Went here last night. Had a drink. It was a little empty so we stepped out to go get some food and check out the other bars. We came back to The Fox and were then told we couldn't go in because my boyfriend has tattoos on his neck. Are you kidding me! That new management is strict but there's guys in there with tattoos that are actually gang related but just because they're not on their necks it's okay? What a dumb way to manage that. It wasn't our type of crowd anyways but still I found it very ridiculous. So if you have tattoos don't even bother going there.

This place is awesome! Fantastic service and sickest atmosphere. The bartenders are the best in town and always show love to the customers as well as all the waitresses. If you're in Pomona you definitely have to stop by this place. You won't regret it

Writing an update because the last one was my experience from awhile ago. I'm sure they updated the Security staff, even so, I went back to give it another try. New door man and new bartenders, all ladies, to attract the fellas, I presume. However, upon stumbling my second experience Friday night, all I wanted to do was get in a dance. I couldn't even do that, the DJ was horrible. Caters more to the "shots! shots! shots!" crowd. I'm not trying to get a random guy to dry hump me on the dance floor. I wait around with my girlfriend for half an hour hoping the DJ played something decent. Still to no avail. While waiting, the tables were FILTHY, there was previous drinks that watered down the tables and tables were wobbly as heck. I almost tipped over 3 times. They need an upgrade. Or, the lady bar keeper can be a real woman and wipe down the tables every hour instead. The drink I ordered was a whiskey sour. ALL SOUR. No thanks. I guess that was my last shot at the Fox Bar. Still dirty and ratchet as before. tsk tsk.

This place is garbage. The fact that I have to give them a star is pretty upsetting. Their "security guards" are bunch of wanna be cholos that take their "authority" too far. Like really bro? It's Pomona relax! Their bathrooms are by far the worst I have ever seen in my LIFE. I know bar restrooms are pretty gross but this one takes the cake. The bartenders are rude!! God forbid you don't tip them well on your first drink because they will ignore you all night! I will NEVER spend a dime at this bar, and I'll make sure to spread the word. There a plenty of bars in downtown Pomona. F**k this place.

  • John A.

Forget about it ! I love it! You can check in anytime, but you can never leave! Come in on your birthday, they will take care of you. Elvis the manager is one cool dude!

Great place for a happy hour! Good selection of craft and domestic beers!! They make great mixed and signature drinks. Bartenders are very friendly.2x1 happy hour can't be beat! DJ starts spinning at night! Always a lively crowd! Someone is always on the dance floor! I read a couple reviews about how this place isnt a great place. I have came here often and never had a bad experience. The bartenders and waitresses are very friendly. The food is great! Calamari and the Buffalo wings are my favorite. Only people who like to write bad reviews would say this is a bad place! It's located at historic fox theater adjacent to all great concert theaters and art walk!! A must try !

Bouncer didn't let my buddy in because he had a neck tattoo even though we were just inside the bar an hour earlier...

  • Yarely M.

Filthy. Mixed drinks are horrible. I got a drink here without getting carded. Anyone can come here.

  • Karen M.

Do not come here save your money and time. I'm from San Diego and I came to visit friends. Horrible service. The waitress doesn't know her drinks. I asked for kettle one they didn't have any. I asked for Bombay they didn't have it either. Michelov ultra they didn't have it. What kind of bar is this?? I got a vodka tonic and it tasted like ass. I talked to the "manager" and asked him if I could get a ciroc instead. He charged me for the one that tasted like butt and the ciroc. Great management. Never coming back again. Going to vive instead. This place suckss and the cups are sample size for $10 .

Fun Friday Night! -Good drinks -Good crowd -Good music Small place but I like it! Love the Fishbowl drinks! =)

  • Daniel S.

The security is pushy and the bartenders are unfriendly. The drinks are watered down and the floors and tables are always sticky. The bathrooms are always filthy, and the music is hit or miss. This is not the place you want to spend your evening. There's much better bars to choose from in downtown Pomona.

    (1)
  • Corey S.

This is where you need to start in order to get your feet wet in Downtown Pomona. This bar is attached to the famous Pomona Fox, the main attraction to Downtown Pomona and the city's most famous landmark. There is an upstairs and a downstairs. The downstairs is MORE popular than the upstairs. Both have outdoor patios, bars DJ's and a dance floor. The music played here is EDM(Electronic Dance Music) or Hip Hop. Hip Hop and some Latin songs are played downstairs. Admission is free, you get a wristband and you get to go in and out. It can be a bit crowded at times, especially downstairs. Food and drinks were decent. Some people have complained about being double charged when using their credit/debit card. I would recommend bringing cash. There is a Bank Of America nearby on Garey. There are occasional performances here. Cool vibe and decent people. The Green Room offers a better musical experience. This place gives Downtown Pomona a focal point it needs to remain vibrant and lively.

I used to constantly come to this bar but I recently went with a friend who had a matricula (a Mexican ID) and the bouncer denied her entrance, even though we had came here several times and never had an issue! Its not worth it the drinks are about $10-$15 and the DJ's they hire keep getting worse.

    (1)
  • Neil S.

Service was friendly but couldn't get the food out. We walked out with a 45+ minute wait for our food. We were told they only have one chef, but a burger should not take that long. Absolutely horrible! So we walked out with no food. A place next to a venue for shows/concerts should be prepared for people coming to eat before a show. The Fox Sports Bar & No Grill failed. I seriously think they had to send the cook to the market to get the ingredients for a burger.

    (1)
  • Tiffany A.

Ghetto! If you feel like being grabbed by filthy dirty "boys," then you have found your place! Drinks are over priced. Music can be ok...then go to poop in a second flat. Don't waste your time.

    (1)
  • Karen C.

Drinks are strong....too strong to the point that you can't even enjoy them. It's always too crowded and at any given moment, someone will throw up in the bar.

    (2)
  • Teesha B.

The Fox for me is HOME. The bartenders have always been friendly and down to earth. The service is great and the food is good. Happy hour has buy one get one free drinks before 7pm plus half off appetizers. Come in for a drink and casual conversation. On a Friday or Saturday nights, be prepared for a MASS party -Sometimes top 40s, and on occasion EDM nights with an upcoming Pomona DJ going by the name of DYLO. Look him up;)

  • W L.

This place was ok, but the appalling thing that happened was they charged my credit card TWICE for the same amount. I called, complained & the person on the phone was of no help. I then asked for a manager & she said one would not be in today, I asked when the manager would be in and she replied, tomorrow. I asked what time & she said I don't know, 3 I think & I asked if she was she sure & she said she didn't know, she absolutely no help w/ getting me a refund or telling me when the manager would be in. Luckily my credit card comp refunded me the $, I just wonder how many people they scam like this because this happened to a buddy 2 days later @ the same place. Will NEVER EVER come here again

    (1)
  • Jason B.

One word.... Ghetto! Lol! It smelled, bad food and the only reason I gave this place a one star because of the beer prices were decent.

    (1)
  • Tiffany M.

Its loud downstairs, and the volume from upstairs is good for talking or outside for smokinh. It can get crowded on Friday or Saturday. Music is edm or hip hop. Crowd is diverse. Attire is either upscale or casual. Drinks are average n prices are average. Entrance is free. I recommend going if never gone or a place to go. :)

    (5)
  • Edwin M.

Sports bar in its truest sense and for that I can't knock it. Good looking bartenders Non watered drinks and a respectable dress code. No hoodlums. I didn't grow up drinking in Pomona cause I spent my time in Pomona hardcore dancing at the Glasshouse and don't really know what the norm is for bars but i would say it fairs well in Downtown douche bag bar scene.

    (4)
  • Kathereen O.

I love love love love it here! Always a good time and I've never had a problem. The music and the atmosphere is great. All the bartenders are great and super nice. They get to you and get your drinks out super fast. Shana is awesome! Go see her! The only downside is it does get crowded and there sometimes isn't anywhere to sit. Other than that no negative comments.

  • Max B.

Went yesterday before the Interpol show. It was also Monday night football. The bar was maybe half full and the service was bad. After glaring at our server for several minutes, I got up and went to her to order another round of drinks. They had typical bar food. I went for the safe bet of chicken strips...worst idea. I don't know how you can mess up chicken strips but they did. They tasted like horrible old oil and my fries weren't any better. Soggy and oily. The only reason I didn't give this place 1 star is because the beers were priced okay. Basically, I'm not coming back before a show or ever unless it's JUST to have a beer.

    (2)
  • Alfred S.

Came here for drinks with a friend after work. Not a bad spot. Chill vibes, bartender was nice. Will probably check it out again on a weekend.

    (3)
  • Charles T.

Pretty cool place. Got some nice beers on tap. DJ plays nice hip-hop songs with some Latin mixed in there. There's also some tables and booths upstairs if it's a bit crowded downstairs. Nice place to be at on a Friday night.

    (5)
  • Yole B.

Ahhh. Five bartenders I was the only patron in there, over prices tacos 2.00 as big as my finger. Had to ask for everything, utensils , fresh cheese, napkins etc.. Stop looking in the mirror at your make up and pay attention to the one customer you have.. Too bad I wanted to spend a lot of money there.. Won't be back

I like hitting up the Fox Sports Bar especially to watch UFC fights for freeee, theres a sound system with speakers set up so you can actually hear the commentary unlike Hooters or BBW so thats a major plus for me, what a real sports bar is supposed to be, so I come here often with friends when it's fight nights or a Lakers game. The staff is usually friendly and the atmosphere is chill, there are a couple cute waitresses that come around often to check if I need another draank. There are daily specials for drinks and the food is great as well, I like the hot wings and the burger and fries, good bar food and its not that expensive .. Oh yeah, I noticed all the yelpers talking crap about Fox are punk ass out of towners!! hater ass tourists! Ask a local like me that really knows Ptown .. Be a regular custy and the service is great, try and get to know the bartenders and staff .. I hate hit and run jerks that give bad ratings after one visit, a little loyalty goes a long way.. Thanks and good luck Fox!

So I took one of my best friends out to The Fox Bar and Grill. And like always Elvis took such great care of us. I love this place. Full of laughs and always welcoming . Thank you Elvis for making Sarah feel so welcome. She can't wait to visit again from AZ.

  • Juan G.

    Great Happy Hour!! Everything is 2 for 1, except for the pitchers of beer. But I wouldn't order the pitchers here anyway because they are very small; about 34oz (see my picture I attached to this review). It gets packed on Thursdays around 9pm, TV's everywhere, and a DJ spinning. Cool vibe, no angry people. FYI: there are taxi's that park right outside so you don't have to hassle with the Pomona PD. {=,=}

I LOVE THIS PLACE There are a tons of reason why i love this place so ill rattle off a few . The staff here is great . They know how to make a good drink and you dont wait forever to get served .They have a bouncer name JOHN and this dude is legit. We have all been to clubs/bars and theres that bouncer that takes his job WAY TOOOOOOOOO SERIOUS . John is really down to earth and takes care of the customer . I made the mistake of wearing my Brooklyn Dodgers hat to the bar ( Go Dodgers ) and I didnt know you couldnt wear hats after 9pm. Instead of making walk my hat alway back to my car john took my hat and put it in the back and saved me a long trip back to my car . KUDDOS JOHN Secondly, ive never seen a drama or fights since ive been here , Now mind you this is Pomona , So you will see a few see a few girls that are size 14 in a size 10 dress and that guy in shades and a leather coat ( I fucking hate that guy ). Now if your a curvy girl that wasnt a diss; im just saying get a dress that fits . Now if your that guy in the leather coat and shades in a hot dark club please kill yourself. Lasty, they serve a beer called Pomona Queen . Pomona Queen is a red ale that is brewed by the Dale Bros company out of upland . Its very hard to find outside of the Pomona area . If you love beer like i do try Pomona Queen you will thx me later

  • Joel A.

Good appeal to this bar. Younger crowd 21-25. Downside - $6.00 for a 12oz cup of pomona queen, and they serve ALL beer in a plastic cup......feels like a high school party...awesome. Plenty of females ,however after dancing with several I think the ladies were not having it. Vive down the block looks a bit nicer... would return in the future.

wow..it was fun going to the Fox sports Bar & grill....I thought it was just a sports bar...it turns into a club on Fri & Sat nights...

Went on a Friday night..Ghetto, Small and over crowded. The drinks are garbage, everyone I know gets sick from this place. The bartender doesn't know what he's doing!

    (1)
  • Amber M.

We just came in for a couple drinks. The service was pretty good and the drinks aren't too expensive. I'm sure we'd go back next time we're in the area.

  • Alejandro S.

I stopped in here after seeing it from the street. It looked like a nice place. I'm 32 years old and I asked for a drink. The bartender told me he does not and would never accept a military identification. I thanked him for his time and respectfully told him I would leave. I did not want to get into a deep discussion, but I was definitely left with the impression he did not like soldiers. As a veteran, I cannot support a facility that does not support me, my military service, or my fellow servicemembers. I would recommend you not patron this establishment.

  • M P.

Elvis makes THE BEST Bloody Mary's!!!! and don't get me started on the Micheladas :P, they're know for those here!! The atmosphere is coo, different crowd all the time. Overall, clean restrooms, polite staff, clean facility.

  • Desiree H.

Perfect for Happy Hour! Nice location on the corner, parking in a lot across the street. Not too crowded therefore we were served quickly! When our beer was empty, our refill was not far away. Buy one get one free on all well, bottled and drafted beers! Imported included! During HAPPY HOUR of course. Half off of appetizers as well. So that was a nice surprise. Long patio with tables for smoking, TVs playing the games inside. 8 drafts 3 appetizers all for $40.00 including the tip! not bad if you ask me!

  • Eva M.

If you are looking for a place to watch a UFC fight, my advice: LOOK ELSEWHERE. This place SUCKED. They have some guy doing his own commentary, he is not funny, insulting to the fighters you're watching, and way too loud you can't hear the person next to you. I would much rather hear Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg do the commentary - they are pros after all. The women's restroom was a mess - the faucet was broken and this seemed unsafe since you probably needed a wrench to turn it on/off. The waitress was cute, couldn't remember more than one thing at a time, but like I said, she was cute. My drink fell of their wobbly table and the glass shattered. The "manager" came and made sure the glass was cleaned up, but when I explained that it was a full glass, he never offered to replace it with another. - Very low class. This place is ghetto, full of very unprofessional staff.

  • Felisha H.

We came in before Primus and dropped 50.00 on drinks and the MOST horrible food I have ever eaten. We got the Cajun chicken sandwich and it was so dry I had to gulp down beer just to get through a bite. The Caesar salad was a slime bowl of dressing. We are seriously considering calling the bank to buck the charge. Tried to say something to the bar tender but she snapped that there was only one cook. Will never go here again!!!!!

    (1)
  • Dren L.

Only reason I came to this spot was for the fight, but I figured I'd try out the food: Big Mistake. Food was bad. Nachos didn't look appealing, I mean how can you mess up on Nachos, but boy did they ever. My friend got some dry ass wings. I ordered the chicken cajon sandwich and it was dry and flavorless. We asked the waitress for a beverage and said she would ask to see if they carry it and never returned with a response. Just not a spot I would ever come back to.

    (1)
  • Scott P.

Nice bar with decent food (calamari was good) and reasonable prices. Nice people working there, too. I dropped my prescription glasses and didn't realize it until I was home. I called, they had found them and held them until I went back another day. All very friendly in the process, I think in other places I would have never seen the glasses again, that was a big save.

    (5)
  • Vera P.

Worst bartenders of any bar I've ever been to. They're idiots!

  • Josh K.

As far as nightlife is concerned, I've always been a big city kind of fellow. I'm used to the fact that in SF there's always a bar open within a mile or so of where you are, and there's people in it every evening -- quiet nights are never really EMPTY nights. I come down to the Pomona area to visit my girlfriend's family every couple of months. During that time, we make a point of hanging out with friends who live in this area. The last two times we came, though, we always ended up at the Yard House in Chino Hills. Which is a great place, but I always thought: Can't I do better than drinking on an island in the sea of gigantic parking lot? The city boy in me wants DOWNTOWN. So this time, our friends called up on a Sunday evening at 10pm and I suggested we go to not-Yard-House. A bit of yelping brought up Acerogami in Pomona's Art Colony. Sure, why not? Artists don't give a damn what day of the week it is and they always need a drink. It's bound to be open. And that part of Pomona looked deliciously downtown-like. So we drove on down and everything was closed... dead. My city boy dreams were dashed. After some puttering around we found that two things were open, The Fox and a really creepy comedy club with free admission (and we might have gone to the comedy club, except that we heard the jokes from outside and, long story short, opted out.) Enter the Fox... we got a pitcher of local Pomona beer for $9. The crowd wavered between nonexistent and mellow. They have a respectable bar setup and should be able to service most mixed drink requests, non-water beers on tap, and the barkeep was attentive. I wasn't bowled over by this bar, but it did its job for a good price, and thank God, it's not the damn Yard House. So it's a solid 4 star place for now. Would be 5 star if they had the variety of YH without being it, you know? :)

  • Jazmin H.

So a huge group went here for the Fight (Canelo Vs Maywether). Maybe its luck, but we had a whole VIP experience! It was so much fun!! We'll definitely be coming back here again!

    (5)
  • Bea F.

I give this place 5 stars because the bartenders are friendly and the drinks are well made. From time to time the local zoo let's some of it's animals out for the evening. This place does seem to be ghetto at times but, all in all it's a cool place to hang out and have a good time. Just don't make eye contact with the animals otherwise your in trouble. Excellent Happy Hour: 2 for 1 drinks (except Martini's) I will update my review as soon as I get specific times of Happy Hour.

    (5)
  • Gustavo S.

Few words to describe this place particularly if you grew up in Pomona: HIGH SCHOOL REUNION...it is an okay place to get a drink on or meet people...drinks vary depending on who makes them

    (3)
  • Alisa S.

Been here a few times and for what it is (a smallish bar in pomona) its great. Haven't been here for happy hour, but the drinks are reasonably priced and, typically, the music has been chill too. Because of the area it can be a hit or miss with the people, but by far the chillest place to grab a drink downtown.

    (3)
  • Kristin P.

The best part about this bar is the Happy Hour! And hopefully they still have it, because I haven't been recently. Buy one get one drinks. Can't go wrong with that! I've been here a few times, a couple times before shows at either the Glass House or Fox Theatre (both right around the corner). Also been once or twice on a Friday night. In my opinion the bar is better in the day, as later in the evening it can get pretty crowded (it's pretty narrow) and full of drunk locals...which in Pomona...is on the sketchy/ghetto/hoodrat/angry side. The food here is pretty standard, nothing to rave about but no complaints. The owner is pretty friendly but for whatever reason feels the need to name drop about celebrities he's hung out with.....weird. All in all a good bar with great happy hour during the week. Oh! and lots of tv's to catch a game.

    (3)
  • Elizabeth S.

Great Happy Hour. Drinks are 2 for 1 and 50% of appetizers. Service is ok. Sometimes they don't have enough people working there when there's large groups. So it takes some time to get a drink. One time it was 10 minutes to Happy Hour and they started charging me full price. Wasn't too happy about that. Other times there's not a lot of people there. They have an small upper level for groups which was nice when a bunch of my friends went because we had it all to ourselves.

  • Doug C.

Came here before a concert at the Fox Theatre to watch the UFC fights. To start, they don't charge of a cover which is great. We arrived at about 6:30 and had no problem getting a seat with a decent view some of the many TVs on display. Service was fast and friendly (and cute if you also like that sort of place). I had the bacon and cheddar burger. It was pretty good size and and quality for the $8-9. Beer selection was typical. On top of the usual mass produced crap, they had Newcastle, Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, etc ($5 a pint, I saw signs for $3 happy hour prices). Also, the reason this went from a 3 star to a 2. If you sit near the door be prepared to deal with some cigarette smoke. The outside seating allows smoking within 5 feet of an open door with people eating inside! I thought it was a CA law that prohibited smoking with 20 feet of a business, but maybe that is just LA. All in all a good place to watch some sports and eat some decent grub. I'll probably only come again if going to another show at the theatre next door, as I'm a SFV resident, but that shouldn't stop you!

    (2)
  • Chris E.

The happy hour menu can't be matched by anything in the area; 2 for 1 drink specials with half off almost all appetizers. This includes pitchers (but from what I heard pitchers might be out of this now) and standard alcoholic drinks. If it wasn't for this happy hour special and how lovely the waitresses are, I would have rated this a 2 star. The place is designed to look like a sports bar with sports memorabilia plastered on the walls and the waitresses looking like referees. The food is what you would expect from a bar, not bad but nothing to do a cartwheel for. They have mostly domestics on tap with some imported beverages. Great place to stop by after work or to catch part of a sports game.

  • Daniel V.

What can I say? 2 for 1 happy hour and half off appetizers until 7pm???!!!! Finally came here on a Thursday night around 6pm and there were maybe 15 people total. Service was good and the chick bartenders weren't bad to look at either. They even let you order from the taco place next door and eat their food here! The chicken tenders were pretty good but I did notice the 2 for 1 well drinks are a bit watered down (saving money on their part for that crazy price) so don't except anything strong-I could barely taste the gin in my Tom Collins. Conversely, the Long Island Ice Teas are VERY strong so beware haha. Overall I will be back to try some food and other drinks since the crowd doesn't seem to get there till after 8.

Eh. Drink wasn't very strong, food was meh and service wasn't the friendliest.

Ok so here is how i see it this place has begun an amazing trend in Pomona; a cleaner safer night out and it all starts here at this place.... i have made it a point to let all my friends know bout this place the staff is amazing the service is top notch some of the best drinks i've had were made here... it's very price friendly i've been coming here for bout a year and a half and have truly become noticed by staff, the security, management and even owners... i have been around long enough to see that security here is unlike anywhere else... i don't consider them "BOUNCERS" but more "COOLERS" they make every effort to settle any problems before it's even a situation and it has become very evident to the customers who always great them with hugs and know them all by name.... i have seen people come back the next night from being asked to leave and actually apologize to the staff and security... that says a lot!! the food is great here and the drink specials are awesome and usually all night they have great DJs playing a mix of music from Thursdays through Saturdays and now i hear they are bringing a WEDNESDAY night to pomona as well!!! the owners have brought a few places to downtown Pomona and have made this a great place to hang out and this place FOX sports bar is the heart of it all. entertaining and fun with a great crowd there is no bad element here after 9pm dress code is enforced and never cover charge i highly recommend this place and tell the staff Frank V sent ya and they will ring the bell for you!! ;)

  • Eddie F.

Happy Hour is two for the price of one. Down fall; The food needs alot of work, perhaps a new chef or new menu. Anyhow Papa's taco's is next door and that place ROCKS!!!

  • Cee O.

Been here a few Fridays now and still haven't seen one fight, one drunk girl throw up, one person get thrown out.... or any of the staff being assh*les- Just fun. Drinks are decent, beers are cold, place gets a good crowd later in the evening, and we have a good time. It is what it is a cool sports bar to come hang with friends watch a game, listen to music, etc.

  • Valerie M.

I'm guessing this bar is new. I actually just went here earlier today to grab a couple drinks before having dinner at Sakura Ichi. If there's one thing you gotta remember it's the Happy Hour! Supposedly this place gets busy on the weekends or during concerts next door to the Fox theatre but it's awesome when you can easily catch a seat at the bar. Bre was our bartender for the one hour we were there. She was great! Super friendly and made good conversation. She tried her best to suggest good drinks. The cool thing about their Happy Hour is that all drinks are 2 for 1 special. We got two washington apples, two bahama mamas, and two apple martinis. 3 drinks for only $24! Not too shabby! There's no doubt that I'd be coming again. Note: Drinks were good but a little watered down. The music that was played could've been more upbeat to set a "we're at a bar-i'm just chillin- kinda feel."

Terrible horrible turd hole. Place smells like a hobos penis after a hot night of hobo butt love. Drinks are waaay over priced and watered down. I believe the door man is also missing a chromosome or two. Bar is usually filled with cholo duchebags and Pomona bro hoes. Also, they like to pick and choose who to enforce the dress code on. What kind of sports bar doesn't allow someone to wear a hat!?! I hope this place gets caught selling drinks to under age girls (which they do often) and gets shut down. Go down the street to DBA for a much better experience.

Seriously great happy hour. Two for One drinks! Cannot beat that. And I don't think the drinks were even watered down, which is great. Plus all the appetizers are 1/2 off as well. I spent $15 and was full and buzzed! Plus you can bust out the beer pong tables and purchase a pitcher to play beer pong or flip cup. This place is a lot of fun with a big group of people - really chill and the DJ is pretty good too.. he had all the kids rockin'.

Deceivingly delicious bloody marys. Like, really good. On the small side and not cheap, but the bartender really put some effort into them.

Went there for the UFC Cain vs. Dos Santos III. No cover six bucks for pomona queen. Couldn't find a seat but who cares a few beers and UFC for twenty bucks I'm happy. Definitely sticking to The Fox Bar.

I've been here a few time in the last couple years and have never been wowed. So I came in last week and had decent serves and the price wasn't too bad so I decided to come in today and it must be manager free day becuz service sux. Some guy from the back came and changed the soccer game first then I told him that I was watching that game and the laker game on the tv next to it. So five mins later he comes back and changes the lakers game. Also the music was playing and some girls is sing with a mic the whole time I was there, believe she worked there becuz she would go behind the bar and change the song from a phone. She sang the same song a few times through out the time I was here. So when I was ready to leave the bar, the bartender was outside smoking. So i gave them two stars becuz the place is pretty chill, decent, prices on beer. food didn't look that appealing but didn't try so cant say.

The music was good. They had a live dj. The service was great too, but it gets three stars because their food was horrible. I didn't like their burgers... to much mayo. I think they buy the frozen patties.

Good music, crowd wasn't what I'm used to. Plus one extra star because the drinks are strong. This would be good place to watch games and fights.

Bartender named Gabriel was super cool. Bouncer asked if we wanted a table outside instead of standing since it was packed for the DKM show that night. Drinks were good, prices decent. Wings were killer.

Very small bar! I will never go there again! It was clean and new. But felt like I was going to get mugged there. If you want to watch a UFC fight there arrive early! Music there horrible! Projection screen there very poor quality! Only two waitresses! I was carded twice once to get into the bar which I had no problem. But after I was in the bar ordering drinks I was asked to show my ID again. Then I saw a woman sitting at the bar with an infant. I don't get it! Anyways! Don't go there! It Sucks!

This past weekend I went in there for a party I was very satisfied with the service our waitress provided us with. We were a party of ten and the drinks kept coming... along with water pitchers which was really nice. Our waitress never disappeared we never had to look for her, and was constantly checking on us. It also helped that she wasnt bad lookin. I dig the red hair, also drink prices were decent, music was great and its a good location. overall experience was great. I will be back

Came here with High On Fire after they played the Glasshouse and I felt like I was in another dimension. Here I am with a bunch of super metal guys in a horrible sports bar where everyone is wearing an Affliction shirt and they are blasting the worst 1998 techno music. I felt really sorry for the waitresses in referee outfits who obviously did not want to be there. At least my gin and tonic was strong and moderately priced at $6. It's probably a good place to catch a game since their walls are covered in televisions but don't ever come here for a late night drink.

Ugh, you guys suck. First of all, my husband lost his MILITARY ID there and his jacket. The bartender never gave it back to him when he closed his tab. When he went the next day to find it, they said that they couldn't find it. After that, he told them that he will make a police report about it and after he said that, they magically found the military ID but not his jacket. Just this week, his sister went to the Fox Bar and asked the people for his jacket and then they gave it to her. Fox bar kept his jacket for two weeks before surrendering it. I don't understand why The Fox Bar Staff are lazy and un-empathetic to their customers. You deal with a bunch of drunks so in this business, you must be patient. Fox Bar, you get an "F" for failure to help out your customers with lost and found stuff. ESPECIALLY TO A PERSON WHO SERVES OUR COUNTRY AND LEFT THEIR MILITARY ID AT YOUR BAR!!! You are very mean Fox Bar.

Having toured the neighborhood in this area, I have to say that this has become my weekend hang-out spot. While you have the "epic" club down the street, and the pretentious wine bar slash gallery and the "our bar is cool because it's glass and curvy metal throughout", I prefer the one that doesn't make put on a persona when all I want is a beer and the scores. This isn't a club mind you, this is a sports bar, they have flat screens and projectors through-out and they show major MMA events for free on all of them. (For those who like free, it means there's gonna be a crowd, for those who want elbow room order it from home and enjoy your elbow room) The bartenders are friendly and fast and the wait staff is responsive and cordial. The music, while varied, is meant to keep your conversations at your table. They've been bringing in live bands over the last few weekends, so it's a good idea to check-in regularly and support the local music scene.

First, let me start by stating that I used to be a "regular" at the Fox Sports Bar & Grill. So much so, that the bartender, waitresses and bouncers all know me by name. With that being said, I must admit that I used to love this place! This of course took a turn for the worst just a few days ago. A few friends and I went to the bar to watch the UFC fight that was being televised there. There were a total of five (5) people at our table. All of whom ordered food, while only four (4) of us actually ordered drinks. During the course of our visit, our waitress, Amanda (a.k.a. Mandie) kept coming over to our table to complain about other customers she was serving all while cursing and complaining about their requests for blue cheese dressing (ridiculous, I know!). When she brought the food we ordered out to our table, the order of chicken nachos had cold cheese below the surface of the melted cheese and was missing the chicken. "Mandie" was upset that she was asked to take the nachos back for reheating, and instead of adding the chicken to the nachos in the kitchen, she simply brought some chicken out from the kitchen and topped the "chicken nachos" with the absent chicken. As explained anterior, there were only five (5) people in our party. Upon reception of our tab, we noticed that an 18% gratuity had already been added to our total. Although it seemed a bit unfair considering we were only a party of five, we didn't complain and proceeded to pay our tab. We handed the waitress cash for partial payment and requested for the balance to be divided amongst the credit cards provided. Once we received our final receipts for signature, we noticed that the total each person was being charged was incorrect. We inquired about the discrepancy, and "Mandie" quickly became defensive blaming the computer system for the error stating, "You can bitch at me all you want, but it's the computer's fault. What do you want me to do?" Although the discrepancy yielded approximately $4-$5 per person, I maintained that the discrepancy would not be an issue had the bar not imposed an 18% gratuity fee, and then still attempt to overcharge our party by nearly $15. In accordance, it was also extremely frustrating to hear the waitress be so outwardly unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. We would've resorted to speaking to the manager, Justin about the issue, but I can honestly say he is just as useless as his staff. He actually had the audacity to approach one of the members of our party stating, "I can't believe you were bitching over $4.00." I would also like to add that the waitress approached me as I was leaving to inquire about the individuals in my party. She went as far as asking, "How close are you to that guy?" (while pointing at my best friend). I assume she was hoping that I would somehow open up the discussion for her to complain about him to me - definitely a rude and disrespectful move! Bottom line: drinks are pretty cheap during Happy Hour, and although the bartender, Elvis and the bouncer, John are quite pleasant, I will most definitely not be returning to this bar! Upper management needs to implement a complete reorganization of staff and hire professionals who can handle the pressures of their job, as opposed to hiring trashy girls as waitresses and a useless manager who is rude and disrespectful to customers, to ensure they can keep a vast array of returning customers. In accordance, I would also like to point out that we were sober when we left the bar; therefore, we were able to catch the discrepancy in our bill. However, this only makes me wonder how many times I may have signed off on a tab while being overcharged, and overlooked the error because I had a few drinks in my system! *** Make sure to double-check all of your transactions and tabs when going to the Fox Sports Bar & Grill because you could be their next victim! ***
