We stopped in the other evening after our painting (and drinking) class. It was 30 minutes to close, and they were not that busy. They cheerfully accommodated our late arrival. So, they truly lived up to what they state on their website, "Open late for your convenience". In return, we vowed to order and eat quickly. The menu was fairly large and the prices reasonable. We tried a couple appetizers. The pan fried pork dumplings were well-cooked and tasty. The won-ton soup was just fine. I had no complaints about my Mongolian Beef. Others at the table seemed to really enjoy the Curried Shrimp. Similarly, the Lo Mein was well received by our table. Service was good. The food was hot. And they did not skimp on the rice. At the end of the meal, there was a pleasant surprise. Instead of the standard fortune cookie, we each enjoyed a small piece of coconut cake. It was a nice sweet couple bites with which to finish our meal. I would definitely come again. The lunch prices appear especially affordable.

Great lunch specials and perfect service! Today was 2nd visit since the new owner too over. New wait staff and new kick to the menu. If you are near Smoky Hill and E-470 area during lunch time and hungry, this is the place to stop by. For $5.50, you get soup, crunch noodles, main dish (shrimp is bit higher) that comes with steamed rice or fried rice, cheese wonton, egg roll, fried rice and your main dish. All this served in nice setting, quite and best of all, great service. One of the girl actually remembered the drink my hot date ordered last time. Wow. I usually get garlic chicken and as I remembered last time, it was perfect to my taste. Good job guys, I m coming back again. I was gonna give 4 stars but dont know why I kept one out so Im giving full 5. Great value, clean restaurant, perfect service.. what more can I ask for?

This is our favorite option for Chinese in this area. The food is great and they are very accommodating for changes to meals. The portions are a little small for the price but the food is great. We usually go with the chicken with vegetables and sweet and sour combination and we have never been disappointed. My kids also love the crab wontons.

If you're looking to experience a nightmarish Experience and I would highly recommend paradise Asian café Let's start off with the food was very lackluster with high amounts of sodium that will leave your mouth tingling and bitter Tasting The waitress was very unprofessional cold forgetful and rude I don't recommend going here it's very overpriced overrated after 4 to 6 hours I experienced stomach aches and violent diarrhea

I've been eating at this place for nearly a decade. Their food and service are both very good. I mostly get my order to go but have dined in upon occasion. They never leave you waiting too long either way. I typically stick to the chicken dishes- all which have proved to be very good. It is always cooked correctly and not greasy like many other Chinese restaurants. My only wish is that they would include an extra something in their fried rice aside from egg. Throw in some onions or something for a little bit of added flavor please :)

I had a coupon for a free soda or Thai tea with my purchase, and they didn't bring it when they delivered my food :( I was with clients when my food arrived so I didn't get the chance to check Until 30 minutes later. I don't like their rice, but their noodles are really good.

My husband and I have eaten here several times over the years but I always avoid the chicken fried rice as they are large flat pieces of chicken that are always under-cooked. Well, I forgot the last time we were there and ate several bites before realizing it. I got incredibly sick and have been for three days now. Unfortunately, because of this experience I will never go back.

We came in for dinner at 8:15. I asked for gluten free items, and selected the lemon chicken our server suggested. My husband ordered egg foo young. After roughly 10 minutes or more, the server came back out to say they were all out of egg foo young for the day. It takes too long to make, and therefore we could not order. What?? It's an omelette! My husband placed a different order of chow mein. His food came out so fast, it makes me wonder if it was pre-made and just heated in a microwave. My lemon chicken comes a couple minutes later, Although it did look good, it was two huge chicken cutlets dredged in flour and fried. I said that was not was I was expecting since I requested gluten free items only. The server said yes, it's just flour on the chicken. I informed her that flour has gluten. She promptly whisked it away. I told her I did not want anything else. This whole situation has just gotten too bizarre. She then offered me brown rice. Gee, thanks. If you are going to be running a restaurant, it's probably a good idea to know a little bit about food and ingredients. We used to be frequent diners of Paradise when they first opened. Over the years, the service and quality just keeps declining. This restaurant has changed ownership and staff, and they are driving it into the ground. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant. In previous years the place would be packed. This was our last visit to Paradise Asian Cafe.

Well...coming from Chicago 6 years ago, I've been on the search for a good Chinese restaurant. It seems many are on the west side of Denver. Living in southeast Aurora...they are hard to come by. Paradise is a refreshing new find for me. The food is good, not outstanding but really pretty good. We had the lunch for $6.50 - $7.00. A very good deal! Includes soup (Hot Sour is not as good as East Cafe's on Missisippi & Chambers), eggroll (mediocre) , crab wonton and main dish. Portions are good sized but not too much you can't finish. Nice touch...they warm your dipping sauces!! Definately will return.

This is where we usually order Chinese take out. I wouldn't say it's worth driving out of your way for but if you live in the area it is a quick and easy place to get decent take out. We have eaten in the restaurant and I wouldn't bother going back to eat in but take out is fine

Whenever I visit my parents in Denver, we always make a point of eating here. The orange beef is amazing. Sliced very thin, super crispy, with a sauce that is perfectly balanced- sweet and spicy. I've still not found a place in Chicago that compares. The prices are super reasonable, too.

Great place to eat. The prices are very reasonable, the service is great and the food is delicious!

Terrible experience. We ordered food for delivery. Delivery time was 15 minutes later than promised. The food was cold once delivered and portion sizes less than expected. The sweet and sour chicken was without sauce and when we called about it they did sent out more sauce but it took 25 more minutes to get it. The food was not very good and when we asked for a discount the manager was very rude and would not accommodate unless we would bring the chicken back into the restaurant (which defeats the purpose of delivery and paying a delivery charge). Will not order or go to this restuarant ever again.

Wonderful food and service! I am always hesitant about ordering delivery Chinese food but this place is well worth it. I highly recommend it.

I was disappointed that they would not deliver to my home because my order was 1.00 short of the delivery order total, I asked if I could use that 1.00 in addition to my tip to give to the driver. They said no and made me order more (really). Then upon delivery the driver had no change sini had to give him additional tip.

This is one of our go-to chinese take out/delivery places in our neighborhood. I generally get the sesame chicken. I like it because it is a true balance of sweetness + spice. I have eaten at the restaurant only once, but it was a nice experience with attentive wait staff and a pleasant decor. Plenty of parking since it is a shopping center. The delivery is always quick too - generally get the food within 30 minutes of placing the order! Can't complain! It doesn't have too many exotic choices, but the old stand-bys are done well.

We order takeout from Paradise at least once a month and the food is always satisfying and delicious.

I'm pretty bland when it comes to Chinese, usually only like Chicken Fried Rice or Sweet and Sour chicken. Paradise is one of the few we hit pretty regularly and they always deliver within 30 minutes. The food is always top-notch, for being standard delivery Chinese food :)

I honestly wouldn't recommend going here unless you're purposely seeking out a terrible experience. We've ordered from Paradise Cafe 9 times. Of those 9 times, 8 of those experiences included messed up orders. Today my family ordered 3 take out meals, and when we got home, we saw that one of the meals was wrong (it was supposed to be combination fried rice with no peas or carrots, and was instead chicken friend rice with peas and carrots). When I went in to pick up the order, I specifically asked if it was combination fried rice with no peas or carrots, and was told yes. Since I was in a rush, I took them for their word, paid, and left. When I got home, I saw that not only was it not what we'd ordered, but they'd neglected to give us the receipt inside of the bag despite me asking. After calculating it, we found that they had charged us for the price of combination fried rice (which is more expensive) but had given us only chicken fried rice. When we tried to call back and get what we had actually ordered, they refused. At this point, we're done. I'd strongly suggest going to honey bee asian bistro, moon thai, or any of the other more competent take out restaurants. This place is over priced, the quality of food leaves a lot left to be desired, and they're apparently incapable of getting orders right 90% of the time.

I actually came here once a while ago and meant to review this. For the price they charged for the shrimp with lobster sauce, a dish I get a lot, they sure did give me a small portion. And yes it was well past their lunch hours and I didn't expect that portion to be a lunch sized portion. Needless to say, not only was I pissed off for spending that amount of money I was also hungry and the amount of food I got was not enough to satisfy my hunger. Also, I have nothing against this place personally but what I ordered wasn't that great from the start. So in conclusion I ventured here once and haven't been back since.

Recently, around Sept or Oct of this year, Paradise Asian was sold to another person. My wife and I thought we would see how the new owners fared. We ordered dinner at the restaurant on a Dec Wednesday evening. We had Hot and sour soup, spring rolls, mu shu pork and orange beef, not spicy, white rice came with the meal, and tea. The bill came to $26.00 and change. Overall the food was good, nice little spice kick for the hot and sour soup. Hot mustard was definitely spicy. The orange beef, crispy and tender, though not paper thin as another reviewer described it. The mushu pork they rolled for you, and all you needed to do was unroll and apply your own hoisin sauce and re-roll it. Comparing Paradise to Ambrosia which is just down the street on Liverpool, we felt that Paradise is better than Ambrosia with Similar pricing. Overall, an average Chinese restaurant, good food and service, not spectacular, not bad for the suburbs. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area, but they are about 9 miles or more away from Paradise Asian Cafe.

I love this place when I need my Chinese food fix! The Happy Family is probably the best that I have eaten. Fresh crisp vegetables every time, with a large portion of chicken, shrimp, beef and pork! Can't get enough of those Snow Peas! The restaurant itself is extremely clean and the staff is phenomenal! This is one of my regular hotspots and will continue to be

This is still the best Chinese restaurant in town! I usually order take out and stick with a few dishes like sesame chicken; chicken lo mien; and Mongolian beef all are excellent dishes. Highly recommend it!! We did not like chicken fried rice--- too dry and bland but it's okay we are quite happy with the other dishes that are consistent in taste. Hope this restaurant stays open for many years to come!!

Customer service is above and beyond. We ordered and when my son did not pick up the food they brought it to our free of charge. It was great food too!

The poo poo platter was ok. My wife wished for brown rice but their steamed and fried rice is good. Her sesame tofu was yummy as was my curry chicken. No complaints.

My husband and myself have met here for our weekly lunch date for about 3 years. We were a little worried when it changed hands and things were trying to settle down, but pleased that it is still our go to place. Hot and sour soup is a little lacking to what it used to, but getting my rice in a heart shape makes up for it.

This place has gone downhill in the past couple years. We ordered a few dishes, one being beef and broccoli and I am really not sure if it was actual beef. The color and consistency were very odd, even my daughter made a comment about it. We threw the menu out tonight as there are numerous chinese restaurants to order from around here that are a lot better for the same price.

Paradise is the best in the area. We have tried many Chinese restaurants as it is my favorite food. The staff is wonderful and remember us when we go in. Delivery is great also. Give it a try!!

Love this place! The food is always good, the people are constantly kind, and delivery is normally under 30 minutes. Best in the neighborhood!

Been there twice - once for lunch, once for dinner... Coming from the SF bay area, we are spoiled for choices in Chinese restaurants... And being of Chinese heritage, it ups the ante even further... The food here is what I'd call "generic" Chinese food... Basic, sometimes bland, sometimes OK, not inedible, but not a memorable food experience either. It's passably Chinese food, but sort of the American version of what Chinese food would be like...

This one is pretty good actually. The service is quick, no wait times, food is decent. It beats PF Changs any day in terms of waiting and quickness of service.

We good awesome Chinese near home, Hurray! Been here on several occasions always to go, so can't review on table service. Food is worth a big nod. They also deliver, even in the Alexander and Arapahoe area. We used their service once, and it was fast, friend, and food came warm. Maybe one of these times we will try a sit down meal. In the meantime we will keep coming back.

Consistently the best General Tso's chicken and sesame chicken in the area. Their lunch specials are unbeatable and their delivery times are always shorter than they tell you.

Alan is back! Paradise was our go-to Chinese restaurant a few years ago, but after Alan left, the quality of food declined and the service was subpar. Now that he's back, the food is great once again, and Crystal, our server, was fantastic. So glad to have our favorite place back in the groove!

We stopped in here tonight to pick up a take-out order. The restaurant was actually quite busy. We saw maybe one open table? That was a great sign. They were super fast on getting the order ready. I placed it, drove over and it was ready. The customer service over the phone was good. I had no problem ordering. The food was probably a 3.5/5 stars. It wasn't superb amazing. It was kind of bland. We had a coupon we got in the mail for 2 free egg rolls. They were fairly small, but really tasty. I'd order them again. We also had crab cheese wontons as an appetizer. I'm not a fan of them in general, but my wife likes them. She thought they were good. I had chicken chow mein and my wife had chicken lo mein. My chow mein was fairly good. Probably a 3.5/5 again. The actual hard noodles were really good. They were the best part of the meal for me. I tried my wife's lo mein. It was pretty good. Overall, its the best Asian place we've found in the area for take-out. We will most likely try this place again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
