Okay...as promised... I stopped here today on my way through Alamosa. I tried the teriyaki chicken bento box and was impressed. The variety for the price was good. The salad, rice, eggroll, gyoza, and chicken were all good. The flavors worked well together. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. I would not hesitate to return here for another nice meal.

The food was good enough. I'm probably not going to write home to my mom about it. The portions are huge, though.

Super delicious breakfast. Had the vegi skillet and added chicken. Was cooked perfectly. The portion was huge, couldn't finish it. Service was good too. Waitress was polite, and brought me salsa and hot sauce. Checked up on us a few times as well. Also, this place serves starbucks coffee which makes it the perfect place to have breakfast. Have had breakfast other places in Alamosa, but hands down this is the best place.

This was a nice surprise during a roadtrip-- a place with a wide variety of healthy choices. The turkey avocado wrap was delicious, but my wife's beef and rice bowl was the winner. Our friend chose the gyro burger which had a serving of gyro meat on top of a normal hamburger. A good find.

Starving after playing in the Sand Dunes we drove to Alamosa after reading favorable reviews online. We were very happy with our entire experience . The menu gives a great variety. Our four young boys all found healthy choices. Everything was delicious, service was fast and accomodating . The quick service was so appreciated with four tired and hungry boys. The edamame was our favorite !! Hard to find a place that does "East" food such as Vietnamese Spring Rolls , and "West" food such as burgers well, but this place does both great. Our server was great too.

I've eaten at EWGrill twice now-- first time wasn't so bad, this time was atrocious. I have to say, I've had a hard time finding a good meal here in Alamosa. I'm down here every once in a while for work and I'm always trying something new. EWGrill was okay the first time-- a long wait for my togo order and a seemingly incompetent trainee at the register. The soup that I got was okay.... Satisfying because I was getting sick. It was just okay. Tonight, I ordered the vietnamese chicken noodle bowl. It was AWFUL. It was worthy of negative one stars. The chicken was COLD and rubbery. The lettuce was shredded ice berg. The cucumbers were obviously old. The bean sprouts were brown. There was NO sauce of any kind, so the noodles were just all stuck together and the entire dish lacked flavor. Terrible. The poor girl working behind the counter was super nice but looked like she was all alone in the place. She was very polite, which was nice. But she let me leave without silverware and without opening my bottle-opener-only San Peligrino. I give up.

Relatively healthy and fresh option for Alamosa. Was passing through and this was recommended by a friend. We each ordered a variation on a salad bowl with chicken and each was passable - fresh and tasty enough. The place was doing a good business in the early evening on a holiday weekend and at least three staff members on hand. Order at the counter where the clerk is not very knowledgeable but was friendly. I'd go back.

Food was good...the bathrooms on the other hand...disgusting! You gotta have overall cleanliness for a restaurant!

Often stop here when traveling between NM and CO. Decent but not great, mainly just a nice alternative to typical road food, and conveniently located on the route through town. Wide variety of food, something for everyone.

My boyfriend and I live in Alamosa and are always wanting something different from the same old restaurants. We hadn't tried East West grill in a long time so thought we'd mix it up and order delivery after a long day. The woman who took my order and the delivery woman were really nice. Unfortunately the food was a different story. My boyfriend got the Vietnamese Combo Noodle Bowl and I got the Beef Curry. First off, the beef was not sirloin beef as advertised in the online menu. It tasted and had the consistency of old hamburger meat. The noodle bowl was the kicker though as the noodles were not even remotely cooked (tough and stringy) and the sauce was flavorless. The dumplings were okay but were obviously frozen. Needless we are disappointed as there are not many options here and it's nice to mix things up. I called for a refund and the waitress I spoke to was very nice. She said the manager could give us a credit at the store but no refund.

Sometimes I believe the best way to describe an experience is through a picture, a picture is worth 1,000 words, or so they say. I took quite a few here. New to visiting Alamosa, CO and was looking for suitable dinner options after a four hour drive. I happened upon this place and decided to give it a try. Just for the record I'm trying to channel my inner local food establishments and not venture to the easy, Chili's which is within site of the hotel. This night I think Chili's may have been a better choice. First mishap - the menu on their website does not match what they truly offer. Makes me sad when I get my heart set on something and then they don't have it. Food was ready in ten minutes like they said it was - so good thing there, this may be the only. I get back to the hotel (3 minutes) and open up all my boxes. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box with two dumplings, an egg roll, side salad and brown rice. I also ordered the Thai Chicken Peanut Salad - how can one screw this up. Answer is you can! Both chickens had to have been previously frozen and shaped in that unnatural way (see pics). Teriyaki sauce was salty and had to have been from a bottle. Dumplings and egg roll were definitely previously frozen, again see pics. Both the Thai Chicken Peanut Salad and the side salad were made with the cores of all the leftover lettuce. Did you run out of fresh lettuce? Peanut dressing from a jar for sure, not home made. Overall disappointing. Best thing about the meal was my diet coke. I will be visiting Alamosa quite a bit and it's fair to say I will not venture here again.

I stopped in today on a whim after leaving the library. I am glad I did I had the gyro burger and was not disappointed. The service was fast and friendly and the burger was amazing. It has been some time since I've seen gyros in the places I lived and I wanted a good burger that didn't come from McDonalds. The gyro meat was excellent and they actually had cucumber sauce. Overall I am very pleased and could not be happier.
