I love the Chocoholics Blizzard menu. My boyfriend and I each got one and they were both delicious. I intended to save half (small is still so big!) for later, but I couldn't help myself. Too delicious.

The older gentleman who seems to run the place is sort of a jerk. The girls are nice and the place is fairly clean.

I had a severe craving for some ice cream, and nothing beats a good old fashioned Dairy Queen ice cream cone. I recommend a simple classic - chocolate DQ ice cream cone dipped in chocolate. A bit redundant, perhaps, but soooo good. You can't ruin chocolate ice cream by dipping it into more chocolate any more than you can ruin dollar bills by dipping them into a pile of fifties. But I digress. This particular DQ is showing its age a bit, but I don't hold that against it. Not everything has to be new and shiny. The only drawback to this place is that it sits on the east side of a very busy Parker Road, which means if you are driving south it can be a bit tricky to get into the parking lot and back out. To leave, you have to go over to Peoria Street and sit at the light and wait to turn left back onto Parker Road. This can take quite a while at 5:00 PM on a weekday.

Close to the Park and Ride which is a plus. My Blizzard was good just like any other Dairy Queen.

Once I discovered mixing Fanta Orange soda and vanilla ice cream here, it was the beginning of a long relationship. A funny relationship that only seems to happen in the summer, but still, I know DQ is waiting for me no matter how much I may stray to Cold Stone for their high class mix ins.

I came in here with a big order (16 Blizzards) and they did a great job. Love the friendly service and the store was clean. Just wished they would have taken me up on my delivery request.

I visited this Dairy Queen on my way home last evening. When I walked into the store, the young guy near the counter promptly stopped what he was doing to start taking my order, but he didn't pressure me when I told him I needed to figure out what I wanted yet. He just went back to the work he'd been doing. When I decided on a banana split Blizzard, he was prompt in ringing me up and starting on it. Then when a group of about 5 other people showed up, he handed off the Blizzard order to a young lady who finished it, turned it upside down, and handed it to me. I had a pretty good experience here. I only wish they sold crunch cones, but not many Colorado locations do.

It's Dairy Queen. Soft serve ice cream. The owner of this place doesn't want to turn up the air conditioner. I have heard someone complain about the HOT in this store every single time I've been there. I assume employee moral is down because of this as well. Old and new employees working at this Dairy Queen are always slow like turtles--- maybe they are suffocating? It's summer. Turn on the air at the ice cream store!

This place is a good Dairy Queen if you like to go it's usually pretty in the customer service it's okay. I like to go during the day slow very long to wait in line to get your ice cream. No different than any other Dairy Queen!!

1st, its kind of hard to find. The "Dairy Queen" sign isn't the one you're used to. It's actually in a strip mall-ish area. It was kind of late when we stopped, but the customers in there were a little ghetto. I didn't lowball this rating though... staff was nice, food was tasty and price was right.

I love Dairy Queen. Pretty much every Dairy Queen is the same, so the food here is right on par with every other place you've been to. The problem is the teenage staff. They're nice kids, but the owner/manager needs to be aware that they are literally some of the least motivated kids I've seen at any summer job ever. When the owner is there, service is quick and friendly. Today, and the last few times I've been in, the teenagers are there alone and they talk amongst themselves or text instead of helping customers. I stood at the till staring at an employee who was too busy texting to notice I was there until I got so fed up that I actually managed to snag a picture and call her over. I get that it's just a chill summer job. Probably their first job. But let's be honest. Smiling, making eye contact, and asking how a customer's day is probably takes less time than beating that level of Flappy Bird, and it'll also get me to choose Dairy Queen over Coldstone next time. Until then, I guess I'll be getting a Like It Berry Cheesecake from Coldstone instead of the Strawberry Cheesequake blizzard.
