We ordered take-out last week. Delivery took 60 minutes which is a bit long. The pizza was bland and the crust under the toppings wasn't cooked all the way through. The crust was so bland. We ordered breadsticks that had zero flavor and the marinara sauce was like they opened a can of tomatoes and put it in the container - no taste. A waste of food that cost so much more then it was worth. For us to have 3/4 of a pizza and breadsticks leftover and not eaten up the next day is rare. I know they are fairly new to this location and may be settling into things, but overall the lack of flavor means we will probably not be back.

The pizza is really good! Love that you can get one slice! (And they're big slices!) The owner and his wife are super nice and chatty! Loved it.

Finally- we needed a good pizza place up here! Owners are very friendly, good folks, and want to make good pizza. This is not Pizza Hut or Dominos- they have 3 ovens that make the pizza what it is, so plan for that quality time wait. Friday and Saturday nights this place is hopping. Pizza- it's the big slice, minimal sauce, thin awesomeness. We are hooked. They have 3 arcade games in the back, one of which had like 200 old school Atari games, heck yes!!

Good food and very friendly service. I grew up with Abo's pizza in Niwot and Boulder, so I was happy to see this open up right down the street. We went when they'd just opened. Service was quick. Lunch specials were a bit pricier than something comparable would be from Anthony's. Pizza is thin-crust, with a nice crispy crust. When we visited they were talking about getting a liquor license but didn't have it yet. Welcome to the neighborhood, Abo's!

I just happened to be driving past here earlier this week, and decided I could go for a bite. I wasn't really expecting much, I had never seen the place before, and had never tried Abo's Pizza. Well, if it's telling you anything, I've been back twice in the same week. That being saod, this place is amazing. It serves by - the - slice or whole pizzas, and the prices you pay for what you get are awesome. $8.75 will get you two slices (and these slices are huge! Each one takes up its own plate, and hangs off the sides at all 3 points) and a drink. I've spent more for less (and worse tasting) food at McDonald's. The pizza come out hot and delicious (they don't just leave a few premade pizzas under a warmer like some places), and though the sign seems like your slice options are limited, they will make you any kind of slice you want, not just the ones listed on the board. In addition, the owners are extremely friendly and accomodating, ask you your name, where you're from, etc. They definately seem like they appreciate your business, but more than that want to know you as a person, not just a customer. If you're driving up 64th between Ward and McIntyre around lunch or dinner, I definately recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite. Oh! And for those days after you get hooked, but don't want to leave the house, they deliver!

Our family loves the pizza...what we are however disappointed by the customer service at the Arvada location. We were directed incorrectly by the website to the full menu offered by other locations. The young lady answering the phone had no customer service skills what so ever when correcting the error, and hung up the phone when we explained the need to reevaluate our order. We unfortunately decided to opt out ordering from Abo's.

Wish I could give 3 1/2 stars. Ordered take out pizza. Went with the 16" Mushroom and chicken (my hubby's choice). We also ordered 5 wings to give them a try. Wings were good. Seemed baked not deep fried. Meaty with good heat. I prefer mine crispy but that is my preference so I can't ding them for that! I was impressed that they baked them. Pizza was ok. I really like the crust. Didn't seem to have much flavor overall and I like my mushrooms cooked a little longer. I was thinking meat may add to the flavor a bit and help. So next time I'll order pepperoni or sausage. When I reheat my leftovers for lunch I will add olive oil and oregano to see if that adds to the flavor. And/or maybe crushed pepper. I will try them again, maybe for lunch to see if a meaty pizza does the trick. We picked up rather than have delivery so I could check out the place to make sure it was clean. Cute quaint restaurant. Clean inside and I would stop in and have lunch. And check their website for coupons.

I recently stopped in after I saw the old wine tasting place moved out and Abo's moved in. This pizza is as good as its going to get!! I couldn't be happier to have a fresh out of the oven hotspot here in Arvada. Resonably priced, by the slice, combo, or whole pizza pies! All taxes included so what you see on the menu is what you pay! Great little spot, nice environment, it's definitely here to stay! The owner was very friendly and gave a good history of Abo's which actually started its claim to fame on The Hill in Boulder, CO. Abo's is in Colorado only and we couldn't be happier it's right in our neighborhood! Swing down there and grab a bite! You won't be disappointed!

NOT a good experience. The person taking our order looked like she'd rather be sleeping. Then, my husband ordered a slice of pizza with mushroom and sausage - simple, yes? We were told they they were out of slices, that they had run out of pizzas with sausage and mushroom that could sold as a slice. This was at 6pm on a Friday night. She was very matter-of-fact, not concerned at all that the first item on their menu is pizza by the slice, yet they're not able to offer a simple slice of pizza. We spent $40 for a small pizza with pineapple and a quarter of it was supposed to accommodate the sausage/mushroom (but they messed it up) - and a medium cheese pizza plus three drinks and a water. $40. It took a long time for them to serve up the expensive pizzas, and they were fine. I'll not return to this restaurant because I don't think these people know how to run a pizza joint!

So glad these guys are here. Abo's fills a massive culinary void in rapidly-expanding west Arvada. After weeks of forlorn drive-bys, I was finally able earlier today to grab a slice of pepperoni and an ice cold can of soda. In short, my big, fat cheesy slice was just what the doctor ordered: crisp and hot, really like their crust and sauce, so big I had to fold it. Just like the pizza of my youth in New Jersey. Bravo Abo's ... I'll be back and soon!

Looking for a new pizza place in Arvada, another one disappoints before I can even try. They do not deliver 3.7 miles away. They may be able to during the week I was told, but too busy tonight. Hmmmm? Not saying I am lazy, but it is the kind of night we wanted delivery. At least they tried to be nice on the phone...

My 3rd visit to Abo's is a delivery visit. The pizza I ordered arrived steaming and in about 30 minutes; via the owner! Their service is fast and friendly! The food is SO good...their pizza is as close to New York as you can get here in CO. The salads are fresh and delicious. I can't say enough good things about Abo's!

Very odd experience. Ordered over phone and picked up. Ordered the two topping and on each and every slice there was a few pieces of sausage and two pepperoni per slice. It was more like a cheese pizza with an occasional bite of one of the toppings. Can't believe they would skimp so much, but made a very poor first impression. Will never eat here again. Guessing it's more about these owners and this location than it is all of Abo's but regardless they won't get our business again. Too many other options out there where the restaurant cares about providing a quality product rather skimping to save a few pennies. Never again at this Abo's. If this is the status quo I give these owners 18 months max.

Great pizza! The owners are friendly and helpful, I love the thin crust. And a great patio. Costs a bit more than other chains, but it is so worth it.

I love Abos and I am pretty picky about my pizza. I refuse to eat at any fast food chains such as pizza hut of papa johns. If I am going to eat pizza the carbs better be worth it. mmmmmmm I love Abos.

Pizza was awesome. The owner personally came to our table to introduce himself. He told us that even though we live well outside the delivery area, he would personally try to deliver a pizza if he wasn't too busy. Completely unnecessary but a great step toward telling every customer "yes"!

Finally! Good pizza in Arvada. This is exactly what we needed, I was sick of getting burnt slices at Anthony's.

DUDE Abo's came to Arvada!!! It's about time we get some delicious pizza in our neighborhood. You can't go wrong with any of their pizzas. The family who owns the joint is super nice and friendly. We just ordered an XL half sausage and half veggie (basil, tomato, green peppers, and onions). My hubs is the meat lover and I'm the veggie freak. They just opened up so there menu isn't online but they will give you a rundown on the horn or you can grab a menu there. Oh and did I mention they deliver! I've died and gone to heaven....best Christmas gift ever!

Once again, it's Friday and the delivery time is 60-90 minutes. They still haven't figured out or aren't willing to staff delivery drivers. They have the best pizza in West Arvada, so we tolerate the ultra long wait times, but aren't happy to wait that long. Other nights of the week it's not so bad.

This place is weak. Average pizza and insanely overpriced. There is probably a reason they keep closing other Abo's. No thanks, I'll stick to my usual pizza.

I have visited the Boulder, Niwot, and Broomfield locations for years and this isn't the same in my opinion. The crust had a different texture and sauce was different. I am a huge Abo's fan and was disappointed.
