Food looked really good. Was excited to try it. Spent 15 dollars on a salad with salmon. When I got my salad i was shocked to see how little the salad was. For 15 dollars u can go anywhere! My salmon was a joke too! It was tiny! Food was good but for that price and what they give you its over rated.

Great food and fantastic food choices. Love this place. What great portions.

Let me just say that the food absolutely gets 5 stars! I only took one away because the place is always so crowded. It's a very small venue, but with their booming business maybe they will expand one day :) Everyone there is always so nice and helpful. It's a great healthy alternative in Temecula.

Fantastic food! Menu is a little difficult to follow. Great salads and wines from local wineries in Temecula.

One thing I really enjoyed here is the friendly staff and service. Despite their influx of people coming and going I was never ignored. The Mac and cheese is the bomb. The only downside is that it was served to me a little cold. Otherwise, solid solid good stuff. The only reason I refrained from giving this place five stars is because the bacon was a little charred. I got the Argentinian burger (which was amazing) but the bacon made it way too salty. I do think it's a matter of personal preference. I just don't like the taste of burnt in my burger. (I ordered the beef medium well). Really, it's a wonderful place with FRESH food. And if u like bacon more on the charred side add it on. Otherwise I would advise to have no bacon added. I do plan on going back and ordering with NO bacon.

This is a great place. The food is outstanding! I love that most of it is grown locally. My favorites are the Tuscan Chicken sandwich as well as the Chicken/veggie/rice bowl. My husband said that it was by far the best burger he has ever had in the Temecula Valley! The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

This is on my favorite list for Temecula, CA. It is seriously the best walk-up-and-order-your-food place ever. Literally all the food I have tried is excellent from the chicken curry and other chicken bowls to the burgers. The salads are also great. If you want something truly amazing, skip the rice in your chicken bowl and get the mashed potatoes. Incredible! We come here once or twice a month now and plan to continue. I love supporting local restaurants that do it right!

This place has a cool vibe staff is friendly and I think the owner is manning the grill, healthy, local, homemade, organic choices, even the mayo is made fresh. This place is a slap in Ronald mcdonalds face! The chimmichuri sauce is legit as is the shallot champagne sauce.

Delicious, all-organic food. I've been several times and everything tastes great. A little pricey for the portions -- you probably won't need a doggy bag. Often a line to order lunch and dinner, but there's a good reason for that!

Didn't know this place existed until about 2 months ago. We truly love it. It is a bit pricy but so so satisfying. Taste like home cooked food. And if I were to cook a meal like this at home it would cost the same and then there are dishes to wash. It's our "don't feel like cooking tonight" place. Many times we take it to go. ( I run over to Trader Joes while I wait.) What do we love?everything we've tried so far- curries ( lamb and chicken) Hamburger Chicken bowl ( daughter) Chimichurie sauce Sweet potatoes and sweet potato fries Bread About the ambiance: it's more like a little bistro. Very rustic. I love not having a waitress asking me every second if the food is tasting great. Sometimes I just want to eat, enjoy my food and converse with my family and friends. We love that it could be a quick stop or spend whatever amount of time you need. Bushfire Grill is great.

We were driving back from San Diego and yelped American food. It got high ratings so we gave it a try. It was amazing, guilt free, delicious food! There were 9 of us and we all loved what we ordered. The only con is it is about an hour away from our home and it will be a while before we get to have their delicious food again !

Stopped in this joint as a late, last minute dinner, as I returned from San Diego. I noticed it, as I drove into Costco to fill up. I'm gonna be honest, the reason why I even chose the place was I saw people drinking craft beer in the patio. I was craving a beer so, the sight of booze drove me in. I was a bit disappointed to hear that they weren't selling beer, because their tap lines were frozen. I guess they allowed the people in the patio to bring their own since they couldn't sell any (hope they don't get in trouble for me mentioning it). To the food, this place is like a cafeteria, but with awesome food. The girl that took our order was wearing a chefs jacket; my thought was this food is gonna be good. She reminded me of Monica Geller from Friends. I ordered the Original Burger (it's the first burger on the burger menu) with lamb instead of beef and a Greek salad. First bite and you know you're not eating beef. Gamey flavor but so GOOD... I just kept picturing that lamb chop hand puppet on every bite :/ Keeping my eyes on the beer in the patio, I noticed they ordered homemade potato chips, even though I was trying to not order fries I couldn't resist. Boy were they good! Great quality food! Loved it! Will be back! They had a bunch of braised dishes I wanted to try, but I was full.

Puzzled that they mix GF and non-GF food on the same plate. ??? After the visit, a GF member of my group felt the effects of gluten, so the food advertised as GF may not have been truly GF. Reflecting on our 9/12/15 visit, the server who carried the food to our outdoor table seemed perplexed by my question about putting non-GF cornbread on the same plate as GF ribs. Maybe the restaurant kitchen or serving staff are not trained on GF food prep. Nevertheless, sometimes the greatest GF restaurants have epic lapses. Otherwise, the food is hearty and tastes great! We might try again in the future.

Oh my goodness. I like this place. So unfortunate how expensive they are and with such a small place. Went to lunch with just 2 other people and it cost me over 50$. Kind of nuts. Food is good and the workers are nice. Need more room!!! Enjoy the expensive lunch. It's worth it.

We came here for the final dinner of my vacay in SoCal with my bestie Carrie B & Mom! The parking lot is lousy since it is shared by TJ's, Burger Lounge and several other thriving businesses. The menu looks interesting, bowls, sandwiches, platters, family dinners, and kid plates along with a respectable wine list. You go up to the cashier, order, and they bring you your food. I ordered the brisket and there was no indication the dish was spicy. Unfortunately it was uncomfortably spicy for my crazy white girl taste. I could've eaten it but I was not in the mood. So I took it back to the cashier and asked to change meals. They asked what I ordered & why I wanted to change. I told them & they asked what I'd rather have. It was the tri tip. So I waited a few minutes & out came my new meal. I got cubes of tri tip on top of grilled veggies on top of brown rice. This second meal was less expensive but nobody offered me a refund of the difference. Bummer. They offer kombucha, ice tea, lemonade & bottled drinks which is great! They also have beer on tap & bottled wine. Happy hour 3-5. I went & checked out their bathroom to wash my hands & I was not impressed. It was grungy. Bummer! My Bestie really likes this place but me, not so much. I'd stick with Burger Lounge!

After walking out of a nearby healthy eatery( hungry and disappointed) I walked in to Bushfire Grill. What a difference!! Friendly staff said hello the minute I opened the door. The choices of food were easy to pick from because the menu was clear but there was also a warmth about this place that made it easy to order. Because I eat like a small guinea pig, my lunch was; *Fresh quinoa salad with beets, oranges, garbanzo beans and arugula. *Summer baby greens with peaches, raspberries, blueberries, tomatoes, toasted almonds & a light dressing... Finally a baked sweet potato drizzled with agave, sprinkled with sea salt and sesame seeds then baked some more.. There was baked butternut squash that looked really good so I halved my sweet potato with the baked squash. So good!!! There are many vegetarian, gluten free items on the menu. Lots of choices. Delicious

YUM! I loved all the slow braises and hot foods available here. I'll have to try them next time. This time during my visit, I tried the Californian burger and the Bushfire special sandwich. Both were very good! If I had to pick, I would have to go with the burger. It was perfection. Also, try their house BBQ sauce. It tangy, sweet with a hint of spice. Perfect accompaniment with the tri tip sandwich.

I have been here twice. I really wanted to like it, and after reading all the reviews here on Yelp, I walked in expecting I would; however, I was disappointed. Let me first say, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great, and great was what I was looking for. Their menu is really large, which can be a good thing; however, I found it overwhelming and hard to narrow down. I landed on sandwich the first time and a burger the next. Both were good; however, like I said before neither was anything special. I think some day I will give them another try and go in a different direction. Maybe it's time to look at one of their braised meats and rice options.

My husband and I came to Bushfire Grill for dinner for the first time last Friday around 7:35 pm. Bushfire Grill is located in the same plaza as Trader Joes (2 doors down actually) with plenty of parking. The menu board seems a little busy to read but if you pick up the menu at the front, it is easier to read. Anyways, this is what we ended up ordering: Free Range Chicken Bowl, $7.45 prior to tax- This bowl comes with a pretty generous portion of chicken breast meat, brown rice and grilled assorted vegetables. This bowl is definitely a filling meal on it's own and quite good. The chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned. The brow rice was perfectly cooked, as it was not too hard or too mushy. And the vegetables were good. I had a choice of having sauce added on the side (free), which I chose the peri- peri sauce. I was afraid that it would be spicy, but it ended up being quite mild (which I like because I don't eat spicy foods). Tri Tip Entree, $13.95 prior to tax- This entree comes with your choice of two sides. My husband ended up getting quinoa berry salad and a mixed green salad. This entree also comes with bread, which my husband chose the whole wheat focaccia bread. The tri tip was good, but my husband wished there were more pieces (5 pieces), but did get full mostly from the sides of this entree. The whole wheat focaccia was really moist and had almost like a soft cake texture. We both really liked it. This entree also came with your choice of sauce on the side, which my husband picked this spicy barbecue. I didn't have any since I am not a spicy eating person, but he liked the sauce. We both liked both of the side salads he picked (his favorite was the quinoa berry salad, but I really liked both. The side salad had Mandarin orange segments to give it an added sweetness). Sweet Potato Fries, $2.95 prior to tax (as an add on to an entree price)- I decided to add on the sweet potato fries because I was just in the mood for them. But we barely finished everything because of all the food we had. I really liked these fries and have to say these are the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. Most places that serve sweet potato fries don't have a flavor like this. Here you can actually taste the sweet potato, and it tasted fresh and authentic (not artificial with added fillers). I also had some kind of sauce added on the side, which I do not know what I had, but was good. My husband also got a Stone Delicious IPA, $6 prior to tax, which he liked. I didn't have any. ----------------------------- (Total= $32.56 after tax) When we first arrived, there was 1 couple ahead of us and so wait time to order took a while. I think one of the reasons why it took a while is because the employee taking your order ask you quite a handful of questions. Questions include what sauce would you like on the side of your entree or side, what type of sides would you like and if you would like bread with your entree (if it comes with it) and what type. But aside from that (and luckily we only had this one couple ahead of us, but I can see how wait time to order can be longer than desired during busy times), wait time for our food was not that long. There are a few tables and chairs inside this eatery but the music was just so loud that I did not want to sit in. We ended up sitting in their little "patio" area that is covered. There is also an air conditioning unit, but it did not go on until towards the end of our meal. I didn't understand why it was not turned on sooner because it was still rather warm out around this time. Anyways, food was delicious. I would definitely like to come back here again if in the area for another meal. And would love to try some the other sides. Also there is free, fast WiFi (BUSHFIRE1650... password all in caps).

Unfortunately time is not making this place better! I used to love coming here for not only the amazing food, but the friendly staff!! The food is still good but the staff has gone from friendly to pre-occupied! In the half hour that my husband and I were there dining we honestly felt like we were inconveniencing everyone by being there! We weren't greeted, then almost run over by 2 different employees, and were part of conversations about food from Trader Joes when an employee came in with food from there! It's a pretty relaxed environment so I'm not so upset about the causal talk, more so the lack of any kind of customer service! The food is still great, but getting old! My last review was from 2012 and I think it's pretty much the exact same menu! Don't get me wrong I don't like change too much, but they need to get creative and change it up a bit! While they revamp the menu they should revamp the staff!! They need some people in there that will help retain customers, not send them away!

Bushfire grill is life man! I've been here twice and have not been disappointed.Service is awesome with the workers being very nice and helpful, even if they're close to closing lol. I usually come here after the gym because they have so many healthy choices to choose from. I recommend the Chicken curry bowl! Flavor is incredible. They give you many choices on how to customize your bowl and make it your way. Also you GOT to get a side of Mac n Cheese. You can never go wrong with that. Overall, this place is crazy good and will make you feel good about yourself if you eat here. You won't regret it!

Wow. So good. This was a quick pitstop for lunch on our way from Palm Springs to San Diego, and it made me wish I lived closer. I had a brisket bowl over mashed potatoes. It was meat and veg--how much more healthy can you get for eating out?! Meat was flavorful and tender and vegetables were cooked well, not mushy or raw. There is plenty of outside seating and even a covered patio. There are a line of small tables inside, which is where I sat. It's hiding in the north side of Trader Joes, but worth discovering.

Over cooked my burger. Service was ok. No one asked if we had any questions and the group I was with had many. The salads are very good. I had a mixed greens one with pears and blueberries. The food was very fresh and more health conscious. The price point was good for what your getting. The grass feed beef and tri tip were good. The lemonade was way too sweet. Good location and good selection of beers and wine.

I love this place. I have been coming here since they opened and it is great food cooked with quality ingredients. However, I have definitely seen the prices change as they have grown in popularity. I now go with one other person and we each get a sandwich or a salad and no sides. We do get drinks and we can't seem to get out for any less than $14-$17 a person with tax and tip. And for a restaurant where I am not served at the table that is a bit discouraging. I would definitely be willing to pay $12-$13 dollars with tax and tip per person. But the extra two or three dollars has really changed my decision to call this a regular stop for great food in town. It has now become a once and a while great stop for awesome food. See my attached photo for what $32 in food with tax and tip gets you at Bushfire

Bushfire Grill is located in the health-centric part of this strip mall. Organic, gluten-free, free range, natural. I'd read rave reviews about their sandwiches and focaccia, so on my first visit, I asked what the staff recommended, and ordered that. The sandwich wasn't what I expected, and the focaccia is just okay. The mac and cheese was pretty good though. And the salads looked fresh and delicious. Wanting to give them another chance, I tried the lamb curry bowl and liked it. I've also tried two burgers since they introduced them onto their menu. The first (Bushfire Original Burger) was lackluster, but at least the fries are good, especially with the peri mayo. The second, on my most recent visit, was better. The Short Rib Burger actually tasted good. I haven't taken much liking to extra meat on top of a patty other than bacon, but this was okay. Then I realized it's probably because the short rib on its on would probably be the best thing I've had on their menu. It has good flavor to it. Once I got to the back end of the burger, I'd already eaten through the short rib, so the beef on its own reminded me of the first burger. My conclusion is that their braised dishes and bowls are more flavorful than the sandwiches and burgers. I like their idea, but not always their execution. The service is usually okay, but there's one girl who is always really nice and sweet. The space itself is cramped and the outdoor seating seems to have more room. The best thing about Bushfire is their lavender hibiscus lemonade, which is what I always get when I come in.

Delicious!! I've been here a handful of times, and every time I've had great food and service. The Spinach & Strawberry Salad is my new obsession!! I got the salad for the first time today, and it was awesome. Already planning my next visit ...

  • Ami M.

The yelp reviews don't lie. This place is awesome! High quality fresh food at a decent price. They also have a happy hour! The restaurant is super small with narrow seating spaces and outdoor seating , so keep that in mind if you're looking for a romantic place for a dinner date. You also order before you eat, they do not serve you. Their selection of salad looked amazing, I am looking forward to coming back and trying everything Bushfire's got to offer.

It was my first time here and I loved their food or maybe it was from being hung over after visiting the wineries. But either way, this place is worth a try. Great burgers, sweet potato fries, salad, chicken, and sauces, and drinks. I'd definitely come back

Natural food and organic options. Homestyle cooking, and served hot right out of the pot. This place never disappoints. I live pretty far, but whenever I make a trip to Temecula, I stock up on mash potatoes, braised beef brisket, and grilled veggies. Thank you guys for making my night! And the service is great! Very friendly and inviting.

So good we dined in and ordered more to go! I love their sweet potato fries, and see ordering the entrees as just an excuse, in order to get a side choice or two to indulge in my favorite starch that rhymes with meat tomato pies. They have a great variety of fresh, healthy, and tasty salads: we tried the quinoa, which was excellent, but I regret missing the chance to try the strawberry salad and mixed greens. I had the tri-tip plate, which came with 3 tasty sauces. My wife enjoyed her brisket rice bowl with squash. We even ordered a Kids' Chicken Sandwich in order to get some more sweet potato fries for the road. I tried a Coke and liked the crushed ice that came with the glass, but next time I will try one of their lemonades or fresh-made iced tea. So many choices, all so healthy, tasty, fresh, and made right before your eyes -- I will be back the next time I'm in Temecula!

My boyfriend and I eat here usually once a week and, the food is usually great...the sweet potato fries are phenomenal and, I love when they have roasted Brussel sprouts, the only reason, I'm knocking it down a star is for burger temps. The burger temperatures are literally different every time you order (I guess it depends on who's on the grill) I've ordered my burger medium and cut into it and had blood spew out. I was told by a worker that because, the burgers are thick that ordering them medium-well, will still ensure me some pink in the middle...again, this isn't always the case. Sometimes, they will be cooked perfectly and sometimes like tonight, when you bite into it and, it's so over cooked that it is like chewing on a saddle. We ordered our food to go so, I had no one to bitch to besides my boyfriend (and now the yelp universe lol) my boyfriend will never let food go to waste so, he happily ate the rest of my burger but, even said "this has to be the driest burger, I've ever had." That being said, we still love bushfire...the food quality beats most in the area. Maybe I just need to switch over to the chicken :/

Excellent! Everything we have tried here is "the best ever" according to my kids. The Millionaire BLT is absolutely delish and you definitely have to try the strawberry spinach salad. My daughter really likes the Mac and cheese and my son always orders the kids chicken sandwich. Give Bushfire a try, I'm sure you will love it!

Wow... I've come to this place on two separate occasions and both times have been amazing. The first time my coworker brought me here and I seemed like your typical organic hipster owned restaurant. I gave a crack at it, ordered el fuego burger and mac and cheese. It was almost instant when I took a bite from this delicious r grass fed organic cow I fell in love. I've had many burgers from many different places but hands down this is the place for a burger!!!!! My taste buds went crazy after taking a few bites. The spinach, avocado, pickled onions, jalapeño mayo compliment the meat so well. It's almost too good to describe. The sweet bread they use makes it the best burger I've ever had in my life. I live in San Diego county but traveled to riverside county for this experience again. People believe when I say this the best burger ever!!!!!!

This place is a hidden gem within Temecula! First off, customer service is EXCELLENT. Everyone is welcoming and super friendly. They really make you feel like a valued customer. Food - can never go wrong with any of their sandwiches and chicken! They started serving burgers not too long ago, and I am excited to get that the next time I come in because all of their food are extremely fresh. And healthy! I never feel bad after indulging here. Also, I have no idea what the names of their sauces are, but they all pack so many unique flavors! Water & cups are at the far end of the wall under their tv as well as utensils and sauces. The restaurant can get pretty packed since it is a small space, but there is outside seating available also. Love their decor and wooden/rustic kind of feel. This is a place worth trying if you haven't already.

We just moved to Temecula and on our first day we got lucky and picked this place. My husband and I shared the Argentinian burger along with Kale slaw and quinoa and beet salad. Burger was so good. We ordered it lamb but I think next time I'll get beef. Salads were fresh and good. Nice atmosphere and quick service. Most of the ingredients are organic including all burgers. Can't wait to try their other items.

  • Joe S.

No matter what you get, it is delicious. Any of the burgers with lamb are great. Great beer and wine selections. Great for the organic eater as well as the down to earth I will eat anything type of people. Only gave it 4 stars because the price is pretty high and the side portions are getting rediculously small. I love the taste but, my wife hates the price. Like she says, "$80 dollars for 4 burgers, 4 fries, a beer and an ice tea...... really?"

  • R L.

I really appreciate the concept of this place- organic, GF, etc., and a fast casual dining atmosphere. Customer service is slow and terrible. My experience was not so great. The chick made a mistake with my order as take-out when clearly I told her I'll be dining in with my friend. My friend made her order separately and got her meal in a timely order. I ordered a sandwich with a side salad and she had the rib and chicken entree. Whereas I did not get my meal after sitting there for 45 minutes. Long story short, the manager comes by and tells me that they'll remake my meal, apologizes, blah blah. The manager has the food runner give me a coupon for one free burger. First of all, the manager should have handed that to me personally. Second, 1??? I was there with my friend so I should have received 2. Let's say I was there alone, he should have handed me a couple so I can bring more people with me next time. It's common sense if you want your business to grow with WOM. Meals are over priced but I guess that's okay because it's organic, etc. don't get me wrong, I'll pay and even travel for good yummy food. Maybe it was a bad day but I won't be returning. I'd rather get my meals at Barons.

This place is amazing! Everything is made fresh to order and they only use quality ingredients. The burgers are awesome! Cooked to perfection and what a great taste! The chicken is also amazing. Juicy and prepared perfectly. Free range too!! Wonderful sides. Everything is so fresh and delicious your taste buds will have the big O! I can go on and on about the different dishes and how good they are, but you should stop reading this review and just go there now! Fantastic crew of people there make this one of our absolute favorites in Temecula! Oh ya, make sure to get an order of their potato chips. Made right there and sooooo good!

Could not have been a nicer experience for our family of six. This is a farm to table restaurant that is very small, but provides amazing food with great prices and great service. All six of us ordered something different and without exception, it was delicious. We were driving through town on April 1st, returning from Palm Springs. We only wish they had one in San Diego.

Yuminess! This place is great, but the restaurant itself is pretty small (this location used to be a Pinkberry) so there are only a handful of indoor tables which we've been lucky enough to grab each time we've dined here. The food is on point. Haven't had anything I didn't like yet. The burgers are super fresh and you must add the millionaire bacon to any and all of them. The sides are so good, the grilled veggies, fries, mac and cheese, bbq beans with bacon, chips, and their mashed potatoes are all great! Oh and the hibiscus mint lemonade is awesome. Next I might try some of their meatier entrees like the tri tip, ribs, or half chicken but I love the burgers so much I'm not sure I can deviate.

Great food! I had the En Feugo burger with the lamb, with a side of sweet potato fries. Incredible! Definitely try this place if you like good food. Oh, and the lavender hibiscus lemonade is a must.

This was my second visit here and I was not disappointed. Family of four ate for $88 and change (includes 2 glasses of wine, 2 lemonades, and 15% gratuity). Portion sizes are a little on the small side for the price, but incredibly tasty. All sides are $2.50. My only suggestion is that if you're going to serve wine, please make sure your glasses are spot free. I will definitely be back! Service is friendly and staff always has smiles on their faces.. so important! Yay for yummy food!

Something has changed lately. I was in last week and the AC was broken. I had to stand in line and sweat drip while they prepared my food. Not even a mention of a discount for inconvenience, but! The to go containers have been pared down to half the size they were before and the cost was the same. Portion size was one of the reasons I would stop here as they were generous. I don't think so any longer. Food taste was pretty good, but value when you charge premium pricing is huge. And please don't ask me to leave a tip for to go food on the pad right in front of you. Poor manners! Very expensive for the value. $61 for three small sized meals and a half chicken.

Absolutely love this place! Food is delicious and fresh every time. Good local wine and beer menu. Their hibiscus ice tea is so good. Staff is friendly although when it gets busy its kind of hectic in there which is understandable. The only thing I can think they might want to eventually change is a bigger place! When its busy in there is so crowded and a bit overwhelming. I've left a couple of times because of it but a bigger establishment would fix that no problem. Everything else is great! :)

Just had lunch here for the first time. Menu is very overwhelming but food ended up great! Food is a bit pricey but if you order it right you can get a good deal. Will be back for more yummy and healthy grub! The lady that helped us had very pretty earrings.

Oh my goodness, this place is so scrumptious!! I always like Yelping independent restaurants in the areas we travel. This definitely is a gem in the heart of Temecula. Kind of a small restaurant, but does have a covered outdoor patio with heaters for those cool days. Upon entering, I was taken back (in a good way) by all the pots and pans sitting on a warming table with amazing looking food. It kind of felt like down home cooking. The whole chicken, which is open range, and the tri tip looked oh so good. Loved the many healthy selections of food; sweet potatoes, grilled vegetables, various salads etcetera. We had the Quinoa/Arugula with beets salad. It was delicious and different which we love. Also purchased the Tuscan Chicken sandwich. The chicken was moist, the bread was a focaccia with seeds. It was the perfect bread for the sandwich. Oh and let me say, we always order sweet potato fries and these were one of the best batches yet. The cut is thicker which makes them meatier than the skinny ones most plates are served with. The interior of the place is pretty cool. The menu hangs above the glass where the hot and cold foods are behind for safe keeping. They are very large wood pieces with the written menu on them, very rustic/country looking. They serve good local wine, try their happy hour. Our service by the young men was excellent, very effecient and willing to answer all our questions and even chat about their wine favorites. The prices for the amount of food and quality was indeed worth every bite. It is definitely a town favorite and well known amongst the community especially being somewhat hidden in a strip mall by Trader Joes. All in all, excellent restaurant and we will stop in again when we are in the area. p.s. the pics I posted made many of my friends' mouths druel.

We went again and had the roasted chicken breast and wing, butternut squash, mac and cheese, Caesar salad with avocado and bacon to share. Everything was delicious as usual, service was great. The manager even stepped in to make our meal a better deal since a side was ordered with the chicken and it resulted in a lower price. My wife makes a damn good home made mac and cheese and theirs was as good if not better. Moist, tender chicken I would gladly serve guests at our house!

Bushfire is great. The staff is always ready to make suggestions, which is helpful, because there menu is pretty diverse. Everything I've had has been delicious and it definitely has more of a homey touch to it than a lot of other restaurants. It may be more of an option for take out or dining outside, because there is limited indoor seating. But, I think it fits in with the theme of the menu with big shareable portions, meets very communal seating.

Just moved to the area and was looking for a place to get a bite to eat. Turned to yelp for local ideas, and Bushfire popped up. Looked good, so my wife, parents and I cruised over. It's pretty close to the house, parking was easy, and we ordered pretty quickly. We over ordered, but everything looked so good we just had to get it to try it out. The curry was on point, the ribs were delicious, and the Tri Tip was cooked to perfection. The one bummer here is that if you want to get boozey, you have to sit inside, or in their patio area. When we showed up, there weren't any seats available in those areas so we were relegated to the picnic style benches in front of the place. Luckily a table freed up, and we were able to move, and get our drink on. I enjoyed the local Insomnia IPA, while others indulged in some Pinots and Cabs. Their everyday happy hour is a thing of beauty, w/ the cost of 2 IPA's and a glass of Pinot running just over $10. Even w/ the potentially disappointing beer situation, this place still deserves 5 stars. I sincerely hope that they are successful enough to move to a larger location so I can A) take more people w/ me to this awesome place and B) get boozed up a little easier. We have a friend coming into town this weekend, and it's at the top of our list of places to go.

It started with promise. The menu sang of gluten free, healthful organic goodness, rousing flavors, good smells, beautiful food presented behind tiny, glassed in cases. Huge golden chickens, rotisseried, stews with gourmet gravy, the smell of oriental curries, gorgeous salads, house made potato chips. Yelpers said, "Do this!" So we did. Seating could be problematic. Indoor dining is small and really conducive to group seating only if you come at the right time and squish some of the tables together, with bench seating on one side of the tables, chairs on the other. That worked best for our group of 6 plus two children, as tight as it was. The remainder of options were patio dining consisting of tall tables with bar stool height chairs. And then there were the umbrella'd patio tables outside and unmovable chairs that were set into the cement out front. Their house made chimichurri was outstanding. Salads - Caesar salad with large chunks of avocado. The quinoa, arugula and beet. Both were excellent. House made focaccia. Fresh out of the oven, it was tender and very tasty. Dip it in that chimichurri for an extra thrill! House made Potato chips - a nice touch and cooked perfectly for a crispy finish. Sweet potatoes, served in chunks, seasoned. Not bad, not the best. But their famous (?) main entrees failed completely. For all of us. Chicken - Apparently cooked and sitting in the heating trays for who knows how long, it was cooked far beyond the proper temperatures. Everything was dry-dry-dry. How can you ruin even a thigh and leg, anyway? But they did. And they, without guilt, still served it. They had no excuses, there were freshly cooked chickens coming off the grill/rotisserie that should have been served instead. Meanwhile, the seasoned skin was excellent. But that far from makes up for what they did to that poor free-range chicken. Ribs - How long do you have to bbq baby back ribs to get them into a dried state? They discovered the answer. One of the ribs was petrified. Again, plated without a second thought. Really? Mac 'n Cheese - a very small serving for the price, the noodles on top were hard and tough and altogether not that cheesy tasting. Not at all what I envisioned based on the reviews of others. I wonder if I was at the right restaurant?

Giving them two stars for one employee. I really enjoy the food - it's fresh, great quality, and tasty. However, this is the second time in the recent past ive come here and encountered this employee. Don't know her name but she's working today and has a her hair to the side in a long French braid. The first time I came in and encountered her she made a smart comment - I brushed it off. This time, after it was apparent I was ready to order, she continued to engage in casual conversation with someone who was not a customer and apparently a friend of hers, she did this even after I heard her co-worker tell her I was waiting to order. Very rude and disrespectful and a complete slap in the face. I really hate to complain and I always go out of my way to compliment good service and honestly, usually don't say anything if service is sub-par but this really rubbed me the wrong way. The rest of the staff is nice and helpful so I won't let this ruin my patronage of this business but she really needs to be reprimanded. Otherwise, the other visits to Bushfire have been pleasant and satisfying.

Great place for lunch, Salads are very tasty however portions are very small, so if you are hungry make sure you order enough. meats and stews are prepared ahead of time and sitting on the counter, so sometimes they are cold. altogether they have healthy choices for lunch.

Love this place! Good quality food, fresh, great service! In a crunch for dinner, order online bring it home, it's like you prepared it in your own kitchen! Made with love

Amaze-balls !!! Not your average mom and pop joint! It's bomb.com ... En fuego burger is bomb. If u like spicy food... This bad boy has heat for sure. And the tri-tip is way good too.

  • Colby D.

Everything here is fresh and delicious! I brought my family here and we each got something different. There is a city-like vibe with this place--it's not something you would expect to find in Temecula. The side options are a very unique variation and nice break from the usual. The Mac and cheese is a bit spicy, but great. The sweet potatoes are some of the best I've ever had! Their salad mixes are very unique and flavorful, as well. The lavender lemonade isn't too sweet or too sour, it's just right! My only complaint is that the cashier took extra time in trying to put in that I didn't want tomatoes or onions on my sandwich, then it came out with them anyway :( 10/10 will come again

Yum. The Chimichurri sauce that they provide for your bread is deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeLISH. PROS- Awesome staff! SUPER friendly. Did I mention the Chimichurri sauce for the bread? My kids cleaned their plates. Cons- Place is a bit small and feels cramped It's a long drive from my house- so I can't just go get some bread and Chimichurri sauce.

The wife and I met here for lunch, we were running early and they had just opened. The place was set up and ready to go. Menu-easy to see, read, and understand. Staff-friendly, helpful, and able to answer questions about menu, food prep, etc. Food-delivered to table within a reasonable amount of time. Appeared fresh, good sized portions, and appeared exactly as the menu described them. Tested fresh and average flavour wise. Not bland, but solid(nothing made my taste buds pop). A walk to the back to wash my hands revealed a lot of storage, i saw quality products. Many the same that are used in my house. Tip-if you want a fulfilling meal but do not want an actual entree you can order "4 sides".

  • Roxy H.

Today the food was NO GOOD. Tri tip was DRY and the sweet potatoes were gross! I have no clue what happened!!! I ate here so much and haven't been back for 3 months and today the food was SO BAD! The only thing ok was the masked potatoes.

    (1)
  • Beth A.

I have eaten here several times, the staff is either real friendly or real grumpy, I love the quinoa burger, the veggie delight sandwich, and my sons love the steak sandwich. I only gave three stars because again it's hit or miss with customer service, they expect tips at the register but no one comes outside to get you a refill or a to go box, and the last trip the bread was so salty I couldn't eat it... It will be awhile before I go back

    (3)
  • Bill M.

Quality, cost, service all come together here! One of the best places to eat in Temecula, if not the best! I've almost tried every dish and not a bad one so far!

Braised Lamb curry is pretty damn good. I like my curry spicy and it's got a nice subtle kick to it. They also have a good happy hour with good quality beers for only $3. The Quinoa, Beets, Arugula salad is very tasty, too. If you like healthy food that tastes great, this is a good spot. I do agree with the other review about portion size. It is on the smaller side.

  • Patricia W.

I enjoy there food, it really good. Love how fresh everything is. However costumer service is really important to me. They forgot my order twice, first time I was offer nothing after forgetting at least my second time they forgot I was offer free fries. Above all good is good.

In a word... NOM! I've been here a few times, and have yet to be served a meal that was anything less than absolute deliciousness. I'm not one who usually cleans her plate, but with the quality of the food, I can justify every last "clean" calorie of it.

    (5)
  • David W.

Messed up my order, too hungry to complain. Wanted Mac'n'cheese, got sweet potatoes instead. Makes me wonder if they gave me the extra 2oz of tri-tip I payed for as well. Tri-tip only comes one way, medium, I like it rare. Veggies were grilled and delicious, sweet potatoes came sprinkled with seseame seeds, I don't know, but they were very good. Marbling on the tri-tip look great, wish it was more moist though so I could've enjoyed it more. Otherwise a good hearty meal, I will be getting the Mac'n'cheese next time, smelled so good coming out of that oven fresh.

Brief overview is that this places provides healthy and tasty food options at reasonable prices. Among the greats were the quinoa vegeburger and lamb curry bowl. Where things fall apart badly is service. It takes an eternity to get your food, they routinely run out of stuff midday (including drinks) and dishes are brought out intermittently forcing some to wait or start eating while others await their food. They need to optimize their operation, since there are plenty of workers around.

I've loved Bushfire Grill since it opened...but something is slipping and I am disappointed enough to write about it. First, on a sanitary note, the restrooms are right next to the open racks of bread. Yuk. Second, there were very brown pieces of romaine in my caesar salad, mixed in with the crisper, fresher pieces. Another yuk. And while I'm on the subject, I am not a fan of red peppers, so I thought I'd be able to pick them out. They were EVERYWHERE. (It actually helped me find the brown bits of lettuce...but I'd rather not have to pick through my caesar salad for EITHER.) Oh, I hope they come back to their old standards. I'll give them one more try...

I love this place! Let me repeat that...I freakin love this place. Their food is always good and they have good beers on tap and local wines. I really like the Bushfire bowls. You can choose either brown rice or mash potatoes. It comes with grilled veggies that are amazing. I usually go with the beef brisket. I highly recommend coming here with friends they will love it! They also have a nice outside patio to sit and enjoy the nice weather.

The salad dressing didn't taste like Ceasar dressing, the brisket was really good, the salad with chicken and strawberries was really good, and the sweet potato fry were good!

This place is no joke some of the best home cooked traditional American food ever. Had the braised beef, Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and lavender lemonade. Great!

Ive tried a few things here and still haven't found anything i love. It always smells delicious. My husband got a burger and i thought the meat tasted good so i may try that next time. I also want to try the mac and cheese and mash potatoes again. I had the brisket today and it was very tender but the sauce they cook it in is too tomato based for me.

  • Dave W.

Have eaten here twice now. First time got ribs and chicken with side of mac n cheese. Ribs were the highlight. Chicken and mac cheese were alright. Second time we got Tai Chicken Curry bowls. Mine came on mashed potatoes with slices of sweet potatoes as a side. Good but a lot of potatoes might have been my fault ordering. I can see ordering here now and then but not a go to place for me.

The owner reached out to me a while ago, I really appreciated that. I am thankful for the letter and the opportunity to go back. I got some items to go last time I was there and I was greatly impressed. There are not to many places that have freshly made healthy options. The drinks are also very good. Thanks Bushfire!

Uh-mazing. Had their original Bushfire burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever devoted. Sweet potato fries were delicious but they could have added some more. Burger was bomb and was surprised they asked how I wanted it cooked. Place is pricier but def worth it if you want good tasting, healthy, good quality food!

  • Mary B.

Excellent fresh, wholesome comfort food! Everything I have tried here has been delicious, I don't think you can go wrong with any menu item. The ONLY downside is that table space is limited. There is indoor (cramped) seating and outdoor patio seating (crowded). Call ahead to order for pick up and avoid the line, or try to go mid week just before or after normal lunch hours.

  • Kursten O.

This is such a unique place. Healthy food, tasty food, fresh food, and quick service. Those don't always go together well, but Bushfire succeeds. I had a craving for macaroni and cheese and they successfully cured it! My husband ordered a curry chicken bowl and he thought it was good but it needed a little more sauce. The kids shared a chicken and they liked it but we found it a little bland. Unfortunately Bushfire Grill does not have a soda fountain, they offer canned soda. I really dislike canned soda so I ordered wine instead...perhaps it wasn't such a bad thing?!

    (4)
  • Scherry B.

Very good! I had the tri tip bowel. I picked mash potatoes and let me say they are amazing! The tri tip was good also. My favorites where the grilled veggies and the Greek salad. The tropical Iced Tea was very good too! Must go again much more to try!!!

I would love to give this restaurant 5 stars because my meal from beginning to end was fabulous; however, my husband ordered the pesto chicken sandwich and it just kept falling apart so unfortunately, his experience was not so hot. I ordered the bacon, arugula panini. The best panini of my life. I had dreams about this sandwich for weeks. The service was great and the staff very helpful with working with us newbies. I'll definitely be back to this place with my husband I hope.

This place is the bomb!!! Hard to find but once we found it we were so happy and they were nice enough to still serve us even though they were about to close. We will def be back before we head home.

  • Erika W.

This place is a hidden treasure.. Great place for delicious wholesome food. Reasons for 4 stars: -all the items I've tried were delicious: panang curry with veggies and rice, millionaires BLT, greek salad, and Tuscan chicken sandwich -service is quick and you see all the fresh food in front of you -very friendly staff -the place is clean Dislikes -limited seating, not great for hot days or busy times -the staff doesn't plug in the order correctly, it's happened twice now

  • Shane W.

The aoilis were great! We both had bushfire burgers- they were good. Mine was cooked perfectly- my girlfriend's wasn't. Got a side of fries and a side of Mac and cheese. They were good- nothing spectacular- but still good. Also got the lavendar hibiscus lemonade. It was sweet but good. It was better than a diner burger and We will try it again and get something else but it was nothing to write home about. So a bit pricey. 2 burgers and fries was $30.

This place never fails. I've been here several times and its always delicious. The food is always cooked fresh, the employees are very professional, the environment is like a cozy restaurant with outdoors seating. During peak hours it can be a little difficult getting out since the inside portion is narrow, but that's part of the experience! Will be coming back soon to try one of their new burgers!

Back in February, a group of us set out to do the Spartan Race in Temecula. Normally, a trip to Temecula, specially after running and jumping and crawling and pulling my butt off, would mean wine tasting and a whatever my heart desires to eat. It would be well earned. But during this time, I was in the middle of doing a Whole30 with my crossfit gym. Whole30 is basically a reset for your body in which, for 30 days, you omit grains, legumes, dairy, sugars, etc You eat real food - mostly protein and veggies. The results are great and I was almost done. However, dining out is HARD! Foods are cooked with all kinds of unhealthy oils and added sugars and fake crap. So before the race, I checked yelp and Bushfire Grill was one of the places I found. I contacted them before with a bunch of annoying questions and they were super nice. THEN, I asked a bunch of more annoying questions there and they answered each and every one of them. I was THAT person and they really handled themselves in a very helpful and professional manner. I ended up going with the chicken and grilled veggies. The veggies had a little olive oil and had that nice grilled flavor. The chicken was plentiful for me and my bf and tasted really good. I really liked that most of their stuff is organic and locally sourced. Most of all, I liked that they were able to provide great costumer service!

I was looking for a place that offered healthy organic food like the Urban Plates in San Diego and found Bushfire Grill. I have been here several times. However the first few times, I thought that the food was okay mostly because some of the curries and the stews tasted either too sweet or salty to me. However, my fiance and I tried this place again yesterday, and this time, he ordered the chicken and rib plate with a side of mac n cheese and chips, and wow! All my previous opinions about the place has changed. The chicken and ribs were tender, the mac n cheese was tasty (wish there was more!) and the chips were fresh, crispy, and hot! Another great added bonus was a light green sauce that comes on the side. I'm not sure what's in it, but it's a great dipping sauce! While I do think this place is on the pricier side...I will be returning if I'm craving some chicken and ribs!

Geez these guys -they have transformed Temecula -what can I say -you couldn't make a better meal at home if you tried -non GMO, organic, meat and vegan and oh oh oh so yummy. I am just so spoiled. I notice other restaurants stepping up to the plate -they will never equal or exceed Bushfire but they are good additions. Thank you Bushfire -we love you!!!

I love Bushfire, and am so grateful for delicious, healthy, organic food in our area. I was waiting for the restroom yesterday, and saw the storage of organic, healthy foods used. I can't wait for a BIGGER, more cozy place! :)

Outstanding Californian burger and strawberry spinach salad. Excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere. It's been months since we've been here and I'm happy to say the quality has improved a little and it was really good the last time we came. Keep up the great work. P.S. This crew is awesome.

My wife and I are from woodland hills / Topanga California, wow is this place solid, It's more of order at the counter, and they bring it to you kind of place, but who cares, Food was amazing, Staff, especially Tori, was there to help, guide, and steer us to the right discussion, She let us sample what ever we wanted, my beef short ribs on a organic beef patty, in a hamburger, do I need to say more, well maybe that the beef patty, tasted like steak. I think I said enough, I'll wait for you to share your amazing experience. Thank you bushfire, and staff, now let's open up near me.

This evening, I ordered carry out from Bushfire, as my wife was craving something "substantial", but has been too ill lately to cook. Bushfire really came through, a nearly perfect meal! I ordered the free range chicken entree and the Angus tri tip entree. For sides, I chose the baked sweet potato, mashed potato, and then two small salads: spinach & strawberry, and the quinoa, beet and arugula. To save time, ordered by calling from home, although they have a very good online ordering system, and even have an iPhone app if you prefer. Once I placed the order, I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, so I had to immediately get moving to get there on time. (I later found that I could have had Bushfire prepare the order on a slight delay, if I'd needed more time to get there.) When I arrived, my order was ready. The service was excellent and shouldn't be underrated even for just a carryout. Rhiannon was very helpful, and had a very friendly demeanor. I didn't feel like I was being rushed through. The food was terrific! The meats were cooked perfectly, and were moist and delicious. The baked sweet potato, especially, was excellent. I will definitely be bringing them more business!

Arrrgghhh.... I hate being disappointed. I thought this place was going to blow me away. First off, parking lot sucks. That's not their fault... I can live with that. Once we finally walked in, I opened the left door and there's a chair no more than 4 inches right in front of me? So really, there should only be one door to open, and that's the right one... We went right at noon and the place can definitely get a little tight with people standing in the middle of the restaurant looking at the menu. I was LITERALLY walking the same exact way you do when you're trying to get back to your seat in the middle of the theater row and everybody is in their seat trying to move their legs for you to walk through... no joke. You know what I'm talking about! Ordered a Tuscan Chicken Sandwich on Wheat and my lady got the BBQ Tri Tip Sandwich on White. WIth a small bag of chips, $19 and some change. WHOA! I was a little shocked... I could've gone to Togo's down the street and got 2 sandwiches for $12? It seemed a bit steep for no drink, sides, etc. Food was okay... chicken was pretty dry in a few bites I had and there was minimal avocado, but still definitely filled me up in eating just half of it. I had a bite of my girlfriend's Tri Tip sandwich and that was just okay as well... Maybe we'll come back and try something different, but not anytime soon unfortunately :(

I was here a few days ago with a friend and my husband. The place is tiny, so we opted to eat outside near a heater. The total for us two came to 26 bucks and some change. We ordered two sandwiches, two sides, and two drinks. Tuscan Chicken - pesto goodness BBQ Tri Tip - that cheddar cheese though! Add caramelized onions = perfect Kale Slaw - not drenched in mayo, I could actually taste the veggies. Roasted Squash - I can make this at home, but still good. Lemonade - More tart than sweet, beautiful. Pricey (for sandwiches), yes. Quality, better than expected. When we were told that they only had white bread available, I cried inside. However, "white bread" here meant soft foccacia bread. Score! I want to try the rest of their menu and I'll skip the sandwiches from now on since they are they are close to the price of an entree. The young ladies who assisted us were very amicable. I'm glad that places like this are available in Temecula.

This place is really good. I love the open kitchen and the slow braises. You feel like they aren't hiding anything. The new burgers on the menu are really good but I wish they would offer a turkey burger. Try the panang chicken curry for a filling tasty dish. The chicken is really good too. Always a good option for luck and dinner.

Bushfire grill used to be a favorite. However I will not be going there again. First thing that was rather annoying was they took a few sandwiches off the menu, one of which was my girlfriends favorite. After that it was hard to get her to go back as that was really a favorite of hers and rightfully so it was good! This was a rather unfortunate negative for her, but something that I was willing to overlook as nothing that I liked was removed. Fast forward to today; I convince my girlfriend to go back as she had received a $10 off birthday coupon. As we have no printer we examined the emailed coupon to see if it mentioned anything about needing to be printed. It DID NOT, which was not a suprise as most good establishments now and days will take coupons off your smartphone. (This is 2015 after all and everyone has a smartphone Iphone dealio right?) So both of us liking a good value decided to go back and she agreed she would try something different. However after waiting in line for a good 10 mins we get up to the front all ready to order and use the coupon when... NOPE. They couldn't accept it as we had not printed it out.. Excuse me? It doesn't say anywhere about needing to be printed? The girl helping us asks another girl if they can accept it and she replies with "No, sorry we can't because we switched to a new system and we need it (it being a piece of paper with the word coupon $10 on it) for our records." We asked "Is there nothing you can do as we do not have a printer?" Her reply was "Umm you can go to Kinko's and have them print it for a small price?" ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! They were. They wanted us to leave go to Kinko's pay someone to print out a piece of paper that says birthday $10 off coupon. Then come back and wait in the long line AGAIN so that they would "have something for their records". STOP I know what your thinking, "they must have needed to scan a Barcode or something!" No. This email had no numbers no bar code no nothing. It just says happy birthday get $10 off... This is why I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Terrible customer service as they LITERALLY could have wrote this on a piece of paper "for their records". Appalling is what that was. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received at a restaurant!

This place is FAB. Ate here for the first time a week ago for lunch.... came back for dinner later that night with the soon-to-be ex-wife. It's that good. The atmosphere is nice, the food is fresh with a fun twist, and there are so many good things on the menu. The place also has a cool vibe to it.... and honestly, if a restaurant that is this small is always busy like they are... you know they are doing a LOT right!

I came here on a date. Just fished at the gym and wanted something at least slightly healthy. I got the millionaire BLT on wheat. THIS WAS THE BEST BLT IVE EVER HAD! And I love food. If you're looking for a orgasm in your mouth then eat here!!!

The food is good but not fresh to order. It's more of a fast food type that's ready and sitting on the counter. Buffet style. Portions are not large, but not very small either. The food is not served hot as it has been sitting there for a while. So don't expect a hot sandwich. The meat is portioned very small too. If it's truly all organic then it's worth the price. But usually organic veggies, salads, tomatoes have a great taste and smell That I didn't experience here. The place is very very small. If you sit inside you'll have people standing right behind you or right in front of you depending which way you're facing. Very tight area.

My husband and I went to this restaurant tonight. I ordered the Greek salad and my husband ordered a hamburger with fries. If you order the Greek Salad make sure you ask for a Greek Salad. I say this because when I don't ask for a true Greek salad with all of the ingredients I get a lettuce salad with a cucumber and a bell pepper. When I pay $9.00 for a Greek salad I want lots of feta cheese, olives, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, cucumbers; not just a bowl of lettuce. Tonight for some reason I received the salad with some kind of House dressing which had vinegar in it. In the past, I have always received a salad with olive oil and herbs on the side. So I asked that it be made again without the House dressing. Hana brought out the remade salad. She stated that she wanted to make it perfectly clear that the House dressing is normally served on it (although I have never once received the House dressing on the Greek salad in the past). Her demeanor and delivery was rude. I told her that it is customary for the person who is taking the order to ask about what dressing is preferred. She said that they don't do that any more. "the owner just wants to push the order through". Huh? What a hassle for a simple Greek Salad. Come on. My husband received the hamburger.... but no fires delivered with the hamburger... they came later on and there were very few of them. Apparently, this restaurant can't coordinate the fries to be done when the hamburger is done because this is the second time. I don't get it.... I like the food, but frankly, the customer service was completely disappointing, time consuming and a hassle. We just wanted a nice meal. One should not have to ask a restaurant to make sure to put all the ingredients into the Greek Salad and the hamburger and fries to be served at the same time. Please. I did a take out of this Greek salad on Sunday... it was ok, but again, I had to ask for a true Greek Salad. Here's what the problem was.... they put 3 little containers of olive oil with herbs in to the bag. One of the containers wasn't closed and it leaked all over.. Cleaning up olive oil was not fun. I wanted to give them a second chance.... but I don't need the headaches. Most of all, I don't appreciate receiving a scolding because they don't want to ask about dressing preferences nor do they want to serve a top quality true Greek Salad. They want to just 'push it through'! I should have received an apology for their mess up.

I've been a Bushfire devotee since they opened in 2012. Everything is fresh, they source local ingredients whenever they can AND they're very thoughtful about allergens--I have a sensitive stomach on top of celiac disease, and the only thing that's ever upset my stomach is eating too many of their amazing French fries and peri-peri mayo. I could probably live comfortably on their Greek salad for the rest of my life; the vinaigrette is so fresh that the herbs are still crisp, and they use a massive amount of creamy, rich feta. The service has always been friendly and understanding, even when they're overwhelmed with customers. They have regular specials on seasonal dishes (my favorite being a stuffed [local!] acorn squash with brown rice and Thai red curry sauce for under $3) and a good wine list and generous pours. I moved out of state for school and this is one of the only places I really miss. Can't wait til I'm in town again!

When I first moved to Temecula over a year ago I couldn't wait to try this place out and actually really liked the food and the service. It was my go to place to take people visiting. Even though it was a little high on the price it was worth it. But the last few times that I have gone the service has just gone down so much that I don't know if I'll go back. Usually I am greeted well and people seem friendly but twice I have received the wrong order and it's not the mistake that bothers me because I know it happens. What they do once I tell them is the problem. The first time they made the mistake they actually gave my order to another customer and gave me there order which they were lucky that the other customer didn't even notice. But I did and I wanted what I ordered. I told the server and he said oh, ok. Took my plate along with my side which were fries to the back. I sat there while my husband ate and about 15 minutes later he brought out my sandwich (does it really take that long) along with my old cold fries that could have been left for me to eat or replaced with fresh ones. But he actually did say sorry at one point, I got over it. Then the next time I came which was about 3 weeks ago I ordered one of the burgers and again was given the wrong one. I came back without eating it and the cook said ok leave it there pointing to the counter. I did and waited for the burger. I watched as he scrapped off the patty from the other ingredients and put my "new" burger together. Usually I wouldn't care about something like that but hey this is like a $13 burger. Anyways to top it off the waitress brings it out and says "is someone waiting for a burger" I was nice and just said "here" and thank you. I just find it crazy that a place like this with seemingly quality ingredients and food is so disrespectful to customers when they make a mistake. When they are good it's really good, but you better hope your order is right.

My husband and I love eating here. I have a Gluten Allergy and I can't just eat anywhere. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is expensive to eat here. I realize you get what you pay for (and I love quality, non gmo, free range and healthy) but now that business is literally BOOMING for them they might consider adjusting their prices.... please?

My wife suggested this place when we were looking for take out tonight. Glad she did. Wonderful food. Tasted fresh like it was home made. I had the ribs and chicken which were great. The chicken was so flavorful and the ribs were moist and tender. Their bacon and beans are outstanding and the helping they give you is big. My wife loved her tri-tip sandwich. Will definitely be eating here again. Quality food and reasonable prices.

We were at the tux place next door and mentioned to the salesman we were getting something to eat after the fitting. He recommended this place, it was literally right next door. Small place, but the aromas coming from the inside were delicious. Food was superb, my fiancee and I split a half chicken and a tri tip sandwich. Only thing preventing them from getting five stars was it was a bit pricey, bill was $35 for two people. I expect to pay that at a sit down, full service restaurant, and they also only had canned soft drinks, no soda fountain. Other than that, I would highly recommend and would go again.

The ribs were the best I've had in the area, chicken with peri peri sauce was so yummy, the Mac and cheese was ok, but the side of beans made up for it. It was a little pricey but well worth it.

Can I just say I'd drive all the way to Temecula again just for their food. It's clean, the staff super patient and helpful for us 1st timers. They have a wonderful selection of wines, fresh salads, burgers and sides all health friendly. I enjoyed their burger and ribs too much. SHEER DELICIOUSNESS!

Food is incredible. Must haves, chicken with peri peri sauce, the ribs, and the mac and cheese (TO DIE FOR). I've never had anything that I didn't LOVE. It's all amazing. My only suggestion is that they move to a bigger location--perhaps in Old Town :) -- once they get enough business. They're too good to be in that small space. They deserve a new location. Paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free friendly and I love it!

Food is good and concept is on trend with GF and healthy dishes. Customer Service is an opportunity as my take out order was wrong on one occasion and the staff seemed more task oriented and not engaged with customers on another. Seems like a disgruntled bunch.

Tucked away in the corner next to Trader Joes - don't miss it. Apparently it's been here for 2 years... who knew! Crispy Bacon Arugula Panini; good, but the bread was too crispy. Definite a play on a healthier version of a BLT. Bushfire Special; delicious but too much horseradish mayo - it overpowered the steak. Made to order menu and definitely fresh food. Most items are gluten free for those that care... The freshly squeezed lavender hibiscus lemonade was refreshing! We will be back to try a few other menu items.

My husband and I went here earlier today with my best friend who lives close by and we were all blown away. The guy that helped us was so sweet and friendly. I was so impressed! Customer service seems to be a forgotten skill recently, but not at Bushfire Grill. Everyone was polite, friendly and helpful and the food...wow! I think I had the best burger I've just about ever had. Second only to my hubby's :-) I opted for protein style and I'm glad I did because the burger was huge and the flavors were fresh, lively, well balanced and just YUMMY!!! I didn't even miss a bun! Which is a very good thing for those of us trying to give up carbs. We also had the mixed sides so we tried the Mac and cheese, sweet potato fries, bacon avocado Cesar salad, and the spinach strawberry salad. Everything was top notch! I even found my new favorite white zin! The only thing I'm bummed about is that I live in Santee and they're in Temecula :-( Guess I'll have to be sure to stop in every chance I get.

Really good food really horrible service. The people at register are always helpful but the food servers suck. Always bring out food before drinks and forget about condiment requests. I've been here quite a lot giving them very many chances and the service is still bad.

I'll start with the important stuff, and if you want to read the rest, and why I'm doing three stars instead of the five that used to shine over this review, that'll be completely up to you. But in general, the food is absolutely fantastic, the beer and wine as local as they are delicious, which is to say: VERY. Staff composure usually rates at about a Mayberry on the friendliness scale. I would definitely recommend this place, but for more information that may be important for your first/next visit, please read on. My most recent visit definitely wasn't the best experience. With the addition of Burger Lounge to what is already a very busy shopping center, the parking lots are absolutely hemorrhaging with myriad oversized SUVs, big ass trucks, etc. So, frustratingly long lines can often begin before you even get out of your car. I've never been to Bushfire Grill at a time when it wasn't at least a little bit busy, which is a good sign, and makes me happy because I enjoy the food so much and want to see them succeed. However, I think their popularity might have made them a little too big for their current location. The lunchline ordering system they've adopted makes for overly cozy crowds, zombie walking toward the registers, then squeezing back through, brushing butts, elbows and hair before arriving at the double doors (which are always shut, because hey: It's always hot in Temecula and air conditioning is expensive). My wife and I went there for lunch this afternoon. It took almost as along to order the food as it did for the food to arrive. On average, any single customer will spend approximately five minutes at the register as their drinks are prepared, etc. Meanwhile, other people will sidle past to ask for iced tea refills and "to go" boxes. The nice young woman running the register this afternoon looked a little on the flustered side, which was understandable, as she had a line running out the door that might have looked more in place at the DMV. I ordered our food, and she repeated the order back to me, sans errors, then I went back to our table. Ten minutes later, most of our food arrived: En Fuego Burger (my current favorite) and fries. The young man who served us asked if we had anything else, and I told him we'd ordered a side of mac & cheese. A couple minutes later, he returns with the mac & cheese and explained that the item wasn't on our ticket. I admitted confusion, given that my order had been read back to me, and the overall vibe that I was getting was that I was trying to pull one over on them. Turns out it was a tiny error made at the register, and on the itemized receipt was an order of mashed potatoes. It wasn't a big deal, or didn't need to be, but I felt like was being made complicit in their error. So, all of our delicious food eaten, I strolled inside to get refills on our iced teas. Not wanting to interrupt somebody while they were ordering, I got in line with one other person ahead of me. Between five and ten minutes later, I made it to the register to ask for the iced tea refills. They were almost out of tea, and rather than offer an alternative, the young woman at the register set the cups aside and yelled to someone (possibly everyone?) that they needed more iced tea ASAP. By now, the line had almost completely disappeared. Stepping aside, so as not to be part of the register/door obstacle course, I found a place to stand by the water cooler and quietly waited for the refills. Somewhere between five and ten minutes after that, three ladies step in and hand their cups to the young man who had served us our food. He refilled their glasses without hesitation, or a second thought for the two cups (my cups) sitting right in front of him, or the guy (me) he had walked past easily three or four times as he bussed in dishes from outside. The young woman returned a moment later and I told her I was no longer interested in the refills. All things considered, I was pretty pissed off. She asked if I wanted something else since they were still out of iced tea. I said sure. A minute later, I had two mostly full iced teas in my hands. I thanked her and left. I can't make this long story short at this point (actually, yeah, I could), but in summation, I would just like to say that I've been very pleased with Bushfire up to this point, and that I will likely return. However, I do feel that there is some disparity between the quality of the food and the quality of the service that varies from day to day. At best, the user experience is clumsy, and awkward (I might apologize as many as three times for touching someone else's hair while walking from the register to the front doors). The wait to simply order food can also be very frustrating. Added to that, when the serving and cooking staff are bustling around, or flustered, dashing from station to station and losing contact with the customer, it doesn't foster high levels of confidence on my part.

Celiac friendly Gluten-Free options aplenty. Also conscious of other allergies since pretty much everything is made from scratch in house. The En Fuego burger is perfect, just spicy enough to leave a bite and still let you enjoy the other flavors. My wife loves the Bushfire Special, a tri tip sandwich on fresh focaccia. This is definitely our new favorite spot. The lines can be long during rushes but I've never felt the food wasn't worth it. Try the hibiscus lemonade.

Successfully above average. This isn't just tree hugger healthy stuff. My wife had some of that, I had an awesome cheese burger on a killer bun. You can come here and still retain your man card compared to some if the other fru fru spots around town. Worth every penny. Average about $12 bucks a person with a drink. Love it. Trader Joes after on a Sunday, perfect family outing without breaking the bank for a great lunch.

I don't understand the negative reviews on here especially about the pricing. For bbq its normal pricing and its healthy. The service was fast and friendly. Kale-slaw: so good Ribs: finger licking Chicken: juicy and delicious Side sauces: yup, they were a sauce. I can live without the sauces, you don't need them anyways. This is a great bbq joint for everyone.

Cool little place with good food. Tons to choose from. Chicken (w/o sauce) was delicious and cooked perfectly, as well as the baked sweet potato fries (love that they're baked instead of fried). The organic veggies were also very tasty.

Two stars, is the top I can give. I stopped in on the many yelp recommendations. I couldn't wait. you walk in and see those lovely golden chickens cooking on the rotisseries. Healthy? check. Local, sustainable? Check At first, I didn't see the register at the end of the counter (no sign and somewhat hidden). Stood there smiling at the workers behind the counter until one stopped and rudely pointed to the end of the counter stating "you order over there". OK, my mistake for not seeing it. Another gal appeared to take my order. She was having trouble understanding what I was ordering (and lets me clear here, I am not a quiet person, i have a natural projecting voice). She kept asking if I was ordering something that I clearly was not. I should have taken this as a sign, but I was already there and figured the food would be good and healthy. Wrong! The chicken was Saharan dry. So much so I was forcing myself to get it down because being at work, I could not go out for something else. The grilled vegetables consisted only of sliced Italian squash and literally two red onion rings. The gal at the registered asked if I wanted it with teriyaki sauce or without when I ordered it. I chose without, as I try and avoid such things normally. It is VERY apparent that the bowl was made to have the sauce put on it and should not be eaten straight up. If you plan to order this, make sure you get it or you to will be sorry! So recap..Rudeness from the employees, one vegetable (I'm not going to count the two tiny pieces of onion included), dry chicken, and perfectly cooked brown rice (hence the 2 stars as that is hard to do). Lousy service and Ingredients that apparently cannot stand on their own without a dousing of teriyaki sauce to make them better. I might have been better off skipping the toppings and just stuck with the brown rice. Go Back? Nope! I can find healthy, good tasting options by places that treat me with at least basic politeness. I work in customer service and would never treat our students they way this place treated me. Its a shame, I would have loved to make this a go to spot for lunches.

Superb food!! Was looking for delicious, simple but healthy & eclectic food for my dads birthday party and the great reviews on Yelp lead me to Bushfire Grill in Temecula. I was super impressed with the prompt response to my inquiry from Clive along with a suggested catered menu. When my sister and I stopped by the following Saturday to sample a few items, the place was packed, yet we were given superior service and attention. One taste of the slow braised meats & salads and we were sold. In fact we cancelled our other caterer visits after the first few bites! The hardest part was deciding what to choose because everything was so darned good. We ended up going with two of the braises: short ribs and pulled pork, plus garlic mashed potatoes & brown rice. The saucy meat is super served on top or on the side of these...Simply delicious! The salads are nothing short of amazing, we couldn't decide so went with three: spinach w/ strawberries, kale slaw and arugula w/quinoa. The melding of healthy, eclectic ingredients & house-made dressings make them so unique & delicious. Dinner was accompanied by homemade Foccacia, delish too! Our catering experience was smooth and worry free. They delivered on time, super nice & helpful, everything was ready to go as agreed upon in our contract. The appetizers we ordered were enjoyed by all. The hot food was brought in hot boxes and stayed hot, perfect for popping into the warmers on the table when dinner was served. Our guests RAVED about the food. Not just one or two guests, but most. They devoured it and went back for seconds. And our dad was most impressed. The only suggestion I could make is to order more servings of the meat than you think you will need. Our guests ate every last morsel! The salads & bread were also raved about. All in all a wonderful evening- thanks to great food & service from Clive & the staff at Bushfire. We'll without a doubt be back!

Went here for lunch on Saturday. One daughter had a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and my other daughter ordered the veggie with hummus sandwich and a side of Mac 'n Cheese. I ate 1/2 of the veggie sandwich and it was delicious. It was so fresh and tasty. My other daughter was very generous and shared her sweet potato fries. They were without a doubt the best sweet potato fries I have ever had (and I have had my fair share of fries). I would go back JUST for the SP fries! Also, the people working there are always so nice. I can count on a warm "hello" and someone always checks on us to see how we are doing. We will be in again soon. One of my favorite places in Temecula!

Delicious food. Awesome sweet potato fries. The girl who recommended a sandwich was spot on with the Gaucho Steak. Quaint environment, especially sitting outside with the shade. I would highly recommend this place for a nice spot for lunch. Get the Diet Hansens black cherry. Go big or go home.

I received the following message from the owner regarding my review. What a wonderful thing to do! I'm going to take my husband on my next visit and enjoy my complimentary glass of wine. I really appreciate owners taking customer service seriously, which sadly has become a rare comodity nowadays. I'm changing my rating to five stars from four. Thanks so much, Brandon! Hi Amy, thanks for the great review and I am happy that you will be coming back and I would like to buy you a glass of wine on the house when you do. Sorry about the wine pour, we are normally known to be generous with our wine and beer pours. Our wine should be 7oz per glass. You will find all our wines are local to the area. If you liked the Ronzoni give the Leoness Cab a try. That's one of my favorites. Please take a cell phone photo of this message and show to cashier or ask for me when you come in. Regards, Brandon - owner Bushfire Grill. (Message to cashier, free glass of wine on the house per Brandon)

Love, love, love Bushfire Grill! The chicken with chimichurry sauce is my favorite. I've had the quinoa & beet salad as well as the mixed greens with fruit and they are both great. The sweet potato fries are delicious and gluten free. They serve them with a peri mayo that's fantastic. The restaurant itself is very small but there is a good amount of outside seating. It's a little pricey but the quality of the food is high. It's one of my favorite places to eat right now.

By far my favorite place in town. I like to try new places but this place has me coming back week after week. I have not had a bad meal there; I have not tried any of the plates just burgers, sandwiches and bowls. The chicken sandwiches aren't the best thing on the menu so I would stick to the beef but their chicken sandwiches are still probably better than most places. What is crazy is that the food taste so good you have to think its not good for you but then you realize that its all fresh and healthy. Seems like most places rely on unhealthy sauces to make the food taste but Bushfire just does it with good, fresh and clean food. I am just hoping for a second location on the other side of town.

Consider this a small hole-in-the-wall, semi-fast food environment. Overall, our whole party of 4 was satisfied with our meals. Between all of us, we had the tri-tip, ribs, chicken, lamb burger, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, squash, and the arugula beet salad. They mis-fired a couple of the meat dishes, but were very gracious to redo the dishes. We had to wait 14 mins for the mac n cheese, but that was very well worth it. It is baked with a delicious bread crumb topping. The service behind the counter was excellent, but the server had trouble getting us knives and serving spoons. All of us enjoyed our meals!

I'm lost on what to rate it, there are days when I like coming here and other days when I wish I didn't. The chicken sandwich here is really good. I feel good knowing that I'm putting in good things in my body and that it's local and that I'm supporting all the local farms when I order food from here. However, the customer service is varies a lot. There are days when it's top notch and other days when you asked yourself if they actually work for tips because they're just downright rude or really really really slow! Food here is pretty pricey for what you get, not to mention the food isn't out of this world either, so for them to charge you what you would get from a fine dining steak house for the same chicken, it makes you wonder why people don't want to eat healthy or organic, because it's too pricey. Nonetheless, I come here when I want a healthier fix than what is served around the mall area, but then again, Trader Joe's is right there as well and can get a cheaper option if I wanted to.

0.5 stars for the service. Entering the place was already unwelcoming. Came in around 8:10 PM, they close at 9PM. I was wondering why the unwelcoming vibe was just hitting me and my fiancee.Honestly, customers are why you are working and why you have hours. Acknowledge or something you know?! Is it because we came in almost to close? Anyways, I decided to try this place out because of the reviews, got the braised brisket bowl. It was okay. Probably not coming back... ever.

I'm not really what happened with our service as the reviews are so great. It was our first time just last week. I really like the atmosphere and the organic food. I live in the Bay now so I really can appreciate what they're trying to do. My mom and I ordered the tri-tip sandwich and the four mixed sides so we could try a little bit of everything; salad, macaroni and cheese, beans and bacon and mashed potatoes. I literally sat and watched the girls in the back assemble our sides. SIXTEEN minutes later, our sandwiches were ready and they gave us the sides that they had just left on their assembling line. When we got them, the sides were COLD. In what world is that okay? If they were really busy, I would understand. But there was ONE other person. I just don't get it.

I got extremely sick after eating here. Food poisoning is no joke. They need to perhaps re-evaluate their food handling techniques and make sure the food is held at the proper temperature. You can't be lax on that or the health department may come visiting. Food was okay, nothing spectacular. I will not be back as I don't want to spend another night in the ER.

We get take out every Sunday night through their online ordering system, it's such a great way to end the weekend!

Came for a quick dinner while catching up with a friend. The service was excellent and the cashier was very friendly. The concept is awesome and the food is very good. The braised beef plate with brown rice was amazing. I'm surprised a place this good is in the middle of no where in Temecula. I wish there was one in Arizona.

Great Food, love the chicken curry brown rice bowl with veggies, quite delicious! I had been at the mall across the way and had been craving this favorite bowl, I live 35 minutes away so I don't get to stop by very often so I thought this would be perfect for dinner and also ordered the delicious roasted looking chicken, some grilled veggies and a salad for my husband & had to be bad and order the fries, they are so yummy & perfectly done normally! The 30-40 minutes I waited for the to go food is why I only gave it a 3 star. The small place was packed and no where to sit and wait except outside which was fine but then it got cold and went inside which was awkward since there is no place to wait, you end up just being in the way. Finally a family left so I could take a seat and another customer did the same, she was upset at the time it was taking to get her to-go food also. I saw another customer ask what was taking so long and the girl pointed to the slips of paper in front of her, which were quite a few and said, once I'm done with all of these, then your order is next-yikes! I sat thinking, should I leave, stay, I stayed because I figured now I'd have to wait elsewhere. When I got the food, the girl that had been frustrated with the other client apologized for the wait and said thank you for being patient...I just smiled. Had I been there with my husband, I wouldn't mind sipping on a glass of wine until the food was ready but I wasn't with my husband and I wanted to hurry and get home since I still had 30-40 minutes to get home. I had to indulge in some fries before I took off only to be thoroughly disappointed that they were limp and not fresh like usual, they were probably sitting in the bag until the rest of the food was done. The rest of the food was tasty as usual and still warm by the time I got home.

Great experience all the way around. Service was great and very friendly. Not a bad thing on the menu and evening we tried was DELICIOUS. We had trouble deciding on side dishes so they let us sample several different ones. The mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes won out this time but everything was tempting. For entrees we decided to try the BLT and the bushfire special. The only problem with these two dishes was that I didn't wear maternity pants so I can have more of them. Even the soft drink selection is unique. If you are interested in something delicious, affordable, and with a service oriented environment I would definitely try this little jewel.

It really pains me to have to write this review as Bushfire Grill had become one of my favorite places to grab a healthy dinner. I had forgiven the many times they made my order to dine in and not take out as requested or the few times they forgot to include my bread in my order but I've grown quite weary of these mistakes. Last evening I came in and placed my to go order and stood and waited for about 10 minutes. I noticed the server walking around with a plate that looked very similar to what I ordered. He brought the plate back up to the counter after not being able to locate the number. Then another server walks up grabs the plate and serves it to somebody else that was seated. She soon realized her error and went back to retrieve the plate. (I'm watching all of this go down) I figured this must have been my to go order so I asked her what number was that supposed to be and of course, yes, that was my order. I immediately ask for the order to be remade because it had been openly walked around with and even served to somebody else. I watched as the girl behind the counter began to re-make my order. She proceeded to grab the bread from the original plate and pack it up for me. Good thing I was watching... Needless to say I wasn't too happy and quickly had her correct her lapse in judgment. I really do love their food which is why I keep coming back, however, the mistakes really need to be rectified as the girls filling the orders always seem to be slightly confused and unsure. Please don't loose a faithful customer Bushfire. UPDATE: Thanks to the owner Brandon who seems concerned about his customers and made this situation right :-)

I was just a poor sport the first time I went. Lol! I tried a new item and it wasn't so bad! Not my favorite place but it is definitely worth trying. They need to expand, desperately!!

Who new the little restaurant next to traders would be such a hit with Temecula's fickle diners I've been in Temecula 18 years and seen many independent restaurant owners come and go. So it is very satisfying to see Bushfire consistently busy. I Food is good and filling. Comfort food really.

Very delicious, hidden location and very small but love the food. I was referred by a co-worker and I must say he was right, I love the food! The salads are very well presented and taste good. Grilled Veggies are a must have...!!

Went to this place the other day and it was so good! It was really nice going somewhere different. My friend is on a paleo diet right now and it was really easy for him to find something to eat or tweak menu options. The girl who helped us was polite and very knowledgable of the menu. Even the person going around clearing plates seemed very upbeat. Great atmosphere. I ordered the chicken Caesar sandwich which was very yummy as well as the lavender hibiscus lemonade. He had the brisket bowl with veggies only with a side of sweet potatoes. These sweet potatoes were so good!! Had a little Asian influence that was perfect. Loved this place and will be returning. Only reason why this place didn't get four stars is because I wish the outdoor seating didn't include so many flies coming at my food. I guess that's my bad tho for choosing to eat outside? Great place tho. I recommend.

I stopped in on Sunday for a quick lunch with the lady. We weren't very hungry but after seeing all the reviews we were pretty excited to check it out and share something. We ordered The Bushfire Special - a medium sized sandwich on focaccia bread with decent portion of tender Tri-Tip, horseradish sauce, and aged cheddar cheese. It was delicious! But, next time I'll ask for more horseradish as I thought it was a bit dry. Definitely a good sammich! The fries were perfectly piping hot and fresh (just the way I like 'em) and the homemade dipping sauce was subtle but on point. We also had a side order of the Kaleslaw. It was good but the small serving size was hardly worth the $4. Our only real complaint was the Hibiscus drink tasted more like pink lemonade. Otherwise, the service was very friendly and we our expectations were spot on.

Once again I thought that I would try someplace new for lunch, and the Bush Fire Grill was recommended, so I gave it a shot. The resturant itself is small with inside tables for maybe 12-16. There is also a covered and heated dining area outside as well as a strictly al fresco spot. The menu was simple but modern with higher than normal prices. I had the Tri tip with sweet potato fries, a side of mac and cheese, and an old time lemonade. The meal was average in taste, although the Mac and cheese was pretty good. The service was not that great, as I watched part of my meal get delivered to another table while the rest of it was carried back to the kitchen by a confused waiter. I had to retrieve my meal and apologies were offered and accepted, but by then I was simply irritated. Overall the meal was ok, definite not great, and DEFINITELY not worth the price. If your looking for someplace new to eat, you may want to keep looking. Just my opinion...

This place is great. I have tried just about all of the menu and though there have been some misses at times, it wasn't due to quality of food, it just wasn't for me. As a result I can't justify anything less than 5 stars. The menu is creative, fresh and healthy. The chicken is great, and the gaucho steak is even better. Just tried the new burger the other day, amazing. This is a must go.

I'm not much of a reviewer, but this place really is awesome and deserves it. The food really is as good as it gets. I just fed my family of 4 for lunch and we've got tons of left overs for dinner and all for $40. I think their pricing is perfect. I highly recommend Bushfire Grill. Great food, great service and a great small business in our local area. I HIGHLY recommend the slow braised BBQ pork plate over mash! It's my favorite. We tried the ribs today too and as expected ... delicious.

Bushfire is by far the best restaurant in Temecula. Fast, fresh, clean and local - it's the perfect place for the quick lunch or dinner. Love the chicken and ribs, the BBQ Tri-tip sandwich are my favorites.

We went there yesterday for lunch before some wine tasting. I had the En Fuego burger and my wife had the Quinoa burger. The taste from both were outstanding. I can't say enough good things about the burger. I thought it was incredible that the bacon on the burger was smoked in house. Some people wrote complaints about service but I found it to be fine even though the place was very busy. I highly recommend this place.

As you walk into this relatively small place, there are tables to your left, and a counter to your right. Behind that counter, sits an array of meats and side dishes. The rotisserie chicken, ribs, and tri-tip all look juicy. The sides are bright and relatively healthy-looking. This place is not necessarily good for big parties because there are not too many seats, but they also have a side patio area for outdoor seating. Today, I was here to pick up chicken, caesar salad, kaleslaw, roasted veggies, and french fries for an at-home feast. We tried the peri peri and chimichurri sauces, and both complimented the chicken very well. The chicken was pulled right out of the roaster as I waited. By the time we got back home, it was still warm and very juicy. Very good chicken. The sides were plentiful and provided a nice balance to the chicken. All in all, a relatively healthy and very fulfilling meal.

The best of all worlds!!! Food is GREAT, the music level is comfortable and pleasant!!! Service is also great, the servers are attentive and friendly, adding to an agreeable atmosphere. I had the braised brisket & veggie bowl. The brisket was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. Potato chips cooked in safflower oil, never greasy or soggy, crispy the way they should be. I give 5 thumbs up. A great find. Go, you won't regret it!!!

Stumbled upon this unique little spot as a lucky accident. Interesting menu, beautiful food, healthy choices and very friendly staff. What more could you ask for? My husband's brisket with basmati rice was delicious, tender and juicy! I had the tri-tip plate and it was flavorful, although a bit tough, and my mac and cheese side was BLAND even though you could tell they had used a lot of cheese--which is why I didn't give them 5 stars. Great portions and reasonable prices. Will definitely go again if in the area.

Came out to Temecula for a wine tasting day trip and stopped here for lunch. Seating area is very small. We were a group of 7 so we ended up eating at a large table outside, unfortunately it was in the shade. Bread was delicious and steak was tender. I liked the grilled onions and chimichurri sauce a lot. The "kale slaw" was kind of bland, but nice that there are so many options for sides. If you're in the area and in the mood for something fresh and casual, I'd recommend trying it out.

Yelp let me down on this one. Best BBQ in town? Maybe, but it surely isn't the best ever. Ordered some pulled pork. It was pretty cold. Flavor was.. there sorta. This place makes me want to open up a BBQ joint in Temecula just so you folks can have some real bbq! If this place is good, Idk what you folks have been munchin on. I may be a bit salty on this review, but that's what it needed. Salt. OOOUUCH!

Late lunch on Sunday. Lamb curry bowls and chicken with Mac&cheese. Beer is cold. Food is very good. Tasty curry and just enough spicyness to make me smile. Mac & Cheese was super yummy. Service is great and everyone is friendly. Should not give this great review because now everyone will show up!!

Super yummy food (if you can brave the parking lot). Despite bring located at my least favorite parking lot in Temecula, I always get exited when someone mentions stopping at Bushfire Grill. When you get in you see all the food choices displayed. I love their BBQ braised pork, mac n' cheese, and LEMONADE. Seriously, I had to fight my fiance off my lemonade. He loved the Argentinean burger and actually said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had (which says a lot). + Delicious food + Friendly staff + Healthy choices + Great to go or eat there - A tad bit expensive. If it was a little cheaper I'd probably eat there more. +/- Hate the parking lot, but that's not their fault.

I love this place! I went there with my hubby yesterday. It was raining and we were so starving, so we stopped by Trader's Joe and found this shop nearby so we gave it a try since it's new. I ordered veggie bowl with mashed potato (I could have basmati rice instead) The grilled veggie tasted awesome!!! My husband had Classic Burger, he finished it within 3 mins lol I wish I could try all of the food they have, next time I will try roasted chicken and lamb.

We've been here twice and both times were good. The seating outdoors can accommodate many people and has misters keeping guests cool. Also, it's a 'counter service' type restaurant which not many people have relayed through Yelp, so I figured I'd throw that in here. You watch the staff cooking food while you wait to order which is an interesting touch. Speaking of food: I'm in love with their Spinach and Strawberry salad. Every time I get it, I want to order it twice! I've tried the Grandma's Mac and Cheese and can honestly say I've had better, but it was still satisfying. The Focaccia Bread, which is organic, is delicious with the scallion spread. Try the homemade Lavender Hibiscus Lemonade; I've had it both times we've went and still I get cravings for it!

Bushfire burgers are the best burgers in temecula! If you want a burger that tastes like it was home made on a grill then your at the right place. They are actually grilled rather than cooked on a flat surface like in-n-out and philly cheese steaks. Ive realized burgers cooked on a grill brings the flavor out much better than cooking on flat surfaces. Both of the grass fed lamb and beef burgers taste delicious. They make their own focaccia buns and gluten free buns rather than the typical Udis bun that most restaurants use. Other than the burgers here the other dishes are amazing as well!

Whoa, did I say whoa already? My dad has lived in the area for years and we were blindsided by this place as he had never heard of it until I depended on Yelp ;) one night. Dang is this place good! Each menu item the 3 of us tried was superb. The tri-tip sandwich was wonderful; tender meat, impeccable flavor. The "limited time only" Argentinean burger was over the top delicious. That chimichurri sauce they slather on top had our mouths salivating like we were in some sort of Pavlov experiment. My little sister stayed safe with their "Grandma's Mac & Cheese" which was essentially ziti baked pasta with cheesy goodness topped with breadcrumbs. Not much was exchanged at the table aside from "Holy hell" and "Is this place real?" To put it simply, you need to come here and try something--at least the moist meats! I will be back when I am in the Temecula area. That's a promise.

Food was great. The atmosphere was almost uncomfortably warm. Also the young waiter just gave a blank stare when we asked for ice for our Tea which didn't come with any.He never did get it.We had to ask the waitress and they changed the teriyaki .Not the usual for these guys.

I had came here before a few years back when they were fairly new. I remember hoping that people would start coming in because Lunch hour I would only see a few people. It was amazing then as it's amazing now. The flavors that they have created are just phenomenal. I had the chicken bowl this time around and it was perfection in a bowl. They ran out of forks though. I was a bit upset about that lol I seriously hope the open a location closer to the riverside/ Ontario area because having this once a week just won't cut it. If you come in you will not be disappointed. And the grilled veggies are a must!

Food was awesome! Went there for a fundraiser to help support the Boys & Girls Club of Temecula. Thank you to Brandon & crew for the wonderful food, great customer service and giving back to our kids and community! My grandson had a great time and we will definitely be back. The rib & chicken combo is so good, you can't stop eating! Mac & cheese makes you not care how long you will have to stay on the treadmill! Grilled veggies were yummy and can't even begin to describe the homemade foccacia bread! Glad to have found a new place to eat!

Great food, great people! Sweet potato fries and the mac & cheese were by far the best and like no others! We had the chicken and enjoyed it with the variety of dipping sauces! One of the employees (Ryan) went above & beyond to make sure we were happy with what we ordered, and because of him we enjoyed great food and will be back again!

Delicious, wholesome, healthy!! This place is in the same shopping center as my health store and whenever I am looking for something healthy and delicious without losing its flavor this is the place. If I had the money I would love to open one up! I had the chicken bowl with a fall green salad and the mac n cheese and the tea and I have to say I was so happy. Oh and the brown rice! Just all around goodness. thanks Bushfire! Ill be coming for lunch on a daily!

This place is awesome. The bad reviews on here are absolutely absurd. Great food, great service, and the employees actually know what they are talking about when asked questions about the food. My mom has a gluten allergy and when we told them about it, they were very accommodating. They even remembered it the next time we came in!

Hands down one of if not the best healthy food restaurants in the Temecula area. They are fast, friendly, and affordable. My family and I have been here 3 times just to make sure it was legit before we posted a review. Let me tell you...it is. I have tried the brisket, chicken, and the braised short rib and they are all spectacular. Their sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had. Most items are gluten free, which is very hard to find. Anyone that posts a negative review about this place is either a competitor in the area or completely oblivious to what good healthy food is. Can't wait to come back and try something else.
