This is a reasonably nice Cold Stone, and the girls that work here are super-friendly. I do love the Cold Stone concept, and I'm generally pleased with what I get. Tonight, I went with one of their "hot stone" treats -- a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and chocolate shavings. This may sound ridiculous, but it was just too sweet. From now on, I'll probably go back to just picking my own flavor and mix-ins.

Just recently, my wife, her friend and I visited Coldstone for some mixed-up ice creamy goodness. While I wouldn't call myself a Coldstone Connoisseur, this wasn't our first time, and we had a pretty clear idea of what we liked and didn't. Two employees were waiting for us when we got in, and we went ahead and ordered. Our order went to the trainee, a young woman who was doing her best to compete with the ice cream for sugary-sweetness. "Hi!" She shouted cheerfully, "welcome to Coldstone!" We humored her antics as part of the territory in a fad-ice cream chain, and made our order. She struggled through the preparation, but badly mixed ice cream is still ice cream, and we went out to enjoy the sunny day, ice cream in hand. We relaxed, chatted, dug a couple bites deep into our dessert, and discovered a black hair. Neither my wife nor I have black hair, so, a little unsettled but not irrationally so, my wife went back into the shop to get a replacement. She waited patiently to show the hair to one of the employees discretely while another patron ordered, not wanting to disturb the other customers. Then she walked up and showed the hair to the trainee. "Oh," said the trainee as she took the ice cream, threw it in the trash, then turned to stare blankly at my wife. There was a long pause, and the trainee's brow furrowed a little in confusion at my wife still standing in front of her. "...you wanted another one?"

Called ahead to see if they were open. Snot nosed teenager kid who answered hung up on me. Ice cream was soupy & warm. Tried a 'signature flavor', was thoroughly un-impressed. Mixed in way too much caramel and the cookie dough was really salty. Menu was hard to read, and not clear. A marketing department fantasy run amok has named all their sizes and flavors 'fun' things. For example a small is "like it' while a large is "love it", and you can order "Tall Dark and Minty" ice cream. Why can't you just call it a small or a large? Why do you ask your customers to re-learn how to read a frikking menu just to order?? I will never attend this chain again. It's not even ice cream....

Three words: Birthday Cake Remix. I can't get enough of the stuff, it is one of the best flavored ice creams I've ever come across. When my wife and I were on extended travel out of the country, we would often talk about how we missed this ice cream blend.

One of the best Cold Stone shop and the service is better when you compare with other branches in the bay area. Our favorite is Coffee lovers and chess cake fantasy signature series. Yes, you have to watch out for the calories and also it is pricey as compare to Baskin and Robbins but the quality of ice cream is different. When you leave them tips, they will sing you "Cold Stone..its a cold stone.." Try it.

mmm so good. I mean come on its ice cream how could it not be? I always get the peanut butter cup perfection sometimes i find it to be too chocolatey so i replace the chocolate ice cream with sweet cream or vanilla and it balances. The portions are pretty big depending upon your server its a little pricey for ice cream but oh well its delicious!

I took my school kid for a field trip to this place and the kids love it they were very friendly and they let the kids do their own ice cream and the best thing is that they took pix of them and gave me de disk with the pix. I really recomend this place 100%

Creamy ice cream...nuff said. I always get the strawberry shortcake serenade...which consists of vanilla ice cream, pound cake (which I always get extra of), strawberry's in strawberry jam with whip cream. My girlfriends favorite is the strawberry cheesecake. If you tip them they will start singing for you which is kind of entertaining.

Yummers! They are open late, their ice-creams are super-yummy, almost all their ice-creams are eggless except for a couple of them (french vanilla is one I remember), and their staff is super-friendly. I love their pumpkin ice-cream and it goes great with cherry pie and roasted almonds. Great place to get a late night ice-cream fix.

All weekend long, I've been craving for some ice cream due to watching many Unwrapped shows on the food network as well as my favorite Travel channel. It's funny how we crave for things when we don't have them. I was having a blue day today so I thought of coming here and treat myself, which I did. The place was clean and I didn't have to wait too long to get my service. The owner is still the same guy from 2yrs ago and Cold Stones Creamery at this location is customer friendly. I came here before a couple of times and will return again. I got their Apple Pie in their Love It size and was just delicious!!

Nothing special about this location, next to Marie Callender's [ yelp.com/biz/marie-calle… in the Safeway [ yelp.com/biz/safeway-sun… shopping center. I have yet to have a poor expirence here, although I suppose it's largely dependent on which workers you get, which is really luck of the draw. They are pretty small, maybe five or six tables inside, two outside.

Great for the post Izakaya Ice Cream run since it's nearby Yume-Ya, Saizo and Tanto. However Tanto has some mean Ice Cream and Sorbet desserts so this can act as an alternative. As you'd expect the ice cream is consistent across the chain.

I went to Cold stone because I was having one of those blah... bad days and wanted something sweet to cheer me up. I ordered a cookies and cream milk shake. The server was friendly and had a cherry attitude, the milk shake was nice and creamy with lumps of oreo cookies, the large size was a bit too big but I still managed to finish it all, and it did manage to cheer me up temporarily like a 10 minute fix... The only bad thing was that I did wait for almost a minute before the server came out, but she did apologize and said she was organizing the freezer and did not hear me come in. Over all I rate this place 4 stars. I did find my temp fix for blah days.

Best thing about Cold Stone is that they do field trips for schools. The kids have a great time, they get to 'make' their own ice cream (for $3/kid) and then eat it. This particular location is owned by a former student's family (from my son's preschool) so this is the one the field trips are at. It's a little small so they can't accomodate a lot of kids at one time, but 25 at a time is okay to tour the kitchen area.

The ice cream here is REALLY good... I don't even know why there are other ice cream shops in Sunnyvale! Hahaha. If I'm in the mood for ice cream, I always seem to sway towards Cold Stone. I know it SOUNDS bad, but I don't eat ice cream as often as I used to! So don't worry, I'm not eating my heart out! All the servers are really cool and are on a super-friendly high. I always give a $1 tip just to hear them sing... I'm always amused by it! Head over to Cold Stone if you're living in the area - YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO! :-D

I used to like Coldstone but after going to this one a year ago i haven't been back to any other. Their candy seems a bit old and they dont mix the ice cream that well. Maybe because they are all teenagers that dont care and rather be giggling in the back and for some reason they sing every time you tip them or order some specific flavor but it gets old after the second song. if you want to try it, please do yourself a flavor and go to another coldstone.

Whenever I go to Coldstone I only get one thing: Mud Pie Mojo. IT'S DELICIOUS! I've been to this location a number of times and generally the service has been pretty good, nothing spectacular though. However, one time I went with my boyfriend the girl that served us was really annoying. I ordered my usual Mud Pie Mojo (love it size.. yum!), then we ordered a like it size of chocolate for my boyfriend's dad. The girl tried to up sell and get us to buy a love it size.. when I turned to my boyfriend he shrugged his shoulders and we went with it. Then I ordered my boyfriend's usual like it mint shake with chocolate chips and kit kat and the girl tried to up sell AGAIN but not in the usual way. Instead of saying the next size up was only so much more money, she tried to tell us that they were going to be ending the like it size and that we should get a love it.... what? It made absolutely no sense, especially because we could see the like it size right over the counter. My boyfriend got pretty upset by the time we were done with our order, and I was a bit annoyed as well. I would have preferred if the girl had tried to up sell the normal way rather than lying to our faces. Oh well! We still go back and haven't had it happen again.

i had the funnel cake/ice cream/strawberry thing for $4.99 plus tax. not worth it. the strawberries, all 5 of them, tasted vile. ice cream and whipped cream totally mediocre. the funnel cake itself was allright though. nice young man waited on me.

I work nearby and this is the place I go for ice cream. I used to like Basket Robbin, but since I find Cold Stone it'smuch better. Quality, quanity and service are always consistent here so I like that. Just at certain time, the line could be long especially on warm nights and weekends. I come here once or twice a week and usually in the middle afternoon when there's no crowd. I think the owner actually works here so the service is consistently good, and that's satisfied.

I used to really enjoy this place---like about eight or nine years ago when they first moved in. I spent a small fortune on Coldstone because I guess I like the creamy, soft, sweetness...anyways, that is until I went in over a year ago (for the last time) and was treated very rudely by the owner and an employee. I was asking for a donation (to a neighborhood fundraiser to benefit Sunnyvale's poor) in November and thought it would it would be no problem to get a $5 or $10 gift certificate for our event (in November!) Boy was I wrong--an employee lied to me about the owner not being there and then the owner popped his head over the counter thinking I didn't know who he was. He was SO rude to me--treated me like dirt. It's OK to say no, but it can be done in a friendlyh way... (though I still don't understand the big deal of donating a $5 gift cert---the guy must have seen my face in his shop a million times). And because I used to like the icecream so much I used to overlook how dirty the place is---the bathroom stinks and they were so cheap they didn't even provide a hook for your purse and seat covers. Save your money and don't support cheapskates that can't be bothered to give a little back to the cities they do business in.

Michaela, I'm with you on this one! I thought I was the only one who was anti-Cold Stone! The smell of this place evokes memories of puking after eating too many sweets... yuck. So what if you get to choose any combo of flavors that you want, and they mix it in for you? There was a place in Mt. View that did this very same thing over 10 years ago, and it was WAY better, but they unfortunately closed down. I don't care that they sing when you throw some coins into their tip jar either...

I came after school today and the workers were really friendly. It was my first time at cold stone and I think it was a fun experience. I think they should have more chairs and tables inside the actual store though. Also could get rid of the flies flying around. My friend treated me out but I thought the ice cream was pretty pricy. One of the workers, Mikayla welcomed us when we walked in and she was very friendly. :-) I'd still choose Baskin Robbins though

Honestly, I'm kind of shocked that Cold Stone is still kickin' around. Even when it was the 'in thing' I still wasn't a huge fan of getting my ice cream smooshed together with my choice of ingredients. I recently stopped by with my boyfriend for old times sake (and also because every other icecream/froyo place had just closed up for the night). We ordered a standard chocolate ice cream and added pecans & marshmallows. The ice cream itself is pretty pricy and if you decide to add any toppings, it only gets more expensive (I wanna say that each additional topping was like .75/ea which is pretty cray for a sprinkle of nuts or candy). Definitely not rushing back to Cold Stone anytime soon-- I'd absolutely rather drive further to get better ice cream (Tin Pot), or not much further (Pinkberry) for froyo.

I asked for a Like It and girl gave me a Love It. Can't complain when you get more ice cream. My one negative comment about this location is it's footprint. It's small. So if there's 2 families waiting in line, then there's a crowd.

I ordered a birthday cake here and it was so stale and awful that it almost made the birthday girl cry. Firstly, I don't know who decided it was a good idea to use cake in an ice cream cake but it is not. It is especially not a good idea to have more cake than ice cream and then let the cake get stale. On top of that, they put oreo cookies on the cake but since it was so old the cookies were soft and dissolving on top of the cake. It was also much smaller than anticipated. For $25 we got a cake about 5 inches in diameter. And it looked awful. We could hardly make out the "happy birthday" writing that we requested. It was very disappointing. I do not recommend the cakes here. Also, the shop was suppose to close at 10pm but when I arrived there was a sign on the door that said they were closing at 8pm and the staff was about to lock up for the night. I almost didn't get the cake in time and would have arrived at the birthday empty handed. Not cool.

Not much to say about this place. The fact that the people working here are in high school can either make you happy to be a patron or annoyed/embarrassed for having to order your crazy ice cream from someone who looks like a little kid. I didn't take off stars for that, just an observation. They were reasonably quick getting my ice cream concoction done considering the size of the line, but the nuts and brownies they mixed in tasted stale and ruined the flavor ... which is why I gave it 2 stars. Sorry.

  • Caroline B.

Ordered a cake for my sister via Cold Stone website & the whole process was a piece of cake! Their prices aren't too bad, but it would be great if there were deals/coupons for cakes on special occasions. Minus one star for the incorrect directions online stating to line up at the "Pick Up Order" sign. There was no sign & it took awhile to be helped since there was only 1 person working the front on a hot, Friday afternoon w/many other customers waiting in line. Other than than, customer service was friendly & online ordering was very convenient. I will use their services again in the future when needed. ***F.Y.I*** Hawaiin Shaved Ice w/a variety of flavors is now being served here. Perfect for summer!

I come every now and then. Wonderful ice creams, and you can try multiple different flavors. Staff members come and go, but they have all been friendly as could be. The only negative I would say is how small the inside is. It usually isn't a problem, but if there's any kind of rush or big family, they take up the whole seating area. There is a few outside tables, though.

  • Prianka K.

I don't know, I was expecting so much because people always talk about how delicious Cold Stone is. I got the cookie minster- oreo cookies, mint ice cream and fudge. ALL DELICIOUS THINGS RIGHT? Yet somehow it just tasted like mouthwash. Every spoonful was like being at the dentist and I was not pleased. I ended up having to throw it away after a few bites because I just couldn't eat anymore. I felt bad. It was 5 bucks for the ice cream in a "like it" size. I guess the only good thing about that was my friend paid for it :)

Loved the cake i ordered for my husband's birthday!! It was very tasty. Instructions were also given to me about when to remove from refrigerator before cutting. They took my order just one day before and were ready with it the next day which is nice.

My kids love this place, daughter's favorite destination for a treat. Birthday Cake Remix and Strawberry Shortcake are the best flavors. Milkshake Happy Hour every weekday from 3 - 5 pm ($3 milkshakes!). This place is pricey, but the servings are huge. They have shave ice (2.99) and will add ice cream to it for a couple bucks more. Tip - get the ice cream at the bottom (not the top), the flavors blend together better (on top the ice cream slides off).. Shave ice is fine on a hot day, but does not compare to the real deal in Hawaii. Not much seating, this place could spruce itself up a little in terms of the ambiance -- add some more pleasant seating. Maybe they don't want to encourage patrons to linger. As a parent, I wish they offered an iced coffee type beverage..... the ice cream is a little too much for me to eat - I come here to bring the kids. (It's on the opposite end of the mall from Starbucks and would save parents a hike across the strip mall). It's in a busy strip mall on El Camino - The Hacienda - which has a lot of stores including Rite Aid, Safeway, Jamba and Starbucks and a Weight Watchers! Located between Airake Sushi and Marie Callendar's.

I came in at 10:01 and they turned me away - hadn't cleaned off the counter and there were three other customers in line. They yelled out in front of everyone 'THESE ARE OUR LAST CUSTOMERS". Hmmmm.. Not very good customer service from the two tweens working behind the counter.

Yikes! This is our neighborhood cold stone and so we go here occasionally. I'm pregnant, so we've been twice in the last week. The last time we went we noticed they had shaved ice, so we made a mental note to come back on a hot day... On that day I did notice that the shaved ice bar was pretty messy looking, but I thought perhaps they were busy and would get to it later... That night we bought ice cream sandwiches and they were AWFUL! They tasted like they had been flashed frozen and maybe sat in there forever. I couldn't even finish mine! Tonight we decided to go back for the ice... Once again the bar was a mess, but on first glass looked slightly cleaner... The employee who helped us seemed to not be totally familiar with the shaved ice situation there and didn't know anything about the flavors... What is Tiger's Blood, and they had no idea what coconut flavor was, even though it was on the list of flavors. On closer look the syrups looked scary!!! Many didn't even have lids on them!! The server also put way to much syrup to ice on... Anywho... I always seem to write a bad review rather than a good review lately, but I do want to say that time is valuable and if my experience provoked me to write this review, please know it was pretty bad! The place was a mess! I don't think I'll be going back no matter how much I may be craving ice cream!

I bought some cupcakes from the freezer and when I tried one, they tasted like they had been in there for awhile. I took them back and they were very nice about replacing them with a new set of cupcakes. Unfortunately, the cake in the cupcake tasted stale. Disappointed because the cupcakes and cakes look really good.

Very happy about the miss who took care of us, she was so enthusiastic about making sure we got exactly what we asked for. Asking for just a large size cotton candy plus red velvet flavored ice cream topped with whipped cream, fudge, almonds, and a strawberry, she made it look super photogenic! Haha. She even put the strawberry so precisely on top as if it substituted for a cherry. After that, she did the whole jumping hands and "ta-da!", it was great! 4 stars for you girl!!!! & who doesn't love cold stone ice cream(:

Servings are huge but they are a bit pricey. Conveniently located next to Best Buy, Petsmart, and Panda Express. The staff girls are always super sweet, but the tables are almost always sticky :( I love that they're part of MOGL, it's why I drive to this coldstone instead of others.

KIA (pronounced 'kai) the manager is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. needed a last minute photo cake (referred here from the campbell coldstone), and the customer service was out of this world. not only did they accommodate all our needs, but kia took the extra effort to communicate everything with us along the way! the results were outstanding. and coldstone cakes are way better than baskin robbins btw. it was a total hit! loved it! THANKS KIA and cold stone sunnyvale! you guys are amazing!!!! :)

  • Javi C.

The customer service was bad. Everyone looked depressed and like they don't care about their job. I got a banana rendezvous, I saw him scoop the ice cream and it looks mushy, he even looked around in concern because the ice cream was obviously not frozen. Well instead of saying anything, he just scooped it, mixed the ingredients, scraped it into the cup, I grab it immediately after it's on the counter, I took a spoon full, and the "ice cream" wasn't even cold, it was basically a room temperature shake. Also, it smells like sewer outside and the smell carries inside, and it's very warm in there. Quite possibly the worst cold stone I have been to and won't go again.

Very disappointing tonight, Chocolate ice cream was terrible, my Wife characterized it as rubbery. This is a real first at Coldstone which has always been great. The staff acted as if it was just a hassle and I wonder what the owner is thinking leaving the establishment in their hands, I had the coffee lovers which was slapped together in about 30 seconds. Not good. I would also comment that the place is looking run down and increasingly shabby, You get the impression the owner is milking the cash cow and not thinking long term. Come on guys, you are better than this,

Closed the door 10 minutes before the posted hours on Sunday May 25th. It was me and two other people. The woman said they round up there and we could go to the Safeway nearby. In reality, they were just lazy and had all of the sign lights off. We actually didn't even know they were open when we first pulled up. Too bad for lazy workers who just want to leave early and be discourteous to customers. Definitely will not come back to this location.

It's a typical Cold Stone with jars of add ins, ice cream flavors on display and pre-made ice cream cakes and cupcakes in the fridges. K.N. and I stopped in since the weather has been in the unusually high 90's in our area and Cold Stone seemed like the perfect way to beat the heat. We both opted for the "Creative Creations" instead of making our own. I got the Cheesecake Fantasy and he got the Birthday Cake. The Cheesecake Fantasy was a Cheesecake ice cream with graham cracker crumbs with blueberries and strawberries. The person mixing our ice cream didn't specifically ask us what size we wanted and we ended up getting our ice cream put into the large cup. He did offer us waffle bowls though ... strange. The ice cream was mixed well and I thought mine tasted good very similar to a fruit parfait! Our ice cream came out to be around 9- 10 dollars which to me seems steep. I think next time I'll go with making my own ice cream/add in mix. They sell shaved ice, smoothies and milkshakes here as well!

I needed a cake for a birthday celebration and decided to try out Cold Stone. They have a really neat app on their website that allows you to build your own cake and customize every aspect. Although it's a bit pricey, you definitely are able to get exactly what you want. You can place the order in advance (which was a a huge plus for me) and then just specify the date and time you want to pick it up. I stopped by the Sunnyvale location to pick up the cake and was greeted by an employee, although no one was in the store, it took her about 5-10 minutes to get the cake. I didn't mind as I wasn't in a hurry. The store itself is clean and conveniently located right off El Camino. Bottom line, if you're looking for an alternative to the traditional birthday cake, try customizing your own ice cream cake online!

I used to love Cold Stone's but I feel like they've changed their formula about 5 years ago. Their cake pops and ice cream cookies are inedible! They smell and taste like a swimming pool. I hope you're serving us real ice cream, Cold Stone...

I never had Cold Stone before but has always heard god things about his place. So I wanted to order a half chocolate half strawberries ice cream cake for my son 1st birthday. I did this because I wanted a cake that everyone would like and not because the cake look pretty. \And the cake was really good. We also ordered cake pops from here. Everyone at the party also enjoyed it,

I still prefer Baskin Robbins to Coldstone Creamery for taste, but overall it's okay. The serving sizes are generous and the add-ins are a bit too much and you have to tell them to add a little or less, and to fold them in gently (or else you're eating a mushed up brownie!)

Good ice cream making... is a slow process! i love ice cream and patience does not play a role when it comes to ice cream sundaes :) however, the churro caramel prepared by (i forgot?) was amazing! try it, its really the perfect winter sundae.

This is a very friendly location, and service has always been quick and cheerful, even though there is usually a line. It's not very big inside - kind of loud and warm from all the freezers - but there is plenty of room and tables and a low concrete wall outside to eat your ice cream on while you stare into the sushi place next door and watch their tv. I like to get their black cherries as a mix-in - sweet, good texture and flavorful, especially with cheesecake ice cream. I am glad that they were stocking them the last few times we've been in. Recommend against the blueberries, which always end up frozen and watery, no matter how nice they look in the container. All the fruit mix-ins are frozen, not fresh. But that's the Cold Stone way. The last time we were in, we saw that they are now doing shaved ice ( though not with the One True Machine). It also seems like they now have a new and slightly larger upright freezer, which is full of ice cream cakes ( recommended ), ice cream sandwiches ( even more recommended ) and ice cream cupcakes ( which we have not tried ).

Very happy with the cookies-n-cream ice cream cake we ordered for our daughter's birthday. It was a big hit with kids and adults alike. Tasted fresh and looked good, too. Major bonus: this Cold Stone delivers to the venue where our party was held (Pump It Up), saving us time and an extra trip that day. Wish they offered a medium-sized cake since we had about 45 people coming (smaller cake serves roughly 25 people and the other 50-75) so we opted for the larger one as you don't want to run out of cake at a party. Needless to say we'll be eating birthday cake for the next few nights.

I had an ice cream before and had a milk & cookie shake today. It is good like it should.

Definitely a place to come if you are craving for ice cream. They not only have ice cream, their ice cream cake and cupcakes are amazing! Give it a try.

I Scream..You Scream..We All Scream Ice Cream!!!! Love ice cream..Love Coldstone...I don't understand what's wrong with people who complain about Coldstone ice cream...Its sweet, its creamy, the toppings are amazing, all for under 4$ (I never buy anything bigger than Like It, unless I want to eat it the next day too)...What else do you need?? Sure, sometimes the place can smell like cream/milk...but do you blame it..its an Ice cream place....yummmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyy..slurp slurp

It's your typical Cold Stone. They are always really nice and I have not had a problem with them. A little pricey for ice cream, but you go for the experience.

Who knew you could fuck up ice cream? Okay first of all I have NOTHING against this particular Cold Stone. It just happens to be the one I tried. I was craving ice cream one night and we thought hey cold stone is on the way home and its got to be the same as baskin robins or any other ice cream right? Plus you get to create your own mix! WRONG! I've heard of people hating cold stone before and i've tried it in the past but completely forgot. Oh my god is there ice cream bad! I got the oreo overload and my boyfriend got cookie minster. Mine was literally just sweet, very soft, kinda mushy and melting ice cream topped with, weirdly enough, flavorless stale oreos. My boyfriends on the other hand was slightly better. The mint ice cream actually had a little bit of flavor but still mostly just sweet! If you have a huge sweet tooth but don't care about flavor, by all means come here. I want some distinct flavors in my ice cream along with the sweetness. Plus, they're expensive here! I could have gotten a double scoop of TWO yummy flavors at baskin robins for the same price in a cone no less! *Sigh* diasppointed. This is the first and only time I think I will have not finished my ice cream.

3 1/2 stars Generally I'm not a big cold stone fan. It's probably because my introduction to ice cream with mix-ins on the "cold stone" was at Marble Slab in Tucson, AZ. They have they best Ice Cream I've ever tasted, with simple, but delectible flavors like Honey and Sweet Cream. Yum... The first time I had Cold Stone was in El Cerrito and I was so dissapointed with the quality of the ice cream that I've not been back. I'm also not big on chunks in my ice cream so the mix-in thing is no big draw. But I must have been in the perfect mood for it because I really enjoyed my ice cream! I tasted the Cotton Candy, which I LOVED, but the 4 year old wanted the dark chocolate and since we were sharing... It was Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate and it was pretty good. The Waffle cone bowl was slightly stale, but not so much as to ruin the experience. I dropped money in the tip jar, but there was no singing from the employees like they promis in their commercials. Would've been fun.

I love cold stone, and I did have a good experience with this store. But tonight, the staff here totally destroyed my mood. Can't believe while we were trying to make up our mind on what to have, the staff kept yelling at us and want us to speed up our decision making process....seriously???! There was no one behind us....i was very disappointed....

Tasty. Not a fan of ice cream in general, but I'll eat Cold Stone when I want some. The trick, IMO, is that the base quality of their ice cream is good enough that the toppings & add ons are a luxury, not a necessity to give it good flavor.

Typical Stone Cold, maybe a little friendlier service...maybe because they weren't super crowded like the others where they need to push you through the line ASAP. We were even able to get a table. Sometimes I think their options are on the "too much" side and it's best to just keep it simple. Overall, a good location, not too crowded with good service.

I really like Coldstone Ice Cream. I used to eat ice cream at a place that's somewhat similar in Boston called JP Licks. I tired out Coldstone and really liked it. I'm a huge Chocolate mint fan and to see they had 2 creations made me happy (cookie minster & Mint mint chocolate chocolate chip) and automatically became my favorites. They give you a ton of ice cream (then again it is a bit pricey so they better give you a lot of ice cream) so you're probably safe ordering their small size ("like it"). You can even make your own ice cream mix if you don't like what they have (for me I get sensory overload when I see all their topping options so I stay on the rails). After a meal I sometimes go out of my way to get ice cream here to close out a dinner. The only thing that makes me feel uncomfortable is when they sing for tips. It's actually a deterrent for me to tip them. I try to sneak tips in the jar or I say, "I'm tipping but please don't sing". (Like Aziz Ansari says "5 people are singing & dancing for a DOLLAR! That's 20 cents a person!") My favorites: Cookie minster Mint mint chocolate chocolate chip Strawberry blonde German chocolate Birthday cake remix Oreo overload the pie who loved me Mint chocolate shake all lovin' no oven menu: coldstonecreamery.com/ic…

It's hard to find anything wrong with ice cream, but there's something very subtly disgusting about Coldstone ice cream - it's sticky, overly sweet, and I suppose, the opposite of lukewarm - luke...cold? The formula seems to be more cream-based than usual, leading to a gelato-like consistency but slightly heavier. Mixing toppings into this half-melted ice cream makes an even less appealing concoction - sort of like piling the ice cream pre-digested onto your cone. Interestingly enough it's getting a huge reception in Asia - lines out the door. For each their own, I suppose.

Am I the only person in this world who thinks Cold Stone's ice cream tastes like cold cake frosting? Bleh. Oh, let me correct that. The vanilla tastes like cold cake frosting, and the mint tastes like cold toothpaste. So very, very overrated.

yummy icecream, large portions ( even the smallest cup has more than I can eat in one go!) and quick service! love it!

I love the concept of making your own flavor of icecream. I hate the actual ice cream though. WAYWAYWAY too sweet. I also get my icecream and by that time it tends to be all melted. And I would hate to work there. You are forced to sing for tips. Sad sad sad. As if you didn't just shell out 8 bucks for an icecream!

Went tonight, a Friday night, and thought it would be loaded with a much younger crowd but was pleasantly suprised that most people there were 30 and up, maybe it was just a random event? Ice cream was good, place was a little dirty, but I can give a little slack being a Friday night.

The ice cream here is really good and the service is pretty fast. Most of the Cold Stones have teens working and it kills me to watch these sluggish animals work but this one has teens that move a little more with a purpose!
