to get the Pho on cold days and in the spring we do the combo platters. LOVE the fresh flavor in this dish. Easy on the stomach and very filling. The only thing I don't like as much is they bring their drinks out in cans and pour them in glasses (why don't they have a soda machine) and if you ask for tea, they will bring you Raspberry ice tea and put sugar in it. WAY too strong for me. Other than that, it's an easy, comfortable place to eat.

  • Brian A.

The food was really good and the presentation of the food was excellent. The only reason I am reducing it one star is because the eating area seems a little rundown. There was a noodle on my menu and the floors are pretty dirty they don't have any booths and tables. The staff was really nice.

BEST PHO IN AURORA.. PERIOD !!! I seriously come here at least once a week, their broth is amazing and the portions are big for the price they charge, their BBQ plates are also really tasty! I have tried 2 other PHO's in aurora and never going back! The service is extremely quick so if you are in a hurry but still want quality food then come here :)

I eat lunch here at least once a week! Always great food and service. Vietnamese egg rolls are my favorite and they are phenomenal here. Pretty much everything here is great. My favorite boba is the taro flavor.... be adventurous and try it. I can't say enough great things about this place. Probably why it is packed at lunch time. The hubs and son really like the combo rice platter. I took a colleague to lunch last week and he said this was our new lunch spot going forward!

  • Vicky D.

It was a good experience! I am vegetarian, although they don't have much vegetarian choices and due to that am not fan of derived from the rice. I asked for a vegetarian noodles bowl but without the noodles. For my surprise, the waiter brought me the vegetarian bowl with more fresh variety of green vegetables instead of noodles. I loved this consideration and I enjoyed that dish much. And yes, I would visit this restaurant again. Hope this isn't the only time that they please with this sort of service. Thank you Pho 888! Oh... Also, we enjoyed a boba drink flavored French coffee without the jelly pearls at end of the meal like a dessert, nice taste.

    Coming from Cali, this pho satisfies all my cravings. I love to order the rare steak on the side so i can cook it myself for extra rare flavors! Best thing about this place though is the bun bo hue, served on the weekends!! Try it, you won't regret it!! It's even got pork blood in it (;

  • Joe R.

It was a cold night and we were looking for some pho to warm up. Rarely on this side of town so turned to Yelp to find this gem. We're not pho experts, so suffice it to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our orders. But the big surprise was the Boba I ordered. Wife usually hates them, but she loved the mocha as much as I did. I'd go back just for that! Very low key place. Not much atmosphere, but friendly and good service. Give it a try!

Delicious!!! We got combo #32 to share amongst us 4 as app, Wontons, pork& rice, and rare steak Pho! Everything was amazing. Moving from Boston where Thai food in Boston is usually super so finding spot in Denver makes me happy!! We will be back, even though we have to travel.

One of the best Phos around! The taste is a little salty with a little sour taste, not bland at all. Yummy! Best thing on the menu: Chicken Pho & Steak Pho Worst thing: crab cheese Wong tongs (I think there from frozen) Best Drink: Iced Vietnamese Coffee (takes them a long time to bring it out. ) Side Note: They have recently increased their prices by about a dollar.

Best pho in colorado. I'm quite a pho-fanatic and there are a few that are great (Pho Duy, Pho 79) but this the best. The broth in the pho is so good and consistent. Every time I've been there, the food has always hits the spot. There is also a great variety of other foods that have been great. Beef and rice, rice noodles, boba and egg rolls. Best hangover or getting over a cold food.

I was in the Denver area for training and was craving pho. I looked up places relatively close to my hotel and was pleasantly surprised with this place. I got pho 11 (rare meat) and it was DELICIOUS. There was a really generous portion of meat, which I think most places slack on. It even came with a bowl to combine it so was perfect for the hotel! I also got the crab wontons, which I wasn't too impressed by, and a Vietnamese iced coffee (never a disappointment there). Overall very pleased and I'll come back next time I'm at training.

  • Kevin L.

The pho is always consistent and really delicious. Sometimes there can be a wait since they get busy quite a bit, but the wait time for me hasn't been long. Service is nice and friendly. Always a great go to place whenever I'm near the area.

  • Sounder A.

Definitely 5 star pho. I love tendon and the tension here is fresh and cooked perfectly. Also had the rare streak and brisket and both were super tasty. Service was super fast and prices were good. $6.5, $7.5, and $8.5 for small, medium, and large bowls. Medium was pretty huge. Ask for fish sauce to kick it up been sprouts and herbs were really fresh too.

This place is amazing. My wife and I were trying to find a decent place to eat as we left the airport. The reviews for this place is what sold us. I've had Pho quite a few times and I must say this place is the best. The crab wontons were the best I've had, too. I would highly recommend this place. The service was Pho-nominal. Oh, and try the mango smoothie for dessert.

Back today to eat again and loved it. The owner Lin Dinh sat with us and talked about his food. Pho with chicken was great and my wife loved her noodle bowl with pork and egg roll. Lemonade is a nice accompaniment to the food. Things that make it great: 1.the owner who really cares 2.delicious food. We try to stop here when we are in the area. Convenient stop for us on coming home from DIA.

There are not a lot of good pho places to choose from in Aurora but I can say that this is one of them. This is my go to pho restaurant when I don't want to drive all the way to Denver. I've had their BBH here and it was great as well! The chef knows what he's doing!

I usually compare all places to Pho in Orange County, CA. I really had low hopes coming Colorado and eating Pho. This place was pretty big inside. It's located in a lot that looks industrial. The servers here are MUCH friendlier than the ones back home. Very attentive. The menu consisted of rice, pho , and boba drinks. I ordered the Pho Tai Nam Bo Vien. Pho Tai Nam Bo Vien- I got the small bowl and that was heavy on the noodles and meat. My friends ordered the medium and that was too much for them. The broth here wasn't bad at all. The noodles a little al dente how I like it and the meat portions were generous. It's not the most amazing Pho I had but it was good. Recommendation: Pho tai nam bo vien.

First time having vietnamese cuisine. I have been blown away by the flavor and quality from Pho 888. I had the rice and ate every last grain on my plate. The sauce on the table, don't remember the name, that is dark brown made the rice even better. Sweet and molasses taste made the rice even better. Food was quick for a lunch hour rush. My group went before the massive rush came in. Get there before 11:30 for sure. I can't wait to come back again for lunch!

I just moved to this side of aurora and was super bummed because I didn't live next to my favorite pho place pho 79 anymore. I was looking for a new place to go by me and saw that this place had a near perfect rating so I figured I'd go try it. Idk about you guys, but I'm super picky with my pho. If the meat isn't cooked/seasoned/prepared correctly or the broth doesn't have enough flavor it bums me out and I won't go back. This place definitely has it on lock though. This place also gives you like 6 limes instead of the normal two that most places give you! Every time I've been so far I've been seated right away and the waiter took our order. Another thing I like about this place is that they offer you chopsticks or a fork when they bring you your soup rather than just giving us chopsticks and assuming we can use them to eat soup. Lol I know a lot of you can, I just reallllllyyyy can't do it! I've tried! Haha A+++++

AWESOME PHO!!! Everything was so fresh and very friendly service! They also have a great variety of other dishes to choose from. We tried the beef fried rice which was delicious, the grilled beef, fried egg rolls and spring rolls. We loved everything! I also really liked how the had there sizes of the pho available and had the sizes there for you to see with cute flowers growing out of them. Clean place. We came with a big group and they accommodated us very well :) we got coconut, pineapple, passion fruit and taro. Everyone liked their flavors. They put whipped cream on the taro and the coconut options just FYI. Service I've had at a pho place which is saying a lot! Wish we could go back but won't be in colorado often - this would totally be my spot!!

I've had pho all over the country and I must say this place is delicious. The #15 well done brisket and rare steak is awesome. Also the spring roll with peanut sauce is great. The staff is great and my glass of water is never kept empty due to their awesome service.

Order the chicken salad. You won't be disappointed, it's so good and fresh, perfect on a hot summer day. Their pho is good, the broth is tasty and doesn't need much seasoning and doctoring up. Their spring rolls are amazing topic it's a good day, ordered them once and they seemed a bit off. The owner is so charismatic and friendly, I love going later in the day at like 2 to see what they eat for lunch. It's always something that looks so good! They teach you how to eat everything and the proper way to eat Vietnamese food. Their usually very responsive too. Pay at the counter when you're done! Otherwise you might be wondering about your check!

We get the inkling to go on cold days, what better way to enjoy their hot pho. I get the steak pho, a small bowl is enough for me, so yummy! Then you just have to get the Bobo drink to end the experience. I have tried most flavors but not so brave to try all. The location is near the Motor Vehicle department on the other side of the strip mall--kind of run down, but once you're in the restaurant-you forget all that and just enjoy the grub.

Got the combo bun and it was excellent! If I get a chance to go again, I would ask if they could do a half shrimp / half eggroll version. The owner was very friendly, and it was obvious he puts a lot of heart into the business.

Not much to say. The Rare steak pho is delicious, the spring rolls are delicious, and the egg rolls are delicious. We came here twice over the weekend (we were visiting friends in CO) because it was so good, and amazing in the cold weather. Would recommend to anyone who likes Pho or soup in general.

Considering my dad's girlfriend is FROM Vietnam, I have very high standards on "good" pho. This place has the absolute best pho I've ever had. The lemongrass tofu noodle bowl is also fantastic, and their homemade boba is amazing! Try the taro or mango if you're feeling fruity... you won't regret it!

This place is awesome--the best Pho I have had in Colorado. The broth is consistently flavorful and clear; I typically get the #11 rare steak pho. The noodles are perfectly cooked each time and in addition to the basil, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapenos, there is another green provided that is REALLY tasty, Almost an anise type flavor from a green, that you typically do not see at other pho places. The owner is there All the time, making sure everyone is happy, and this place has the most loyal following of any restaurant I go to.

This place changed my perspective on pho. I have had pho a few times in the past thought, "ehh, it's ok" But this time I really enjoyed it. Now I see the appeal. Also I ordered the large not realizing how huge the bowls are. Nevertheless I'm proud to say I finished it. By finished it I mean the solid stuff not the broth. Seriously, it's like a half a gallon of hot broth. Great tasting food, huge portion, and reasonable prices. That's what I'm talking bout. Huge fan! By the way I got the one with the rare steak and flank.

I found this place because of the good yelp reviews and let me say it was well worth the stop. Living in the bay area, California I get access to pretty good Vietnamese food and this was right up there with the best of them. The location is in a business area so it is easy to get in and out, atmosphere is very casual and the service was fast. Food was superb! Recommend for sure.

Best Pho Restaurant in Denver. The friendly staff is awesome. The base soup broth is very well balanced with just the right touch of anise. #16 is my favorite. No skimping on the meats and tendon. Love the secret menu, usually served on the weekends. The chef has several variations on traditional Vietnamese dishes. He'll sit right down with you and review his specials such as shaken beef! Try the chicken salad with shrimp toast. Just plain exceptional. Plan on sharing or take home. The iced Vietnamese coffee is excellent. Top off your meal with a boba drink. I add in the jelly cubes w/ the boba. The cream on top adds an extra richness that I usually opt out. You will not go away hungry.

The pho here is great. If you're looking for a Vietnamese soup place outside of the Little Saigon area of Denver, this is the place to go. I go to school at the Anshutz campus and it's just a hop and a skip away. Be wary though, it gets pretty busy during meal times, so come early or go a little later to ensure there's not a long wait. I have also called in for a catering order. I initially asked for egg rolls to go and the owner was nice enough to tell me that although he'd be happy to make them for me, he suggested another item on the menu because the egg rolls are best when eaten fresh from the kitchen and don't travel well. I appreciated his honesty and happily took his suggestion. All in all, this is a great place if you're in Aurora looking for a good hot bowl of pho or just have a hankering for Vietnamese food.

My "goto" Vietnamese Pho establishment in the U S of A! I'm from California and am currently salivating so please go in and have some Pho for me! The staff cares about their customers and the owner, Duy Linh is one of the most genuine people I have met. I found Pho 888 during my first business trip to Colorado. The food was so delicious I didn't want to head back home. Fortunately, I got the opportunity to visit Colorado two more times and this is the only place I'd go to for lunch. I've dined here 15+ times and the food has never disappointed me. Their Pho and broth is unlike any other. I have yet to find such a delicious place in California. That being said, I would travel to Colorado just to eat their Pho again. This place is just that good...

Phonatic! 1. Its spacious and clean 2. Service is quick and friendly 3. Pho soup base is balanced nicely. 4. Noodle and meat is cooked to perfection 5. Plenty of parking. * skimpy on thai basil and sprouts. For two of us, they brought enough for one. I could always asked for more but didn't. Just like all other pho restaurants in Denver, they definitely re-serve unused lime as one can tell the difference of fresh cut ones and washed ones.

Ever since I introduced my boyfriend to pho, we frequent a lot of pho spots...and this is the ABSOLUTE BEST we have had thus far! Pho 95 is pretty close behind! Not only is the broth perfectly seasoned and flavorful, the cuts of meat are tender and plentiful. All of the dishes on the menu are equally as good, and if your lucky, you might get to try some items that aren't featured. Staff and service are super friendly and the owner frequently stops to chat with customers. We are regulars here now, and the food quality is always excellent and fresh. Bobas here are also some of the best I've had too, most are made from real fruit, no powder mixes!

9 of us stopped here after we landed at DEN on our way to Breck/Vail, they were closing early because of the impending snow, but I called to let them know we were on our way looking for a good hot meal, and they were super kind and accommodating and waited for us! We are all from SF Bay Area, where there are fantastic pho places galore... This place could be dropped in SF as-is and make a killing. 5 stars for service - the owner is awesome and friendly and makes great recommendations - he is also a famous singer in Vietnam. The waiters are friendly and attentive. 5 stars for food - pho broth was very flavorful and they give plenty of sprouts and basil, lotus salad was AMAZING, never had anything like that before, simply delicious! *Note that Lotus salad is on their secret menu, you'll need to call ahead to make sure they have the ingredients that day to make it. Must try their boba smoothies. We tried pretty much all of them and avocado, taro, red bean, were the faves. They also have durian for the adventurous eaters. All made from fresh fruit, not that gross powder stuff. 5 stars for price. Very unassuming place and lack of ambiance means they have to keep prices low. 3 stars for ambiance. Feels like a brightly lit cafeteria, but there's definitely a lot of character to it. Not a romantic setting for a date or anything like that.

This pho spot is the place to go, we come here often and it consistently puts out great dishes with speedy attentive service. Whether you're getting pho, a rice dish, or a specialty bun bo hue on the weekend, it doesn't really matter what you get here, everything on the menu is a pretty solid choice. If the chef has time he will also come out and converse with his patrons to make sure everyone is enjoying his food. So every now and then you'll see him playing with a patron's baby or just trying to make conversation and is personable. I'm not feeling full and overstuffed from the meals here and the boba drinks are fresh, my favorite is the Avocado boba but their honeydew is good as well, they use real fruit as well which is always a good thing in my book. And if you're feeling a little adventurous try the durian boba, personally it's not for me but they also use real durian and the flavor (and smell) is there! Overall this place is pretty good and we keep coming back for more!

I am a pho snob. I just am. I crave pho all the pho-rickin time and I am in a mission to find the BEST pho I can find. So, after reading all the rave reviews on here, I thought, "why not?" So it may not be the best pho I have ever had, but the broth was good. It was loaded with tons cauliflower, which I am not a huge fan of. Where's my broccoli and bok choy?? The service was really really great, the guys there are really helpful and friendly, and the boba was AMAZING. If you aren't a fan of pho, just come in and get an avocado boba. Yes, avocado. Who woulda thought?

Great restaurant. Owner is a great guy. And he is the best wedding caterer in Denver! I have attended several weddings catered by him... they've all been incredible. The Pho is adequate. What I love about the food is the attention to detail... when you eat the bamboo & duck noodle soup... the salad that comes with it is finely chopped and premixed in an awesome nuoc mam sauce. His bun bo hue is awesome (but only served on weekends... and they run out often)... very fragrant and well balanced.

Came here because it was too cold in denver. Good customer service unlike most asian restaurants. Their broth was a little sweet, something I don't find common back in the Bay Area. Their large bowl is pretty big and they give a lot of meat. Price is about the same around $8/$9 a bowl.

Every time I eat this pho I'm amazed at how perfect a bowl it is. It is the only pho I eat with no hoisin sauce, no lime, and no sriracha - because it is that perfect. It's truly perfect. There are no other words. Just. Perfect.

It's one of our favorite Pho place in Denver. The 1st time my boyfriend and I came, it was during busy lunch time and the staffs were still quite helpful, efficient and friendly. The rice noodle and the soup weren't as good as the 2nd time we tried though. The 2nd time we came, it was before normal lunch hour and the staff was so attentive that he asked if we wanted extra sprouts since we kept putting them in both of our bowls. The rice noodle and soup were so fresh. And I love the flank and chili sauce. Not the chili paste in the bottle though. We will definitely come again and especially it's on the way to/from the airport.

This is a fantastic, authentic Vietnamese restaurant and a weekly staple for my friends and I. The food is fresh, tasty, and healthy. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, while the staff are friendly and attentive. My only request is that the vegetarian pho be made with a vegetarian broth as they currently use chicken or beef for their tofu soup. Vegetarians: you must try the lemongrass vermicelli noodle bowl. It's exquisite! If the chef is in, and the jolly fellow likes to do the rounds and chat with the guests, ask him for the special vegetarian curry that's not on the menu.

This is my favorite pho place in Denver, it is my go to every time I visit from Arizona. As a pho enthusiast who has tasted many of the supposedly, best Vietnamese restaurants in California, this place is definitely on par. I ordered the pho dac biet extra large and my sisters ordered the bun bo hue which is limited to the weekends I believe and also runs out quickly due to high demand. The pho broth is clean and tasty, and not as greasy as most pho places. They can add the broth oil (nuc beo) if requested. Aside from the tasty broth and fresh meat, they are very generous with the side of very fresh basil, and ngo gai (traditional pho garnish) which is an absolute must for a restaurant that is serious about their pho. I was also very impressed that the chef/owner comes out and checks to see that his customers are happy with the food. He seemed to really enjoy his art of cooking. The durian boba is also a must try, they used real durian!

Sure..another Pho place. What's there to write! But this is the closest one to the airport, and all those hotels by the airport. So whenever one of my out of town clients ask for PHO, this is it. If you want REAL vietnamese food in the great State of Colorado, you may have to go to Federal, the epicenter of Vietnam cuisine. However, 888 achieves more than one would expect from 'just another' pho restaurant. This place earns 5 stars due to the following: 1. GREAT prices - a must for what is a staple food to many folks. 2. LOCATION - no other decent PHO restaurant that I know of close by the Airport. 3. CLEANLINESS & SERVICE - the staffs work fast and there were at least 2 attendants per table whenever we were there. 4. GREAT FOOD - well doh! The food is comparable to Pho 95 or other top pho joints. Volume is good. 5. The VIETNAMESE HABITAT.. woohoo saved me a roundtrip ticket cost to Vietnam! I mean - dirty fish tank, check! Vietful wall decoration, check! Wait staffs yell at each other (not necessarily angry), check! 90s techno music, check! What more can you ask for? Authentic Pho bowl, techno music, authentic waitstaff.. feel like in downtown Saigon all over again! Some friends are scared of this place..but I am hardcore!

I have been to Pho restraurants all over the Denver area. Pho 888's broth is one of my favorites. Very clean taste. Their side vege's are always fresh. The staff is awesome. I go here so much with my GF that they know our orders rofl..

After attempting to go to Pho Duy II, seeing it got relocated, then visiting the new location only to be greeted by a "Coming Soon!" sign, we found Pho 888 nearby. We were glad to have found this place because this place definitely curbed my craving for broth. And the service here, especially in comparison to the traditional Vietnamese restaurants I visit in California (I'm originally a CA girl), is infinitely better. They take your order with a smile, they joke with you, they're helpful and responsive when you wave them down for some assistance or service. The broth was really tasty. But the meat was tough and chewy. It also took quite a while to get our food, which was unfortunate since we were on our way to the airport. I'll be back to try some more dishes if we're ever back in the area but will try the many other Vietnamese restaurants before we come back! Friendly service though for sure!

With gas prices being inconsistent, Pho 95, is a bit far away to venture to. I stumbled upon this place by my peer yelpers and have found it to be pretty good. I'm no pho connoisseur, but this place gets the job done. The restaurant appears clean, the service is fast and friendlier compared to other Asian restaurants. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (special pho) which included a variety of meats. One can also customize the meats they want in their soups for no extra cost. My medium bowl was $6.50, the amounts of noodles in the soup were equivalent to a small, but I can't complain with the quantity of meat given to me. Lastly, I like his place because I did not feel like I overdosed on MSG like some other pho places one visits. The dazed, confused feeling after eating at a clear broth pho place. Try it for yourself...

Pho 0888 is consistently good. its a great Vietnamese noodle house. The also serve Bun and Boba drinks. It's kind of a secret. The broth is excellent. I get rare steak and spring rolls. They are quick and tasty. If your going to get boba order it first because I takes them a while. It's the only thing on the menu not turnkey. Probably why it's do good!

Garnish is sometimes brown. 3rd best place for pho. Best one is on federal. Customer service could be better. Went in here & waiter tells me,"it's real meat".. Wtf. Isn't it suppose to be?!

On a cold fall day, this place was just packed at lunch. Siting was fast, food service was fast and my dish, grilled chicken and noodles was quit tasty and well done. Good value for the buck! My only issue and pet peeve was a long wait for the bill of fare, so much so I had to hunt down my waiter.

We stopped by after a ski trip and on the way to the airport for some much needed Asian food. I have mixed feelings about this place. There were some dishes I liked and some I didn't. For appetizers, we tried the goi ga (chicken salad). This would have been really good except they put way too much fish sauce in it so it turned out to be really salty. It also comes with fried shrimp chips which you usually have to ask for at other restaurants. Spring rolls - these were ok. The pork was slightly overcooked so tasted dry. Pho - The meats were good but the most important thing is the broth which was bland and not beef-y enough for me and the main five spices weren't very pronounced. Boba - YUM!! Their boba drinks tasted really fresh without that artificial powder flavoring nonsense that some places use. Friendly staff, decent enough to satiate pho cravings, but average overall.

I am still super full and it has been almost 2 hours since I ate there! Tonight I had my normal Spring Roll, shrimp and pork, and it was very good! I split my appetizer with a co worker, I wish I wouldn't have, I would have ate both of them! Pho! I was seriously like what the Pho! This is a huge bowl! I got their #10 Bowl of Pho, it has everything in it, meatballs, rare steak, tripe, tendon, everything! I went on a limb and got double meat and double noodle....some places this is the perfect amount. Not here, it was more than I should have ordered! It was Un-Pho-gettable! There was sooo much meat and soooo many noodles. I got through most of the bowl, I forced myself to eat it all. It was delicious! The owner was a nice guy, he talked to us and informed us on the weekends he cooks more of a "traditional" fare. But I was still happy I had dinner there. Maybe for lunch I will head back and get some Bun! Price was decent, it was 25 bucks for two of us to eat!

Big bowl of steaming pho and Vietnamese egg rolls all for a good price. Asked for no tripe but it was in there anyways, picked it out as I went though. Combination vermicelli bowl was also very good.

Good food, fast service. They want to make sure you're taken care of. The owner of this restaurant got it right. We go out of our way, pass many other restaurants and drive 30 miles just to eat at this one. You won't be disappointed. Mango and Taro are the best boba drinks, try one if you haven't.

  • Veronica H.

We have been going there quite often with our office staff, at least once a week and service and food is great. However, last time we went there a cockroach came out of the trim and was crawling on the wall just above our table. Not sure if this is normal in the restauants, but I just imagined it crawling around on the the dishes in the kitchen, condiments on the clients tables and got grossed out. Not sure I am goint there again.

The number 32 with fried rice and a fried egg on top is just... Amazing. The Thai tea is amazing as well. We're definitely sold on this place! I definitely recommend giving it a try!

  • Tara M.

It was finally explained why the boba comes out at the end of the meal: because the chef himself prepares the boba from scratch because fresh ingredients are used. I'm willing to wait in order to get this high level of quality. Also, the next time I ate here, the service was much more prompt despite being during lunch rush, indicating they are either improving in this area (or my last visit was not reflective of their normal level of service).

    (4)
  • Steven W.

The pho is just great we love eating there when ever we get a chance. Out of the pho restaurants that we have been this is the best and to finish the meal the boba is really good to. You just have to find out which one you like and the staff is very friendly. Just remember to those that haven't been here before go up to the back to pay don't wait around for it

To start this out me and one of my good friends love pho and we love going around and trying different restaurants. On this day we decided to come on in and give it a try. I got the usual combination pho with an iced Vietnamese coffee while he got the meatball pho with a boba. The broth was fantastically sweet and everything cooked to perfection. It was so good I almost didn't add the sriracha and hoisin it was that good but I couldn't not add it. The service was fantastic. The staff was on top of it and never left any cup of water or customer unattended. They seem like they thoroughly enjoy what they do and that makes it an awesome environment. I don't know who this man was and I should've gotten his name but he came over and had conversation with us and helped my friend choose a new boba flavor. He brought me out a sample and needless to say I'll be coming back in the near future and requesting the taro boba. Fantastic service and fantastic people and fantastic food.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to. The food is delicious, the service is great, the servings are huge, and the price is very reasonable. The pho was delicious; the broth was savory and the ingredients were fresh. Aside from the pho, I recommend trying other items. My favorite special: Our group had a lotus salad, which included veggies, jellyfish, meat, and lotus that you scoop and eat off of asian chips. I've never had anything like this before and it was delicious. This is an occasional special unless you have them cater. For dessert, try one of the many flavors of bubble tea. Many of them are made with fresh ingredients and some are made with syrups. Flavors I like are avocado, Thai tea, peach, and mango. Service: Great! Linh, the owner, is super nice, and the rest of the wait staff is friendly. Random fact: Linh is a pop star in his home country of Vietnam! He showed us a youtube video. This restaurant was a nice find and is located close to DEN airport. You should make a visit if visiting Denver!

According to the owner, 888 refers to "good luck". I can't argue with him about that. I felt rather lucky to find Pho 888 just across the way from where I spent my day working. By evening, I was more than ready to square off to a bowl of noodles, some won-tons, and an iced coffee. This was the best place to do just that. Their food quality is wonderful, their friendly service is world-class; the dining room was spotless, bright, and open; and the price was exceptional. I'll be back! .

There's consistently bad food, inconsistently good food and consistently GREAT FOOD! This place will provide you with consistently great food. The combination pho is always good all the time and it was great today with the cold chill in the air. Also, you must get the vietnamese fried eggrollsI (just like mom made 'em), but you have to eat it correctly...ask them how. Furthermore, the smoothies with boba are awesome...think of it as a dessert at the end of the meal (avocado or durian). Lastly, they have specials (sometimes) on the weekends (if the owner has a craving for what HE WANTS TO EAT); I have to check their Facebook page...it's hit or miss. Cheers!

So I don't think I'm a big pho fan as many others seem to be, but I do admit that the broth was very tasty. Maybe I need to build an appreciation for the simplicity of this dish? What really got me was the grilled combo platter. The egg roles were pretty good, and the grilled chicken, beef, and shrimp were EXCELLENT! Also, mango smoothie was a nice treat.

In addition to the delicious food, the service is fantastic. As an out-of-towner, I came here twice in one week. Mostly because my boyfriend was so in love with the pho. He said it was the best he's ever had. The broth is so clear and flavorful. Not to mention the meat is always perfectly cooked and tender. Only $6 for a small with any combination of meats. Other amazing items are the "bo luc lac" (shaking beef), iced coffee, and bobas. It was the first time I tried the taro, and it was very good. It reminds me of a purple milkshake.

    (5)
  • Melissa C.

My husband and I have been regulars here for well over a year now. Flavors and portion sizes were great and prices were also right; however recently the broth has been lacking in flavor, quality in the meat hasn't been up to par, and their to-go portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller. Needless to say, we're in search of a new place.

By far the best pho restaurant in Denver. Amazing broth, delicious homemade boba drinks and some of the finest Vietnamese eggrolls I've had. To top it off the service is attentive polite and friendly, which is a huge departure from other pho restaurants.

I've got SUNSHINE....on a cloudy dayyy... Happy a friend introduced me to my new go-to place for Pho, close to work and home, I am coming back for a steaming bowl when it's cold outside...or even in the month of May... I'll bet, you'd say..nothing makes me feel this way... I loved the cleanliness as opposed to a prior review of a Pho I found on Colfax a while back. Just because you are in the far reaches of Saudi-Aurora, doesn't mean you should skimp on keeping your place clean ! The service is wonderfully friendly. I again had meatball..which for some reason is my favorite. I'm excited to try the other items on the menu when I return. See you soon Pho 888 !

I have been putting this review off for too long. I live extremely close to this restaurant so I've been there countless times. It's not just the close proximity to me that makes it a favorite, but it's really the food and service. I've been coming here for about 3 years, and I'll go every couple months, which is a first for me because I always want to try new restaurants. That is a testament to the quality, flavor, and repeatability of their recipes. Pho was something I had tried a handful of times before, but it never made much of an impression on me, until I had Pho 888. As far as I can tell all of their phos share the same unique and absolutely delicious, and additive broth so you can't go wrong choosing any of the pho. The serving sizes of the pho are completely ridiculous, the small is the size of what you'd expect a large to be, the medium is extremely generous, and Pho 888's large pho is something I've only been able to tackle once, and my stomach was floating after wards. After you are besides yourself from the surprise of the giant bowls of pho, next you'll be amazed by how cheap it is. You can come here, have a small bowl of pho, and leave stuffed for about $6. I've been raving about the pho isn't even my favorite dish they have. For the first dozen or so times I came, I some variation of their pho, and I love the combination rice plate, the Com Dec Biet (#32). It has steak, chicken, pork and shrimp all of which have been marinade and grilled to perfection. Each of the meats has its own unique flavor, and I love bouncing around the plate trying the different flavors. This dish also has fried egg rolls, which I save to the end because of there are numerous ingredients in them and tastes are great way to finish the meal...and all of this for under $10. I will always go for the pho over my favorite dish if its cold outside, or if I'm feeling sick. It gets me every time. I should mention their boba, which is really tasty. I'm almost always too full at the end for it, but I've had a good smattering of their dozen or so options. I suggest the red bean, and the taro root. With the tapioca balls, and giant straw, you can play with your food as an adult and no one will say anything. I've been going for about 3 years, and they weren't very popular at first, and I was concerned they would go the way of so many ambitious ethic strip mall restaurants. This place is awesome, and it's good to see them busier than ever. The bottom line, it's cheap, it's very tasty, and it's the only restaurant in my life I've been to over and over again, order the same dishes and still want more.

The PHO here is sooooo good! AND their egg rolls. This is the first pho restaurant I've ever tried since moving to the area and I'm not going anywhere else! AMAZING. Service is awesome too! LOVE IT!

This place is the best. The staff are friendly, the food is amazing, and the prices are reasonable. I love pho, and I can say without a doubt that this is my favorite pho restaurant in Colorado. I come in so often that the staff has started to recognize me, and when the manager sees me he'll sometimes come over and chat. He likes to get to know his customers, which means a lot to me. I'd recommend this place to anyone who loves pho or boba.

Still the best Pho experience in Denver/Aurora in my humble opinion. I still visit at least once or twice a week and I am never disappointed. The guys at Pho 888 are doing it right!

It's kinda hard not to be happy with everything at Pho888. You can't beat the comfort, satisfaction, and thriftiness of a steaming bowl of pho. The freshness of the ingredients won me over, the fresh mint practically slapped me in the face! The broth has just the right amount of spices, not overwhelming. Service is very friendly, I look forward to making this my go to for a cheap, filling, satisfying meal when I'm slum min' it!

I stopped here before heading to the airport for a flight. I am so glad I did. The service was fast and friendly. The pho was great: Plenty of meat, the right veggies (sawtooth leaves), and great tasting broth. Totally worth the trip from downtown regardless if I have a flight to catch or not.

The most amazing Pho I have EVER eaten. The best broth I have ever tasted, and I have eaten at many Pho restaurants. The service is great and it is always a great experience. If I could give it 10 stars I would! GO TO THIS PHO RESTAURANT!

While traveling on business in Aurora, CO, my colleague and I decided to go to a Pho restaurant. Looked at Yelp and Pho 888 came up and was rated high. We tried it and I have to say it was the best Pho I had. We met the chef and based on our conversation, we immediately knew he took his work very seriously, genuinely cared about his ingredients, was careful with how he prepared his dishes, and wanted to make sure all his customers enjoyed their meals. My colleague and I enjoyed our meal so much that it inspired me to write my first review on Yelp. I highly recommend this restaurant.

After our office relocated to Aurora, I thought it was going to be a real task finding a decent place to eat...let alone a Pho joint close enough for lunch breaks. I didn't have to look far! Thanks to Yelp, I was able to find a Pho place that was A) in close proximity and B) rated so dang high. I think the reason this place earned an extra star over my previous favorite, is because they have boba/smoothies AND their service is fantastic. They ask you if you have ever eaten Pho before and are quick to answer any questions you may have. If looking for a boba, they suggest their favorites and also which ones are made from fresh ingredients...as opposed to using syrup as flavoring. I found this very helpful because I can be a bit of a health freak and try to stay away from syrups as much as I possibly can. After much deliberation, I decided to try the avocado boba...sweet jesus, I LOVE IT! It's slightly sweet, a little fatty (in a good way) and super smooth. Momma like. I've had the peach boba on another occasion and it was very refreshing. As for the Pho, it's delicious! The broth is piping hot, flavorful and smooth and the fixins are fresh. Not much else to say except that I have found my new lunch spot!

This is my go to place for lunch. Today I got the egg roll noodle bowl. It comes with chopped lettuce at the bottom, then noodles, then the toppings: egg rolls, some julienned pickled daikon/carrot mixture, julienned cucumber, chopped peanuts, chopped basil, chopped mint, probably more that I forgot. With all the veggies, it made me feel not as guilty eating the fried egg rolls. Now you can get this dish with chicken, pork, shrimp, beef or a combo of all. The dish comes with a tasty fishy, slightly spicy sauce used as the salad dressing. I also use the dark sauce that comes in the squirt bottle on the table. The lettuce, and veggies where good and crispy. Noodles were cooked just right. I ate less than half at the restaurant and took the rest home. Make sure they put the egg rolls at the top of the to-go container. I used a soup to go container so I could use the rest of the dressing and add more of the dark sauce. Had the left overs for dinner. Now the egg rolls didn't stay crispy, expected, but since they were on the top, they were not soaked with dressing. I must admit, it was a pretty good dinner. I used a fork so it was easy to eat. Next time I have this dish, I'm asking for a fork. Overall, I loved this meal or what it turned out to be: meals. $7.95 before tax and tip.

Friendly service, good prices, yummy food, and large portions! What more could you ask for? During a weekend trip to Denver for a wedding, this was the third shop I visited! (My mom was really craving the stuff!) So for once, I actually didn't order pho at a pho shop! We walked in a bout 5 minutes before closing (oops) but they were still very welcoming. I ordered the the chicken rice plate with eggrolls on the side just because I wanted something a little different, and boy...was I glad I did! They used chicken breast and cooked it up perfectly...i.e. not dry! I also liked that the flavor was subtle and not overpowering...usually chicken riced dishes are dumped with lemongrass, and while you can definitely taste that here, it wasn't overwhelming (good thing, because I actually hate lemongrass -___-). So order this if you're in the mood for something a little different than pho! Overall, a winner in my book.

The noodle bowl was decent, the spring rolls were very good with a delicious sauce, and the taro boba smoothie was great. The restaurant is in a strip mall and is very informal. Waiters wear polo shirts and jeans. I was promptly seated and then ordered. After that, I had to keep tracking down the waitstaff. The restaurant only had about 3-4 other parties and there were at least 3 waiters, so there should have been better attention. Not once did anyone ask how the food was, although they refilled my water once. I was finished for about 5 minutes and got the attention of a waiter to ask for my taro smoothie (which I ordered with my meal), rather than apologize he said, "we normally bring it when you are getting close to finishing your meal because it's sweet like desert." They made it and it was the best part of the meal. I had to chase them for the check and took the drink to go. If you are visiting from an area with at least a few Pho restaurants, Pho 888 is about middle of the road.

People weren't joking about the friendly service. It's so good, I almost feel like they must be playing with me. Let's see how over the top we can be with this guy. Every single person who works there must be living on cloud 9. Def more + than I'll ever be. Spring rolls: on par with most places. No grilled options, but good still. Pho: large, cheap, great broth, sprouts, etc. Asked for less noodles and the waiter offered more meat to take its place. Yes please!! Combo plates and vermicelli bowls: Looked awesome and will try soon. Boba: yummy! It's too bad I just found out about this place with only 3 months left working in the Aurora area. Will be sure to get my fill while it lasts.

Raised their prices by about a $1.00 and seemed to increase the amount of noodles they give. Not sure if the new prices are worth it...at least not for me. Went back to Pho Duy whose prices are more reasonable.

Pho 888 is a truly great Vietnamese place. Service is friendly and efficient. The food is superb. We had spring rolls (the white transparent ones) and the pho (soup). My friend had the vegetarian, with a variety of veggies in it. I had the meatball. They bring big stalks of basil and bean sprouts fresh on a side plate. Everything was so delicious. Finally, we opted for the jelly drinks. The mango jelly drink was outstanding. No added sugar (I don't think), just thick mango juice with very tasty tapioca jelly beans at the bottom. We ate a lot but I didn't feel overfull. Just ignore the Mexican karaoke going on next door... For lactose intolerant customers --- the mango is one of the few jelly drinks with no milk in it. However, they like to top it with whipped cream, so make sure to specify no whipped cream either.

I'm putting this in my top 3 pho places I've ever been to, just under Pho Duy and right alongside Pho 007.

The flavor here is unique. If your looking for a different style of food that not only pleases your taste buds as well as your wallet, this place is it. The staff is very patient and extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu including how its prepared. Stop pass Pho 888 If your looking for a delicious alternative to the everyday monotony that American food can become.

I was there this wendsday early, and received the worst bowl of pho I have ever had, very few noodles, skimpy stringy beef, wilted, brown mint, no lime, and never got the hot tea I requested. Server never came back to ask how was everything, and when the cashier asked how I enjoyed it..I told her in no uncertain terms. Her answer was Thank You..Come Again!! I don't think so..

This place is the best pho I have ever had (on a large selection, all over the country). The broth is extremely fresh and flavorful without being overdone. The meat is as you would hope, with thin cuts of rare steak, great pieces of tripe, etc. The appetizers (imperial rolls, noodle salad, and off-the-menu daily special lotus root salad) were all amazing (especially the last). Prices were excellent, with large servings and all the expected accoutrements (basil, lime, jalepeno, bean sprouts, sauces, and tea), and an unexpected leafy green which was also excellent in the soup. The service was fantastic. We called 30 minutes before closing to ask if they were open. They said they were just about to go home, but would stay open for our group. Inside, the service was very helpful, with personal recommendations from the owner on bubble tea. In summary, this place can't be overstated. Strongly recommended for any local or skiing visitor.

My new fav for cold evenings - When I get the craving for Pho, I no longer yelp to find restaurants in my area cuz this is where it's at - Pho is delish, broth is just a little sweet and has enough anise and savory flavors to balance each other to belly warming satisfaction - The spring rolls and Vietnamese egg rolls are a good addition to any meal. Haven't tried the boba, but I've seen it at other tables and looks good. I'm a rare beef fan, hubby digs on the rare beef and brisket combo. Owner always comes out to greet customers and has already recognized us after only a few visits.

About two weeks ago, after 30 hours of labor and the birth of my first child, my man asked me what I wanted for dinner. The food was fantastic and exactly what I wanted. Fresh, flavorful and not too heavy. The bobas are...very odd and delightful. We've been back three times since then and I'm still a huge fan. It's tucked away in the shopping center in a truly horrible location (as it pertains to visibility), so go forth and discover this jewel.

I came here upon recommendation from my coworkers. They have a 10% police/fire/military discount. I tried the pork rice plate. A little greasy, but there was good flavor. The fish sauce concoction was deelish. Perfect amount of protein and rice. I wish they had more pickled radish. Other Vietnamese places give you a small bowl of broth with their rice plates. I wish they did the same, but it gives me reason to come back and try the broth. I wish I knew about this place sooner. Maybe I'll even try the boba drinks next time too. Everyone was friendly and service was great.

This was a wonderful find! The food was delicious, they had good vegetarian options, it was cheap, the service was great, and the owner was just the nicest guy! He was obviously very proud and a really positive person. They also have amazing bubble tea! There were so many flavors I had never seen before. I loved the chocolate and the red bean and mango were really good :) I would absolutely go back and recommend it ^.^

Horrible service. Came in at the beginning of the lunch hour- after ordering a small pho, watched some people stand for close to ten minutes waited to be seated while there were empty tables. After waiting 30 minutes for my order to arrive, I left. Food smelled good at least.

Wow! Just arrived from Virginia, checked in to my hotel and went out to pick up a couple of items and grab a bite to eat. Pho 888 is by far the best I have had, period. I agree with the other posts, the broth is velvety smooth and very flavorful. The portions are very big and the price is low. Had a large pho bowl with rare steak, brisket and flank. More than enough meat and tons of noodles. I also had the spring rolls which were very delicious. I don't know how many of the locals come here, but they should. You have a treasure in your back yard. The wait staff is very friendly. Noticed my "accent" and asked where I was from. Talked for several minutes prior to more customers came in. The place is clean, bright and open. I will definitely come here again.

I've read in several reviews that the people who work here are the sweetest people. Ever. I thought that the other reviewers were exaggerating about this, until I went in on my way home from work one day. These people really are very sweet, and seem to really appreciate your business. Are there better pho joints out there? Yes, but this place is really pretty good, and it's in Aurora, not on Federal! I always stick to the chicken pho, and it never disappoints. They also have pretty tasty Vietnamese egg rolls and great boba. On my last visit, I tried the avocado boba, and it was delicious! you could actually taste the freshness of the REAL avocado used. Try this place for the service, but keep coming back because of the pho!

This is now one of my favorite Pho joints. For sure in the top 3. The pho is well prepared and comes out REALLY REALLY hot, and the flavors are spot on. I had the steak and brisket pho, kids had the steak pho. The Vietnamese egg rolls are absolutely awesome. You will NOT go wrong here.

Loved, loved, loved Pho 888! We were a large group of 9 who stopped by on our way to Breckenridge from Denver. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was delicious. Their Pho is one of the best I've had anywhere in the country. Everything else was delicious too (imperial rolls, smoothies, boba). Highly recommend for anyone in the Denver area.

The food is great but they really need to work on their service. I will go back someday but it's gonna take some time after my last experience. We asked the waiter to bring the Boba's right away because we have children with us. Meaning we don't want them after our dinner..... Last time they brought them after we ate because that is their custom. These boba's are almost as much as the meal..

I was very glad that I found this place when we were in Denver on our way to Vail. We were disappointed by various other Pho places in the area and when we found this place, it really hit the spot. It was a surprise to find out that the owners were from Garland/Dallas area and really pleasant to talk to. I must say that their smoothie fruit drinks were great! This place actually uses real fruit which really makes a difference in the quality and taste. I ordered the Watermelon and it was done to perfection. The pho here was good as well. The portion sizing and noodle to meat ratio was great. Most place skimp on the meat and pack it on with the noodles, which I hate. This place has figured out the perfect balance, which made it enjoyable. I will definitely continue making my pho stops here when I'm in the area.

still the best place to go for Pho. Moved clear across town and live in "Pho Town" (right off of Federal) and no body comes close. Went to "the" Pho place on Federal, you know who I mean, and the food was fine, but the place was dirty and service was meh, had soup before we were even asked about drinks. Spring rolls were sub par. Pho 888 is still convenient from work and will be the ONLY place I will let the hubby drag me to for this cuisine. I am done shopping the competition.

We went here for lunch today because of a meetup's recommendation. It was out of the way for us as we live in Louisville,CO. The pork and shrimp salad was worth going for, but I can get better Pho closer. I might go back to sample the bahn cuon (rice crepes). I found out these are only available on weekends. My rating for this is actually 3.5 out of 5.

Incredible. Simply incredible. We've been to several Pho houses between Florida and Colorado and, hands down Pho 888 has the best service and food we've ever received. My husband got the Pho Tai Nam Gau (steak, flank, and brisket) and I got Pho Bo Vien (meatball). To say it was delicious is an understatement. The broth is perfectly seasoned with the right amount of everything so one spice does not overpower another. Not too salty or too bland. This is what Pho should taste like. Our kids had the chicken fried rice, inhaled it and asked for more! The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is very cozy and family-oriented. The wait staff are very attentive and friendly. Your drinks will never be empty! Do yourself a favor and patronize this newly opened restaurant ensuring that they will be around for a long time.

First pho I've had out here since leaving San Diego. Pretty tasty, so it passes my Pho Barometer. Will be back, especially because the customer service is fantastic. Best Pho EVER. Everything about this place is wonderful...the food, the staff, everything! The staff will unassumingly ask if you know how to eat some of this dishes and if you know how to make the coffee. Really nice- because I didn't and it makes a difference. You immediately feel comfortable and as though you are with friends. I found out about this place on yelp and went back two days in a row while I was in Aurora. I will go back every time I am in the area! Wish you would open one in Durango!

We stopped in here looking for pho after flying into Denver on our way to Breckenridge. We showed up just before closing, and they were super accommodating and kept the kitchen open so we could get dinner. The pho was delicious, with a very flavorful broth. Fantastic service. The food was so good that we stopped to eat here again at the end of our trip, on our way to the airport. The owner and servers remembered us, and when ordering, they suggested the Lotus salad, a special that normally isn't on the menu. It was delicious and flavorful, with lots of great ingredients (lotus, jellyfish, pork, lettuce, carrots, etc). They also had fantastic boba smoothies. The owner provided great recommendations when we were ordering, tell us which were made with fresh fruit (avocado, mango, papaya, taro), and which were not (pineapple, passionfruit)

Pho-shizzle I love pho! The location is sketchy but these are the kind of restaurants I prefer for 2 reasons--cheap and tasty. It's thrilling and adventurous to know I'm risking my safety for my stomach. Because at the moment I crave, I am in hunter mode and all weekend it was for pho. Typical variations of pho are offered but with 3 different sizes. I ordered a medium rare beef and tendon pho and iced coffee with condensed milk. My sister-in-law ordered the same pho and an avocado shake with boba. First, the broth is flavorful without being salty and oily like some places that do not take the time to drain the fat or add too much fish sauce. The avocado shake was fresh, not powdered, and the boba balls soft. Although our service was friendly, and our water refilled constantly no explanation was offered for the long wait on the avocado shake. Perhaps the server drove across town and picked it off fresh from his avocado tree? Who knows. We were ready to pay the bill when her drink was served so of course due to the anticipation, my sister-in-law's avocado shake was in her words, "Perfect". Glad I didn't get mugged, but it may have been worth it.

One of the only places in Denver to serve banh cuon - rice sheet rolls stuffed with pork and wood ear mushrooms, which were excellent. Their pho is also very tasty. Their Vietnamese salads are huge and very freshly flavored - great for a group to share.

This is a short, very sweet note. Everything about this awesome cafe is essentially perfect. The guys who work (own?) the place are truly nice, helpful, and warm. Always genuinely glad to see customers. The restaurant is incredibly sunny and clean. The food has no real surprises, featuring pho, noodles, rice, goi cuon, spring rolls, fried rice, and strong Vietnamese coffee. All dishes beautiful, fresh, killer delicious, served fast, by consistently kind folks. Pho 888 ALWAYS make me a nicer person the rest of the day, and, honestly, more optimistic. Wonderful food, wonderful experience, always. Thanks Pho 888. Many business owners could use your skills to their (and our) benefit

Great vegetarian Pho. I think I've had better on Federal, but this place was excellent. Once the guy understood I was only down for vegetarian food, he was very accommodating, letting me know the spring rolls could be vegetarian as well. They were good, too. Not as good as it gets, but pretty dang good if you don't want to drive up to Federal.

This place is great. It's not the best Vietnamese food I've ever had, but it's definitely among the better ones - and the service was so damned friendly that I'm bumping it up from a 4 to a 5. Several waiters helped out, suggested (and prepared for us) some specialty dipping sauces, and they even gave us some taro smoothies afterwards for desert, free of charge. I almost wish we were local to the Denver area - if we were we'd definitely be regulars here.

I moved to Aurora from Cali for school and was depressed for a while because I couldn't find a pho place to top the one at home. I tried a lot of them but the broth was so light like they made it with chicken or so MSG laden that my tongue felt weird. Well anyhow pho 888 is close to me and probably the best one in Aurora I've tried so far. The broth is good and the meat is thinly sliced which I love :)

I have always thought that some of the best food in America can be found in a strip mall. However, I never thought it would be in Aurora. I have been pleasantly surprised by several Asian Restaurants throughout Cold War foe from the east, Aurora, Colorado. Now I must admit that I am a self-proclaimed food snob. I would only give five stars to things like a Commander's Palace Jazz Brunch during the Jazz Fest or a late night Dinner at Balthazar Brasserie after killer seats to a subway series in old Yankee Stadium and then seeing Wicked and finally passing out in a free room in the Four Seasons. Needless to say I do not consider Chili's good chow. If you do then, our pallets vary to a great degree. I'll stick with mine. So I give Pho 888 4 stars because if I eat there three times in one week then it deserves high marks. My rating is not given because of the place's aesthetic qualities, but for the food and service. As an experienced server in a very high volume restaurant, I know bad service. These guys are pretty damn good. They are very professional and friendly. And yeah, their hygiene is great which matches the cleanliness of the place. This cannot be said for my favorite Vietnamese eatery ever in a strip mall in Savannah, Georgia. I ate at this place a couple times a week also but had a major dining hiatus from there after a roach fell off the ceiling onto the table in front of me. In broad daylight I might add. So Pho 888 is in excellent company and being critter free is icing on the cake. The Pho at Pho 888 is as good as I've had at numerous other better known Pho joints in the Federal Boulevard zone. What separates them is the variety of items that are really, really good, with great portions, and a freshness that is top notch. Among those big ass gems are the 888 Special Grilled Combination and the Goi Tom Thit-Shrimp and Pork Salad. Like a good pot of gumbo, they are great when first served but blossom in the refrigerator into a much more refined dish, albeit not nearly as pretty as when they first hit the table. Regardless, there's enough to feed two people each and for quite possibly two meals each. Ya can't beat that shit with a stick. It may not be Saigon Flavors in Savannah, but I'm very glad it's here.

I've only had the banh uot (rice-flour crepes) there. They were freshly made at the time of order. They were yummy. Too bad they are only available on weekends. The owner of this place is super friendly and so is the staff. The owner brought out a complimentary plate of banh cuon (the crepes with meat filling) just for us to try. There's nothing that wins my heart faster than people giving me free food :)

I have been to Pho 888 several times and while the pho is good, I had a really disappointing experience there tonight. When I placed my order, the server informed me that I could not have my Boba drink brought out to me with my food. I knew that they normally bring it out as a dessert, so had I asked to have it brought out with my pho. He flat out refused, saying they would not make it with the food and if he asked for it, he would "get bitched at." I asked again if it was possible to get it brought out sooner and he said no. So I didn't order it, because I did not want to take it out with me into the freezing cold, snowy outdoors after my meal. I happen to love the flavor of a Taro Boba with my pho and have been enjoying them together for years at every other Vietnamese restaurant I have been to. It is really bizarre to me that it is just not even an option here. Unfortunate, because the pho is good, but I will not be going back to Pho 888.

Went here (being a Pho fanatic) and I have to say the food was excellent. I had a combination rice plate, my partner the Pho and both were excellent. We had the Cha Gio egg rolls and they were actually some of the best I have ever had, crispy/chewy skin and great pork filling. They get the perfect char on their meat and it has just the right amount of subtle sweetness. The server was most excellent, very kind and helpful. Restrooms were clean and the restaurant was as well. We'll be going back.

This is not a place to go for atmosphere. The service is quick and friendly but the ambiance is bare bones - but who cares with Pho broth that is this good. In fact I have been impressed with everything that I have eaten on the menu....but the Pho broth here is Denver's best. Our waiter suggested a Taro Root Boba Tea and I like it so much that I honestly haven't tried any others. GENEROUS portions, great prices and so far (even when I call ahead) they have made my order right every time. We walked into this place purely by chance one day and I am so glad I discovered it. I highly recommend it for the Pho..

Service, excellent food and very reasonable for large take out orders. We used them for the food at my youngest's birthday, ordered 15 individual dishes paid about the same as cooking ourselves and were given a vew extras. I get pho closer to home but will travel to here for the beef and rice.

I was just passing through Aurora when I found this place on Yelp. But now I wish I lived in Aurora so that I could regularly eat the fantastic food at Pho 888. Both my and my girlfriend's dinners were fresh, delicious, healthy, and served in abundant portions by friendly and attentive staff. We split the chicken salad and then got pork and tofu noodle dishes. All were "5 star" level. Pho 888 is a real gem, and deserves your regular business.

I'm a recent but fanatical convert to Pho and I've been searching out places near home and work. I've been to about 6 to date and I really think Pho 888 is my favorite so far. The broth is nicely seasoned, the steak cuts are lean and tender and the people working there are beyond friendly. The first time I ate there I went up to pay and realized that I left my debit card at home and didn't have any cash. They trusted me - a first time customer - to head home and come back and pay. I even offered to leave my ipad as collateral and they said it wasn't neccesary. I've wondered how well Pho travels and I think I actually prefer eating it at home. Break out the large mixing bowl, put the noodles and onions in the bottom, pour on the piping hot broth, slip in the meat, tear up the basil, add the lime (not into sprouts or jalapenos myself) and dive in! If you prefer to eat in house, the restaurant itself is very clean, well-lit and spacious. It's just tucked back a little bit behind a gas station/Denny's in a strip mall off of 6th & 225 so it might be a little tricky to find the first time but it is SO worth it.

Pho was great, the broth was very favorable, very generous with the proteins. Bun was also excellent, nice char on the pork that flavored the whole dish. Avocado Boba was very interesting, but quite rich, one was enough to share for four people. Super friendly folks, both wait staff and manager!

I'm not a huge fan of Pho, but this place was great. Portions are waaaay bigger than expected, and the food was phenomenal. Also, the bubble tea is quite good if you get the right flavors. Some of them are made with syrup and some of them are made fresh, so be sure to ask which is which before ordering.

I don't know many times I have walked past this place in the last year but finally read the reviews on yelp and decided to give it a go last night. I really wanted the vietnamese egg rolls so I started with that and I probably should have just stopped with that because it was huge!! And fricking delicious! It came with about 8 halved egg rolls, tons of lettuce, rice noodles, pickled daikon, cucumber, and fish sauce. But of course, I decided I needed to have some pho also, so went with the rare steak and beef brisket. Stupidly, I ordered the medium. I think the bowl was as big as my head. I ate as much as I could and when I finally threw in the towel..it looked like I hadn't even made a dent in it. Between the pho and the appetizer, It literally could have fed a family of four and the cost was only around 12 bucks. I definitely will be back but thinking I may stick to a noodle bowl or something next time and definitely the small size!! Oh and the service was perfect, very nice and friendly and the place was very clean.

Raised their prices by about a $1.00 and seemed to increase the amount of noodles they give. Not sure if the new prices are worth it...at least not for me. Went back to Pho Duy whose prices are more reasonable.

If you think you know Pho, get ready to go back to school. Hands down the best Pho in the metro area. Great staff, wonderful owner, and the pho is fantastic. Become a regular and get treated to off menu selections.

Me and my wife absolutely LOVE this place. We get the number 15 and a Thai Tea and it is just fantastic. And the staff is super friendly. Lunch is packed but dinner is slow. Give them a try and you'll be craving it all week.

I'll be back! .

I use to come here a lot with my family when they first open, the food is good but after a while the broth taste very water down and the portion got smaller.

Food there is AMAZING! I've been all over Asia & the place is so authentic I expected a a lil Vietnamese guy to pop up out of my food somewhere! Portions are incredible and it's definitely a favorite!

Yelp on!

Great selection of boba teas. Love the different sized bowls for pho why doesn't every pho and ramen restaurant do this? Great service, friendly. All the food was fantastic.

    Coming from Cali, this pho satisfies all my cravings. I love to order the rare steak on the side so i can cook it myself for extra rare flavors! Best thing about this place though is the bun bo hue, served on the weekends!! Try it, you won't regret it!! It's even got pork blood in it (;

I stopped by after I landed in DIA, and I've been craving for some Pho after a long business trip. The pho here was decent, I also appreciated the ownerwho came out and introduced himself, and played a bit with the kids!

  • Susan S.

  • Kyle H.

  • Matt M.

So delicious! Just moved in the neighborhood and was thrilled to see there was pho place down the street. What's even better is it is some of the best I have ever had! Their smoothies are also delicious!

Rare steak and flank Pho! It was yummy and service is always fast. In and out in under 30 minutes.
