My go-to lunch place, absolutely love everything, never had a bad meal here. I would definitely recommend this place, although it's always packed during lunch.

Unfortunately our food was pretty bland or overly salty. The positive was that there was so much food, we couldn't eat it all. And it looked better then it tasted. Also you might want to make sure you are by a toilet the rest of the following day:/ maybe they used too much grease in their food or we got a small touch of food poisoning. Most likely not gonna be going back there anytime soon.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Delicious Chinese and Vietnamese food! Very fast service and affordable. Favorites on menu include noodle bowls, Jampong soup and Shrimp with Garlic Sauce. Excellent spring rolls and egg rolls.

The food was good, light-years better than Hunan, the other "Chinese" restaurant in town. The ambience lacks a bit; specifically, the place was FREEZING cold inside, either the heating wasn't working, or really isn't adequate to heat a big lofty room in the middle of an Alamosa winter. The place really should offer brown rice as an alternative, even Hunan does that.

Great food, very consistent. Be careful if they're busy, they get slammed. Had the pork & shrimp noodle salad bowl. Have the appetizers. All are yummy

Came here for dinner. The food is okay. I give it a two star because I can make better Vietnamese dishes than the restaurant itself. The Vietnamese spring roll they made looked horrid. Too much rice noodles and poorly wrapped.

Nothing special but nothing negative either. Very small lunch buffet and limited options. Not impressed and wouldn't return, but to be fair there are not many restaurant options in this area.

The beef and mixed vegetables and schezwian pork were very good. Service was quick. I was surprised to find good Chinese good in Alamosa, but May-Wa Chinese Restaurant is the real deal. Give them a try, you will like it.

I'm not sure how many Chinese restaurants are in the area but this one is certainly worth going to if you are in the mood for Chinese food. It's clean and the service was fast and friendly. We went for lunch and I had one of the many lunch specials. It was plenty of food and tasty to boot. When we arrived at 11:30 we pretty much had the place to ourselves but by noon there wasn't an empty table anywhere. Obviously, the local folks like it too. We will go again next time we are Alamosa.

If you're in the SLV, this is as good as the chinese food gets. Heck, after the thai place shut down (so i've heard), it's the best asian food in the SLV. Having had chinese around the country, I'd say it's just average and a little bit pricey at that. Still, as a kid in college I HAD to have chinese food every so often, lol, and this was the place to get it. No complaints. No issues. No nasty food. Just a 'lil bit pricy for Chinese . . . for a college kid. Would definitely recommend in the SLV! :)

I know it's alamosa, but really can't get any more terrible then this place. Chicken with garlic sauce had burnt veggies, no chicken in there, just all the fat off some nasty animal. The beef and broccoli was also terrible. Was not beef! Squirrel? Rat? Maybe road kill? Oh, that's 30 days old. Our table tilted at a 25 degree angle, was worried the road kill food was going to fall off. Maybe we should have let it. Hot and sour soup: chef says "oh sorry I spilt 12 gallons of soy sauce in the soup, oh who cares the alamosa people don't give a rats as$&@. They'll eat anything!!! Hahahaha!!!! Staff was friendly. Our Asian waitress was almost apologizing, She knew how nasty the food was.

Hands down, the best Chinese food in the San Luis Valley. Great Mongolian Beef.

I visited this Chinese restaurant at the recommendation of a local, and was a little skeptical, considering there is only one other Chinese place for like 100 miles. It was pretty darn good. One of the better Chinese restaurants I've eaten at, actually. Fairly inexpensive, and the food tasted great. I had the best egg-drop soup I've ever had, and was pretty happy with the rest of my meal. They are never open during the holidays, which is a bit of a pain since that's the only time I'm in the area, but worth the visit if they are open.

I LOVE their chicken noodle bowls (cold rice noodles), but other than that, they are just OK. It is inexpensive!

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions.
