I like sushi. With that being said, my Wife & kids LOVE sushi. This is our favorite place to go, the owner takes good care of his regulars. I go for the sashimi and Sapporo, but everything is great!!

So bad experience we had several weeks ago. My husband and I went to this place to have dinner because I love sushi. We arrived front desk and checked in at 9:20pm... Then we had to wait about 15 minutes because they had to clear the table. We sit down around at 9:35pm and we told the waiter that we wanted to have All You Can Eat. He wrote down and said ok left. He came back few minutes later told us they did not have the soup and gave us a salad instead of...that was ok.. We said no problem... Then we waited... Another few minutes later he came back and told us they can not server our All You Can Eat because they will close within 10 minutes... We can order from another menus but not All You Can Eat. What? We explained that we arrived at 9:25p around and we asked front desk and we told the waiter both that we wanted to have all you can eat tonight. They wasted all the time and told us we could not have all you can eat because they will close within 10 minutes. My husband said would love to talk to the manager... And the called "boss" was there and told us the same thing... Come on, it was not close time yet, and we arrived at least half hour early there... You still had ten minutes to close... How you told your customer that they can not order? It was so bad experience, and we left and we promised will never go back again... Yoshi sushi has no professional business code of conduct at all...

Bad service. Sushi was bland. And the wasabi was not delivered to our table before being served, then we had to wait until our food was served. Also the sushi chefs were obviously not any good. It is a shame because they were the first place I ever had sushi. Go to the one on Bear Valley instead, service is better and so is the food.

I love it here! Everyone works hard on our orders, always accommodating! Fire, Pacific or 007 are a few of our favorites. The miso soup is delicious and tempura! If you are in the mood for dessert try the tempura cheesecake!!!

This place is a candidate for Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. The place is run down. Waiters took forever to take order and knew nothing about the menu. The sushi seemed old. The place just seemed dirty and run down.

we have been going to yoshi in victor ville for many years. the food is great. The chefs are nice and fast. They get food out to your table quickly. But the service is lacking. Ever since the head waitress left it has been chaos. the wait staff needs leadership. They don't know what they're doing. You never know who your server is. They all just wander around handing food out and look lost. because we love the food so much we put up with the bad service.

  • Jonathan A.

One of the best sushi places in Victorville. You do not want to miss happy hour half off certain rolls. It is always clean and has a great authentic feel inside. It's a nice place to go sometimes instead of all the chain eateries by the mall. There are a couple other Yoshi's in the high desert, and they are just as fresh as here, but if you want a bigger, nicer place, then choose this location.

  • Joshua S.

I'm a regular for a reason. Best sushi in the High Desert! I've tried nearly everything on the menu and nothing has been a disappointment. The happy hour deals are great. Excellent service!

  • Yesenia D.

Love this place!! I've never had a bad experience! Their sushi menu is awesome!! Their chicken teriyaki plate is delicious!! If you're not a sushi lover, get ready for this place to turn you into one!!

  • James Jr A.

I been to this place about yr and half ago food and atmosphere was excellent. I stopped by last week the tables and floor felt dirty and musty smell, the help was slow , the sushi was average okay, the muscles were good , the spicy scallops were very tasty , overall id come back to give them a second chance .

Great Sushi, great prices. Everyone raves about the All You Can Eat, I hardly do it because it's a waste on my wife. The Nigiri is great. Most of the rolls tend to be some version of a California or a spicy tuna. I wish they would do more with their other types of fish. They have A LOT of cooked rolls which are great for people who are new to Sushi, but if you're gonna get creative, get creative with some uncooked rolls as well. The fish is fresh, the service is great. And the Teriyaki chicken is great as well. Good juicy dark meat NOT overcooked dry a** breast meat. Good flash fried tempura and apparently the Miso Soup is pretty good because my wife didn't leave me any. And I love how I can go there and catch Sunday night football and Sunday night baseball at the same time. Applebees, not so much.

Their sushi is SUPER cheap during happy hour and they serve pretty large portions as well. They also have happy hour from 3-5 PM DAILY (including weekends). I love that. I didn't have a good first experience here due to bad service but I decided to give it another chance and now I am glad I did. Its my regular sushi place in the high desert now.

    (5)
  • Rick B.

Too bad the best I can give is 5 stars, they deserve more. Hands down the best sushi in the Inland Empire, Southern California. I live in Barstow but look for reasons to come to Victorville, so I can 'stop by' for AWESOMENESS made by Tom and his crew.

  • Angel G.

Sushi so DRY! I thought it was the worst sushi I have ever had in my life, one and done for me.Went Here for the first time one week ago and the service along with the chefs were just terrible. Chefs had terrible attitudes when asked about a dish and the menu was just terrible. Wouldn't recommend to anyone avoid please. People clearly don't know taste or good food who rate this restaurant with any high grace. They keep erasing my review because its true.

    (1)
  • Kevin L.

Happy hour is worth the trip, however, it seems like portions are getting smaller, and service is just not on their A-game anymore.

  • Wes B.

Glad I found this place as I was just visiting the area. Great sushi on a steal of a deal. Now, I am finding an excuse to visit the area again.

This is the place to get your sushi grub on!!!!! My family and I come here for the All-You-Can-Eat. It's well worth it. I prefer this Yoshi restaurant to their other Yoshi location off Hesperia. I love the atmosphere, and the staff. The other location staff just seem... snotty and slow. I prefer the friendly service here. They also have Happy Hour here too! AND... Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ate here when they were filming Mr.&Mrs. Smith. They stayed in the hotel next door. Ask the staff, they'll tell ya all about it. Great....now I want sushi rolls!

    (5)
  • Dawn C.

hmmm.... well, I USED to like this place until the food and service went down hill terribly!!! Service here is soooo slow and very unfriendly. The fish is always warm and smells bad... Gross! Plus they have tacky signs and posters all over the restaurant telling you that you have to eat every bit of your meal if you have all you can eat otherwise you'll be charged extra. yes we get it thanks for treating us like children, pretty cheap if you ask me. If you want great fresh fish go to Sushi Aru!!!

We love Yoshi Sushi. My favorite rolls are the Mexican and the Rainbow roll. My husband loves the Flaming Jalapeño and our daughter's is the Crunch Tiger. We also tried the Monkey Brain appetizer which was a fried ball of crab, mushroom and cream cheese. It was DELICIOUS!!! The service is always friendly and prompt. There's a reason we keep coming back here.

    (5)
  • Joanna V.

Pretty good service. Our food was prepared fairly quickly. It was good. As I don't like spicy food I think they should have more non-spicy items on their menu.

    (3)
  • Nikki W.

The food is great, the chefs are wonderful but the wait staff leaves a lot to be desired. Oh my word, every time we go in they have new wait staff, so many people looking for work, please, would someone who knows how to wait tables and cares about customer service apply to work here? Common sense and trying really go a long way. I rate the food five stars, the wait staff a two!

    (4)
  • Kimmie M.

Disappointing dragon roll that did not taste fresh. On three pieces, the chef also forgot to put any eel/unagi. The table was dirty and sticky.

Loveeeeeee this place!!!! Food is awesome!!!love happy hour!! Good customer service, nice clean restaurant!!! Did I mention food is delicious!oh they make their own salad dressing and own sauces!

Zero rating. I came here 4 nights in a row because I like the sushi. On a Friday they sat us at 9:30pm after eating later other nights. After being seated we were told they were closed. I obviously complained because they shouldn't have seated us which turned into an argument. Their menus had been whited out on the hours and YELP said they were one until 11 which was horribly inaccurate. The hostess should know the hours of an establishment unless she is in training. On an earlier trip we also were charged for beers we never received which confused the server because she didn't remember not bringing them. I am not trying to have a false sense of entitlement here or anything, but since I travel for work I have to eat out every night and all I expect is to be told upon walking into a restaurant if they are closed before being seated under a cloud of confused employees and angry dishwashers telling us to leave.

  • Richard L.

This place has some of my favorite rolls. The Mexican, 007, Vegas, and the baked mussels are the best I have had. Pretty surprising for a sushi place in the desert. The Yoshi on Bear Valley and Hesperia Rd is a little better than the one on Kentwood for some reason. You have to try the baked mussels!!!!!!!!

  • Kevin M.

I'm come here every two weeks, can't beet the All You Can Eat lunch price during the week!

    (5)
  • Julie C.

Been coming here for years but this time, the food was ok, not as good as it use to be. The service was worse. Not one time did anyone ask if we needed anything. We had to constantly wave someone down. Luckily one guy who worked there actually acknowledged us and helped when we needed something. I don't know if ill be back anytime soon.

  • Steven S.

The nigiri was sliced super thin and served on an extremely dense bed of rice. Salmon, tuna, and yellowtail were definitely not as fresh as I would have liked. Hand rolls and maki were thrown together haphazardly with no regard to presentation. Green tea tasted very weak. Overall disappointment.

I didnt notice till after we ordered that they have a "B" rating says for violation of food temperatures I had the gyozo dumplings and salad my husband ate a couple orders of sushi nothing happened he didnt get sick, he said the sushi was just ok

We started going to this place when it first opened and it has steadily become a place to go for suShi it gets so busy on the weekends we have now started going for early dinner which is great because they have sushi happy hour half priced certain rolls and not as many which lets me taste different ones. After 5 it's either all you can eat sushi or regular menu. We don't eat that much so reg menu is good for us.

  • Bonnie K.

Just visited Yoshi for the first time. My teenagers/20-something children always eat here. They always rave about it so I thought I'd give it a try The menu is extensive , but service was lacking hence the low score. Great food, tasted fresh but server was lacking energy and enthusiasum. Customer service seminar with attention to ackward pauses lessons would come in handy for them. I will be back giving a second chance but with all the businesses closing in our town, you would think they would take all the server complaints seriously.

My husband, brother-in-law, and parents-in-laws decided to have dinner at our favorite sushi spot in Victorville...Yoshi. The best part about this place is that they have an AYCE menu for approximately $27-28 a person (including tax but excluding tip). The AYCE menu has a large number of speciality rolls but also includes salad, soup, edamame, mussels, tempura and other non "sushi" items...always a nice option to have. I love that there menu has pictures of their all their specialty rolls...I'm a visual person. The owner/sushi chef is really nice and remembers his customers. The service is great as well. The food is as fresh as it can be for being in the high desert. Yoshi will continue to be our High Desert sushi spot. Note: Their sister restaurant in Hesperia isn't as good as the original...Don't get me wrong, the service is just as good and the sushi chef at the sister restaurant is just as great, but the food isn't as outstanding as the original Yoshi.

My husband and I are going broke because of this place....because they are so good! We always get the all you can eat and stuff our faces silly. It is all fresh to order and comes out quickly. There are only about 3-4 rolls on the en ire menu which are not included which is great for all you can eat. My favorites are the Albacore delight, baked mussels, Shogun and crunch roll.

Great lunch specials. Always great sushi

All you can eat sushi for $24.95=awesome! We came here for a friend's birthday and we demolished so much sushi. Very good quality fish and I am a sushi snob. The hamachi was yummy and the ikura was fresh. Many of their fusion creation were delicious as well. Such a great deal if you eat lots of nigiri like I do. Everyone raves about the Baked Mussels and they are right. I'm normally not a big fan of mussels, but I can eat these for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service is great and the sushi chefs are fast. I did not expect to get our food so quickly, especially when four of us at the all you can eat special. The only annoying thing, which does not affect their score but irritated the crap out of me, was their big FAIL at romanizing the Japanese sushi. I'm just being a nerd but seriously? Its hamachi, not himachi and nigiri, not nugiri. It was pretty entertaining catching all those mistakes. I wish that this place was closer than 2 hours away. I would be here every week if I could.

  • Ruben V.

All You Can Eat Sushi! This is a rare thing. I have had better sushi & will go to other sushi bars in the high desert, but when I am really hungry I come here. The only negative thing is that when you order the AYCE they pack on the rice so take that into consideration. You will definetly get your moneys worth if you order the AYCE. Make sure you try the Baked Mussels!!!!! Service is good & you get free refills on soda. They do not serve sodas by the can, so thats a plus!

This place is surprisingly good, not sure why it has the current rating that it does right now. This place is better than some restaurants in hometown where there is a huge Asian population.

    (5)
  • Rudy O.

The best sushi in the high desert , the all you can eat is the best deal . 24.99 per person . Killer smoked salmon . Yum .

  • Kasey C.

My husband and I love coming here. If we go to sushi we always come here. The all you can eat price is right and the food is good. We come for any celebration and leave feeling like the blueberry girl from Willy Wonka (super full). Dinner all you can eat is $25 and lunch is $20.

  • Des I.

What is there to say when everyone else has already said it?! The sushi, if done by I think he's the owner, was freaking great! There are some guys in there that are learning so just a heads up your sushi may come out a little butchered and all over the plate and may come a little soggy. But if your adventurous it shouldn't bother you. It didn't deter my friend and I. Service lacked a little but it wasn't terrible, today. Will definitely be back for another round of all you can eat.

Pretty good. Cute place. Really good prices for happy hour. I would come back. Better than bvr location.

  • Cecilia F.

Love this place, only had one not so decent experience and they just made us wait a while but they made it up with a half sushi roll for free. The food is great, always try something different when we are here, havent been disappointed yet. Service is friendly. Better than the one on bear valley

  • Jesus L.

I've been here several times now and I'm never disappointed. Good food, good service and the after 8pm happy hour is an awesome deal! Good sushi spot in the High D.

  • K. D.

Always good! They have a great selection of rolls. I have never had fried sushi.. it just seemed counterintuitive... but me oh my slap your mama (just kidding!! that probably wouldn't go well) anyhow its so stinking good! I forgot but I think it's either lobster roll or langostino something or other.. it's delicious as well. I like the food over here better than Samurai and the prices are much better for a wider selection. But Samurai has good service so I am not knocking them.. just saying I prefer Yoshi.

  • Tracy L.

I didn't even know about this place. It's really close to my house. The sushi is delish and the prices are decent. They had music playing when I went in. Luckily it was music I liked so I was singing along while waiting for my food. Lol My mom ordered the salmon teriyaki and we were surprised by the portion of salmon. We've ordered this before in another sushi place and it was literally a bit size portion. Not here good portion. I ordered the baked salmon roll with spicy tuna and cream cheese. It was really delish. My bro ordered the fire roll I believe it was called abd it was a really generous portion compared to my order. Both of our rolls were the same price but mine honestly tasted better abd I'm not a huge fan of spicy tuna or cram cheese in my sushi. Cute place definitely going back. My only complaint is that we weren't brought any free edadame

  • Jose V.

So MANY servers, yet the SERVICE SUCKS!!!! Love this place, but honestly they never bring out the beans and never check up on us. I have to be cautious driking my my drink because forsure am not getting a refill. The servers are so slow, and seem like they dont care. To the servers, maybe you should go see the waitresses at OASIS in main st. They only have one waitress and shes faster than all four or three of you guys that are working there. I been here several times already and i have never gotten the beans. All this time i was thinking you had to buy them but i found out today they're free. Only reason i come here is the 007. Best roll ive had in all sushi restaurants i been to, but seriously the SERVICE SUCKS!!!! The bar and kitchen seem to have everything under control.

  • Ben N' Jenn Z.

I am giving it a modest 2 stars, after all this years. We have good experience before until now. Food is delicious but today's service was awful. Mexican sushi preparer ( not chef) and the owner wasn't in. Sad that your good reputation is tainted. Don't give us an excuse because everyone is order us all you can eat. You developed a system so everyone's order is by first come first serve. I should have to explain how you developed such system. I guess this will be our last . But today lunch date with my wife is a bust.

  • Jenel B.

This place is trash compared to Yoshi sushi on Bear Valley rd. the rolls arent fresh, they come out warm like theyve been in someones pocket. Yeah cool their sauce is free but its just a no.

Been coming here since 2008, and it has never disappointed me. Tom the head chef is amazing.

I was very disappointed in the service today by our server named Kenneth! First, we came in with a big group and he asked if a four seater table with an extra chair would be ok... We declined and then he stated he would have to clean the table first, which was fine... So I guess he noticed there was another table available and just placed us there. He asked us what we wanted to drink and I didn't even have a menu...Then he handed us our menus and did not have enough for all of us to look at.. Then he took forever to get back to us to see if we were ready to order. When he came back after about 15-20 min, he asked if we were ready to order. I said yes and then he looked at the paper checklist and noticed we didn't write anything. I then asked if we were supposed to order on there...he said yes, but he will write it...I said oh I can write it. Then he walked off and did not come back so we turned it in to the sushi bar area. Our drinks were already gone and he did not notice..we had to flag him down...we noticed him and another waiter just walking around talking to each other ...then we placed more orders and some things were missing...so again, we had to flag him down to get his attention ... Overall, the food is amazing but I have low stars cause of poor service!!!

First off, the rolls here are totally delicious, as well as their gyoza and mochi ice cream. I love anything with a crunch to it and they have a few rolls to offer that crunch. Most of their rolls also include avocado, which is a definite plus for me. The only reason I knocked off a star was because the service is lacking. It took my friends and I forever to place our drink order and don't even get me started on how long it took us to place our roll order. When the waitress finally came to take our order, she seemed really confused and didn't really understand what we were ordering and how we wanted separate checks. I made it simple for her by writing what was going to be on what check, but she still didn't seem to get it until I provided some more explanation. Our rolls took quite a while to arrive. I had so much time, I was able to write, "feed me" in soy sauce on my plate. The wait was totally worth it, but please step up your game, Yoshi's.

We've been coming here for years. The Chef is amazing and 9 times out of ten he always gives us a roll on the house because we frequent them so much. Came on Saturday was pretty busy and the asian waiter practically told us in an indirect way to leave because they didnt have any tables available and was very rude. Came back today, at 8:30 unfortunately got the same asian guy and again was very rude. Asked him for edamame and he said they didn't have any. The party that got there after us got some for some odd reason. Asked for spicy mayo and siracha sauce a couple of times and got it after we were almost done not to mention we didn't get drink refills until after the third time we asked. (I just can't get over the rude disrespectful demeanor he had.) So dissapointed to the point that we might not be returning again. I hope the Chef/owner sees this and is not meant towards him at all. Employees should always be courteous to their customers because without them they wouldn't be open.

Love this place...so much. This is my go-to Sushi place in the high desert. This is also where I take all of my out of town visitors. Price is excellent, food is great and I never leave hungry. I've been here MANY times and will continue to be a loyal customer :D For the people who don't like the AYCE, I would suggest coming during happy hour. I think it's usually 3-5, and 8-closing (but I would call and double check). You can get pretty big sized rolls for about $5.

    (5)
  • Mark S.

Service was horrible. Had a male server he was rude like he didn't want to be there. Couldn't even refill drinks. Wearing all black with a baseball cap. Very disappointed ... And as we sit here they put up Best of the Desert sign. Lol. Maybe if your having a bad day leave at the door or don't go into work. I look forward to coming here but today was one of those days it made me reconsider that craving.

  • Laura A.

Passing through... So surprised this place has previously received rave reviews. Ordered 2 rolls, both incredibly bland even with wasabi & soy sauce. Rolls contained jalapeños, with NO heat. I would have never known I was eating something spicy! I like my cold rolls cold & hot rolls hot. Both were room temp. Rolls should be rolled tight enough to pick up with chop sticks, not a fork... of which I had to use to "scoop" up my pieces. I gave 2 stars only because the service was great. And I'm thankful for the roll they included on the house... though also bland.

Found this sushi spot on yelp. Great sushi and excellent quality. Just found my go to sushi joint in Victorville! All you can eat for $19? Can't beat that

While the food was good the serving and kitchen staff left a lot to be desired. I have been here twice in the past two weeks and both times we had a few problems. Both times we had a roll arrive at our table well over 20 minutes after the initial delivery. This wouldn't be such a big problem if we had a designated waiter that we could ask questions. Instead, we waited 20 minutes, had no refills, and didn't get the ginger and wasabi. However, the food was good. I'd come at happy hour next time so at least there is a reason for the service.

Happy hour is my favorite hour. The albacore delight and 911 roll are definitely my favorites!

I love this place! Best sushi spot in town. Food comes out fast and staff is very friendly! It's a perfect place to come to after work! Best rolls: Crazy boy Shrimp killer The Mexican Popcorn lobster If you come try those they are my favorite!

  • Edgar Daniel P.

This place is pretty good. Service is not as good as the food but the 007 roll keeps us coming for more. Gets pretty packed on weekends but if you go during the week then you should be fine :)

  • Rose F.

The food is great. The restaurant itself is much better then the location on Bear Valley and Hesperia since that one is so small. Service is better at this restaurant too. The only roll we didnt like the Grand Canyon, very messy and not enjoyable to eat.

    (4)
  • Shannon E.

Wonderful food but they need more help when it comes to service. Also your rolls come out so spread out that your guests could all come out before you get even one of yours.

  • Lauren C.

The only reason, why I gave this place two stars is because the sushi chefs were great, but the wait staff were horrible. From the start they had everyone waiting at the front and didn't bother to take our names. As we were waiting, two girls walked in about 10 minutes AFTER us and made there way to the front only to be sat BEFORE us. When I asked the staff if there was a reason for them being sat before us, they simply said it was because they were standing in the front. I was so pissed at that point and wanted to leave but decided not to. When we finally got a table, the girl took our drink order and didn't come back to check on us the whole time. Our waitress was not welcoming and made me feel like she could care less about us being paying customers. Nobody apologized for the mix up or even seemed to care. I won't be going back to this place again and I would never recommend this place to anyone. And by the way the bathrooms were just as horrible as the service. So disgusting in there.

  • Ruben S.

Definitely the best sushi place up here in my opinion! I love the delicious food & their friendly staff

  • Jennifer E.

Absolutely horrible service! We went for dinner with two of our kids after 30 minutes husband says to mgr "we've been waiting for over. 30 minutes" mgr replies. "Foooor?" Um our appetizers.. Meanwhile two other families who came after us were receiving their food. They didn't give us drinks or anything. We will NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND. By the way me n hubby have tried twice before with the same service but always want to give a second chance.

I gave both Yoshi locations a chance after the 1st time I got sick from this place. I didn't want it to be Yoshi's that got my wife and I sick so we gave it a couple more trys over the course of a year. Well that was a big mistake!!! 4 times, YES 4 (FOUR) times I got messed up from their fish!?!?!? I was very sad but what can you do..... So as it goes I will never return. If you stay with ONLY COOKED rolls you should be ok???

90% of Asian restaurants in the high desert are pretty awful (a lot of sweet sugar and substitutions so it doesn't taste like asian food at all, kind of like if you traveled to europe or asia and ordered american mac n cheese and they served you ramen noodles covered with cheese-it's not the same, right? well, that's how most asian food taste like here in the HD) ) and Yoshi sushi in Victorville is no different. We don't particularly like Yoshi sushi on Bear Valley, but we were in the area and wanted Japanese, so we decided to try, fully knowing it's the same owner. Service was excellent and far superior than the one in Hesperia, though I didn't particularly like being called "sweetie" by the young tattooed girl as if I were her 6 year old child. The Latino guy server was much more professional. Food a little bit better here, in terms of the rolls, but again, non-sushi items were too sweet-salad drenched with sweet honey mustard dressing, teriyaki salmon again very thin with lots of sweet teriyaki sauce. Udon a bit better here but not by that much. Miso soup, not good. Lunch prices cheaper here than the one on Bear Valley, I think. The restaurant looks like a wood cabin, with cathedral ceilings and wooden floors, and considering the windows had etchings of lighthouses and ships and ocean waves, I'm assuming it was a former seafood restaurant or a fish and chips place at one point in its history. And maybe at night time, it might look cute with red walls and round Japanese lanterns, but in the bright light of day, all you can see were the blemishes-how old and falling apart the place was. The wooden tables had visible scrapings and chippings, making it 2-toned, and all the cushions on the chairs had rips in them so you can see the sponge inside, and someone in our party had requested hot water with lemon, and she was served hot tap water in plastic soda cup instead of hot water in teapot with proper teacups, napkins were the very thin and very cheap square kind instead of the standard rectangular restaurant napkins, and ginger and wasabi came in small rectangular plates that were chipping at the corners. All signs of neglect from management. We tried both Yoshi sushi restaurants and both left less than favorable impressions.

I live in San Diego and I visit Victorville every other weekend and this is the best place for sushi! I really don't need to try any others! Don't fix what's not broken right?? Anyways, their sushi never disappoints. I'm a fan of fried sushi so if you are like me, the Crazy boy is the roll to get! Crunch roll, shrimp killer, salmon crunch, and many others. I go during happy hour and prices are very reasonable. The waiters/waitress are average some great and some ok. The chefs hook it up sometimes with free rolls, sometimes 2 or 3 on the house! Maybe they know me because I'm a good tipper. Oh and there beer is always ice cold! Ok I'm done this review is getting out of hand! Try it, you won't be disappointed!!

Regulars here at the Kentwood location. Happy hour is a good choice if you don't want to stuff yourself with the all you can eat.

I loved this place the first time I went but the quality of the food is getting worse and worse with the last few times. We ordered the Languistino roll. We wondered what happened to the lobsters? And the last time we did AYCE, the rolls were heavier with the rice. On the positive note, we didn't notice the bad service but the bar was a little sticky. Yuck

The sushi here is not fresh at all...yuck. There's a reason why they always have "specials". They simply don't do the business here to sell all the fish fast enough, therefore, you get fish that's not fresh. Avoid.

I really enjoy the sushi here. The AYCE menu has a good selection and the service is great. Try the baked mussels and the pineapple sake is good if you wanna switch it up from beer. This place is good for a casual dinner and if your not into AYCE eat try their happy hour specials. This is one of two locations in the high desert, if you have a choice choose this one.

We have been going to yoshi's for a while now and have been rather satisfied. In fact is has been a great place to have a night out with our friends. BUT!! the last two experiences one in December and one in January have been HORRIBLE. The service maybe new waitresses is HORRID. Both times we turned in our first order got our drinks and then were ignored. We had to turn our second order in ourselves and wave the waitress down to ask if we could get refills on water and tea. And we order muscles and never received them, had to again get the waitress's attention to ask what had happened, she went to the kitchen and brought back burnt muscles. Tasted like rubber! I think we will be looking for a new sushi place! Sorry Yoshi we gave you two chances. Get your wait servers to a customer service class quick!

o mama mia!!! she had to move to victorville. she's been trying to convince me to move to victorville so i can be her neighbor, or more like a playmate, a shopping pal. she has a couple baits; houses are much cheaper (even the brand spankin' new ones) and vegas is closer. dear mom, there's no way in hell i am moving there to share the pain of scorching heat!!! being a dutiful daughter, i visited her. being a doting mom, she bought me lunch at yoshi. i didn't expect too much from a place where the closest sea is at least 150 miles away. the food was just alright. although the sushi and sashimi pieces were huge, it wasn't the freshest quality. the rice around those fusion sushi was not tightly rolled enough so the end result was more like korean food (rice and banchan). o yeah, this is a korean owned place...duh!!! service was rather slow. mom says this is better than another japanese restaurant in town. boy, am i glad i never ever seriously considered moving to victorville!!!

This was pretty decent, if not great. Prices were good and they threw together a generous chirashi for me when some other local Japanese didn't even know what chirashi was. I nommed, but it was not so good that I went back again.

I ate here once. The sushi seemed fresh enough and didn't taste weird. I was pleased with the overall experience at Yoshi. The service was fast and attentive. I would definitely eat here again.

I ate here a couple of weeks ago and was very pleased with the service and the taste of food. I ordered the chicken lunch special. The portions are huge and inexpensive. It came with the ever yummy sticky rice, salad and chicken. I am going again today for a second helping.

Every time I have gone to Yoshi, the food taste wierd. It's like the Sushi's been frozen. Fresh fish should not taste too fishy and slimy. No good.
