This would have been three stars if it wasn't for the cluster that the restaurant was. We arrived on a Sunday morning knowing there would be a wait and was told 10 minutes by the female hostess. Then the male hostess came over. It was entertaining watching him running around with a panicked look on his face, until we realized... they had no clue what to do. We watched for 10 minutes as the two hostesses and two members of the staff stood by a table and talked about how to seat a party. Meanwhile 30% of the restaurant finished their meals and left. Empty tables, no host staff to notice that they should start seating their rapidly packed lobby, it was just a cluster. But what this led to was a rush to seat tables. Which was impossible for the female hostess to do because the male hostess kept stealing the waiting list and running around the restaurant to figure out what tables could be sat. This got to the point where we started looking for a manager, anyone with leadership, as this was getting out of control to the point that someone with leadership needed to step in and calm their staff down. No manager. Not that I was truly expecting it as I never see managers at IHOP. Again, it was just a cluster. This led to our poor waitress being triple sat--and anyone who worked in the industry knows that just puts the waitress in the weeds immediately. She was so rushed and I felt bad for her. I got the all your can eat pancakes since I was in a major pancake mood. I ended up getting the traditional pancakes each time even though I ordered different ones--which I like their pancakes so it didn't kill me. But everything else was just grossly overcooked. Eggs--overcooked. Ham--very overcooked. The last round of pancakes made me sad because I could tell immediately they were overcooked. I finally did see a manager helping bring plates of food out but at that point I figured out that this was the norm and not a unique situation--plus they are making revenue so don't fix what isn't broken I guess? The icing on the cake was watching the male host run over to refill the syrups on empty tables and drop the strawberry syrup on the floor. He spent 5 minutes arguing with the server about it while a pool of strawberry syrup just sat there. Then he ran off, leaving the staff to deal with his mess. That was when the word "cluster" came out of my mouth. If the hosting staff (and the staff in general--our waitress was rushed but I could tell it was because she was never given suggestions on how to manage being triple sat--drink order, drink order, drink order, drink, drink, drink, etc.) were better trained it would have made for a more enjoyable experience. They are always busy on the weekends so I don't really understand how they (meaning the male host, the female host remained calm) ran around like it was their first time dealing with a rush. We probably will come back for an annual visit--but maybe to another location. Plus Village Inn is down the road and Dozens is less than 10 minutes away--we will probably go there before coming back here.

Went on Sunday @10:25am. Very short wait. Was fortunate enough to get LAURA for our waitress. She is what a waitress should be. Oh my! She served hot coffee. She saw our table had no silverware and sugar bowl and I never had to ask. She got it right away. She was fast efficient, friendly and attentive. IHOP found a gem and they should treat her right. I would like to have her serve me again. She even served the food fast. I gave the manager a comment card for her performance. She was worth the tip and more. Thank you Laura!

This place nickel and dimes you for everything. I'm on a budget and we got buff cards from smoky hill high (It's a discount card you pay for that you can use at a bunch of places) well this card takes $9 off your meal. We got the $9 off and paid $27 for me, my cousin, and a child. My cousins meal was $9, the child's was $5 and mine was $9. Making it $23 before that coupon and after the coupon, $14. Which means there was an extra $13 we paid. How did we pay so much? They charge up the butt for drinks and sides and the waiter told us cheaper prices. Never going back again. We paid the same price the next day at dougs diner with more food and no coupon and they're much better!! Also the manager almost refused to take my discount card when the card says that specific location. I had to fight him on it.

The place was not busy at all! I had to wait awhile for someone to seat me. One server kept talking to the kitchen to change a order seemed like every 5 minutes. She was so loud every time you could be anywhere in the restaurant and hear her loud mouth! It was awful! Food was ok nothing great! A little overpriced compared to village inn. Server was great "Judy" took care of us! But the wait to be seated was annoying because they were not busy and the loud server yelling every 5 minutes ruined it for me! I will never go back to this location.

Great service, great food. The scrambled eggs were ordered with tomatoes and spinach, but got more of a eggs in my spinach then just adding some to my eggs. Everything else was just to our liking. Hot pancakes with different syrups, maple, butter pecan, strawberry, and blueberry. So whatever kind of mood you're in there's a syrup for it. The best part is it's already on the table so you don't have to ask for it. This location is open 24 hours.

IHOP.. yes. it is and this location is managed well. They tend to be packed quite often but all of the servers are very prompt and courteous. They need to be refined a bit but after all... we are at IHOP. Price has gone up steadly but amount of food you get, its compariable. If you like lot of food for around $8, this place hits the spot. Personally, I prefer VI just south of here.

Standard IHOP faire with top notch service. I have never had service like I did when my fiancee and I showed up. Even though we were seated by the bathrooms, the food came out hot and fresh and our waiter checked up on us in a timely manner.

Will never ever go back to this particular location. Went on July 8th and yes, it was pretty busy because of some pancake promotion. The girl up front took my name right away and then we waited .....and waited. In the meantime, several tables had opened up and she was too busy stapling receipts together to check that out. Eventually we got called along with everyone else who had been waiting. Then the air conditioner was freezing us out. It was a cool day and super cold inside. We said we wanted to switch tables and the waitress pointed out that we'd be cold wherever we sat and that it was 67 in the restaurant and that others were complaining...ok, then do something about it!! I guess the final insult was waiting for 35 mins with no apologies for our food. Oh, and the same waitress who wasn't at all interested in the room temperature had about ten minutes to spare to talk to two male customers.....I like their food but this was super un-professional all the way around.

Couples of weeks back, me and other couple of friends were here for a late night dinner. There is nothing much to review because when we step inside the whole restaurant was empty and hence no issues in seating, ordering the food and serving. Ordered appetizers and chicken omelet, perfectly cooked and I have no complaints about the taste. That's it.....nothing much to describe, explain, comment and complain.
