Mountain Comfort B&B was a wonderful retreat! Sandy and Ernie were such friendly hosts who made us feel right at home, and the comfy beds, complimentary snacks, hot tub, delicious breakfast, and amazing views were unforgettable. Five stars!

We stayed at Mountain Comfort B&B in May for two nights and had a wonderful time. We were the only people staying for the weekend, which was a treat. The B&B is cozy, warm (in-floor radiant heat), and in a great location to get away from it all. The hot tub was great as well. Sandy & Ernie, the owners, are great company, gracious and very helpful in planning for day trips, restaurants, etc. We hope to go back in 2011!

This is a great B&B in a nice, unspoiled mountain town. The owners are awesome and super friendly, I agree with another reviewer that it was like arriving at your grandparents house, there was even freshly baked dessert in the evening when we arrived. I'm pretty sure all the rooms have a fireplace, TV/DVD, and jacuzzi tub as well as wifi throughout. There is also a nice hot tub on the back deck. I highly recommend staying here and thought it was a great deal for the price as well.

I heart Mountain Comfort. It's about ten miles from Breckenridge... which can be a treacherous ten miles in wintry conditions, but on a good day, it's beautiful. Sandy and Ernie, the owners, are former teachers and are amazing. You walk in the door and it's as if you're being welcomed into your own Grandmother's house. We got a full tour, we got invited to breakfast, we got a report on the good restaurants around the area, and then we were shown to our room and told that if we needed anything, they'd be around. Perfect. All of the rooms are decorated with all manner of Colorado fare. We were in the log cabin room and I honestly didn't know there was that much log cabin paraphenalia in the world for purchase. Very reasonably priced. Every room has a fireplace. The floors have ambient heat. The views are stunning. Breakfast was delicious and truly home cooked. They have snowshoes and cross country skis available for guests to use. We sat with the other people staying and watched the Olympics, ate dessert, and talked about where we were from. Sandy and Ernie have an uncanny ability to bring their guests together. Just a very laidback place to stay. Loved it and can't wait to go back.

Sandy and Ernie were beyond amazing at this adorable bed and breakfast. The rooms are clean, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and breakfast was delicious. They care about their guests and are always happy to help you get comfortable. The view is spectacular (especially from the hot tub). Highly recommend this place and plan on coming back again soon!

I have nothing bad to say about Mountain Comfort B&B! My husband and I were looking for a place to get away for the weekend and completely relax. Mountain Comfort was the perfect place to do that! Neither of us had ever experienced a B&B before so we were a little nervous this first time but now I think we will always compare anywhere we stay to here! It was clean, comfortable, we had a fireplace in our room, right next to 5 14ers, and delicious breakfast every day! Ernie and Sandy work really hard to make you comfortable, even making to-go breakfasts if you were heading out before 8am! It felt like visiting family, my husband said he would have paid $5,000 for a trip like this because it was so amazing. Thank you Sandy and Ernie for such an awesome experience, we will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at Mountain Comfort and what a great experience. Ernie and Sandy were welcoming before I even arrived. After I arrived the lodge is just breathtaking. There was never a moment I doubted my decision to stay here. There were always snacks at the ready and comfortable beds and each room has its own bathroom. In the morning Ernie and Sandy were up ready to cook a delicious home cooked breakfast. They had great suggestions for food in the area and a wealth of information about the area. Truly a great stay and I cannot wait to book my next stay.
