Like 95% of America, Starbucks got me addicted to coffee. I have been going to this Starbucks location since I attended Muscatel Middle School. It was where I matured from a Strawberries & Creme Frap to a Caramel Macchiato. If it wasn't for Starbucks, I would not be able to drink my coffee black right now. I'm kind of a coffee snob now too. What a gateway drug, eh? I've never ran into a rude employee here. I've came here from the early morning (6AM) to late at night night (30 minutes before closing). I've always been able to strike a conversation with some employees. The only difficult thing about this Starbucks is lack of inside seating. It is very easy to come here in the afternoon and not being able to find a seat in or out of the store. One cool thing is that they provide wireless charging now inside on multiple tables. My phone is not that advanced yet though, so no use for me.

My first review at a Starbucks but this place was seriously disappointing my first time at this location: PROS *Wifi *Neat charging stations CONS *My strawberry Acai which was like 70% ice (including a huge block that was about 4 ice cubes stuck together). Seriously? Did I really pay about 3 bucks for some ice? I thought I just got an unlucky cup, but to scroll through other reviews and see this consistent skimping on their drinks by showering them in ice is a big RED FLAG. If it weren't for their convenient location, I highly doubt this place would have lasted long. They need to fix it up in here.

Okay, well I usually never yelp about Starbucks because it's Starbucks so it kind of speaks for itself but this location has rude costumer service. I admit, the guy who took my order was very polite and attentive, but the guy who handed me my drink was so rude. I ordered the new Strawberry Acai drink (grande), and my cup was filled with ice from the lid to the bottom of the cup. After 2 sips, I was already halfway finished. My friend encouraged me to ask for more of the drink since 90% of my cup was ice. So I went to the guy who handed me my drink when it was ready and I asked him if he could put more because there was too much ice. He doesn't look me in the eye, or apologize, or anything. He just asks me to take the lid off, so I did. After, he takes out LITERALLY like 3 ice cubes when the cup has about 30 something, puts a little bit of the drink and notices space in the cup so he PUTS WATER. He then hands me the drink, I say thank you and "sorry for the inconvenience" IM saying that NOT him, and he tells me "Think before you drink" Noticing there's no manager around, it would be a lost cause to complain so I walked away and decided to tell other costumers about this Starbucks. So ridiculous to speak to costumers like that. Hope you all take notes from this review because no one should carry costumer service this way.

Worst customer service for a Starbucks, From the employees to the Manger. Every Starbucks I go to ,for gold members, you get free refills for tea and I pay the extra for lemonade and tea for 60 cents. I clarified to the employee I was a Gold member and he just told me to pay for the drink. Shocked to find the amount taken off was 3.45 after a refill discount of 10 cents. The manager came after the employee called him to fix the transaction. He started that if I wanted lemonade it had to be the regular price because there is no button for lemonade. Why didn't the employee0 tell me that? I'm just appalled this regular location is giving me a hard time and giving me attitude like I'm going to steal from them. I called Starbucks corporate to find out what the correct information so this won't happen again. They are as puzzled as I am. Starbucks franchise can not redeem discounts and may have a different set price. **theres a location in Vegas had my passion fruit tea with lemonade and strawberry for $7 and change for 30 oz.**

Very friendly Starbucks. Always have good service here. Parking is limited in this section of the plaza. No drive thru. Line is usually hit or miss but drinks come out pretty quick,

I would give it zero stars if I could!!! It's my first time using the Starbucks app and I asked staff how can I earn "stars" and he explains it to me...buy a gift card and upload it onto the app. So I did. I purchased the drink with the gift card. I sat in my car and uploaded the card to the app. I then realized I didn't get credit for the one I had just purchased, went back inside, and I explained I didn't get credit for the one I had just purchased. The staff said no, you have to upload it first. Wth?!? How would I know that, after I told you it was my first time using the app or know anything about it smh they screwed me over and deserves nothing for customer service!!!

The cashier was a bit rude and gave me a stink eye. I was there for awhile because I was studying, but I did not feel welcomed there nor did I appreciate his judgmental glare. Pros: wifi, somewhat clean area Cons: rude cashier, not so friendly employees...

So lately this Starbucks is having a downfall with me. Many of their workers are rude and have an attitude. Lately at the register there is no acknowledgement they just say "what can I get started for you?" Well, I wanted to reload my card first and when I was still speaking the girl interrupted and said "I can get your drink started for you!" So I told her my drink and the guy at the register walked away to where she ended up doing the reload on my card and then doing the payment for my drink. Neither transaction was I asked if I wanted my receipts and she just moved on to another customer. This is not how a customer should ever be treated when every other location I have been to have customer service standards. I've worked at Starbucks before and I was not trained to treat customers like this! So sad! If they don't change their ways they'll hold a low position in the work field.

My go to place when getting my car washed next door. What you would expect from any Starbucks. Clean and speedy service.

  • Calvin L.

There's no drive thru, but there are a bunch of seats, inside and out. There's also a ton of parking as the Sbux shares the parking lot with a bunch of other businesses. Great place to come to get some work done!

  • Nica T.

Terrible. Only two people here. Neither seemed to know what the hell to do and service was slow. Guy at register didn't acknowledge of greet me, nor say "I'll be right with you" or anything. I literally stood in front of the register for about 5 mins before he said anything. It's really sad- I used to love coming to this location and spent a lot of time here, but it's gone downhill.

This starbucks is located by the freeway, which was very easy for me to pick up coffee on my way to work! Staff is friendly, quick services, and they are willing to personalize your drink!!! Compare to other starbucks, their quality control is well maintained!!!! One down side is that, it might get kind of warm if you came here for work or study during the summer..... My recommendation is do not sit by the windows!

  • Jacob G.

Terrible!! First, I try ordering a chocolate cake pop which they ALWAYS understock and run out of by the end of the night, but the dude tells me they "discontinued" them because they "weren't selling very well". Liars!! Then, I go, "ok lemme get a chocolate cookie" with the same skepticism as the cake pop since they always run out. Fortunately they had one, BUT when I asked for it to be warmed up, because suddenly they don't warm up cookies anymore, the dude told me he JUST cleaned the damn oven and that it'll take an HOUR to warm back up. Oh! And this all happened like an hour before closing time. Seriously why the hell do you clean the oven during the fucking day and not AFTER business hours like NORMAL businesses?? That's like Jamba Juice deciding to clean their blenders in a locked dish washer before they close and go, "well, sorry customers we can't make yall any smoothies cuz were too stupid to clean our shit at a better time". WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

After reading all the negative reviews on here I was a bit worried about walking inside. I order two venti drinks and the guy who took my order was super polite and friendly. The young man who made my drinks was super nice. There was 3 workers tonight and every single one was polite to us.

  • Tammy N.

This Starbucks sucks, well at least the barista who made our drink did. There is a sign that clearly says, "if you are not satisfied with the drink, bring it back and we'll make you another one". When I bring a drink back that doesn't taste right, please remake it, you guys charge more than enough to be able to remake a drink and keep your customers happy. This barista just added some more syrup and gave it back to me. I also said its not hot enough, and she replied " I already made it extra hot". Apparently not because my tongue isn't freaking burning!

    (1)
  • Nancy R.

This Starbucks is okay... Really a hit or miss thing. More on the lower end of the totem pole, though. Sometimes they'll greet, sometimes they won't. Sometimes there are a boatload of people waiting to order and pick up & sometimes it's a ghost town I'm here. The one thing I can give them props on being consistent is on taking their sweet time making your drink! If I want better service & better customer service, I'll just drive over to the Target across the way... They have a Starbucks in it.

    (2)
  • Janet T.

Dear Starbucks, I know you make so much money with your over-priced brand name coffee & other miscellaneous items but, I still like you... I've fallen for your great service, friendly smiles and welcoming atmosphere plus free wifi for quite a while now... You got me hooked big time... Especially when I got a bunch of STARBUCKS GIFT CARDS for CHRISTMAS!!! This LOCATION is NOT AS CROWDED as the OTHER STARBUCKS! I'll be back, back, BACK! Janet P.S. Your Mr. Snowman cookies are the best! Oh no, I have to wait another year for it! Such a tease!

  • Holvin L.

Starbucks really can feel like your second home when there's good service and good coffee + breakfast items, although it is more expensive than your typical home-brewed coffee. I typically order the Java Chip, Caramel Bruleé, or the Cookie Crumble (when it's available). This particular location may be somewhat smaller than other locations in SGV, but there is plenty of parking in the plaza. Be sure not to do anything stupid though, e.g. shoplifting, because the Sheriff's Department is just across the street.

    (4)
  • Jennifer T.

Not my preferred Starbucks...but so conveniently located by a bunch of restaurants in the Rosemead plaza. Though the drink quality is regular Starbucks quality, and the service is A-OK, the seating is kind of weird. It's dark...at night, it's really dark. There are a few seats inside, and many seats outside. Usually opposite in other Starbucks. The ventilation is odd...a bit stuffy. And a huge rolling fan/AC was directly blowing toward the are you order at. It really was chilly while I was ordering.

  • Ruby W.

Not the greatest customer service. Cashiers have bad attitudes and are unwilling to answer questions. I always get a large tea from Starbucks and the last time, the barista didn't put the cap on securely and I almost spilled my piping hot tea all over myself. :(

    (2)
  • Francine L.

Plenty of parking at night and this place isn't as busy compared to other ones. I do think the outside seats are nice and the inside too. It is a little bit small but besides that you can pretty much find a seat if you wanted to sit here. Most of the time though if I end up here it is because I am going to somewhere else and not staying at this location for that long. Ordered a nice grande size iced green tea lemonade. It was pretty tasty especially after being at work for 10 hours and had it for my dinner. Woo Hoo!!

  • Lina M.

Had the grossest experience yesterday at this location. While the barista was making my drinks I decided to look at the pastry case to see which sweets to order. And to my surprise I found several (3-4) fruit fly type of bugs fling inside the pastry ( refrigerated) case. They were just flying all over the pastries while other just hung to the glass in the case. They were visible and not sure how staff or other customers did not notice! This is not hygienic at all and against the public health and food safety codes. I wanted to puke so bad that I could not even bare to drink what I ordered. I vow to never eat or purchase any pastries from Starbucks again. Please see photos!

Gotta kick this up a notch ya heard. I work in Rosemead and so I frequent the two Starbucks nearby quite often. The other one near Flair Dr has a drive thru and that's cool but I usually take lunch here at Rosemead Plaza so I probably come here more. Never had a bad experience. And had a very good one the last time I was here. There's a new Peach Green Tea Lemonade drink and I asked the girl barista (wish I remember the name) how it was. She gave me the ehhh it's alright, ALRIGHT finally some honesty. Said it was very bland not sweet enough, then made me a small cup (shaken and all) so I could try it. And guess what it WAS bland. So I walked out with my own drink, a small cup of the stuff that was bland (but as everyone knows whenever it's free it tastes better), and a new appreciation for this Starbucks.

I like that this Starbucks because... 1. It has lots of tables/chairs available to sit/study/relax. 2. The employees are also really nice. 3. Quick service! (but then it wasn't that busy when I came..) 5. AC in the hot summer. 4. It's in the Target plaza.

    (4)
  • Aaaa A.

It's close to home, there's free wifi, and they've never messed up my order. What else can you ask for from a coffee chain? I love you, Starbucks!

    (4)
  • Anna N.

Out of all the starbucks I have been to, this one probably have the worst service ever. No greeting? Fine, I can live with that. No thank you? Fine, I can live with that also. I only ordered an iced coffee with non-fat milk and it took me 15min to get it.... They were annoyed when I questioned where's my drink. Really, it's not a complicated drink to make and they weren't THAT busy. I know because I have visited plenty of Starbucks in San Francisco during their rush hour!

  • Cindy S.

Great hang out place with other good store around it. Love their service. Always energetic. Restroom is the place that I always pay attention. It's clean and smell fresh. ^_^

    (4)
  • Jen L.

The place has been renovated recently and it is much better arrangement of tables both inside and outside patio. It is usually crowded here even during the daytime. I usually get the drink to-go. It seems like a lot of people are there to study/do homework. Personally, I will not recommend that this is a good place to study.

  • Supattra S.

I love this starbucks. : ) It's pretty small, but it's nice. There a lot of smokers outside though. :l And I don't come here often because I have bad asthma, and the smoke isn't good for it.

  • Jenny L.

This Starbucks is conveniently located in the Rosemead plaza. However, the drinks are not consistent. Sometimes they're good sometimes they're okay-ish. I recommend getting their iced coffee with cream and extra sugar, hot chocolate, vanilla frap with caramel, and green tea frap.

    (3)
  • Michelle C.

I usually really love starbucks, cause after all.. how can you mess up coffee and tea? I order the regular caramel frap, caramel macchiato, and my new favorite iced black tea with strawberry. The customer service SERIOUSLY sucked here. I specifically ordered and I quote, " A venti sweetened ice black tea with strawberry syrup." A venti iced tea is usually 2.95 if I'm not mistaken as well and the cost a syrups which vary from store to store. When I checked my receipt they charged me for something totally different from what I ordered. It said "Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade blah blah blah". UM NO. That's not what I ordered, so I told the barista that she charged me for the wrong thing and her response was that she didn't. I order this drink at the starbucks in riverside all the time, and never did they ever charge me for some other drink. What I ordered was simple. It should have just been Venti Iced Black Tea + Add Strawberry. Not even that, the drink tasted DISGUSTING. Definitely not what I ordered or how I even wanted it. Tasted like syrup water. BOTTOM LINE: I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE. You probably shouldn't either.

Annoyed that the Barista didn't apply my discount. A few days after Christmas,I went in with a printed out coupon from Amazon local that I was given to as a gift on Christmas. The gift card has no expiration date but the discount expired on 12/31. I took out gift card-coupon and showed the barista and he made some comment that it was an Amazon thing. Okay so just follow the instructions on sheet!!! So he said everything was cool and scanned the bar code. It had been a while since I had been in Starbucks so I thought the total was the discounted amount. It turns out there is a code they have to enter manually to apply the discount. I looked on my receipt later and there was no % taken off. Had he read the 3 steps he would have understood how to do it!! The next 2 SBs I went into understood that right away. Just annoyed that I had to double check from that point on no matter which store that the barista understood what was on the paper and that yes it was purchased from Amazon but your store honors them and the discount! Smdh!! I give two stars because it was a sunny day out on the patio where I enjoyed my NON-discounted green tea frap!

Always thought Starbucks was a relaxing and socializing place, but some particular people (workers) can really screw the place over. Me and a group of friends went there the other day to finish our project. It was really relaxing until i finally decided to order a drink. I was all happy ordering my drink until she just gave me attitude by staring and answering with just one word. If you really don't want to be part of the Starbucks business then why are you working there? So far every other Starbucks worker i encounter are full of joy and love to socialize. That was pretty much everything i see and thought it would never change, but it did like 2 days ago. I think her name is Tina. She was cleaning outside and saw something ruined from the inside, she blames us for the mess, which really ticked us off. We're a little below 18 and that is the crap she will give to us? I clearly don't see an age restriction once i walk in Starbucks. Not knowing each other and she decides to use some harsh words. If i see her working there when i'm about to order, i will just walk out and say "hell no" loud enough for her to hear me. I will never use this place to relax, study, or do my project. I love every other Starbucks in the San Gabriel - Pasadena area except this place.

Good job on my carmel machiatto! It was the best I've had at any Starbucks and I've had many! It was perfect, I didn't have to put any extra Splenda on it! I had a great drinking experience here :)

  • Kathy D.

Service here sucks especially when the 3 young girls are on ..... rude nonchalant and just plain YOUNG and dumb. Most of the customers come from across the street motel/no tel hotel. (off the tour bus) and speak no english so you are always waiting for them to figure out what they want. This is a horrible starbucks even when its NOT busy. Too bad its so close.

Wow! This place is so extraordinary that it compelled me to register for Yelp and write my first review. I normally would consider all Starbucks 5 star establishments. The service and tea quality are all pretty good. But this Starbucks is very special in a very bad way. The moment I walked in, I was struck by how cold it was. In a way that foreshadowed the cold service. As soon as I sat down, I noticed there are extraordinarily few outlets for a Starbucks. Minus one star. Then I ask for a refill of Tea. Go to any starbucks in LA and they'll do it for you. I only get an icy response from the cashier asking if I have my receipt. Who keeps their receipt? Do I look like an accountant? As I say "really?" (with a puzzled look), she continues to offer me a bizarre corporate lecture about how she is not beholden to the "policies, rules, and statements" at other Starbucks locations. As I walk away, she gives an insincere thanks me for my understanding. It's the kind of "thanks for understanding" that you get from an automated voice after you've been on hold for 2 hours. Minus 1 star. Confused by the whole situation, I walk back to my chair, where I remember that I am still thirsty, so I go back to the counter and ask for tea. I'm not sure if it's different in other parts of the world, but where I grew up, in the United States, when you ask for water, it is not a complicated procedure. Someone grabs a cup, turns around, fills it with water, and turns around again. Judging from her appearance and her accent, she was indeed American. Interestingly, however, she did not understand how to serve water and acted like a cup of water was some sort of Model T in an assembly line and put it behind the other Macchiatos and Expressos, with instructions to the Barista that it was H2O that I had formally submitted a petition for. When a Barista asked me what I was waiting for, our pleasant cashier friend barked that my order was right there on the counter behind the other 4 drinks waiting to be made. Minus 1 star for also being scary/anal to other baristas. Aren't baristas usually nice and friendly to each other? As I was waiting about 10 minutes for my water to come out, I was unsure whether I was out of line or if this woman really was out of her mind. After I realized that the last time I felt like this, I was in detention in high school, I decided to ask if there was a suggestion box where I could suggest friendlier service. Surprise, there was none. An employee made the brilliant suggestion of going to some website called Starbucks.com . Of course there was no suggestion form there, so the only place left that I could go was Yelp. So here I am, and that's why this Starbucks gets 2 stars.

I used to walk over here every so often when I was in middle school. Warming: Around 3PM on Fridays or Minimum Days at the local Jefferson Middle School, little kids will be pouring in. Try to avoid this time if possible. I loved coming here after school. The staff is always friendly and my drinks come out really fast. One of my friends used to come here daily, and he was a favorite among one of the workers, so she gave him a free venti of his most commonly ordered drink. Now, I head over here on the morning before finals or before speech tournaments around 5AM. Even at this early hour, the staff have a bright smile on their faces and are excited for the day ahead. This is my favorite starbucks. I feel like I grew up with it. I started off with Hot Chocolate, advanced to Green Tea, and now I love the Americano. My Americano: A venti with a little Half & Half and five packs of Brown Sugar.

My Starbucks in Montebell kinda sucks so I've been coming to this one on my way to work and it feel s10x better!! They are quick and efficient. I've actually seen them be a little rude to other customers but they've never been rude to me! :D This is my go to Starbucks! THANKS guys YOU ROCK!

  • Lucy Z.

eeep! this place gets really really packed if you're looking for a place to study! also, since this place is in a plaza, there's always a lot of customers, and not worth the wait, if youre not coming here out of convenience. long wait for your drink too.. :(

There's really nothing special about this SB. But I have to give them props b/c I decided 2 $4 coffees in one day was so stupid so I decided to get a $1.60 regular coffee instead. Yeah, that's dumb too. Any how, I've been trying to stay off dairy so I've been drinking soy. So I go over to the little counter to doctor my caffeine and there's no soy milk! So the chick who's wiping offer the counter goes and gets some for me. Then, there's no raw sugar. I'm trying to give up refined sugar too. So she has to go get some of that for me too. I guess they need to do a better job of keeping their extras stocked. But she was very cool about the whole thing. So I'm giving them an extra star for being so friendly and cordial! Thanks!

i went here a couple days ago because of the conveniences of it being right off the freeway, and drive thru, and it being on the way to an important appointment i had in baldwin park. now, i've been to my fair share of starbucks locations. i realize sometimes it's hit or miss. however, no other miss was quite as egregious as this one. the drive thru barista was in no uncertain terms, a JERK, and on top of that, he got my order wrong AND overcharged me. shame, shame, shame! ugh. it was probably just this guy, but it definitely made me regret going to this one instead of the other 35 million starbucks locations around. ok, that was an exaggeration... but you know what i mean.

  • Ninkasi D.

Loved this location when it first opened East of 'Dena many years ago for the ample parking, good service, and quality and consistency of my "usual" - a triple grande soy latte. Unfortunately after having a loved one and several friends work at this location and be treated like crap by some of the managers who have worked there, I have to take off a star. But that's a whole 'nother subject for a whole 'nother forum. There's generally a good vibe here, always a bunch of regulars who hang out at the tables out front, and I think this one stays open pretty late, too.

  • Jonathan T.

Starbucks is starbucks. Drinks are made systematically so they all usually taste similiar. So why the crappy rating? Customer service sucks. Baristas give attitudes and it seems like they always are in a bad mood. Maybe Starbucks should just hire new staff. Probably the worst baristas I've seen, and I've been to a lot of other Starbucks locations.

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever went, got robbed while sitting there and study. I was using calculator on my phone, and as soon as I put my phone on the table, there was some strange guy grabbed it within just a second and ran away quickly. Everyboy in the store ran outside the store watching him ran away instead of chasing after him!! Also, another thing is their service was very horrible, I ordered just a venti green tea lemonade, and it took me 10 minutes to wait for it. I don't think I will ever go back to this branch again after what I've had experieced.

Bottom line of any coffee shop is the barista and the cashier, this location has good service and the coffee is good and quick. The location is clean and it isn't too crowded. Parking is good and the restroom clean. V

I wonder why there is low rating for this location. I love it because the barista are more personal with you. They practically know your name and remember what you usually order all the time. I also like this place because you can take advantage of their gold card membership. Free refills and for every 12 drinks and birthday you get a free drink!

I was just here last night and boy was it cold! There was absolutely no seats available indoors so I ended up having to take a seat outside in one of their many empty patio metal tables. This place is has always been pretty busy and crowded. The barista didn't even acknowledge me after I was standing in the cashier line waiting to place my order for a few minutes. The seem to be all over the place and that is ok since I know its busy but I wish I didn't have to wait to place my order when there is no line. I ordered a creme brulee latte grande with whipped cream. The drink itself was delicious and done correctly. Being that this particular location is so busy since it's in a plaza with Target, Chipotle and Rose City Pizza, the parking lot is also packed. This will not be my go to Starbucks unfortunately. I do like to go in, place my drink order and have some hope to find a nice seat indoors to stay warm on these chilly nights. It was a Tuesday and it was only 6pm.. probably finals time for many so I guess decent place to study at.. if you can find a seat.

Worse customer service ever! When I first walked in all the workers were at one resister talking. I was the only person waiting and no one acknowledged me. When they finally decided to do their jobs, they all dispersed but still no one acknowledged me. The guy at the register just stands there looking at me. He doesn't greet me or ask if I'm ready to order. So I decided to just tell him my order and ask about the buy one get one free deal for members. He says with attitude "it's for members only" and I said okay I have a card . And he just stares at me. And I just told him my next drink and he's says with even more attitude and annoyance, "I'm going to have to charge you the higher price." I said that's fine and he goes "again you need to have a card." The whole time this guy is talking to me like I'm an idiot. He was rude and mumbled all his words. The barista who handed me my drinks slams them down and doesn't while I said thank you and just points the the cup holder and walks away. I can't believe these people. If they hate their jobs so much why are they working here. The customers who come and support Starbucks are the ones who gives them paychecks. Without customers there wouldn't be a Starbucks. They need to train their employees to be more polite to people.

Nice & helpful baristas. Genuine & helpful w suggestions. Clean. Not too crazy packed. But there was a big homeless guy asking every person sitting outside for $. He even followed ppl in the parking lot. They never show that side of breaking bad...

Really poorly designed Starbucks. Ever since the new PCC campus opened up in Rosemead, I've seen more and more people coming in to study. I'm all about studying at Starbucks. But this place has space in all the wrong places. There are like 25 chairs for outside seating which are NEVER filled to 1/4 capacity. It's pretty consistent that people prefer to sit inside Starbucks. As far as the inside goes, it's dark, narrow and has only two square tables to sit at. That's it. A whole wall dedicated to bar-style seating where you can only have a laptop in front of you, and small round tables that you need a high barstool to reach the top of. It's really unideal to study at. The lighting is dark. Too dark. And the god awful music... Why does Starbucks play fast paced jazz, opera or slow paced lullaby music in a coffee shop? Neither is suitable to study, read or relax in. It seems like the lullaby music encourages you to get a caffeinated drink while the fast music is played to make you think the caffeine drink is really working. Idk, but they got it all wrong at this shop. My advice; remodel. Get some proper, wide wooden tables, remove bar seating, remove the ridiculously small circular tables and reduce your outside seating capacity by 75% to make space for indoor seating. If this place is full I don't buy a drink. Simple as that. If you have seats where I can study, I buy a drink. When you have 20-25 chairs outside not being used, it's like losing potential income. Fix it whoever owns this particular Starbucks!!!

Pro's: Friendly employees, standard starbuck fare (Consistent). Patio seating is nice on a sunny day in the direction it faces. good strong wifi. Con's: Parking - spots are narrow in the strip mall part of this shopping center (it is tucked away in the corner near Ono, Radioshack, a shoe shop, thai restaurant, etc.) so during lunch the parking gets packed and you might need to park in Target's parking lot. They have a couple of spots right in front for 10 min parking but nobody seems to abide by these. The smoking....lots of elder asian men smoking on the patio in the outdoor area....this was my biggest complaint....Nothing against smokers but please smoke elsewhere and not share your smoke with others.

I came for their Happy Hour deal before 3pm and there were lots of people just relaxing outside as if they did not know about the deal haha.. we were first and the cashier was nice enough to us not to take our order before 3pm. Good Starbucks, really good location because it's in a plaza that has alot of other stores (like Target!) to walk around while you drink your Starbucks.

Never went to a Starbucks where the baristas are not friendly. They do not smile and when they are done making the drink they say the name so soft that for someone who was sitting near the door cannot hear their name. Someone actually took my drink after I asked them why my drink was taking so long after three people behind me already got their drinks. I was setting up my study area near the door so I couldn't hear my name. just crappy service

So, my brother got me a drink here while I was working @ rolling rice (in the same plaza). Then after drinking it, it tasted a little unsweeten, so 30 mins after work I went there to ask them to add couple more pumps of vanilla & the girl just stared at me & didn't say anything. & a guy comes & asks how many. & she goes, was this from another starbucks? & I said no, my bro bought it earlier & just gave it to me. Then she gave me a dirty look. I guess she was curious cos she didn't see me come in & buy a drink but seriously?? Why does it matter! It's still a Starbucks! Not like I went to coffee bean & come to them & asked for some pumps of vanilla. Ridonculous!

I just want to scream at someone 75% of the time I'm here. -__- The employees, one guy in particular, needs some MAJOR customer service help. I wish I caught his name tag when he helped me. Not only does he not speak up when he asks me a question about my order, I ask him to repeat it because I didn't hear, and this guy has the nerve to roll his eyes at me. The drinks here... don't even get me started. Constantly something wrong with my drinks. I don't think I order complicated drinks.. My usuals are either coffee frap or a vanilla ice coffee with milk. Simple drinks, but somehow always gets mixed up or done wrong (instead of frap, I usually get coffee + huge block of ice hiding under whipped cream that I don't want). This location is conveniently positioned a mile away from my house, in the Target plaza, and right next to the car wash I go to all the time.. I would love this place so much more if it didn't suck so much.

A lot of the reviews here are from 2010 so hopefully everyone realizes that by now they have a different staff. There's enough seating for about 10 groups but only one set of plugs if you were interested in studying. It looks more like a grab and go type place. The employees know customer names and were patient with one particular guy asking repeatedly for the same thing (haha). My cashier was cool, when she asked for my name, I said it and she repeated it and started writing something down while i nodded. She stopped mid-write and asked, "I got it wrong didnt I?" She did. And it just made me laugh. My drink came out quick, it wasnt burning hott which was good for me because I can still feel my taste buds and I didn't have to freeze before I waited for a hot drink to cool down in this weather. All 3 employees on the floor were happy, smiling and you could actually hear them smile through their hi's and hello's as corny as that sounds. Conversations/intros heard while here :) "Good morning, how are you? Do you have to work today?" (to a little girl): "Hi (name)! How was your game?" "Bye (name)! We'll see you again!" "You guys are so consistent here with my drink."

Worst Starbucks ever! I've never had Starbucks employees be so rude to me! The cashier acts like you don't exist and would rather unwrap items than look at you when taking your order. The "barista" who made my drink had a stank face the whole time. She made my drink way too milky and I asked her if she could pour more iced coffee in it and she just stared at me like I was so annoying when I asked politely. What kind of "service" is that? These employees need to improve their attitudes. I'm definitely never going to this Starbucks ever again.

Killed some time here before dim-sum at Sea Harbour and all I can say is that this is one of the typical crummy Starbucks - no clover, cramped seating, ignorant employees, and a selection that is mostly Pikes Place and Blonde plus some random over-roasted (burned) dark roast. Pass.

Really?? 4 staff standing around when I walked in, no customers in front of me or waiting for drinks and they still took their time to take my order. And I waited more than 10 mins for the drink...if this one was not so close to where I live I definitely won't be coming here.

If I could give no stars, I definitely would. The service is TERRIBLE HERE. Theyre lucky Im not the one paying for the drinks, but I have a vendor that always purchases for drinks for my office from this SB location, and Im the one in charge to call in and order. and EVERY SINGLE DARN TIME the employees at this SB get it wrong. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Enough is enough, the first 8 times I just bit my tongue and dealt with it, but this time, I re-confirmed my order, made this girl name Jessica read back to me what I ordered AND THEY STILL GET IT WRONG. (Im writing in caps to express my sincere anger!!!!) But seriously, I think this branch takes advantage of my vendor because these SB employees know my vendor is just going to come in the pay for it and not know what I originally ordered. Today, I ordered 1Green tea soy latte 2 rasp-ice tea lemonade 1 caramel mochiatto 1 black tea lemonade 1 banana 1 bagel 1 cheese danish heres what I got in return 1 green tea soy latte 1 rasp ice tea lemonade 1 caramel moch 1 black tea 1 bagel 1 cheese danish They forgot two items. I asked my vendor for the receipt, because I told them this SB messed up and yup, of course, the cashier charged for everything I ordered, but of course, didnt give everything on the receipt. Other times, its that they mess up on a cold drink and make it hot, or sizes, missing drinks, or wrong drinks. Their service here sucks, all your employees either have hearing complications or reading disabilities. I cant imagine how much my vendor has been paying for items he's not getting in return, including the other offices he's purchasing drinks for. Its a nice gesture for him to do this for us and to know that he's being taken advantage of, pisses me off so much that I had to come and write a review. Hire new employees, get rid of every single one there. Its not just 1 individual that keeps messing up, Ive talked to all of them. and by the looks of the other reviews here, you should probably get the hint that you all need to work on customer service, enroll in a reading comprehension course, and take a physical by your doctor to test your hearing. Happy Hump Day!

I come here a lot since it is very close to work, but the coffee here (Iced coffee, Mocha) is definitely different than my usual spot near my house. Parking is a bit annoying since there is a Radio Shack next door and B of A. Might have to walk a little bit where the farther parking spots are. Also I wish they had a drive thru!

Only come here coz it's on my way back home after work, usually come in the morning at around 8 am. No greetings whatsoever from the staff members, no smile, rushes me when I take my order, throwing all the pastries on the counter and expect me to find out which ones are mine. Not the worst experience but definitely not a good one. Gave two stars coz at least they made my drink right.

Small and quaint, but they are renovating soon. Can't wait to see the new look! Aside from that, the employees are very friendly and wonderful, and they haven't made any of my drinks wrong as of yet! :)

I come to this starbucks only cause its convenient for when I'm going to school, but if I had the choice I would rather drive an extra few miles and go to the one on valley and Santa Anita. The workers here are beyond RUDE. Learn a thing or two about customer service & take that stick out of your FAT ASS. Hate the workers here. Can not stress this enough. I came in to order a drink and went outside to get something from my car & had my boyfriend go in to get the drink. When he went to the bar to pick up my drink he asked "is this for Teresa ?" & the lady went "how am I suppose to know ?" REALLY ?! well maybe if you weren't so lazy & had a complete attitude change & took a second out of your time to ask for my name like you were suppose to then it wouldn't have even happened. RUDE. Everytime I come I have a horrible experience.

If Starbucks cant fix the broken AC ( for several weeks now) then something is wrong with the immediate management and if its anything like the employees (actually 1 female ) working there..then my recommendation is to patronize another location.... its not so much the employee attitudes and nasty faces and indignant responses but more the failure of the customers to effectively show their disappointment in the customer service.....just stop going....I prefer the Starbucks location on the southside of the 10 fwy in the flair park area....yes its smaller , but it has a drive-thru , the manager (jung) is professional , courteous and listens to the customer....btw the store is being remodeled as I type....so dump the lousy starbucks location ( Target Plaza) , write a Yelp review , submit an online complaint ( customerservice.starbuck… ) and step back and let the natural selection process do its thing and maybe when you later return to visit the 3620 rosemead location , it'll be a welcoming , professional store

This Starbucks location, at least to me I find is a little smaller than other locations. The service is great and the it's near my by my work, so a great place to go to for a quick break. The location is not a drive-thru so don't get it mixed up with the Starbucks located of Flair Drive. It does get packed towards the afternoon to evening, but recently the remodeled their outside patio seating area so it's much nicer and more room to accommodate the traffic that comes through here. The only thing about this location is their parking. Yes, there is a lot of parking spaces on the lot that you can park a distance and walk over which is not that bad, but you do have to be careful of cars coming at you. This Starbucks is a corner location so the parking near the place is usually occupied by coffee loving individuals or other people going to one of the many other stores on that lot.

This is a nice Starbucks with an efficient staff. It seems to be very busy too. My complaints are the following: 1. Slooooow wifi. It is almost useless. I got a faster connection on my smartphone. 2. Hard chairs and stools make it uncomfortable sitting for a long time.

I had to finally write a review cuz this Starbucks is like "cheers" to me. When I come in, I'm greeted and everyone knows my name and drink! It can get packed and crowded at times but I love that they are friendly and love the new petites, try the tiramisu one!!! Dont come early a.m., cuz its busy! Afternoon is better, way chill, i can study in peace. they have an outside area to sit and chill too.

Stopped by this morning to order my Venti Peppermint Mocha (hot). One of my favorite drinks during this time of year (even though it is still offered throughout the entire year). This location was surprisingly filled with quite a lot of people in the lounging area. I only saw 1 worker taking orders and making the drinks. Luckily, it wasn't super busy but I later heard another worker in the back room. Not quite sure what she was doing, but I felt that she could have been helping the girl in the front. LOCATION - This is a SMALL Starbuck's. NO DRIVE THRU. :( There's a lot of parking spaces, but since it's located right in the corner, the parking is mostly always filled. LOCK YOUR DOORS and KEEP THINGS OUT OF SIGHT because I came out once and noticed someone smashed the windows of the car next to my ex-bf's truck.

Poor customer service. I'll be waitin 10 mins in line cause there's only one or two workers all the time. Most of the workers don't look happy but hey I assume youve been there since 7 in the morning maybe.. But what did I do to you to get dirty looks haha it's ok though. There's always something wrong with my drink...... Something's it's too sweet sometimes it's not sweet enough.

I always thought it would be hard to be unhappy with a Starbucks but the staff here proved me wrong. Even though the drink was not made to my satisfaction instead of complying and fixing my drink the guy argued with me about how the drink is "suppose" to be. I have been ordering this drink for the past 5 years and this was the first barista to tell me differently. I do not appreciate going into a Starbucks and being argued with especially as a gold card member! Never again will I go to this Starbucks! They are so rude!

This is one of my favorite Starbucks. I guess you can say coffee is coffee, and that one Starbucks is same as the next. However, the atmosphere and the service and the attitudes of the staff make the coffee taste that much better. Even when I take my coffee to go (as I mostly do), it makes a difference. One more distinguishing thing about this location is that they will sometimes brew 2 bold picks. I hardly ever drink their Pike Place Roast. It's just not very good. But their bold picks are so wonderful: Casi Cielo, Gazebo Blend, Anniversary Blend, Sumatra, Komodo Dragon, Sidamo.... I can just go on. Starbucks! You did a good thing when you made the Morning Pick into Bold Pick of the Day. Now I enjoy the Bold varieties throughout the day! Meet me for coffee here! ;-)

The staff is nice ya but they can't make any drink right. Caramel Machiatto - just didn't taste like a Caramel Machiatto like at the many other Starbucks locations I've been too. Pumpkin Spice Latte - where's the pumpkin flavor? There was a faint faint hint of cinnamon though. Hot Chocolate - kinda bland, it had that bitter dark chocolate flavor - i liked it but thought it could use a little bit of sugar. Okay this location is officially off my list.

Excellent service!!!! Started out with ordering my drink and I always request not to sweet and many place don't understand that meaning. Came out just the way I liked it. Bitterness from the expresso shot with a hint of sweetness to even out. I spilled my drink at the barstool area right when I barely had a few sips. Being it my mistake I apologetically said sorry and shamelessly watch her, Jessica, clean up my mess. She remembered my drink and I got a fresh new one. Starbucks policy, AWESOME. But the fact that she remembered my drink so precisely and it came out perfect again, I couldn't help but make my first YELP review ever! THANK you Jessica for this wonderful service.
